I have to admit that I was kind of hoping that readers of the last chapter would comment on me deciding to have the timeline messed up and now Dawn is a fan of Julia the influencer from the Total Drama Island revival. For those who have seen that season; please tell me what you think.
This time it's Royal Wood instead of Great Lake City that we found ourselves in as the Loud family ends up with a bit of bad luck as a lot of parts in Vanzilla had died out beyond what Lana was capable of fixing so the Loud family would be watching the latest Total Drama Island episode at home with the older sisters coming to the family home to watch except for Lori who would be staying at the Casagrande apartment to watch with her in-laws.
"Shame that you can't be here Lori as I have made Lynn's Table's new specialty right here!" Lynn Sr said on the phone to his oldest daughter as he went to the living room to place down the meals for the gathered family members to watch.
"Literally jealous but we can always talk about it after the episode and I am sure that we can work something out to get together between the families for the next episode! See you and everyone else next time dad!" Lori told Lynn Sr as he took his place next to this wife.
"Shame that we can't all be together this time..." Rita sighed.
"Always next time and I am sure our families won't miss much having to watch seperately this time." Lisa commented.
"Going to be weird watching the show at home and without the Casagrandes." Lily spoke and it did feel a bit weird.
"Indeed dudes but... It's starting!" Luna said as they quietened down to watch the show.
"Last time on Total Drama Island!" said Chris as it showed clips of the previous episode. "Zoey had put the teams together to make things more simple between them but a game of spin the bottle put a dash to those dreams. The teams were challenged to spend a night in the woods much to the chagrin of the Killer Hamsters as none of them forgot the disaster of their hunting expediture masterminded by Ezekiel. However Ezekiel managed to show that he has legit outdoors skills when he fished some food from them. However Tyler ended up finding out about Lindsay's manipulative side during the night where he wound up being attacked by a bear. Ouch. It was Tyler going home and unable to give a proper warning to his team about his now ex-crush but it seems that Dawn has picked up. So will Dawn discover Lindsay's schemes? Who is on the chopping block in this episode? Can my teeth get any more white? Find out in this exciting edition of... Total... Drama... Island!"
They all sighed at the reminder of the last episode.
The opening is shown
It was the morning of 3 days after the challenge and in the cabin of the Screaming Beavers; the campers were getting up with Lightning hurrying everyone to get up and started to go out and get changed. "Up and at them Beavers; it's challenge day and Lightning doesn't want another losing streak with how the last one ended!" Lightning told them being the one to be up before any of them; except for Dawn as she liked to be up early as well.
"Is this Lynn at a sports camp..." snickered Lana along with the other sisters as Lynn Jr just pouted with her arms folded.
"Not really our fault that Tyler got a bit of bad luck last challenge with that bear that got to him." DJ reminded him as Lightning gave a knowing look.
"Unfortunate indeed but I would still like to know why he was out in the middle of the night in the first place. Plus what he wanted to tell us..." Dawn brought up deep in thought and there was Lindsay giving her a smile and a wave as she passed her. "I feel the grey in her aura again; if only I could pinpoint it..." Dawn said to herself as Zoey went and put an arm around her shoulder.
"Come on Dawn; you can figure it out!" pleaded Lily as it was a sentiment shared by all of them.
"I sure hope that her snooping doesn't end up getting something bad happen to her thanks to Lindsay!" Leni said looking worried as it was a valid fear considering what happened to Tyler.
"Come on Dawn; please don't tell me that you are being suspicious of Lindsay again. You have been like this since the last challenge. Do you honestly think that sweet not so smart Lindsay could have intentionally set Tyler up to be attacked by a bear in the middle of the night?" Zoey asked her as Dawn looked in deep in thought.
"Uh Zoey... I know she's weird but you should listen to Dawn on this!" Lola was ready to cry out.
"I hope this doesn't backfire on Zoey; not heeding Dawn's warning..." Luan said not finding this a laughing matter.
"I don't know... I don't want to think that someone could do that and Lindsay does seem nice but... I never found greyness when reading someone's aura before; it's as if half of it is an act and the other is... I feel that her parents put her in front of TV soaps to raise her for her but..." Dawn spoke as she got looks from the other teammates about her words.
