Future Luz

Summary: This Luz is many things. A mother, a wife, a billionaire, sorta president. Don't ask her, she didn't even know there was an election. She's also a person that has been worried, scared, and afraid, like when her daughter went missing for almost a full year. She promised that she would fight to the death to make sure no one ever messes with her family again.

Inside of the dimensional worm hole, Athena was flying towards the next universe. Phoenix and Fighter were closing in on her as their multiverse travel suits protected them!
"Throw me at her!" Fighter Luz screamed.
Phoenix did so, and Fighter slammed into Athena, knocking her off course. Phoenix saw this and flew towards them.
"Fighter!" Phoenix said.
Dimension M-27:
The trio ended up in this dimension, and Athena was angry.
"You aggravating bastards!" Athena said, "Do you have any idea what you've done!?"
"Yeah, we're trying to kill you." Phoenix said.
"You knocked me off course! It will take hours for me to gather the strength to open another portal!" Athena said, holding her axe, "This will be the last mistake you ever make!"
Fighter held out her hand and pressed a glyph... only for nothing to happen.
"Oh come on! Another magicless-" Fighter Luz leaned back to dodge an axe swing!
"Good! You'll die easier!" Athena shouted, continuing to swing as Fighter Luz kept dodging and jumping back!
Phoenix flew at her, but Athena had her axe prepared and slammed it into her. Phoenix was stuck on the blade and thrown into Fighter. The two were knocked to the ground and Athena walked up to them.
"I'm going to enjoy this!" Athena said raising the axe.
She tried to slam the axe down, but there was a lot of resistance. She looked up and saw vines wrapped around the blade. She looked behind her and saw a girl with dark skin, brown hair, and glasses. She wore a Hexside uniform, with her right arm being covered in the blue healing track color, her left arm being in the green plant track color, her right leg in the yellow potion track color, and her left leg in the orange Beast Keeping track color. Phoenix and Fighter recognized her immediately.
'Cat?' They thought.
Cat pulled back and took the axe from Athena. She then pulled out two pieces of paper with a fire glyph on them.
'Glyphs?' Fighter thought, 'But... why didn't mine work?'
Cat slammed them together and created a lightning bolt.
"A lightning bolt?!" Fighter Luz and Phoenix said in surprise.
"Well this is interesting." Athena said with wide eyes as Cat aimed at her.
Cat threw the lightning bolt, and Athena dodged.
'Too bad, so-'
CRACK!
The lightning bolt exploded behind her, unleashing an electrical field that shocked Athena greatly!
"Against what most people think, lightning always comes before the cracking of thunder." Cat said, smiling as she pushed her glasses up.
Athena growled and charged Cat. Cat held her arm out and summoned a pug palisman.
"Puggle, Es hora de patear el." Cat said, before grabbing her staff with both hands.
"Ruff!" Puggle barked as his eyes glowed with magic.
She slammed the staff down and large vines erupted from the ground.
Athena summoned her axe and sliced through the approaching vines. Allowing Cat to teleport right behind her.
"Perra sorpresa." Cat said.
Cat made a spell circle and put her hand through it, using a beast keeping spell to turn her nails into claws. She sliced at Athena, scratching the back of her armor.
'Multiple types of magic? But I thought she was only a healer!' Fighter Luz thought in shock.
'This is definitely NOT the Cat we know.' Phoenix thought.
Athena tried to swing at Cat, who easily dodged.
"Stay still girl!" Athena said.
"Nah, I'm a Noceda, we have a knack, for being difficult." Cat said.
"Noceda?" Athena asked.
"Noceda?!" Fighter and Phoenix shouted in shock.
Cat just smiled and held her staff.
"Now, how about you just get on your knees before my moms show up?" Cat said.
"Mom?" The trio asked again as Cat slammed her staff on the ground.
A bright flash formed, blinding Athena. Cat used the chance and pulled out several ice glyphs.
She flew around Athena, activating each glyph and making ice blast at her and encasing her in a giant orb of cold!
"That should take care of her for a bit." Cat said.
The two Luzs turned to Catrina "Cat" NOCEDA in shock, wondering how and why she is suddenly related to them in this universe compared to the others.
"So, maybe you two can tell me-"
Cat was cut off as Athena broke out and swung her axe, cutting Cat's back and sending her to the ground. Cat felt immense pain and blood rush down her back. Phoenix and Fighter rushed to get between Cat and Athena.
"Move." Athena said.
"Bite me." Phoenix said.
"Fine." Athena said, raising her axe.
Before she could do anything she was blasted by pink fire. Athena turned and saw a grown up Amity, with black and gold eyes like an abomination.
"What did you do to Catrina?!" Amity demanded.
"A scratch compared to what else I plan to do!" Athena shouted.
Amity's arm changed, becoming purple and sharp.
"I will make you pay for even touching my daughter." Amity said, lunging her blade arm at Athena.
Fighter Luz and Phoenix rushed to check on Cat, the latter quickly using the healing part of her flames to treat Cat's wounds.
"There is... so many things I am confused by." Phoenix said.
"Yeah, no kidding." Fighter said.
"How is she related to us even when she's a witch?" Phoenix asked.
"And Amity is her mom? HOW?!" Fighter said as she turned to the fight between Athena and an adult Amity.
Amity slowly became more of an abomination, while Athena swung her axe at her.
The axe just went through her body, making Amity smirk as she hardened to make Athena unable to pull it out!
"Gotcha!" Amity said, growing multiple tendrils with fists on her back! "This is for hurting my baby."
She unleashed on Athena.
'Fuck!' Athena thought as she was hit with a barrage of purple fists from every direction.
Thankfully, she had something from another dimension, a weapon specifically for this kind of situation. She pulled out a sphere and threw it at Amity, making her melt into abomination goo.
"N-n-no!" Cat said, struggling with pain, "Mom!"
Athena turned back to Cat and the duo, her axe raised.
"Time to end this."
She swung her axe... but it was stopped. Athena looked up and saw a woman that was very... furry.
"I don't know what you just did to my wife, but that, along with my baby girl bleeding on the ground from an axe cut, makes me very angry." This world's Luz said, "And you wouldn't like me when I'm angry."
Using the fist, with fingers made of bone, she punched Athena in the chest and sent her flying backwards.
"AAAAAAAH!" Athena screamed, crashing through several trees.
"Whoa!" Phoenix and Fighter said in surprise.
"Mami!" Cat said happily, despite her injuries.
This Luz came over to Cat and held her.
"It's okay, Catrina, mommy is here." She said to her daughter.
"Um…why are we a furry?" Fighter asked Phoenix, starring at this "Furry" Luz.
"I have no idea." Phoenix said.
'But her magic power, it's very high and very strong.' She thought.
This version of Luz made a black (?) spell circle and Cat's back healed itself. She then looked at the puddle that was her wife. She put her hand out and began using Amity, forming a sword with her.
"There you go, honey. All back together." "Furry" Luz said with a smile.
"Thank you but I think I'll be able to get back to normal in a few hours." Amity said, her mouth near the cross guard.
"Well, I'm going to need you for a few minutes to take care of this bitch." Furry Luz said, waiting for Athena to return.
"I am about to FUCK someone up!" Athena shouted, reclaiming her axe and summoning a horde of husks!
"You hear this woman, Sweet Potato?" Furry Luz asked.
"She does seem a bit delusional." Amity said.
"I'll show you delusional!" Athena shouted, rushing at them!
Furry Luz chuckled as she held Amity at the ready. Athena swung her axe down, but Amity held strong.
