Summary: An accident in her youth changed Luz forever, making her become the only known human-robotic being on Earth. And after years of hiding her powers along with an incident with her mother, Luz ran away to a world where she could truly belong without worry.

"Hey." Fighter Luz said, making Phoenix turn to her as they flew to the next dimension.
"What?" Phoenix asked.
"I know it's not gonna be easy and I believe you can do it but, do YOU think you'll be able to forgive your Lilith?" Fighter Luz asked.
"I don't know, and right now, I just want to make it to the next dimension."
The human Luz nodded to her as the portal landed them in the next version of the Boiling Isles.

"Okay, looks like a normal Boiling Isles." Phoenix said.
"Yeah. I wonder what we look like here. A witch? Still a human? Or maybe even a biped demon?" Fighter Luz listed off as their suits retracted into their belts.
An explosion went off and the two didn't even need to look at each other before running to the source.
'Athena!' They thought, getting ready to fight and protect this version of themselves if she's near.
They made it to the source of the explosion and saw two people, one was a version of them, the other was Amity with an Abomination arm.
'Amity?' They thought, staring at the unique abomination arm as it began to shift form.
It became a sharp blade and she charged at Athena with it.
"RAAAH!" Amity shouted out, slashing at Athena as the dark magic user dodged her wild attacks.
"Interesting arm aside, your skill needs improvement." Athena judged before the other Luz seemingly teleported behind her. "You, on the other hand….."
Athena ducked and did a leg sweep, knocking both cyborgs down.
"Disappointing but I feel like you're holding back on me." Athena said, turning her head as she summoned her axe.
"Amity!" Cyborg Luz said.
"On it!" Amity said, as her arm morphed into a ray gun and fired at Athena.
Athena dodged the Ray gun blasts as Cyborg Luz leaned down, opening her back!
"Eat scatter missiles!" Cyborg Luz shouted, firing multiple missiles into the air and towards Athena.
"Woah, that's awesome." Fighter Luz said.
"Yeah but look." Phoenix said as Athena summoned Husk's and had them be cannon fodder for the missiles. "She's still holding her own. We need to stop her, how about a sneak attack?"
"You had me at attack." Fighter Luz said, cracking her knuckles. "Got a plan in mind?"
"Distract her, I'll get her from behind."
"Gladly. I know how to be loud when I want to be." Fighter Luz said, before placing her hand on the ground. "Just need a little boost."
With the push of her ice glyph, she was launched from an ice pillar into the air and dived down towards Athena. She angled her body in air so her leg was going to be the first thing Athena would be hit by. Cyborg Luz's nanobots picked up on something incoming, making her look up and see another version of her?
'Guys, are you seeing this?' Cyborg Luz thought in surprise.
"Indeed." The Nanobots said.
Amity also looked up.
'Is that?'
"From the looks of it, yes." Her nanobots said.
Athena looked to them and saw they had stopped attacking, thinking they needed time to cool off and recover.
'They're wide open.' She thought, conjuring an orb of shadows and aiming it. 'You're mine now.'
Athena was hit in the side by Fighter's leg, getting sent nearly a hundred feet, and she wasn't trying.
"BOOM BITCH!" Fighter Luz said with a grin.
"Ugh, you again." Athena said.
"Not just me, bitch." Fighter Luz said as Cyborg Luz and Amity walked up to her. "I'll explain later but right now, we need to fight."
Athena spun her axe a little.
"I will say, you've impressed me through this entire adventure, for that, I'll give you a quick death!" Athena said.
She charged at the trio with murder on her mind, dragging her blade against the ground for a trail of sparks!
'Anytime now, Phoenix.' Fighter Luz thought.
She raised her axe and... was tackled by an Unkillable Fire God.
"Raaah!" Phoenix screamed, dragging Athan through the ground in trench before through her into the air! "Hit her!"
"Gladly!" Fighter Luz said, quickly creating 2 Esperanza Brillante/Shining Hopes her hands! "You two can join in if you want!"
Phoenix spun in the air and threw Athena at Fighter Luz, who then used Shining Hope and slammed her hands against Athena.
"AAAAAH!" Athena let out as she was blown away from the attack as Cyborg Luz and Amity aimed their arms at her.
"Now, Amity!" Cyborg Luz said.
Amity and Luz's arm turned into a blaster and fired at Athena. Their fire added to the attack and exploded a distance away, as Phoenix joined the trio.
"Wish that's enough to end her but we both know it won't." She said to Fighter Luz.
"I know."
"Um, excuse me. Pardon my French but who the heck are you two!?" Cyborg Luz shouted as her eyes turned black and yellow, her nanobots scanning them quickly for analysis.
"Okay, I know you might not believe this but since you appear to be a…..a…..okay what the hell are YOU, exactly?" Fighter Luz asked, a little creeped out by her eyes. "A demon or something?"
"No, I'm a cyborg." Cyborg Luz said.
"Cyborg? As in nuts and bolts mixed with flesh and blood?" Phoenix asked her.
"I take some offense to that stereotype but yes. Flesh and blood mixed with nuts and bolts." Cyborg Luz said with a nod, before nodding to Amity. "Amity is similar but with her abomination arm."
"Aren't parents great?" Amity asked with sarcasm.
'Ouch. Once again, Odalia and Alador prove to be TERRIBLE parents.' Phoenix and Fighter Luz thought.
It made them wonder why they even had kids, outside of business deals and such.
"Okay, then. Now that that's cleared up, we're you from different universes. The multiverse theory and all that, called on by godlike beings to stop Athena from trying to conquer it or destroy or whatever!" Fighter Luz said, turning her attention back to their enemy.
"Multiverse?" Cyborg Luz asked.
"Wait, did you do it by using an interdimensional machine to break through the 166922.039 Kelvin dimensional barrier or-"
Suddenly an axe slammed onto the ground.
