A change of circumstances as we are in Royal Woods at the Loud House for the adults of the Casagrande family were too busy at the moment to be able to watch Total Drama Island with the Louds and so it was decided that the Louds would watch it at home and the Casagrandes would watch it as a family the next day as it was recorded. A dissapointing scenario but it was hard for the adults to keep sorting out their schedules to get them to watch together and this time; things just happened.
Still the Loud siblings were all over to watch it together with Albert and Myrtle and Bobby had arrived with Lori; promising to keep quiet about what happened in the episode to his family until they watched it together but hopefully they will be able to talk about it afterwards.
There was someone else to watch it with them as Luna's girlfriend Sam came over to join them and was warmly welcomed by the family; "Been enjoying the show and Lincoln has been rocking this show and Dawn was definitely my choice to be with him... As long as there are no bull privates or dolphin meat being eaten then I am golden!" Sam told them as they were setting thigns up at the TV to watch it together.
"I am sure that things will be fine Sam; Lincoln and his crew just has to convince Zoey to be her old self again and things will be alright. Especially with Lindsay finally gone!" Luna told her and Sam grinned as they high fived eachother and everyone got into their places as the show was starting.
""Last time on Total Drama Island." Chris said as it showed clips of the previous episode. "Lincoln and Courtney returned from their spa resort trip and Lincoln proceeded to disturb me by showing off his victory dance. Then must about all of the campers were disgusted as they had to go through my 9 course Brunch of Disgustingness and Zoey pretty much took it on no problem and was the winner of invincibility and a branding spanking new trailer to take home after the competition. The campers all showed how rude they were and lack of sense of drama as they wouldn't let me go through my campfire ceremony and Lindsay was finally eliminated. However 4 campers decided that they liked Zoey better before she became all commando and formed an alliance to 'save' her. Will they 'save' Zoey? Who is out of here tonight? How much do I deserve in my bonus? Find out tonight in... Total... Drama... Island!"
They giggled at the reminder of Lincoln's dance and then looked away in disgust at the reminder of the Brunch.

This time there was Sam there to join in the singing along with the theme song.
It was the next morning and in the mess hall the 4 members of the new Save-Zoey Alliance looked at eachother as they held their plates and sat themselves with Zoey; they held their breaths getting themselves ready for this intervention. "So good morning Zoey... Listen; we kind of need to talk..." Gwen hesitatingly said as Zoey looked up from her plate and looked at them stoically making them gulp.
"Really hard to believe this is the same girl from the start of the show..." Sam said as they all nodded at once.
"Are they seriously only now having a talk with her after 3 days?" Lori questioned and they did look perplexed as they remembered the time between challenges.
"Kind of cool how you toughen it up to take on Lindsay and all but..." Ezekiel started but lost his words as he gulped feeling afraid of the look on Zoey's face.
"Lindsay's gone now so you think you can cool it down with the whole 'soldier' thing now..." Lincoln asked as he lost his words as Zoey looked at him with a glare.
"Not going to be as easy at that Link..." Lynn Jr muttered as Zoey's look would scare even her and Lori if they had that directed at them.
"Do you want me to wimpen out so it would be easier for you to get me kicked out of the competition? If that's the case then forget it because I am in it to win it!" Zoey retorted stomping the ground with her foot and slamming her fist down on the table making them jump as Dawn put a hand on her shoulder.
"I am all for being in it to win it but she is just terrifying..." Lynn Jr gulped along with the rest and Lola had to agree; being the most competitive next to Lynn in her own area of expertise.
"Wonder what her parents are thinking with how much their girl has changed..." Rita brought up holding her husband's hand.
"No Zoey; we are worried about you, that's all! Your new persona is kind of scaring you and we prefer the nice, supportive Zoey who wanted to make friends here and your Aura..." Dawn tried to assure her but then there was Chris coming up to the two tables.
Leni and Lily nodded sadly at this.
"You want something Chris? We still have 2 days until the next challenge." Courtney asked raising an eyebrow as they all looked at him and then he started laughing which wasn't a good sign.
"So... This is taking place the day after the last challenge?" Albert said as they all realised what was going on and it didn't look good.