"En Garde!" Furry Luz said with a smirk.
"Grrr!" Athena said as two husks jumped at them.
"Mami, look out!" Cat shouted before Phoenix and Fighter rushed past her.
They both jumped and kicked/blasted the husks away.
"I'm getting really tired of this." Phoenix said.
"No shit!" Fighter Luz said.
Furry Luz looked at the two masked people in confusion, until Amity spoke.
"Luz, watch out!"
She barely got Amity up in time to block.
'I am so confused today!' Furry Luz said as she kept clashing with Athena.
"How are you like this?! It should be impossible!" Athena shouted in shock.
"I'll never tell!" Furry Luz said.
Furry Luz put all her strength into this and used Amity to push Athena back.
"Is that all you got?" Furry Luz asked, quickly drawing a black spell circle and firing a giant lightning ball.
"No!" Athena shouted, conjuring a large ball of shadow magic and firing it.
The two attacks were launched, both hit and created a large shockwave, which made Furry Luz slide back, dropping Amity, who penetrated the dirt right next to Cat. Furry Luz waited for the smoke to clear and saw... that she was gone.
"Damn." Furry Luz looked over at Cat, "Mija, are you okay?"
Cat groaned a bit, before standing and pulling Amity from the ground.
"I... think so." She said.
"That's good, now can you explain to us why you were out here fighting that strange woman?" Amity asked.
"Actually, I think that's where we come in." Phoenix said as she and Fighter walked up to the family. "But we'll need some answers too."
The two retracted their suits, revealing themselves.
"Wait… why do you two look like Mami?" Cat asked, putting Amity in the sword loop attached to her belt, "Only younger."
"And one of you has flaming hair." Furry Luz said as she looked them over. "Not that it isn't cool but it's still confusing."
"Well that's what the multiverse is. It's full of crazy ass probabilities." Fighter Luz said, crossing her arms. "Like you, Ms. Furry."
"Furry" Luz rolled her eyes before she snapped her fingers and returned to normal.
"It's a temporary thing I can do." She said.
"How about this girl being your daughter?" Phoenix said, "Because in our dimensions she doesn't have a single drop of Noceda blood."
"Well in ours, she does. It's like you said, the multiverse is full of crazy probabilities. So this Cat being our future daughter in this one IS possible." Furry/Future Luz said, pointing to abomination sword Amity on Cat's hip.
"Yeah, I would know, I was pregnant with her for nine months." Amity said.
"But in our universes, she is our classmate!" Phoenix said.
"Time travel accident. I was sent back in time and had to pose as a normal witch girl to not destroy the timeline." Cat said with a nervous chuckle.
"... The fact that could actually be possible in my world concerns me." Phoenix said.
"Time Travel is real!?" Fighter asked.
"Oh yeah, you probably don't know about them yet." Future Furry Luz said as she put a finger on her lip. "Sorry but I can't risk altering the timeline in your universe either."
'If hers is similar to mine, then I can't let her know that King is a Titan.' She thought, glancing at Fighter Luz.
"Either way, we need to find Athena before she gets what she wants in this universe." Phoenix said, looking up to the no longer furry woman. "We should also get somewhere safe in case she tries to attack again."
"Right, let's get to the Manor." Future Luz said.
Future Furry Luz held out her hands and made a large glyph appear under all of them, shocking Fighter Luz and Phoenix as it gained a gold glow and washed over them in a wave of energy!
They teleported to the Manor, where hundreds of guards in white armor with yellow suns and black Titan heads inside them were waiting to escort their boss.
"Madam President." The guards said to Future Luz.
"President?" Fighter and Phoenix repeated.
"Yeah, mom is sort of the elected president of the Boiling Isles. Democracy is WAY better than a monarchy." Cat said with a grin.
"Yeah... I didn't know they even had an election!" Future Luz said, "I was helping my mom in the Human Realm and suddenly I come back and I'm the president!"
"When was this?" Phoenix asked.
"Ten years ago." Amity said, "Yeah, the word 'Term Limits' aren't a thing here yet, plus the Isles would keep electing her."
"Catrina, can you go take Amity to the training ground?" Future Luz asked, "After all, I've used swords and Amity is by far the best one I've ever used."
"Okay, Mami." Cat said, "Te Amo."
Cat walked away with her hand around Amity's handle.
"We'll start with your grip. It's too tight, if you don't relax more then the recoil from each hit the swords will hurt more." Amity said, already giving Cat advice.
The trio watched Cat leave.
"Amity's going to be fine, right?" Fighter asked.
"Please, it's Amity, this isn't the first time she's been a weapon... or other things." Future Luz said.
"…I'm not even gonna ask. Let's just discuss about Athena." Fighter Luz said with a small blush.
"Yeah, we don't need to think about our Amitys that way right now." Phoenix said as her cheeks gave off pink flames.
"Right, who was that woman?" Future Luz asked, walking to the manor.
"A monster that wants to destroy every universe or rule them. Mainly because her own was destroyed and she was the only survivor." Fighter Luz explained as she and Phoenix followed Future Luz.
"Yeah, I've dealt with people like that." Future Luz said.
"You say that but trust us, this girl makes Belos look VERY tame." Fighter Luz said as they walked into the manor.
"Yeah, well, we can talk about that in the meeting room." Future Luz said, "Come, some of my most trusted guards will show you the way... you might know them."
Two guards came up.
"Willow?" Phoenix asked.
"Gus?" Fighter asked.
"Luz?" Gus questioned, seeing THREE Luzs in the room.
"And Luz and Luz?" Willow asked, looking between the three of them.
"Yeah, there's a lot of things to talk about." Future Luz said.
"Willow, who do we listen too?" Gus asked his fellow guard.
"Technically speaking, I'm an Emperor, I outrank her." Phoenix said, pointing to Future Luz.
"That word has been banned." Future Luz, Willow, and Gus said at the same time as they looked at Phoenix.
"It was one of my first official acts as president of the Demon Realm. No one shall EVER be recognized as or speak the word "emperor." After the shit Belos pulled as the first and ONLY "that word," people decided that one was enough." Future Luz said, crossing her arms.
"But... you're basically the president for life, right?" Fighter asked.
Future Luz nodded.
"Yes but I still like to hold an election every 4 years to be fair. Surprisingly, Eda, and some of the good coven heads have run against me, but they lost." Future Luz said, showing evidence of the demon democracy.
"But aside from that, you win every time, right?" Fighter Luz asked.
"Yep." Future Luz said before signing, running a hand over her face. "I need to find a way to remove myself from the ballot."
"But still, you're basically an emper-" Phoenix suddenly had spears pointed in her face. "Do you really think this is wise?"
"Maybe not but again, that word is banned." Willow said as Gus nodded. "So stop saying it."
"I don't fear death, I can't die." Phoenix said, pushing the spears away a bit. "So those are basically just sticks to me. Still, I'll stop, but only because we have to talk about the main issue."
"Yeah and we have more pressing matter concerning Athena than that word." Fighter Luz said as Gus and Willow pulled their spears away.
"Come, let's go to the meeting room." Future Luz said, pushing the doors open.
They all walked down the hall.
"Wooden spears against an unkillable fire god." Phoenix mumbled, "That's like getting rid of ice by pouring water on it."
"And I can become a furry god, that doesn't mean that something can't kill me." Future Luz said to Phoenix.
"Don't make this sound weird." Fighter Luz said to her.
As they went to the meeting room, Cat was swinging Amity trying to destroy the targets.
"That's too wide, sweetie." Amity said to Cat.
"I know. I know. I'm open if I swing too widely." Cat said.