"Amity, I love you and your highly advanced intelligence, but we can go over the quantum physics of interdimensional travel later." Cyborg Luz said, "And if you want, we can solve the Riemann Hypothesis."
"Oh! It's a date!" Amity said with a smile.
Amity them held her arm up, not intimidating as it simply looked like her other arm, just made out of Abominations mixed with trillions of Nanobots.
"Nanobots... Axe form." Amity said.
"Yes, Amity." The Nanobots said.
Amity's arm shifted into an abomination axe.
"Nanobots, battle mode." Amity said.
"Yes, Amity." Her nanobots said, making her abomination arm quiver and shift as it began to spread around her body.
"I like the way you think." Luz said, "Nanobots, Battle mode."
"Gladly, Luz." Luz's nanobots said, keeping her eyes black and yellow as her arms and her legs became shiny and metallic.
Cyborg Luz looked over to Amity, who was now using an Abomination Form, and smiled.
"Shall we kick some ass?" Amity asked.
"Let's." Cyborg Luz said as Phoenix and Fighter Luz watched their interaction.
'From brainy to battle hunger? Even for me that's strange.' They both thought before getting ready to fight Athena as well.
The two moved at fast speed. Athena rose up to see the blitz towards her, making her duck back to dodge a double attack!
'They've got more tricks?!' Athena thought.
Luz and Amity held out their arms, which opened up and shifted into flamethrowers. The two fired at Athena, unleashing pink and orange fire at Athena.
"You think you can burn me?" Athena asked, creating a shield of shadows to block them.
"Maybe they can't, but I can!" Phoenix said from behind, the one part the shadow shield wasn't able to cover.
"Not this time!" Athena said, stomping her foot to summon a shadow portal to bring out some husks! "You'll have to deal with them first!"
"No problem!" Fighter Luz said, rushing from behind Phoenix and throwing a plant bomb!
Phoenix smirked at Fighter.
"Shall we?" Phoenix asked.
"Light it up!" Fighter Luz said as the plant bomb exploded and entangled the husks!
Phoenix smirked as she threw a fireball and ignited the vines, burning the husks as well. Fighter and Phoenix walked up to Athena and kicked her, sending her flying.
"Ugh!" Athena grunted, annoyed by all of them already!
'Why must my plans always be inferred with?!' Athena thought, correcting herself and skidding onto her feet.
"So, what other things are you able to do?" Phoenix asked.
Amity and Cyborg Luz smirked and grabbed hands.
"Nanobots." Cyborg Luz said, "Sword mode."
Cyborg Luz's body began to change and she formed into this massive sword.
"Nanobots, attack mode." Amity said.
Amity's Abomination arm began to cover Cyborg Luz and the two formed a flaming Abomination sword.
"Whoa! Does that not hurt?" Fighter Luz asked.
"Nope! Fireproof!" Cyborg Luz said as Amity got ready to attack.
"Ready, Luz?" Amity asked the sword.
"Aren't I always?" Cyborg Luz said.
Amity smiled and nodded before she rushed at Athena, ready to end this in a few attacks if she could.
'A giant living sword? Insane yet fascinating.' Athena thought, preparing her axe.
Amity swung Cyborg Luz and collided with Athena's axe. Athena could feel the intense heat coming from the cyborg sword, making her sweat under her armor as she pushed Amity away! The Blight cyborg didn't stop as she swung again, clashing with Athena as they entered a sort of duel of blades!
'Nanobots, abomination canon.'Amity thought.
Part of her arm moved up to her shoulder and a canon formed on Amity's shoulder. As Amity swung back, the cannon fired in Athena's face, sending her stumbling back as her helmet was extremely dented! She then retaliated by swinging Luz at Athena, disarming her.
"Let's finish her!" Cyborg Luz shouted
"Gladly!" Amity shouted, slashing to bisect Athena through the middle!
Athena disappeared, resulting in Amity missing completely.
"She's gone!" Amity said, looking around for her.
"Keep on your toes!" Fighter Luz shouted, rushing to her and standing back to back.
"Make room!" Phoenix said, moving to stand back to back to back and covering three points of view.
Cyborg Luz was held up by Amity, giving her a view of the sky.
"She's above us!"
right as she said that, Athena landed and knocked them all down.
"Do you mind if I try her?" Athena asked, reaching for Cyborg Luz as Amity laid on the ground.
"Got to hell." Amity replied, aiming her shoulder cannon at Athena again.
She blasted and knocked Athena back, giving Luz the chance to return to her normal form.
"She's more resilient than I thought." Cyborg Luz said.
"Yeah, it's what's so annoying about her." Fighter Luz said as everyone slowly rose up.
"Then I'm done messing around." Cyborg Luz said.
She held out two fingers and her eyes turned brown and pink.
"Let's see how strong my abomination can be with a little construction magic." Cyborg Luz said.
'Magic too?' Fighter Luz and Phoenix thought in surprise.
Cybertronics and magic, this Luz was truly a powerful one so far. Cyborg Luz made a large spell circle.
"Abomination, Rise!"
Forming from the circle, a 20ft tall abomination rose with clenched fists at the ready.
'Hmm, impressive.' Athena thought.
"Now, for a little brawn." Cyborg Luz said, drawing another large spell circle, this time creating two stone pillars around the abomination.
With another flick of the wrist, Luz made the pillars break down and enter the abomination to create a strong rock skeleton along with armor.
"Abomination, seize!"
"Rooooah!" The abomination roared, rushing towards Athena with his stone covered fists ready!
"Damn, that's impressive."
"I taught her that." Amity said with pride.
"Impressive." Athena said before snapping her fingers, creating a giant and bulky husk. "But mine's better."
The Abomination and Husk attacked each other. Watching it was like a Godzilla movie, both of them bashing and slashing way each other as the landscape around them took some damage.
"This is so cool." Fighter Luz said, pulling out her phone to record it.
