It was a dark night. Clouds were hiding all the stars in the pitch black sky. The only thing illuminating the room was the faint moonlight. Keanu was sitting in an armchair in his apartment's living room. He was waiting, patiently. Smoking a cigarette and holding his glock in his hand. He heard a footsteps coming from his bedroom. He put out his cigarette, and waited. The footsteps were drawing closer and closer. Eventually they stopped in the middle of the room. Keanu saw a figure standing ominously.
-"Came for me too?" Keanu spoke at the figure. The figure turned it's head, and Keanu could make out something in the darkness. It was wearing a cloak, and it had antlers.
-"No. Not yet." The figure spoke back. It's voice seemed unnatural. Dark, cold, sick. It didn't seem alive.
-"Why are you here then?" Keanu asked back. The figure stepped closer towards Keanu, the moonlight shining against it. He could see now. The figure was tall, wearing dark clothes, boots a cloak and a hat. It's face was the disturbing part. It was a skull, with no eyes. It's antlers were sticking out of its head like branches of a dead tree. Keanu felt a chill go down his spine.
-"I've been with you since the beginning. Following you. I serve as a reminder of what's waiting for you." The figure responded. Keanu pointed his gun at the figure.
-"And what makes you think I'm not gonna fight?" Keanu asked calmly. The figure chuckled.
-"I know you will. You don't learn, do you?" The figure spoke ominously. Keanu fired off 6 shots into the figure. But... All the bullets seemed to go right through it. Keanu looked at his gun and threw it to the other side of the room.
"In time, you will understand." The figure spoke again. "Until we meet again, judging by your actions, it'll be very soon." The figure cackled, running into Keanu. Keanu stood up and swung at the figure, but the figure passed right through him. He turned around and saw it go clean through his glass balcony and jump off. He felt lightheaded, and then...
-"Wake the fuck up, we're here." Wayne said, shaking Keanu awake. Keanu's eyes sprung open, and he grabbed Wayne by the neck, squeezing it. "Chill out! What's wrong with you?!" Wayne yelled. Keanu realized who he was choking, and let go.
-"Don't wake me up like that." Keanu told him.
-"Yeah I'll make a mental note of it." Wayne replied, holding his neck in pain. "Like I said, we're in Havana."
Keanu looked around. He was on a plane, first class it seemed. Wayne was next to him, and in front of him, reading a book, was Kubo. Keanu looked out his window and saw a beautiful sea. The sunlight shining against it made it seem like it was made of glass. He saw a huge, foliated green jungle. And to top it off, a city in the distance. Their destination.
-"What, never seen a jungle before?" Kubo asked, not lifting his eyes from his book.
-"It's nothing special." Keanu responded, looking away from the window. "So, mind telling me what exactly we're doing here?"
-"He didn't tell you?" Wayne asked.
-"He told me we're going to Cuba. That's it." Keanu answered. Kubo closed his book and sipped his scotch, crossing his legs.
-"We're checking a shipment for Araki, and making sure it gets to him safely." Kubo explained.
-"What, guns?" Keanu asked.
-"No, a drug. To enhance the current hyper drugs back in Cherryton." Kubo continued.
-"Since when are we drug runners?" Keanu asked, clearly agitated.
-"Since Araki told us to do this fucking job." Kubo cut back. "I don't care for it much either, but Araki's looking to expand business. And besides, the more we cut the hyper drugs there with this product the more people will buy, meaning the police will be more focused on cracking down on drugs, and not weapons." Kubo went on.
-"Meaning they won't be looking into weapon trades as much." Keanu understood.
-"Bravo." Kubo told him. "We're gonna meet with a contact called Ramon outside of the city, near the jungle. He'll get us up to speed, and we'll negotiate a deal." Kubo informed. He stood up and took a briefcase from the luggage compartment above their cabin.
The plane landed and the three left the airport. They walked around the city for a bit. Havana was beautiful. The city was bursting with color and personality. The people looked happy, yet busy with their lives. Cafes were bursting with chatter and music. The streets were filled with buskers playing instruments trying to make a living for themselves. Along with many salesmen selling watches, jewelry, food and drinks. But Wayne noticed something. Some locals were looking at them. And it wasn't a very friendly look. Wayne grabbed Kubo's shoulder.
-"We should go to a clothing store and buy some new clothes, we look like the biggest fucking gringos here, and we're even carrying a huge briefcase. I don't exactly feel like getting jumped by some angsty locals." Wayne whispered. Kubo nodded and the three walked into a nearby clothing store.
They stepped out in their brand-new clothes. Keanu was wearing a red Hawaiian shirt and white suit pants, along with some loafers and a pair of gold sunglasses. Kubo wore a sleek white dress shirt with black suit pants and some business shoes. Wayne stepped out in sandals, cargo shorts and decided to ditch his shirt completely, his tattoos shining in the sun. The three rented a car and started driving to their contact's destination. The drive was long, and they were all silent throughout. Keanu had enough and decided to break the silence.
-"So how much money are we giving this guy anyway?" Keanu asked, sipping some water out of a bottle.
-"Two hundred and fifty million yen." Kubo replied. Keanu spat out his water all over Wayne.
-"Man fuck you." Wayne said, wiping water off of himself.
-"I'm sorry are we planning to drug all of Cherryton and then also the entirety of Japan?" Keanu asked.
-"We're getting a ton and a quarter for that price. The quarter is going into Cherryton and the rest is getting sold overseas." Kubo explained.
-"Man, how are we smuggling it anyways?" Keanu asked again.
-"Narco subs. We have two that are gonna come in three days on the outskirts of the jungle. We load 'em up, and they'll be heading to Japan where our boys will take the goods to a warehouse." Kubo continued.
-"So it should be a clean deal?" Keanu insisted.
-"Yup." Kubo replied.
-"Great, then we've got some time for vacation here too." Keanu chuckled and laid back in his seat, adjusting his sunglasses.
