Summary: Luz Noceda-Triplet, a 19 year old woman, with one arm, two wives, and a legendary sword, has been through more than most ever will. Watching people she loved die in front of her, being kidnapped, having her death faked, cutting her own arm off, and nearly being petrified to save her mother. After all this, one thing is certain... if you mess with her, you're not going to survive.

They land in Bonesborough.
"Hmm, wonder where we are-"
"Phoenix, look." Fighter Luz said.
They saw a massive statue depicting five people. One with a giant hammer, one with a boomerang, one with dual swords, one with a broadsword, and one with a sword that they couldn't really describe the shape of. Each person was in a different position.
"Wow, this is like….the third dimension where I've seen a statue tribute to us." Phoenix said in surprise. "Counting my own, you know."
"Yeah, I figured. Still, this one is different because our friends and girlfriend are with us." Fighter Luz said.
"Wait... is that Boscha... with glasses?" Phoenix asked.
"Do you not remember Vampire Luz's world?" Fighter Luz asked, "Boscha wore glasses there too... come on, let's head to the Owl House, if it's anything like before, we may be there."
Phoenix nodded as they left for the owl house through the forest. The usual avoiding detection since it appeared the Luz of this universe was older. If they had to guess, this version of her was about 19 judging by the statue. They arrived to the place the Owl House is and saw... and empty space, with just the foundation of a house that used to be here. Both of them stood in shock, wondering why and how the owl house was just GONE! Did it move? Or was it….
"W-w-what happened to the Owl House?" Phoenix asked.
"I don't know, it should be here. It's always been here." Fighter Luz said as she began looking around the area. "I don't know what happened in the last 4 or 5 years here but the house has to be okay!"
They heard a noise in the distance and hid in the woods. They were expecting Athena, but to their surprise... it was another Luz. She had a red, mechanical arm, was about 19 years old, had a sad look in her eyes. She fell to her knees and struggled to hold the tears in.
"Hey, Eda... it's me again." This Luz said, "Can you believe it? Two year anniversary, still seems like yesterday since I said I Do at the altar. I wish you could've been there... well... Amity, Boscha, and I are going out tonight for our anniversary."
"Anniversary?"
"Boscha and Amity?"
"I know what you must be thinking. 'Luz, every date you three have ends in disaster' and don't worry, we've come to love it." This Luz said, "Titan I really miss you. I miss you, Lilith, King, Hooty, Hunter... I'm sorry I couldn't save you."
'They all died? King, Hooty?' Fighter Luz thought, sad for this universe's Luz.
'Damn, I even feel bad for this Lilith.' Phoenix thought.
She placed her real arm on the ground and a bunch of flowers grew.
"I miss you." Luz said, "And I'll never forget you."
As she did, Fighter Luz and Phoenix slowly moved closer to the apparent grave. Another universe were Eda died, possibly because of Belos and his nefarious schemes. This Luz stood up and turned to leave... only to see a familiar woman.
"Hello." She said, making this Luz jump back in surprise.
"Hmm, you seem pretty easy to beat." Athena said.
"Who are you?" Luz asked.
"Your end." Athena said.
Luz couldn't help but smirk.
"You know, a lot of people have said that." Luz snapped her fingers and the Monado formed in her hand, "And each of them are in the ground."
She pointed the sword at Athena, as embers began to rise from Luz's hair and her irises turned red.
"Hmm? Well this is interesting. Another unique version of you, Luz." Athena said, looking at the unique sword and her hair change. "Especially with this strange blade."
"Thank you. Even after all these years, I'm happy the Monado still impressed people." Monado Luz replied, still smirking, "Now catch."
She threw the sword at Athena, who dodged it, only to be met by a wave of fire from Monado Luz's normal hand. She crashed into a tree, groaning a bit as she was smoking from the attack before slowly getting up.
"Impressive. But I've felt better." Athena said, summoning her axe.
"Oh you haven't seen anything yet." Monado Luz said, calling the Monado back to her hand.
She switched to the light glyph and her eyes turned yellow. With speed as fast as light, Monado Luz ran at her.
"I've seen super speed before!" Athena said, Preparing to swing her axe.
Athena swung her axe, while Luz swung the Monado, which made Athena's axe fly out of her hand.
"Not like mine!" Monado Luz said before she began hitting Athena from all sides, blitzing around her in a trail of light.
"Ugh! Rah!" Athena shouted, trying and failing to hit her with shadow blasts.
Monado Luz switched the Monado to fire.
"Time to turn up the heat!" She said.
She swung at Athena, unleashing a wave of fire that blasted her away while burning her shadows away!
"Aaaaah!" Athena shouted, stomping the ground to try and stay standing! "No!"
Monado Luz smirked and cracked her neck.
"Come on, surely you can do better than that."
Athena growled at her overconfidence before summoning a giant husk behind her.
"Let's see how you handle this!" Athena said, charging with her.
"Holy shit!" All three Luzs said in shock.
Monado held her sword up, getting ready battle this husk, when a giant hammer slammed down on it.
"You can't go five minutes without getting into a mess, can you?" Willow asked.
Turning to the voice, everyone saw an older version of Willow walking out of the woods and calling her hammer back to her hand.
"What can I say, I'm special." Monado Luz said.
"You called an ally?" Athena asked.
"No, she just came to check on me." Monado Luz said with a grin.
"She's got somewhat of a magnetic personality for friends and getting in trouble." Willow said with her hammer over her shoulders, "And judging from what I'm seeing, I'm guessing you're the Latter."
Athena was about to reply before she dodged another attack, a strange boomerang flying through the air before returning to the wielder!
"Shot! I missed." An adult Gus commented, catching his weapon.
"Aye, Gustopher, you decided to show up?" Monado Luz asked.
"What can I say, Skara is sick. I'm trying to be a good husband." Gus said
"Oof, been married for a week and she's already sick?" Willow asked.
