"Maki-chan~ I know it's your first mission, but don't forget to bring back the cursed artifact, okay?~~" Satoru Gojo said, almost singing over the phone as the girl ran through the city in desperation, since the artifact wasn't where it was supposed to be.
"I know, I know, but it's not my fault it wasn't there... Hello? Hello?! Professor Gojo?!" Maki looked at the phone indignantly at the woman. "Did he just hang up on me?"
It wasn't the time to be angry at her idiotic teacher dela; she had to find the cursed object before curses started appearing after it.
No, no, no... not on her first mission. Things couldn't go wrong. She had to prove to those idiots from the Zen'in clan that she would be the strongest sorcerer, even if she couldn't use magic. And if this mission went wrong, they would use her clan's influence to prevent her from ranking up in the Jujutsu hierarchy.
"Where is this damn thing!" The woman shouted in frustration while gripping her spear. The Zen'in clan girl came to a fork in the road when something caught her attention.
Even with very little cursed energy, Maki had developed sharp senses to compensate for the lack of it. She sniffed the air, and an unpleasant smell entered her nostrils.
"Blood?" The girl propped the spear on her right shoulder and began to follow her scent.
She walked and saw drops of red and purple blood. Maki decided to follow the trail, leading her to a derailed train carriage, but the blood trail continued to intensify.
Maki twirled her spear and adopted a battle stance as she approached slowly. A voice of a woman asking for help caught the attention of the Zen'in girl.
"Help... Help... Monster..." Upon hearing this, Maki ran closer to the derailed carriage, stopping dead in her tracks as she saw what lay inside.
A curse that looked like a Lamia: the lower half of its body was a snake, and the upper half was a woman. But it had only one eye, and its back had a type of skeletal armor that resembled a smiling grin. The woman's face was obscured by her black hair, and she was crawling slowly, missing an arm, and trying to escape.
"Monster... Monster..." the curse whispered, trying to crawl and flee. Maki noticed a finger in a hole in the curse's back, but the sound of very slow footsteps caught the Zen'in girl attention.
A man slightly shorter than her, perhaps around 1.67, walked slowly while blood dripped from his body. He practically moved at a snail's pace, yet he managed to catch up to the curse. He had long black hair that looked like it hadn't been cut in months, his beard was starting to grow long, giving him an older appearance, and his body was muscular, making him look robust, not in an imposing way.
Large in terms of muscles, but he resembled a swimmer. The man was practically bathed in purple and red blood.
The curse's tail was pulled, leaving it desperate, "No, stop, I don't want to die…"
A punch struck the curse's head, catching Maki off guard. With the same hand that the man used to punch the curse, he grabbed its head and pulled it up into the air.
"Please..." The curse's head was cut off with a kitchen knife. Maki looked at the weapon the man was using and could not believe her eyes.
"He's using a kitchen knife?" How could a regular knife do this? Was there something special about the knife?
The curse began to disintegrate, leaving only a rotten, red finger on the ground. The man simply ignored the object and started walking to leave the scene, but his body started trembling, and his knees fell to the ground.
"I ... expected to die in a ... worse way ... I guess this is ... fine ..." The man said as his body collapsed to the ground. "I hoped... to stay... alive... long enough to... fulfill my promise..." The man's eyes were slowly closing, but before his vision became completely dark, he saw his black boots. .
"Damn it, hey, HEY! It's no use, he's unconscious, and he's bleeding heavily..." Maki looked at the finger on the ground and quickly picked it up, wrapping it in a paper with various Japanese inscriptions.
"I hope this is enough... now I have to take care of you..." The Zen'in girl put the man's arm over her shoulder to carry him. "What do I do now?!"
She looked at the man and saw him bleeding profusely, his eyes were open, which made Maki ask where he lived.
"Hey, where do you live? If you keep bleeding like this, you'll die..." She stopped talking when she realized that even though her eyes were open, the man was unconscious. Then she looked at him and then ahead.
"I can't take him to the hospital, these aren't ordinary injuries, what am I going to tell the doctor, that he was hit by a rocket?!" Maki spoke to herself. She looked at the man's torso and saw blood dripping. If it continued like this, he would die from hemorrhage.
The Zen'in girl sighed and began to carry the man, her uniform getting stained with blood.
"I'm going to be in big trouble for this... no doubt about it," the girl said as she carried the man.
"I hope I can make it in time," Maki said, looking at the man's face.
Cursed Artifact Search
-1-
"Hay~~~" Gojo exclaimed, taking a sip of her drink as he savored the smell of the meat on the grill.
