Edited the first confessional in the last chapter as I foudn it a little stoo similar to one Courtney had in the chapter that this is the reaction to.
Royal Woods and in the Loud House again and the Loud family and guests were getting ready to support Lincoln in a new episode of Total Drama Action; however what they were also discussing about how Luna and Sam put in their acceptance for a spot in the next season of the Ridonculous Race and the same for Rita and Lola.
"This is going to be great! I just know that we are going to do much better than we did in the Astonishing Quest those years ago!" Luna grinned sharing a high five with her girlfriend.
"Hope you two don't make any plans for the money as I plan to win and become famous with all sorts of talk shows begging to interview me..." gloated Lola only tog et a look from Rita. "Win with Mum I meant off course..." Lola said sheepishly as there were snickers.
"Well that could mean that next year we will be watching that show to support you both instead of Lincoln this time." Luan said only for Albert to cough.
"If you remember Luan; Luna and Sam did say that they were interested in getting a spot for Lincoln and a partner." Albert reminded them all.
"At this rate; Lincoln's thing is going to be the that he's the reality TV contest star of the family!" snickered Lori along with some of the sisters.
"He also has his comics, video games and magic hobbies... They don't make him more well known than your hobbies do girls but please don't put him down for it..." Rita lightly scolded them as they sighed.
"I bet that the studio will want to keep a possible spot for him open considering how popular he has become on TD..." sighed Ronne Anne with a faint reminder of him voting against Sid.
"Yes; our Linky! How do you think that he will find it coming home famous?" Leni asked and they found the thought amusing. Then came the start of the episode.
"Last time on Total Drama Action... Lauren caught onto her team's strategy of trying to lose on purpose to vote her off as it was the time of the western movie challenge! The Grips managed to beat the Gaffers in terms of having their members man the horse instead of falling painfully to the ground and we got hours worth of footage of the aftermath of Lauren's own mount. Then came the quick drawn showdown where Dawn took down Ezekiel to give the Killer Grips their first end of episode win and the Screaming Gaffers got to finally vote off Lauren but not before laying onto her team and swearing vengeance. Will the Gaffers somehow regret voting off the scary girl? Can the Grips follow through on the momentum of a win? Can shelves fit any more awards? Find out here on... Total... Drama... Action!"
"Wasn't last time the Aftermath thought?" Leni asked as her sisters sighed.
"Just hope this episode is Lauren free now..." Lucy sighed and they were hopeful.
The opening is shown.
It was the morning after the last challenge and Courtney was having the Grips huddle together as they left their trailer. "Okay Grips; while things should be more peaceful, less terrifying and less 'fearing that we could be killed at any moment' thanks to the Gaffers voting off Lauren yesterday, it does however mean that the Gaffers don't have the incentive to try and lose on purpose so we will have to be on our A-game here. Work together as one." Courtney told them as there were nods but MK was grumbling as she was doing so.
"So they will be playing for real..." Lynn Jr said as they thought that this meant that things would be more competitive again.
"Something to say MK?" Courtney asked batting an eye and MK was just silent. "Now I am thinking we should see the biggest threats on the Gaffers team and see if we could target them to get the Grips to eliminate them." Courtney said and then looked to the others for suggestions.
"That sounds sneaky..." Lynn Sr said as he and the older adults frowned.
"A lot on these reality contests can be like this..." Bobby reminded his father in law and they couldn't argue that.
"Ezekiel pretty much won last season due to his luck and Lincoln here watching over him and that Bridgette girl looks to be out of her element so I wouldn't say that they are threats. How about Zoey since she was pretty much dominating the latter half of last season until the end?" MK suggested but this suddenly got Dawn's attention while Lincoln shook his head at what she said about Ezekiel.
"No... I mean; she hasn't gone 'Commando' so she isn't as much as a threat." Dawn said trying to make sure that they don't go for her best friend.
"Not being able to spend as much time with her but Dawn looking out for her bestie!" squealed Leni and Lily did the same.
"Better to keep your eyes on the prize if you ask me..." muttered Lola getting some frowns from the adults.
"Speaking up for your friend and I bet Lincoln would stick up for his goth?" MK asked as Lincoln glared at her.
Ronnie Anne and Lucy glared at MK for this.
"How about Lightning; I mean if we end up having a sports challenge then that could be just handing a victory to the Gaffers?" Brady suggested and their eyes widened at that.
