Emila woke up on her birthday. It was also competition day.

"Ugh…I bet they forgot." Emila says.

Meanwhile, Emma was running as Angry Luigi tries to get the last muffin from Emma, who ran into her room and slammed the door.

"Greedy!" Angry Luigi says annoyed as Alem tuber wakes up. Angry Luigi froze and rushed off.

Oliver sighed and went out for breakfast.

"I'm going to win for you, Grandma Harriet." Lucy says.

"Good luck." Lynn says.

Meanwhile, Angry Luigi was running and bumped into Chalice.

"Hello, Angry Luigi, just the boy I needed. I saw you perform with Remy and Luke and you're way better than Luke." Chalice says.

Angry Luigi looked around, confused.

"Join my team for ANH." Chalice says. Angry Luigi shook his head no and runs off.

"Wait, I need you to marry me!" Chalice says.

At the tournament, there were a couple of Oliver fans. It was a singles competition.

Emila had her arms crossed. No one had mentioned her birthday.

"He's here!" One fan says as they noticed Oliver. He was dressed head to toe in a sparkling emerald green suit and tossed his auburn curls before winking at some girls.

Meanwhile, Luke was at a photo shoot with Remy and Lola. Luke and Remy were getting some promotion photos done for the new posters for The Bodyguard Strikes Back. Lola got some photos for her own movie.

Luke goes for an interview after that.

"So, Luke, how are you feeling heading into your half-birthday?" The interviewer asked. Luke had no idea how to respond at first.

"It's okay, I understand. Anyway, what's the movie like?" The interviewer asked.

"If you must know about my half birthday, I know my friends won't be at it. There. I said it." Luke says before talking about the movie.

Meanwhile, Emila was dodging some magic eels as she was surfing and smirked. She made it to the finish line, passing round 1.

"Wow amazing!" The judges say as Sabrina was helping Angry Luigi. Oliver sighed, thinking he wasn't good enough.

Round 2 was a show and tell.

Emila revealed one of Drella's earrings. "From one of my past adventures" Emila says.

"Interesting." One of the judges says.

Sabrina brought out Begmax's power suit. "This is when we saved a different planet." Sabrina says as fans clap and was eager to see what Oliver had to offer

Oliver took out his new wand as fans screamed. Oliver was in first place as fans just voted for him, not giving Angry Luigi a chance.

Lucy revealed her grandmother's spell book as some fans clapped.

Round 3 was a magical showcase.

Oliver used a spell to make cherry blossom trees sing. Fans liked this and screamed and roared, cheering for Oliver.

Lucy used a spell to make Fangs grow bigger as some judges clapped.

"Oliver's going to win ANH!" A fan chanted.

Angry Luigi made a crystal sculpture of Luke as fans liked it.

Meanwhile, Lynn was watching this on TV. "Come on, Lucy, you can beat Oliver…" Lynn says.

"She's facing Oliver. She has no chance." Randy says.

Emila used a spell to make paper birds as fans cheered. Sabrina made pigs sing and Emma ate 32 pizza slices at once and spat out an acidic pizza ball, causing an explosion.

"Nice job, Sabrina. You know what today is?" Emila asked as Sabrina tried to think.

"No, not really." Sabrina says.

Meanwhile, Luke sees this on TV. He was going to cheer Oliver on.

Round 4 was a potion challenge.

Lucy finished first as Emila was livid.

"Next round will be a breeze…" Lucy says, knowing it was a musical act round. Luke and Cuphead taught her a lot.

Emila goes to be alone, feeling embarrassed and hopeless.

Oliver sighed and got ready. His score on the leaderboard had him in third place.

"Way to go, Lucy!" Lynn cheered, watching this on TV.

Oliver just walked off, seeing none of his practice was even close to paying off.

Soon, Lucy decided to perform one of Luke's favorites.

Skylia saw Oliver walking.

"Oliver, hey, it isn't over yet, you can still win…" Skylia says.

"Yeah, right…I saw the leaderboard. 3rd place. I'm done for." Oliver says.

"Don't give up hope. Plus, you have lots of fans, and you're great at music." Skylia says.

Oliver hears the cheers for Lucy and looks down.

"Don't give up. It isn't over yet." Skylia says to Oliver.

Oliver goes on as girls are screaming. He's doing his "Jailhouse Rock" routine.

Fans cheered as Lynn looked annoyed.