"Uh... Fighter... we have company." Phoenix said.
Putting her phone down, Fighter Luz looked and saw more Husks forming around them as Athena turned to walk away.
"As fun as this is the watch, I have to go and repair my armor AGAIN because of you." She said, gazing back to them.
"You wouldn't need to if you just stopped." Phoenix said.
Athena stopped for a moment before she looked at her hand, swirling some of her magic in the center.
"You'd think so but no. What I have planned cannot be stopped now, not until I have what I want." Athena said before walking away again.
"Athena!" Fighter screamed.
"It's no use, we can't go after her until these husks are dealt with!" Phoenix said, before lighting up, "Come on!"
"Ugh! Fine! But I HATE this even more!" Fighter Luz shouted, creating flaming vine whips with her glyph gloves.
"Shall we?" Cyborg Luz asked, popping a blade from her right arm.
"Yes." Amity said, shifting her abomination nanite arm into a large gauntlet.
The two cyborgs charged. Fighter Luz and Phoenix charged as well, each one of them taking on 1/4th of the husk horde!
'Damn, this is easy with multiple people.' Phoenix thought.
Phoenix was using flames and strength to takeout the husks with punches or kicks while Fighter lashes them apart them with her whips. Cyborg Luz was blitzing through with clean cuts or cannon blasts while Amity just bashed them into pulp!
"Luz, did you send out the signal?" Amity asked.
"I did." Cyborg said, "They should be here soon."
"They? Who's they?" Fighter Luz asked, holding a husk in her whips before throwing it into a tree.
"Backup." Cyborg Luz said with a smile, holding a husk and stabbing it through the brain.
The husks kept coming, until they were "gunned down" by the Emperor's Coven guards.
"Spread out and make a perimeter! Don't let a single one of these beast escape!" A captain said as the coven scouts moved into position, gunning down Husks with their fingers.
"Damn, the more dimensions we go to, the more happy I am to see the Coven." Fighter said.
'I'm almost jealous with how many GOOD Belos' the multiverse has.' Fighter Luz thought.
Cyborg Luz looked at Amity, whose arm was sparking.
"Come on, Amity, let's get dad to fix you up. These two can tell Belos about what's happening."
"Dad?" Phoenix and Fighter Luz asked in surprise.
"Sure. I think I pushed it too far." Amity said, struggling to change it back it a normal arm but managed to do so.
They headed to the Castle, where Amity was taken by guards to Nathan's lab.
"Will she be okay?" Phoenix asked.
"She'll be fine, we can go check on her, Belos will probably be on the way there, but she may have her arm removed in order to see if the circuit is damaged in the arm itself or the circuit in her shoulder is damaged." Cyborg Luz said, "My body can repair itself, but she is a fairly new cyborg so only parts of her have become cybernetic, so she needs someone else to look after her and repair her arm."
"And our-your dad can do that? He's…alive in this universe?" Fighter Luz asked, a bit scared and nervous right now.
"Yes, he is. It was an incredible shock to me too. Like, mind blowing to be honest." Cyborg Luz said, making a gesturing on her head. "PEW!"
"Anyway, let's go."
The group continued to Nathan's lab, with Fighter Luz and Phoenix being very quiet and very nervous since this is the first time they had seen their father ALIVE in a LONG time. Even from the multiverses they visited, they never saw their father alive. They entered and saw Amity without her arm and Nathan working on it, using a soldering iron on the circuits sticking out of Amity's shoulder.
"Any troubles before now? Any struggling with maintaining an arm-like shape?" Nathan asked Amity, not seeing his daughter or her two copies.
"No, I think the motor locked up because it won't go above my shoulder." Amity said.
"Very likely, or it got over used and was stripped." Nathan said, "The port for your arm is a bit damaged as well and I can't reattach your arm until the port is fix."
"And how long will it take to fix? Because we've got a bit of a problem that needs to be dealt with." Amity said, trying not to sound impatient.
"Hopefully not too long." Nathan said.
Amity nodded to him and waited as Cyborg Luz cleared her throat.
"Hey, dad." She said, making him turn around.
"Lu-" He stopped when he saw three newly identical versions of his daughter, "I don't remember finishing the cloning machine."
'Cloning machine?' They thought, aside from Cyborg Luz.
"No, these aren't clones of me. They're actually alternative versions from different universes." Cyborg Luz said.
"Universe? As in the multiverse theory?" Nathan asked, surprise and excited. "I thought the demon realm alone was enough proof but this is even greater!"
He immediately started writing notes on Fighter Luz and Phoenix.
"Oh, Glyph Gloves, why didn't I think of this?" He asked, before looking at Phoenix, "And what does the red arms of your do? Are they a type of poison?"
"Dad, focus." Cyborg Luz said.
"Oh, right. Sorry." Nathan said, quickly putting his notes away and holding his hand out. "Hello, Luz. I'm not sure if you know me or not but in this universe, I am Nathan Noceda."
'Nathan?' Fighter Luz thought, not being the name of HER father in her own universe but this man did have his face. 'Might just be a multiverse difference.'
"Yep... hi." Fighter Luz said, "We're looking for... Emperor Belos."
"He should actually be on his way here right now." Nathan said, heading back to Amity, "The port should be fixed."
Phoenix and Fighter looked at the small metal node coming out of her arm.
"Yeah, that's made of Nanobots and connect to the arm." Cyborg Luz said to them, "When she changes her arms form, or even becomes an abomination, it will automatically adjust to fit a new role."
"What happened to her arm?" Phoenix asked.
Cyborg Luz let out a sigh.
"You should know about how dangerous fire could be." Cyborg Luz said, "Odalia burned her arm right to the bone. Had to get it amputated."
"Burned?" Phoned asked, feeling a bit bad at the thought of fire burning someone she loved.
"Yes, felt REALLY guilty about it even after Amity got her new arm." Cyborg Luz admitted.
