Dimension V-224:

They landed on the roof of a sky scrapper.

"We... are not in the Isles." Phoenix said.

"I see a beach... are we in California?" Fighter Luz asked.

They didn't get a chance to see anything else as several small needles hit the ground in front of them.

"What the?!" They said.

They turned around and saw three people, one in yellow, one in red, and one in purple. Phoenix looked at the girl in yellow, seeing pink skin and noticing black three eyes.

"Boscha?" She asked, "They've been corrupted!"

Toxin pulled out her needle and charged, with Abomination and Cardinal close behind. Fighter Luz and Phoenix separated to the left and the right; Toxin following Fighter Luz as Abomination and Cardinal focused on Phoenix! Phoenix lit up and shot fire at Abomination, who held out her hands and took it, making it turn from orange to purple. Cardinal got behind Phoenix and held her arms behind her back.

"Oh, you want to do it like that, huh?"

Phoenix quickly raised her leg behind her, hitting Cardinal in the nuts. With Fighter Luz, she was easily able to dodge and even disarm Toxin, which is when Toxin went to her fins. Doing her best to avoid the red fins, completely unaware that they hold her paralysis potion, Fighter Luz had no choice but to use her gloves. She pressed the fire glyph and... nothing. Her gloves didn't work for some reason.

"Oh, did you think glyphs work in the human realm?" Athena asked.

Fighter turned around and charged at Athena, aiming a fist at her, which Athena caught with ease.

"You still don't get it, do you?" Athena asked, "You're a weak, pathetic, Human. You can't stop me."

"Who are you calling a weak Human?" A voice said from behind Athena.

Athena turned around and was met with the hardest punch she had ever experienced in her life, sending her flying and smashing into the edge of the building! She landed on the ground with a groan. She looked up and saw man in a denim jacket, jeans, a mask, hat, and sunglasses.

"And who are you?" Athena growled

The man reached into his jacket and pulled out his revolver.

"I'm the one with the gun."

The man fired several shots at Athena as she blocked the shots with her arms before Toxin charged at him. The man didn't even look at her as he ducked, sweeping her feet out and kicking her across the roof.

"I don't know what you did to my partners, but-" He said, pulling out a wooden bat with barbed wire and dried blood on it, "I don't appreciate it."

"Damn, that's hardcore." Phoenix said as she jumped away from Abomination.

"Exactly. That's my name." The man said.

Mr. Hardcore walked up to Athena and side stepped her axe. He retaliated by delivering a massive uppercut with the bat. Athena was knocked back from the hit, as blood actually dripped down her mouth and out of her mask.

"Be glad the metal one was destroyed several months ago." Mr. Hardcore said.

"Lucky me." Athena replied as she charged again.

She kept swinging her axe as Hardcore dodged her every time and took small strikes at her weak points.

"Holy shit, this guy's good." Fighter Luz said as she dodged an attack from Cardinal.

Athena threw a punch at Mr. Hardcore, which he caught with ease. Fighter was stunned, as Athena has shown that she has strength that rivals Phoenix, and even caught Fighter's strike earlier.

"If you want to mess with my partners, mess with my city, then you have to mess with me." He said, using his other arm and putting it on Athena's elbow.

A quick up motion was all it took for a snap to be heard, followed by Athena's attempt to withhold her scream. Mr. Hardcore slipped both hands into his jacket and pulled them out, with brass knuckles on each of them.

"Come on... bring it." He said.

He ran at Athena, slamming his fist into her head, actually cracking her mask. Athena was forced back against the roof ledge. Mr. Hardcore the used her inability to escape to deliver several strong strikes to her stomach. Athena knew this person was too much, even for her, and knew she had to do something. She opened a secret compartment in her wrist and a smoke came out. It covered the roof, and allowed her to slip away from the masked vigilante, but Fighter Luz and Mr. Hardcore didn't seem to be fazed... Phoenix on the other hand, was forced to her knees and held her throat.

"C-c-can't... breathe..."

"Good." Athena said.

Athena injected something into Phoenix and she passed out. When the smoke cleared, Athena, her corrupted minions, and Phoenix were gone.

"Damn." Mr. Hardcore said, before reaching to his ear, "Songbird, do you have any eyes on them? Drones, Cameras, anything?"

"No, even the trackers in Cardinal, Toxin, and Abomination's suits are deactivated." Songbird said, "Get back to the Bunker, we can do something to track them down here."

"On it." Mr. Hardcore said, before turning to Fighter, who was struggling to understand how Phoenix got kidnapped, "Hey, focus."

Hardcore snapped his fingers in her face, getting her attention and out of her shock.

"S-Sorry. I'm just…How could Phoenix be taken so easily?" Fighter Luz asked herself.

"I don't know." Mr. Hardcore said, "But I know a place we can work to find her. Follow me."

Trusting him since he came to their rescue and that he managed to fight off Athena so easily, Fighter Luz nodded to Hardcore as they began running on the rooftops. They arrived at the Bunker and went inside.

"Alright, Luz, I've scanned the traffic cams and haven't found anything." Skara said, before turning around, "Who's this?"

Fighter Luz, who was still in her suit, removed her helmet. Skara and Hardcore gasped in shock, seeing a younger version of Luz standing before them.

"…. Explain." Hardcore said before taking off his mask, revealing that he was a SHE, this universe's Luz. "Now."

