Keanu and Legoshi walked up to the rooftop entrance. Legoshi was sweating bullets. What if they get caught? What if someone sees them, smells them or hell even hears that they went to the roof? Keanu on the other hand had absolutely no worries. He was even whistling on the way there, not a care in the world. Had he done this before? Of course he has.
Keanu opened the rooftop door. There was a beautiful garden there. Filled with plants and flowers. Legoshi took a moment to soak in the beauty of it all.
-"Come on chap, the girl who tends the garden isn't here for a couple more hours. There's a bench over there." Keanu told Legoshi, pulling out the joint from his pocket. They sat on a nearby bench. Keanu lit up the joint and did a french inhale. Legoshi watched in awe quietly.
-"You smoke?" Keanu asked, offering the joint to Legoshi
-"N-no thank you, I'm good" Legoshi said, turning his head away a bit, looking behind him to see if anybody came to the roof while they weren't looking.
-"Ah come on, one won't hurt ya" Keanu insisted
-"No, seriously, I'm good" Legoshi responded, a bit more nervously
-"You won't know till you try." Keanu said with a smile
Legoshi sighed and reluctantly took the joint out of Keanu's hand. He struggled a bit looking at how he is gonna smoke it. Eventually, he put the joint in his mouth and inhaled some smoke. He instantly started coughing. Keanu laughed and took the joint out of Legoshi's hand.
-"You've got some practicing to do." Keanu said with a giggle. Legoshi was still coughing. Keanu gave him some water from his bag and that seemed to calm him down.
-"Yeah no thanks, I don't think I'll be doing that again." Legoshi said and coughed one more time. Keanu kept smoking and the two sat in silence for a few moments.
-"Right, so, what the fuck was that yesterday? Near the fountain?" Keanu asked, raising his eyebrow suspiciously.
-"Oh, oh it was nothing. I was just tying my shoe and you scared me, that's all" Legoshi replied nervously. He started fidgeting with his hands. Keanu noticed this.
-"Mhm, I see." Keanu responded, not believing a word of what Legoshi just said. "It's funny, I almost thought you were meat drunk, or at the very least tried to devour someone."
As soon as those words came out of Keanu's mouth, Legoshi's tail lifted straight up.
-"HA, I FUCKING CALLED IT" Keanu yelled out excitedly. "EITHER YOU'RE HORNY OR GOT VERY NERVOUS"
-"Wh-What? No, no I didn't-" Legoshi stuttered nervously, trying to defend himself.
-"No need to bullshit me, I wouldn't have reported you anyways. But do tell me what happened I'm dying to know." Keanu said in a soft tone, reassuring Legoshi.
Legoshi calmed down a little and began speaking softly
-"That night... I was watching the doors of the auditorium so nobody would come in and see Louis and Zoe rehearsing. I... I smelled something. An herbivore, alone. I don't know what came over me, but as soon as I saw her running I jumped at her. I held her in my arms, she was so soft, so warm. I wanted to devour her, but then you came along..." Legoshi explained. Keanu saw that this was very hard for him. He reached his arm out to hug Legoshi... but he stopped himself. Keanu cleared his throat.
-"Well, you didn't do anything, I'd say you're lucky. If you had devoured that herbivore who knows what would've happened to you." Keanu responded, inhaling in his joint one more time and throwing the filter away.
-"I don't know, the guilt has been wrecking me all morning. I can't eat or touch anything soft. I feel sick." Legoshi said and looked down sadly. Keanu chuckled.
-"Guilt's a worthless feeling anyway. No fixing what's been done, why wreck your head about it?" Keanu responded
-"No, you don't understand. I should absolutely feel guilty. I almost devoured that poor herbivore, she thought she would be safe at the academy. She's probably terrified now. I might have scarred her for life. You can't tell me to not feel guilty about that." Legoshi responded, raising his tone a bit, sounding almost...angry? (Why would he be this emotional about just one herbivore?) Keanu thought to himself. "We should get back to class." Legoshi said and got up from the bench.
-"You go on ahead mate, I'm waiting on someone. And hey, try taking mints, they'll ease a bit of those headaches and grim moods you're feeling cause of last night." Keanu said and laid down on the bench, his hands behind his head.
-"Thanks, I'll remember that. You're a good guy Keanu." Legoshi said and wagged his tail a slight bit.
-"Yeah I know, I'm the best. Anyways you run off now Legoshi, love youu." Keanu said in a flirty tone. Legoshi stood there confused for a second, but snapped out of it and walked out of the roof entrance. Keanu put on some sunglasses and played some music on his phone speakers. He was gonna relax a bit. Not like he was doing much work anyways.