"Try holding me at a different angle, see if that works better." Amity said.
"I can safely say, this is the first time my sword has actually taught me."
"Well, it's either this, or a puddle." Amity said, "I still don't know how that woman managed to make my abomination form unstable."
"Me either but hopefully it won't last forever." Cat said, swinging more sharply and stabbing into a training dummy. "I don't want my mom to remain a puddle. Though you do make a good weapon."
"Thank you and you make a good swordswoman. You just need a bit more practice." Amity said.
Cat ran and sliced clean through a dummy.
"Aw, my baby is growing up." Amity said, "Seems like yesterday you were saying your first word... last time I let Aunt Boscha and Aunt Amelia watch you."
"I still want to know the word I said." Cat said, not remembering the exact word she first said.
"No. No. No. Not until your 18th birthday." Amity said firmly.
Cat rolled her eyes as she kept practicing.
'I'll find out from Aunt Boscha later.' Cat thought as she moved on to a new training dummy. 'When she and Aunt Amelia return from their anniversary that is.'
Cat put her mother-sword in reverse grip and began swinging at the training dummy.
"Sweetie, why are you using a reverse grip? That's not as effective." Amity said to her.
"It is if you're fast enough." Cat said to her.
"Yes, but I'm more of a short sword, not a Katana." Amity said, "Hold me like this leaves you completely open and vulnerable."
"I'll be fine, mom." Cat said, rolling her eyes.
"Don't you roll your eyes, young lady. That kind of arrogance will get you hurt!" Amity said.
"Mom." Cat groaned.
"Listen to your mother, Catrina." Amity said firmly.
"Ugh!" Cat groaned before switching back to normal grip. "Fine!"
"Good, now go through a basic combo attack." Amity said.
"With or without magic?" Cat asked.
"Without first, then with magic." Amity instructed.
Cat swung Amity to the left, then the right, then sliced upwards, before bringing her down.
The training dummy slowly broke apart before falling to the ground, completely destroyed by Cat's swift and precise slashes.
'Perfect.' Cat thought.
"Good work." Amity said, "I'm glad that Uncle Hunter has been helping with your lessons."
"Naturally. He's the best sword fighter in town." Cat said, looking towards another practice dummy. "Now I'm gonna try a combo with magic."
"Be careful, sweetie." Amity said to her.
"I will mom. I promise." Cat said, drawing three spell circles and making them on her left arm like wristbands. "Just watch and see."
'Teleport.' Cat thought before teleporting behind the dummy and kicked the head before slashing down! 'Now fire!'
Cat shuffled to the front and slashing up before blasting a fireball in the chest!
'Finally vines!' Cat thought as she held out the final spell circle and fired vines at the dummy, ripping it apart.
"Fatality!" Cat said in a deep voice.
'I knew that getting Catrina that Mortal Kombat game would be a bad idea.' Amity thought. 'Last time I let Luz get her birthday gifts alone.'
"Okay, is there anything else I can work on, mom?" Cat asked, looking at Amity.
"How's your abomination magic?" Amity asked.
Cat rubbed her arm. There was a reason she doesn't take the Abomination track... she sucked at it.
"It's….fine." Cat said slowly, glancing away.
"Define "fine," sweetie." Amity said, pressing her.
"You know, it's…manageable." Cat said, dancing around the issue.
Thankfully, the Luzs arrived which helped Cat get away from that question.
"My babies! How's training going?" Future Luz asked with a smile.
"Good." Cat said, "What's going on with the crazy lady?"
"Well, we figured that she was knocked off her intended target." Future Luz said, "Which is both good and bad, as she isn't looking for anything to help her plans, at least not that we know of. The bad news is that also means we don't know where she's hiding or where she's going next."
"We also don't know if she needs time to build up energy for a dimensional portal or not, so time is a factor as well." Phoenix said.
"Hopefully we can find her before then." Fighter said, crossing her arms.
Elsewhere, Athena was growling, as her strength hasn't returned enough to open a portal. She needed someone to help her... and she thought she knew who. She looked at a newspaper and saw the words, "Famed Potionier, Boscha Bellflower, to expect first child".
"Perfect." Athena said, smirking under her mask.
At a resort at the base of the Raised Arm, Boscha smiled and hugged Amelia from behind, rubbing Amelia's 4 month pregnant stomach.
"You're going to be the best witch this world has ever seen." Boscha said.
"But no pressure, sweetie." Ameli said, looking at her stomach. "We don't want you to think you need to be perfect."
"Not true. They'll ALREADY be perfect, so there's no pressure." Boscha said, sounding sweet yet still competitive.
She then gave Amelia a kiss on the cheek.
"Happy anniversary, Mel." Boscha said.
"Happy anniversary back, Bos." Amelia said, smiling from the kiss.
It didn't seem like anything would ruin their vacation.
*Knock knock knock.*
The married couple turned to the door, hearing sudden knocking interrupting their moment together.
"Room service!" A voice said from the other side.
"About time." Boscha said, "Boscha needs her vodka."
She was about to open the door when an axe head split the wood.
"AAAAH!" Both wives screamed as Boscha stepped back!
The axe was pulled from the door as Athena looked in from the crack!
"HERE'S DEATH!" Athena shouted as she broke the door in two and entered.
"Who the hell are you?!" Boscha shouted in anger.
"Didn't you hear me? I'm death!" Athena shouted, spinning her axe.
Boscha made a spell circle and held a fireball.
"I'm not afraid of death." Boscha said.
"I never said it was your own." Athena replies.
Boscha threw the fire at Athena and she seemed to be reduced to dust, but that was a way to avoid the fire and hold Amelia in a choke hold.
"Now, I'm going to give you a choice. You help me, or..." Athena said, putting the axe against Amelia's cheek and cutting her skin enough to draw blood, "You watch as I rip your wife open and we see what gender your child would've been."
"NO!" Boscha shouted in fear.
"Please don't! We'll do anything you want!" Amelia said, beginning to cry.
"Good." Athena said.
Boscha held her arms up in surrender as Athena stepped away from Amelia but snapped her fingers as shadows circled around both of their necks.
"What is this?" Amelia asked as the shadows formed collars on her and Boscha.
"Insurance to make sure you BOTH do as I say for my plan." Athena said.
At the Manor, Future Luz was pacing back and forth in her office. She was worried about this woman, and what she could be after.
"And that's ALL we know about her and have been through while chasing her." Fighter Luz said, drinking some water.
'I HATE that nightmare realm with a great passion now.' She thought.
Suddenly a guard rushed in.
"Madam President, we just received a video message."
"From who?"
"From Mrs. Bellflower... it's urgent."
"Load it to my crystal ball." Future Luz said, sitting at her desk.
The screen lit up, showing Amelia, who had a black eye, was crying, and was clearly being forced to read off a script.
"L-L-Luz Noceda, you are to bring your two copies to Athena, by sundown, in handcuffs. I-I-If you do not comply, then... then Boscha and Amelia Bellflower will... will be killed." She said, sniffling.
The camera changed to Athena.
"You're being sent a location as we speak, by the time you get here, Boscha should be done with the potion needed to restore me to full strength and allow me to continue on with my mission." She said.
"Grrr! Do you have any idea who you're fucking with?!" Future Luz shouted.
Athena couldn't hear her, as this was prerecorded, and just continued with her threat.
"I'm sure you're wondering who I am but I'll just say this. I am a woman who will stop at NOTHING to reach my goals. No matter how much blood I spill, no matter how many lives I have to take, and no matter how many WORLDS I have to destroy." Athena said, wringing her hands together. "As the expression states, "the ends justify the means." I hope you will take that to heart when you make your choice."