"Well, basically, I'm from another dimension trying to stop that crazy woman." Fighter Luz said, "Not much to explain really."

"And that girl, your partner, she took?" Hardcore Luz asked.

"She's from another dimension too, another version of us with Phoenix powers." Fighter Luz said to her.

"Honestly... at this point I thought nothing else could surprise me." Hardcore Luz said, "Skara, do whatever possible to find this woman."

"I'm trying, but she just appeared and then vanished." Skara said.

"Skara, we are the only people with a 230 IQ, we can think of something." Hardcore Luz said.

"230?!" Fighter Luz said in shock, looking between the both of them.

"That's right, you are looking at one of the smartest women on the planet here." Skara said, pointing a thumb at herself, "little cousin." "We even built a computer together that hacked the Pentagon."

"Oh, how I love being able to do things like that." Hardcore Luz said, "Now, what is your dimension like?"

Elsewhere, Phoenix woke up, seeing that she was in a cage. She put her hands on the bar and it became red from her heat. It shocked her and a laugh rang out.

"I wouldn't try that." Athena said.

Phoenix turned to her enemy and glared at Athena as she was looking over Abomination, Toxin, and Cardinal.

"Those bars are reinforced with dark magic. Any damage you try to do with magic, it will recoil back to you 10-fold. You can probably guess what that will do to you in such a small space." Athena mocked as she took off Toxin's Hood, seeing Boscha's face, "My, my, I never imagined that you would fill out so well as an adult, Boscha. I'm sure you're wondering how I managed to find a way to knock you out."

She lifted a book and made Phoenix gasp.

"I'm sure you know about this." Athena said, "I actually have been to your dimension, several years before you died and found a copy of this. Who would've thought, the book that holds the spell that made you, also houses spells and other things that can kill you... permanently. But... I was never interested in your powers, I went for the better option and that's how I gained my powers."

Athena put the book on a table a few feet from the cell and walked out of the room.

"You three, guard the door, make sure nothing gets through." Athena said.

"Yes, Athena." They all said with a bow before they went to guard separate parts of the room.

Phoenix knew she was in trouble, but she couldn't focus on anything but the book.

'I could've ended up as Athena.' Phoenix thought, 'We were both born from that book. I need to destroy it.'

She couldn't do that with the three masked vigilante's guarding her.

'Fighter, I hope you're safe.'

As Phoenix was left with no other option but to sit and wait for either rescue or for Athena's return, Fighter Luz and Hardcore Luz were talking so the former could get a better understand of this universe.

"So, witches and demons have lived her for who knows how long and hide in plain sight?" Fighter Luz asked Hardcore Luz.

"Pretty much."

"And you don't have the glyphs here? The building blocks of magic?" Fighter Luz asked, showing Hardcore Luz her glyph gloves.

"Afraid not. From what you told me, you need a magic atmosphere to use them, and Earth is just O2." Hardcore Luz said to her. "But I never needed magic to do what I do. Just good old human strength, agility, intellect, and speed."

"And a healthy dose of lead." Skara said, working on a computer.

"That too." Hardcore Luz said as she pulled out her gun, showing it to Fighter Luz.

"Damn, look at that thing." Fighter commented in awe.

"Yep, this is my pride and joy. Two chambers, each rotating opposite of each other, holding a total of twelve bullets, with two vertical barrels, firing two bullets at a time." Hardcore Luz said, "This thing is banned in almost every country."

"Dios mío, eso es genial./ Oh my god, that's so cool." Fighter Luz said in awe of the gun.

"You wanna hold it?" Hardcore Luz asked.

"Are you really going to give a child version of yourself a dangerous gun?" Skara asked.

"Skara, I was about her age when I stole the damn thing." Hardcore said.

The hacker rolled her eyes as she went back to work.

"Fine, just don't shot up the bunker or any of my tech." Skara said as she went back to work.

"Alright, here." Hardcore Luz said.

Fighter Luz gently took the gun and looked it over, marveling at how such a weapon could be used by an older version of herself. A version that didn't need magic to go toe to toe with Athena and send her running with such ease.

'How did she become so strong?' Fighter Luz thought.

Hardcore Luz knew what she was thinking and took her jacket off. She removed her shirt and Kevlar vest before putting a sports bra on.

"Come on, let's spar." Hardcore Luz said.

"Huh?" Fighter Luz let out, pulled out of her thoughts and looking up to Hardcore Luz.

"I said, let's spar. I want to see what you can do." Hardcore Luz said as she took the gun from her and gestured to get up.

"Okay, this shouldn't be too hard." Fighter Luz said.

Fighter Luz got into a stance and barely blinked as Hardcore Luz managed to get her leg behind Fighter's and push her down. Fighter was stunned, her stance was solid, she was almost never able to be knocked down, especially that fast and easy.

"Is that all you got?" Hardcore Luz asked, looking down to Fighter Luz.

Fighter Luz got up and ran at Hardcore, who easily dodged her strike and retaliated by hitting her in the back once, which lead to Fighter Luz stopping momentarily as it felt like she hit her spine directly. Fighter Luz turned around and was hit in the nose by Hardcore Luz.

"Come on, fight back!" Hardcore Luz said.

Fighter Luz grit her teeth as she ignored her nose and charged, throw 2 hooks and a jab that Hardcore just block before going for a low kick which she dodged.