"What can I say? We-" Gus dodged a shadow tendril. "HEY! It's rude to interrupt someone!"
"The dead don't need politeness!" Athena shouted, sending more shadow tendrils at the trio.
"Think we need to cut in?" Fighter Luz asked.
"Well, that would be rude to Athena... so yeah, let's fucking kill her." Phoenix said.
Sticking to the woods, Fighter Luz and Phoenix stuck towards Athena as she distracted herself with Monado Luz and her friends.
"You can't dodged forever!" Athena said, summoning husks and sending them at the trio.
Phoenix and Fighter Luz grabbed Athena's shoulders.
"And you can't fight forever." Fighter Luz said.
With the power glyph of Fighter Luz and natural strength of Phoenix, the two threw her into the tree line.
"What the fuck?!" Monado Luz, Willow, and Gus asked in surprise!
The Metal Legged Kickboxer and Unkillable Fire God walked towards Athena.
"Did we just see that or am I seeing things?" Willow asked.
"No, I think I saw it too." Gus said.
Monado Luz didn't answer as she rushed after them, wanting to get a closer look at her little doppelgängers.
"Luz!" Willow and Gus said.
This girl is married, a CEO, a master chef, and still her curiosity got the better of her. They rushed to follow her as the sounds of battle got louder with every step!
"Annoying pests!" Athena shouted following a blast sound.
"Shadow bitch!" Fighter Luz shouted following a BOOM!
Fighter Luz ran and slammed her leg at Athena, who moved. There was a crater where her foot landed. Phoenix flew in and span like a drill, crashing into Athena and burning her as Phoenix transformed into a cocoon of flames!
"Die!" Phoenix said.
"Ugh!" Athena grunted, concentrating her shadows to form around her even in the flaming cocoon! "YAAAAH!"
With a burst of power, Athena blasted Phoenix away and was left steaming as Fighter Luz appeared behind her.
"LIVER SHOT!" Fighter Luz shouted, punching Athena in her side with the power glyph!
Athena was launched.
"Guh!" Athena let out, some blood coming from her mouth!
'I think she burst my liver!' Athena thought, flying in the air.
"Ready to quit?" Fighter Luz asked.
Athena stopped herself and floated mid air, licking the blood from her lips as she used her magic to heal her ruptured liver.
"You're getting more blood thirsty, more wanting to kill me….GOOD." Athena said, looking at the two with glee.
She charged with her axe, only to be stopped by Monado Luz, who blocked the axe with her sword.
"I HAVE killed people before, so if you want to talk blood thirsty, then you can deal with me." Monado Luz said.
"You've killed?" Athena asked, interested.
"You've killed?" Fighter Luz and Phoenix said in surprise.
"A lot... and if it keeps the innocent safe, I'll do it again."
"Really? And if you happen to lose someone close to you? Would you still care for the innocent then?!" Athena shouted at her.
Monado Luz gripped the handle of the Monado harder. She did kill a lot of coven guards, most of whom were just following orders and didn't know better... she hates herself for that, but she has learned from that and will make sure it NEVER happens again.
"Are you going to shut up and fight, or are you just going to talk?" Monado Luz asked.
"With a fellow killer? Gladly!" Athena said with glee in her eyes.
She pushed her back and span her axe, slashing at Monado Luz as she blocked the attack! The Monado and Athena's Axe clashed, sparks coming off them. As Fighter Luz and Phoenix watched from the side, they didn't notice Gus and Willow approaching them from behind and watching the deadly duel as well. Willow held her hammer and Gus had his boomerang, both were ready to fight.
'The moment Luz needs help, we'll step in.' Willow and Gus thought.
Monado Luz and Athena continued their duel, slashing and clashing their weapons with great skill and technique built up from years of battle!
"Impressive, you truly are a warrior!" Athena said, dodging a slash as she ducked and span her axe over her back! "Perhaps we can exchange stories!"
"I rather not, thank you!" Monado Luz said, blocking a slash and jumped Athena.
Monado Luz swung her sword at the ground and created ice spikes that launched at Athena.
Athena counted with black fire, creating a layer of steam between them before a beam of light shot into the air! Monado Luz was on her sword like a surfboard, looking over the steam for Athena.
'Where is she?' She thought before a shadow spike shot at her! 'There!'
She sliced the shadow in half with the Monados light mode.
More of them came from the smoke before Monado Luz dodging and slashed multiple waves of light to the ground! Yet when the smoke cleared, Athena was nowhere to be seen.
'Where did she-' she thought before hearing something behind her!
'Gotcha!' Athena thought, swinging at Monado Luz.
Her axe nearly sliced her before Monado Luz turned and blocked it with her metal arm!
"Nice try." Monado Luz said.
"You think so, don't you?" Athena said before her shadows began creeping up the metal arm.
"Yes, I do." Monado Luz said before channeling fire magic into her arm to burn the shadows away, "Now, this place is important to me, so leave it... NOW!"
With another charge of fire magic, Monado Luz unleashed a blast of fire to knock them both away as the axe was knocked away with her metal arm in tow!
"Oh not again!" Monado Luz shouted.
"Again?" Phoenix and Fighter Luz asked in surprise.
"Again." Gus and Willow said to them.
"Okay, need to tell Boscha that this needs to get better latches."
Seeing Monado Luz without her metal arm, Athena chuckled nefariously before flying towards it and her axe!
"Don't worry, I can fix it up for you. But first, I need to know how it works." Athena said as she grabbed the arm and her axe. "I hope Boscha doesn't mind."
"She would and I do!" Monado Luz said, summoning her sword and charging towards Athena! "Give it back!"
Monado Luz threw the Monado at Athena. Athena smiled under her mask as she tilted her head to dodge the Monado before waving at her.
"Bye bye, Luz-er!" Athena said before sinking into a shadow portal, dodging the Monado as it tried to hit her from behind!
"FUCK!" Monado Luz shouted.
She reclaimed her sword and growled.
