Keanu kept driving, he had a big night in front of him. He was going to some high class party, fancy clothes, jewelry and masks and shit. Keanu wasn't really used to this, his normal club nights, raves and even just getting blasted with the Okamigumi were enough for him. You only live once though right? He arrived at the building only to discover there wasn't an empty parking spot in sight. He groaned and drove a bit further out and parked near a park. He stopped at a store on the way there and bought himself cigarettes, mints and a bottle of whiskey. He put the bottle of whiskey in the glove compartment of his car, and started walking through the park towards the party. He lit up a cigarette and walked inside the building, taking the elevator to the top floor. He saw a bouncer standing in front of a door, holding a clipboard and a breathalyzer. Keanu approached him. The bouncer looked at him up and down.
-"Name?" The bouncer asked.
-"Keanu." He replied. The bouncer looked at his clipboard for a bit, before circling something.
-"Alright, blow in this." He commanded.
-"That's kinda gay." Keanu responded.
-"Funny guy, now do it." The bouncer sharply replied. Keanu blew into the breathalyzer and the device beeped. The bouncer looked at it. "O.5,you gotta get to 0.7 at least before you come here."
Keanu sighed and pulled out a flask from his pocket. He opened it up and downed the entire thing in one go, the bouncer looked at him strangely. Keanu pulled out another flask from his other pocket and downed it as well. The bouncer was just about to say something when Keanu pulled out yet another flask from his underwear and downed it too. The bouncer just looked at him in awe. Keanu put all his flasks back in his pockets.
-"Just so you know I'm fucking stealing a bottle of something in there cause of that." Keanu said and walked inside the party. He went through a small hallway before he saw yet another bouncer. The bouncer pointed him to the dressing rooms so Keanu could pick a mask to wear. Keanu looked at the wide selection for some time, not sure what mask to pick.
-"Eeeny meenie miney moe, fuck a thottie suck her toe, if she swallows let me know, eeny meenie miney moe." He counted. He eventually landed on a cat mask. He put it on, and walked into the party.
The scene was absolutely astonishing. The room was huge, with a big dance floor, booths,a DJ stage, tables,a second floor with even more tables,3 bars and 2 huge tables filled with food. Keanu headed over to the food with table and made himself a sandwich, since he hasn't eaten since school lunch. Tofu, ketchup,pickles and hot sauce. He ate his food and scanned around the room for a bit. The crowd was diverse, carnivores and herbivores, males and females, straight and gay couples, but mainly a younger crowd with a few people in their 40s mixed in. He finished his food and sat down in a nearby booth, smoking. Eventually a server came to him.
-"A drink sir?" He asked.
-"Bring me a jack and coke every 20 minutes till I pass out." Keanu told him. "Oh and here's your tip." Keanu said, giving the server 50000 yen. The server looked at him for a second, confused.
-"That's...how much I'm getting paid to work here for 15 nights." The server told him, shocked.
-"Well you're eating good tonight my friend. Now I believe I ordered a drink?" Keanu told him. The server nodded and went over to the bar to make Keanu a drink. He returned two minutes later and served him.
-"Enjoy sir. And...thank you." The server told him, bowing his head a bit. Keanu gestured his hand at him like he was blessing him. The server left to do his job and Keanu enjoyed his drink.
An hour or so later, Keanu was a few drinks in, and those flasks certainly didn't help his situation. The party was pretty packed, people were practically pushing onto each other. Eventually, a group of 3 girls and 2 guys came over to his booth.
-"Hey, you mind if we sit here?" One guy asked him. He was wearing a tiger mask, and seemed like a large carnivore. Keanu gestured for them to come over with his hand. The gang sat down and sipped on their drinks. A few songs passed and Keanu noticed the group was mainly on their phones, sipping their drinks almost as if they were savoring every sip.
-"Something wrong? You guys don't like you're having much fun." Keanu asked them.
-"Well, It's our first time here, and we didn't really think the place would be this fancy, I mean have you seen some of the drink prices?" A girl wearing a leopard mask told him.
