The morning sun broke through the thick jungle foliage. It shined a bright orange light across the scenery. The compound was looking emptier than usual, accounting for all the men lost last night. The remaining ocelots were on high alert, watching for any signs of intruders and strange activity. The workers were still forced to work, yesterday's attack was a mere hiccup in work effectiveness. With or without Ramon, the business would have to keep going.

Among the tress though, prying eyes prepared for their next move. Kubo, Wayne,Keanu and about 20 more men with them were waiting for a moment to strike into the heart of the compound. The men were armed with real firepower. They were like a small mercenary army at this point, a real rebel militia. Kubo patiently watched the compound, counting out guards and looking at the least guarded entrance. Wayne and Keanu were on the ready, waiting for an order. Eventually, Kubo turned to face the natives.

-"We're attacking in 5 minutes, get ready." He instructed. The natives nodded, loading their guns. He turned to Wayne and Keanu. "A word with you two?" He said, moving further away from the natives. Wayne and Keanu followed suit.

-"What is it?" Wayne asked.

-"Look, I saw a couple of seaplanes. They look like they're gassed up and ready to go. I say that in all the fire and screaming that's about to go down, we cut our losses, grab the money we came with, grab as much product as we can and just fly back to Cherryton. I could probably pilot the damn thing, I've flown choppers before" Kubo explained.

-"No, we have to help them fight." Keanu disagreed.

-"Well..." Wayne thought about it.

-"Wayne?" Keanu questioned.

-"It's not a bad idea Keanu..." Wayne answered.

-"Are you kidding me?" Keanu asked in disbelief. "We tell these people we're gonna help them, and then we're gonna just take off?"

-"You helped them plenty by offing Ramon, and you hurt us even more by doing so." Kubo sharply responded. "We're leaving, that's it. No narco subs are gonna come and save us. We're not even gonna be able to step foot into the compound without getting killed if we wait for them. There's no way these are all of Ramon's men, more will come even if we do kill all of these."

The three stood in silence for a bit.

-"Fine, fuck." Keanu spoke, succumbing to the pressure.

-"Good, now get ready, we've got a war to break out." Kubo calmly said, turning around and walking back to the natives.

The ocelots' guard was just about dropping before they heard a loud explosion from the back of the compound. Within seconds, dozens of natives flooded the compound armed with rifles, screaming and shooting every mobster in sight. Everyone's eyes were on the incoming attack. Every single ocelot in the compound ran towards the source of the gunfire, ready to fight. Including the ones at the docks. Kubo used this opportunity to run inside a fueled up seaplane and start the engine. Wayne jumped inside the storage warehouse through a window. He grabbed a bag and started filling it with as much product as possible. He stuffed the bag to the brim and threw it over his back. Keanu ran inside Ramon's office, hopping over his corpse and grabbing the briefcase full of money they came with. On his way out he stopped for a second, turned around and shot Ramon's dead body twice, before running outside. Keanu and Wayne ran outside, shooting anyone in their way to the seaplane. All seemed to be going according to plan.

*Whizz*

*Thud*

-"FUCK! I'M HIT!" Wayne cried out, falling to the ground.

Keanu quickly turned to see Wayne face down in the dirt, screaming in pain. He saw a hole in the bag, it was leaking powder. Kubo was hit in the lower back, and was wailing, unable to stand up.

-"Kubo give us some fucking cover!" Keanu yelled. Kubo ran out from the seaplane and started shooting at the few ocelots who were running after them. Keanu used whatever was left of his strength to drag Wayne inside the seaplane. Kubo and he threw Wayne inside.

-"Come on boys! Time to leave!" Kubo yelled, jumping into the pilot's seat. Keanu jumped in the back along with Wayne.

He looked back at the compound from the plane window. Something wasn't right. There was way too many ocelots, and only a handful of natives left. They were shooting, but would barely hit anyone. They were slowly being surrounded but that did not stop them from fighting. The ocelots were too much though, and the last native fell dead at their hands. Keanu's heart sank. The seaplane took to the skies, leaving the chaos behind them. Wayne was sitting in a seat, with a first aid kit in his lap.

-"Keanu, give me a hand here, please." Wayne spoke, the words barely escaping his mouth from how much pain he was in. Keanu rushed over and inspected him.

-"Looks like it went clean through, I'll clean it and wrap it." Keanu told him reassuringly. Wayne just nodded and tilted his head back.

Keanu opened a first aid kit from inside the plane and poured out ethanol onto the wound. Wayne screamed in pain, his claws burying into the seat. Keanu then grabbed some wraps and bandages and wrapped them around Wayne's waist. He then tightened it and gave Wayne some painkillers. Wayne scarfed them down like they were mints.

-"Thanks kid..." Wayne softly spoke, closing his eyes and breathing deeply. Kubo walked out of the pilot's cabin.

-"Alright, We've set course for Cherryton and I've put the plane on autopilot. We'll be there in about 14 hours." Kubo proudly announced. Keanu looked at him angrily.

-"Just what the hell was that back there?" Keanu asked.

-"What? I told you we'd run for it." Kubo replied nonchalantly.

-"They're dead! All of 'em!" Keanu yelled.

-"Well it was their mistake to trust us wasn't it?" Kubo returned sharply.

-"We promised we'd help." Keanu growled.

-"I promised that I'd come back to Cherryton with a ton of product. Your little hero act ruined all of that." Kubo growled back. Keanu stood silent for a bit. "What's the matter with you anyways? You've caught bodies before, what's bothering you this time!?"

-"That was different. These people didn't deserve any of that, we led them into death!" Keanu cried out.

-"I do what I do because the gang is my sole priority. My morals come afterward." Kubo explained. "Innocent people sometimes get hurt, so we don't hang. It's something you're gonna have to live with."

Keanu said nothing and sat in his seat. He stared out the window at the endless sea, thinking.

Kubo sighed and went back inside the pilot's cabin. There was a long trip ahead of them, and someone needed to pay attention. Keanu's eyes shifted from the window and at the bag full of product laying on the floor of the plane.

With the deal completely fallen apart, what will they face when they come back to Cherryton?
