(It seems like the gunfire died down...) Louis thought to himself, sneaking into the main foyer of the Shishigumi hideout. He slowly and cautiously walked upstairs, seeing dead lion after dead lion in front of him. (Did Keanu do this?) He thought to himself. Of course, who else? How in the world did he manage to fight all of them? Louis did hear automatic gunfire, from a rifle probably, so I guess he had that on his side. He walked all the way to the top floor, and opened a big red door. The room was an absolute mess. Broken glass everywhere, broken furniture, blood on the walls, floor and...ceiling? And on the balcony, stood the head of the Shishigumi, still bleeding from his wound. Louis sneaked up behind him. The chief lion cocked his gun and aimed it down at the courtyard...
-"You think we got them all?" Legoshi asked, slumped over Keanu's shoulder.
-"I stopped counting after we got inside." Keanu replied, taking off his ski mask. "Don't worry, they're severely weakened now."
-"I guess that's true..." Legoshi responded, absolutely exhausted from the fight.
Suddenly a gunshot was heard from the top floor of the hideout. The trio turned around, looking back for a second. Keanu sighed.
-"I don't care anymore, if I see anyone behind us they're dead." Keanu brushed off, and continued walking with Legoshi and Haru.
They walked for a bit, avoiding the black market since they had Haru with them. They managed to get to a nearby park, where Keanu laid Legoshi to sleep on a bench for a bit. Legoshi slept peacefully, lord knows he deserved some rest after a fight like that. Keanu and Haru sat next to him, and Keanu took some time to breathe. Haru looked up at him.
-"You really came for me...why?" Haru asked Keanu.
-"I didn't. Legoshi did. He was the one who ran headfirst against the fucking yakuza to save you. I'm the guy who decided to bring a gun." Keanu responded. Haru looked down at the ground for a bit, thinking.
-"He really cares that much?" Haru asked, suspicous.
-"Haru, of course he does. He's... In love with you. And I don't mean love as in the type of shit that we do, I mean actual love. I can't break his heart by the two of us seeing each other. He can treat you far, far better than I ever could." Keanu explained. Haru was surprised by this.
-"I knew you weren't the romantic type..." Haru spoke in a soft voice. Keanu raised one eyebrow looking at her.
"Do you even know why we fooled around? It was never a relationship, there was no love involved. It was just sex, I just wanted to feel...alive." Haru explained.
"I really love Louis, but he doesn't feel the same...He says he's got an arranged marriage ahead of him anyway. Not to mention that he was nowhere to be seen today. Legoshi is the first guy who didn't use me as a toy, who treated me like an actual person, who cared what I feel like and what I have to say..." She continued. Keanu wrapped his arm around her, and she leaned against him. The two sat in silence for a bit.
-"I'm sorry I never asked you how you felt." Keanu quietly spoke. Haru looked up at him, and slowly broke away from his embrace. At that moment, Legoshi opened his eyes and sat up on the bench, holding his head.
-"You good Rocky? That was some fucking beating you took." Keanu chuckled. Legoshi groaned.
-"I'm okay... I could eat though..." Legoshi responded in a tired voice.
-"Oh I know a place that serves great ramen that's not too far from here, let's go!" Haru happily said, jumping up from the bench. If anyone looked at her they would never guess she was about to die fifteen minutes ago. Keanu and Legoshi stood up and started following her to the place.
The trio sat at a table and ordered up some food. Legoshi and Keanu were starving, they ate a large size meal and a large drink. Keanu had two beers, while Legoshi had soda and Haru ordered regular water. They joked and laughed the entire time, the atmosphere was amazing. It's almost like everyone forgot about what just happened to them. Legoshi wasn't complaining about his injuries and Keanu's leg was feeling like a million yen. The three talked for a few hours, before Haru stood up.
-"Alright, we should take the train back to the school?" Haru said.
-"Train? The last train left an hour ago." The restaurant waiter said. Keanu, Legoshi and Haru looked at each other in silence.
-"Well, now what?" Legoshi asked. "I've got some money left...maybe we could find a cheap hotel?"
-"I guess it's an option..." Haru replied. Keanu downed his beer.
-"Or we could just go to my place." He said. Legoshi and Haru looked at him weird.