-"Tsk tsk, I'm not gonna allow this." Keanu said, putting out his cigarette. "Garçon!" He yelled at a nearby server, waving over to him. The server arrived. "Get us 2 bottles of top shelf vodka and 24 energy drinks." The server nodded and left towards the bar. The group looked at Keanu, not knowing what to say. "Relax, it's on me." He said.
Eventually the server brought the entire order in 2 boxes filled with ice. The group was ecstatic. Keanu threw some ice in his now empty glass, poured in some vodka and filled the rest with the energy drink. He took a big gulp, and slammed his glass down.
-"Now we fucking party." He said.
A few hours pass and everyone in the group was drunk. They were making jokes, screaming their lungs out at songs that were playing and taking drunk selfies. Eventually, Keanu decided to call it quits. After adding all of them on social media, he left the party and walked out of the building. He was walking through the park, it was nighttime now. As he was walking past a bench, he heard two voices from his side.
-"Keanu?" Both of them asked, at the same time.
-"Maybe?" Keanu responded, turning around. Sitting on a bench were Haru and Legoshi. "Oh, damn what are you two doing here?" He asked.
-"Well, long story, but we can't go on the train back, so we're gonna walk back to the school." Legoshi explained. "Hey, I wanted to ask you but I didn't see you today." Legoshi continued. Keanu already knew where this was headed. "Why were you on the roof of the school?" He asked.
-"HHH..." Keanu was thinking of an excuse.
-"Oh we've been friends for a year or so now, he comes to talk to me sometimes, ain't that right Keanu?" Haru cut in with a soft voice, looking at Keanu.
-"Yeah..yeah.." Keanu stuttered. Legoshi looked at Keanu, and then at Haru, and back at Keanu.
-"Oh, okay." He said, a bit relieved.
-"Well, we should start walking back, we don't wanna be late." Haru said and got up from the bench.
-"Nah you're not walking back, you two are gonna drive back with me." Keanu said.
-"Since when do you drive?" Legoshi asked. Keanu just shrugged. They walked to the parking lot and Keanu unlocked his car. Legoshi and Haru sat in the backseat and Keanu got in the driver seat, turning on the car.
-"Umm, are you sure you can drive? I can smell alcohol on you." Legoshi asked nervously
-"I've been driving since I was 12,and I've been driving drunk since I was 14. Don't worry." Keanu said and laughed. Legoshi tightened his seat belt, along with Haru's. Haru looked at him funny.
-"Gee, thanks for taking so much care of me." Haru said and laughed.
-"N-no I just-" Legoshi talked, but was interrupted by Keanu revving his engine.
-"Do you guys wanna get there fast or really fast?" Keanu asked.
-"Normal is fin-" Legoshi spoke
-"Fast it is then." Keanu said, playing a song on his phone and turning up the radio.

He blasted out of the parking lot, driving way past the speed limit, weaving between cars and drifting at sharp turns. Legoshi and Haru were in the backseat, terrified. Meanwhile, Keanu was having the time of his life, he was yelling the lyrics to the music that was blasting, tapping his fingers on the steering wheel to the synth on the radio as if he was playing it. They eventually arrived in front of the school, safe and sound. Keanu parked his car and looked back at Haru and Legoshi, who were spooned together in fear.
-"Y'all both good?" He asked. Legoshi just nodded. They got out of the car, Legoshi's legs shaking a bit as he was still nervous. Keanu stretched.
-"Well I'm pretty tired, I'm gonna head back to my dorm." Keanu said, leaving Legoshi and Haru alone standing in front of the school, still a bit uneasy from the car ride. Eventually, Haru laughed, breaking the silence.
-"Man, he sure is crazy isn't he?" She said.
-"Y-Yeah.." Legoshi spoke, nervously.
-"Oh come on, would it kill you to smile a bit?" Haru provoked, playfully. Legoshi awkwardly smiled. Haru's eyes lit up a bit.
-"See? You have a beautiful smile." She happily said, which prompted Legoshi to really smile. He was really bonding with Haru, hell what's a better bonding experience than almost dying? He'll see...eventually.
