The dark streets echoed from the gunfire. Keanu was desperately holding onto his father, he was losing blood fast. His ears still ringing, he faintly heard a voice speak.

-"What, did you think you could run?" The voice spoke, barely intelligible through the constant ringing. "You fucking steal from me, and you think I won't find you?"

Keanu was barely listening, he focused on applying pressure to his dad's wound. But he could see it was in vain, life was slowly leaving his eyes. Through his dying breaths, his father spoke.

-"I did it for you.." He barely spoke. His eyes went back in his head and his body went limp. Keanu was in an incredible state of shock.

-"It takes balls, I like that, no I RESPECT that." The voice kept speaking. Keanu turned his head to see 3 bobcats standing maybe 5 meters away from him. The one in the middle had a gun that was still smoking. He was dressed in a sharp white suit, while the other two were dressed in all black, just like the 3 dead ones upstairs. He had a nasty scar over his cheek, and Keanu could make out a tattoo on his neck. A white rose. On his right side.

"You know what? I'm gonna give you a 30 second head start. And if my boys don't kill you first, I'm gonna eat you up alive." He threatened. Keanu looked at him for a moment, completely paralyzed in fear. The bobcat looked into Keanu's eyes.

"What, are you fucking deaf?! I said get the fuck out of here you little fuck! Run Forrest, Run!" He yelled out, shooting his gun in the air.

Keanu quickly snapped out of it, and he started sprinting as fast as he could through the street. He didn't even think about looking back. He kept running, and running, and running. He could hear footsteps in the distance behind him, getting louder. He was growing tired, he knew he had to hide somewhere before he loses all his stamina. At that moment, he saw a nearby dock, full of shipping containers, and he ran to it. He was hiding between the containers, catching his breath. Then he heard multiple footsteps near him. He knew if he stayed he would die. He saw that a nearby cargo ship still had its boarding stairs out. He quickly and quietly sneaked up to them and climbed onto the ship. He snuck between some of the containers that were sitting tied on the ship. He saw a big red one that was slightly open. He quickly ran into it, and hid behind some crates. He sat behind them, and started to quietly cry. His parents were really gone. The ones who loved him unconditionally, fed him, took care of him...were dead. Minutes apart from each other.

Suddenly, the container door slammed shut. Keanu was in complete darkness. He felt the ship slowly start to move. He was petrified, but he was safe. He managed to escape. Eventually, he fell asleep.

6 days pass...

Japan, Cherryton Port :

-"So, remind me why you think this will be profitable for us?" Sera asked.

-"It's simple, we're importing a few thousand liters of booze from Europe. And we're gonna sell it to nightclubs, stores,private establishments, whatever here for almost double the price." Araki explained.

-"What if they're not gonna buy?" Raph asked back.

-"They're going to, trust me. Even if we sell it for half of the usual rate we're still making a profit." Araki cut back. A loud ship horn was heard in the distance as a cargo ship started approaching the port. "Right on schedule. I'm gonna go talk to the cargo management team, you guys get the forklifts ready." Araki commanded. Raph and Sera obliged.

A crane lifted a big red shipping container and set it on the side of the dock, where they parked 2 trucks. The container had a symbol on it's right side, (狼) Sera opened the container.

-"Alright,2 trucks should be enough, start loadi-" Sera was suddenly interrupted by a sharp pain in his abdomen, he was stabbed, by a broken bottle. He fell onto the floor, yelling out in pain. "What the fuck! Come help me!" He cried out. Araki and Raph ran to the container with their guns out, only to see Sera on the ground, wincing in pain. And standing above him...a kid? He looked skinny, malnourished. Araki was confused, what the hell was a kid doing in there?

-"What the fuck, don't tell me we're dealing kids now." Raph asked Araki.

-"Of course we're not, I didn't even know he was in there, put the damn gun down!" Araki viciously commanded. They both looked at the kid, who seemed scared, just waiting for the right moment to run. Raph got on one knee, at eye level with the kid.

-"What the hell are you doing in here? What's your name?" Raph asked. Meanwhile, Araki helped Sera up and wrapped his shirt tightly around his wound.

-"K...Keanu..." The kid replied.

-"Nice to meet you Keanu, I'm Raph. You don't need to be scared." He comforted.

-"You reckon we could cut him up and sell as hyper drugs?" Sera commented, looking at Keanu menacingly.

-"You do that and I'll sell you too." Araki told him.

-"My...my parents..." Keanu stuttered. "They're gone... I had to run." He told them, his eyes welling up with tears.

-"Gone? What do you mean?" Raph asked him. "I'm sure they would've come back kid, you didn't have to run." He joked.

-"They're dead...both of them...they got killed by some crime boss." Keanu told him, breaking into tears. Raph, Araki, Sera, all their faces completely changed. He was serious. Raph pulled Keanu into his arms, hugging him and picking him up.

-"Shh, shh,it's okay, it's okay. I am so sorry." Raph comforted. Araki saw his face, it wasn't his usual self. Raph looked like he was gonna start crying himself. Araki stood for a moment, thinking about what to do.

-"What did he look like?" Araki asked Keanu.

-"He was a bobcat, had a scar on his face, and a white rose on his neck." Keanu described.

-"Okay, and where did you say you were from?" He continued.

