"It'll be okay Sof we'll FaceTime everyday before you go to bed," Arizona smiled.
"Promose mommy," Sofia looked up.
"I promise goose," Arizona nodded her head.
"Promise you won't forget me," Sofia started to cry all over again.
"Aww Sofia no one could every forget you. You're too amazing to forget," Arizona tried her best not to cry. "And I'll see you in a week when I come to New York to pick out your new school."
"I don't want to go to school in New York. New York is boring," Sofia crossed her arms.
"You haven't even been to New York."
"But you're not there and Zola's not there so it's boring."
"I think i see Momma," Arizona tried to change the tooic.
"Really, where," Sofia started to search.
"Rigjt there," Arizona pointed to over to the sitting area and Sofia took off.

"Sofia," Callie put the magazine down and stood up opening her arms.
"Momma," Sofia repeated as she buried her face in Callie's shirt.
"Sofia, what happened," Callie asked as Sofia cried.
She look over to Arizona to go some kind of scoop on what happened to their little girl.
"New York won't have mommy or any of my friend," Sofia cried harder.
"Oh but you make new friends, yeah," Callie bent down to Sofias level.
"Its so hard to make friends," Sofia cried.
"But it'll be easy for you just flash your smile and be nice and you'll have all the friend you need," Callie tried to reassure her.
"She right though," Arizona spoke.
"What," Callie stood up to face arizona.
"It is hard to make friends when you move even if you're the nicest kid around. So at least be realistic she won't make a friend for the first whole month and she'll be miserable but she'll get over it and by month two she'll have a friend. But it'll be hard and people will pick on her because of her size but you'll rebuild her confidence and she'll learn to ignore them," Arizona started to cry.
"Did your mom do that," Callie asked?
"No my mom said if they hit you hit back, and so I did, so I kinda bullied the bully in a way. So I never made friends aside from Nick and Tim. And my dads friends kids where always so girly they wanted to play princess with out the dragon and instead of the princess riding the dragon their princesses had tea," Arizona said wiping her tears.
"Can we play princess and dragon," Sofia asked?
"Yes tomorrow in New York," Callie smiled.
"Gate 12 opening for Flight 35," A man over the loud speaker annoucned.
"Oh that's us," Callie quipped.
"Come here goose," Arizona opened her arms.

"Is it my turn to be brave," Sofia wondered, thinking back to there conversation in the car.

"Okay," Sofia reached up a wipe a tear but it only made Arizona cry harder.

"Yeah we should get going Sofia," Callie grabbed her hand.

Arizona waved back with a smile as a single tear fell from her eyes. She couldn't move even though Sofia and Callie where already through the gate she couldnt move. Even after it had felt like shed been standing for hours she still couldn't move. It wasnt until an older women came and tapper her on her shoulder.
"I was wondering where did you get you shoes, they're really nice?"
"Oh these where's gift to me," Arizona smiled before walking off.
"Do you think this is the right thing," Callie asked Meredith?
"What do you mean," Meredith wondered?
"Me leaving going to New York?"
"Honeslty no, chasing behind some resident who probably doesn't want what you want," Meredith answered?

Not that you dont go to bars anymore but youre not there every night and now you have Sofia every single day and its going to be harder to get time alone especially in a new city where you dont know any one. But its what you do," Meredith sighed.

"You told me you left to find yourself to feel free and a month later you're dating again. That's doesn't seem like finding yourself you just feel into old habits. You did what you do best you found some one to lay under you and you clung. You're a stage five clinger, you love the idea of being in love and you hung on to that," Meredith explained.
"That's," Callie was stunned by Meredith's honesty.
"Its the truth and you needed to hear it. You asked, Arizona has been struggling since she bought those tickets. She's been bending and breaking herself trying to make you happy. And your blissfully oblivious to it all just in your own world. I dont think you ever stopped for one moment to think about how this has effected everyone around you," Meredith pointed out.

"I think you need a vacation to just escape a little bit you know. This last year has been hell for you, and I think you deserve some tropical sun and i have some vacation days," Teddy suggested.

