9. The Dark Kingdom,and Declaration of love

Hello everyone, here is the long awaited chapter 9!

I'm sorry this chapter is out this late in the year, it took 6 months to write the chapter due to having writers block and having a busy life. And this is the biggest chapter that I've written in this story, so it took another month to type it all out on the computer.

So last time we learned that Seiya escaped from prison and is coming after Usagi, and she and Mamoru had to go to America until the police captured him, but Seiya invaded her family home and knows that she's in California. And the police told them about it and they fled from the apartment to escape elsewhere in the country. Yada, yada, yada. But Seiya isn't the only enemy they have to deal with on this run. :Gasp: D8

Let's see what happens next!

Kunzite and Zoisite made their way to the throne room where their queen was waiting for them. Once they approached her chair that she was resting in, they knelt before her.

"Queen Beryl, how may we be of service to you?" Zoisite said.

"The senshi's and Tuxedo Mask have the rest of the rainbow crystals that we need to reform the Sliver Crystal and awake Queen Metalia. I want you two to get the crystals from them once and for all, if you have to kill them to obtain the crystals then so be it." Beryl told them.

Kunzite smiled. "As you wish my queen."

Usagi was sitting on the bed of her and Mamoru's hotel room, dressed in only her bathrobe as she had just finished bathing. She was talking to her friends through her communicator watch.

They told her that the police were still trying to find where Seiya is so far, there hasn't been much luck on his whereabouts. Usagi was still anxious about him, he could be anywhere at this point.

She then remembered their other enemies. "Has there been any attacks from the Dark Kingdom since I've been gone? I totally forgot about them."

"No, there hasn't been any activity for a while." Ami said. "It is strange though."

"I wonder if they're planning something…" Minako pondered.

"Will you guys be able to fight them off without me?" Usagi asked.

"We'll be fine, don't worry." Rei assured her.

Luna then popped in. "Usagi, you still have the crystal's that we collected right?" she asked.

"Yes, I brought them with me. I put them in this little pouch bag and kept it hidden in my suitcase." Usagi said with a smile. She then had another thought. "Has Tuxedo Mask shown up at all since I've been gone?"

It had been a while since she's seen him, she hoped that he was doing alright.

"No there hasn't been any activity with him either." Makoto said. "And he still has the rest of the crystals."

"And we need to find a way to get them from him." Minako said. "I hope he's not planning on something evil too."

"But Tuxedo Mask is our ally, he's helped us so many times in our battles with the Dark Kingdom." Usagi said.

"That is true Usagi-chan," Luna said. "But we really don't Know him or what his intentions are with the Sliver Crystal. We still have to be cautious of him. He could surprise us with an attack at any moment."

Usagi wanted to tell them what he told her on the rooftop that day, but held back as they would never understand. If Tuxedo Mask was their enemy, why would he tell her to be strong and not give up? He helped her at that time.

Minako changed the subject. "So how have you and Mamoru been doing? Where is he by the way?"

"We've been doing fine, and he went out to go get dinner for us." Usagi said.

Her blonde friend then got excited. "Ooooh! Are you planning on something tonight?! Do you plan on confessing your love for him while dressed in nothing but your robe and have a romantic dinner together?! That sounds so spicy Usagi-chan!"

The girls looked at her dumbfounded as Usagi blushed madly at what she said. "What?! No! I'm not gonna stay in this robe all night long, and I don't have any plans on confessing to him because I'm not in love with Mamoru! I told you guys, we're just very good friends!" She protested.

Her friends smirked at her. "Sure you are…" Rei said.

"Usagi-chan, we can see it in your face and hear it in your voice that you like him." Minako said.

"No I don't!" their leader denied, her behavior sounding like an angry toddler but she could care less about that. "Not in THAT way, in a FRIEND way!"

Minako waved off what she said. "Deny all you want Usagi-chan, we know you're bad at lying and that you have a thing for Mamoru."

"And on top of that, you've been happier now that you two have been spending time together." Luna pointed out.

Usagi tried to compose herself. "Because he helped me, as a friend, when I was lost and didn't know where to turn to. Mamoru is my dear friend like everyone else."

Her friends sighed, giving up on trying to get the truth out of her. "I guess you're right Usagi-chan." Ami said. "Although in my opinion, if someone planned on confessing their love for someone, they would first tell them what they've been through and how much that person means to them because they made their life happier."

The other scouts and Luna all nodded and agreed with their blue haired friend. Usagi on the other hand got even more frustrated.

"That's it! I'm done talking about this! I gotta go, Mamoru will be home any minute and I have to help prepare dinner. Goodbye and stay safe everyone!" She then hung up and sat there trying to calm herself down. "Jeez, they just don't seem to give up no matter how many times I tell them and get angry."

Her demeanor then changed as she felt sad and lost. "Plus, I'm still traumatized from my relationship with Seiya. How can I trust another man after him?" she asked herself. "And there are two men that I have feelings for. Mamoru and Tuxedo mask."

Usagi has had a crush on the mysterious masked man since the beginning, even when she was dating Seiya it didn't stop there. He was always there to save her in battles and help her have the courage to fight the enemies. And again, he also helped her find confidence and bravery to stand up to her ex. She was grateful for what he has done for her.

The blonde got up and went to her suitcase and retrieved the star locket. She opened it and listened to the soft, beautiful melody play as she continued with her thoughts.

She thought about Mamoru, who at first was a jerk that would always tease her and get a laugh out of it. But she remembered all of those times when he started to be nice to her when she was seeing Seiya, which she completely ignored because she saw him as a jerk. And then came the day when he saved her from trying to end her life when she was at the lowest of her life and almost lost herself. He then helped her get her life back together along with everyone's help.

Like Tuxedo Mask, he saved her too. Mamoru may not be him, be he was a night and shining armor to her.

Although she did remember feeling the warmth of both of their hands and how similar they felt. Was there a connection?

"No way," she dismissed. "they don't even act the same. Tuxedo mask is noble and dashing like a knight; and Mamoru is kind, caring, helpful, and friendly. Sure they both fight by my side to ensure my safety, but it's for different situations. They're two different people."

With that theory debunked, she put the star locket away and picked out her clothes to wear for tonight. She then heard the door open and Mamoru walked in with a bag of groceries in his hand.

"Sorry for the long wait Usagi-chan, I-"

"EEEEEP!" The blonde squealed, hugging her robe and clothes as she ran into the bathroom and locked the door. "I'm sorry Mamoru-san, I'm not dressed yet!"

"Calm down Usagi-chan, I didn't see anything." Mamoru said.

"Still, I'm not wearing any clothes!" she exclaimed.

Mamoru sighed and ignored it as he set everything down on the counter. Usagi, still in the bathroom, was blushing madly, embarrassed that she overreacted. All because she was so shy to let her crush see her in her bathrobe.

It was nighttime in the Azabu-Juban park as the citizens strolled along the paved trails on this calm and clear night. The generals watched the area around them as they hid in a tree among the people.

"Look at all of these people enjoying themselves happily." Zoisite said. "Tonight is peaceful."

Kunzite snickered. "Not for long."

Zoisite giggled. "It'd be a shame if we ruin their night."

"Perhaps," Kunzite said. "but alas, we need to lure the Sailor Scouts somehow."

Zoisite turned to his comrade. "Shall we?"

Kunzite nodded sinisterly. "Let's go."

The generals then jumped down in the crowd of people and Kunzite used his dark energy to send energy blasts and blades everywhere. Knocking down trees, light posts, etc. Zoisite used his pyrokinesis to create flames to trap some of the citizens and send others running in a frenzy.

Meanwhile; Ami, Rei, Makoto, and Minako were all hanging out in a restaurant when they started seeing police cars flying down the street sounding their sirens.

"There are a lot of police cars being called to go somewhere, I wonder what happened?" Minako said.

They then listened in on the radio that was sitting on the table at the bar, a news reporter was saying that there were two men in the Juban park causing destruction and frighting the people there. The girls were alerted and knew who those men were. They got up, payed for their drinks, and rushed to the park. They went into an alleyway and transformed into the Inner Senshi's.

They arrived at the park and found the two generals terrorizing the citizens. Sailor Mars and Sailor Jupiter used their powers to stop the enemies attacks.

"Leave those poor, innocent people alone you bastards!" Jupiter demanded.

"We stand for justice, and we will not stand for this!" Minako stated. "I the name of our planets,..."

"We will punish you!" They all said together.

"Sailor Senshi's," Kunzite said. "We were expecting you."

Both generals then noticed that the girl's leader was absent. "Why isn't your leader with you?" Zoisite asked.

"That's none of your business you dark kingdom assholes!" Jupiter hissed.

"Now it's our turn to ask you questions." Mars said. "Why are you terrorizing these people? What's your plan?"

Zoisite giggled. "We needed some way to lure you Senshi's here."

Sailor Venus glared at them. "What do you want with us?"

"Isn't it obvious?" Kunzite said. "We want the rest of the rainbow crystals. So if I were you I would hand them over right now, and you and everyone's life will be spared."

"We'll never give you the crystals you bastards!" Jupiter said.

"Well then," Zoisite said. "Since you won't give us the crystals, we'll just give you THIS!" The general then blasted his fire power at them and the Senshis dodged the attack.