'Don't underestimate me!' Fighter Luz thought as she spun around, pulling momentum into a high kick that Hardcore Luz blocked before she jumped and straight kicked her stomach to send her back a step.

"Hmm." Hardcore Luz hummed as she dusted off her stomach, not really effected, "Not bad... but not good enough."

Hardcore Luz ran at her and jumped, delivering a strong jumping spin kick to her head. Fighter Luz was knocked to the ground, where Hardcore Luz stepped on her chest to keep her from moving.

"Ugh!" Fighter Luz grunted, as she began pushing the foot off but Hardcore pushed back.

"Is that all you got?" Hardcore Luz asked again, looking down as she applied more pressure.

Fighter Luz just gave up and Hardcore Luz let her get up.

"I want to know; how strong you are." She said, "Hit me."

"What?" Fighter Luz asked.

"I said, "hit me." My chest, my abs, my face; punch me ANYWHERE as hard as you can." Hardcore Luz said to Fighter Luz.

Fighter Luz looked at Skara.

"I watched her fight with a bullet lodged in her shoulder, she can take a punch." Skara said.

Fighter Luz lined up a punch and hit Hardcore Luz in the stomach. She didn't even flinch.

"How strong are you?" Hardcore Luz asked.

Fighter Luz repeated it, this time with more force. It made Hardcore take a step back.

"How strong are you?" Hardcore Luz asked, with more venom in her voice.

Fighter Luz began to get annoyed. She line up a punch and hit her in the jaw. Hardcore Luz just looked at her.

"How strong are you?"

Fighter Luz growled as she screamed, pulling back to punch Hardcore Luz again, straight in the nose! She was knocked back a little, but still standing.

"How strong are you?"

Fighter Luz threw the hardest punch she's ever done and knocked Hardcore Luz down. She picked herself up and wiped the blood from her nose.

"How strong are you?"

Fighter Luz ran and tried to punch her again, but she caught it and flipped Fighter Luz over her shoulder.

"WHOA!" Fighter Luz out before she hit the floor but got up.

Fighter went back to attack as Hardcore Luz actually dodged or deflected her punches this time. She still didn't look like she was breaking a sweat as Skara glanced at the two for a moment. Hardcore Luz caught her latest strike and raised her arm, driving her elbow down on Fighter Luz's shoulder. Fighter Luz screamed in pain and held her arm.

"How strong are you?" Hardcore Luz said.

"I'm not as strong as you!" Fighter Luz said, "I can't hit like you... I'm not strong."

Hardcore Luz put a healing glyph on Fighter Luz's broken shoulder.

"That's where you're wrong." Hardcore Luz said, "Strength isn't about how hard you can hit, it's about how hard you can get hit and get back up. I threw you around like a ragdoll, and yet you kept getting up."

"Yeah, so?" Fighter Luz asked, feeling her shoulder getting better.

"It means you are strong. You get right back up no matter how many times you're knocked, it's something I didn't have until other knocked some sense into me." Hardcore Luz said to her, "Now get up, it's time for you to learn more than just kickboxing."

"More? How much more do you know?" Fighter Luz asked as she got up from the floor with a small mental note.

'So, the healing patches work here, meaning mine healing glyph can work.' She thought as she glanced at her glyph gloves. 'Maybe even my even my power glyph too.'

"Think of me like a female Batman, the head Batman. I know dozens of martial arts." Hardcore Luz said to her.

"And she's just as dangerous." Skara said.

Elsewhere, Phoenix was sitting in the cell, trying to get that book without being spotted. She studied the trio's habits, trying to find a single moment they were all looking away from her cage to grab the book.

'All I need is a split second.'

Phoenix was almost jittery as she was growing impatient, her leg was beginning to shake against the cage as she watched them with nice and turn.

"Come on, come on, come on." She muttered softly to herself.

The second they turned she grabbed the book. She hid it so they wouldn't notice her. She slipped it into her trench coat as they all looked to her, seeing her whistle innocently as she looked up to the ceiling. Normal people would understand this suspicious but mind-controlled people didn't think otherwise and went back to what they were ordered to do.

'This book will be destroyed when I get the chance.' Phoenix thought.

All she had to do was wait for her moment, either by Athena returning or by Fighter Luz and Hardcore finding her first. Either one was good for her as she could ignite her flames and burn the book before anyone can get to her. Elsewhere, Fighter and Hardcore were in a deadlock, both breathing heavily and sweating. They ran at each other and their fist collided. They pulled back and Hardcore fell on her back and did a kip up kick, which knocked Fighter Luz to the ground.

"So, think we should call it there?" Hardcore asked.

"I think you should, because I just saw that Athena woman on a traffic cam, she was speaking a well known bank robber." Skara said, "He might know where she is."

"Well then, I guess I have to get suited up." Hardcore Luz said, "Send me his location."

"Uh... it's pretty heavily guarded." Skara said, motioning to the screen.

Hardcore and Fighter got up and headed to Skara, looking at the screen to see where Athena was heading.

"I know that place, that's an entrance that leads to one of Belos secret bunkers." Hardcore Luz said, "The rest of his followers must be helping her. If I can get to that guy, maybe we can get some information on Athena."

"Be careful, they might be under Athena's controls if their eyes are black." Fighter Luz said to her.

"I already checked from the footage of Toxin, Abomination, and Cardinal to compare. All these guys are clean." Skara said with a thumbs up.

