Chapter 5: So Many Snacks, So Little Time
Date: Tuesday 18th June 2013
Time: 8:59am
Location: Thomas Ewen High School, Chamberlain, Maine
The next day, Eleanor and Edward decided to drop Carrie and Sue off at school, they were going to speak to Principal Morton about Margaret's abuse towards Carrie, and see what could be done about her, though they had decided to keep it quiet about what was going on with Carrie from within… Since last Night, Sue and her family had let Carrie stay with them, not just to protect from her mother, but also to keep an eye on Carrie, knowing there was something… alien, happening about her, unaware what it truly was… Sue had also helped Carrie dress into a new fashion, mainly a light grey pullover hoodie, a black t-shirt, blue jeans and black sneakers, it may not have been the most fashionable to wear, but to Carrie, it was better than wearing all the homemade clothes that she or her mother would make…
As Carrie and Sue entered the school, they noticed a lot of students whispering and laughing about her, just a Tommy appeared, he was looking like he was going to warn them about something…
"Hi Tommy, What's up?" Sue asked in concern.
"Sorry girls, but Chris and her friends have vandalized Carrie's Locker…" Tommy warned the two girls, just as Sue received a text from Chris…
Sue then looked at her phone, before reacting in disgust in anger… Carrie & Tommy then looked, to see that Chris had sent a link, to her recording of Carrie's period incident… before they also looked in disgust & anger too…
Carrie, Sue & Tommy could then hear Chris and the ultras laughing from nearby…
"Those girls all deserve to get their heads bitten off!" The voice in Carrie's head growled aggressively.
"We can't just eat them in public…" Carrie whispered, trying to keep herself and the voice under control…
Carrie then powerwalked to her locker, with Sue & Tommy following, worried, seeing Carrie was not acting the shy and scared time, but instead, was starting to show signs of behavior had her mother had most likely prohibited her from… this also made Sue & Tommy wonder more about what the thong that was causing Carrie to hear voices… as well as what else it could make her do…
As Carrie approached her locker, seeing the words: 'CARRIE WHITE EATS SHIT!', that had been spray painted onto her locker, Carrie then noticed Chris and the Ultras, including 2 friends of Chris's Boyfriend, Billy Nolan: Jackie Talbot & Kenny Garson, were all laughing and taking photos of what they'd done, before they noticed Carrie standing before them…
"Oh, look everyone, it's the freakshow!" Chris called out, as she and nearly everyone laughed at Carrie…
"Tell her to shut up Carrie!" The voice said in Carrie's head sternly.
"Oh, shut up Chris, just shut up!" Carrie snapped back at Chris in anger, before covering her mouth in shock of what she had just said…
"What the fuck you just say you bitch?!" Chris said in shock and anger, from the first time Carrie White had ever retaliated to her…
"Nothing…" Carrie squeaked nervously…
"Say Sorry Now!" Chris growled as she started powerwalking at Carrie, only for Carrie's fist to launch at Chris, along a with a black tendril, as it shot out of Carrie's arm, hitting Chris in the face, as Chris gasped in shock and pain…
The whole audience gasped in shock, for first time Carrie White had ever resorted to a violent act at Chris Hargensen… Sue & Tommy were shocked too, but knew this wasn't Carrie's intention… this was something else…
"I'm so Sorry, I don't know what came over me there, please let me see…" Carrie said in shock…
"I think you've broken my nose…" Chris whimpered, as she moved her hands away from her face…
"THEN WE'LL BREAK IT AGAIN!" The Voice called in Carrie's head, as Carrie's fist shot again with another tendril, hitting Chris's nose again, as Chris screamed in pain… before looking at Carrie in real anger…
"YOU FUCKING BITCH!" Chris roared, as she viciously slapped Carrie across her left cheek, as Carrie's face went right, before turning back towards Chris with an even more vicious look…
Chris went for another slap, only for Carrie to grab Chris's hand… But then Carrie's eyes turned white, as her teeth also formed into sharp jaws, as she began to bite savagely into Chris's hand, causing Chris to scream and sob in pain, as everyone was gasping in shock from what they were seeing…
When Chris was able to break free from Carrie, her hand massive jaw marks in her hand, and were bleeding heavily… Carrie was now gasping in horror, as her eyes turned normal again, and teeth returned, but were covered in blood…
"What's going on?" Miss Desjardin called…
Carrie then ran through the crowd of students, as she her gym teacher's voice, Sue & Tommy quickly followed, while Miss Desjardin tended to Chris and tried to find out what had happened…
(Meanwhile…)
Carrie ran into girl's bathroom, gagging with disgust from the taste of Chris's blood, before throwing up in one of the toilets…
"What is happening to me?" Carrie asked herself nervously.