'Fuck, now I'm down one arm!' Monado Luz thought as she looked at her small stump 'Oh this is gonna be a big argument when I get home.'
"We can help you get it back. I promise." Phoenix said as she and Fighter Luz walked up to her.
"Maybe you can explain somethings as well." Monado Luz said, "This is not how I expected my wedding anniversary to go."
"LUZ!"
"Speaking of." Monado Luz said.
Two girls landed their staffs.
"Gus texted us about some armored woman!" One shouted.
"What happened to your arm?!" The other asked.
Fighter Luz and Phoenix gapped at the sight of the two women, not expecting at least one of them to be here and looked upset/worried at Monado Luz as they rushed to her.
"Mittens, Bo Bo-"
"Don't Mittens and Bo Bo us, Luz!" Boscha said, "We've been married long enough to know something happened!"
"And it had to have been something MAJOR if you had to fight near Eda, King, and Hooty's grave." Amity said, crossing her arms. "So talk, missy, or you'll be spending the night as a throw pillow on the couch."
"Jokes on you, I'm into that shit!" Monado Luz said.
As the trio of wives were arguing, Fighter Luz and Phoenix were still watching in silence as they began to process the relationship they could have in this universe.
'Mittens? Bo-Bo?' Phoenix thought.
'Oh my god, I'm married to Amity AND Boscha in this universe?!' Fighter Luz thought.
Boscha looked behind Monado Luz, noticing the two tiny versions of her.
"Uh, who are they?" Boscha asked.
"I don't know but why do they look so different than you, Luz? Are they an imperfect cloning spell?" Amity asked.
"We don't know but I think they're broken." Gus said, poking Phoenix before getting burned! "OUCH!"
"Yeah, maybe don't touch the Unkillable Fire God." Phoenix said, powering down.
"Okay…..and you are?" Willow asked, looking towards Fighter Luz.
"Just a normal human with small anger issues and magic manipulating gloves." Fighter Luz said.
"But we have bigger problems than who we are." Phoenix said, "Like the woman that just ran away from here."
"Who was she, anyway?" Monado Luz asked.
"Athena, dark magic, bad girl. Probably building something to conquer or destroy the multiverse and your arm might be a piece of it." Fighter Luz said, pointing to Monado Luz.
"Multiverse? The multiverse is real?" Monado Luz asked in surprise.
"I mean, you literally came to another dimension."
"Yeah but the multiverse is completely different." Monado Luz said.
"And we can try to explain it later but first, we need to find Athena and find other what else she could possibly want in this universe." Fighter Luz said to them.
"Oh, she's got some fire in her. I like it." Boscha said, crossing her arms.
"Yeah, great, turn her into a bed then." Monado Luz said.
"Nah, I only save that for my wives... and whoever pisses me off." Boscha said.
"Can you not corrupt your younger selves with your weird, transformation kinks?" Willow asked.
'Weird transformation kink?' Phoenix thought.
"I don't even want to know! Let's just get somewhere safe and plan our next move." Fighter Luz said.
"Okay, let's get to the Manor." Monado Luz said.
"Manor? So, you're rich in this universe." Fighter Luz said.
"That's an understatement." Willow and Gus said with smirks.
"We're don't only have inheritance from both the Triplet and Blight families, but we also run three successful businesses." Boscha said, "We are ten times richer than... well, who doesn't matter, just know we're the richest family on the Isles."
"But we don't let it go to our heads." Amity said, making that known.
"And you use that wealth wisely?" Phoenix asked.
"Of course. It'll be a cold day in hell when we act like that bitch, Odalia. May she rot in hell." Monado Luz said.
"She's dead in this world?" Fighter asked.
"Yep, severed her head myself." Monado Luz said.
"Really? Lucky!" Phoenix said.
"I thought she was better in your world?" Fighter said.
"Yeah, but I also threatened to burn her to ash and I'm the Emperor in my world." Phoenix said, "Sucking up to me is just as annoying as trying to kill me."
"Yikes." Fighter Luz said as they walked away from the grave site turned battlefield.
The gang pulled out their staffs and motioned for the two younger ones to get on.
"Take your pick, mes." Monado Luz said.
"Uh, I can fly, so Fighter, who do you feel safe with?" Phoenix asked.
"Well... not me." Fighter Luz said.
"Just because I only got one arm, doesn't mean I can't fly my staff." Monado Luz said, turning the Monado into a necklace before summoning a purple dragon palisman. "Say hello to Amethyst."
'A dragon palisman, huh? The last me that had a palisman had a bat.' Fighter Luz and Phoenix thought.
"I don't trust you to fly, because I am you and I know I would fly erratically." Fighter said.
"She has a point." Boscha said.
"You say that but Willow says I kill it in Flyer Derby." Monado Luz said.
"True but this is different." Willow said.
"Anyway, going to Amity, she's probably the best flyer in stability." Fighter Luz said, looking to the future alternate wife.
"Nice to know she's smart." Amity said.
"And what about me?" Boscha asked.
"Honestly? I don't know, I've never seen you fly a staff in my universe." Fighter Luz said, looking to the triclops.
Boscha crossed her arms in annoyance.
"Can I turn her into a chair?"
"What?" Fighter Luz asked.
"No." Amity and Monado Luz said.
"Well I am an excellent flyer. If I wanted, I could've gone for Flyer Derby too but I'm a Grudgby girl." Boscha said.
"We know, Boscha." Amity said, giving her a kiss on the cheek, "In fact, don't you remember the cheerleader outfit Luz and I wore during your game?"
"You mean the one that resulted in me getting distracted and getting four broken bones? The outfit my parents told Luz to never wear again the second we got home? The same outfit that afterwards resulted in me turning you and Luz into pillows so I could rest BOTH broken legs?"
"The same... what I'm saying is... you get distracted easily." Amity said.
"Luz, hold my glasses, we're about to become widows." Boscha said, taking her glasses off.
"Boscha, no. We are not killing our sweet mittens." Monado Luz said to her.