"They're just a bunch of Belos old guards, we've been dealing with them for the past several months." Hardcore Luz said, walking over and getting her suit on.

"Even after you killed him, they didn't disband?" Fighter Luz asked.

"They still believe his ideal of witches being the superior species. Even in death, they'll still carry out his will." Skara said.

"Thankfully, we've tracked down most of them and took care of them, but it looks like the rest of them are there." Mr. Hardcore said, "Which means I have some work to do."

"Try and bring the person we need to interrogate back alive this time." Skara said, "I do not like have to resuscitate people."

"Hey, it gets them scared, which is what I want."

Fighter Luz looked at Hardcore Luz and shivered a bit, still shaken up by her backstory and her feats. Who would've thought there was a human version of herself that could be so brutal.

'And I thought I lacked restraint.' Fighter Luz thought.

She walked over and grabbed a briefcase, inside, was a sniper rifle.

"Can't risk them alerting anyone."

"Then I suggest you take the hoverboard and take them from above." Skara said.

"Hoverboard? Like a real life hoverboard?" Fighter Luz asked in awe.

"Yeah, kind of miss the old ways though." Hardcore Luz said.

"We don't have time for the old ways." Skara said.

"Now get on that hoverboard and go get a LIVE hostage!"

'Never thought I'd say that.' Skara thought as she went back to the city cameras.

Hardcore did what she said. Fighter Luz followed quickly out of excitement to see the hoverboard and found it just as cool as she thought it would be. Mr. Hardcore got on the hoverboard and held the briefcase in his hand.

"They'll be surprised."

"Yeah, but where do I stand?" Fighter Luz asked.

"Climb on my back and keep your mouth closed, you might catch flies." Mr. Hardcore said to her.

They flew to the area and Hardcore dropped Fighter Luz on a roof with a pair of binoculars.

"I have Songbird in my ear, but I need you to make sure no one spots me while Songbird directs me."

"Okay, do I get a-" Fighter Luz was cut off as Hardcore held her hand out with a com for her ear. "Thanks."

Putting it in her ear, Fighter Luz looked through the binoculars as Hardcore flew off on the hoverboard.

"Alright, let's see what this sniper can do."

Hardcore pulled the sniper from the Case and aimed it at the guards from the sky.

"You're clear." Songbird said, "Fire at the guy in the second story window first, he's the look out."

"Got it. Mini-Me, you got him in your sights?" Hardcore asked.

"Yeah, I got him, but can we change my handle?" Fighter Luz asked as she put her red hood up.

"Sorry, Red Hood is copy written." Mr. Hardcore said, aiming and pulling the trigger, "Head shot."

"Technically that was a throat shot." Fighter Luz said.

"Don't make me turn this gun on you next."

"She will do it by the way." Songbird quickly said to "Mini-Me."

"Okay, okay, sorry." Fighter Luz said as she went back to the binoculars. "But just so you know, Mini-Me is also copyright."

"It's too old for anyone to care." Mr. Hardcore replied.

"Is the next target clear?"

"Yep."

After dealing with the guards, Mr. Hardcore and... Mini-Me went to the bunker entrance.

"You've been here before?" Fighter Luz asked.

"Not this way specifically, but I've been looking at the blueprints for the place, they all lead to the place he was holding Titan's Blood."

"Titan's Blood?" Fighter Luz asked with interest. "You have Titan's Blood here?"

"I don't know what you think it is but trust me, it was dangerous." Mr. Hardcore said to her, "Probably a lot more dangerous than in your dimension."

"Can you tell me what it is here?" Fighter Luz asked.

"A dangerous hallucinogenic that makes you see your worst fear, clouding you mind and judgement. The only thing you could do to stop if you can't overcome it is death by suicide." Mr. Hardcore answers.

Fighter Luz stopped for a second.

"What the fuck?"

This was nothing like the titan's blood she heard of in her universe.

"I know. Belos was a madman who wanted Earth to be an all witch world, so he made it to have humanity kill itself, but we stopped him in time." Mr. Hardcore said, "I will never forget the joy I felt at sending a bullet right into that fucker's skull."

"…..I'm not saying it wasn't right but you enjoy killing to much." Fighter Luz said to her.

"You sound like my parents, friends, and fiancé." Mr. Hardcore said. "Now let's focus and find a living soldier to interrogate."

They heard a noise and walked to an empty room.

"I'm glad you've contacted me about this, Miss Athena." He said.

They looked in, seeing a guard on the phone. He hung up the phone and went back to working on a gun on the table. Mr. Hardcore walked up behind him and grabbed him by the back of the head. He slammed his head on the desk and knocked him out.

"Alright, let's get him back to the Bunker."

"With pleasure." Fighter Luz said with a nod.

The guy woke up to the sound of metal hitting metal, and opened his eyes to see the local vigilante playing the knife game while the guy was handcuffed. Mr. Hardcore slammed the knife on the table, making it stick up.

"So, I'm going to ask you-"

The guy spit at the vigilante. He wiped the spit off his glasses and grabbed the knife. With a quick slice, the guy's eye was cut.

"Aaaaaaah!" He screamed in pain before Hardcore put a hand over his mouth.