"Carrie? Carrie, are you in here?" Sue called in concern…
"I'm here Sue…" Carrie replied, as she slowly and nervously came out from the toilet, after flushing it…
"Are you alright Carrie?" Sue asked, trying to keep calm...
"I punched Chris twice, breaking her nose, and then bitten into her hand, you expect me to be alright?" Carrie replied in shock, even from what she was saying…
"She deserved it! Her Blood tastes good though…" The voice said in a satisfied tone.
"Oh, stop it, please!" Carrie sternly replied, looking away from Sue.
"What? I was only stating the obvious…" The voice replied, playing the innocent tone.
"Just… Stop hurting people, before we get into real trouble!" Carrie warned the voice.
"Fine… But no promises!" The voice replied again, now unsatisfied, as Carrie turned her attention back to Sue.
"Looks like you're struggling a bit Carrie…" Sue said in concern, from seeing everything.
"I honestly don't know what to do Sue, anyone who tries to mock or hurt me ends up getting themselves hurt…" Carrie said, about to break down, as Sue embarrassed her into a warming hug.
(Meanwhile, in Principal Morton's Office…)
"Are you honestly sure, Mrs. Snell?" Principal Morton asked in concern and worry.
"Sue & Tommy found her walking down a street late last night, she even admitted it to us, after we took her in." Eleanor replied.
"I certainly believe you, but I'm not sure about going to the police, I mean, we don't really have any proper evidence against her…" Principal Morton explained.
Just then, there was a sudden knock at Principal Morton's office door, before Tina came in…
"What is it, Tina?" Principal Morton asked in an interrupted response.
"2 things: 1. Carrie White has put Chris in the school infirmary with a broken nose and chewed hand. 2. There are some strange men in black asking about Carrie…" Tina replied in a confused tone.
Principal Morton was really confused, to him, Carrie White would never harm anyone, not even Chris, but to hear that was surprising shocking, as he then got up, to see these men who were suddenly asking about Carrie as well, as he got up. Eleanor and Edward were shocked too, but automatically knew what made Carrie do that…
"Can I help you sir?" Morton asked, as he stood before Carlton Drake, along with some men.
"Mr Morton, I'm Carlton Drake, I'm from the L.I.F.E Foundation, I do apologies for interrupting you, But I'm here because, we have a belief, that one of your students here, may have contracted something… something dangerous." Drake introduced and explained why he was there.
"What do you mean by dangerous? Which student are you talking about?" Morton replied in concern and confusion.
"A girl named Carrie White; we have some footage of something unusual happening with her…" Drake replied. "Treece, show him the footage."
"Yes, Mr Drake." Treece replied, as he showed the footage of Carrie being pinned to the wall by the hospital, by an unknown black liquid like mass, coming from her own body…
(Meanwhile, further down the hall…)
Sue & Tommy were guiding Carrie, after calming her down, towards the principal's office…
"Are you feeling any better Carrie?" Tommy asked in concern…
"A little bit, but I'm not sure going to Principal Morton is a good idea, especially as he's more than likely heard about what happened with Chris…" Carrie replied calm but nervously still…
"I don't think it's him you need worry about Carrie…" The Voice said, as Carrie gave a confused look… "It's them…"
Treece & his men then saw Carrie, Sue & Tommy, before they quickly turned to them…
"Carrie White?" Treece asked, as Carrie nervously and slowly nodded with worry. "I'm gonna need Mr Drakes Property back."
