"What happens now?" Buffy asked.

"Now we rebuild Sunnydale. We make it the way it should have been, from the beginning." Charles said. "Chases and Harris' have been here for four generations. Levinson's and McNally's for three. Coral moved here when she was a child. We've all invested alot of quite literal blood in this town. Without the Hellmouth, demon and vampire activity will drop considerably. Our kids can have a life, a future. We can help Buffy and Faith get better."

"The Mayor left everything he had to Faith. He really did come to love her as a daughter." Madelyn told them.

"Except I don't want it. It's all blood money, so Mr. Chase, there, is going to help me clean it all up and use it to help people."

"She's going to live here, until she graduates High School."

"I must protest!" Wesley said. "The Slayer is the Watchers Council's responsibility. We have been supporting the Slayer for over a thousand years."

"Trying to control her, you mean." James said.

"And you have no legal authority where Faith Lehaine is concerned anyway." Agent Sheppard said. "The Mayor formally adopted her. She was being fostered, legitimately, by her last Watcher, Diana Dormer. She is an orphan. A seventeen year old orphan. In California, the age of majority is sixteen. Which means she can make decisions for herself. She's agreed to live with the Chases. Whether you like it or not, Mr. Wyndom-Price, neither you nor the Watchers Council can do anything about that. You don't have the legal authority. Not anywhere. And I can always leave the supernatural out of my report and still arrest you for attempted kidnapping, so don't push your luck."

"Beyond that, we look forward to being grandparents."

"Not for a long time!" Charles exclaimed. "Cordelia is still my baby girl!"

"Don't worry, we're not ready to be parents." Xander said.

"Some day, though." Cordelia smiled.