"Why were you guilty?"
"Because, I was sort of stuck as a wearable flamethrower and she used me to burn Amity." Cyborg Luz admitted.
"A problem we have long since fixed." Nathan quickly added.
Amity grabbed her arm and connected it to the port. The Abomination goo spread over her chest and hooked into small holes across her chest, shoulder, armpit, and back. She moved her arm, flexed her fingers, and formed a sharp blade with the abomination go.
"Perfect." Amity said.
"Anyway, if you're wondering why we're her exactly….dad…it's because the multiverse is in danger." Phoenix said to him. "A woman in red armor named Athena is in your universe and she's possibly looking for something."
"She's looking to Nanotech." Cyborg Luz said, "I saw that little ball she had and scanned it, she needs nanotech for it to help stabilize all the other things in it, because that's the only thing adaptable enough to work."
"What? You figured it out already?" Fighter Luz asked in surprise.
"The nanobots are really helpful with things like that. Very quick at scanning and analysis." Cyborg Luz said, tapping her head.
"Now the question is, where is she?"
"Hmm, can you describe what magic she uses? Maybe I could track it." Nate said to them.
"Track it? With what?" Phoenix asked him.
"During my time in this realm after being revived, I have made a way to track certain magical signatures if they are unique enough compared to ordinary witches. The coven heads and wild witches are prime examples because they have higher amounts of magic energy than others." Nate said.
"She uses some kind of Shadow magic."
"Shadow magic you say? That is a VERY rare type of magic." Nate said, moving to the side of his lab and grabbing a unique looking device. "Which mean it will be the easiest with my magic locator."
"Needs a better name." The Luzs said, looking towards each other in surprise.
"….I know but I'll workshop it later." Nate said to them.
"I hope you aren't doing something without me." A new, familiar, voice said
The two Luzs gasped a bit as everyone turned to the doorway of the lab, seeing someone standing with their arms crossed.
"Emperor Belos, I'm glad you came." Nathan said.
"I felt it was necessary after the mission report was given to me." Belos said before turning to the three Luz Nocedas. "It would seem it was right about their being three Luzs fighting off a shadow husk army."
"It's the multiverse, they're me from different universes." Cyborg Luz said as Fighter Luz and Phoenix took a step back. "They might be a little cautious about you though."
"Yes, I've also studied a bit about the Multiverse theory." Belos said, "I'm guessing you two are from dimensions where I'm not the nicest person."
"You tried to kill Eda, King, and Lilith." Fighter Luz said.
"You tried to kill the entire population of the Isles... and nearly succeeded before I killed you." Phoenix said.
"…Nevermind, I'm a complete monster ass." Belos said bluntly about himself in other universes.
"That's putting it lightly." Fighter Luz said, smirking a bit.
'Another good Belos that's not afraid to scold himself. Hehehehe.' She thought.
"So, what seems to be the problem?"
"She wants to conquer or destroy the multiverse, and to do either she's been traveling from universe to universe gathering things and trying to off any version of us that she finds." Phoenix said, gesturing to herself and Fighter. "Two gods picked us to help stop her but she's been building something after grabbing an item from one of the universes."
"What were the items?" Belos asked as Nate was preparing his magic tracker.
"First was a magic orb from a universe where a witch could fuse with their palisman." Fighter Luz said, counting with her fingers. "Second, she had a Blacksmith version of us work on it as she kept us distracted. Then she dropped it into a lake of Titan's blood in a universe where humans could manipulate the elements."
"There's also some kind of living Abomination organism sample in it." Cyborg Luz said.
"Yeah, that was a weird world." Phoenix said.
"I guess there's something about Nanotech that is needed to keep it stabilized." Fighter Luz said, "At least according to this dimensions Luz."
"That is going to be a problem since the only source of nanobots are right here in this lab. And the only two people that possess them in their body are this Luz and Amity." Belos said, gesturing to Cyborg Luz and Amity. "There is no other place in the demon realm to find them."
"Really? Then why did she leave?" Phoenix asked as Cyborg Luz went stiff.
'Guys?' She thought to her nanobots.
"Yes, Luz?" The nanobots asked.
'Did the Blight parents ever extract any of you from my body when I was under their control?' Cyborg Luz thought.
"That's... very possible."
"WHAT?!" Cyborg Luz shouted, making everyone jolt as they turned to her. "Guys we have a problem!"
"What the fuck is your problem?" Fighter Luz asked.
"No! It's everyone's problem!" Cyborg Lu said, turning to Belos. "My nanobots just told me that Odalia extracted some of them when I was under her reprogramming! Meaning there's some left in the private island that lab was hidden!"
"Oh my, Titan." Belos said, "I'll get a flying carriage ready, but it may-"
"I can fly, I can get there fast." Phoenix said, "If we wait, then she'll get what she needs with complete ease and no one can stop her."
"You'll need someone to lead the way. I still know the way." Cyborg Luz said, producing jet thrusters from her shoulders and calves. "I can fly as fast as you can."
"Then let's go." Phoenix said.
The two of them rushed out of the castle and jumped into the air, one floating and the other igniting her jets from her body, blasting off towards the island as fast as they could go!
"There's no time to waste." Belos said, "The rest of you follow me."
Amity, Nate, and Fighter Luz followed Belos out of the lab to the hanger for the flying carriages, rushing as fast as they to catch up with the other two. With the other two, they were moving so fast water moved a few seconds AFTER they passed it.
"Jeez! You really are fast! I haven't found anyone who could keep up with me, not even with magic!" Cyborg Luz said, flying side by side with Phoenix.
"Back at you! This is the fastest I've gone in a while!" Phoenix said, with her blue flames showing as she used it for extra speed.
'Anger is a great motivator.' Phoenix thought as she flew faster.
"How much longer til we reach the island?" Phoenix asked.