Before Carrie, Sue or Tommy could answer, Treece's men armed themselves with stun guns & Tasers, aiming them at Carrie, causing her, Sue & Tommy to put their hands up…
"Treece, what the hell are you doing?!" Drake said sternly, demanding to know what he was doing, while trying not to panic everyone.
"Just doing my job, Mr Drake." Treece replied.
"More to the point, what are you doing Carrie?" The Voice asked in confusion.
"Surrendering, what does it look like?" Carrie replied nervously, not wanting to be shot, worrying what could happen next…
"You're making us bad!" The voice said sternly back, as Carrie's suddenly dropped, not under her control.
"No, I'm not." Carrie replied, while trying to lift her arms back up…
"Yes, you are!" The voice replied again, as it and Carrie struggled for control.
"Carrie, what's going on?" Principal Morton asked in confusion and concern.
"It's not me, something's controlling me!" Carrie replied in fright.
"Take her down." Treece ordered, as his men fired their stun guns & Tasers, shocking Carrie, but within seconds, Carrie arms fired multiple black tendrils, hitting Treece's men, sending them flying to the other end of the school, this began to cause students and teachers to leave their classes, to see what was going on, including Sue's parents, and even Miss Desjardin…
"Treece, you idiot!" Drake yelled at him, before Treece was grabbed by another of Carrie's tendrils.
"I'm so sorry for you and your friends…" Carrie said nervously towards Drake & Treece, before slamming Treece into some lockers…
More of Treece's men began rushing into the school, attempting to capture Carrie. Drake ordered them to stand down, while Principal Morton ordered students & teachers back into their classes, Sue & Tommy were trying, like Drake & Morton, to calm Carrie down, but there was so much commotion, they had to back off, to Sue's parents…
As many more of Treece's men went for Carrie, Carrie's arms turned black, before grabbing and ripping some lockers off the walls with her tendrils, before throwing the lockers at Treece's men, some ducked, while the rest got hit, knocking them over or out, and pinning others to the wall… many of the students & Teachers was shocked or screaming from what they had all just witnessed Carrie White do… Carrie was Horrified at what she was causing… the remaining men of Treece, some of them tried to shot Carrie with pistols or machine guns, but the black alien mass blocked all the bullets, absorbing them, before shooting them back at them, injuring most of them. The remaining men, who tried going for Carrie up-close, all got manhandled, most were slammed into lockers, or out of windows, one got choke slammed, another got kicked in the head into another locker, one even managed to punch Carrie, only for Carrie to grab his arms with only her left arm, before punching him in the head, and then flung out another window…
"Outstanding Carrie, Now, lets bite all their heads off and pile them all in the corner." The voice said in amazement.
"Why in god's name would we do that?" Carrie asked in shock.
"Pile of Bodies, Pile of heads…" The Voice replied.