"That's strike 1. 2 more and you're dead on the ground before I have my associate bring you back so I can kill you all over again." Hardcore said, "Which means... you're going to answer ALL my questions... or else. You've must've heard the rumors about how I beat an entire army loaded with something that can kill Human's with a simple drop... they aren't rumors."

The guard began to sweat in fear, gulping down spit as he remembered the aftermath of that day. So many of his allies on the ground, half of them dead while the other half with broken bodies. It was like a one-man army... it was a one-man army. No one has ever seen something like it.

"W-w-what do you to know?"

"Where is the woman that talked to you earlier? Chad in red and black armor with a super villain cape." Hardcore said to him.

"She... she... she-"

Mr. Hardcore grabbed his arm and pushed the man's elbow in, breaking his arm.

"AAAAAAH!" He screamed in pain.

"I don't have all night! Answer me quick or you'll get strike three!" Hardcore shouted to him.

"There's... there's a place she mentioned... a place where the game shall begin."

Mr. Hardcore grabbed the guy by the back of the head and started slamming his head on the metal table. Soon the table was covered in blood and the guy's head was unrecognizable.

"Skara, get rid of the body, Mini-Me and I are heading to the stadium."

"The one that's under construction?"

"What other place could be perfect for a game setting?" Mr. Hardcore said as he walked out of the room where Fighter Luz was waiting for him. "Let's move, Mini-Me. we've got some friends to save."

"Right behind you. Still hate the name though." Fighter Luz said as she followed behind.

The two went to the stadium, seeing the place empty, but there were signs that Athena was here.

"Look at this." Hardcore said as he examined a spot in the field.

"Yeah, she was here." Fighter said.

There was blood... a lot of blood. Suddenly the lights came on.

"Sorry, I can't be there, but I'm a little busy." Athena said, through the speakers, "But don't worry, I have some friends to keep you company."

In the room, Toxin, Cardinal, and Abomination ran out, leaving Phoenix alone. She pulled out the book and lit her hand up, ready to burn it... when symbols began glowing from her fire.

"What the?" She asked.

She sat down and opened the book, flipping through it and seeing several pages with new text and images.

'What the hell is happening?' Phoenix thought as she stopped on a page with a Phoenix on it! 'Is this what mom used?'

Her fire began to reveal an image and text.

"My God."

Above her, Fighter and Mr. Hardcore were deep in battle with the three corrupted vigilantes. Fighter was currently dodging Toxin's needle strikes.

"Want to tell me what the deal with this needle is!?" Fighter asked.

"It's loaded with a paralyzing agent! Don't let it or the fins cut you!" Mr. Hardcore said as he held back Cardinal.

He elbowed Cardinal, knocking him backwards and Mr. Hardcore had a hard time fighting Abomination... for obvious reasons but decided that there was no choice. He lined up a strong punch and threw it, breaking right through the glass of her helmet. Behind him, Cardinal walked up. He spun his palisman staff and got ready to hit Hardcore before he turned around to block it with his foot and knees him in the chin.

"Nice try!" Hardcore said before tackling him and slamming him into the ground.

Back with Fighter Luz or "Mini-Me" as her codename, she was still dodging Toxin's needles and growing frustrated from it.

"I've had enough!" She said as she dodged under a stab and charge at her.

She managed to hit a strong uppercut on Toxin, making her stumble back. Fighter Luz began to deliver strong strikes to Toxin's body, the armored fabric was holding a little, until Fighter understood what the yellow parts are and aimed for the black parts, which didn't touch her internal organs, but did expose her sides and ribs.

'Gotta thank Hardcore for the advice.' Fighter Luz thought as Toxin swung at her, making her duck backseats and throw an uppercut to her chin!

Fighter Luz delivered strong strikes at Toxin, feeling a little bad about this, but knowing there was no choice. With Hardcore and Cardinal, the two were still evenly matched. Cardinal threw a punch, which Hardcore easily dodged and retaliated with a kick, that Cardinal also dodged. Hardcore took out his bat and swung it, but Cardinal managed to intercept it with his staff. Hardcore and Cardinal were in a dead lock, with a staff against a bat, when something large and sharp hit Hardcore in the back, forcing him to his knees.

"You didn't think I would leave a few corrupted vigilante's do all the work would you?" Athena asked.

Athena ripped the axe out of Hardcore's back. Hardcore Luz held back a scream as Cardinal and Athena surrounded her. Athena raised her axe, ready to kill Hardcore Luz, when a large purple hand grabbed Athena and lifted her in the air and slammed her on the ground away from Hardcore Luz.

"Stay away from my Luz!" Amity said.

Cardinal saw this and rushed her, but Abomination caught his staff and brought him into a headbutt to break his nose before throwing him to crash into Toxin. Athena disappeared in a cloud of smoke, leaving the three to deal with the corrupt Vigilantes.

"Damn it! She got away!" Fighter Luz said.

"Yeah, but at least she doesn't have my team anymore." Hardcore Luz said, "Abomination, tie up Cardinal and Toxin, we'll get them back to the Bunker and see if we can help. Mini-Me, follow me. I have a feeling your friend is close by."

"Mini-Me?" Abomination asked as she looked towards Mini-Me.

"Multiverse crisis, I'm from an alternate universe, and my ally was kidnapped by Athena." Fighter Luz quickly explained, taking off her hood to show her face before putting it back on.

"Luz... you never told me you were this cute as a kid!" Amity said, hugging the kickboxer.