"If this is the case... I would be angry if this is her justification for pulling all of this!" Rita ranted shaking her head knowing that this girl was playing around with her only son and the family gave a nod at once.
"Just ignore it Dawn and focus on today's challenge; I am warming up to your quirks but I don't think our teammates are the same but give it time. Besides today's challenge might be fun; you did like being in the trees for the night last one." Zoey told her as she beamed a little.
"Sleeping out in nature like the animal kingdom was extraordinary." Dawn agreed as they left together.
They were wondering what could be in store for them in this episode.
"OMG; Justin was there and he like totally looked my way with his shirt off and with the biggest smile!" Sadie was telling Katie in the Killer Hamsters' cabin.
"OMG; I had the same exactly dream!" Katie said as they squealed at once holding hands as everyone else was getting up and watching this.
The younger Loud siblings swooned at being reminded of Justin and just another reason to dislike Lindsay as she set him up to be eliminated.
"It's like they share a hive mind between their small brains..." Courtney muttered shaking her head at her two teammates.
"Have you seen two friends who are close as they are?" Cody asked Lincoln grumbled as they looked at him.
"Well; my best friend Clyde and I are pretty close and we like a lot of the same things. We even call ourselves Clincoln McBride!" Lincoln explained as they just stared at him. "Yeah... Looking at these two makes me think about if it's what it's like looking at me and Clyde..." Lincoln continued on.
They snickered at this as the two were the closest friends that any of them had ether seen; "Yeah Lincoln; you finally see what everyone else sees when they see you and Clyde together..." laughed Lana and the others.
"Well I bet that pretty soon you and I will be as close!" Ezekiel said with a confident smile as Lincoln rolled his eyes as Gwen giggled with a smirk of her own at this.
They shook their heads; "Still astounds me that Lincoln is still willing to deal with him and that he is still even in the game." Luna spoke as they all agreed.
At the campfire pit the two teams were sitted down as Chris was facing them; "You are here for today's extreme max impact challenge!" Chris said as Ezekiel yelled out in excitement with his teammates looking at him.
"You know; it really does surprise me that you have actually managed to last this long! After your sexist display on the ship coming here; I thought for sure that you were the first one out." Courtney commented with her arms folded.
They were in agreement with Courtney and they didn't really know what happened on the ship.
"Can only hope your sisters don't get into too much trouble with the brother there; must have been a lot of work having to look after all those girls. My dad said I had to look after the girls here when I get on the show aye with how inferior they are." said Ezekiel on the cruise ship and there was a pause as he had gotten looks from everyone on board and the girls all glaring at him. "What? It's true; guys are so much smarter, stronger and better at sports than girls are aye. Not your fault and you have me and the other guys to help you through it; want to help you all survive it all!" Ezekiel continued unable to read the room or rather the deck in this case as the glares from the girls became harsher and they walked away from him.
They blinked at Ezekiel's thoughtless words and their jaws were wide open; "So this is the fool that he made of himself on the ship? Lincoln still was willing to put him under his wing after THAT display?" Luna asked in disbelief along with the others.
"Has been said that he was sheltered and home schooled but yes..." Rita pointed out but was shaking her head all the same.
"Still think that Lincoln should have ditched him; Ronnie Anne had the right idea calling hom dead weight." Lynn Jr said.
"He did pull through with challenges..." Lana reminded everyone but Lynn Jr just grumbled.
"Today's challenge is about survival; you are all going hunting!" Chris said bringing out a green paintball gun as Ezekiel jumped out of his seat with a grin and a look of horror on Dawn's face.
Their eyes widened at this as Lana looked repulsed as easily the biggest animal lover in the family.
"Man; I can only imagine what Sam must be thinking..." muttered Luna as her band all watched the show themselves and knew that her girlfriend was a big animal lover like Lana.
"Absolutely not! I detest hunting in all it's forms and I refuse to participate!" Dawn yelled with a glare and her arms folded with Lincoln feeling sorry for her and hoping that this doesn't cause her to get eliminated in this challenge.
Obvious that Dawn would the most opposed to this but hopefully this doesn't cost her in this challenge.