"T-minus one minute and counting!" Cyborg Luz said, pointing to the island. "It's coming into view!"
"Good." Phoenix said.
The duo continued flying towards the island at high speed, actually evaporating the boiling water under them. They make it to the Island and Cyborg Luz closed her eyes.
"They're not here anymore." She said quietly.
"What?! They're not?!" Phoned asked in shock.
"No, I'm not talking about the Nanobots... this is where the Blights tore me open and messed with me... they turned me into a weapon, wanted me to kill my friends... I haven't been back since and... it's giving me some... bad memories." Cybor Luz said, "This is where I burned Amity's arm."
She moved to grab her right arm, the one she used as a flamethrower nozzle.
"I didn't want to come back here, even after both parents met their end." She said.
"Listen, I understand that this can be scary, I know what it's like to be afraid and feel like the world has stopped spinning. But that's nothing compared to what she would do if we don't stop her." Phoenix said, powering down and putting a hand on Cyborg Luz's shoulder, "Look at me, you don't need to worry about that this time, anyone here can burn me as much as they'd like, I can take it and give it back."
Cyborg Luz turned to Phoenix and gave a small smile, nodding to her as her spirits were raised again.
"She really is a lot like you." The nanobots said to Cyborg Luz.
"Come on, we have a bitch to kill." Phoenix said.
"Yeah. Come on, the laboratory is right this way." Cyborg Luz said as she led the way.
The two walked through the woods, with Cyborg Luz using a blade, that came out of her wrist, like a machete to cut plants.
"I don't think I've been to this island before in my universe. I'll have to explore it when I return." Phoenix said as she looked around.
"Yeah. The nature here is pretty cool looking but I didn't get to enjoy it as much." Cyborg Luz said, slicing more leaves out the way.
"There it is." Cyborg Luz said, looking at the building that had been taken over by plants.
It had been a long time since anyone had been here but the plant life seems to have grown faster than anticipated.
"Creepy but it looks untouched. We might've beaten Athena here." Phoenix said.
"I wouldn't count on it... the plants on the doors have been cut." Cyborg Luz said, "And I know this place doesn't have a gardener."
Phoenix gave a blank expression as she gazed at the cyborg.
"We don't all have telescopic eyes. Let's just go." Phoenix said, a bit jealous at the moment.
"Yeah, let's." Cyborg Luz said, "Battle mode."
"Right away." The nanobots said, changing Cyborg Luz into her standard battle mode.
"I'll lead." Phoenix said, igniting her blue flames on her arms and hair.
Phoenix went in the building first, using her fire to light the way.
"Looks like the plants got into the power source. It's gonna be tough searching in the dark for anyone but us." Cyborg Luz said.
"That means Nothing, Athena loves the dark, pretty sure she was born in it."
"Oh my god, did you just quote what I think you just did?" Cyborg Luz asked with glee.
"Yes and I kind of hate myself for wanting to geek out right now." Phoenix admitted.
'Curse you, Dark Knight Rises.' Phoenix thought, 'It was such a good movie!'
Putting their inner nerds aside, the duo continued through the abandoned facility towards the lab. It was their best shot at finding the nanobots and hoping Athena didn't find them first.
'Do you still have the blueprints of the place on file?' Cyborg Luz thought.
"Affirmative." The nanobots said.
'Then give me a paper projection please.' Cyborg Luz thought, holding up palm up.
"Right away." The nanobots said.
A small hologram formed from her hand.
"Okay, if this is right, then the stairs should be up ahead."
"Got it." Phoenix said with a nod, leading the way.
Phoenix found the double metal doors and grabbed them where they met. She ripped them off, folding the cold steel like paper.
"Um?" Cyborg Luz asked.
"Don't judge me. You can do the same." Phoenix said to her.
"Yeah, but I didn't."
Phoenix threw the doors aside and walk inside as Cybrog Luz followed her. The lab wasn't much different from the rest of the facility but it's a little bit better as some of the machines and beakers remain dustless or plant-less.
"Alright, do you know where your nanobots are?" Phoenix asked.
"I can sense them." Cyborg Luz said.
Cyborg Luz disabled the map and began moving towards the nanobots as the signal got stronger and stronger.
"Our brothers and sisters are here. The machine in the far back." The nanobots inside her side.
"It should be up here." Cyborg Luz said.
Giving off a brighter light, Phoenix looked around on the table for nanobots container. What she found... was skeletons.
"Woah, are these-"
"The Blights? Yeah." Cyborg Luz said.
"Yikes, guess witches decompose faster than human." Phoenix said at the sight of them.
"Good." Cyborg Luz said.
Turning back to the table, Cuborg Luz saw a lead covered tube covered in dust.
"There it is, our brethren are inside!" The nanobots said as Cyborg Luz grabbed the tube.
"I've got them! The nanobots are safe!" She said to Phoenix.
An axe blade rested against Cyborg Luz's shoulder.
"I recommend you give those to me." Athena said, "Otherwise I extract them from you... personally."
She gasped in shock, turning around and hitting her back against the table as she saw Athena standing behind her!
"H-How did you get in here?! When did you get in here?!" Cyborg Luz shouted.
"I don't think I'll tell you."
"Where's Phoenix?!" Cyborg Luz asked, pointing her hand at Athena.
"Oh don't worry about her, she's fine. Just taking a little swim in the boiling sea." Athena said, putting her axe in her shoulders. "She'll live, trust me. Not even scolding water could put her out."
"But, it will keep her out of the way."
"Luz, we must run. The energy level and lives signals we are getting from this woman are not natural!" The nanobots warned her.
"Why are you doing this? Why do you need a piece of me?" Cyborg Luz asked, referring to the nanobots in her hand.
"I'd tell you, but you're a smart girl, you can figure it out."
"You need these for the device." Cyborg Luz said, "Without a self-repairing compound, it's unstable and you can't use it for whatever it is you need it for... which is enough for me to know that I need to keep this away from you."
