-"Shut upppp, you don't love anyone" Haru replied, laughing . Keanu smirked.

-"You don't have to call me out like that you know" He said, putting out his cigarette on his neck.

"Besides, you know how sensitive I am to that" he added, sarcastically.

-"Oh shut up you big baby, what are you even doing here? Isn't class supposed to start for you soon?" Haru questioned the young jackal, looking at him up and down.

-"Well, I guess I can be a bit late" He laughed and pulled Haru close to him, looking in her small black eyes. She blushed, and gave him a small kiss on the cheek.

-"You should leave though, I need to take care of my plants, and you need to get to class." She replied and let go of him.

-"Right, see ya later Haru" Keanu patted her head and left towards the door.

He was walking towards the classroom when suddenly he remembered

-"FUCK, MY BAG" He yelled and ran back to his room to pick up his book bag.

Suddenly, he ran face-first into another carnivore. They both fell to the floor. Keanu took a moment lying on the floor to regain his bearings, and then he turned to see the animal he just knocked down. He looked up to see big black stripes on a strong orange body.

-"HEY, WATCH IT ASSHOLE" The tiger replied in an angry tone, growling and showing his fangs.

Keanu got up, and said "Fuck off ya orange twat" He started running towards his room again. The tiger growled louder, and then left his own separate finally made it to his room, but only to find the housemother standing in front of his door, looking at him.

-"Forgetting something?" She said in a stern tone. Keanu muttered "fuck" under his breath

-"Right, yeah, my book bag. Can i get in my room now?" He said while reaching for the door handle. The housemother cut him off

-"There's still a strong odor coming from your room, cigarettes and alcohol to be precise. Along with a hint of marijuana. You wouldn't know anything about that would you?" she asked angrily, looking at Keanu like he was the devil himself.

-"No ma'am I would not, now if you'll excuse me I need to get into my room." He pushed her away slightly, unlocked his room and entered it.

He had a sigh of relief and then grabbed his book bag. He also grabbed his wallet and phone. Leaving the room, he gave the housemother a nod, locked the doors and left for class.

6 Pm rolls around, and class is over. Keanu drops off his stuff at his room and gets out of his school uniform. He looked at himself in the mirror, nude for a bit, posing in various poses.

-"Fuck me, I look good" He said quietly and chuckled. He went and changed into a nice dress shirt, suit pants and sneakers. He took his phone and texted someone

Keanu: Hey bro, you still up for tonight?

?: Ha, course i am. I already got us a Vip spot, it's gonna be tight.

Keanu: Bet, see ya soon

He exited his room, and walked outside into the academy courtyard. He lit up a joint and started walking towards the train station.

Legoshi was nervous, and sweating bullets. Tem had just died, and he did not know how to react. This was the first time he saw predatory instincts truly take over and take someone's life. It disturbed him greatly. He felt a wave of hopelessness wash over him. Does this mean anyone can die? At any time? In a school no less, where students are supposed to be safe, where herbivores and carnivores are supposed to get along, and be equals. He quickly snapped out of it, and remembered what he came to do. He must give Els the letter Tem was planning to give her.

You see, Tem had a huge crush on Els, a cute girl from drama club. He was planning to confess his love to her but, he tragically died. Legoshi felt obligated to deliver that letter to Els, no matter what it took. He could never pick a right time to do it though. He had to do it when she was alone. He followed her all day, just out of her sight. Even though she couldn't see him, she could certainly feel his presence. That night, he got his chance. Els was walking to her dorm with a friend, and when she was alone Legoshi approached her. She was terrified, and yelled at him to stay back, holding out a pair of scissors while doing so. Legoshi ignored her and grabbed her hand. Els closed her eyes, waiting for death to take her. But, she instead heard a soft voice

-"This is for you, it's a letter" Legoshi said nervously "Tem wanted to give it to you, but he never got the chance."

Els was very confused, but she took the letter and read it. Tears welled up in her eyes... They both sat on a bench and chatted for a bit, reminiscing about Tem, how funny he was, how kind he was. Eventually, they parted ways. Els promised Legoshi that she will let everyone know that he is not a monster, but instead a kind and gentle wolf. Legoshi sighed and headed towards his dorm.

But on his way there, he saw a mysterious figure standing in front of a tree in the courtyard. He could smell it, it was a carnivore, that's for sure, a male one. But, he smelled like alcohol, and as well... urine? It was strange, to say the least. Legoshi approached the figure carefully. As he got close, the figure seemed to notice him.

-"Hey can you fuck off? I'm trying to piss here." The figure muttered angrily. Legoshi stepped back, surprised.

-"Oh, oh, I am so sorry!"Legoshi replied, turning around.

After a short while, he heard the buckling of a belt and footsteps, he turned back around. Under the light of the school he could now see the figure. It was a jackal, about as tall as him, and handsome.

-"Name's Keanu, nice to meet you." The young jackal said offering his hand out to Legoshi. Legoshi just looked at his hand, and then him.

-"Oh, right, let's skip the handshake." He said and chuckled. "Hey, you look familiar, we met before?"

-"Um, today I think, near Tem's memorial" Legoshi replied nervously. There was something off about this animal, but he could just not put his finger on what it was. He couldn't look into his eyes for more than a few seconds.

-"Ha, yeah I knew it. Anyways let's head off to the dorm yeah? It's late and the housemother is gonna be up our asses." Keanu said and started walking towards the dorm, Legoshi followed, begrudgingly.

-"So what year are you? Sophomore like me?" Keanu asked

-"Yeah...yeah." Legoshi replied "Um, where were you this late?"

-"Hm? Why do you care?" Keanu cut out.

-"I.. I was just curious..." Legoshi said quietly.

-"Well don't be, you don't seem like the type to know the places I go to." Keanu laughed. They both walked to their respective dorms, Keanu's was one floor above Legoshi's.

-"Right, this is where we part ways I guess, I'll see ya around wolf boy" Keanu blurted out and went upstairs before Legoshi could even walked into his dorm to find everyone asleep. He changed to his pajamas and sat on his bed for a bit, thinking over everything.

-"Where were you off to so late Legoshi?" Jack asked curiously from the top bunk.

-"Oh, I had some things to take care of... Met this weird dude though. He was coming home from the city, and it's a Monday too! What the hell was he doing?" Legoshi replied, still puzzled as to what exactly Keanu was doing.

-"Ah a lotta young people go out nowadays, any day of the week. Anyways get some sleep Legoshi, we've got a big day tomorrow." Jack yawned and rolled over to sleep.

-"Right, good night Jack" Legoshi replied and laid down to sleep. He was still thinking over everything, until eventually he fell asleep.
