The cafeteria was bursting with energy. Hundreds or carnivores and herbivores alike were enjoying their lunch. All but one. Something was very wrong with Legoshi. He seemed distant, his mood was even darker than usual. He looked like he went through something traumatic. He couldn't even bring himself to eat his own lunch. He was trapped alone in his thoughts.

-"1000 Yen says that he's meat drunk" Keanu said to Aoba and laughed, looking at Legoshi from the next table over. Aoba smirked

-"Who? Legoshi? Nah, no way, he's way too shy and afraid to even think about going to the black market" Aoba responded, sipping his soda.

They were both eating their school mandated lunches. All vegan food, since meat is highly prohibited. Keanu was rolling up a joint while Aoba watched. When he finally rolled it up, he got up to leave

-"Right Aoba mate, I'll see ya later." Keanu told Aoba and got up from the table. As he was about to walk out of the cafeteria he heard a loud yell from behind him

-"HEY WHY ARE YOU STEPPING ON MY TAIL!" A young fox yelled, grabbing a mongoose by his shirt collar.

-"It was an accident, what are you in love with me or something?" The mongoose replied and pushed the fox back.

They kept arguing, getting more aggressive by the second. Suddenly the fox bit the mongoose by the arm. The whole cafeteria screamed in terror. Keanu chuckled and decided he was gonna get in on this. He walked back to his table, looking at Aoba who was frozen, not knowing what to do. Keanu grabbed his empty lunch tray and walked towards the two. Just as he was about to swing at the fox's head he was interrupted by another loud yell.

-"ENOUGH!" Legoshi yelled. The whole cafeteria went silent.

Keanu was surprised by this, to say the least. He slowly put his tray back on the table. Legoshi covered his mouth, clearly regretting what he just said. Keanu stifled his laugh, covering his mouth as well.

-"What did you just say to me?" The fox looked at Legoshi and started approaching him. "What, just cause you're a large carnivore you think you can take me on!? Come at me, I'll rip your throat out." Keanu slowly grabbed his lunch tray again, aiming to swing.

-"N-no you got it all wrong. I'm sorry I don't know what came over me" Legoshi responded in a panicked voice. Keanu lifted the tray above his head, but just in the nick of time another voice was heard from across the Cafeteria.

-"Showing your fangs to another student is a violation of school rules you know." A strong voice spoke.

The entire cafeteria erupted in cheering. It was who else but Louis. Keanu put his lunch tray down again, seeing that the situation is over.

-"Get out of here, both of you. You're gonna be reported to the principal, and he's gonna deal with you." Louis spoke in a stern manner. The two carnivores quickly left the cafeteria. The entire cafeteria cheered once again, this time also chanting "BEASTAR".

(Beastar? Oh, right,beastar. The highest honor an animal can receive. Man, if anyone's deserving of that title it's Louis. I mean Christ, the guy is adored by everyone, diplomatic as hell, beautiful to look at, and he's got a tight ass. What more could anyone want from a beastar?) Keanu thought to himself.

Louis pulled Legoshi aside and talked to him for a bit, leaving Legoshi with a surprised expression. Louis approached Keanu

-"As for you, I am sorry for treating you like that yesterday. You came to help me in a time of need, when I least expected it too. For that I'm grateful." The deer spoke, his piercing gaze looking through Keanu's bloodshot eyes, still hungover from the night before.

-"Yeah man it's no problem, just don't be a dick and I think we could get along." Keanu responded. Louis smirked and walked out of the cafeteria. Keanu approached Legoshi.

-"You good man? That was a dumb move you pulled back there." Keanu laughed

-"Y-yeah, sorry I'm still a bit shaken up from the night before" Legoshi responded and looked down at his feet, almost as if he was embarrassed.

-"Oh right, the night before. Well man I rolled up a nice joint, what do you say we go up on the roof to smoke up for a bit and chat?" Keanu suggested.

-"Marijuana? Are you crazy? You can't have that stuff here. You'll get us both in trouble!" Legoshi whispered very nervously. In his 2 years here he has never acted out of line, let alone even do something as bad as have drugs on academy grounds.

-"Oh relax will ya, I've been doing this for 2 years and I've never been caught, just follow my lead. And besides, you look like you could use a good conversation don't you think? We've got some time to kill before classes start. What do you say? I'm going with or without you." Keanu said and started walking towards the door.

-"W-wait! Fine,I'll come with you" Legoshi responded and started walking with Keanu "But if we get in trouble I'm blaming everything on you!"

-"Haha, fine by me" Keanu responded. They walked out of the cafeteria and towards the stairs to the roof.