"Well it looks like an easy win for us Hamsters aye! I am a natural hunter!" Ezekiel grinned.
They rolled their eyes at this; they will believe this when they see it.
"I seemed to remember what happened when you led that hunting expedition on our first night here and what was that you admitted before we got into a net? Oh right; on your audition tape you tried to hunt a moose but caught your mum instead." Gwen brought up as they laughed as Ezekiel looked sheepish at that.
They bursted into laughter; "Oh yeah; someone in my class showed me it on the show's website... Can't believe that he was let in with that audition!" laughed Lily as it did sound amusing and that first night would always come back to haunt Ezekiel with the reminder as they knew.
"As hilarious as that audition tape admittingly was; you see this is a paintball gun and this is the ever Paintball Deer Hunt! I will separate you all into deer and hunters and your job will be to hunt down the other team's deer or to hide from the other team's hunters." Chris explained and some relief on the campers who weren't keen on hunting.
"So they are not actually hunting?" Lana asked feeling relieved and it looked to be the case.
"So we are not actually killing any poor creatures?" Dawn asked and she got Chris's paintball gun thrown at her.
"Negatory. Dawn you will be one of the Screaming Beavers' hunters using blue paint along with Zoey & DJ." Chris explained as the ones mentioned got passed paintball guns. "For the Killer Hamsters using orange paint; the hunters will be Ezekiel, Courtney & Sadie!" Chris said passing them the pink paintball guns with Ezekiel being excited about getting his. "You will also be getting these styling glasses and hats!" Chris said showing them the special glasses and hunting hats.
"Here are your antlers, noses and tails for the rest of you as you will be deer!" Chris said showing them off as they blinked.
"I bet I would cute dressed as a deer!" cheered Leni as everyone started snickering upon realising that Lincoln and Lightning would be among the deer.
"Uh nah... Lightning is no deer and Lightning is not wearing that!" Lightning thundered in fury; clearly not amused by the idea only for Chris to put the deer parts on him saying that if he takes them off then his team is toast.
"Man; I would not be happy to be made a deer..." Lynn Jr shook her head.
"Can, I swap please? I would be more at home being one of the gentle elegant deer..." Dawn muttered looking uncertainly at her paintball gun as Zoey came up to her with a smile.
Off course Dawn would be more into acting as a deer with being a big nature and animal lover.
"Come on Dawn; it's going to be a blast! I have seen commando styled action films like First Blood and does Predator count? This is something that I always wanted to try out..." Zoey told her with a grin.
"Oh man; I love those movies! Rambo: First Blood Part 2 is one of my favourite action films!" cheered Lynn Sr as they looked in amusement.
"Surprised to see Zoey into that stuff; can't see the dudette being into that commando stuff..." Luna spoke as it was hard to imagine.
The Killer Hamsters had gone out into the woods as Lincoln looked at himself in his deer attire; "I feel like my dignity going down dressed like this... I can only imagine what everyone I know back in Royal Woods must think seeing me dressed like this..." Lincoln groaned.
The family were torn into laughing at Lincoln dressed like a deer or finding him adorable over being dressed like that except for Lucy who just sighed at her older brother's discomfort in the stupid disguise.
"I bet that I have the people at my school watching and looking at the goth loner dressed like a deer." Gwen told Lincoln assuringly going to give him a pat on the back but their heads ended up getting too close and their antlers ended up getting stuck together.
Snickered at the discomfort at this; "I kind of relate to Gwen as something like that would totally kill my darkness." Lucy said relating to Gwen and Lincoln on this matter.
"We are stuck... What does it mean when deer have their antlers stuck like this?" Lincoln ended up shouting as they tried to entangle it.
"Hey; well this means that you two can stick together and go away and mate..." Cody grinned as their faces ended up becoming red.
"Did he really just say that..." Luan asked and bursted into laughter along with the older sisters as the parents didn't look amused as the younger sisters besides Lisa looked confused.
"Be fortunate that I can't get close enough to kick you!" Gwen told him scornfully as Cody ran away scared.
"Don't worry Lincoln bro; you two will be safe with me guarding you!" Ezekiel told him getting in front of them protectively.
"Lincoln is toast with him as his guard..." Lynn Jr sighed.