"Lovestruck beefcake has a point..." Lynn Jr nodded along with others.
At the Screaming Gaffers' trailer the team looks relaxed as they left through the door. "Only been a few days but i had forgotten what a good night's sleep was like!" cheered Gwen with a grin.
"Once you don't have to worry about Lauren; the beds are pretty comfortable to sleep on there." smiled Bridgette.
"Looks like their nightmare is over..." Myrtle said as they all thought about how much more peaceful their night must have been.
"It means that we can start winning and use our advantage in only having lost 1 teammate to their 2!" Lightning grinned with excitement as they saw Chris coming up to them all dressed like a prison guard.
"Welcome to the gulag contestants as today is Prison Flick Day!" Chris said showing that the area around the trailers had a prison environment set up making them all groan.
"I bet prison would be like being forced to take part in these challenges and Lauren woudl have been right at home considering that she was at juvie." Ronnie Anne said as Luna sighed.
"Remember when bro and I were behind bars years ago; Lincoln and Clyde couldn't get their first concert tickets and an undercover cop came pretending to be a scalper and arrested them for it. I got busted trying to be a parent..." groaned Luna as the grandparents had their eyes widened and the Loud parents remembered being told that story.
Rita was also being reminded off her brief time in prison thanks to all those intentional tickets that she had gotten on a spree.
"We are not going to have to eat prison food... Are we..." Bridgette asked looking scared and green in her cheeks.
"Bet prison food would be better than what they serve on the show..." Lynn Sr sighed.
"Won't be a sweat if we have to because what is actually different from what Chef usually cooks?" Gwen assured her but Ezekiel tried to look brave.
They laughed at that and especially Lynn Sr as he had said something similar.
"I can stomach anything!" Ezekiel said with a pose causing Bridgette to laugh but Zoey looked at him.
"Kind of worried for Ezekiel now; all he has been doing trying to impress Bridgette... It just might cost him and get him eliminated sooner or later because I have seen plenty of shows where someone doing big things to impress someone romantically goes wrong..." Zoey said in the Confessional.
"calling it now; he is going to get himself eliminated after a stunt that was supposed to impress Bridgette..." Lynn Jr then said out loud hoping to turn her predicting luck around after what had happened in the last season.
She still could taste that bird's feathers...
"This evil genius has been put behind bars..." sighed Max in the confessional.
"This entire show is kind of like a prison... But if Chris has put in a shower challenge then that's me out... What? I wouldn't put it past him at this point..." DJ said in the confessional.
They all looked pretty much horrified at the idea and the Loud parents wondered whether to cover Lily's ears.
Inside the set up prison were two cages and two tables set with food and Chris was facing the contestants. "Teams you take a prisoner from the other team and the Warden will lock them up!" Chris explained as then came Chef dressed as a boot camp instructor making them gulp.
The Grips were together; "This challenge could get Lightning out of competing and could put the Gaffers at a disadvantage!" Courtney was saying.
"But what if Lightning ends up being safe from being eliminated from that?" DJ asked unsure as Courtney then looked to Dawn.
"Hard to decide if you don't know what it would mean..." Lori said as they just kept watching.
"Dawn; any clue as to what Chris and Warden Chef have planned with their auras?" Courtney asked as they looked at her.
"Well... I wasn't close enough but as I did get a glimpse of Chef's aura as he was coming up and something gross is in store for whoever is up..." Dawn explained looking green as they blinked.
"Oh no... The mere mention of the G word and I am getting flashbacks of that Brunch..." groaned Ronne Anne as their faces became green.
"In that case about Chris Jr as in Topher? He has been a real jerk and I would love to see him get his?" grinned Lincoln and Courtney thought it over.
"For you Lincoln..." Courtney agreed as they nodded.
"Considering how he has been; if it is something bad then I wouldn't mind it happening to him..." Lana said and they nodded.
Back at the Gaffers they were discussing who to choose; "How about the hippie girl or her boyfriend since it should be fun seeing them locked in a cage?" Topher asked with a grin and he got looks especially from Gwen.
"You know they should put him and Lindsay alone on a small island since I think they would deserve eachother..." Ronnie Anne muttered with her arms folded as they glared at Topher.
"One more word about Lincoln and you will wish that you were in solitary confinement..." warned Gwen as Max thought it over.
"My evil genius mind is suggested Courtney and since she seems to be a schemer this season." Max suggested and they thought it over and decided to nod.