I looked like she had a hundred lacerations across her body. Every though it was more like 20 everything looked so big.
"Oh,"Arizona woke up with a panic.
"Hey, dont fight, we got you, you'll be okay," Bailey uttered.

Jackson came with a sedative to calm Arizona down.

"I paged Neuro i think she might have a concussion and maybe a brain bleed since she was found concussion," Wilson told Bailey.
"That was the right thing, check her out Shepherd then page Pierce, I already checked her out and there seems to be nothing wrong with her poutwardly so after pierce checks her out get her up to imaging I want X-ray, ct, and a MRI then have Avery come stitch her up. But clean her up for now while Shephard is working," Miranda instructed.
"Maybe you can take a step back have Meredith do this, if its too much," AMelia heard the quiver in Mirandas voice
"It's not to much I just need a second, page me before you take her up for imaging," Miranda requested before leaving out of the trauma room.

"Nicole said the car hit her right side, so I don't even know what caused her to pass out.I mean she seemingly has nothing wrong with her heart maybe she has some underlaying condition or something. But her blood pressure is steady, she's breathing fine," Maggie tried to come up with something.
"Arizona never deserved this, i mean she was coming from the airport to let her kid move thousands of miles away," Amelia spoke.

A tumor the size of a grapefruit was sat right in the middle of her frontal lobe.
"Jesus," Maggie whispered.
"This has been there for a while,"Amelia spoke up first.
"How big is it," Maggie wondered.
"To me it looks about 7 or 8 cm id estimate," Amelia guessed.
"How long do you think it's been growing," Maggie questioned.
"It's hard to tell just through imaging but I'd say years," Amelia told her.
"Do you think she'll wake," Maggie wondered.
"I hope, and pray," Amelia admitted.
"I think shes waking," Is what arizona was greeted with once she regain consciousness.

"Wait i cant move my toes," Arizona started to panic.
"Can you feel that," Amelia moved the back of her pant light across the bottom of Arizonas foot.

"You where in a car accident," Meredith stepped forward.
"Good so im losing another leg," Arizona concluded.

"Arizona Robbins, age 38 lacerations to skin on the face upper arm and hand with a tumor on her frontal lobe," Stephanie read off the tablet.
"Tumor," Arizona voice became small.
"Dr. Avery has treated the lacerations," Stephanie continued.
"Tumor," Arizona said louder.
"Yes you have a tumor pressing down on your frontal lobe," Amelia cleared her throat.
"Let me see," Arizona breathed.
Dr. Edwards passed her ther tablet with the scans.
"This can't be right," Arizona stared at the tumor in the scans.
"We have reason to believe its been growing for six years.'
"So right before I left for Malawi.'
"It is around 7.5 cm," Amelia stated.
"So its been growing this whole time."
"Yes."
"The migraines only started 2 years ago," Arizona admitted.
"That's when it started to press down on here,"She pointed to the scans.
"So, i have a tumor?"
"Yes, but I believe I can get it out."
"I believe, they teach you during residency to say i believe to put faith in the patient when the odds are slim."
"This is a big tumor and other doctors would turn you away but i have full faith I can get it," Amelia expressed.
"What if i dont let you operate."
"Well its been effecting your impulse control for the last four years, and now its starting to spill over into the area that controls you motor function and next it'll be speech and sight then it'll be your sound. And eventually you'll end up a vegetable, you wont be able to move see , hear or talk, and I mean they have things that could help you. But your quality of life with be decreased," Amelia told her.
Arizona tried to wiggle her toes but it proved to be difficult.
"How long do i have till it starts," Arizona wondered?
"The car crash as fast tracked some of your symptoms, so i say give or take a month it'll you be completely paralyzed. I assume it'll take long till your sight, speech and hearing so i say give or take till the end of the year."

"How about we give her some space to process this," Amelia suggested.
"Hey love bug how's New York," Arizona answered the phone with the brightest smile.

"It is," Arizona tried to keep from crying knowing the reality was that she wouldn't see her in 8 days.

"Alright goose i think its time for you to finish getting ready for bed," Arizona suggested before she booked down in front of her daughter.