Future Luz was so angry she grabbed Amity from Cat and slammed her down onto the crystal ball.
BOOM!
Instead of slashing through it, the impact DESTROYED the crystal ball and the desk as a smoking crater was the aftermath!
Future Luz growled as her eyes glowed, still full of anger and frustration.
"Um, mom?" Cat asked, slightly scared from the display of power.
"You might want to step back a bit. Let her calm down." Phoenix said.
"Yeah. Trust me, don't make "me" mad." Fighter Luz said to her.
Several deep breaths later, Future Luz finally calmed down a bit.
"Track the magic signal." Future Luz said to the guard.
"R-Right away, ma'am!" He shouted, rushing out of the room.
"Luz, what are you planning?" Amity asked as Future Luz looked at her sword-wife.
"I'm planning on saving my daughter's aunts." Future Luz said.
"You're not gonna just rush in without a plan, are you?" Amity asked.
"That's plan B." Future Luz said as she looked to Fighter Luz and Phoenix. "We are gonna work on plan A first."
"What are you thinking?" Phoenix asked.
"We go along with Athena's demands but we sabotage the cuffs." Future Luz said.
"That might work." Phoenix said, rubbing her chin.
"But what if she suspects they're tampered with?" Fighter Luz asked.
"Maybe you can make it so they work before deactivating them with a special switch. Grandpa Alador could have something like that in his lab." Cat said, adding her say in.
"Maybe." Future Luz said, before turning to her. "Cat, take your mother and go talk to your grandfather."
"Okay, mom." Cat said as Future Luz gave sword Amity to her and they soon left.
"You really think Alador has magic canceling cuffs?" Fighter Luz asked.
"It seems a little crazy, even for him." Phoenix said.
"He found a way to reverse petrification, trust me, this is nothing compared to that." Future Luz said with a shrug.
'Really?!' Fighter and Phoenix thought as they glanced at each other.
This would be a VERY good thing to hope for in their futures when they returned to their universes.
They both made a mental note to ask him about that... though that would be hard for Fighter, as her only interaction with either Blight Parent was them trying to kill her.
'Eh, I'll deal with that bridge when I come to it.' Fighter Luz thought.
Guard Gus and Willow walked in, having listened in on the message.
"What can we do to help?" Gus asked.
"Make sure the other guards are securing anything valuable, there's no telling if she has ulterior motives."
"Understood. I'll also tell Hunter so he can be emergency backup." Willow said.
"If he's not too busy with work." Future Luz said out of concern for her "brother."
Outside of the manor and a good distance away, Cat landed her staff in town and headed to the New Blight Industries, far different than before. This one is designed for helping others and producing new types of medical devices and things like that. Though, Alador does still dabble in making weapons for Luz's guards. Cat held her staff, Puggle, in one hand, and Amity was secured to her waist by the belt loop. She entered the building and found her grandfather in his lab.
"Grandpa?" Cat asked.
Alador looked up and removed his goggles.
"Catrina, what can I do for my little abomination?" Alador asked.
Cat chuckled at the nickname, as she was what Eda would describe as a "Little Shit" when she was a baby.
"Uh, Mami wanted to know if you had some kind of rigged handcuffs." Cat said.
"Rigged handcuffs? Wouldn't that be more Edalyn's specialty?" Alador asked.
"Well, Grandma Eda is away right now, so I can't ask her." Cat said, resting her hand on Amity's handle.
"Hmm, okay. So what exactly is the reason for them?" Alador asked.
"Something is happening and if we don't do this, Aunt Amelia and Aunt Boscha could be hurt by someone terrible." Cat said.
"I see." Alador said with a nod.
"She also managed to destabilize me and force me to be stuck as a sword for a while." Amity said as Alador looked at her.
"Amity? I didn't even know that was you." He said in surprise.
Cat took Amity out of the loop and handed her to Alador.
"Hm, light yet sturdy." He said, looking over his daughter as a sword.
"Thank you, I've lost a few pounds." Amity said with an eye smile.
"So, can you help us?" Cat asked, giving her grandpa the 'Otter Eyes'.
No, not puppy eyes, Luz and Amity call them the Otter Eyes.
"Catrina, no otter eyes." Alador said as he put his goggles on to resist.
"Please, grandpa? Pretty pixie please?" Cat asked as her lower lip began to tremble.
This made Alador shake as he looked away but slowly turned back, unable to resist the pleading of his granddaughter. Releasing a sigh, Alador put Amity on a nearby table.
"Okay, I'll help. And I may already have a way to help." Alador said.
"Great!" Cat said before hugging Alador. "Thanks, grandpa!"
He gave Cat a kiss on the head.
"Anything for you, Little Abomination." He said.
Amity smiled at this, always loving how much of a good grandfather Alador is to Cat. He learned from his mistakes as a father, and was determined to treat his granddaughter better.
"Alright, let's get to work on those rigged handcuffs." Alador said, pulling away.
"Wait, we?" Cat asked.
"Why not? I could always use an extra pair of hands." Alador said to her. "And it doesn't matter if your abomination magic isn't strong right now, we won't need it for this."
Cat grabbed Amity and put her back into the belt loop.
"Okay, grandpa. I'm ready to help out." Cat said with a smile. "What do we do?"
"Follow my lead." Alador said, grabbing some tools.
For the next couple of hours, Cat and Alador worked together on the cuff, actually making sure the cuffs worked before sabotaging them. Cat thought it was strange and unnecessary, but Alador had a personal rule to never make a shoddy product, even if he would sabotage it later.
"Now, we just need to test them." Alador said, holding the finished cuffs.
"Okay." Cat said before she put her hands out, "I'm ready."
"HELL NO!" Amity shouted at her daughter. "You are not testing those cuffs!"
"Mom, I'm the only one that can." Cat said, "You're a sword, Grandpa needs to make sure they work, I'm the only one."
"We can ask one of the other employees!" Amity said to her.
"An abomination servant?" Alador asked.
"Mom, I trust grandpa." Cat said, "He won't do anything to me."
"But what if-" Amity was cut off as Cat spoke to her in Spanish.
"Mamá, por favor. Ten fe en el abuelo y en mí./"Mom, please. Have faith in grandpa and faith in me." Cat said with a small smile.
Amity sighed.
"Okay." She said.
Cat nodded to her before looking to Alador.
"I'm ready, grandpa." Cat said, still holding her arms out.
Alador nodded to her before slowly placing the magic blocking handcuffs on her.
'Okay, time to test them.' Cat thought before trying to make a spell circle, the cuffs shocked her.
"Ouch!" Cat said in pain.
"They work, the anti-magic system in it works properly." Alador said with a nod
"Great, now how do we sabotage them?" Cat asked.
"And make it snappy, dad! Get my daughter out of those!" Amity said, worried.
"I will, Mittens, you know I would never do anything to hurt Catrina." Alador said.
"Then show us so we can show Luz." Amity said.
"I am." Alador said, grabbing a special remote, "I designed this remote with the cuffs. This will make them break apart."
With just a push of the button, the handcuff sparked as they slowly broke to pieces and clattered on the floor.
"And if needed, they can come back together like new." Alador said as he pressed the button again and the cuffs reformed.
"Great!" Cat said, grabbing the cuffs, "Thanks, Grandpa!"
"Anytime, Catrina." Alador said, smiling as he gave her the remote.
"Now let's get back to Luz." Amity said as Cat put her sword-self back on her hip.