"I am supposed to be assured? The only things I heard about you catching in a hunt so far are people which included us, Cody, Owen and your mother!" Gwen reminded him in a rant.
"Well Ezekiel has a sound strategy; keeping our deer together and having a hunter protect them from if the Screaming Beavers found us." Courtney said as Ezekiel grinned at having an idea praised. "I shall stay here and guard our deer here; Ezekiel you actually showed your stuff catching us all that fish in the last challenge so you might be sound as a hunter! You go out!" Courtney told him and Ezekiel looked reluctant.
"I kind of fear Ezekiel being out and about like this..." Rita said as they hoped that he didn't get into too much trouble that would cost their team.
Ezekiel then ended up going away as Courtney looked around and realised something "wait a minute... I know that Cody ran off but where are Katie and Sadie?"
Katie and Sadie are in the confessional talking about how they are best female friends for life and even got the chicken pox together.
Definitely sounded like they are even closer than Lincoln and Clyde.
"Katie; I thought that you said that the hiding spot that you found in the forest was nearby but we have been walking for a while... You don't know where we are; do you?" Sadie asked as Katie and Sadie were walking together.
"No but have you noticed that all trees like look the same?" Katie asked as Sadie groaned.
"They do; don't they!" Leni said out loud as they rolled their eyes at this.
"I knew that I shouldn't have listened to you!" Sadie said as Katie glared at her; "You're not like the best with directions and not like smart!" Sadie continued on.
"What? At least I know how to drive! If it wasn't for me you would have to walk or take the bus to the mall!" Katie yelled as Sadie glared at her.
"Trip to the beach ring a bell? You drove my mum's car into a snack shack! If it wasn't for me you wouldn't know where the mall is!" Sadie yelled as they continued to argue.
"Ouch... They are so close and it's no good to have close friends like this..." Leni muttered and they nodded with each siblings knowing that it wasn't pretty to argue like that with their friends.
The Screaming Beavers were together as Lightning was still unhappy in his deer attire; "Look at me; this is going to hurt my brand! What team is going to sign me now after I have been on TV looking like this?" Lightning groaned as DJ looked his way.
They all snickered at Lightning for this but Lynn Jr could understand his feelings about this.
"Well maybe there's a college team where the mascot is a deer?" DJ asked trying to lighten the mood as Lightning glared at his way with the speaker had Chris' voice telling them that hunting season was on.
"Shush; be very very quiet... I am hunting deer...ah uh... Wow, it's really hard to sound like Elmer Fudd..." Zoey said going out with her paintball gun as DJ went out as Dawn sighed as she went out with her gun.
"Never thought about it but it would be hard trying to imitate his talking..." Lynn Sr said in realisation.
"Uh those old cartoons..." groaned Lana and Lola who were not exactly impressed with them.
"All I am saying is that I am supposed to be a deer! I mean why couldn't Lightning be a hunter and me a deer? He wasn't happy being one and I wasn't thrilled to have the gun and I would be more at home with the antlers and the tail." Dawn said in the confessional.
"I hear ya Dawn!" Lana said nodding and they wondered how Dawn would handle having to be a hunter in the challenge.
"This is the most mortifying moment of my life..." Gwen groaned with her antler still stuck with Lincoln with Courtney standing guard.
"For me personally... At best it ranks about maybe 17th..." Lincoln said as he got looks from Gwen and Courtney. "You live my life and what has happened to me and what life is like having 10 sisters..." Lincoln explained.
"Well... He's not wrong..." Lily had to admit as the family had an awkward silence.
"You know that you can help us out of here Courtney?" Lincoln asked as Courtney just stood there.
"I have to stay on guard and I can't let it down for even a second for if a beaver hunter comes here. You will need someone with experience being a..." Courtney said as Lincoln and Gwen groaned.
"Being a CIT." Lincoln and Gwen finished at once as they looked and laughed together as Courtney sighed.
They laughed; "How much has Courtney talked about being a CIT for them to be utter sick of it..." Luna pointed out.
Courtney then put out her arm to shield them as soon from the bushes there was DJ sending out paint darts and getting Lincoln on the arm as they tried to move but Courtney went out and started firing at DJ's way to scare him off.