"And that's why I need them. So just hand them over and I promise not to turn you into a pile of scrap metal." Athena said, holding her hand out.
"No." Cyborg Luz said.
"Fine, I'll just take them... from inside you!" Athena said charging at her.
She swung at the cyborg, making her dodge as the table was slashed in half!
"Eat this!" She quickly said, throwing a one armed barrage of punches!
Cyborg Luz dodged each attack.
'Battle mode!' Cyborg Luz quickly thought.
She quickly threw the canister up and opened her hand, firing powerful blasts at Athena to force her back!
"Luz, our brothers!" The nanobots said.
"I know!" Cyborg Luz said, quickly catching them.
Athena sent the butt of her axe into the back of Cyborg Luz. "Guh!" Cyborg Luz grunted as she was forced to the floor.
"You aren't so tough for being made of metal." Athena said, as a black flame was formed in her hand, "Why don't I smelt you into Ingots and put you to use?"
"Temping offer but no thanks!" Cyborg Luz said, popping her shoulders jets out and blasting Athena with them!
The armored woman was sent crashing into the ceiling as Cyborg Luz rolled away and let her crash where she laid.
"Ouch." Athena let out, smoking.
'Nanobots... obliteration mode.' Cyborg Luz thought.
"Are you sure?" The nanobots asked.
'Nobody else is on the island. It's just her and us, we don't have to worry about anyone else getting hurt. And even if Phoenix comes back, she can survive it.' Cyborg Luz thought as Athena was getting up.
"Very well, preparing Obliteration Mode." The Nanobots said.
Cyborg Luz felt her eyes glow brightly as she stabbed her fingers into the canister, allowing the nanobots inside to re-enter her body.
'This is gonna take all of you.' She thought, feeling her nanobots colony become whole again.
Luz's skin became metal, except this was a black metal, her eyes became black and red, two large turrets formed on her shoulders, missile launchers formed on her arms, and her hands became flame throwers.
"Obliteration mode is complete." The nanobots said.
"Good." Cyborg Luz said.
"Well, what do we have here?" Athena asked, seeing the cyborg's new form.
"Your end." Cyborg Luz said as the turrets started spinning.
Bullets began to fly out of them, while she also fired her rockets and shot fire at Athena. Seeing all of this coming at her, Athena quickly slipped into a shadow and moved around the lab as Cyborg Luz continued to fire after her.
'I've got your magical signature!' She thought, still firing her weapons, 'You can try and hide but I'll find you!'
Eventually, Athena came out of the shadow and fired energy blasts at Cyborg Luz but she just dodged and ran across the room to fire more bullets, missiles, and fireballs at the red armored woman!
'She's strong, stronger than I first thought.'
Athena quickly moved and charged at Cyborg Luz, creating a shadow shield to take most of the enemy fire.
"She's coming right towards us!" The nanobots shouted.
Cyborg Luz had her Nanobots funnel into her hand. She turned around and threw a massive punch, shattering Athena's shield.
"You're mine!" Cyborg Luz shouted, funneling Nanobots into her other fist.
"Right back at ya!" Athena said, holding back her axe!
The two charged at each other. Cyborg Luz retracted her weaponry in favor of hand to hand combat, throwing three punches Athena blocked with her staff before dodging a slash. Athena kicked as Cyborg Luz blocked before the cyborg drop kicked her back!
'One perk of metal bones, I can punch the engine out of an 18 wheeler.'
Athena stumbled and skid across the floor before coming back to her feet.
"Good, very good." Athena said with a crack of her neck.
"I like you." Athena said, "And I wouldn't like to rip you apart in order to get your nanobots."
Cyborg Luz froze.
"That's what you fear isn't it?" Athena asked, "Being pulled apart, being made into a weapon."
"You don't know anything about me. I've already conquered that fear!" Cyborg Luz said, going on the attack again!
"Have you?"
Athena dodged her attacks and blocked a kick before knocking Cyborg Luz off her feet.
"Were you not the reason this universe's Amity lost her arm? Didn't the Blights turn you into a weapon to try to kill you friends and father?" Athena mocked.
"Shut up!"
Cyborg Luz unleashed more fire blasts, making Athena jump back with a flip and stab her axe into the wall before standing on it.
"Did you feel anything when you tried to kill them? Did you try to stop yourself or did you just follow orders like a good little machine and tried to slaughter them mercilessly?" Athena asked with her hands behind her back.
"SHUT UP!"
Cyborg Luz popped her abomination sniper gun out and aimed it at Athena!
'Oh! She's got abomination weaponry too! Should've expected that bout it's still fascinating!' Athena thought as she dodged a hardened abomination bullet.
"It will take more than that to stop me." Athena said.
Cyborg Luz continued to fire at Athena as the armored woman jumped up and dodged more bullets.
Soon, Athena was close enough to get her. Athena swung her axe and... it didn't make a dent.
"What!?"
"Not only are my bones made of metal, but I've taken to making sure that under my skin is a thin layer of steel." Cyborg Luz said, "I made sure no one could ever rip me open again."
A quick punch to the chest, Athena felt her ribs crack as she was sent flying back and crashing through old machines before hitting far wall!
"Yeah, I'm going to enjoy this." Cyborg Luz said.
"Would you like to use the "martial arts from anime" file?" The nanobots asked.
'Sure.'
Quickly accessing the file, Cyborg Luz assumed a battle stance.
"Now accessing Akido from Baki." The nanobots said.
'Let's go.'
Cyborg Luz charged at Athena as she got up and swung her axe at her, but the cyborg just smirked as she stopped the axe by catching it in her hands.
"That won't work." Cyborg Luz said, throwing the unbreakable axe to the other side of the room
"Grrrr!" Athena growled before throwing a punch, something Cyborg Luz anticipated and moved dodge while gently grabbed her arm.