Cat grabbed Puggle and ran outside, flying into the sky on her staff.
"Not too fast, Catrina!" Amity shouted.
"Can't hear you! Wind in my ears!" Cat shouted, lying.
Amity wasn't thrilled with that answer.
'Oh, Amity, what could possibly go wrong with having Gus teach her to fly?' Amity thought, remembering what Luz said the day Cat got her staff.
It made the sword woman groan and mutter to herself about punishing her wife for this AND one of Cat's uncles after this was over.
Cat arrived at the Manor and practically busted the doors down before skidding to a halt!
"Record time!" Cat said in glee.
"That's coming out of your allowance!" Amity said, killing the mood.
'Whatever, my allowance is 4 figures.' Cat thought.
"Mami, we're back!" Cat yelled towards the next room.
"Coming, sweetie!" Future Luz shouted.
"Do you have the cuffs!?" Phoenix shouted.
"Yes, I have them!" Cat said, holding up the cuffs. "Just because I was turned into a puppet once doesn't mean I still have wood for brains, I remembered them."
"Catrina, hush! The timeline!" Amity said as the three versions of Luz came into the foyer.
'Even if they're from different universes, they haven't experienced it yet.' Amity thought.
"Great. But what's with the remote?" Fighter Luz asked.
"This is what destroys the cuffs but can also put them back together." Cat said, holding up the remote. "Keep it hidden from view, and you'll get the drop on her."
"Good. This will work great with our plan." Future Luz said, taking the cuffs and opening them. "But we gotta hurry, we're running out of time."
She turned to Fighter and Phoenix, nodding to them as they nodded back and helped their arms out.
"Let's go save a bitch and a green giant." Phoenix said.
"Hey, those are my aunts you're talking about." Cat said, putting the cuffs on.
"Then you should know how Boscha is." Phoenix said.
"She's grown out of that and you know it." Cat said as the cuffs closed.
Now Phoenix was cuffed at the left hand while Fighter Luz was cuffed at the right hand, leaving them stuck together for now.
"Ugh!" Phoenix let out as she was shocked and her flames dulled down. "Guess they do work."
"You okay?" Fighter Luz asked.
"I'll manage." Phoenix replied.
Ignoring the pain of her dopplegangers, Future Luz can't help but smirk for some reason.,Which resulted in Amity glaring at her.
"Don't even think about it." She said.
"I won't... but I am thinking about it." Future Luz said, still smirking.
"What's she talking about?" Phoenix asked.
"She's just being reminded of our honeymoon." Amity said.
"Honeymoon? Ew, gross! Mom!" Cat shouted at Future Luz.
"You'll understand when you're older, Catrina." Future Luz said.
"I don't want to understand now!" Cat shouted, covering her ears.
"Can we focus on the problem at hand?" Fighter asked.
"Agreed." Phoenix said with a nod.
'Though this gives me thoughts of my Amity when we're older.' She thought.
As the good guys were heading towards the meeting point Athena told them to go, Athena was watching as Boscha was putting the finishing touches on the magic recovery potion she demanded.
"Is it almost finished?" Athena asked.
"Y-Y-yes." Boscha said, nodding.
"Good. You and your wife just might see your children grow up." Athena said, being "nice" as she smiled under her helmet.
"T-Thanks but where is Amelia?" Boscha asked.
"Don't worry, you'll see her again." Athena said, pointing to the cauldron. "When you're finished."
"Can I at least see if she is okay? Please?" Boscha begged.
"Hehehe, adorable. Very well." Athena said, snapping her fingers and creating a shadow portal to see Amelia.
She was tied up in a black room, clearly unconscious. But there was no sign of injuries or death as Boscha could see she was breathing.
"Thank Titan." Boscha muttered before refocusing on the potion.
"Now hurry up, or else." Athena said, making the shadow portal disappear.
Boscha didn't reply as she continued working.
'My power is returning but not soon enough.' Athena thought, creating a tiny portal to her pocket dimension and holding her amalgamation object. 'I need that potion or my entire plan goes to SHIT!'
Athena took a few breaths to calm down, trying not to show weakness to the witch she held captive.
'I only need ONE more dimension and it will be done.' She thought.
Athena sent the orb away and summoned her battle axe, using it to get some training in since it would be her best bet in a fight. Husks were limited as well, only able to summon five at best instead of much more.
And it would be needed, as the battle will be hard, and the next dimension... is known as one of, if not the, most powerful dimension in the entire multiverse. That Luz would be near impossible to defeat.
But Athena would be ready and then her plan would be complete. She just needed to wait.
30 minutes of training later, Athena received a signal from a perimeter spell she set beforehand.
"They're here." Athena said with a smirk.
Outside the building, the group consisting of the Luz's, Willow, Gus, and Cat, who was holding Amity, waited. In front of them, Fighter and Phoenix were in the cuffs.
"I still don't like Catrina being here." Amity said.
"Amity, we both know she would've come anyway, I'd rather know she's here meaning I can protect her, than her showing up randomly and getting hurt." Future Luz said, "Now remember the plan."
The doors opened and Athena walked out.
"So glad you could arrive." She said.
"Glad we could make it. Now where are our friends?" Future Luz asked, glaring at Athena.
"They're safely imprisoned inside, don't worry about it." Athena said, casting her gaze on Fighter Luz and Phoenix. "Nice to see that you two are right where I want you. Now, I can't kill the girl in the trench coat, not yet at least, but I can kill YOU!"
Before anyone could blink, Athena slammed her axe blade into Fighter Luz's chest.
"Guh!?" Fighter Luz spat up a ton of blood, collapsing.
"FIGHTER!" Phoenix shouted as she caught her.
She went limp, as the light left her eyes and blood poured from the wound... she was dead.
"Hehehehehe, that's one pest FINALLY out of my hair!" Athena said, turning to Phoenix. "And with you in those Magic canceling cuffs, you're next!"
"We brought them to you, now where are Boscha and Amelia!?" Future Luz demanded.
"You'll get them alive and unharmed, don't worry. Now quiet, I've got killing to do." Athena said, chuckling in excitement.
She charged at Phoenix, her axe aimed right for the torso. Phoenix raised her leg and the axe hit that and bounced off. Athena was knocked back by the sudden block and was shocked... she can only think of one time this has happened... when she tried to cut off Fighter Luz's leg in Abomination Luz's dimension. She looked over at Fighter's body, only to discover it was gone, and the door to the hide out was broken down.
"NO!" Athena shouted.
"Interesting thing about working with a person that sounds and look identical to you... switch clothes, and no one can tell the difference." Fighter Luz said.
Future Luz pressed the button and the cuffs fell off. Fighter tossed Phoenix's trench coat off and charged at Athena, with Future Luz, Guard Willow, Guard Gus, and Cat charging as well. In the building, Phoenix was going through the place, using Fighter's glyph gloves to dispose of any husk.
"These things are amazing! I should really find a way to make them in my universe." Phoenix said, throwing a light orb to blind a husk before impaling it with an ice sword. "It really saves me magic energy!"
She came to a locked door, sure she could break it down herself... but she's been itching to see how strong she is when she activates the power glyph!
"Ooooh! That's a rush!" Phoenix said, shivering in a good way as the strengthening magic flowed through her! "I am definitely going to use more of these when I get home too!"
Taking a breath and cracking her knuckles, Phoenix pulled her hand back and wound it around a few times before PUNCHING the door off its hinges!
It launched through the other wall, flying away from the back of the building. Inside, she found Amelia.
She was unconscious, banged up, a little dirty, and chained to the wall, but not hurt.