"Mission first!" Hardcore Luz said.

Amity groaned.

"Fine."

Amity went to subdue her teammates, while the two Luz's went to the basement of the stadium.

"So, can I assume that Abomination is Amity?" Fighter Luz asked.

"Yep. That's my fiancé." Mr. Hardcore said to her. "My sexy, deadly fiancé. "That woman is amazing in-"

"Still a minor!" Fighter Luz said.

"Wimp." Hardcore Luz said.

The two opened a door and saw a cage, with Phoenix inside, looking at a book. She looked up and put the book in her trench coat.

"Fighter!"

"Phoenix, you're alright!" Fighter Luz said as she and Mr. Hardcore walked up to her face. "Don't worry, we're gonna get you out of here!"

"How? Athena said this cage was reinforced by dark magic, any magic attack is recoiled back 10-fold." Phoenix warned them.

"Then lucky for you, I don't need magic." Mr. Hardcore said as he grabbed the cage bars and pulled them apart.

"Damn." Fighter Luz said.

"Come on, let's get back to the Bunker." Hardcore Luz said.

Phoenix stepped out of the cage and ran with Fighter Luz to follow Mr. Hardcore out of the stadium basement. In the Bunker, Hardcore Luz looked at her two corrupted friends.

"Alright, I have an idea." She said.

She walked up to them, grabbed the back of their heads, and slammed them on the metal table.

"Oh fuck!" Toxin said, "What the hell was that?!"

"Ow, where are we?" Cardinal asked with a groan.

"You're at the Bunker." Hardcore Luz said.

"What? But I thought we left on patrol?" Cardinal asked, trying to rub his head but found himself in handcuffs. "What the hell happened to us?"

"And am I on drugs? Because I see two small Luz's standing in the corner watching us." Toxin said, pointing to Phoenix and Fighter Luz.

"A lot has happened, and it's safe to say that the entire multiverse is at stake." Hardcore Luz said, unlocking the handcuffs.

"The multiverse? The literal multiverse?!" Toxin asked in shock.

"That's right, Boscha. And these two me's are at the forefront." Hardcore Luz said, pointing to Phoenix and Fighter Luz.

"Them? But they're just kids." Cardinal said.

"Kids huh?" Hardcore Luz asked.

She pulled out her gun and shot Phoenix in the head, blowing it into a red mist, leaving nothing but a bloody stain with small bits of brain and skull on the ground, completely shocking Boscha, Amity, and Hunter.

"What the hell!?" Amity said.

Fire erupted and Phoenix was standing, alive and well.

"Can you warn me when you do that?" Phoenix asked before seeing their shocked expression. "I'm basically an unkillable fire god."

"Okay…." Boscha slowly said before looking to Fighter Luz. "And you?"

"Kickboxer with magic gloves." Fighter Luz said, showing them her gloves.

"That's... a lot less cool than the other thing." Cardinal said.

"Hey, you say that, but you all know better than to count out a human." Hardcore Luz said, making Fighter Luz smile a little.

"She's got a point." Skara said, walking into the room. "She has kicked all your asses in the last."

"Hey, don't forget she can outcode you." Boscha reminded Skara.

"That's a lie." Skara quickly said, denying it.

"I would like to mention that time is of the essence." Hardcore Luz said, "Skara, see if you can find Athena, everyone else, get ready... this is war."

"Does that mean-"

"Yes, we're getting the special equipment."

"Yes!" Boscha said.

"Skara, is she ready?" Hardcore Luz asked.

"It's very concerning that you gender your bat."

"Barbara is more than a bat."

'A bat?' Fighter Luz and Phoenix thought in confusion.

"She's like crack dream from Mad Max." Skara bluntly said, turning to go get "Barbara."

"And your attraction to computers isn't?" Hardcore Luz asked back.

"Shut up." Skara said.

She returned with a black metal bat, with barbed wire wrapped around it, razor blades wielded on, and rusted nails hammered into it.

"Here, a Nth metal bat, capable of surviving magic attacks." Skara said, "Should I get the... other things?"

"No, I can get them." Hardcore Luz said, "Everyone else, get ready."

"On it."

As Hardcore Luz left with her smaller copies following, everyone went their own ways to prepare for their finally encounter with Athena. Abomination headed to a special lab space in the bunker for her magic experimenting and looked at a large cauldron of white abomination muck.

"No way she's ready for Ghost Abominations." Amity said.

Amity used her magic to fill a large container on her back with it. Boscha and Hunter walked to an area that held the suits, and pressed a button, revealing to heavily armored suits. They're considered the "Weakest" on the team, so these are designed to help with that. The two sent each other a nod and get suited up.

"Ready for this?" Cardinal asked, holding out his staff, which also got a bit of an upgrade from the armor that made it more like a small red phoenix.

Boscha raised her arm, letting her needle come out of her wrist, before retracting it.

"Born ready."

Hardcore Luz walked over to her private work bench. She emptied the bullets out of her gun and put in her custom buckshot on the outer chamber, while the inner chamber got incendiary ammo. She put that in her jacket, and then grabbed a 15 inch long, serrated edged, nth metal knife. Finally, she put on a pair of black gloves with nth metal knuckle dusters attached to them.

"Damn, you're not messing around, are you?" Phoenix asked.

Hardcore Luz closed her fist around the knuckle dusters and gave a small squeeze, making them burst with electricity.

