Hello everybody, and welcome back to another chapter of "A Long Distance Ship"! In the last chapter, Ash and friends had a reunion with Professor Oak, and we also got teased about events that might happen in the Hoenn region or even the larger Advacned Saga... Anyways, today we will have May get a new team member, and also a reunion with an old friend. Who will it be? Well, if you watched the episode you already know, but let's get going anyways!

Subject: Bulbasaur's Return

Hey there, Misty. As you can tell by the title of the subject, one of my old Pokemon returned for a little bit. And the reason why I had Bulbasaur rejoin my team for a little while is because yesterday, May ended up catching her own Bulbasaur! You see, May accidentally ended up in a restricted area of the forest where Grass-types lived, and they were not exactly kind to visitors. I ended up scaling the wall that kept humans out to rescue her, and that is where I learned that May ended up bonding with a Bulbasaur there (she would have fallen off a cliff if it weren't for May's intervention). When it was time for us to go after fighting off Team Rocket, Bulbasaur didn't want to leave May, so she happily let the Pokemon join her team. That brings us to today, when we stopped in town. I got the idea to get Bulbasaur from Professor Oak's lab. The Pokemon Center's Pokeball transporter recently got "fixed", but surprise, surprise, it was fixed by none other than Team Rocket, and they replaced all the Pokeballs containing Pokemon with fakes. They managed to drop the Pokeball containing Bulbasaur, so he and May's latest capture (along with my Taillow and May's Beautifly) helped track down Jessie, James, and Meowth. And for what was like the fifth time in my journey as a Pokemon trainer, (and second time they were directly responsible for), there was a trail leading right to their hiding spot, this time with the stolen Pokeballs! An epic fight with the TRio soon broke out, and our Bulbasaur proved to be a great team together. We managed to get the Pokeballs back to their trainers, but alas, my Bulbasaur had to return to his duty at Professor Oak's lab. But still, I enjoyed what little time he had with me, and I am sure May's Bulbasaur did as well. It was mostly smooth sailing since my last email to you, totally didn't spend an entire day arguing with May. Anyways, I will talk to you soon, Misty.

Ash

Hey there, Ash! I am glad to hear that you had a good time with your Bulbasaur, and that he bonded with May's latest capture really quickly. I would have loved to see them battle against Team Rocket. And for how you managed to track them down? I am sure that Seadra would be laughing right now if I told her. Oh yeah, my Horsea managed to evolve into a Seadra today. It looks just as wonderful as it did as a Horsea, and knowing that it becomes a powerful Kingdra… oh how I cannot wait to see it evolve into such a powerful and beautiful Pokemon! It would have been awesome to have a Kingdra in the Johto region in the same way that Brock had his Zubat go all the way up to Crobat… but of course I had to leave it at the gym because of how little I used it in Kanto and my stupid sisters… Anyways, I am glad to hear about your time with Bulbasaur! Good luck on the way to Fortree!

Misty

PS: Don't be ashamed of fighting with May, Ash. After all, the two of us fought all the time when we were traveling, especially during the early days of our Kanto adventures.

And that just about does it for this entry of "A Long Distance Ship". I would like to thank the user JS2002 for favoriting this story, as well as adding it to his followed list. Remember guys, until the god damn bug with the view count is fixed, favoriting, following, and reviewing the story are the only ways to show me you care about this story and others set in the same universe. Anyways, have a great weekend everybody, and I will be back with a new chapter on Monday!