'Oh thank Titan, she and that baby are okay.' Phoenix thought as she went over to her.
"Amelia, wake up." She said to her.
Amelia groaned and slowly opened her bloodstained eyes.
"L-L-Luz?"
"Yes but also no but don't worry, I'm gonna get you out of here." Phoenix said, grabbing the chain and breaking it. "Do you have any injuries I can't see?"
"I don't care about my body, I know healers, what I care about is my baby." Amelia said, putting her hands on her stomach.
"The baby? Don't worry, I can check." Phoenix said, taking a knee and deactivating the power glyph.
She slowly placed her hand on Amelia's stomach, pushing the healing glyph on the glove.
'Man, I have to thank this world's Luz for upgrading these to fit these new glyphs... what happened to the old ones?' She thought
Shaking those thoughts away, Phoenix used the healing glyph on Amelia for both her AND her unborn child.
"There, now let's get out of-"
"Not without Boscha." Amelia said.
"I will find her but you need to get out first." Phoenix said.
"No, not without her. Athena had her working on something important and we need to stop it." Amelia said, standing up. "Til death do us part. That's the only way I'm leaving her."
"Amelia, I admire the loyalty, but this is too serious. We-" Phoenix was slapped in the face, stunned by the older woman.
"You don't know me and you don't know my wife! And believe me, you do NOT want to piss off a pregnant woman! Now let's go find my Boscha!" Amelia said, stomping to the doorway.
'Note to self... don't piss off my Amity when we have kids.' Phoenix thought, rubbing her cheek.
Phoenix followed Amelia out of the room and begrudgingly walked through the building to find Boscha. After three floors of searching, they found her.
Chained like Amelia was but by the ankles and stirring a medium sized cauldron of glowing potion.
"Boscha!" Amelia shouted, causing the triclops to stop.
"Amelia!? Luz?!" Boscha said in shock
Phoenix had never seen a pregnant woman run, but when Amelia saw Boscha, there was no stopping her. The two hugged and shared a kiss full of love and passion.
"I was so worried!" Amelia said.
"And you think I wasn't?! I was so scared that armored psycho killed you both and lied to me!" Boscha said, placing a hand on Amelia's stomach.
"You think the child of the star Grudgby player and best potioneer on the entire Isles will let some armor-clad bitch take them out?" Amelia asked.
"Hehehehe! Hell no!" Boscha said with a happy chuckle, glancing back at the potion. "And as the best potioneer, I think it's time I showed that bitch who she messed with."
"I can agree with that plan." Phoenix said, grinning and rubbing her hands together.
"Then let's get to work but first…..who are you?" Boscha asked Phoenix. "You look like Luz when she was a kid but your hair is on fire."
"Long story short, I'm a Luz from another dimension." Phoenix said, "But you can call me Phoenix."
"Like that immortal firebird myth?" Amelia asked.
"Not a myth and yes. Now can we sabotage this potion and leave before Athena comes back?" Phoenix asked, looking back to Boscha.
"Who do you think you're talking to, Kid?" Boscha asked with a smirk, "Give me three minutes."
Boscha shared a quick kiss with Amelia before marching to the cauldron, popping her fingers in anticipation.
"Let's see how you feel when someone messes with something you love, bitch." Boscha said.
Boscha drew a spell circle and summoned several different vials, making them float around her.
"A little of this. A pinch of this one. Add this whole vial." Boscha said as she mixed in the new ingredients and stirred the potion. "Maybe a little of this for some "pow." Hehehe."
"Is she enjoying this too much?" Phoenix asked.
"I think she's earned that right." Amelia said with a smile.
"Done." Boscha said, making the vials disappear and gathering some of the new mix up an empty bottle.
"So what exactly did you make for Athena?" Phoenix asked.
"A potion to help recover her magic, whatever you did before you got here really weakened her." Boscha said, looking at Phoenix.
"Nothing much, we just kind of just stopped her from reaching her real destination." "Phoenix said with a shrug.
"That's it?" Amelia asked, confused by how "normal" that sounded.
"Well, it was through an interdimensional portal. So there's that." Phoenix said before hearing a BOOM from outside. "Okay, enough talking, we need to get out there!"
Outside, Fighter was doing her best, but with her gloves being useless in this world and Phoenix having them in order to complete the look, she was forced to fight with her kickboxing and her metal leg. She delivered a strong punch to Athena's stomach, and while she was distracted, Cat ran at Athena from behind, wielding Amity.
'Up, down, right, stab!' Cat thought as she swung her mother-sword in that exact way!
Athena dodged each attack. When Cat attempted to swing at her again, Athena grabbed Amity... and broke the blade in half.
"MOM?!" Cat shouted in shock and fear.
Amity let out a pain filled scream as her two pieces snapped and landed on the ground. Cat tried to reach a piece, but Athena kicked Amity away.
"You're an interesting girl." Athena said, "I think I remember you from my dimension... I watched your skin melt off as I held you in the Boiling Sea."
Cat pulled out a plant glyph and tried to attack, but Athena grabbed her hand and twisted it fast, breaking Cat's wrist. Cat let out a scream as Athena grabbed her by the neck and held her up, Cat was slowly suffocating.
"Somehow, with so much magic knowledge, you're just as weak as the human that made you." Athena said.
Said human... grabbed Athena by the head and slammed her on the ground, making her drop Cat. Future Luz was slowly growing horns and fur was covering her.
"If you ever think about messing with my daughter again... I will show you why I am the Titan's Blessed." Future Luz said, grabbing and throwing Athena away from Cat.
"M-Mami. I-I-" Cat was cut off as Luz hugged her gently.
"It's alright, your mother will be fine." Luz said, pointing at Amity and drawing a spell circle. "I'll fix her up."
Amity melted into formless goo again and Luz had her wrap around her hands, making large gloves.
"Let's see if those boxing lessons Eda's been giving me have paid off." Titan Luz said.
"They better have because I want revenge now more than ever!" Amity shouted, her mouth on the left glove and the eyes on the right glove.
The young Titan moved towards Athena and clenched her fingers, forming her wife into abomination gauntlets.
"Catrina, stay with the younger Luz." Amity said to her.
"B-But I can still help!" Cat said, still a bit shaken from seeing her mother "broken."
"Listen to your mother." Future Luz said, "We don't want you over here."
"B-B-But-" Cat stuttered out.
"Cat, we know you want to help but she's too strong. Leave this to us!" Amity said before she and Titan Luz rushed off.
Titan Luz let out a massive roar as she jumped in the air. Charging her magic into Amity. Amity began glowing and the two made a powerful blast when T. Luz slammed her fist down on the ground.
Athena got up from the ground, popping her neck before seeing the magic blast coming at her.
"Oh…..shit." Athena said, quickly conjuring a shield to block!
She managed to block it and hold the blast off, but her shield was cracking. She suddenly had an idea. She summoned Husks to attack Fighter, which left Cat unprotected.
"You're strong, there's no denying, but you are like every other pathetic creature, you have weaknesses." Athena said, "And it looks like your daughter hasn't unlocked her Titan gene yet."
Athena forced the magic off her shield and back at Titan Luz, knocking her back. Athena used this chance to rush at Cat, but she wasn't going to kill her... no... she was going to hurt her. She opened a portal behind Cat, and delivered a strong kick to Cat, knocking her into the portal.
"NO!" Amity and Titan Luz shouted.
The portal closed... and things went quiet. Athena smiled under her helmet and turned to Titan Luz.
"Now that she's out of the way, there's nothing holding you back... I want to see your full strength." Athena said, clapping her hands clean.