The battle then begun between the Dark Kingdom and the Inner Senshis as they used their powers against each other. It didn't take the two men long enough to figure out that Sailor Moon was in possession of the rainbow crystals since the leader of the group would hold on to them.

"Where is Sailor Moon?!" Kunzite demanded.

"She's not here you scum!" Venus declared and used her crescent beam power on him.

The general dodged the attack. "She's the one that has the crystals! Tell us where she is now!"

"We'll never tell you where our leader is!" Sailor Mars shouted and used her mars snake fire on him.

Zoisite then came to his partners aid and together the two generals combined their attacks and injured all of the Senshis as they cried out in pain. Kunzite then used his dark energy to create a barrier to absorb the girl's energy, making them more weak.

The Senshis are defeated as Zoisite and Kunzite stand above them proudly. Sailor Mercury tries to stand up but Zoisite sees this and steps on her arm with his foot to keep her in place, the blue haired senshi cries out in pain.

"You still want to fight after all of that?" he said. "Why don't you just rest and give in." He then puts pressure on her arm making her whimper. The general then hears a beeping noise coming from Mercury's watch and Zoisite takes the watch off of her wrist and examines it. "Well, well, what do we have here?"

"No…" Mercury pleaded. "don't touch that…" the auburn haired general then kicked her in the abdomen.

"Silence you worthless senshi!" Kunzite ordered.

Zoisite continued to fidget with the communicator until he discovered Sailor Moon's name in the contacts that showed where she was located. Zoisite's eyes lit up. "Kunzite, this watch shows Sailor Moon's whereabouts!"

The white haired general was surprised while the Senshi's gasped in shock. Kunzite stood beside his partner and smiled down at the watch. "So your leader in in America, interesting. Well then, we'll pay her a visit."

Mars struggled to rise up. "No...you stay away from her...you assholes!" she gritted her teeth.

Zoisite giggled at this. "Thank you Sailor Senshi's. Until then, ta ta!"

They then vanished into thin air, leaving the girls wounded and alarmed. They all slowly struggled to get up, moaning in pain, until they were able to stand just barely.

"I'm sorry everyone," Mercury said feeling guilty that it was her fault that they found out about Usagi's whereabouts. "I didn't know that they would discover my communicator."

"It's not your fault Mercury," Jupiter reassured her. "They were too strong for us."

"No time for remorse," Mars said. "right now we have to warn Usagi-chan about the generals."

All three of the senshi's nodded.

. . . .

Mamoru and Usagi were talking while eating their dinner as they heard the phone in the room ring. Usagi got up and picked up the phone. "Hello?"

"Usagi, we have an emergency to tell you! The Dark Kingdom attacked tonight!"

Usagi, not wanting Mamoru to hear and know their conversation, picked up the phone and took it into the bathroom and closed the door. "What's wrong?"

"Usagi, the generals were causing chaos in the park and we tried to fight them but we lost." Minako said.

"Oh no! Are you girls okay?!"she asked.

"We're fine Usagi, just a little beat up, be we're okay." Rei said.

"Listen Usagi, the generals found out where you are and are coming after you for the rainbow crystals!" Minako said.

Usagi's blood ran cold. "What?! But, how…!?"

"After they wounded us they got a hold of my communicator which told them where you were." Mercury explained.

Usagi put her free hand on her head as she was panicked and frustrated. "What do I do?! I can't tell Mamoru-san about them, it'll risk our identities and put him in danger!"

Minako had an idea. "We can leave Japan and come to you before they do."

"But then Mamoru will be questioning why you all came to us without telling him." Usagi said.

"That's the least of our worries right now!" Jupiter said. "You need all the help you can get! It's gonna take all of us to defeat Kunzite and Zoisite!"

"Makoto is right." Rei said. "And plus, you'll need help if Seiya finds you and Mamoru., I can't stand sitting here worrying that he'll find you and you and Mamoru will be in trouble."

"We're all with you Rei-chan." Minako said. "Hang tight Usagi, we're coming."

"But where will we meet?" Usagi asked. "Me and Mamoru-san are still traveling endlessly anywhere. I have to let him know that you guys are coming to meet us."

"Where are you guys right now?" Mercury asked.

"We're still in Wyoming." She said.

The girls thought about it for a moment. "We can meet in Colorado." Mercury said. "Meet us at the Denver airport."

"Sounds like a plan." Usagi said. "I have to go tell Mamoru now, stay safe everyone."

"You too Usagi-chan." Minako said.

The call ended and Usagi came out of the bathroom. Mamoru looked up from his meal. "Who was that?"

She walked over to him. "It was the girls, they're coming to America to catch up with us and they said to meet them in Colorado."

"What?" Mamoru was surprised and confused. "Why this all of the sudden?"

Usagi tired to think of something to cover up the fact that the generals were coming. "They said...that...they're afraid that...Seiya might find us and that we'll be in danger, so they want to get to us before he does and help us." She half lied.

The raven haired man thought that it was strange that her friends told her that they were coming to join them out of the blue like that, she and her friends didn't even tell him while she was on the phone and hiding in the bathroom, as if there was something else that they didn't want him to know. After thinking about it for a moment, he nodded.

"I agree with them, Seiya is a monster, we don't know what he'll do to us. At the same time, I don't want them in this dangerous situation with us, it might put them in danger too."

Usagi shivered a little thinking about what her ex was capable of. "Yeah…"

Mamoru shifted her attention from those thoughts. "Where did they say to meet them?"

"In Denver, at the airport." she said. He saw that she was still anxious.

"Alright, we'll start heading there tomorrow." he said. "And don't worry Usagi-chan, we'll be fine and so will the girls."

"Thank you Mamoru-san." She said. Usagi still couldn't shake off the uneasy feeling that multiple people were coming after her.

Mamoru and Usagi have been driving for what felt like hours until they felt the need to stop at a rest stop to get rid of any muscle cramp and relive themselves. When Usagi came out of the restroom and met back with Mamoru, he said that he was gonna go grab some food from inside the building. She nodded and waited patiently for him by the car.

Unbeknownst to her, two men were watching her, debating if they found the right person. "This device is showing that our target is coming from that girl." Kunzite said.

"there's no way that girl could be Sailor Moon." Zoisite said. "She looks like every ordinary person."

Kunzite pondered as he studied her appearance. "Those long pigtails do resemble Sailor moon's pigtails. And they both have the same height. Why don't we have a chat with her Zoisite."

"We can't approach her like this, it would look suspicious. Let's lure her away somewhere private." Zoisite said.

"Sounds like a plan." Kunzite agreed.

…..

"I wonder what Mamoru-san is getting?" Usagi thought. "Maybe some sweets, I'm craving for some right now. Like, cakes, cookies, ice cream, and…..oh, pies!" While she was daydreaming and drooling about all the different kinds of snacks; a "woman" with a long, auburn ponytail, came up to her with a desperate expression on her face.

"Excuse me miss, have you seen my daughter? She wondered off and I can't find her anywhere."

"I haven't seen any children around ma'am, I'm sorry." Usagi said. "What does she look like?"

"She's wearing a sailor uniform and her hair is in pigtails." The woman said. "I've looked everywhere for her, where could she be?"

The blonde felt her pain, it made her think of her mother. "Don't worry ma'am, I'll help you find her. When was the last time you saw her?"

The woman smiled. "Thank you miss, the last time I saw her she was playing by those trees, and then she disappeared." She said pointing to the woods.

A light bulb lit up in Usagi's head. "She must of wandered off into the woods! Let's go find her together!" She said lively.

"Alright, thank you again miss." the woman said.

Usagi turned towards the building that Mamoru went into. "Although I should go inside that building and let my friend know."

The woman shook her head. "There's no time for that dear, we have to find my daughter."

"It's okay ma'am, it won't be much longer, it'll only take a few minutes." Usagi said.

The woman then grabbed her arm desperately and pulled her towards the forest. "Please, my child could be in danger or hurt or something! We have to find her quickly!"

"But, but…" Usagi said as she saw Mamoru already walking out of the building, but the poor woman got the best of her and she couldn't say no so she went with the woman into the woods.

Mamoru was walking towards the car when he saw Usagi walking with a woman into the forest, he was perplexed and skeptical about it. "What is she doing walking with a stranger into the woods? Something doesn't feel right." he said. He decided to follow after them into the forest.

…..

Usagi and the woman had been wondering in the woods for twenty minutes and still couldn't find any trace of the mother's little girl. "Gee, she sure has wandered off far." Usagi said. She then turned towards the mother. "What's your daughter's name? We can try calling out to her."

"My daughter's name is Mayu." she said. "But, she likes to go by a nickname, a character that she loves to play as."

The blonde's ears perked up. "Oh really, what does she love to call herself?"

The woman giggled. "Well, she calls herself," The woman's expression suddenly turned sinister, and her voice changed from sounding female to male. "Sailor Moon."

Usagi was shocked and felt like she was in danger when she said that and her voice changed. "What…?!"

The woman before her then transformed, and standing before her was Zoisite. He laughed evilly as she gasped. "That was kind of you to help a helpless woman, even though mommy and daddy taught you to not talk or walk off with a stranger. Hahaha!"

Usagi backed up and she felt herself bump into something and she sprung around and gasped at the sight of Kunzite who wore a wicked expression too. "Good evening ma'am." He said.

'This is bad, really bad!' Usagi thought alarmed. "What do you want with me?!" she asked terrified.

