The next morning Lincoln woke up and decided to take it easy by taking out of of the Ace Savvy comic books that he had brought with him out of his bag and ready quietly on his bed; before he could really start he had to get into it there was Ezekiel looking over his bed with a smile making Lincoln sigh. "Ezekiel; here is another lesson about people's skills: there are times when people needs their privacy and for me it's when I am trying to ready my comics!" Lincoln told him with wide eyes and Ezekiel nodded as he went back to his bed.

"Oh Lincoln; if you have time maybe you can have a walk with Gwen at the beach? Or you two can read those comics together sitting next to eachother? Or perhaps do something else?" Cody asked with a smile as Gwen still in her nightshirt gave him a look in her eye that silently asked 'is that really the best you can come up with?'

"Not into superheroes sorry to say..." Gwen admitted as Lincoln sighed some more.

"Perhaps we could spend some time together later but right now..." Lincoln responded as Courtney was now coming near his bed with a clipboard.

"Lincoln; I am wanting to put together details about our team including likes, dislikes and any other skills that may come in handy. could be valuable in strategizing on how to keep our winning streak going on!" Courtney asked as Lincoln facepalmed. "Plus... Does sleeping with a toy rabbit bring you any luck?" Courtney questioned as Lincoln held Bun-Bun who was lying next to his pillow close to him.

"First of; leave Bun-Bun alone and second of all: maybe later Courtney as I just want to read..." Lincoln pleaded as Owen shouting bending over.

"Hey guys; I know I struck out yesterday but I think that I can pull off tooting to Mozart..." Owen suggested as Lincoln jumped off his bed and angrily went to the door of the cabin.

"Across the pond from my home and my sisters and yet I STILL having problems getting some peace time to read my comics... I hate my luck... Come to think of it; the concept of luck in general..." Lincoln sighed and saw that Katie and Sadie were running together and holding hands. "They are just so much alike and are so disgustingly close with their friendship that you could swear that they are joined to the hip or in love with eachother... Wait... Is this what my friendship with Clyde looks like to other people... Come to think of it Clincoln McCloud sounds like a couple's name... Can't believe I never thought of that until now..." Lincoln pondered and realised and wondered if he would have more peace sitting by the other end of the Screaming Beavers' cabin.

He got there but heard choking from the window and noticed but saw that Lightning was choking and given the Heimlich maneuverer from Dawn causing Lightning to cough up a cockroach that Dawn picked up. Lincoln smiled at this display.

"Wow; thanks creepy girl!" Lightning told Dawn gratefully and Lincoln saw how Lightning could be so appreciative; really competitive from how Lincoln had seen so far and just like Lynn, he wasn't all bad. His first instinct upon finding him, Gwen and Ezekiel in that net was to go and help free them.

"For what?" Dawn asked and looked to the cockroach in her hands making everyone's eyes widen. "You're safe now little one!" Dawn assured the little cockroach as everyone just stared with some shakes of the head and Lightning glared at the apparent lack of concern about him from Dawn with Lincoln wondering what was going to happen now.

"I would have taken care of that cockroach as well if Dawn wasn't here to get to them first! Next one I am dealing with it!" Tyler boasted to Lindsay as she looked at him all dreamy eyed.

"Well Lightning was choking and you did help him take care of that; I don't think it would have been pleasant for him or the cockroach if he had swallowed it. I bet you would have done the same if you realised he was choking and didn't know that it on a cockroach." DJ said after a cough joining the conversation with Lincoln smiling at how much of a nice guy DJ seemed to be, he kind of wished that DJ was apart of the Hamsters as well.

Zoey smiled as well grateful for DJ in clarifying this.

"Oh; yes. Anyone needing help and I would lend my assistance. You are welcome Lightning." Dawn nodded with a smile and Lightning grunted accepting that. "You know Lightning; if you decide to cut back on your training a bit then you could try bonding with DJ. You have your difficult relationship with your father and DJ's father abandoned him and his mother when he was a child after a winning lottery ticket." Dawn spoke out loud with an uncomfortable silence after that as Lightning and DJ stepped away from her with DJ holding back tears in his eye.

Dawn sighed as she slowly left with her head down and Lincoln couldn't help but feel sorry for the girl; having an amazing gift with animals and being able to read people auras but how she uses it and her demeanour was a bit off putting to most of the campers.

Lincoln went to run after her and found Zoey running out of the door concerned for her friend. "I will have a talk with her; I kind of listened by the window because I wanted a quiet place to read..." Lincoln told her and Zoey let him chase after Dawn but she went to watch from a close enough distance to hear.

Dawn was sadly on a lotus position petting a chipmunk as Lincoln went to sit next to her; "You overheard when you were finding a place to read." Dawn said and looked her way to Lincoln. "Before you say anything; I know that I am not the most popular here... Alienating people with reading my auras when I just want to make friends like Zoey... Don't have much friends home that are not Mother Earth's animals..." Dawn sighed sadly.