Suddenly, Carrie heard a loud bang, before she felt immense pain surging right through her chest, as she swung and fell back into a locker… she had been shot, as Blood began turning her grey hoodie red… Treece had shot Carrie in the back, as he made his way over to her, as Carrie slowly fell down the locker to the ground… Carrie tried to stop the bleeding, but she could feel the life draining out of her, as he felt weaker and weaker…
"Treece, What the Hell was That?!" Drake yelled at him again, as he approached the injured Carrie, but as he got to Carrie, Carrie's face dropped, like her body had just stopped functioning altogether, as blood continued to pour out of Carrie's body…
Sue and Tommy were horrified, along with the rest of the school, thinking they had all just witnessed the murder/Death of their school outcast… some even began to form tears in their eyes, from all they had just witnessed, as well as all the horrid bullying they had put her through over the years…
Treece crouched down to Carrie… BUT THEN…
Carrie's arm grabbed Treece tightly by the throat, as Carrie's head shot back up, while gasping back to life. Suddenly, the black alien mass began oozing and covering her entire body, even her chest wound healed almost instantly, the alien mass even absorbed all her lost blood on the floor and lockers. Carrie then stood up, still grabbing Treece's throat, as the alien Black mass, made her coated body taller and evenly more feminine and muscular, with white vessels, & sharp claws on her fingers and toes, as Carrie's entire head, even her hair, was then overtaken by the alien mass, forming a much larger head, with 2 large white aggressive looking eyes, with matching sharp like lashes on the sides, and 2 layers or large sharp teeth and fangs in her mouth…
"Eyes… Lungs… Pancreas… Some many snacks, so little time…" snarled the creature the Carrie had transformed into, as she slowly and aggressively licked Treece's head, with her long slimy and slithering tongue…
Everyone was shocked enough Carrie had almost been killed, but to see her spring back to life, and transform into some unknown alien monster, was terrifying….
But as Carrie, in her alien monster form, was about eat Treece alive, she was shot in back again, by another of Treece's with a shotgun, and no effect on Carrie's alien body… Carrie then dropped Treece, turning her attention to the other man who shot… & aggressively bit his head clean off, swallowing it in a second… causing some students and teachers to scream in shock…
Carrie then began to make a run for it, jumping from wall to wall, causing everyone to run screaming or jump out of the way wherever she landed, before charging towards the main entrance, smashing her way through the doors, and leaping towards and across buildings… leaving the entire school in shock…
Carrie then landed in alley way, before her alien mass form retracted back into her human body, returning her to human form…
"Oh my, Oh my God! My chest… I was shot, I was shot through my chest, but… But it, but it's healed… What is happening to me?" Carrie gasped in shock, before sitting down behind a rubbish dumpster, so no one would see her…
Carrie began worrying and wondering what was happening to her, as well as what was that voice, that thing that got her in showers the other day, made her aggressive to her mama & Chris even, shooting tendrils out of her body, and saved her from death, turning into a large monster… as Carrie tried to process these thoughts and events, a tendrils formed out of her back, forming the face of the creature she had just become, as she and the entity within her, made direct eye contact…
"Hi Carrie…" The creature said, as Carrie was nervous and scared, but didn't break eye contact…
"Who or What in God's name are you?" Carrie asked wonder and worry.
"I, am Venom… & you are mine, Carrie." Venom introduced herself.
"You saved my life… But you also bit someone's head off…" Carrie said in surprise and shock, remembering all that had happened a few minutes ago…
"Fuel in the tank… You see Carrie, you didn't find us, we found you… Think of yourself as my ride…" Venom continued to explain, as Carrie remembered again from her shower meltdown after gym class the other day.
"Why are you here? How did you even get here anyway?" Carrie asked in concern.
"We were brought here to earth, by your kind… there was a space shuttle crash not far from this town, we were onboard… but some of us escaped…" Venom explained further. "The shuttle was owned by a company called the LIFE Foundation… Those men who tried to get us, must be them…"
"What were they gonna do you? What could they do to me even?" Carrie asked in more worry.
"I'm not sure… But it doesn't sound good… & I personally wouldn't want either of us to be captured by them…"Venom replied.
"But why me? You could have just picked another person to possess…" Carrie said, still in worry.
"As much as you are right, and that you are my first human host… I can see and feel much more sympathy and relations to you… You are an outcast, Carrie… But I'm an outcast myself, like you… but maybe… Together, we could be something much greater…"Venom continued to explain, as Carrie wasn't too sure about Venom, but chose to play along to be safe...
"So… What happens now, are… are you gonna eat anyone else?" Carrie asked again.
"Most likely…"Venom replied, confirming Carrie's fears of hurting more people who may try to harm her… "But don't worry Carrie, it'll only be those who are truly threats to us… Co-operate, and you'll live to tell…"