Titan Luz let Amity melt off her and form a puddle of goo on the ground. Her eyes began to glow blue and her teeth grew sharp.
"RAAAAHHHHH!" She roared, sounding more like a wild animal than a person. She charged at Athena.
In the void, Cat wanted to move, but she couldn't... she was stuck... a little wooden puppet, on the ground, forgotten, abandoned.
"Truly a shame we never were able to return Catrina to normal." Amity said, looking at Cat, "Nothing more than a puppet for the Collector to play with, as she has been for years."
"This is what happens when you mess with Time Travel Catrina." Future Luz said, "You have no one to blame but yourself."
'No, no, mom, Mami! Please don't say that.' Cat said but couldn't move her mouth.
"It is a shame, but don't worry, we'll have another kid, and they can play with you." Amity said, "You'll be a good doll for them."
'No! Please!' Cat mentally screamed.
Wherever she was or whatever this is, it was Cat's worst nightmare! Being abandoned, replaced, the manifestation of the puppet body just increased her fear, she still had nightmares about being the Collector's toy. The two fears combined have formed the worst possible scenario.
Outside of the void, Titan Luz was unleashing on Athena. Athena hadn't planned for the rabid Titan to be this powerful.
"RAAHHH!" The Weh attack was far more powerful in her rabid form, knocking Athena back hard enough to slam through trees.
"WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY DAUGHTER?!" Future Luz shouted, her mouth nearly foaming as magic was steaming from her eyes.
"Nothing bad, just slowly breaking her mind." Athena said.
That made Luz even more mad. She ran and tackled Athena, sending her through solid rock walls. She slammed Athena on the ground and unleashed with a flurry of punches. Athena dodged one, then another, then a third, before using her axe and slamming it into the half Titan. The axe slammed into Luz's shoulder and a large amount of blue blood began to pour out of her... but she didn't flinch. She grabbed the axe handle and pulled the axe out of her. Athena actually had to blink at this, as it shocked her. She learned that there's one thing you don't do, and that's make a mother with the powers of a god angry.
'I gravely miscalculated!' Athena thought as she saw the wound glow, quickly healing shut!
Titan Luz grabbed Athena and lifted her in the air, before throwing her to the side.
"GIVE ME BACK MY DAUGHTER!" She shouted!
Titan Luz held out a hand and a large circle with the four original glyphs around them formed.
"These things only work for me because of my Titan powers, I know about these more than anyone, I can say, that if you don't give me my daughter back right FUCKING now... I will kill you!" She said with a snarl, blasting the large spell!
Athena used a shield of black magic to block it. The two magics hit and a massive shockwave rang through the land. Athena was knocked backwards and coughed in pain. Titan Luz staggered towards her.
"Give me... my daughter... back." Future Luz said.
"If you want her back." Athena said, opening the void, "There's the broken mess."
Cat was thrown out, pale as a sheet, near tears, and breathing heavily. Future Luz ran over to Cat. She returned to her human form, purely out of sheer exhaustion.
"Catrina!" Future Luz said, "Oh thank Titan you're alive!"
"M-M-Mami?" Cat asked, before breaking down and crying uncontrollably, "Don't abandon me, please don't leave me!"
She jumped and crashed into Future Luz, knocking her down and hugging her as tightly as she could.
"Please don't! Please don't! Please don't! Please don't!" Cat said as she cried into her mother's chest.
Future Luz held Cat close, not aware that Athena was going up behind her. Athena raised her axe and was about to kill the both of them, when Fighter grabbed one of the glyphs Cat dropped and fired an ice spike at the axe, knocking it away.
"Get away from them, you fire hydrant looking bitch!" Fighter Luz shouted, grabbing two fire glyphs.
'Let's see if this will work!' Fighter thought as she slapped the glyphs together, pulling her hands apart and creating a lightning bolt! 'YES!'
She didn't know this spell that well, but if it could stop Athena, that's great! She ran and grabbed another one before she slammed it to the ground!
'Please be a plant glyph!' Fighter thought as the ground shook
Suddenly, giant vines grew and wrapped Athena in a vice!
"Ugh!" Athena grunts, struggling in the tightening plants!
She was able to snap a few before Fighter threw the lightning bolt at her, shocking her greatly!
"GAAAAAH!" Athena screamed!
"Stay down!" Fighter Luz said, holding the last glyph Cat dropped.
"Never!" Athena said, breaking free and rushing at her!
She attempted to attack Fighter... only for a familiar fireball to be thrown at her.
"Guess who?!" Phoenix shouted, standing at the entrance with Boscha and Amelia at her sides.
"GIRLS!" Amity shouted, happy to see Boscha and Amelia were alright.
"Amity? Where are you?" Boscha asked, looking around for her.
"You...are standing on me." Amity said.
Boscha pulled her foot up, showing Amity was still a puddle of abomination muck.
"Crazy woman?" Boscha asked.
"Yep." Amity said with a POP from a bubble.
"Allow me." Amelia said, drawing a spell circle.
She may not be an Abomination witch, but she could still use the plants to make a jar for her.
"YOU!" Athena shouted, standing up and smoking from both attacks!
Athena gathered her magic to attack before Boscha held up the "recovery potion."
"Hold it! You attack us and I'll pour this out!" Boscha shouted.
Athena seethed as she stopped her attack, glaring at the triclops.
"Give it to me!" She screamed.
"Let us go! Let us ALL go first!" Boscha shouted at Amelia.
"Are you seriously bargaining with her?!" Phoenix asked in "shock." "You can't give her that!"
Boscha gave her a look that said, trust me. Phoenix assumed Boscha had a plan, knowing what she did with the potion before they came out, so she played along and trusted Boscha.
"Do we have a deal?" Boscha asked, looking back at Athena.
Athena growled before kicking Fighter away from her, "letting her live" so she could have what she wanted.
"UFG!" Fighter grunted as she was sent flying before she was caught by Future Luz.
"I got you, me." Future Luz said, carrying her still crying daughter in her other arm.
"There, now give me the potion!" Athena shouted at Boscha.
"Alright, take it!" Boscha shouted as she threw the potion towards Athena.
Using her shadows, Athena shot a tendril out and grabbed it. Pulling it into her hands.
"Yes! Finally my strength returns to me!" Athena said, opening the vial and drinking it under her mask!
"No!" Fighter shouted as Phoenix, Boscha, and Amelia carrying Amity ran up to them. "Do you have any idea what you've done?!"
"Yes and we're going to want to brace ourselves right now!" Boscha said.
Boscha then put a protection spell up to block Amelia from what was about to happen. The rest of them would be fine.
"Aaah! Yes! That's the stuff!" Athena said, throwing the empty vial away. "I can already feel my full power returning."
'And 3... 2... 1.' Boscha thought with a tiny grin.
A gurgling sound was heard, making Athena hold her stomach as she began to waver.
"Wait, what's this?" She asked, going down to a knee. "Something doesn't feel right."
"Oh, it's nothing much, just a combustion potion." Boscha said, her grin turning into a smirk.
"Combustion?" Everyone but Amelia said to Boscha.
"COMBUSTION?!" Athena shouted as she groaned loudly, her stomach growling even louder! "W-What have you done to me?!"
"Basically, after tiny fire Luz freed me, I added a few more ingredients to give your little potion some extra "kick." I hope you like it." Boscha said, still smirking.
"You worthless wretc-AAAAH!" Athena screamed, curling into herself before she began to glow. "AAAAAAAAAH!"
Suddenly, there was a massive explosion, knocking almost everyone back. When it died down, there was a crater where Athena was.