"Wait... No... I don't think that this is allowed... I'm a hunter..." DJ complained only to be running away screaming in terror as Courtney smirked at his direction and then to Lincoln and Gwen's faces which were in awe.
"Okay maybe at least some of Courtney's boasting is warranted..." Gwen admitted in the confessional.
Their eyes widened and they jaws were wide open and they gad to agree with it; even Lynn Jr was beyond impressed.
Lightning was just sitting down by a tree looking bored as there was Lindsay; "You know Lightning; I could do with a big strong athlete to protect me if a scary hunter comes and find us now that Tyler is gone..." Lindsay asked Lightning with a sweet smile but Lightning just pushed him back.
"Oh great; it would have just been wishful thinking to just assume that we could have an episode without her using people..." groaned Luan as she was joined by everyone else in the groaning.
"Lightning doesn't care for airhead girl and besides not like any of the Hamsters' hunters are something to be worried... about..." Lightning said as jumping down from the trees was Ezekiel making them blink and they noticed the crazed look in his eye and began running away as he then began firing paintballs at them both.
"At least Lightning isn't falling for it!" sighed Lynn Jr with relief as the others but then they blinked at seeing Ezekiel appear and do his stuff. "Wow... So he does have hunting skills..." Lynn Jr forced herself to admit.
Zoey was looking through the bushes being stealthy but stopped and looked confused as there was Katie and Sadie continuing to argue with eachother. "...You are just jealous that I am prettier than you!" Katie yelled at Sadie and turned around with her arms folded as Sadie was in shock. "Yeah; everyone knows that! Katie said as Sadie angrily started firing her with the paintgun. Katie angrily grabbed it from her and began firing at her as it continued with the scruffle.
"...It had gotten that bad..." muttered Luan shocked.
"This will be working against their team..." Lily said in disbelief as they took this in.
Zoey blinked but just shrugged as she then leapt in and began firing at them both.
Cody was trying to find somewhere to hide and found blueberries but then noticed a bear coming his way and looked afraid.
Their eyes widened and they got ready to look away if it becomes that Cody will turn out like Tyler did.
"Malcolm stop that right now! You already were being cruel to Tyler; attacking him like that when there was no need! Say you are sorry now you big bully!" shouted a voice and there was Dawn coming up to the bear looking sternly as the bear looked down and grumbled something and left with Dawn looking confused.
"...Just wow..." Lana said knowing that she could never do what Dawn had just did.
"Just like talking to the bear that scared Lincoln and Gwen away..." Luna pointed out remembering that time.
"Go Dawn and continue being best girl!" cheered Leni happily.
"Well... He is not going to bother you anymore Cody..." Dawn said managing to help Cody up as he was in awe.
"Wow Dawn... I am in shock... I thought for a second I was going to be like Tyler there... Funny how a hunter on the other team saved me when I am a deer..." Cody said gratefully as Dawn smiled. She then looked to her gun and hesitatingly fired at Cody and then ended up continuing to fire at him as she started chasing after him giggling with Cody screaming in terror. Funny enough more terror than when he was about to be targeted by Malcolm the bear.
"You know; this actually really is fun!" Dawn giggled to herself.
"Wow... So she got into it after all..." laughed Lily as they couldn't help but be amused by this.
"You do remember that Dawn is on the opposing team and Cody is Lincoln's teammate right?" Lynn Jr reminded everyone but it had little effect.
"...They say that it's the nice ones that you have to worry about and they were right..." Cody muttered in shock covered in paint in the confessional holding his legs.
"That's true..." Luna spoke as some looked Leni's way but shook their heads at the thought.
"Alright campers; times up! Come and tally up the points!" Chris said through the speakers as the campers soon ended up coming to the campfire pit. The Screaming Beavers blinked as they saw that Katie and Sadie were covered in blue and orange paint and Ezekiel saw that the paint covered Lightning was giving him an evil look and so he looked sheepish in response.
Some laughed at this display.
"That was the worst fight I was ever in... I am sorry Sadie for saying that I was prettier than you!" cried Katie embracing Sadie.
"I am sorry that I called you an idiot!" Sadie cried embracing her back.