"I think it's a little cool but you can try turning it down; I don't think people would appreciate you just blurting out personal information about that. I think that giving people some space and time to get to know this amazing girl you are then they would love to be your friend. You with your animals and I thought that your singing act was a tough one to try and beat..." Lincoln said as Dawn giggled some more.

"You were spectacular yourself and thank you; I will try but... I know reading auras and being one of nature doesn't make me enough much friends... Especially got me ridiculed and bullied; including this one humiliating experience when I was 7... I think I need to let it out now that the story's in my head..." Dawn replied and Lincoln smiled with a reassuring nod. "My family went on a road trip vacation to the US when I was 7; it was mostly great with the sights that we had seen and what we had learned. We had visited this Native American Tribe and purchased these dreamcatchers that I still use today... One stop was at this forest where we stayed at this hotel." Dawn started to explain and Lincoln thought that it reminded him of the road trip that his family went on when he was 7.

A more special memory to him than what his family believed because that was where he had his first kiss and he wouldn't speak if of it to anyone; not even Clyde as he didn't want to take the chance that his sisters would find out and how they would react. He can't even remember the girl's name even if he remembered details about her and a little bit of an image in his head...

"The kids there gathered together for a party and I participated... I didn't exactly make friends but during spin the bottle when it was my turn, there was this boy with his toy rabbit who it landed on and he freaked out and I was hesitant myself because I never kissed a boy. I could tell from his aura that he was scared of being teased by his sisters but then the kids all began mocking me and laughing at my expense... Saying that they can't blame him for not wanting to kiss a freak like me... I ran crying and the boy just stared..." Dawn continued sadly wiping away tears that were forming and Lincoln froze as the story started becoming more and more familiar.

"The next day I was playing with the animals in the forest but I heard the boy from the previous having gotten lost due to reading a map given to him wrong as he said; he slipped and fell so..." Dawn said but Lincoln straightened up as he interrupted.

"But you had the animals helped him get up safely and you made sure he was okay; he apologised for the party and not speaking up for you. He said he would be willing to kiss you and after you did, he was speechless and you giggled. You gave him his rabbit Bun-Bun back as his parents found you both. He was really guilty and and sorry about not speaking up for you when you were being cruelly made fun of and he did want to comfort you when he saw you crying in the corner." Lincoln finished remembering how worried sick his parents were and the scolding that they had given Lori and Leni; Lincoln was in a position to wander off as they were too busy talking to eachother when they were supposed to keep an eye on their siblings. Lincoln was wanting help with the map but Lori just shoved him in the wrong direction and said the map was fine where it was; not really thinking about what she was saying or the situation.

They were super sorry and Lori did say that she was the first to realise that Lincoln was missing and admitted that it was her fault.

"Uh yes... Are you reading my aura..." Dawn asked confused but then her eyes widened as well as Zoey as Lincoln brought out Bun-Bun. "The same rabbit with the purple shirt and I found the white hair familiar but..." Dawn muttered in shock as Lincoln was nervous as well.

"So we meet again... Wait... You were my first kiss?" Lincoln asked in shock thinking about how he had unknowingly kissed one of the 2 cute girls he think that he had his eye on.

"Plus you were mine..." Dawn replied as Zoey was ready to squeal out loud and she then waved to her direction with Lincoln nervous.

"Wow... I think I need breakfast..." Lincoln ran off as Zoey ran to Dawn taking her hands.

"Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! This must be fate; you both entering eachother's lives after so long to rekindle into a romance! Just like in the movies!" Zoey squealed as Dawn chuckled.

"Thanks Zoey but this is real life and not a movie!" Dawn replied with the nearby animals including birds, squirrels and bears nodding along with her.

"You just wait Dawn..." Zoey swore thinking that she needed to help her new friends get their Summer romance! Hopefully being on opposing teams won't get in the way...

Lincoln and Dawn were tense as they were at their normal tables; Gwen sighing as she went to th table and Cody offered the seat next to Lincoln to her. Gwen shook her head and noticed Lincoln looking tense. "You are alright there Lincoln? Did you get peace to read your comic?" Gwen asked as Lincoln sighed.

"I will try later..." Lincoln said shaking his head.

"Everyone; Katie and I had the best idea... Somersault Bowling! Turns out Ezekiel brought a switchblade from home and he could craft wooden bowling pins from a fallen tree so what do you think?" Sadie asked the fellow Killer Hamsters and Owen screamed excitedly.

"Never heard of something like that... But it sounds fun! Count me in!" Lincoln smiled as Gwen started laughing.

"I will watch and be there to pick you up for when you fall." Gwen joked as Lincoln laughed with Cody smiling at this.

"Beavers; I want you all to get a good look at that lot and tell yourself that we are LOSING to them!" Lightning told the Screaming Beavers seriously.

"Anyone else notice how Lincoln seems to be vibing more and more with Gwen? Could be like as siblings or something more." DJ pointed out as they stared at him.

"They are just friends Dawn; remember it was you Lincoln drew that amazing picture of and not Gwen." Zoey reminded Dawn with a whisper to her ear as Lindsay looked on watching the start of things.