"Not a good sign..." Luan muttered.
"I am sensing a dark evil aura..." Dawn muttered as Chris continued laughing.
"Not anymore; we got so little time left so... From now on challenges are everyday!" Chris explained making their eyes widening.
They groaned as they realised this must make things harder for them; "Before you say anything Lynn; not everyone here could handle challenges everyday..." Lana said as Lynn Jr just sighed.
"Well not a lot of time for their alliance to do their goal now..." Lily sighed and they shook their heads.
"What? But I take an extra lap in the morning of challenges to get myself more prepared; I am one down now so I have to go..." Lightning remarked getting to his feet but Chris put up a hand.
"Not... One... Word..." warned Lynn Jr with her arms folded as her family stayed silence.
"So... Has she been like this a lot whenever Lightning is on screen like she is looking in the mirror?" Sam asked and there was light snickering from the Loud siblings including Luna.
"Well... Best not to answer that verbally..." Myrtle answered for her but the reactions to her question pretty much gave Sam her answer.
"No can do Lightning; the next challenge known as the Wheel of Misfortune is in 5 so hurry with your breakfast and make your way to the theatre." Chris told them as he then left with them to deal with it.
"I hate the sound of that considering everything that the contestants have all gone through already..." Lynn Sr muttered and they all groaned.
"Rats... I was so sure that we would have time to get Zoey to calm down before the next challenge..." Lincoln muttered as they started getting up.
"Still have faith in you all..." Albert said softly as they were preparing for what this challenge would bring.
"We will think of something Lincoln; we will find a way to use our more limited time to save Zoey... I swear on the Earth Mother herself..." Dawn told her boyfriend looking determined.
They smiled at Dawn's optimism.
"Unless you get out first... Not going to lie; the new Zoey is kind of someone to watch out for with how she took on that Brunch no problem..." Courtney warned them with a frown making their eyes widen.
"Not that your wrong Courtney but still..." groaned Lori as they shook their heads at the CIT breaking the moment.
At the theatre the campers were at their seats as they saw Chris with the Wheel of Misfortune and Chef in a hockey's mask. "Here is the deal; you are all going to take turns with the Wheel of Misfortune and whether it lands will determine what type of torture you will have to endure for 10 seconds. You chicken out and you're out; last one standing wins invincibility and this trailer to take home after the end of the competition!" Chris said and showed off the admittingly nice looking trailer.
"A decent looking trailer but something tell me that it's nowhere near worth what they are probably going to have to endure..." Lynn Sr said and they all nodded. "Still... Hope Lincoln wins and we could use that..." Lynn Sr pondered.
"So Zoey; as yesterday's winner you will go first..." Chris said as he started spinning the wheel and it went to land. "Oh... Bears boxed in... You will have to stay 10 seconds in this wooden box with Malcolm the bear." Chris remarked as their eyes widened and Chef brought in a huge wooden box.
"Seriously? Isn't he the bully big brother bear? The one that Lincoln actually kicked and I was sure that I was down 1 future brother in law?" Sam asked as they all nodded while groaning.
"Wait? What was that last part Sam?" Luna asked as Sam's eyes widened and looked away to laughs from the siblings.
"You can't make Zoey do this..." Dawn shouted as Zoey nonchalantly got up and made her way through the door and the timer went in as they gulped.
"It's going to be Tyler; all over again..." Gwen muttered as they covered their eyes and the 10 second timer went off after some loud fights and animal screams.
They were all covering their eyes but at the sounds they uncovered them in shock.
Then Zoey got out looking the same and they saw Malcolm drag himself out out looking all beat up with patches of fur missing as they all were stunned and Dawn was covering her mouth with her hands.
"..."
"Just what was her training to make her like that..." Lily asked as they were all shocked as even the toughest among them and Lana and Sam who were the best with animals could hope to do anything like that.
"Zoey; you didn't bellyache so you will choose who goes next." Chris said as Zoey looked at them closely before going to his chair.
"Lightning. I like him the least." Zoey said simply as Lightning's eyes widened as he got up.
"Hmm... She specifically said liking him the least..." pondered Luna and they realised an implication of that.