-"Belgrade, in Serbia, he followed us from there." Keanu tearfully replied, burying his face in Raph's shoulder.

Araki stood silent for a moment. He thought for a bit, before motioning Sera over to follow him. They both walked a few meters away to talk. Raph continued to comfort a crying Keanu. After a few moments, Sera nodded and they both walked over to Raph.

-"Call everyone up, we're going to Belgrade." Araki commanded.

-"Are you crazy? We're going on international gang wars now?" Raph asked.

-"It's a bobcat group, they're usually small,7 at most." Araki replied. "Besides, they're pussies, call the rest of the guys, and we'll rip them apart." Araki explained.

-"I don't mind." Sera chuckled. "It's been a good while since we've had a good shootout."

-"Raph, you're staying at the hideout and you're watching the kid. Get him a shower, somewhere to sleep and some food. Poor thing looks like he's about to starve to death." He told Raph sternly. Raph nodded.

-"We'll get a private plane, I'll use what we saved up." Araki told Sera. He pulled out his phone and started dialing a number. Raph carried Keanu to their car, and put him in the backseat. He started driving to the hideout. Keanu was looking out the window, amazed. The city looked so beautiful, so bright, so clean. He was wide-eyed and amazed. It helped him forget about his woes for just a bit.

At the hideout, Raph made Keanu dinner. A big soy steak, mashed potatoes and gravy. Keanu ate it all, and fast. He hadn't eaten since his last dinner with his family. He then took a shower and fell asleep in Raph's bed. Raph didn't mind, he just watched him sleep for a bit, before tucking him in properly. He went downstairs and fixed himself up a drink.

Two days later...

Raph got a call on his cellphone, it was Araki! He answered.

-"Come down to the garage, and bring the kid with you." Araki instructed. Raph didn't even manage to get a word in before Araki hung up. Raph brought Keanu down to the hideout garage. When they entered the garage, they saw that everyone was there. Araki, Kubo, Sera, Wayne, Micah, Hager, Johnny and Yaki. They were standing near the wall, a few of them smoking. In the center of the room, there was an animal, tied to a chair with a bag over its head. Yaki walked over to him and pulled the bag off. Keanu took a step back. It was a bobcat, with a white rose on his neck. Beaten and bloody.

-"Who are you!? What is this place!?" He yelled in fear. Sera grabbed a hammer off a nearby table, walked over to him and hit him in the knee. The man yelped in pain.

-"Quiet now, we haven't even started." Sera taunted him.

-"Is this the guy?" Araki asked Keanu. Keanu nodded. Araki stepped in front of the man, looking at Keanu. He gestured for him to come over. Keanu slowly stepped next to Araki.

-"It's okay, he can't hurt you anymore." Araki comforted him. He placed a handgun in Keanu's hands. Keanu's body trembled with fear. Araki held Keanu's hand and helped him point the gun at the man's head.

-"Relax, do not think of him as a person. Remember what he did to you, to your parents." Araki instructed. Keanu was breathing heavily. The man looked up, seeing Keanu. He said nothing...

BANG

The room was silent.

BANG, BANG, BANG, BANG, BANG.

Araki pulled Keanu away, holding him tight.

-"That's enough! It's over!" He yelled. Keanu dropped the gun on the floor. He was still breathing heavily.

The man was barely recognizable anymore, the only part that was left was a bit of his lower jaw. He was only identifiable by his neck tattoo which started to distort itself from blood pouring onto it. Everyone stood there, looking at Araki embracing Keanu. Araki pulled back, standing up.

-"You have been blessed. Your life ended back in Europe, but you were reborn. You have a family again. We will guard you till the day that we die, and you shall do the same for us. With this, you are now part of the Okamigumi. Keanu, our warrior." Araki told Keanu. He knelled down in front of Keanu. Everyone else in the room joined Araki, kneeling down. Keanu looked around at everyone. These wolves, they took him into their home, got him his revenge and welcomed him as one of their own. He has found a family. Everyone stood up.

-"What do we do now though? Our savings are blown." Raph asked.

-"Ha, you won't believe this." Johnny cut in. "When we rushed in massacring everyone, a donkey survived. He was their arms dealer. We spared him by making a deal. He's gonna source guns for us to sell, and whenever we buy we're getting a huge discount." Johnny explained.

-"Nah, bullshit." Raph replied. Johnny shrugged his shoulders and lifted the top off of a crate sitting in the corner. Raph's eyes widened.

-"Hooooooly shit." Raph exclaimed. The crate he was looking into was full of AKs. Araki laughed.

-"Kid's our lucky fucking charm, not only did nobody die, but we're finally gonna move up in the world." Araki said, lifting Keanu up onto his shoulders. A few of the guys laughed. "Anyways, Yaki, Hager, clean up this mess." he commanded. Yaki and Hager got to work while everyone else went back into the hideout for celebratory drinks.

It was morning in Cherryton now. Keanu still hadn't gotten any sleep. He was sitting in an armchair in his dorm, his drink in his hand. He drank it, and thought for a bit how lucky he got. He truly was like a good luck charm. Thanks to him the Okamigumi went from a small gang in the city to one of the biggest crime syndicates. Their shabby little hideout was renovated into a goddamn mansion thanks to the money they were rolling in due to firearm deals. He smiled, and seeing it was morning, got dressed.

Today was gonna be a good day.