"At least they made up..." smiled Leni as it looked like that they managed to get over their fight.
"That's cute and all but they are both covered in both paint... Who found them..." DJ wondered as Zoey smiled his way and stood up to take a bow.
"You were right Zoey; that was fun!" Dawn said giving a friendly wave to Cody who was scared to even face her.
More laughed at this.
"Alright campers; I see the deer are mostly covered in paint but while Lincoln and Gwen barely have any... I have to give it to the Screaming Beavers as at least they didn't get covered in their own paint or turned on their own team!" Chris said as the Hamsters looked disappointed and the Beavers all were excited.
"Things once again make sense in Lightning's world!" Lightning cheered as Katie and Sadie looked nervous as they got their teammates to look their way.
"Drat... Because of those two idiots; Lincoln's team lost!" thundered Lynn Jr as the rest looked dissapointed.
"At least Lincoln isn't up for elimination this time..." Lily said and they could take comfort in that.
"Yeah... Someone to vote off and it's just a hard question of which one?" Lincoln sighed in the confessional.
"Good point son; not like that they could vote them both off and even if they could... Would they disadvantage their team like that by kicking two people out?" Lynn Sr pointed out.
At the pit later at night the Killer Hamsters were seated with Katie and Sadie nervously holding onto eachother; "The votes have been cast and the camper that doesn't receive a marshmallow must immediately walk the Dock of Shame, board the Boat of Losers and they can't come back ever! So... Lincoln, Gwen, Courtney, Ezekiel, Cody..." Chris said tossing them the marshmallows with Katie and Sadie dreading it.
"The final marshmallow goes to... Sadie!" Chris said as Sadie missed catching it.
"Didn't know which one it would be..." Lola said shaking her head.
"No! I can't do this! I have never been anywhere without her! I will die if we are not together!" cried Sadie with their teammates looking at them in sadness and pity.
"Sadie; listen to me... You can do this; you are strong, beautiful and smarter than me and the funnest girl I know! Do it for both of us!" Katie assured her.
At the Dock of Shame; Sadie was kneeling down holding onto Katie's hand as she was on the Boat of Losers and started crying after her until the Boat started going off with them both shouting how much that they miss eachother.
They sighed sadly at the display; would be hard for friends in a competition to have to see one of them eliminated.
At the Screaming Beavers' cabin the teammates were getting ready for bed; "You have to admit that the challenge was more fun than what you thought it would be just like I said! I heard what you said... Dawn?" Zoey told Dawn who had her head down and jumped.
"Sorry Zoey... It's just that I found Cody after Malcolm was trying to get to him like he had done to Tyler... He mumbled an apology but said that he found Tyler and before he noticed that Malcolm was there; he said that he had to warn me, Gwen and Lincoln about Lindsay..." Dawn said as Zoey blinked.
"How could that be... People can't communicate with bears and yet that was what Tyler was going to do..." Lisa muttered trying to rationalise it in her head.
"Come on Zoey; believe Dawn..." pleaded Luan despite most knowing that it would most likely be futile.
"Come on Dawn; are you actually going to listen to the bear that attacked Tyler like that and was going to do the same to Cody? You said it yourself that he was a bully. You are just being paranoid about sweet old less than smart Lindsay. It's just stretching that's just going to give you a headache if you persist in it." Zoey whispered to Dawn assuringly as she still didn't look convinced.
They all groaned at this.
"Tell you what; I will keep an eye out on her as well and if you want something to take your mind off this suspicion... Could you imagine if you were a deer and Lincoln saw you in your fluffy tail and and antlers?" Zoey asked smirking as Dawn was now red in the cheeks.
"Not in the mood to even enjoy this... Ahh!" cried Leni as that was the end of another episode.
"Hopefully Zoey can wise up soon along with the others!" Lola said becoming annoyed with Zoey over this.
"Hope that when she does realise this then Lindsay can't have something happen to her..." Lynn Jr muttered as she got looks.
"Please don't jinx it Lynn like you have done before on the show!" Luna told her as they took in what happened this episode.
"Time to call Lori and the Casagrandes for a video chat and see what they all think of this episode?" Rita suggested and they nodded at the idea; be something to take their mind off the issue with Lindsay.