"Really... Well bring it on Chris... I can do anything..." Lightning said confidently as Chris spun the wheel.
"I wouldn't act like that considering the previous challenge..." Lynn Jr had to admit and no one could fault her for that.
"Oh... Can you handle being buried alive for 10 seconds?" Chris asked as Lightning's eyes widened.
Their eyes widened and their jaws dropped except for Lucy who grinned in jealousy.
"Okay; I don't envy Lightning one bit... Being buried alive is my biggest fear, if I had to do that..." Gwen shuddered in the confessional.
"What... Gwen I though that we were alike..." muttered Lucy in disappointment.
"I am certain that most people; goths or not would not like to be buried alive..." Bobby pointed out and no one disagreed with him about that except for Lucy.
They watched as on the grass Chef had Lightning buried and watched as the timer went down. 10 seconds later Chris dug up Lightning who spat out dirt while covered in it as he gave a thumbs up, but not before screaming about dirt in his ears.
Lucy shook his head about how he handled that.
"Okay Ezekiel... Oh; you have to put your hand in a wasp's nest for 10 seconds!" Chris said as Ezekiel gulped as he got his hand out as using a pole Chef put out a wasp's nest and put his hand in for the timer. He kept yelling as he was being stung as the contestants looked away but served his 10 seconds.
"Kind of amazing how he has lasted this long... Lincoln talking him under his wing must have done him wonders..." Sam pointed out remembering how she reacted to seeing how sexist he was in the first episode.
"For however long he lasts; his place will be impressive to be sure." Lisa stated and they nodded with her.
"Hey... Can you imagine if he actually wins..." Luan joked as they thought about it and laughed shaking their heads.
"We brought that joke up in the 3rd episode I think it was; how certain he was that he and Lincoln would make it to the final 2... Said I would eat Sergio the parrot's feathers if he did end up winning..." Lynn Jr laughed and they calmed down.
"How exactly did they expect us teens to survive all this?" cried Lincoln in the confessional.
"No kidding..." Lori muttered and they nodded with the Loud son's word.
Lincoln was put into a huge tank filled with electric eels and screamed as he was stung and got out after serving one more second than his time and was embraced and checked on by his girlfriends.
There were screaming and shocked faces at that; the Loud parents and Albert and Myrtle were almost freaking out. "Is he alright..."Leni demanded wiping away tears.
"He agreed to do that... He is gonna get it..." thundered Lori angry at her brother for worrying them all like this by doing that stupid challenge and her husband spoke up.
"Lisa... Tell me... No way is that covered in the contract!" Bobby demanded of Lisa and she sighed looking away.
"Okay... That thing should have really been read closely before Lincoln signed that stupid thing!" Sam shouted out and they all agreed with her.
"Still Lincoln got 2 cool girlfriends out of this show..." Luna brought up to Sam and they had to begrudgingly agree with that point.
"At least Lincoln is done after this stupid season..." Sam muttered as Lisa sighed.
"As long as he wasn't chosen for the confirmed second season that they are accepting auditions for and that includes another teen from the US. Taking part in a 2nd season is mandatory if they end up qualifying..." Lisa explained to her and there were groans at the reminder.
"Why would anyone want to sign up for another season if they watch this first one?" Lori asked bewildered and it was a good question. It was practically asking for whatever comes their way...
Gwen had to spend 10 seconds having her nose hairs forcibly picked by Chef but served her time.
They cringed but nothing too bad considering what they just saw Lincoln go through.
Courtney yelled as she was being hit by grumpy snapping turtles sent her way by Chef and his hockey stick as she was in front of a goal. She served her time and there was Dawn checking on the turtles to make sure that they were okay.
They cringed especially Lana and Sam the animal lovers.
Dawn was sitting in a chair humming happily as she was wearing headphones with her eyes closed; "Come on Dawn, you served your 10 seconds and it has been a minute and a half..." Chris told her glaring as Chef grabbed the headphones in as Dawn wrestled it back.
"Please; at least let me finish the song..." Dawn pleaded.
"What kind of misfortune is that?" Luan asked as they looked confused.