"Is this a normal lover's quarrel?" Phoenix asked Willow and Gus.
"They've been very stressed lately." Willow said, "They have been working incredibly hard the last several days and today is their anniversary. It was supposed to be a calm day."
"Until that Athena woman ruined it. I'd hate to be her after they make a plan." Gus said, watching as Monado Luz helped her wives calm down and make up.
"Okay, that's under control, Amity will just spend a week as Boscha's pants after this is over." Monado Luz said, "Now let's get going."
"I pray we don't end up like this universe in our futures." Fighter Luz whispered to Phoenix.
"Me too." Phoenix whispered before jumping in the air and began flying, "Now, lead the way."
The gang flew to the Throuple's manor. Lavish, big, and perfect for a fortress since they needed a stronghold right now.
"Nice place. Maybe I should have it built when I get home." Phoenix joked as they landed by the front.
"You literally have a castle." Fighter Luz said.
"This is where I've lived since… the incident." Monado Luz said.
"Since the owl house?" Fighter Luz asked.
"We don't talk about it." Boscha said to her.
"Or what happened afterwards." Amity said.
Sensing this was a sensitive and possibly dark subject, Fighter and Phoenix nodded to just let it go as they entered the mansion.
"Welcome to the Noceda-Triplet Manor!" Boscha said, "Where the only thing we changed is Luz and I now sleep with Amity in the Master Bedroom instead of my room after my parents gave us the manor."
"And all the servants too?" Fighter Luz asked.
"Not all of them. We mainly use special abomitrons but we do hire the old staff to house sit for us on vacations." Monado Luz said.
"Pay them twice as much when they were normally working here." Amity said.
"The Triplet Family has always been generous towards those that worked here." Boscha said, "We're not like the Blight Family, no offense Mittens, we actually value life."
"None taken." Amity said, "There's a reason we're the Noceda-Triplet family and not the Noceda-Triplet-Blight family."
"You dropped your last name just for us?" Phoenix asked in surprise.
"With how bad my mother was, yes. She stained my father's name." Amity said as she shut the doors. "But we can talk about that later, we need to talk about this Athena woman and you two seem to know the most about her."
"You could say that. We've been following her for…I don't know, days? Weeks? Multiverse travel makes it hard to keep time." Fighter Luz said, rolling her shoulders.
"Have either of you gotten any sleep since then?" Boscha asked them.
"That's not important right now." Phoenix said.
"... Is every Luz in the multiverse as stubborn as the one I'm married too?" Boscha asked.
"Hey, I'm not stubborn." The three Luzs said at the same time.
"Yes, yes they are." Willow said with a blank face.
"Do you guys wanna know about Athena or not? Because if not, we can just leave and let her do god knows what with your arm." Fighter Luz said as she pointed to Monado Luz.
"Yes, tell us." Boscha said, "That bitch left with my greatest creation, to do who knows what to it!"
"Probably use it with what she's already gathered. From what we can put together, we are key components in the multiverse. Each one of us as important as the last." Phoenix said.
"So she's dismantling the arm I spent months making for Luz!?" Boscha screamed.
"Possibly, yes." Fighter Luz said before counting off what Athena had already.
Boscha was fuming. She was too angry to listen about all the components Athena had taken across the multiverse as she was too focused on what said woman could be doing to her gift for Luz! Her greatest work outside of the weapons she made for the group!
'I spent months on that, weeks I stayed awake, drinking nothing but coffee just to finish it by Luz's birthday.'
"Boscha?" Amity asked, bringing her out of her thoughts.
"What?" Boscha asked.
"We're heading to the living room." Amity said, seeing she and the triclops were the only ones at the door now.
"Sorry." Boscha said, "I just really hate how Luz's arm is getting destroyed, I spent months on it."
Amity gave Boscha a nice peck on the lips.
"I know, but getting angry won't help." Amity said.
"How else am I suppose to feel? I was going to get Luz that spell finger she asked for with a training wand core. Now it's ruined." Boscha muttered as they walked to the den.
"We'll get the arm back and you can put it in then. This Athena can't hide forever." Amity said.
"Come on, let's go." Amity said, "We can't just let them have all the fun."
Boscha nodded as they entered the den, seeing Monado Luz talking with her alternate selves while writing notes on Athena.
"So basically, she's even worse than Belos." Monado Luz said.
"Yeah but don't compare her to Belos. She HATES that." Fighter Luz said.
"Even though she became like that because of her Belos, she still thinks she's nothing like him." Phoenix added.
"The more we learn about her, the more I wonder who she is?" Fighter Luz said, "I mean, I doubt anyone has more enemies than Belos, so it doesn't narrow it down."
"She's said that she lost everything." Phoenix said, "What if it's the Amity of her world?"
"An Amity that is fine with trying to kill us? I doubt it." Fighter Luz said.
"Yeah. Amity grew out of that phase thanks to us, so she's off the table." Monado Luz said.
"How about Boscha then? In some universes, she might still be a bitch." Fighter Luz said before noticing this universe's Boscha and Amity. "No offense."
"None taken, I was a TOTAL bitch." Boscha said with a nod.
"If it was Boscha, then she would have a third eye hole on her helmet. Or maybe she lost it and is covering it?" Phoenix said, rubbing her chin.
"What about Lilith?" Fighter Luz asked, "She seems to miss Eda a lot in Avatar Luz's dimension."
"I doubt it." Phoenix said, "Even if I hate her, Lilith is far stronger than the black magic Athena uses."
"What about another Luz?" Amity asked.
"No, Athena said she killed her worlds Luz."
"She even killed the Camila of her world too, used her skeleton as a puppet once." Fighter Luz said, shaking her head.
"Okay, now I REALLY want to find." Monado Luz said with a glare, "I haven't spoken to my mom since my wedding two years ago, but I would still never do something like that."