Oliver soon finished as he was awarded first place just like that.

Emila glared. "It's always Oliver." She hissed.

"I resent that!" Oliver hissed and stormed off.

Skylia and Gabriel find him. Oliver looked away.

"We're very proud of you." Gabriel says.

"I'm sick of people assuming that I always win!" Oliver hissed.

"Well, you and Luke are kinda best at basically anything. But sometimes, you lose." Gabriel says. Oliver knew that was true.

"My friends forgot my birthday and Oliver embarrassed me on my birthday like always!" Emila hissed and broke her wand in half out of anger.

Meanwhile, Skylia told Brandy and Randy to set up another party for Oliver as the twins nodded fearfully, doing their best to make it look perfect. Savannah had to bake a cake.

Oliver flew away from the tournament, hissing. He used his anger-fueled magic to start a fire in a nearby forest.

Skylia tries to put it out. She coughed and collapsed in the middle of the flames. Oliver was that strong. She thinks of her kids and teared up, knowing she was going to die.

Gabriel gasped at the sight of this. He helped her out, getting hurt in the process. They both got out alive.

"I feel weird…I don't feel too good…" Skylia says, struggling to catch her breath. Inhaling magic flames was not good, especially Luke or Oliver.

"Yeah, I'll bake a cake." Savannah says and goes to do so.

Delta speeds around, using her super speed as she's putting up decorations.

Oliver flew around the forest, hissing. He was mad that everyone assumed he always won. But, really, it's the fans' fault as they always just post fake rumors for attention and to make Luke or Oliver feel better. Plus, Oliver always did beat Emila, so she was kinda frustrated at her loss.

"Oliver, you need to calm down!" Drell says.

"Never!" Oliver cried.

Meanwhile, the cosmic buddies finished decorating.

"I finished the cake." Savannah says.

"But, was today special?" Sabrina asked

"Oh, it's the anniversary of Oliver's first magic competition where he beat Emila and embarrassed her, then continued the 10 year streak." Reilly says.

"IT'S MY BIRTHDAY, YOU MORONS!" Emila shrieked as she teleported into a lake, then a mountain, then Luna's room, then Mushroom Kingdom, then to the Inkwell Isles before falling in a pond. Breaking her wand made her magic unstable.

"Shoot, it's her birthday…" Sabrina says "Guys, we need to set up a party for her."

"But Oliver will kill us if we do." Emma says.

"He's scary when mad." Angry Luigi says.

Oliver didn't care about the tournament or anything anymore. He finally unleashed an icy stream of water, putting out the fire before flying away.

"Mommy?" Emma asked.

"Kids, I'm kinda sick right now…" Skylia coughed.

"Okay, we need to find Oliver right now!" Alem tuber says as Delta rushes off and finds Oliver.

"Hello." Delta says. Oliver hissed in response.

"That's not good or polite. Bad boy!" Delta says.

Oliver shot flames, but Delta teleported behind him.

"I'm going to need you to calm down right now. You're out of control and Remy is sorry! Just forgive him!" Delta says.

Oliver had forgiven Remy, but he still felt mad.

Emila got out of the water coughing as the skies turned dark. It was raining heavily as there was a huge storm as trees lit on fire. Things were going out of control.

Lucy came home, looking upset.

"Sorry you lost. Next year, I know you'll beat Oliver." Lynn says.

"Oliver finished second behind Emma." Lucy says. Lynn and Luke laughed hard.

"That's the funniest joke I've ever heard!" Luke laughed. But Lucy showed him the final results and Luke realized it wasn't a joke.

"But she's 4! She's a baby! Babies can't think…" Lynn says as Jessica tripped and fell.

"See?" Lynn says. Charity grabbed Lynn by her shirt, infuriated that Lynn was making fun of people with autism.

"I'm not making fun of her autism! It's just…how can a 4 year old win a magic competition? Sorry, Jessica, but really, I'm not sure you can surf." Lynn says as Jessica was on the ground. Lucy picks her up, then the power goes out. Water was starting to flood the house.

"I lost to Brandy's little sister!" Emila hissed, realizing that Oliver didn't win for once. The fans lied. It's possible they're in denial.

"Okay, we need to do something." Luna says.

"Emila, calm down…" Sabrina says.

"Why? I never won at anything! Some friend you are!" Emila hissed, mad. "Maybe I'll destroy this realm!"