-"You..place?" Legoshi asked.
-"Yeah it's like a 10-minute walk from here." Keanu replied. Haru and Legoshi looked at each other.
-"Huh, okay sure, why not." Haru said. "Certainly better than sleeping on the street or some sleazy motel."
They walked through the bright streets of Cherryton. There were barely any cars on the road, except for an odd taxi or two. People were mainly walking, from clubs, parties and fancy dinners. The air was filled with life, reminded Keanu of home. The few people that did pass them by looked at them strangely, they most certainly were an odd group. One was walking in a bloody tank top, the other was wearing only a shirt as a dress, with nothing underneath and the third had several holes in him, and looked like a mobster. Safe to say that people kept their distance. After a short walk, they arrived to a massive building. It was in a high class part of town, deluxe apartments, penthouses and hotels. They stepped inside and walked into an elevator. Keanu pushed the button for the 8th floor. The elevator ride was silent, Legoshi was leaning against the wall for support, Keanu looked Stoic, and Haru was shaking her hips to the elevator music, not a care in the world. The elevator opened up, and the hallway was decorated like a goddamn mansion. Red carpet, chandeliers,the whole enchilada. Haru and Legoshi looked around impressed for a bit. They walked up to a set of double doors. Keanu pulled out a key from his pocket and unlocked them. He swung them open and turned on the lights.
The apartment was huge, it was practically a penthouse suite. It had beautiful marble floors, a large open kitchen with a bar, a conversation pit in the living room along with some couches, a huge TV, big coffee table and an arcade machine in the corner. The whole room was decorated with traditional Japanese art. Haru giggled excitedly and jumped into the conversation pit. Legoshi noticed a set of Samurai armor in the corner, along with 2 katanas.
-"Where'd you get this?" Legoshi asked.
-"Fell off a truck." Keanu replied. Legoshi looked at him, tilting his head
-"Really?" He asked
-"No." Keanu replied.
-"So where are we gonna sleep?" Haru yelled from the pit.
-"I got a guest room for you two, you mind sharing a bed?" Keanu asked
-"Nah." Haru responded.
-"Well..." Legoshi stuttered. Keanu turned and looked at him.
-"What's up champ?" Keanu asked.
-"Well I saved Haru, I'm pumped up from the fight, and I had a fantastic meal..." Legoshi explained. Keanu stifled his laugh.
-"Hey man, just take this, don't even worry I'm getting those sheets dry-cleaned soon anyway." Keanu comforted him, handing him a box of condoms. Legoshi's eyes widened. "Shh, just put it in ya pocket you'll thank me later." Legoshi nodded and put the box in his pocket.
-"Well, I'll be here, watching TV and smoking weed. If either of you wants a hit or wants to make it a threesome you just come here." Keanu told them.
He took off his shirt and threw it on a chair. He sat down on his couch, turned on the TV and started rolling some weed he already had left on the coffee table. Legoshi and Haru left to Keanu's guest room.
About thirty minutes passed and Keanu could hear soft moaning and giggling from his guest room. Keanu chuckled. He really got Legoshi laid. He was proud of himself, he really was. Maybe he shouldn't even tell him what happened yet? Ah, he'll figure it out eventually. Suddenly, Keanu heard a scream from his guest room. His ears lifted up. (Jesus Legoshi don't be that rough.) He thought to himself. (Eh if he doesn't manage to figure out how sex works in the next 25 minutes I'm jumping in to show him how it's done.) He thought some more. Eventually,3 am rolled around, Keanu was dead tired. He went to his bedroom and laid down in his Egyptian silk sheets. He yawned, and shortly after, fell asleep.
-"It wasn't your fault Legoshi, we just need to figure it out..." Haru comforted Legoshi, who was curled up in bed next to her in a fetal position.
-"I don't know Haru... What if this is a sign?" Legoshi asked, depressed.
-"Don't worry you dumb wolf, it's not the end of the world." Haru said cheerfully. "Hey, let's get some sleep, and we'll try again tomorrow." Haru comforted some more, stroking Legoshi's fur on his back.
Her hand was warm, it was alive. Legoshi was so glad, he was so glad he managed to save her. Doesn't matter if they had sex or not, he was just so glad she was still alive, and next to him. What will tomorrow bring?