"Don't fright sweetheart, we just want to ask you one question." Kunzite said.

The men then started walking towards her and the young blonde backed up slowly until her back touched a tree, she had no where to run as they cornered her. "What question?" she asked startlingly.

"We want to know if you are the person we are looking for, Sailor Moon." Zoisite said.

Usagi's blood ran cold. "Sailor Moon? No...I-I'm not her,...I don't even know who that is."

The generals weren't convinced with her answer. "Are you sure? You do look similar to her." Kunzite said. "Or you do know her and idolize her."

Usagi stood up to them, trying to show them that she was not afraid. "No! I have nothing to do with that person! Now please, let me go!"

…..

Mamoru kept walking and walking further into the forest, trying to find Usagi and that stranger, until he heard voices near by and followed in that direction. Once he got closer, he was shocked to find Usagi, who was backed up against a tree and cornered from the generals!

"Kunzite and Zoisite!" he whispered. He then hid from them behind a tree. "What do they want from her? Why are they even here in America?"

He listened in on their conversation. They wanted to know if she was Sailor Moon, to which she denied. 'Sailor Moon? Why would they think that she's Sailor Moon?' he thought. 'She's not even in this country!'

"My, my, trying to be feisty with us are we." He heard Zoisite said. "I do love it when other's want to show their courage towards us."

He then saw Usagi try to make a move and run quickly away from them. But Kunzite grabbed her arm harshly and she yelped, this made Mamoru's blood boil. "Did we say you can leave?" Kunzite said.

Usagi struggled to break free from his grasp. "Let go of me! I'm not her!"

He then watched as the general threw her to the ground violently and she shrieked in pain. He then created one of his energy domes around her, trapping her. Zoisite then stood next to him and created balls of flames in both of his hands. "Don't make us try to get the truth out of you darling. Now tell us if you really are the leader of the Sailor Senshi's or face the consequences!"

"I have to help her!" Mamoru whispered. But he knew that he can't face the men as Mamoru Chiba, he wouldn't be strong enough to fight them, but he can as Tuxedo mask. He then transformed into his alter ego.

…..

'What do I do?!' Usagi panicked. 'I'm dead either way if I tell them or not!' She closed her eyes and prayed that someone would help her. 'God, anyone, please help me!'

As if her prayers were answered, something slashed through the air and hit Kunzite's hands that were controlling the energy dome and he cried out in pain. The dome disappeared and Usagi was free. She turned to the direction where object landed on the ground. 'A rose?' She thought. 'That means…'

Just then, a figure landed between Usagi and the generals and she looked up and recognized the person.

"Tuxedo Mask?!" she said shockingly.

The generals were just as surprised as she was. "Tuxedo Mask?!" Zoisite said. "How did you…?!"

"Never mind that Zoisite," Kunzite intervened. "How nice of your to join us Tuxedo Mask, we were planning to get the rainbow crystals from you too."

Zoisite smiled at this. "You're right, the masked hero must be dealt with too."

Tuxedo Mask narrowed his eyes and turned to Usagi. "Usagi run!"

Her eyes widened when he said her name. "How do you know-?!"

"Run!" he demanded again.

Usagi got up and ran away in the opposite direction, Zoisite made a move and was about to throw a ball of fire at her but Tuxedo Mask punched him in the face, stopping him, the general growled in anger.

…..

Usagi kept running and running until she was out of site and far away from the scene. "What is Tuxedo Mask doing here in America?" she questioned. "And how did he know my name?" She pondered about it and purposed the idea that he might know that she was Sailor Moon. "Does he know?!" she gasped. "No, he probably doesn't. He just sensed that Sailor Moon was in danger, me, and came to my rescue."

She then shook her head. "Oooh, there's no time to think about this! I gotta go back and help him! I can't bear to leave him fighting the generals alone!" she then got out her brooch. She thought about Mamoru and how he must be worried about where she is. "I'm sorry Mamoru-san, I have to help Tuxedo Mask! Moon Prism Power Make-Up!"

Once she was transformed, she ran back in the direction where Tuxedo Mask was.

The Masked man was fighting the generals using his cane and using his martial arts skills while dodging their attacks. He knew that he didn't have enough power to defeat them, but he wanted to make sure that Usagi was safe from them. He put his life before hers.

Zoisite found it humorous. "Is that all you got pretty boy?" He then launched another flame attack at him and Tuxedo Mask moved out of the way, barley missing it.

He then sent a bunch of his red roses at the general and the sharp stems cut Zoisite's skin and clothes. He hissed in pain.

Kunzite then butts in and throws all of his energy blades at him, the ebony haired man avoids all of them as they miss him and hit the trees around them instead, causing them to fall down to the ground harshly. The white haired general got furious and threw his blades faster at Tuxedo mask. They finally managed to reach him and hit him, giving him his own cuts on his flesh and attire, and he cried out in pain and fell to the ground.

Kunzite chuckled. "Looks like those tricks of yours lost their touch."

Tuxedo Mask tried to attack him with another rose but Zoisite fired another energy flame at his hand, burning the rose and his gloved hand. He held his injured hand as he winced from the burn.

"Your roses are useless." Zoisite said. "Now let's finish him off."

"Stop right there you demons!" A voice shouted at them. The generals turned and found Sailor Moon standing before them on a tree branch. "How dare you hurt Tuxedo Mask and try to harm another innocent person! That is unforgivable! In the name of the moon, I'll punish you" she said.

The generals smirked at her, they can piece together the resemblance. "Sailor Moon, we've been looking for you." Kunzite said. "Come join the party with your caped hero."

Sailor moon jumped down from the branch and landed between the generals and Tuxedo Mask. She came to his aid. "Are you alright Tuxedo Mask?" she asked.

The ebony haired man slowly got up. "I'm fine, this is nothing."

"Still haven't had enough pretty boy?" Zoisite said. "No matter, more will be coming your way now that Sailor Moon is here."

"What is it that you want?" she demanded.

"We want all of the rainbow crystals that you have, from you and Tuxedo Mask." Kunzite answered. "Now either hand them over, or face death, your choice."

The young heroine glared at them. "Never."

Zoisite giggled. "We knew you would say that. Looks like we'll have to take them from you by force."

"Over my dead body!" she said.

The fight between the generals and Sailor Moon, alongside Tuxedo Mask, began as the enemies used their attacks on them while the two heroes dodged them and used their own powers on them. Tuxedo Mask was battling Kunzite while Sailor Moon was fighting Zoisite as she darted one of his flames.

"Why don't you give up your persona already and give us the crystals like a good civilian!" he said. The young blonde threw her tiara at him in response. Zoisite avoided the tiara and growled in frustration.

He saw her brooch on her fuka's bow and got an idea.

Before she could do anything, the general teleported quickly in front of her and slammed her against a tree. Sailor Moon struggled in his grasp. "I think I may of found the source of your power darling."

"Sailor Moon!" Tuxedo Mask exclaimed. He tried to run to her but Kunzite blocked him and attacked with his energy blade and the masked man dodged all of the onslaughts.

Zoisite then grabbed hold of her brooch and she gasped. "What are you doing?! Don't touch that!" she panicked.

"What happens when we remove this!" he said. Zoisite then used his pyrokinesis to inflame his hand around the brooch, burning it. Tuxedo Mask and Kunzite watched the entire scene unfold in shock. The brooch then deactivated and Sailor Moon watched in shock as her sailor fuka turned into pink translucent ribbons and faded away, she was back in her civilian clothes, and both Zoisite and Kunzite smirked as she fell to the ground defeated.

"Usagi?!" Tuxedo Mask exclaimed. He couldn't believe it! The girl that he's known for four years; the cheerful, childish, kind, strong, and brave girl!? The one that he loves, is the heroine that he's fought alongside with!? How can that be!?

"Tuxedo Mask, I-" she tired to say something but was cut off by Zoisite's laughter.

"So it was you the entire time! You're really nothing more than a simple pretty girl! How pathetic!" he grabbed the brooch and then kicked her so hard that she was slammed against the tree, she cried out in pain from the impact.

Before she could move, the general used his rose petals and transformed them into needles and launched them at Usagi, intending on killing her.

"Usagi!" Tuxedo Mask cried out. He then used all of his might to push Kunzite away with his cane and ran to her; before the needles could strike her, he scooped her in his arms and moved quickly, but not before getting stabbed with one of the needles as it hit him in the back of his right shoulder. He cried out in pain from the impact and he fell to the earth hard with Usagi still in his arms.

She moved out of his arms and held him. "Tuxedo Mask!" she cried.

He winced in pain. "Don't worry about me...go, get out of here!"

She shook her head. "No! I won't leave you!"

Zoisite approached them as he laughed. "How lovely of you to stay with lover boy Sailor Moon. Makes it easier for us to kill you two and get the crystals!" He then created an ice crystal type spear and was ready to finish him off. But Tuxedo Mask wasn't gonna let that happen as he rose to his feet and gripped his cane.

"Tuxedo Mask don't!" Usagi pleaded.

"I'm not going down yet!" he said.

Zoisite was amused. "My, my, aren't you the knight and shinning armor!" He then attacks him, Tuxedo Mask tries to fight back but because his back shoulder is injured he could only defend himself with his cane.

He tries to punch the general but Zoisite dodges it and sends his own punch towards him in the face, the impact sent the masked man to the ground and caused his mask to fall off. Usagi watched as he collected himself and turned his face back to glare at the general.