"What could happen to Courtney now..." LIly asked and they just waited.
"Okay teams; who are you gonna lock up?" Chris asked as Topher smirked as he stepped forward for the Gaffers.
"Have fun in the cage Ms CIT..." laughed Topher as Courtney blinked but sighed as with grace she stepped inside the cage. "Wow I would hate to be in your position..." laughed Topher some more as the Grips decided to smirk.
"Funny you should mention that Topher as I hope that you don't have claustrophobia." Dawn said as Topher stopped as Chef took him by the arm and pushed him into the cage.
They giggled at this.
"Okay teams; you have to make a disgusting dish for your prisoner to eat; whoever eats the most of their dish without blowing chunks wins the round for their team and gets this for the next part of the challenge!" Chris explained showing a golden shovel.
"We have to... What..." cringed Topher as Courtney smirked at him.
They looked grossed out and Myrtle's eyes widened as she said "Courtney was second place in that Brunch challenge; do you remember..."
"To be honest Gran-Gran; I did my best to intentionally forget as much as I could from that challenge..." Lori replied and there were many nods at this.
"Do I have to watch with my eyes closed..." Sam whispered.
"Courtney came in 2nd at the Brunch in the last season; this is in the bag..." laughed MK in the confessional.
Myrtle smiled in response and they thought that the Grips did have a good chance there.
At the Gaffers table; Zoey put in some slimy anchovies paste, Bridgette wasn't looking as she put in some dirt and Gwen put in the cockroaches. Max took out one of his socks to put in while Lightning came in having retrieved some of his own socks. Ezekiel put in some of his hairs.
"What's sad is that it doesn't look as bad as most of those dishes on the Brunch..." Lynn Sr said as they managed to keep their lunches in.
At the Grips table; Brady poured in a chug of disgusting liquid, DJ put in some powder while MK spat in it. Dawn and Lincoln came in holding Brittany as Dawn pushed some of her hair into the dish.
"Courtney still has that animal..." muttered Lola as they managed to snicker at what Lincoln and Dawn were doing.
"Am I not allowed to be vindictive... Topher was cruel to Lincoln mocking him for his drunkenness and his aura shows that he values him getting famous over all else..." Dawn said in the confessional.
"Wow... There is a mean side to Dawn when pushed..." Ronnie Anne said impressed.
"Even Leni can get really angry..." Lori pointed out.
"One minute to chug!" Chris said as they got their dishes and Topher gulped.
"Can I do it one teeny tiny bite at a time..." pleaded Topher as Courtney started eating her's.
They were covering their eyes.
"What's the matter... Your stomach not strong as mine..." taunted Courtney as Topher forced himself to eat but ended up barfing into it.
"The Killer Grips win!" Chris said as the Grips cheered with their golden shovel as the Gaffers just sighed at Topher.
"Still on a team with dead weight on it..." grunted Lightning.
They started cheering after uncovering their eyes and snickered at Lightning's comment; "Serves him right..." laughed Luna.
Outside the prison there were 2 laundry carts for the teams; "Convicts... No get out of jail free cards here! Each team selects a pusher to push their team in the carts through the obstacle course to freedom! Get digging when you reach the wall and the first team to reach the box cart of freedom wins!" Chris told them.
"I volunteer to push with my strong arms!" Brady said to the grips and they pretty much wordlessly got into the cart.
"Certainly does look strong..." Luna said as they thought that the grips had a good chance at this.
"I could push yo..." Ezekiel said as he then was making flexing poses again and and Courtney snuck out and noticing this and Lightning shaking his head.
Snickers at this.
"I don't know why Lightning thought he could rival to you Lincoln; he doesn't have what it takes and the Gaffers do need to use their strongest member for a chance to win!" Courtney called out facing Lincoln and Dawn and Lightning heard this and glared while gritting his teeth.
"She is riling him up to make a mistake..." Lisa said as they realised Courtney's methods for her strategy.
"In you losers go; I am doing it!" Lightning shouted pushing all of his team into the cart. Chef then gave the signal for them to go.
Most shook their heads at this.
Brady was pushing past as the Gaffers were screaming inside their cart; Lightning was ahead as they were going past the obstacles but on the balancing beam Lightning ended up in his angry state being hit by a balancing beam and falling in.
Laughs at this.
