Lincoln went with Gwen to Dawn's room at the hotel and he happily returned the embrace coming his way from Dawn; "Just in time Lincoln; I am about to call my family and I get to introduce you to them!" Dawn squealed and let him go as Lincoln looked to the set up computer.

"Can't wait to hear from your family as well Dawn; not sure of this call can beat finding out that one of my older sisters got grounded despite having moving out after trying to feed my youngest of my older sisters feathers but you never know." Lincoln answered and Dawn giggled as Gwen just didn't know how to react to that. Dawn had the call started and soon it was picked up and Lincoln then noticed the older couple who looked to be really new age as well as Carrie.

"No way! You have Lincoln himself with you Dawn! I got so many things that I want to say to you that I don't know where to start!" Carrie squealed in excitement as she noticed Lincoln and he waved to her.

"Mum, dad and Carrie this is Lincoln and these are my parents and sister Carrie! Gwen is here with us as well!" Dawn introduced them as Gwen joined in the waving as well.

"Super stoked to finally to get to see you both; had nothing against Gwen being with Lincoln as well but we were rooting for our Dawn to be with her dream man. Finding out that you were her first kiss when we took that vaycay to the US!" Dawn's dad stated as Lincoln nodded.

"Yeah; was certainly a shock and I never expected to see Dawn again and I think that my family will let me have it on my next call to them because I had never told them as I said on the show..." Lincoln replied looking nervous to which Gwen and Dawn giggled.

"Well Dawn had told us and I remember having to comfort her after finding out that she had been crying after being mocked by the kids but later finding out that she and you made up and she had her first kiss... I had been preying for the day you both could reunite and in the beginning of that episode where it was revealed, I was beyond excited when I realised what was going on and I thought that you looked familiar when I first saw you on the show..." Carrie excitedly said.

"Yes Dawn got with her dream man after being separated for 8 years and yet you see yours' everyday and yet have said nothing..." Dawn's mum said and Carrie looked embarrassed and there was a shout from the other end of the call as Lincoln and Gwen looked curious.

"Sorry Carrie and co for being late; Shelley didn't like the flowers that I got her and she made me wait outside her front door for half an hour before she let me have my car keys back." called a male voice and Lincoln and Gwen noticed Dawn looked angry and so did Carrie but then Devin made himself known as Carrie looked normal.

Dawn whispered to Lincoln and Gwen to not bring up Shelley as Carrie then said "We are talking to Dawn on the video call Devin and you are in luck because she has guests..." Devin looked at the screen and looked excited; "Lincoln Gwen... This is Devin; my best friend since forever!" Carrie introduced as Devin waved to them.

"This is amazing! Carrie has been squealing about Dawn being reunited with her first kiss and that shout out in that episode where you got to meet Don and take part in an episode themed around the show... You have no idea how jealous we are because we have both been the biggest fans of the Ridonculous Race since forever! We have our video blog and we looked at all the episodes and we had plenty to say on that!" Devin said as they smiled at him.

"Nice to see you Devin and that was cool being in that episode as well; especially the sauerkraut!" Lincoln replied and sighed happily even as Dawn and Gwen shook their heads but then Devin and Dawn's family looked weirded out.

"Yeah I remember; big tip Lincoln but... I would advise against trying it before a date or kissing both your girlfriends. I mean Shelley would kill me if she smelled that stuff on my breath." Devin told him and Lincoln shook his head at the snickers coming their way but it stopped from Dawn and her family as Shelley was brought up.

Soon it was done and they said goodbye to eachother; "So Shelley; is she like Devin's girlfriend?" Gwen decided to ask and Lincoln and her became tense as Dawn's face hardened.

"An undeserving one to such a nice guy; she has the most unpleasant aura that I have ever read and it pains me and Carrie how much Devin just accepts all the mistreatment that comes his way from her!" Dawn said seriously which kind of freaked them out.

"Just wow... When I was a kid and my oldest sister Lori and her husband Bobby were daring as teens during that time; I thought that Bobby puts up a little too much from Lori but even when she was at her worst... I don't think that she was ever as bad as Shelley sounds to be..." Lincoln muttered as Dawn sighed reading his aura. "So it sounds like from how your parents talked and how Carrie acted but she has a thing for Devin?" Lincoln asked as Dawn sighed sadly.

"In love with him ever since she could remember and I can't describe how torturous it has been with Carrie unable to tell him how she feels and him stuck with the worst girlfriend imaginable!" Dawn muttered shaking her head as Lincoln and Gwen felt sorry for the guy.

"Well hope he comes to his senses and we could get a chance to properly meet them one day." Lincoln said with Gwen nodding and Dawn smiling at the idea.

Hmm... Carrie and Devin being brought up again and could it be related to plans I have for after Total Drama Action is done in the fic verse and I have had them ever since that Ridonculous Race themed chapter? Well next chapter and it's the beginning of a new season!