"That's why Athena is a monster, she doesn't care about anything or anyone. She just wants to complete whatever sinister goal she wants to accomplish." Phoenix said with her eyes flashing with fire. "We can't let that happen."
"Then we first need to find out where she is." Boscha said, "Luckily, I put in something in Luz's arm that no one else knows of."
Boscha presses a button on some small screen and a blinking dot pops up.
"Wait, you put a tracker in me!?" Monado Luz asked.
"Yeah, you ran to the knee by yourself, you ran away and was presumed dead for months, and you were trapped in a prison cell and on the brink of death!" Boscha said, "And those were all happened in less than half a year!"
"That last wasn't my fault! Belos got the jump on me!" Monado Luz complained.
"AFTER you ran away!" Boscha shouted.
"AFTER you two dumped me and Willow and Gus left me!" Monado Luz shouted, crossing her arm.
Amity put her hands on both their mouths and covered them with Abomination goo.
"You two... are fucking children." Amity said
Monado Luz and Boscha mumbled through the goo as Phoenix and Fighter Luz just watched it happen.
"I hope this doesn't become us in the future." Fighter Luz whispered.
"Ditto." Phoenix whispered back.
"Now, Boscha, keep tracking Luz's arm."
"Mmmm!" Boscha said, glaring at her wife before going back to the screen to find the exact location Athena and Monado Luz's arm was.
It... was the one place Luz never wanted to return to... the Conformitorium.
'Oh fuck.' Boscha thought, slapping her hand over her face as everyone looked at the screen.
"Of course it's a prison. Who searches for a mad woman in a mad house?" Phoenix commented.
"That place was shut down after Belos was defeated, there's a new prison in another part of the Bonesborough where criminals are reformed, no one has been there in five years." Amity said.
"Now that we know where she is, we need to come up with a plan because she's probably has husks patrolling the place." Fighter Luz said.
"Well, nothing beats a shadow like light." Amity said, "And if there's anyone that can use light, it's the girl named after it."
"That's such a corny joke." Phoenix said to her.
"And there's three of us here named after "light" you know." Fighter Luz said, gesturing to herself, Phoenix, and Monado Luz.
"I was trying to be romantic to my wife." Amity said.
Monado Luz nuzzled Amity, showing that she loved the romantic gesture. Corny or not, she still loved it.
"Thank you, Luz." Amity said before undoing the goo over her mouth.
"Anything for you, my batata." Monado Luz said.
Boscha was on the couch, flipping them off.
"Hey, put those fingers down before I shove them up your-"
And the goo went back over Monado Luz's mouth.
"There are children here!" Amity said.
"Teenagers. And trust me, we've both seen and heard worse." Fighter Luz said, crossing her arms. "Hell, half the time I've cursed worse."
"I still don't want them to swear in the house, we might have kids one day!" Amity said.
'KIDS?!' Monado Luz and Boscha thought in shock.
"We are adults, we are rich, we are married, are you that surprised that I want kids!?" Amity asked seeing their shocked looks.
"MMM!" Monado Luz and Boscha muffled out.
Amity rolled her eyes and snapped her fingers, removing the goo from their mouths.
"YOU WANT KIDS?!" They shouted.
"Why didn't you tell us sooner?!" Monado Luz shouted.
"We could've talked about this a lot sooner!" Boscha shouted.
"When would we have had time to talk!?" Amity asked, "We are always busy, always working!"
"And that will change!" Monado Luz said, "Because as soon as this is over, we're all taking a month off work and heading to Palm Stings."
"What?" Amity and Boscha asked.
"I... was saving this for tonight." Monado Luz said, "I made the reservation at the Titan Blessed Hotel, the best suite, the best location... nothing too good for my girls. I figured, we're CEO's, we can take a month to ourselves and enjoy each other's company."
Boscha held Monado Luz's hand and gave her a big kiss on the lips.
"You're so sweet." Boscha said.
"I know." Monado Luz said with a smile before Amity tackled her with a hug.
"I love you so much right now." Amity said before kissing her multiple times.
"You can tell me just how much after we stop the crazy woman, because we get to start our vacation then." Monado Luz said, "Think about it, the three of us, the beach... the bikinis."
Boscha smirked.
"Oh please, we're hanging out at the nude section of the beach!"
"Oh that's even better!" Monado Luz said with a large grin.
'Oh Titan, I grow up to be a pervert.' Fighter and Phoenix thought, seeing how wide the grin is.
Amity turned red.
"It's like our honeymoon all over again."
After the two young Luzs were embarrassed and blushing from how their older alternate was acting, the enemy they were supposed to be planning against as making herself at home in the old Conformatorium as she was looking through an old weapons vault.
"So many toys and so little time. I should just take all of you with me and see what kind of carnage I could cause." Athena said, dragging her finger against a jagged sword. "I almost don't want to go back to work, almost. Now, how to rip this to shreds and get the power source?" She asked holding up the arm.
Athena made her way towards the dungeon of the prison, the best place with several useful instruments for her goal, and set the arm down on a table.
"Now, let's see what makes you tick."
She grabbed a rusty hacksaw, bringing it to the arm and slowly trying to cut it open. Outside the old prison, Fighter Luz, Phoenix, and Monado Luz and her gang of wives and friends looked at the old place.
"Takes you back, doesn't it?" Willow asked.
"Yeah... haven't been back here in about five years." Gus said.
"The last time we were here it was the jailbreak of the century. Minus the breaking out part." Boscha said.
"We didn't even come here for it, we went to the castle and got captured." Amity said.
"Yeah, I remember, we were almost petrified." Boscha said.
"Think my arm is still on one of those cells?" Monado Luz asked
"Your what? YOU cut off your own arm to escape?" Fighter Luz asked in shock.
"Yep. But I need a good kick in the ass to get out of my own head to pull it off." Monado Luz said.
"You should've seen it." Boscha said, "Bloodthirsty Luz is sexy."
"Boscha, we can do this later, we're on a mission."