Brady managed to get his team's cart to the wall and they all went out and started digging their hole. A wet lightning soon came and threw his team out of the carts. "Get to digging with your hands!" snapped Lightning as Topher ended up barfing again.
Looks both glares and grossed out at this.
"I hate closed spaces and you pushing us... Was like that race challenge again..." grunted Gwen as Lincoln helped her up as the Grips finished their hole. Gwen smiled and Lincoln smiled at her.
Smiles at this; "Lincoln remembering to help out one of his girlfriends." Rita smiled with pride.
"His best one if you ask me..." whispered Ronnie Anne.
"Sorry Gwen but my team needs me right now and it's not like Lightning can catch up with us!" Lincoln then called out as the Grips went through their hole and Lightning grunted as he went to pick up his team members with Gwen protesting over his shoulders as he went to Try and scale the wall but fell down.
"When they had that Race themed challenge last episode; isn't this exactly how he acte?" Albert brought up reminding them all and they nodded.
The Grips cheered as they reached the box cart with the Gaffers falling behind as they had to go through the wall looking down. "The Killer Grips win again and Gaffers; it's voting time!" Chris yelled as Lightning was furious and glared at his team as they glared back.
"Well Lightning is definitely out..." Luna said saying what was on everyone's mind.
Lincoln and Dawn shared a look and went to Gwen; "Are you alright?" Lincoln managed to ask quietly as Gwen looked at him.
"I can tell that Courtney intentionally riled him up and you did help..." Gwen said as Lincoln looked guilty. Gwen just smiled as she pulled him closer "I know that you couldn't have guessed that he would do that but I hope that you both don't allow yourselves to go overboard with your alliance with Courtney." Gwen hugged him and then let go as Lincoln sighed.
"I don't deserve you both and I promise that I won't go overboard..." Lincoln swore as they let Gwen join the Gaffers.
They smiled; "But what if Courtney does like get worst and if Lincoln and Dawn do get pressured to continuing their alliance?" Leni asked and they were just silent.
"My alliance is going well but my teammates do have friends on the Gaffers but I believe that I can trust them to stay with me. Plus as long as Gwen doesn't become too much of a possible threat; I wouldn't suggest targeting her." Courtney said in the confessional.
Looks at this and Ronnie Anne wasn't happy with how Courtney worded that.
"They can't vote me off... Can they? Because if they do then I can make things bad for them when I become the new host... As soon as the producers return my calls..." Topher said in the confessional.
"I admit that I am not an expert in being a producer of a TV station as I am in plenty of other fields; mostly science, engineering and inventing but... Why has no one given Chris a call to have him disqualified?" Lisa asked as they shook their heads.
"If you ask me; the producers must be really uncaring or sadists to approve the challenges and let Chris get away with what he does..." Bobby suggested and they thought that it was a good point.
The opening for the Elimination Ceremony played as Chris and Sammy were on the stage with the Gaffers on the seats. "Screaming Gaffers for the 2nd time you are at the Elimination Ceremony where all but 1 loser will get a Gilded Chris and will have to walk the Walk of Shame and ride the Lame-O-Sine!" Chris said and then coughed as they casted their votes. "Votes have been casted and... Gwen. Max. Ezekiel. Bridgette. Zoey." Chris said as Sammy threw the Gilded Chrises with Lightning and Topher looked at eachother. "The final Gilded Chris goes to... Topher!" Chris read as Lightning was open mouthed and Topher was cheering.
"In her face jock boy..." laughed Topher as Lightning glared at them as he got up and then walked the Walk of Shame and the rode the Lame-O-Sine silently.
"Definitely expected him to be more of a sore loser..." Luan pointed out.
"He actually took his elimination last season better but here; I think because of the circumstances and that he went farther than when he did here..." Lori then pointed out.
"Lightning was a bit much but... Was voting off our strongest player the best?" Bridgette asked in the Confessional.
"Well Courtney's plan definitely worked like a charm." Lana said as they took the episode in.
"What else could Courtney come up with?" asked Leni as they frowned.
"Just hope for the best as always..." Lynn Sr then said and Lily thought of something to make the mood better.
"What do you think Lincoln will react when he hears the news of the Ridonculous Race offers?" Lily asked and they thought it over.
"Maybe he could give you all pointers for actually living through a reality TV contest..." laughed Ronnie Anne as they spent their time thinking of how he would react and if he decided to take his own offer up.