She gasped when she saw his unmasked face. "Mamoru!?" She was at a loss for words; this whole time, the mysterious caped man, the one who always came to her rescue and helped her and the other Sailor Senshi, and the one who told her to never give up, was Mamoru!?

…..

Beryl watched the whole thing unfold through her crystal ball, and was just as shocked as Usagi was when she saw Tuxedo Mask's face. "No, it can't be!"

…..

"Oh, looks like we have two pathetic people! This is just too easy!" Zoisite laughed. The general then attempts to attack him again but Mamoru blocks it with his cane and both of their weapons clash together.

Usagi then tries to run towards the two men, hoping to try and help Mamoru, but Kunzite swoops in and blocks her path. "What do you think you're doing?" he said. "You're useless against us without your powers!"

Then then created his energy knives and throws them at her and Usagi jumped out of the way before they could strike her. Kunzite then creates more and launches them at her in a fast pace and the young blonde ran trying to avoid the blades as they missed her and destroyed everything in their path.

"Run all you want, it will do you no good!" he yelled.

'This is bad! What do I do!?' She panicked in her mind. It wasn't long until the blades caught up with her and attacked her, scratching her skin and putting tears in her clothes, she screamed in pain.

"Usagi!" Mamoru cried. Zoisite pushed his spear harder against his cane as Mamoru resisted him. When he saw her fall to the ground injured, the rage and courage in him rose as he used all of his strength to push Zoisite away and strike him with his punch, the general fell to the ground as Mamoru ran over to Usagi.

Zoisite growled. "You're not gonna get away that easily!" He then summoned his rose petals again and threw then at him, Mamoru cried out in pain as the needles sliced his skin and clothes.

"Mamoru!" Usagi cried.

Both of the generals laughed. "Your heroic knight can't save you this time! You and him are finished!" Kunzite said as he crated another energy knife.

Zoisite collected his spear. "Let's end this Kunzite!"

Usagi panicked, was this going to be the end of her and Mamoru?

'No!' She told herself. 'I will not die here right now and let them kill Mamoru too! That's not gonna happen!' She eyed Kunzite's blade and then looked towards Zoisite as he is about to kill Mamoru, an idea came to her. 'Please let this work.' she prayed.

She got up on her feet quickly and ran towards Mamoru, Kunzite threw the blade at her and it followed her. When she felt like the blade would hit her, she ducked and the blade flew over her and stabbed Zoisite in the chest. The general screamed as Kunzite was shocked.

"Zoisite!" he cried. He watched as the auburn haired general fell to the ground and quickly disintegrated.

Usagi ran towards Mamoru, retrieved her brooch that had fallen to the ground, and went to his side and cradled him. "Mamoru, come on! We have to get away!" Mamoru only winced in pain.

Kunzite watched them with rage and summoned more energy blades to attack them. Mamoru and Usagi were trapped, everything around them turned into slow motion, they didn't know what to do to stop it.

'This isn't good,' Mamoru said to himself. 'I'm powerless against him, and Usagi too. I don't want us to die like this, she doesn't deserve this. What can I do?'

'Endymion, use your power to stop it.' a female voice said to him.

'What? Who said-?!' Mamoru said.

'You have the power to protect her. Say the words, "Tuxedo La Smoking Bomber", and focus on the power in the palm of your hand, and release it.' the voice instructed.

Mamoru saw the general begin to send his power towards them, and he could feel a powerful sensation in his hand, he didn't know what was happening, or who or where that voice was, but he'll take any last hope that there was. He concentrated on his hand and said the words.

"Tuxedo La Smoking Bomber!" he said and pointed his hand towards Kunzite and a blast of white energy shot out of his palm and disintegrated the blades. Kunzite was shocked by this new power, he growled and was gonna use his powers on them again when he heard Beryl's voice, and it stopped him.

'Kunzite, return to the dark kingdom now.'

He wasn't having any of it. "No! Let me finish-!"

'That's not a request Kunzite!' she hissed. 'We will deal with them later.'

Growling, Kunzite opened a portal to the Kingdom and retreated. Mamoru sighed in relief. "Thank god he's gone." he turned to Usagi. "Are you alright?"

"I'm fine, I only have a few cuts. Are you okay?" she asked.

"I'm alright, I can still stand." he then got up on his feet but the pain in his shoulder caused him to lose his balance a little as he stumbled back about to fall, but the young blonde catches him before he could. He couldn't hold his Tuxedo Mask persona anymore and he transformed back into his civilian clothes.

"Mamoru, we need to get you to a hospital now." she said.

"No, no hospital…" he opposed. "I'm a medical student, I know how to treat my wounds."

"Are you serious?!" she exclaimed. "You need a doctor!"

"It would be hard to explain to them how we ended up with these wounds, I don't want any suspicion, and they'll keep us in the hospital to make sure that we heal. And I don't want Kunzite finding us in the hospital and causing chaos trying to fight us." he tried to explain to her. "And we have to get to Colorado as quick as possible, the girls will be waiting for us."

Usagi sighed, there was no use in trying to convince him. "Where is the first aid kit?"

"In the trunk," he said and handed her the car keys. "here."

She took the keys and ran back to the car in the parking lot.

Usagi returned to Mamoru with the first aid box, thankful that no one suspected anything when she came in and out of the woods. She saw Mamoru sitting against a tree, his head resting against it as he held his injured shoulder in pain. The first wound to treat was that one she thought.

"Take this off Mamoru-san." she instructed.

He did as ordered and she helped him remove his green jacket and black turtle neck shirt, seeing how his blood had bled through both fabrics, he hissed every time he felt a sharp pain in his shoulder. Usagi gasped when she saw the nasty opened wound.

"How bad is it?" he asked.

"It's very deep Mamoru, you have a big hole in your shoulder!" she exclaimed.

"Shit," he said. "This can be dangerous for an infection."

"We need a hospital Mamoru." She said.

"No we don't, I know what to do." he protested. Usagi mentally sighed in frustration, she was done arguing with him over this, if he does come out all well after this she was gonna kick his ass. "I'll walk you through it." he told her.

Usagi's face started to turn green. "I think I'm gonna puke."

Mamoru giggled. "We can't have that happen. We can talk while you patch me up."

"Alright, but no mention of food please, I don't want to think about bleeding open wounds when I eat a cherry pie." she said.

Mamoru laughed. "We can't have that either."

Usagi opened the box and looked at all of the supplies inside. "Okay, where do we start?"

"The first step would be to wash your hands to prevent infection, but since we don't have soap or water, you can put on the gloves." he said.

She did as he said and he continued. "Okay, now apply pressure with the cloth in the box."

She did that and he hissed in pain. "Sorry."

"No it's okay, it's supposed to happen." he assured her.

She then tried to clean the wound as best as she could as she thought of something to talk about. "So...there is something I want to ask you since both of our identity's have been revealed."

"What's that?" he asked.

"Why do you want the rainbow crystals, if you don't mind me talking about it?" she inquired.

Mamoru was silent, debating whether he should tell her the whole truth, but he didn't feel comfortable telling her about his past. So he decided to tell her the dreams he has instead. "Well, this might sound obscured, but I've been having dreams of a princess telling me to find the sliver crystal."

Usagi stopped cleaning his wound. "A princess? Who is this princess?"

"I don't know, this person never gives me any details no matter what I ask her, and her face is always hidden. And she always repeats the same thing every time, to find the silver crystal." he said.

Usagi thought about it for a moment, could this mysterious person be the Moon Princess that her and the others had to find?

"What about you?" Mamoru broke her thoughts.

"Huh?" she said.

"Why are you trying to find the silver crystal?" he asked.

Usagi had no choice but to come clean about the others as well. "Well, me and the others; the sailor senshi, were told by our cats, Luna and Artemis, that we had to find the Moon Princess and the sliver crystal from the Dark Kingdom."

Mamoru raised an eyebrow. "Your cats? You can talk to cats?"

She giggled awkwardly. "Well they're our guardians and advisers, and they can talk."

"Strange but okay." he said.

She turned her attention back to his wound. "Um, I cleaned your wound the best I could, what do I do next?"

"Use the antibiotic in the box." he said. She got the antibiotic and applied it to his wound.

"Are the other senshi's like you? Are they civilians too?" he asked.

"Yes; they're Ami, Rei, Makoto, and Minako" she said.

"Really?" he said surprised. "I never would have guessed."

"Okay, what's the next step?" she asked.

"Cover the wound with a bandage, then we'll be done." he said.

Usagi grabbed the bandages and began to wrap around the area. "And also, where did you learn how to do that power?"

"What power?" he asked.

"When Kunzite was about to attack us, a bright energy blast came out of your hand." she said.

"Oh, well, I don't know. I didn't even know I had that ability. A voice told me to use it." he said.

Usagi looked at him confused. "A voice? I didn't hear anything."

"I guess I could only hear it. And it called me "Endymion", I never heard that name before." he said.

"Endymion?" she questioned. "That is strange, I wonder why it called you that? But….I don't know why, but it sounds familiar. Like I heard that name from somewhere."

I don't know anyone with that name. But I'm actually grateful for that voice coming in as strange as it is. If it weren't for that voice telling me about this new power, it would have been the end of us." he said.