"Good god, you are simps!" Phoenix shouted at the trio.
"Are we really that head over heels for Amity and BOSCHA in some universes?" Fighter Luz muttered, shaking her head.
"Head over heels? This girl was SO FUCKING BLIND to their crushes on her that she literally thought they were in love with each other and thought they were pushing it onto her because they were too embarrassed to confess!" Willow said.
"She handed me her glasses and said, 'You need these more than I do'." Monado Luz said.
"Oh god, you're a stupid simp." Fighter Luz said.
"Hey! I'm a future you so you're insulting yourself." Monado Luz said to her.
"Except I don't like Boscha." Fighter Luz said.
"Well, maybe spending some alone time with her will change that."
"Yeah…HELL no." Fighter Luz said as she walked forward the prison, "Let's get this over with and take down this bitch."
"I'm not that bad to be around, am I?" Boscha asked.
Amity wrapped her arms around Boscha's waist and put her head on her shoulder.
"No, you're amazing to be around Bo Bo."
"And you're involve with someone else in my universe." Phoenix said.
"Mine too but you're a good friend." Fighter Luz said as Boscha felt a bit better now.
They headed into the run down prison. Quickly arming themselves, they all (except Fighter Luz and Phoenix) transformed the special jewelry they were wearing into unique weapons. Willow had a Green and brown war hammer, Gus had a large blue green metal boomerang, Boscha had two red and yellow swords shaped like dragon wings, and Amity had a large purple sword.
"Ready?" Monado Luz asked.
"Ready." Everyone said as Monado Luz pulled off had necklace and changed it to the Monado.
"Then let's find her." She said.
Monado Luz kicked the door open and inside was... empty cells and cobwebs. Phoenix and Fighter Luz knew much better than to think this place was empty, they created a large ball of fire/light to help everyone see better.
"I don't like this." Phoenix said, "Why leave this place empty?"
"Probably so that no one knows she's here." Fighter said, "Without that tracker we wouldn't even know if she was here."
"Speaking off, I'm getting the arm's signal." Boscha said as she looked at her scroll. "About a level or two down."
"With probably an army of those husks things in between." Monado Luz said.
"Well, when has impossible odds ever stopped us?" Amity asked.
"Before or after I cut off my own arm?" Monado Luz asked.
"Both." Willow and Gus said.
The group barley had time to chuckle before they heard something, a strange growl coming from the darkness.
"Oh shit." Phoenix and Fighter Luz said, recognizing that growl.
'Please, nobody look up.' They thought, having a gut feeling and seeing this many times in movies.
Monado Luz snapped her fingers and small ball of light formed. The orb floated up to the ceiling as it was brighter then the others, showing that HUNDREDS of husks were crawling around on the ceiling and walls!
"ROOOOOAH!" They all screamed at the group.
Monado Luz smiled and she held her sword.
"This will be fun." She said.
"No it won't." Fighter and Phoenix said.
"ROOOOAH!" All the husks roared as they jumped off the ceiling/walls towards the group.
"Willow, Gus!"
"On it!" Willow said, slamming her hammer on the ground, and creating a barrier of vines.
Gus ran up and threw his boomerang, freezing the barrier.
"You guys go ahead, we'll hold them off!" Gus said.
"You sure? These things are tough." Fighter Luz said.
"Do you know who you're talking to?" Willow asked, smirking as her eyes flashed green.
"We got this." Gus said, his left eye glowing blue.
"It's true, they got this." Monado Luz said, "We got to go."
Leading the way, Boscha, Amity, and Monado rushed to the exit as Fighter and Phoenix lagged behind for a moment before catching up.
'They can do it, they're strong.' They thought, reminded of their own friends in their dimensions.
Monado Luz used her sword and cut the door in two.
"Lead the way, Bo-Bo!" She said as Boscha rushed forward.
"Gladly." Boscha said as the Husks began to break through.
"Ready, Gus?" Willow said, dropping her hammer tightly.
"Always." Gus said with a chuckle.
"Then let's make sure these things don't follow the others."
A pair of Husks broke through and jumped at the duo, but Willow easily smashed them into the ground into nothing! Gus threw his boomerang and froze one, letting Willow run at it and shatter it with her hammer.
The more husks that broke through, the more we're killed easily by the two witches.
"Ready to go on the attack?" Willow asked.
"Oh yes, daddy wants to cut loose." Gus said with a grin.
As they kept the Husks off, the rest made it down to the bottom level, where the darkest cells were.
"The arm is here, the signal is getting stronger." Boscha said, looking at the tracker screen.
"The closer we get, the more dangerous it will be." Phoenix said.
"And the harder Athena is gonna try to keep us away from her project. I don't know what she wants from your arm but we need to stop her from taking it. Fast." Fighter Luz said to Monado Luz.
"Then let's hurry." Amity said, igniting her sword in magenta flames.
She launched fire down the hall.
'Let's see if any of those husks are down this way.' Amity thought as the flames light the hallway.
There were, lots of them.
On the walls, ceiling, and some inside of the abandoned cells!
"Guess we're still fighting after all!" Boscha said, spinning her swords.
"Yep. So get ready!" Fighter Luz said, igniting her glyph gloves.
Amity held her sword up and smirked.
"This is gonna be fun." She said, eager to kill these beasts.
"Yeah, but it will waste time!" Monado Luz said.
"Then you three go ahead, we got this." Boscha said.
"No, there's safety in numbers!" Phoenix said to her.
"Trust us... it'll take more than this to beat us." Amity said.
"Now get your lookalike asses moving before I kick them into gear!" Boscha shouted, igniting her swords in orange flames.
"I speak from experience, I married them, you want to listen." Monado Luz said, "Come on!"
Before the two young Luzs could argue, the husk horde charged at them before Amity and Boscha rushed to them!
"Die, freaks!" They shouted, slashing together and unleashing a giant stream of flames at the shadow creatures.