"No, I'm not."

"…Is your favorite movie about a post apocalyptic world with crazy people and crazier makeshift weapons?" Fighter Luz asked.

"Nope but it's a close 3rd. It was my inspiration for Barbara here." Hardcore Luz said as she gestured to her bat. "All versions of her."

"There's other versions?" Fighter asked.

"Yes, the Barbara was a basic wooden bat with barbed wire around it, Barbara 2.0 was a metal bat with barbed wire and razor blades, unfortunately she was destroyed, Barbara 3.0 here is Nth metal, which is magic proof and damages witches, with barbed wire, razor blades wielded to her, and rusted nails hammered into her, Barbara 4.0 is a wooden bat with a circular saw blade inserted into it, which is supposed to spin at high speed, but that's still a work in progress."

Fighter Luz and Phoenix could only stare at her in shock for a few moments, comprehending just how many times this VERY violent version of themselves have turned a bat into an even more lethal weapon.

"I know that look and forget it, this woman doesn't do therapy." Hardcore Luz said to them.

"That is very debatable." Fighter Luz said.

"I found something!" Skara said.

Hearing Skara's scream, everyone finished their prep and ran back to her as Skara was looking over the main bunker console.

"A traffic cam saw Athena heading towards the pier." Skara said.

"There's a lot of people there." Toxin said.

"And a lot of potential victims she could use against us." Cardinal said with some worry.

"Or a lot of collateral damage." Mr. Hardcore said, "She clearly has no qualms about killing innocent people. If it means beating us, then she may go to drastic measures."

"Then we need to her down there before she can cause a massacre!" Fighter Luz shouted.

"Let's go!" Mr. Hardcore said.

The group leaves the Bunker. Everyone took off into the city as fast as they could go. Abomination swung from building to building with her tendrils, Toxin flew on her gliding wings, Cardinal flew on his staff, Mr. Hardcore flew on his hoverboard with Mini-Me on his back, and Phoenix was her namesake to fly with them. On the pier, Athena was about to make herself know... by blowing up one of the stands. People screamed as they saw the explosion before another destroyed two more empty stands! Athena slowly walked towards the as the people turned to run for their lives and wondering where she came from or why the heroes aren't here yet!

"Oh, I haven't had this much fun in years!" Athena said.

She raised her axe, only for it to be knocked from her hand by a long knife.

"Athena!"

Athena growled out as she turned to the voice, seeing the three vigilantes out of her control and the three Luz's standing together to face her.

"I see you're stubborn." Athena said, making Husks rise from the ground.

"Yeah, we get that a lot." Hardcore Luz said for her younger selves as they all got ready for battle. "Mind telling us what these things are?"

"Husks. Shadow creatures that serve Athena. Don't let you guard down." Phoenix said with fireballs in her hands.

Toxin fell from the sky and sliced one in half with her retractable needle.

"We can take them!" Toxin said, "We've gone against worse."

"But I'm FAR worse!" Athena shouted as she summoned her axe back to her hand! "CHARGE!"

All of the husks roared/screeched to the sky before they took off running to the heroes!

Mr. Hardcore cracked his neck.

"Alright." He turned on his voice changer, "Bring it on."

The vigilante's ran at the dark magic creatures. Toxin used her fins to slice the husks apart, with Cardinal covering her from behind, using his staff to shoot fire spells at ones coming at him. Abomination used her Ghost Abomination muck, which is stronger and more durable than normal Abomination goo, and turned her arms into swords and slashed wildly at the husks. Fighter ran at one and back kicked it, knocking it right into Phoenix, who used her strength to throw them in the air. She held out her hands and Fighter Luz ran and put her foot on Phoenix's hands. Phoenix threw her into the air and Fighter decided to see if her power glyph worked here. She activated it and slammed her fist into the husk, making it land on the ground and destroying it. As they all fought the Husks, Mr. Hardcore walked up to Athena.

"You made a big mistake, you messed with MY city." Hardcore said.

"You're impressive, I must say, but you're still just a human." Athena said.

"I'll make you eat those words."

Hardcore ran at her but faked her out and jumped over her. He used his wrist grappler to try and pull her to him. It didn't work as Athena grabbed the line and pulled the vigilante towards her. She kicked Hardcore, right as he got close, sending him to the ground. He rolled out of the way of Athena's axe and got up, making fist and throwing several punches at Athena, striking her in several vulnerable areas of her armor. With a slight tightening of his hands, the knuckle duster gloves were charged with electricity, making the punches even more painful. Athena groaned as she moved back and reinforced her body with her dark magic before she swung her axe again, making Hardcore Luz dodge.

"I will not lose to the likes of you!" Athena shouted as she began to thrust her axe like a spear, making Hardcore Luz bob and weave the attacks.

Hardcore Luz rolled passed Athena and grabbed her knife from the ground, using her natural speed to throw her knife in the back of Athena's knee before she could move out of the way.

"Aaah!" Athena screamed before she was punched in the mask!

"You're not the first and you won't be the last!" Mr. Hardcore said before dropkicking Athena away.

Hardcore Luz pulled out her revolver, firing the buckshot/incendiary combo at Athena three times, firing a total of six bullets, three buckshot and three incendiaries. The buckshot damaged the armor, and the fire worked its way through the cracks.