"You're right." she said as she still continued to dress his wound. Another thought came to her. "So you were Tuxedo Mask this whole time."

Mamoru was confused, didn't they already learn their identities? "Um, yes?"

She smiled. "You were the one that's been by my side through all of those battles, and the one who told me to never give up."

He thought about it and then nodded. "Yes."

She stopped wrapping him to look at him. "Thank you for being by my side as both Tuxedo Mask and Mamoru, I'm very grateful for it."

He turned to meet her eyes and smiled. "You're welcome."

She finished patching him up. "All done!"

Mamoru moved his arm to get a better feel or it. "That's a good dressing, it feels much better now."

"I'm glad you like it, it's my first." she said.

They both continued to smile at each other until Mamoru decided to break the silence and told her to give his other cuts and wounds attention too. Once she was finished cleaning and put band aids on those wounds, he treated her cuts too, and every time his hands would touch her skin it, made her shiver and her heart speed up, she tried to calm herself so he wouldn't notice. After she was all patched up, he put his shirt and jacket back on and studied the atmosphere around them.

"We should get moving, while it's still daylight." he said.

"Okay." she said.

Back in the Dark Kingdom, Kunzite and Queen Beryl were discussing their next plan. "My Queen, why did you order me to retreat, I could of eliminated Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask." the general asked, trying to control his frustration.

"Because…" she said."I was shocked when Tuxedo Mask's face was revealed."

Kunzite was confused. "Why your highness?"

"Because I recognized him, he is someone I once knew. And that can be said for Sailor Moon too."

"Who milady?" he asked.

She was silent for a moment as she remembered something that happened in the past, a memory that she despised the most. "They were people that I knew from another time, another kingdom, from the Sliver Millennium, one that I still have vengeance on."

The general didn't understand why she wouldn't tell him who they were but let it slide for now. "What do we do about them now Queen Beryl?"

"We still need the rest of the crystals from them, but I want Tuxedo Mask alive and to come with us, and Sailor Moon will be killed." she said.

"Why spare Tuxedo Mask's life and bring him with us?" he asked. "I highly doubt that convincing him to join us will be easy."

"That is a long story that I have no time to explain." she said. "The important thing right now is that we need to get the crystals and Tuxedo Mask, whether he refuses to come with us or not doesn't matter, he doesn't have a choice."

Kunzite bowed. "As you wish my queen."

Usagi watched the sun go down as Mamoru was driving down an empty two lane road with nothing but road and trees along the path. They only had a little further to go until they reached Colorado.

"How's your wound Mamoru-san?" she asked.

"It still hurts, but I'll make it." he said as he winced in pain a little.

Usagi looked at him with worry, she didn't know if he'll be able to fight in the next battle they have, whether it be the Dark Kingdom or Seiya. She took out her brooch and looked at it. It was burned and cracked and lost it's power. Without the brooch, she was powerless and weak against the enemies. Sure she can do a few moves and can think of ways to defeat the enemies outside the box, but it was little that she could do to fight. They would kill her in a heartbeat.

Mamoru saw her troubled face and got concerned . "What's wrong Usagi-chan?"

"My brooch got burned by Zoisite, I don't know if I'll be able to transform." she said.

"Don't worry, I'll be by your side to help you fight." he reassured her.

Usagi looked at him with uncertainty. "Yeah but-"

Suddenly a bolt of energy hits the ground in front of them and Mamoru swerved the car to the left and they went off road into the woods, the car stopped abruptly when it got stuck in a ditch. Both Mamoru and Usagi were breathing heavily trying to calm down.

"Are you alright Usagi-chan?" he asked.

"I'm fine, I'm fine." she said. "What was that?!"

Just then, a figure landed on top of the hood of the car, it was Kunzite who was staring down at them with a menacing smile. "Guess who!" he said.

The two of them hurried to get out of the car and tried to make a run for it in the opposite direction, but were halted by another shocking figure, Queen Beryl. "Good evening Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask." she said. "Hand over the crystals and your lives will be spared."

Both of them didn't believe any of that. "Never," Mamoru growled. "You'll kill us afterwards!"

Beryl smirked. "Kill both of you? I only want one of you dead."

Mamoru and Usagi were confused by what she said when Kunzite came behind them, blocking any path that they can escape. The queen looked to the general "Kunzite."

He nodded and summoned a dark energy sphere to trap Usagi in, and then he controlled the sphere to fly over to Beryl's side and hover next to her, the blonde felt the dome absorb her energy as she fell on her knees in pain.

"Usagi!" Mamoru cried. He glared at Beryl and stretched his hand out and pointed it at her, ready to use his new power on her. "Let her go!"

She smiled evilly. "Nah ah, I wouldn't use that power if I were you." She said. Beryl then stood behind Usagi. "If you do use it and kill us, she dies too. But I will release her if you do as I say."

"What?" he asked.

"Give us the crystals, and come with us." she said.

Mamoru was startled by the last request she said. "Come with you?! What for?!"

"Let me help you remember, you use to be on our side in the past. You were one of us." she said.

This only confused Mamoru even more. "What? I was never part of the Dark Kingdom!"

"But you were, you were the prince in the Sliver Millennium." Beryl turned to Usagi. "And this little nuisance was your princess. The little tramp that made you betray us!"

Mamoru was offended by what she was calling Usagi, and even more confused at the same time. He was a prince in the past from the Sliver Millennium? And Usagi was a princess? What was the queen talking about?

"Now," she continued. "What will you choose? Our side, or hers?"

"Mamoru don't!" Usagi pleaded.

He looked at her and saw that she was getting weaker by the minute. There was only one thing he could do to stop this. Mamoru took out the crystals that he had stored away in his jacket and laid them on the ground in front of the queen. Kunzite gathered all of the crystals in his hand.

Beryl smiled. "Wise choice Tuxedo Mask." She then turned to Kunzite. "Finish her."

"Yes my queen." he nodded. The general then made the dome drain more of Usagi's energy and she screamed in pain.

"What are you doing?!" Mamoru cried. "I gave you the crystals now release her!"

"Precisely, how else were we gonna get the crystals from you? How else would we make you join us?" she said.

"I never agreed to joining your side!" he yelled.

"Whether you join us or not is not your choice! We can't have her interfering with us! She will die! For taking everything away from me!" she exclaimed.

"What are you talking about?! You promised to spare her life!" he cried.

"Did you really think that I would keep my word? I had to think of some way to make you give in!" she cried. "And what am I talking about? You never knew, but I was the one that loved you first from afar! It was me that you should of ended up with! But this wretch took you from me! Now watch as she suffers and feels the pain that she caused me!"

"No!" Mamoru yelled. He then pulled out two roses and threw one at Beryl, who cried out in pain as the sharp stem gave her a cut on her face, the impact made her fall back. He threw the other at Kunzite and it slashed his hand and he yelled in pain. Usagi was released from the dome and Mamoru went to her side and scooped her up in his arms.

"Are you alright?!" he said.

"I'm fine…" she said. "We got to get out of here."

"No," he said. "You go, I'll fight them." Mamoru then transformed into Tuxedo Mask.

Usagi was alerted and stopped him in his tracks. "No Mamoru! You're still hurt!"

He shook his head. "Pain never stopped me, I will still fight to protect you."

"Mamoru…" she said.

Beryl recovers from the impact and growls towards the masked hero. "How dare you choose her over me! You haven't changed at all! This would of never have happened if you only loved me instead Endymion!" The queen lunges at them as Tuxedo Mask brings out his cane and clashes it with her mystical staff.

"I could never love you, you're a witch!" he yelled.

Usagi watches as he uses his cane to fight her, but it was no match for the queen. Beryl sticks out her hand and dark energy blasts out of it and Tuxedo Mask dodges the attack, he then uses his own energy blast on her but she avoids it. Kunzite then comes in and uses his energy blades on him and the ebony haired man dodges those too.

"I can't just sit here and watch! I have to help him!" Usagi takes out her brooch and raises it up over her head. "Moon Prism Power Make-Up!" she exclaimed. Nothing happened, the brooch wouldn't transform her. "Oh no!" she gasped.

Tuxedo Mask uses his cane on Beryl but she breaks it with her dark energy blast and she hits him with her staff and he gets knocked against a tree really hard. He recovers from the onslaught and sees that Kunzite is about to attack Usagi, he quickly runs over to her and uses his cape to block the attack. His cape is shredded as he falls on one knee, barely able to stand.

"Mamoru!" Usagi cried.

"Go Usagi, you have to get away from here!" he weakly said.

"No, I can't abandon you!" she said as she grabbed his arm. "I won't leave you with these monsters!"

Tuxedo Mask turned to meet her eyes. "Don't worry about me! Now go while you still have the chance!"

She shook her head. "No! I want to protect you!" she cried. And Tuxedo Mask was stunned by her words. "Even without my powers, I will still fight by your side Mamoru!"

"Usagi…" he said.

Beryl growls at the scene. "That girl is always standing in our way to get you to come back to us!" She then raised her hand and pointed it at them. "You won't get away with it again!"

She then sent her dark energy at them and Tuxedo Mask and Usagi moved out of the way in opposite directions before it could hit them. The queen then charged after Usagi and uses her staff to attack her, and the blonde kept avoiding all of her strikes, Usagi picks up a nearby branch and uses it to fight back.. Tuxedo Mask tried to get to her but Kunzite kept preventing him with his dark energy powers.