'And with just a fluid motion….' Cyborg Luz thought before smoothly throwing Athena over her head like she was a pillow.
'Where did this come from!?' Athena thought.
She crashed to the ground as Cyborg Luz switched to a new stance.
"Now accessing Shotokan-style Karate from Street Fighter." The nanobots said.
"Come on, I thought you were meant to be strong!" Cyborg Luz said
She charged forward and began dealing expert strikes like a master martial artist and finished with a rising uppercut. Athena was knocked to the floor.
"Ugh!" Athena groaned, growling in angry with getting her ass handed to her AGAIN!
A door opened and Athena smiled.
"Well, if I can't get nanobots from you..." She turns to the group, mainly Luz's dad, "I'll get it from the creator."
She disappeared in a cloud of smoke and reappeared behind Mr. Noceda.
"You're coming with me!" She said, disappearing with him.
"DAD!" Cyborg and Fighter Luz shouted in shock!
The roof suddenly broke through as Phoenix slammed down in the middle of the lab, reforming her human self.
"Where is she?! Where is that armored bitch?!" Phoenix shouted in anger, looking around for Athena.
"She's gone." Cyborg Luz said, "She... has my dad."
"What?! FUCK!" Phoenix shouted in anger. "She could be anywhere now!"
"Not exactly true." Belos said, "He has the staff we made, and specifically for this moment, there is a tracker in it."
"You put a tracker in his staff?" Fighter Luz asked.
"No, Nathan put than in himself. Said it was just in case it was ever stolen." Amity said.
"He always likes to have a back up plan." Belos said.
Belos drew a spell circle and summoned the tracker, activating it as everyone began moving around him to see.
"She brought him to his lab."
"Back on the Boiling Isles?! Fuck!" Phoenix shouted. "It's gonna take us forever to get back before she gets what she wants!"
"I know." Fighter Luz said.
"Luz, I believe it's time." The nanobots said.
'For what?' Cyborg Luz thought to them.
"Teleportation." The nanobots replied.
'Are you crazy! That fries my systems!'
"We know but with the return of our brothers and the new magical weaponry given by the deceased Blights, your systems resistance and recovery are much higher than ever before." The nanobots said.
'What's the exact number?' She thought.
"Your current rate of recovery from system shock, 87.43%." The nanobots said.
'I guess it's better than the 50/50 it usually is.'
"So, why not try it and save our father?" The nanobots asked Luz.
'I guess but we've never tried it with a group. It might not work or have crazy consequences like media exaggerates.' Cyborg Luz thought.
"I may have a way to get us back to the mainland." Cyborg Luz said.
This caught everyone's attention as they looked back to Cyborg Luz.
"You do?" Amity asked her. "How?"
"It's a bit untested but I think I can teleport all of us back." Cyborg Luz said, returning to her normal mode, "It may be a bit risky, as I've never done it without frying my systems, and I've never done it with this many people."
"And you still want to do this?" Fighter Luz asked if she was crazy.
"It does sound risky." Hunter said in agreement.
"So does letting her get even a single nanobot." Cyborg Luz said, "Besides... she might hurt my dad."
"It still sounds like a risky move. Are you sure you can handle it?" Amity asked her.
"I don't know but we don't have a choice. Not only is dad's life on the line but the multiverse if Athena completes that strange orb." Cyborg Luz said to everyone, "Everyone hold onto me."
'I've got a bad feeling about this but I gotta believe in me.' Phoenix thought as she moved closer.
'If this switches our bodies, please don't make me Belos.' Fighter Luz thought as she moved closer too
Being in Eda's body was bad enough and she didn't need to be in the body of a powerful dictator... actually that sounds like it would be fun for the day, but she doesn't have time. Everyone moved around Cyborg Luz and grabbed onto her hand, shoulder, or arm as she began charging up with magic energy. Cyborg Luz closed her eyes and a flash appeared around all of them.
"Hang on, everyone!" Cyborg Luz shouted.
They all disappeared from the old building and in the main entrance of the castle. Cyborg Luz immediately fell down to her knees.
"Circuit damage found. Repair program initiated. Estimated repair time: 30 Minutes." The Nanobots said, "Teleporting with that many people is the most likely cause of the damage."
'I knew that was too big of a risk but at least it paid off.' Cyborg Luz thought as Amity moved closer to check on her.
"I'm glad it worked but you won't be moving for a while, will you?" Amity asked her.
"Not for 30 minutes, no." Cyborg Luz said, shaking her head.
"Don't worry, we'll save him." Phoenix said.
"We must hurry. I can teleport us to the lab from here." Belos said, holding up his staff to teleport all of them but Cyborg Luz and Amity to Nathan's lab.
While the two cyborgs are unable to help, they've done enough. Meanwhile in the lab, Athena had Nathan at axe point as he was unlocking a vault.
"They won't work like you think they will." Nathan said.
"I'll be the judge of that, prototype nanobots are still useful." Athena said.
'If I can't have the finished product, I'll take the prototype.' Athena thought.
"Now, open it." Athena said.
Nathan moved slowly to open the dial with care, trying not to be killed again by this strange woman. He opened the safe, and Athena was about to grab the prototype, only for a blast of blue fire hit the safe door, closing it before she could get it.
"Don't even think about it." Phoenix said.
Athena and Nathan turned around, meeting with the sight of Phoenix, Fighter Luz, Belos, and Hunter standing at the entrance of the lab.
"I thought you would still be drowning in the sea." Athena said.
"Bitch, I can fly, I can get places easily." Phoenix said.
"Now step away from our dad and we'll only partially smash your head in." Fighter Luz said as she punched her hand.
"Hm, now, why would I step away from a meat shield?" Athena asked, "As long as he's in danger, you won't do anything."
She grabbed Nathan and held the axe by his neck, drawing some blood with how close it was. The deep growl that came from the Luz's made even Belos flinch.
