September 24, 1998
Jill Valentine had slept on her couch. She rested her head on the arm of her furniture. She slowly opened her eyes. It was pouring outside. Jill sat up on her couch and rubbed her eye. She was tired and didn't know what time it was. Jill got up from her couch and walked to the window. She shut it.
She needed a shower. Jill made her way to the bathroom. It was November 24, 1998. Jill opened the door to the bathroom. She turned on the light. She walked towards the mirror. She examined her eyes. There was nothing wrong with them, just tiredness. There was a gun laying on the sink. Nothing seemed wrong with her. Then a tall figure was standing behind her. Jill saw the shadow of it through the mirror. Jill slowly moved her hand to grab the gun. Cautiously. Whatever was behind her was massive. How did it manage ti get into her apartment? Jill got her hand on the gun. She knew it was loaded.
Jill then turned around and aimed the gun at the monster only for the figure to shoot out a spinal tentacle from the top of its wrist, not the bottom. It wrapped around Jill's arm and twisted it. It didn't break her arm but the gun dropped out of her hand. The tentacle looked like a spinal cord. Jill attempted to release herself but it was all in vain.
The figure then slammed Jill, via with the Spinal Tentacle, into the wall of her bathroom. Then on the other wall. It slammed Jill repeatedly into the walls.
After a short while, Jill had blood oozing from her mouth. She couldn't feel her body. The figure then pulled Jill towards it. Jill's head hit the top of the door frame. The tentacle released from Jill's arm.
Jill looked up to see a monster in a Black Suit and Fedora. It's face was almost a blank face. It was colored grey with lifeless eyes. It stared down at Jill.
Then it lifted its foot over Jill's head.
"No, No, NOOO" Jill pleaded only for the foot to smash down on her head.
*CRACKLZ*
"*GASP*" Jill gasped. She looked at her hands. She was sitting on her desk. She must've fallen asleep. What an awful nightmare. She had pretty bad ones in the past, but nothing like the one she just had.
"Fucking Hell," Jill said to herself. She got off her desk and out of her chair. It wasn't raining outside like in her nightmare. Jill then looked at her chart. It was everything about Umbrella. Their locations, their experiments, everything she knew about them.
"Gets worse every night," Jill said she was about to walk to her bathroom when she stopped herself. She looked at her desk. On it was many notepads, sticky notes, paper, all the usual. But what stood out the most was a picture. Of her, and her deceased boyfriend, Nick Redfield. Jill couldn't help but feel the sadness return to her. The sorrow. But she had to move on. She couldn't though. Nick meant the world to her. And Umbrella took it.
Nick sacrificed himself to ensure that none of the monsters escaped from the mansion. But also so he could save the rescue team from certain doom. The whole mansion exploded and collapsed off the mountain. Jill felt so empty at the time. She still does. Nick was kind, attractive, handsome, smart, polite, funny. He had every trait from a man that a woman could ask for. Jill and he argued very little and after their arguments, they both apologize to each other.
And Nick was a Good brother. To both Chris and Claire. And he was probably the best fighter S.T.A.R.S ever had. He knew Taekwondo, Karate, Kung Fu, Judo, and a very dangerous and most lethal, Krav Maga. Which was a martial art made for extremely lethal attacks.
Jill even learned a few fighting styles herself. But she just chose to stick with two. Karate and Judo. Judo was for Self-Defense. Whilst Karate was Jill's offensive fighting. She loved Nick and he loved her. He even died for her.
But nothing was going to bring him back. And that was that.
Jill picked up the picture of her and Nick. Jill put bunny ears on Nick while he returned the favor. Jill gave a small laugh. She always had one every time she looked at the picture.
She gently caressed the frame of the picture. She would do anything to get him back. But nothing could change that. She would have to live with it. That's just how life works.
There was a smaller picture that sat next to it. It was yet again, him and her. Jill sat down the photo and picked up the smaller one. She took it out of the frame. She looked at it and smiled. She then kissed the photo and slipped it into her pocket.
She then went into the bathroom and checked herself for any infections. It had been over five years since Jill left S.T.A.R.S. Chris had stayed but he was on vacation in Europe. Jill also heard that earlier yesterday, Claire had arrived back in town. And with a possible boyfriend, who went by the name Leon Kennedy, a rookie Police officer on his first day. They spent the whole day together. Jill was raring to meet Claire and Leon. Jill hasn't seen Claire since her 17th birthday. Maybe later tonight if they're awake. Boy, would Chris be surprised to see his sister already getting a boyfriend.
After Jill checked herself out she turned off the sink and walked out of the bathroom. A phone started ringing.
"Who could that be?" Jill said as she made her way into the living room.
She picked up the phone and answered it.
"Hello?"
"Jill, are you okay!?" A male voice came over the phone.
"Brad is that you?" Jill said.
"Listen, you gotta get out of there!" Brad said on the phone.
"What are you talking about?" Jill asked.
"I don't have time to explain, you gotta get out of there RIGHT NOW!" Brad said.
"Alright let me grab my-*BAM*" Jill was cut off when a massive gloved hand shot through her wall and grabbed her head. Jill grabbed on the arm and tried to free herself. The gloved hand threw Jill into the opposite wall across the room.
Jill slammed into the wall. She looked up to see her wall collapse. And revealed the monster she saw in her nightmare. It had a Black Suit with a Fedora on it's head. A cold grey face with a blank stare. It stood about 7' 8". Much taller than her.
The monster advanced towards her. Jill scrambled to grab her gun but was immediately kicked in the rib and sent back into the wall. Jill screamed in pain. Her ribs might be broken or bruised. Jill had the gun in her hand. She aimed it at the monster that loomed over her. She fired the gun BANG! BANG! BANG! Jill shot the gun three times hitting the monster dead on. But it didn't seem fazed by the shots. The monster then grabbed her by the throat lifting her up to eye level. It started to choke Jill.
Jill aimed the gun at the monster and shot it, BANG! BANG! BANG! Jill shot it three times more. The bullets hit the monster in the face. But it only seemed to anger the monster more. The monster then lifted Jill higher and body-slammed her into the floor.
Jill grunted when she hit the floor. The Monster lifted its foot. Jill moved to the side, right before the monster's foot smashed down on the floor.
Jill got on her feet and quickly ducked when the monster attempted to punch her but met with the wall. Jill then ran towards the door but something grabbed her in the ankle. She was then brought backward toward the monster.
The monster had used its Spinal Tentacle to grab Jill and bring her towards it. The Spinal Tentacle dragged Jill towards the monster. Jill grabbed a knife that fell off the kitchen counter. She grabbed it and sliced the Spinal Tentacle off her ankle. Jill then scrambled to her feet and raced towards the door. She could hear the monster's footsteps coming towards her. Jill burst through her door and shut it behind her. She stayed where she was to recover from what just happened.
The monster then punched the door, bending it but not breaking it. Jill fell forwards a bit but continued to run.
"What the hell is that thing!?" Jill said as she limped down the hallway. Her ribs were still in pain and her leg was slightly injured.
Jill heard something break behind her. She glanced back just before a piece of rubble was thrown at her. Jill fell forwards avoiding the piece of rubble as it smashed the other door and blocked her way out of the building. She was on the third story of the building and she needed to get past the monster. She went into another room and closed the door. There was a bookshelf with no books next to the door. Jill leaned the bookshelf in front of the door to block the monster from getting to her. She now needed to find a way to escape that monster, Whatever it was.