"Run all you want princess! You won't escape from me!" Beryl exclaimed. "You can't have him! He's mine!"

"He could never love you, its your selfishness and jealousy that has bewitched you! No one wants that! It was not meant to be!" Usagi yelled.

The queen growled in anger as she broke Usagi's branch in half, and Beryl got her hand ready again. "I tried to kill you once, but failed! This time...I won't. If he can't be with me, he can't be with you either!" She then blasted her dark energy at her, Usagi tried to avoid it but it sent her flying backwards, hitting the ground hard.

Beryl then pointed her staff at her and stormed at her. "Goodbye princess!" she screamed.

"Usagi!" Tuxedo Mask cried. He then ran to her, Kunzite tried to stop him but the masked man punched him so hard that he was sent to the ground.

Usagi looked back to see Beryl lunging towards her very fast, she struggled to get up but she couldn't move, her body was in pain from hitting the tree. She braced herself for the onslaught, closing her eyes.

But it didn't happen. Instead she heard the sound of something cutting threw flash, and a horrific scream. She opened her eyes and saw a gruesome sight.

Tuxedo Mask was standing in front of her, Beryl's staff had plunged through his body, blood was flowing down from where he was stabbed. Usagi was in shock and so was the queen.

"MAMORU!" she screamed.

Beryl yanked her staff out of his chest and stumbled back. "YOU FOOL!"

Mamoru staggered back holding his chest before falling backwards. Usagi crawled to his body and cradled him, tears rolling down her face. "Mamoru! Mamoru!" she cried.

Her masked hero went to touch her shoulder with his shaking hand. "At least...I was able...to save you...one last time…" he weakly said.

Those words shocked her; no, he can't...he can't die! She felt something building inside of her, and she felt all of her emotions rise up. She couldn't hold it anymore and she let out a high pitch scream.

"NOOOOOOOO…!"

One of her tears then reacted and caused all seven of the rainbow crystals to come forward. Beryl and Kunzite watched in confusion as the crystals and the tear merged into one and turned into a small glowing light. Usagi then felt herself transform from the light as her clothes turned into a long, beautiful, white dress.

Mamoru stares at her in awe and shock, he then has a vision of the mysterious princess again and this time...her face is not hidden...he can see her face!

And it's...Usagi?!

But then he remembers seeing her face somewhere else...in another time...a kingdom, a war,...he remembers being a prince! He was Prince Endymion! And Usagi was…!

"Serenity…" he whispered. "It was you...you're my princess…"

She gasped as a flood of memories wash over her. She remembered her life from Sliver Millennium, their passionate relationship, the war that caused their deaths and their kingdoms, she even remembers her mother from that time! "You're Endymion...my beloved…" she said.

The glowing light then shined brighter and enveloped Mamoru and he could feel the warm light ease his pain.

"It's the Silver Crystal we've been searching for!" Beryl exclaimed. "Kunzite, retrieve it!"

Kunzite charged after the crystal and threw his energy blast at Usagi. She felt the power of the crystal, and sent her own white energy blast at him and the impact destroyed his attack and hit him, the general screamed as he turned into dust. The queen was shocked as she was outnumbered.

"You may have won this time, but I will be back to defeat you!" she snarled. She then opened a portal and disappeared from sight.

The light from the crystal dimmed and Usagi caught it in her hand as she transformed back into her regular clothes, the gem shining magnificently. She then turned her attention back to Mamoru. "Mamoru, Mamoru are you okay?! Please don't leave me!" she pleaded shaking him.

"Stop, stop, I'm fine!" he said grabbing her hands. He then slowly rose up and checked his wounds. "I'm cured, that glowing light healed me! And it cured my shoulder wound too!"

Usagi couldn't retain her emotions and she hugged him desperately, afraid of losing him again if she let go. "I'm so glad! I thought I was gonna lose you!" she wailed.

He embraced her. "It's alright Usagi, I'm not going anywhere."

After hugging each other for a moment, Usagi looked at the Sliver Crystal. "So this whole time, I was the lost princess we've been searching for." she said. "And I remember everything from the past. It feels so strange but so familiar...you and I…"

She felt him put a hand on her shoulder and she met his blue eyes. "I feel the same way too." he said.

They both starred at one another for a moment, remembering their past relationship, remembering all of the things that they did. Realizing that they were starring at each other with longing, sensual eyes, they broke the trance and blushed.

"Um…" Mamoru broke the awkward silence. "Let's try and get the car out of the woods and get back on the road."

Usagi nodded, still blushing. "Okay…"

Once Mamoru and Usagi got the car back on the road, they drove until it was nighttime and the moon was full in the sky. They learned that there was nothing but road for miles, and they wouldn't be able to find any hotel anytime soon, so they decided to stop and camp out in the woods tonight.

Mamoru drove off road and found this open space field in the forest that would be perfect for them and parked the car. They then positioned the seats in the car for them to sleep on, and they went to bed.

Usagi dreamed of another memory of her and Mamoru from their past; where she, Princess Serenity, gives Mamoru, Prince Endymion, the star locket. The same one that she has now. She then felt Endymion put his hands on her and she melted into his embrace and they began to kiss one another passionately…...

Usagi Jolted awake from the dream, blushing from the memory of them being intimate with each other. 'Ooh...this is embarrassing!' she said to herself. 'I don't think I can look at him in the eyes the same way again! I know I love him,...but what if he doesn't? We're just friends right now. This is awkward for us!'

She then noticed that Mamoru's green jacket was wrapped around her, she looked over to the drivers side and found that he wasn't there. Bewildered, she looked around and saw a campfire in the field and spotted a figure beside it and she knew it was him.

"Why did he decide to build a fire this late at night?" she questioned. Usagi got out of the car to see if he was alright.

When she got to him, he was gazing at the fire, watching the flames dance in the night. "Mamoru?" she said.

His attention turned to her and he was a little surprised that she was up. "Usagi-chan? Why are you awake? Are you okay?"

"I'm fine, I saw that you weren't in the car and out here, so I wanted to make sure that you were okay.: she said.

"I'm fine, I just couldn't sleep." he said. "I had a weird dream."

"What happened in this weird dream?" she asked. She saw that he was hesitant to tell her so she sat down next to him with a happy smile. "Do tell, I'm all ears! You can tell me!"

Mamoru rubbed the back of his neck. "Well, it was another memory of us as the prince and princess. Where you gave me a locket and then…"

Usagi blushed, he had the same dream too?! "We made love…" she finished for him.

It was Mamoru's turn to blush and he starred wide eyed at her. "You too?!"

She nervously laughed, not sure what to say to help this uncomfortable situation. Mamoru rubbed his face. "You know what, let's change the subject."

The two sat in silence, not knowing what to talk about. All Usagi could think about how embarrassing it was for them; and what would Luna, Artemis, and the girls think of all of this?! They were gonna have a lot of explaining to do. At least her family and his family wouldn't know about it, what would they think?!

That's when she thought about Mamoru's parents. He doesn't talk about them much, she doesn't even remember if he ever told them that they had to flee to America. So do they even know where he is? She decided to ask him about it.

"Hey Mamoru, can I ask you something?"

"What's that?" he said.

"Do your parents know that we're in America?" she asked. She saw that he began to feel tense about the subject of his parents, like he was hiding something. "I'm sorry for bringing them up. I just didn't know. I remember you telling me that they were out of town, but I didn't know if they knew-"

"They're dead." he cut her off suddenly.

She looked at him surprised and confused. "What?"

Mamoru looked at her and then looked away. "My parents died in a car accident when I was six years old, and I became an orphan ever since. I've been lying to you and I'm sorry."

Usagi was stunned, Mamoru has been alone for all of these years?! She felt guilty for asking about them. "So all of those memories you had with them, they're not true either?"

"Well...I don't really remember them." he said. "I was in that accident, I survived but it gave me amnesia, so bad that I couldn't remember my own name, birthday, and everything. The doctors had to tell me. So all of those memories I told you are lies, but they're also what I imagined my life was like before the incident. I do have a picture of them, but I don't remember what they were like or what we did together. But I'm sure that they were wonderful."

"So, you were an orphan all of your life? You had no other families?" she asked.

"No, I had no other relatives, and no one adopted me. I've been by myself ever since." he said sadly.

He then dropped his head down and his bangs fell over his eyes, it hurt her to see him like this. So much that she moved closer to him, put her hands on each side of his shoulders and rested her head on his back.

"I'm sorry...I'm so sorry Mamoru." she whispered sadly. "I never knew you had so much pain."

"Its not your fault, you didn't know, I always hid them from everybody." he said. "I got used to it and learned how to do things on my own to get through life. And I learned how to control the pain, you just disconnect it from reality. And let no one in."

Usagi looked at him, surprised and sad when he said that. Did that mean that he doesn't want anyone in his life? Not even friends? Not even her? She started to tear up a little. "So you won't get close to anyone? You don't feel anything at all? You don't want anybody?"

He could hear the pain in her voice, it made him regret saying that. It wasn't true, he did wanted people in his life, he was just afraid of losing them. But now she was beginning to have second thoughts about him. He felt like he was beginning to lose her if he didn't say something to fix this. So the only thing he could think of was to tell her the truth, another secret that he's been hiding from her too.

