The World of Literature, Present-Day. In this world, occupied by characters from books, fairy tales, nursery rhymes, and other forms of literature, chaos was about to reign. The chaos that was forming through was that the White Witch Jadis of Narnia wanted an endless winter in the world. "Always Winter, Never a single Christmas" were her direct words, said to herself. That would eventually turn into a reality of its own…one fateful day, that is.

"Endless winter in our world, never a single Christmas, that is." said Jadis, the White Witch. "Go with the curse, let winter serve well! Around the World of Literature, cast my forever spell!" The spell was later cast. However, the spell didn't affect the entire world. Only parts of it, that was. Jadis didn't know of it at all until moments later. Depression started to grow in her, likely due to the great failure of her winterous spell.

"Did you see that, Moonwatcher?" asked the dragon Luna after witnessing the White Witch Jadis cast her winterous spell.

"I saw it, Luna." said Moonwatcher. "I mean, seriously. We are going to fall into a world of depression with this endless winter the White Witch cast on our world!"

"We need help from someone." said Luna. "Come on, Moonwatcher. Let's see what we as world inhabitants can do to stop this depressing curse." Luna and Moonwatcher flew off to get some assistance.

Meanwhile, with Clare, she had just gotten into school. Mr. Stark, her homeroom teacher, was running a bit late due to a flat tire on his car, and he would be at class a couple minutes late. However, while Clare was walking to her homeroom period class, she was stopped by a bunch of seventh grade boys who actually turned out to be bullies.

"You think Mr. Stark and Principal Hampshire are gonna believe that you went behind the lockers, Clare? Think again when I put you in here!" one boy said as he threw Clare in a locker.

"Hey!" Clare exclaimed. "Let me out! You boneheaded bullies will pay for this!"

"Shut up, Clare!" said another bully boy.

Clare later sighed. She was left helpless. But little did she know she would end up in another world behind the lockers again, just like last time.