Nearly all of them are burned to ash as more came rushing to them. Monado Luz grabbed Fighter and Phoenix and pulled them deeper into the prison. The two wives smirked before they continued fighting the beasts, burning them more and more.
"Have I ever mentioned that you're hot when you're blood thirsty?" Boscha asked.
"No... keep doing it." Amity said.
"Seeing you burn these fucking things is hotter than our fire swords!" Boscha shouted, blocking a husk and stabbing it through!
As they went against the Husks, the three Luz's ran deeper into the prison.
"You can put us down now!" Phoenix said to Monado Luz.
"And do you even know where you're going?" Fighter Luz asked.
"I was imprisoned and tortured here for around 4 months, of course I know where I'm going." Monado Luz said.
"…Again, I question your sanity!" Fighter Luz said as she forced herself off so she could run next to Monado Luz.
"If you've seen my life, you'd be questioning more than that." Monado Luz said.
"The same could be said of me. I'm a freaking god!" Phoenix said as she slipped out of Monado Luz's arm and flew on her own.
The three ran fast to the next door and down the final stairs. They saw the door, surrounded by more Husks.
'Athena's stronghold. And the place where she's tinkering with the arm.' They all thought.
"Ready to rush them?" Monado Luz suggested.
"That's too direct. We need to distract them before confronting Athena." Phoenix Luz whispered.
"Listen... you two distract them... I'll handle this woman." Monado Luz said.
"Are you crazy!?"
"Jury's out on that one." Monado Luz said, "Just trust me, I know what I'm doing."
"And trust us, Athena isn't someone you should underestimate." Phoenix said to Monado Luz.
"Just... listen to me." Monado Luz said, "I know what to do."
Before they could reply, Monado Luz rushed out from the corner forwards the husk with her sword in plant mode! She swung it, and cleared a path, holding them back with the vines.
"Guess we're doing this!" Fighter Luz shouted, creating ice swords and rushing in.
"Yep! Let's hope she knows what she's doing!" Phoenix said as her arm and hair flames turned blue!
Monado Luz closed the door behind her.
"Athena." Monado Luz said.
Athena was looking at her axe, with almost no recognition the someone was in the room.
"Did you know, that darkness spreads like fire in dry brush... fast, without warning, and it's deadly." Athena said, "I learned that the day I watched Eda get petrified."
"That must've been hard." Monado Luz said, "I know the feeling, I held her charred corpse in my arms, as everything around me burned to ash."
Athena scoffed.
"You think you've understood pain because you've lost one person?" Athena asked, "I've lost more than that, I lost my mentor, my friends, my family, the love of my life... my own home... all because Belos united the two realms! The day the Boiling Isles touched the Human Realm, mass panic happened and I was powerless to stop it!"
"I do know what it's like to feel powerless!" Monado Luz said, "I was powerless to save Lilith, I was powerless to save Hooty... King, Hunter... Eda... I was powerless to save them... I almost ended up on the path you did too, darkness plagued my heart, but I never fully gave in."
"You will when I beat you, then I'll use your weak body as a tool of darkness!" Athena said, running at Monado Luz.
Monado Luz quickly used plant magic and made a plant arm and grabbed the Monado with both hands.
"You can try but I can guarantee you'll fail." Monado Luz said, glaring at Athena.
Athena swung her axe, which Monado Luz blocked with the Monado. Athena pulled back and tried to hit Monado Luz again. The two weapons clashed about them multiple times as Athena and Monado Luz continued their clash of physical strength.
"Where is my arm?" Monado Luz asked.
"Oh, you won't be getting that back, I got what I need, but I had to destroy the entire thing to get it." Athena said, thrusting her axe handle into Monado Luz's stomach.
"Guh!" Monado Luz grunted before kneeing the axe away and Spartan kicking Athena in the chest
Athena twisted her body in air and used her axe to stop herself. She stood up and ran at Monado Luz, swinging her axe. Monado Luz dodged it, and then dodged another swing. Athena used the sharp tip at the end of the axe's handle like a spear and tried to impale Monado Luz. Monado Luz sidestepped it, and grabbed the axe. She jumped up and delivered a strong kick to Athena's head, making her let go of the axe and fall to the ground.
"You're sick, but I can help you, I know what it's like to be overtaken by inner darkness." Monado Luz said.
"You can't know what it's like, you haven't suffered like me!" Athena said, running at Monado Luz.
Monado Luz spun the axe in her normal hand, and the Monado in her plant hand. She ran at Athena, swinging the axe, making Athena dodge, only for Monado Luz to do a full rotation and strike her with the Monado.
"GUH!" Athena grunted, stumbling back from the blunt attack. "Not going for the kill. Weakling."
"It takes real strength not to kill." Monado Luz said, charging as she swung the Monado to hit Atehan's blocking away before tripping her with the axe.
Monado Luz used the axe handle and pressed it into Athena's chest, trying to keep her from moving.
"Yield. We can end this peacefully and get you help." Monado Luz said.
"Help? You think you can HELP me?!" Athena asked, creating shadow tendrils.
Monado Luz jumped back and blocked/slashed away every shadow tendril that came at her as Athena got back in her feet. Athena sent more tendrils at her.
"You think you know me but you don't know anything about me!" Athena shouted, standing up on her feet!
Monado Luz spun, using the sword and axe to cut the tendrils.
"I know you're in pain! A pain you think nobody could soothe!" Monado Luz said, switching the light mode and slashing light waves at the tendrils!
"You don't know pain!" Athena said, sending a tendril and hitting Monado Luz in the head, "How about you see your greatest mistakes and see if you can handle pain!"
The tendril made Monado Luz see her greatest mistakes, and there were a lot of them. She was in some... broken down building... a familiar building... the Owl House.
"An illusion?" Monado Luz said, looking around the house. "It's exactly as I remember it."
Monado Luz looked around, and saw a charred figure standing in the door frame.
"Eda?"
"Why Luz? Why did you do it?" 'Eda' asked.