"After my parents death, I focused on studying to become a doctor, I kept myself occupied on that plan. But, I was still unhappy and lonely. I hated it so much and envied the people that weren't in my situation." he said. "But one day it all changed...when I met you."

Usagi's ears perked up and she looked at him, perplexed when he said that.

He continued. "On that day four years ago, when your crumbled test paper landed on my head, when I saw you and talked to you for the first time, there was something about you that was different. Something that drew me to you. I didn't know what it was or why at the time; but the more I saw you and talked to you, even though we bickered and I teased you, did I realize that it made my life a little brighter. I made it a point to see you every day. It made me feel again."

She saw the smile forming on his face, and her heart started to pitter patter. What was he saying? She then saw the smile drop from his face and his expression became sad and hurt.

"And then when you started dating Seiya, it made me feel sad at first but I thought that you deserved someone better than me. Not someone who argues and teases you. At least I got to see and talk to you still." he said.

All of this was making her feel so many emotions, she was speechless. Her mind was asking what he was getting at, but her heart knew whet the answer was. They were having a disagreement.

"And then you started acting different since you met him; every cut, bruise, and tears made me worry for you. I wanted to help you anyway I could, so I would try to be more sympathetic towards you, even if you would push me away." Mamoru paused for a moment when the next memory devastated him. "And then that night where you were running to the bridge and tried to commit suicide, it was shocking and painful for me to see, I had to save you. I...I didn't want to lose the one person in my life that made me feel happy! You've helped me, and I wanted to help you with your situation."

Usagi was stunned, is he, is he really…?!

He took a deep breath to calm himself before looking at her in the eyes with a smile. "What I'm trying to say is that...you're very important to me, you've been the light of my life, the most wonderful thing that happened to me since my parents died. I'm the man that I am today because of you. You're beautiful Usagi, I love you,...I've always have."

Usagi looked at him; emotion written on her face, her eyes were glassy, her cheeks red, her lips were agape, and her heart was beating with so much joy. She didn't know what to say, this whole time, this WHOLE TIME, Mamoru loved her, loved her before she did! This man, this man who had secretly admired her from afar, who fought alongside her in fights, who helped her when she needed it the most, who saved her. He was her real prince, her real true love, not Seiya.

Mamoru saw the look on her face, he waited for her to say something but she still looked at him shocked. He started to think that she didn't feel the same way about him in return, his eyes showed doubt as his forehead wrinkled.

He got up and went over to the pile of sticks and branches that he gathered and started throwing them in the fire. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said that, I shouldn't have spilled all of that to you." he said frustrated.

What was he thinking? Pouring all of his feelings to her when there were multiple people that were chasing after them. One of them her insane ex boyfriend that almost destroyed her! She probably doesn't want to trust any other men, not even him, they were only friends!

Suddenly he felt her hands touch his arms to stop him, and he dropped the branches to look at her. She then reached up to cup his face and she touched his lips with hers, and kissed him with so much passion that it shocked him. She pulled away and looked at him with love in her eyes.

"I love you too Mamoru. From the moment I first laid eyes on you before realizing it."

Mamoru's eyes were still wide from her kiss; but they were now showing excitement, joy, and passion. His heart was feeling the same thing too.

:Sex Scene Starts:

Usagi was surprised when he pulled her to him and kissed her with so much hunger. She returned the affection and wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him back. She allowed him entrance as she parted her lips and they were both kissing each other deeply, desperately.

They ended up collapsing into the ground hard with Mamoru on top of her, he continued to kiss her as his hands began to roam her body. Realizing what he was doing he stopped and looked down at her. "Ah, sorry, I'm sorry for falling on top of you and going too far."

She looked at him, her eyes starry, her face flushed, her swollen lips parted. She shook her head and answered him with a small moan, she then reached her hand up his arm and clutched the fabric of his shirt.

Confused he looked at her and saw the lust in her eyes, his eyes widened in realization. She wanted this. She wanted him.

He returned the gaze with intense eyes matching hers. He bent down and kissed her deeply again, the kiss becoming sweeter, their hands moving all over each others bodies.

Usagi kept feeling his hands touching her breasts, making her moan softly. He stopped kissing her and rises up, sitting on his knees. He gripped the bottom of her shirt and started to slowly pull it up. Her heart started to race and she felt her body tremble when he stopped to slip his fingers under her bra to pull that up too.

Mamoru gazed down at her bare chest, mesmerized and filled with passion, his hands burning to touch her. He then cupped her breasts in each hand and she whimpered and turned her head away from him, shutting her eyes.

She didn't know if she was ready for this, but she was filled so much excitement that she didn't want to stop either. Her mind was swimming. This was embarrassing. She wondered if he was even impressed.

Mamoru then bent down and whispered in her ear. "You're beautiful...Usako."

Her eyes opened when he said that, she was surprised by the nickname, Usako, she felt her eyes tear up a bit, she felt joy. Usagi could feel her body burning, she never felt so amazing in her life.

Mamoru then stood up on his knees and pulled his shirt over his head and tossed it to the ground. Usagi stared at his bare torso, cherishing how well toned he was but was still soft. She sat up and ran her hands up his stomach, to his chest, shoulders, and then down his arms. Her hands felt like fire against his skin and his muscles tensed with every touch. She then placed soft kisses along the areas that her hands were, following the same path, and Mamoru sighed at the feel of her lips on his flesh.

After a moment of letting her kiss his body, he pulled her shirt and bra over her head and caught her lips with his, he pushed her back into the grass and they kissed each other again. She now laid there fully naked, he never thought that she would be this beautiful.

Mamoru took off his pants and boxers and gently pushed her legs apart and moved between them, Usagi gasped when he pushed himself inside of her. She panted as her body tried to adjust to him. He then bent down to her to cup her face and kisses her deeply, and they both relished in the feeling of their naked bodies against each other.

No words could describe how they felt, it felt so amazing, so beautiful, and they were happy to experience this moment with each other.

They moved together, his thrusts becoming more determined, and she was crying out in pleasure. They continued to make love until she came, and he soon followed filling her with his seed. He collapsed on top of her and they held each other, sweating and panting.

Mamoru whispered in her ear. "I love you, Usako."

Usagi wrapped her arms around him and whispered back to him. "I love you too,...Mamo."

:Sex Scene Ends:

Queen Beryl knelt in front of Queen Metalia, who was a black mist inside a cocoon. "Queen Metalia, Sailor Moon has awaken as Princess Serenity from the Moon Kingdom! She was the wretched girl the Endymion fell for and betrayed us! Please Metalia, please grant me your power, let us unite, and together we can eliminate both the princess and Endymion once and for all!"

"As you wish." The entity said. "It is time to rid all living things in this world and turn it into darkness!"

Queen Metalia then broke out of her cocoon and enveloped Beryl, and she screamed as she felt the Queen's power overtaking her.

Usagi put on the last remainder of her clothes while Mamoru threw in the last of the branches in the fire. They both cuddled by the fire watching the wood burn.

"Are you alright Usako?" he asked her. "I didn't hurt you did I?"

She shook her head. "No, I'm fine, you were wonderful."

Mamoru blushed when she said that.

It was true; it was the first time any man had touched her the way Mamoru did, the way it should be, not at all like Seiya's cold and disgusting touches.

"Although I could use some work, I've never done this before, I didn't really know what to-"

"Hey," he stopped her. "no, you were wonderful too. I've never done this with anyone either."

She smiled at him. "I'm happy to hear that, but it doesn't matter to me if you never done this with anyone or not. I'm happy that we were able to share this moment together."

He smiled back at her. "I'm so happy to hear that Usako, thank you."

"You're welcome." she said. "I can't believe that a moment like that actually happened."

"Me too," he then placed his hand under her chin and tilted it up to look into her eyes. "But I'm glad that it happened."

She blushed as she saw the look in his beautiful blue eyes again. They leaned in and shared another kiss.

Just then they felt the ground rumble beneath them, and in the distance they could hear something breaking through the earth.

"What's happening?!" Usagi exclaimed.

They then saw beams of light shooting into the sky from the earth, and then a dark mass of energy rose out of the ground and shot up into the sky. A black orb then popped up from the spot and started to unravel itself.

"What's that?!" Mamoru exclaimed.

The orb then opened up like a flower and to their shook, it was Queen Beryl, who had grew in size and was 50 feet tall. Her hair was green, her skin was blue, and her dress was red.

"Beryl!" Usagi said. "How did she…?! What will we do?!"

Mamoru's face turned serious. "I don't know, but we won't let her terrorize this world!"

She looked at him. "How are we gonna do that?! She's a huge giant compared to us, and is no doubt more powerful than us!"

He looked back at her. "We have to try."

"I don't know if I can Mamo-chan." she said with worry in her eyes. "My brooch is beyond repair and even though I have the silver crystal, I don't know if it will be powerful enough to stop her."

Mamoru put his hand on her shoulder. "it will be powerful enough to stop her, I'm sure of it. You may not have your powers as Sailor Moon, but you have your powers as Princess Serenity. You have the power to fight her Usako, and I will fight along side you."

"Mamo…" she said. She was so touched by his words, it gave her the courage that she needed to win this battle. She got out the sliver crystal and looked at him with determination. "Okay, I'm ready."

He nodded and they raced to the direction of the queen.

"At long last, I can finally rule this world with Queen Metalia's power!" Beryl exclaimed as she laughed wickedly. "No one dares to stand a chance against me!"