"Aaaah!" Athena screamed in pain, feeling her armor damaged once again but even worse!

Hardcore Luz held her bat and ran at her. Athena managed to dodge the strike and raised her axe to block the next strike. She spun her axe and kicked at Hardcore Luz, who ducked and moved away as Athena stomped to break the ground!

"TEAR HER TO PIECES!" Athena shouted as she summoned more Husks to charge at Hardcore Luz.

Hardcore Luz swung her bat, destroying one of the Husks with ease, before pulling out her gun and firing more, before running out of bullets. She put her gun away and used her gloves, electrocuting them, but being too distracted by the husks to notice Athena running at her. She shoved the tip of her axe into Hardcore's side, lifting her up and throwing her to the side, making her drop all her weapons. Athena walked up to her and pulled the gloves off.

"Give up." Athena said.

"Bite me." Hardcore Luz said.

Hardcore held her side to stop the blood flow a little and got up. As this was happening, Fighter and Phoenix noticed.

"She's in trouble!" Fighter said.

"I'll clear a path; you get to her." Phoenix said.

Fighter Luz nodded and rushed to them, leaving Phoenix to send out a scatter shot of fire to destroy any Husk that got in her way.

"Ugh! Nngh!" Fighter Luz grunted as she jumped over one, sliding under another, and spin kicking anything before she kept running.

She was only a few feet away from Athena when she did a drop kick to her back. Athena stumbled back before looked at Fighter.

"Oh, you." Athena morphed her body, so she went from facing Hardcore to facing Fighter without turning, "I thought you've gotten your ass kicked enough times."

Athena slammed her axe into the wooden pier and ran at Fighter. Fighter went to block, but Athena's strikes were to strong. Athena broke two ribs of Fighter's with a single punch, and then punched her in the jaw, before kicking her to the ground.

"Give up, you aren't strong." Athena said, taking the gloves off Fighter Luz's hands, "I'll be taking these."

Fighter laid on the ground, before looking at Hardcore Luz, who was dragging herself to her gun. Athena stepped on the back of Hardcore's neck. Athena picked up her axe.

"I'm going to enjoy this." Athena said.

Fighter Luz began to pick herself up, groaning as she did. Athena heard this and turned around.

"You are seriously still trying?" Athena asked, walking over and punching Fighter back to the ground, "Give up! You aren't strong enough!"

Fighter closed her eyes and began to pick herself up again, only for Athena to slam both her hands to deliver an axe handle to Fighter, knocking her down again.

"Why!? Why get back up!?" Athena screamed, "You aren't strong enough to beat me!"

Fighter got back up and held a lose stance, barely able to stand. She wiped the blood from her mouth and looked at Athena.

"Being strong isn't about how hard you can hit... it's about how hard you can get hit and still get up." Fighter said, "The strongest person I've ever met taught me that."

Athena winded up for a punch and threw it at Fighter. Fighter closed her eyes and caught it.

"Uh!" Athena gasped as Fighter Luz opened her eyes, showing a great fire with greater resolve.

"You will NEVER be strong enough to beat me." She said before pulling Athena closer and kicking up in the chin!

"Ugh!" She grunted in pain.

Fighter Luz began to unleash on Athena, delivering several strong punches to Athena's ribs, then kicking her in the stomach and making her hunch over. Fighter Luz threw a strong punch at Athena's head, that forced Athena to turn around, only to be punched by Hardcore Luz.

"That's good! Keep it up!" Hardcore Luz said.

"Right!" Fighter Luz shouted as she hit Athena with a high kick that spun into a crescent moon kick to the side!

Athena was left groaning as she tried to attack before was grabbed from behind, pulled up and slammed into the ground with a German Suplex from Hardcore Luz.

"HUP." She said as she flipped over Athena, bringing her up and throwing her forward as Fighter Luz jumped and gave her a lariat her back to the ground!

"Are you seeing this? How are they working in sync?" Cardinal asked as he knocked away a Husk.

"Because they understand each other." Phoenix said, "They're fighters, and more importantly, they're humans in a world filled with powerful beings."

Toxin got between the two and sliced a Husk that was heading for them.

"That's the last of these things." Toxin said, "I think it's time for the main event."

Everyone turned to Athena as Hardcore Luz and Fighter Luz continued their team beatdown. Athena stumbled back before firing shadow blasts at them, but both humans rushed and dodged them before they were on both sides of Athena. Both girls jumped at Athena and kicked, hitting her in stomach and the back of the head. They both began to punch her in random spots, damaging her armor more, before Fighter Luz threw a punch at her head, knocking her back to the edge. Athena stood up and saw a piece of her mask. They all saw her eye, which was solid black, gray skin, black veins protruding out of her skin, and a few strands of black hair. The other Vigilantes, along with Phoenix, got behind Fighter and Hardcore. Athena let out a growl and opened a portal. She went through and closed it. Fighter Luz put her gloves on and looked at Hardcore Luz.

"Thank you, for everything." Fighter Luz said.

"No problem, just remember, it doesn't matter if you're a human, you can raise hell anywhere." Hardcore Luz said, "Now go, you need to stop her."

"On it." Fighter Luz said, "Come on, Phoenix."

The two opened a portal and Fighter looked at her partner.

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah... I'll tell you later." Phoenix said, feeling the book in her coat pocket.

They put on their suits and jumped in, heading for the next dimension.