"Whoooooa." Amelia and Amity said in surprise, looking at the crater behind the shield Boscha gave them.
"That was a lot of "kick"." Fighter said with wide eyes.
"Is she… dead?" Phoenix asked.
Suddenly, an axe slammed into her back.
"Impressive, but it will take more than that to kill me." Athena said, tired but gleeful.
Everyone turned to see Athena standing behind them, covered in scorch marks and smoking from the explosion.
"How are you still alive?!" Boscha asked in disbelief.
"Hehehehe, though your potion DID combust me from the inside out, it still did its purpose of restoring my magic power. So I reinforced my body inside and out before the explosion occurred." Athena said before coughing a bit, spitting up blood. "It still hurt, but I'll recover. And now...I have no reason to keep any of you alive now."
Athena reclaimed and slammed her axe into the ground, releasing a powerful wave of black magic that sends everyone to the ground!
"Boscha!" Amelia shouted, banging on the shield that was now a prison!
"Luz!" Amity said, still abomination muck in a plant bucket.
'I sort of regret that but it's to keep her safe.' Boscha thought, making the spell specific so that it only goes down when she desires it to go down.
Athena walked up to Boscha and raised her axe.
"Good riddance." Athena said.
Athena was about to kill Boscha, but was stopped by a large number of plant vines. Future Luz was doing her best to keep Boscha safe. Athena smirked under her mask and let the axe go.
"Fine, I'll do this the old fashioned way." She said, charging Future Luz.
Future Luz tried her best to block, but she was still so tired from being in her Titan Form and had no ability to stop Athena's strike. Future Luz felt a rib break from the punch to her chest, before a knee was slammed into her face. She fell backwards, blue blood falling out of her nose.
"I'm going to take joy in this." Athena said as she pulled Future Luz up and put her in a choke hold.
"Let go of her!" Phoenix said, as her and Fighter got ready for a fight.
"We know how this goes, you use someone as leverage, making it so we can't fight and you can get away." Fighter said, "You have what you need, so just go already!"
Athena just laughed.
"Oh, but I don't have what I need. What I need..." Athena said before snapped Future Luz's neck and let the corpse fall, "Is to see you two unleash."
They stood there, shocked, horrified... enraged. Phoenix was the first to attack, moving at speed she hadn't thought possible, and delivered a punch so hard that Athena didn't feel it for a second. When she did, she flew back a good few hundred feet. Athena began to stand up, only for Fighter to charge at her.
The two fought, as Cat dragged herself to Future Luz's body. She put a hand over the body.
"Mami... mami, get up!" Cat said, feeling tears run down her face uncontrollable, "Please... I... I need you."
Cat put her head on Future Luz's chest, hoping for a heart beat... there was none. Cat closed her eyes and clenched her fist.
"Athena." Cat growled.
She opened her eyes and they were black and gold. Phoenix and Fighter were bloodthirsty, but not blood thirsty enough to keep up with Athena, who was easily able to defeat them, as she was thinking straight. They were both knocked to the ground and Athena got ready to end them too.
"Shame, I was expecting more." Athena said, "Get ready to-"
"WEH!"
Athena was knocked away and Fighter and Phoenix looked over, seeing Cat... after she finally unlocked her Titan Gene.
'What the fuck?' Phoenix thought in shock and awe.
'Oh my god.' Fighter Luz thought, looking at Cat in surprise.
Athena stood up and glared at Cat.
The Titan shield was now covered in fur, with an overcoat similar to Future Luz's when she was in her Titan form. Her horns were unlike her mother's, they were curved more like a ram's horns. Her glasses were also made of the boney type material that her horns were made of.
"You…You KILLED MY MOTHER!" Cat shouted at Athena, her magic flaring as her eyes burned with tears.
"Don't worry... I'll send you to her." Athena said, grabbing her axe and preparing her shadows.
"RAAAH!" Titan Cat screamed, summoning the four glyphs to float behind her!
The fire glyph moved to the center of her upper back, unleashing a jet stream of flames and shooting her forward! The plant glyph moved to her hand and made a thorn vine gauntlet around her hand.
Athena pulled up her axe and blocked the punch, but was pushed back as Titan Cat kept pushing!
'She's not stopping.' Athena thought, her feet dragging in the ground.
Titan Cat was enraged, never before has she been this mad.
'KILL! KILL! KILL! KILL!' Titan Cat thought, only wanting to kill Athena to avenge her mother and make her pay for the nightmares!
Creating another thorn vine gauntlet, Titan Cat delivered another strong punch to Athena.
Athena blocked it again but her axe creaked, being bent by strength behind her fists. But she wasn't going to give up as she finally stopped them.
"If you think I am going to-"
"WEH!" Titan Cat wehhed.
Athena was knocked back again.
Titan Cat enlarged the light glyph and moved it in front of her, firing a giant laser at Athena!
"Little shit!" Athena shouted, flipping and creating a giant husk!
"ROOOAH!" It roared until the light beam hit, burning it to dust.
From the dust, Athena rushed at Cat and swung her axe, but Cat simply bent back to avoid it.
"Puggs." Titan Cat said.
Forming in her hand, she aimed her palisman and unleashed a giant blast of magic!
Athena was hit full on, and it damaged her armor, so much so that some parts were gone.
'S-She's too powerful!' Athena thought, feeling multiple wounds leaking blood. 'I... I have to get out of here.'
Athena slammed the axe down, creating a black magic wave to release, giving her enough time to open a portal and rush through.
"No!" Fighter said, wanting to go after her.
Phoenix put a hand on her shoulder and stopped her. She motioned her head over Future Luz's body, where the others were. Titan Cat walked over and fell to her knees.
"Mama... Por favor... Por favor, despierte." She said, her anger gone.
She laid her head on Future Luz's chest, just hoping that it was a dream and she was alive... she wasn't. Titan Cat started crying again, and that's when Phoenix and Fighter walked over.
"You're a healer in this world, right?" Fighter asked.
Titan Cat looked up, giving a small nod. They kneeled down.
"You're part Titan, maybe if we combine your healing, Phoenix's healing, and my healing glyph... then this could... possibly... bring her back." Fighter said, gesturing to Future Luz.
Titan Cat looked at her mom's corpse and looked back at them.
"Let's do it." She said.
Fighter put her gloves back on, at least happy that the Healing and Construction glyphs still worked because they weren't the original ones. The three put a hand on Future Luz's heart. The red on Phoenix's arm moved to Future Luz, Fighter Luz's healing glyph activated, and Titan Cat used her Titan magic to increase all three of their healing abilities. A bright glow that could be seen miles away shined bright. When it died down they removed their hands from Future Luz's chest. Everyone waited with baited breath. After a minute... Future Luz opened her eyes and took a deep inhale. She sat up and looked around.
"W-w-what happened?" She asked before she was given a massive hug.
"Mami!" Titan Cat yelled, tears of joy streaming down her face, "You're alive!"
Future Luz put a hand on Cat's cheek and wiped the tears away. She smiled at her daughter.
"It's okay... Little Titan." Future Luz said, "I'm here... and so are you... told you you'd unlock your Titan Gene someday."
Fighter and Phoenix stood up and walked away. They had to get after Athena, unsure of what was going to happen with the head start she had. They sent one last look at the group, helping their president/friend up, before opening a portal and jumping through. Off they were... to the final dimension.
I think I'm going to take a break next week. It's the first family holiday since we had that death back in September and it's going to be a bit emotional... especially since it's going to be at the house that she died in. Follow, Favorite, and Review for more.