"Do what?" Monado Luz asked.
"Why did you let me die?" Eda asked, "After everything I did for you, you let me die... I treated you like family, and this is what happened!"
"I don't let you die, I tried my best to save you but I wasn't fast enough." Monado Luz said, being calm as she shut her eyes.
She felt a pair of hands on her shoulders.
"Unfortunately, I was."
Monado Luz turned around and saw Lilith, with an arrow sticking through her head and cold, lifeless, black eyes.
"I was fast enough to push you out of the way... but not fast enough to realize that I should've let you die." Lilith said.
"That's not true, Lilith." Monado Luz said, putting her hands in Lilith's arms. "You rushed to save me because you cared about me, just like Eda did. I just wished I could've been better so you didn't have to."
"You're a failure." Another voice said.
Monado Luz looked and saw another burnt body.
"King?"
"You're a failure as a witch, a failure as a hero, and a failure as a friend!" King shouted at her, glaring at her as blood tears ran down his eyes.
Monado Luz separated from Lilith, walking over to King before kneeling down and hugging him.
"I know and I'm sorry, to all of you. I failed you all and I have to live with that failure." She said, pulling back and wiping King's blood tears away. "But I never let that failure stop me or define me."
A charred Owl Tube wrapped around her.
"You should've died." Hooty said.
"….I know." Monado Luz said, hugging the charred owl tube with a sad smile. "Every day, I wished I had died instead of any of you. Wishing that you would all still be here and breathing even if it meant I wouldn't be with you."
Even after hearing all their words and seeing their horrific deaths again, Monado Luz couldn't help but smile and embrace them. As if she was happy to see them again!
"Why?" A voice said.
Monado Luz looked up, seeing Athena standing in the den with a furious look in her eye as she shook in anger.
"Why what?" Monado Luz asked.
"Why aren't you begging for forgiveness!?" Athena demanded, "These are your greatest mistakes, the people you couldn't save, they-"
"I have come to terms with it." Monado Luz said, "I spent years thinking about how things could be different, but it won't matter, because no matter how hard I try, I can't change the past. Like I told you, I've been through pain, and I've conquered my demons."
"Nobody can conquer their demons!" Athena shouted, refusing to believe it.
"Yes they can." Monado Luz said, standing up and moving away from her lost loved ones.
Monado Luz extended her real arm.
"I can help you conquer yours."
"…..Get that away from me." Athena said softly, looking down.
"Athena, please. I want to help you." Monado Luz said.
"Shut up." Athena muttered, clenching her hands.
"Let me help you." Monado Luz said.
Athena summoned her axe and swung at Monado Luz.
"You don't know me! You can't help me!" Athena said, "You're nothing like me! You can't understand!"
The blade stopped before Monado Luz's neck, but she wasn't afraid as she kept the kind expression in her face.
"Then help me understand." Monado Luz said to her.
Athena's arms shook, she actually didn't know what to do.
'I am suppose to be feared! I am supposed to be a master of dark magic! So why is she not afraid of me?!' Athena thought, seeing no fear in Monado Luz's eyes.
Just kindness, understanding, and a desire to help her….WHY?! It enraged Athena.
"Stay away from me or I'll kill you!" Athena shouted, holding the axe closer.
"Will you?" Monado Luz asked, "Tell me, why did you let your darkness consume you?"
"Darkness runs through my veins, I am pure evil!" Athena shouted, "Darkness will control everything."
Athena swung her axe, only for Monado Luz to put up her sword and block it.
"Not as long as there is light." Monado Luz said.
The sword switched to light mode and shined brightly, destroying Athena's illusion and bringing them back into the abandoned prison. Athena stepped away from Monado Luz.
"Y-y-you can't!" Athena said, "You can't defeat inner darkness!"
"I know... but you can accept it, by remembering what you have left." Monado Luz said, "You can as well."
"I HAVE NOTHING LEFT!" Athena shouted, "BRINGING THE TITAN TO THE HUMAN REALM LEAD TO THE DESTRUCTION OF EVERYTHING I EVER LOVED AND CARED ABOUT!"
Monado Luz held out her hand.
"Then let me help you find something left." She said.
Athena growled and clenched her axe. She shook her head and opened a portal, she already has what she needs. She looked at Monado Luz one last time.
"There is no helping me."
"I refuse to believe that."
Athena went through the portal. Once she was gone, every husk inside of the abandoned prison vanished into thin air. Alive or dead. She stood in the room, thinking to herself when the others came in.
"Luz!" Amity and Boscha yelled, "Are you okay!?"
"Did she get away?" Phoenix asked, already knowing the answer.
"She did… I tried to reach her." Monado Luz said.
"Well that's impossible, she's pure evil." Fighter Luz said.
"No, she's not, she's a person that had to watch as everyone and everything she ever loved was destroyed in front of her, that is enough to make anyone do horrible things." She said, "I of all people would know that."
"Don't. Just because you can sort of understand her, doesn't mean you could've helped her. She made her choices and she doesn't feel any guilt in making everyone feel as broken as she is." Phoenix said, crossing her arms.
"And neither did I." Monado Luz said, "I went on a killing spree, anyone so much as saying Belos name I would kill, and I didn't care about them, I was glad that I did it... it wasn't until I had my head pulled out of my ass that I finally understood what I had done... she didn't have that."
"Like what?" Fighter Luz asked.
"Friends that care about her enough to fight her to stop." Willow commented.
"Also stab her to force her into submission." Gus quickly said.
"Gus, shut up." Amity said, not needing to remember SHE did that.
"Still have the scar." Monado Luz said, lifting her shirt, showing off the long scar on her stomach, "Getting stabbed sucks... but still..."
'It wasn't just them.' She thought, remembering the conversation with the ghosts of her loved ones.
"Whatever, we need to go." Phoenix said, "We can't let her get that far."
"I know." Fighter said, as they summoned their suits and opened a portal. They went through the portal, onto the next dimension.