"BERYL!" She heard a voice shout followed by the sounds of footsteps running from the woods. The queen looked down and saw the two people that she wanted to rid of the most.

"Endymion, Serenity, you saved me the trouble of finding you, now I can finish the job." she said.

Usagi glared at her. "No matter how tall you are, you can't stop us!"

The queen laughed. "Foolish girl! Me and Queen Metalia have joined together into one. Her powers are beyond anything in this world. With her dark energy, nothing can stop me!"

"Not if we have anything to say about it!" Mamoru said. "We will stop you Beryl!"

"Really?" She inquired. "Is that what you really believe Endymion? You think your roses and cane can stop me? Haha! Don't make me laugh!"

Mamoru transformed into Tuxedo Mask and got into a fighting stance and Usagi transformed into the princess and did the same thing.

Beryl was unimpressed. "The both of you are nuisances." She then prepared to make her move. "No matter, I'll finish you off!" Beryl blasted dark energy out of her hands towards them.

Tuxedo Mask and Usagi jumped out of the way from it. Usagi then summoned the power of the sliver crystal and the queen attacks her with another energy blast, but the blonde counters it with the power of light and they clash. They both struggled to out beat each other.

"That crystal of yours is weak compared to the darkness!" Beryl said. "Try as you might little princess, you can't stop me and the darkness! The world is already doomed, and there is no future for you and your prince!"

"You're wrong!" Usagi said. "There will always be hope, there will always be a way! The darkness may have covered all of the earth, but it won't swallow it! There will always be light at the end of the tunnel! I believe in ti!"

Beryl laughed. "Believe in what?! Love and friendship?!"

"Not only that, but courage to overcome the darkness, the power to fight it!" she said.

"Dumb wrench! That brave attitude won't stop me!" The queen then unleashed more of her power and the sphere of light starts to decrease, Usagi could feel her power getting weak as she whimpered.

"Usako!" Tuxedo Mask cried. He then ran to her side and released his energy power towards Beryl. "Tuxedo La Smoking Bomber!" The blast of white energy was able to halt the queen's dark energy from growing, and the masked man held onto Usagi. Beryl was frustrated with his interference, but then laughed wholeheartedly at how Usagi was beginning to get weak and needed to be held.

"Mamo...she's too strong!" Usagi said weakly.

"Don't give up! You can fight her!" he said.

"I...can't...I don't have enough power!" she struggled.

"I can't be sealed away by the crystal now that I have all of the dark energy within me!" Beryl exclaimed. She then sent another wave of her power at them and Tuxedo Mask and Usagi could barely hold their ground.

'She's overpowering us,' Tuxedo Mask panicked in his head. "the sliver crystal isn't strong enough! I feel useless, if only I had more power to lend to her to help. If only there was something I could do!'

'You can…' A unknown female voice said to him.

'What?!' he said.

'You have the power to help her.' The voice continued. 'You are Endymion, the Prince and guardian of Earth, what you possess is the Golden Crystal. It is like her crystal, and you can combine its power with hers.'

'I don't know who you are, but I'll take any help we can get!' Tuxedo Mask said. 'Where is the crystal? How do I summon it?'

'It is within you, you must call forth it.' The voice instructed.

Tuxedo mask closed his eyes and did what the voice said and the glowing golden crystal emerged from his chest, which transformed him into Prince Endymion, wearing a long sleeved dark blue bodysuit and a black and red lined cape

"What?! A second crystal?!" the queen said shocked.

Usagi looked over and was surprised to see him in the state that he was in. "Mamo…"

He looked at her with hope and determination. "Let's do this Usako."

She nodded and he stood next to her, reaching his arms out that was hovering the golden crystal so that it was right beside her crystal. He then summoned it's power and the sphere of light surrounding them got bigger and stronger again.

Beryl was shocked by this. "What?! No! Impossible!"

The power of both crystal's lights then started to push the queen back and Beryl was fighting to stay standing.

"Queen Beryl and Metalia, by the power of the sliver crystal and the golden crystal! We will vanish you both!" Usagi cried.

The crystals released an immense beam of light at the queen and Beryl screamed in agony as the light consumed her until she is erased from existence. All of this immense power causes the sliver crystal to shatter, and the life from Usagi's eyes disappears and she collapses to the floor.

"Usako!" Mamoru cried. He rushed to her side and fell on his knees beside her, he picked up her body and cradled her in his arms. "What happened?! Why is her body cold?! Usako, please wake up!" he called out to her devastated.

They defeated Beryl and Metalia, why go through all of that if he was gonna lose the one most dear to him?!

He pulled her tighter in his embrace as he felt his tears rising. "Please Usako, don't leave me...wake up...I love you…" He then placed his lips on hers and kissed her. Almost instantly he felt something warm move through his body and the feeling entered her body, suddenly the sliver crystal was restored and re-powered. Mamoru pulled away and he saw the crystal, but most importantly, he saw the life back in her body again as she opened her eyes.

"Mamo…" she whispered.

"Usako…thank goodness." he said.

She then sat up. "What happened? Did we win?"

"Yes, Beryl and Metalia can never harm anyone again." he said.

Her arms flew around him and she hugged him tightly. "Thank goodness! We did it Mamo!"

He embraced her back before taking her arms off of his body and holding her shoulders so that she was looking at him. "After we defeated them, your crystal shattered and you almost died. I was so scared, I thought I lost you."

Usagi was shocked. "I did? But, how am I still alive?"

"Your beloved saved you." That same voice that Mamoru heard said.

Only this time, Usagi heard it too and she had the same confused look on her face. "Who said that?"

A translucent figure then stood before them, surprising them. It was a woman who looked almost identical to Usagi, except she had sliver hair and was older.

"Who are you?" Mamoru said.

Usagi studied the woman and her eyes widened. "Wait...you're…"

The woman nodded. "Hello Serenity, it's so good to see you again, my daughter."

Mamoru's eyes widened too as flashes of memories came to him. "You're Queen Selene of the Moon Kingdom."

"And what do you mean Mamo saved me mother?" Usagi asked.

"When you used the silver crystal's power, you utilized too much of it, therefor destroying it and killing you instantly. But with Endymion's golden crystal, he had the power to heal himself and others. His power is what healed you." the queen explained.

Usagi and Mamoru looked at each other happily and then looked back at her. "Thank you for all your help mother." Usagi said.

"You're welcome my child." she said. "I must go now, I wish you two a happy life, we will see each other again someday." Selene then disappears into a twinkle of lights that raced up into the sky as Usagi watched sadly.

"Goodbye mother."

Both Usagi and Mamoru then transformed back into their present clothes. Usagi hugged Mamoru again. "Thank you Mamo, for saving my life."

He hugged her back. "You're welcome Usako." He then looked deep into her eyes. "Even though we died together in a previous life, in the end we were able to find each other again and defeat the dark kingdom."

She smiled. "Yes, it doesn't matter who we are. The Prince and Princess from the Sliver Millennium, the hero's that protect this world, or just two everyday ordinary people. What matters is that we're together now, and nothing can break our bond."

Mamoru and Usagi then kissed each other passionately under the stars. No matter what, if any danger would harm them, they'll be ready for it.

"Where is she?!" Seiya angrily screamed as he tore through everything in the apartment looking for Usagi. "Damn it! The damn police told them before I got here!"

He then slammed his hands on the dinning room table and pondered on what to do next now that he didn't have any leads on where his angel might be. Escaping from prison and sneaking on a plane to California can't end like this! Seiya then took out a small picture from his pocket that was of Usagi that he always had on him, even in prison, and looked at it.

She had to be somewhere in America, they couldn't have gone far. He didn't know where to look, all he had was this picture of her. The only thing he could think of was to hijack a car and as he traveled he could ask people at rest stops if they've seen her. It would risk him being seen by eye witnesses, since he knows the police are looking for him, but he had ways of hiding his identity and hiding.

"I'll take that risk." he decided.

With that, he pocketed the picture and carefully walked outside. He silently walked into the parking lot and found a car with the driver window halfway opened, and he reached his hand in there to unlock the door from the other side. He then got in, took his gun and banged the keyhole of the car until it came out and he fumbled the wires until he got the car to turn on. This skill he learned from one of the inmates came in handy.

"I'm coming for you Angel." he said. He then pulled out of the parking space and drove away.

He'll find his angel, he'll find her even if he has take out anyone that stops him, or burn down everything in this country.

I want to say that I'm honestly not 100% happy with how this chapter turned out. I had trouble writing some parts like the fight scenes, some parts feel like I dragged them out even though I didn't go into full detail, and I don't know if Usagi and Mamoru's chemistry is good in this chapter. I tried.

And a part of me wonders if I should of added the Sailor Moon Dark Kingdom and stuff in this story from the series. Maybe it could have been better without it. I don't really know why I made that decision, I guess I wanted it to make Mamoru and Usagi stronger characters and have a stronger relationship? I don't know, but I guess it doesn't matter in the end.

Okay, with that out of my system…

Oh dear, Seiya made it to America! Hopefully he doesn't find Usagi and Mamoru! He doesn't have a clue on where they are going right? Right?….We'll have to wait and see in the next chapter. Which will be the final chapter in this story. Whoo hoo!

And yayyyyy Mamoru and Usagi defeated the dark kingdom! One enemy down, and one more to go!