"That 'torture' was listening to new age music which is terrible and only the biggest weirdos like that junk... I knew we had that ready for the Wheel of Misfortune when we got the campers all sorted but I am going to be honest... When we put in that hippie chick; I thought that she would be an early elimination with her teammates being too creeped out by her to put up with her for long and I didn't expect her to last... I certainly didn't expect her to end up with that 'torture'." Chris explained in the confessional with his arms folded and sighed.
They laughed at this; "Well I am in agreement kind of... New age music isn't my thing..." Luna said and Sam nodded with her girlfriend.
Ezekiel was screaming as he was wearing a vest made out of bees and ended up didn't last his 10 seconds.
"Homeschool is out..." Luan brought up.
Gwen looked at a bowl of animal spit she was to put her hair in but backed out.
Leni and Lori nodded with Gwen backing out but Lana didn't think that it looked that bad.
Lincoln had a towel dipped in swamp water over his head but ended up throwing it off at 8 seconds.
"Seriously... I am getting him the best shampoo ever for when he gets home." Leni said shaking her head as they all cringed with Lincoln having that on his head.
There was a huge pool of jelly that Courtney was supposed to spend her 10 seconds in but couldn't even get in.
They were shocked that it was that which Courtney decided to back out of.
Lightning had his mouth full but ended up spitting out the spiked tennis balls he was supposed to keep in his mouth for 10 seconds.
Looked painful.
Zoey actually yawned as she had her arms covered in leeches as the contestants were open mouthed.
They were just speechless about Zoey at this point.
"Dawn... This is a rare endangered wooly beaver native to Boney Island; you are to hug it for 10 seconds..." Chris muttered reading off as their eyes widened as they saw the scary looking giant beaver with the eliminated campers in pillory.
"I don't know; he looks friendly..." Sam said with Lana nodding with her and they blinked.
"Dawn; I know that you are the animal girl but I don't think that even you..." Gwen muttered but Dawn happily ran to it and embraced it for the 10 seconds and even patted it's head before going to her seat as they took this in.
Most of the eyes widened at this.
"My girlfriends are amazing..." Lincoln muttered as Gwen managed to giggle as Dawn shot him a smile.
"Going to bond with my bro for being with amazing cool animal lovers..." Luna laughed as Sam smiled with her with the parents and grandparents smiling at the display.
"Okay Dawn, Zoey... A tiebreaking challenge where you both must endure this torture until someone backs out." Chris said as he spun the Wheel of Misfortune one last time and laughed evilly as they all gulped.
Same did the family and Sam.
He then showed them a large tank filled with a brown covered liquid; "We have been collecting water from the septic tank since you all have arrived; you have to be emerged in here until..." Chris explained as they all gulped but Dawn shook her head.
"...That just might be the worst challenge yet..." Lori said as they were all frozen at hearing that and the disgusting tank.
"I can't do it! Zoey you win! Hope you enjoy the trailer..." Dawn screamed out as Chris allowed the campers to get out of the pillory. Lincoln checked on Dawn as she smiled at them.
"No one blames you Dawn but we could have used that trailer..." Lynn Sr muttered remembering about the trailer and wondering if Lincoln continued and got to the final challenge... No; he wouldn't want his son to go through THAT.
"Hey nice performance there Zoey... But heads up... Cool that you are able to take on these twisted challenges but a lot of people here prefer the old you and do you want to lose the friends that you made here?" Gwen asked going up to Zoey with a smile and left but Zoey looked on and then to Dawn and sighed before resuming her stoic face.
They noticed that and wondered if that could be a hint that Zoey could be like her old self again.
"I don't care if this ended up becoming anticlimactic; I have seen how much Owen had eaten before he was eliminated and the sounds coming from the bathroom when he was in there and the smell... It was like everything I thought that pollution smelled like mixed into one..." Dawn defended herself in the confessional.
"I am imagining that stench and I despite it..." Lola groaned and they all were disgusted as well except for Lana.
At the campfire pit there were the 7 contestants with all but Ezekiel and Lightning with marshmallows; "The final marshmallow goes to... Ezekiel!" Chris said tossing Ezekiel his marshmallow as Lighting put his head down as they were perplexed by how the confident competitive athlete was taking this.