"I got an idea." Delta says.

But Sabrina hugged Emila, trying to calm her friend down.

Oliver was contributing to the worsening situation. He flooded Royal Woods, then he hissed and started turning the water to ice.

Jessica was scared and shivering. Luke pulled Jessica to safety and held her.

An ice boulder was going to crush them, but Lori saved them at the last moment .

"Lori!" The siblings say.

"Impossible! Only a heart of true love could break free." Troy says, watching.

"It seems Lori loves her siblings." Tristan says.

"What do we do?" Lana asked.

"Lola, Luke, unleash all your pent up rage and melt that ice! Lynn, you and Leni get the townspeople to safety with Lisa and Tina. Lana, you watch Jessica. Lucy, you and I will bind Oliver." Lincoln says.

The siblings nod and go to do their jobs.

Lucy took out binding scarves and leaped towards Oliver, who froze her.

"Lucy!" Lori says and leaped over to her.

Lori's love was enough to thaw Lucy out, who manages to bind Oliver with Lincoln's help. Oliver surrendered as he had tired himself out.

"Is everyone okay?" Lisa asked. Stella gave a thumbs up while shivering.

Lori hugged her siblings while sobbing.

Emila coughed and groaned as her magic was still acting out of control

"What's happening?" Sabrina asked.

Luke approached Emila with a newly repaired wand in hand.

"My wand?" Emila asked.

"I guess breaking your wand causes you to lose control. Listen, I'm so sorry I forgot your birthday." Sabrina says.

"It's okay." Emila says, then takes her wand from Luke. "Magica restoro reverso!" She chanted as all the damage was fixed.

Later, Emila arrived home.

"Happy Birthday, Emila!" Everyone says as Emila smiles.

Oliver had gone home to be alone. Remy and Luke followed him. Oliver sniffed and threw his silver medal into the trash before staring at his barren trophy case.

"There's always next year…" Oliver says mockingly before crying his eyes out.

Skylia tries to cheer him up as Emma walks by with her gold medal. That hurt Oliver even more.

"Honey, um, why don't you wait outside?" Skylia says to Emma.

"We're going out for ice cream! Whee!" Emma cheered and ran outside.

"You did great and your best. That's what matters." Skylia says to Oliver.

"My best wasn't good enough!" Oliver sobbed. "I'll never be good enough!" Tears streamed down Oliver's face.

"You will be someday." Skylia says.

"Someday will be too late. I've never won anything." Oliver looked down.

"You won in December." Skylia says.

"SCREW THAT! I'VE ALWAYS LOST!" Oliver screamed.

Skylia shows a video, which was basically a montage of Oliver beating Emila in a couple of magic competitions and winning a few of them.

"I still feel like a big loser…" Oliver sighed.

Skylia hugged him before going outside.

"Ice cream! Ice cream!" Emma says.

Skylia took Emma to an ice cream parlor to celebrate. But she thought of Oliver all the same.

Luke and Remy saw Oliver. Oliver destroys the awards he won before. They felt meaningless to him now.

"This is Emma's fault." Remy says.

"No. It's my fault for being a poor excuse for a magic user!" Oliver sobbed.

"Luke…" Lucy says behind him. She was upset she failed Grandma Harriet.

"Luce, can I be here for Oliver? I'll be there for you whenever I get home." Luke says calmly.

"Apologize to Oliver." Lucy says, not aware that they did.

"I did." Luke says.

"Oh." Lucy says and leaves, still upset.

Meanwhile, Emma was spinning on the chair as Skylia thinks of Oliver. Seeing his broken heart was enough to make her cry, but she didn't do it in front of Emma.

Meanwhile, Emila hits the magic pinata as candy falls out.

"Wow, wicked!" Emila says.

Then there was a video of the Cosmic buddies' best adventures though Emila got annoyed, remembering losing to Oliver.

Right now, Oliver felt like a loser.

Brandy came home. "Don't feel bad. I lose every time." Brandy says and shows his losing record, which was worse than Oliver's.

"Doesn't make me feel better." Oliver sighed.

Luke tries to comfort him.

"I'll never have a victory party…." Oliver sniffed.

"You will when we win in ANH." Luke says to him. "If anything, you will win. Not so much us, but we want to win for you."

Oliver smiled at that.

Haiku was buying a gift for Remy's birthday. She wanted her gift for Remy to be perfect.