"Ah Ah Ah. No sudden moves." Athena said before creating two shadow tendrils and worked in the safe again. "Now, back to the safe."
"You were watching me and memorized the combination, very astute." Nathan commented, seeing the tendrils work.
"What can I say? I've got it all. Brains, brawn, power, and looks but you don't need to see the last part." Athena said as she opened the safe and grabbed the prototype nanobots. "And now I've got what I needed."
"If you think we'll let you go, then you're mistaken!"
"Really? Then come and take them!" Athena said before kicking Nathan towards them!
Hunter was quick to teleport to Athena as Belos caught him with his magic! Hunter teleported behind Athena and put her in a choke hold with his staff.
"Too easy." Hunter said.
"Think again." Athena said, jumping back and slamming Hunter into the wall!
He grunted in pain as she used her hand to break his staff handle in half and pulled away. Athena then kneed him in the stomach, pushing him deeper in the wall.
"I wonder, are you really a magicless witch in this world... or just another Grimwalker." Athena said, making Belos flinch, "Let's find out."
Athena raised her arm and was about to shove it through his chest, when a blue arm grabs hers.
"Don't even think about it." Phoenix said.
With a firm grip, Phoenix flipped Athena over and slammed her into the ground before throwing her to Fighter Luz!
"Coming at you!" Phoenix shouted.
"Got it!" Fighter Luz shouted, winding back and throwing a Russian Hook into Athena's chest!
Athena was taken to the ground.
"Ugh!" Athena groaned before Fighter Luz stomped her head into the ground!
'Again!' She thought before stomping again and again, not stopping until she's done.
Athena grabbed Fighter's leg, only for Fighter to jump and use her other leg to stomp on her, this time making a crater.
"Ground pound, bitch!" Fighter Luz shouted before jumping up and firing ice spikes at Athena.
Athena rolled out of the way and picked her axe up. She swung it at Fighter Luz, but Phoenix flew in and grabbed the axe blade.
"Don't even think about it!"
She pulled the axe from her hands and grabbed the handle, swinging to cut Athena's right shoulder!
"Aaaah!" Athena let out, in pain from her own blade being used on her!
"How's that feel, bitch?"
"Nothing I haven't felt before!" Athena shouted as she kicked her Phoenix away, stumbling back as she pulled her axe out of her shoulder!
'I've got the prototypes but I can't add them to the orb with them around!' Athena thought before Belos blasted her with a large magic blast!
"Give up and I promise I will make your end painless." Belos said.
"I don't think you will." Athena said, hold out a hand and had it glow black.
Suddenly, the floor under them began black as night and shadow tendrils rose to grab them all!
"Shadow magic!" Hunter said, being held up and against the wall with his staff a few feet away.
'This should help keep them back while I get away.'
Phoenix tried to burn away the tendrils as Athena backed away slowly, holding her shoulder and reclaiming her axe as she opened a dimensional portal behind her.
"Until next time." Athena said.
Athena was about to go through, when abomination goo hit her in the head. They all turned and saw Amity with her abomination arm held out.
"Don't even think about leaving." Amity said.
Cyborg Luz walked next to her.
"We aren't finished yet."
"Ugh, why can't you people just stay DOWN!?" Athena shouted, sending more shadow tendrils at the two cyborgs!
"Because you irritate us." Cyborg Luz said.
"And because you're pure evil and need to be stopped." Amity said as her abomination arm began to heat up, igniting in magenta fire.
"Which means it's out job to put you down."
With a wave of her hand, a sea of flames spread through the room and burned away all the shadow tendrils.
"These flames." Nathan said in surprise, seeing them so skillfully controlled.
Cyborg Luz made a magenta spell circle and Abomination goo flew at Athena. The armored woman spun her axe with one hand, blocking the goo before some managed to grab her feet! She was dragged away from the portal and slammed into the ceiling before slammed into the ground!
"That was for using my dad." Cyborg Luz said.
"And this is for my nephew!" Belos shouted, pointing his staff at Athena and trapping her in an orb of magic.
Red lightning was released inside, shaking Athena greatly as she screamed/growled in pain.
"Give up, or else... I WILL kill you." Belos said.
"You know... you never answered my question. Is your 'Nephew' a Grimwalker, or a magicless witch? And if he is a Grimwalker... what about the others you made before him, have you shown him where the bones of the others are?"
Belos popped the bubble and held Athena up by her neck. This is exactly what she wanted, she got under his skin, it makes it easy to beat them.
"Bite your tongue." Belos said, glaring with glowing eyes as his grip grew tighter.
"You're just like my version... a simple man." Athena said, "And just like in my dimension... I'll kill you."
Athena summoned her axe and cut Belos arm off, clean through. Belos yelled in agony, and Athena opened the portal.
"Til we meet again."
She ran through the portal, while Hunter ran to Belos.
"Uncle!"
"Hunter... get back!" Belos said.
Belos arm got reattached, by some green goo substance coming out of his body.
"Uh, what's going on?" Phoenix asked.
"The curse." Nathan said, "That's the reason I was brought here... to help with this... you two need to go, we can handle things from here!"
"Are you sure?" Fighter Luz asked, only being nice because this was a rare good Belos.
"I've been handling his condition for years, I know what I'm doing so don't worry. Just got and stop that madwoman." Nathan said.
Phoenix looked at Fighter Luz.
"What ever you decide to do, I'll be by your side." Phoenix said.
She looks back to her alternate father before looking Cyborg Luz.
"You better take care of him, you hear me?" Fighter Luz said to her.
"With my very life." Cyborg Luz said with a nod.
"Phoenix, let's go."
The flaming haired Luz nodded as she activated her dimensional travel belt, something Fighter Luz did the same, before they opened a new portal to a new universe. They looked at their dad one last time before jumping through the portal.