"Lightning is out so does that mean the comparisons are gonna stop?" Lynn Jr asked and they just stared at her.
"Oh my your aura... You are afraid of how disappointed your father will be..." Dawn muttered going to put her hand on his shoulder but Lightning put his head up high and got up.
Their eyes widened about this and wondered...
"Will make it up to him by getting another sports trophy at school... But I get it; you had a chance to vote out the strongest opponent and you took it... Sound strategy... I can respect that. Still Lightning made it this far and be warned if you are to compete against me some other time. Plus you white haired American" Lightning said as he got up and pointed to Lincoln who was shocked. "my eternal rival from the two of us last standing in the food fight... Thou we will not make it to the final 2 as I hoped; you were a most worthy foe and I hope to settle our historic rivalry some other point. Until destiny brings our paths to cross again." Lightning said and pounded his chest as a symbol of respect as Lincoln looked confused but did the same as Lightning headed to the Dock of Shame.
"Definitely took this defeat better than..." Lori brought up as Lynn Jr glared at her and the siblings stayed silent even if they silently agreed with Lori.
"Plus still thinking that Lincoln is his main rival..." spoke Albert.
"I completely forgot about him declaring Lincoln his rival..." Gwen told the others.
"Honestly when deciding who to vote off; I didn't want any of our alliance to leave and so it was between Lightning and Courtney and when I started to wonder, it was an easy choice. Courtney and I really worked well together in that race and bonded well during the trip. Plus in that same race; I remembered how Lightning treated Gwen when she had to be his partner. I realised that I should pay him back for his treatment of one of my girlfriends!" Lincoln said in the confessional.
They nodded at Lincoln's reasoning; payback for treating a girlfriend of his.
"Lightning was one of the big threats to watch out for remaining besides Zoey and if their Save-Zoey Alliance has a chance of getting Zoey to back down from being the soldier type who has been dominating these challenges then can I really risk breaking anyone off from that?" Courtney said in the confessional.
"Well voting off the best athlete is a sound strategy..." Lisa commented and they nodded and Lynn Jr realised that if she was in a contest like this; then she would better be winning all the solo challenges or else she be voted off as a threat.
"See you in the morning Zoey and hope we can talk soon..." Dawn told Zoey as she was entering the trailer and Zoey just gave her a look as Dawn sighed. Zoey looked through the window and spotted Lincoln being given goodnight kisses from his girlfriends before they went to their cabins. Zoey gave a small smile and sighed.
They smiled as well and then noticed Zoey's look.
"Well I did say in my audition tape that my biggest fear was being voted off by a jock; no chance of that happening now." Zoey smirked in the confessional but sighed.
"Well the old Zoey seems to still be in there and she could be back to her normal self in no time..." Leni smiled as they went through that.
"Well that was... Terrifying... Seeing my son electrocuted and that gross final challenge..." Rita muttered.
"I am now wondering if Lincoln gets chosen for Season 2... What newbies could be joining him?" Sam asked and they thought about it.
"What kind of people would watch this show and decide that they actually wanted to take part in the next season?" Lori asked perplexed and they didn't even want to think about it...
Over in Canada; "Would get her out of the house for the time being and her parole officer allowed it to go through if she gets chosen..." muttered a terrified mother to her husband as they gulped going to their living room.
"If only her friend from juvie was free to spend time with her but to think that that our daughter actually got parole and not her..." the father muttered.
"Well she didn't bite the judge like Izzy did..." the mother stated as they saw their daughter a gothic girl with a scary smile and hair in pigtails watching TV.
"This episode of Total Drama Island is my favourite so far! Hello Mum and Dad!" the girl said and then looked towards them with that terrifying smile.
"Lauren dear... We sent your audition tape through and don't be disappointed if you don't get chosen..." the father told the girl flashing a fake smile with his wife.
"I won't be; would be a shame that I miss out on a chance to make new friends and get to meet my favourite people from the show but... It just means that I get to spend more time with you at home!" Lauren replied and this chilled them to their bones.