"Be careful not to drool over the meat, Gojo. Remember, I want some too," the woman said with a smile as she delicately sipped her sake.
"What? Do you think I would do something so uncouth, MeiMei?" Gojo retorted with a feigned hurt expression.
"Yes, you're the kind of person who would do that," the woman said with her eyes closed. Gojo pouted in response to her comment.
"You're so mean," Gojo said, turning the meat with a studied pout on his cheeks, which made MeiMei laugh at her demeanor.
The sound of the door being burst open caught their attention in the room. When they turned their heads, they found a bloodied Maki carrying someone.
MeiMei and Gojo looked at each other and then at Maki, who was breathing heavily due to the absurd number of stairs she had climbed while carrying someone.
"Maki-chan, that's not what we asked for," Gojo said, grabbing a piece of meat and putting it in her mouth, while MeiMei simply took another sip of sake.
"CAN YOU TWO STOP AND HELP ME?!"
...
"So... in your search for the cursed object, this guy found it before you did?" MeiMei said, leaning against the wall as she looked at Maki.
Maki was sitting on the floor, wiping the blood off her face with a cloth.
"When I arrived, the curse was already practically dead. He must have fought against it. I can't tell what grade it was, as I wasn't there," the girl said, picking up an object wrapped in a seal. "Here, I think the seal managed to hold it off long enough."
The Zen'in girl handed the object to MeiMei, who took it and looked at it, then glanced at Gojo, who was using reverse energy to heal the man.
"What do you think, Gojo? Does he have cursed energy?... Gojo, are you listening?" MeiMei tried to get her attention from him but without success.
"He's a foreigner... and he has a handsome face... MeiMei, come take a look!" Gojo turned his head to look at the woman leaning against the wall. MeiMei blinked at the comment and began walking over to check.
"Oh, you're right, Gojo-chan. He does have a handsome face, a bit more robust than the Japanese standard," MeiMei said to the long-haired white-haired girl who was kneeling beside the man.
"I kind of like it," said the strongest sorcerer, turning her gaze back to the man.
Maki was practically expressionless with the two women in front of her. "I don't think this is the time to discuss that..."
"How odd... Maki-chan, you said he defeated the curse, right?" Gojo said, removing his blindfold and exposing one eye.
The Zen'in girl blinked at her teacher's change in demeanor, but she answered nonetheless. "Yes, he had already defeated it. Why? Do you think he's a sorcerer?"
"No, I don't think he is. I don't see any cursed energy in him," Gojo said, looking at the man lying on the ground, his right eye not detecting any cursed energy.
"If the curse had a finger of Sukuna, then at the very least, he could be of Special Grade..." Gojo whispered, covering her right eye again. The girl stood up from her kneeling position and placed her hand on her chin, her long white hair almost touching the ground.
"Wait?! You sent me to face a Special Grade curse, Professor?!" Maki shouted, throwing the bloodied cloth at the woman, but the cloth stopped in mid-air.
"How did he kill the curse, Maki-chan?" Gojo looked back at Maki, who blinked in surprise.
"He cut off its head with a knife," the girl said as she got up from the ground.
"A knife? Was it some kind of cursed weapon?" Gojo looked curious as her examined the man's face, but Maki just shook her head in denial.
"No, at least I didn't see any cursed energy on it. I think it was a kitchen knife..." Maki's words left Gojo and MeiMei puzzled.
"Oh my, this is unexpected. It's saying that our friend here killed the curse, without even using cursed energy or a cursed tool... Shoko would go crazy trying to dissect this..." MeiMei said, looking at the man curiously while turning the seal that held Sukuna's finger between her fingers.
Gojo thoughtfully kept her hand on the chin. MeiMei watched the girl and smiled.
"I know that expression, it means trouble, Gojo-chan," MeiMei said, observing the girl. It was an expression she knew all too well.
Trouble
"I have an idea!" The girl exclaimed, turning to the other two women in the room with a smile.
"I figured as much..." MeiMei said, closing her eyes with a smile on her face. Maki just looked at the two women, feeling confused.
"I'm not liking the sound of this..." Maki said worriedly. The Zen'in girl noticed the man's eyes opening, and it seemed MeiMei noticed too.
"It looks like our guest is awake," MeiMei pointed out, beckoning the attention of Gojo. The woman turned around and crouched down near the man lying on the floor.
As he opened his eyes, the man found himself facing a woman with white hair dressed in black, with a blindfold covering her eyes.
"Hello, you're finally awake, handsome~" Gojo said with a smile, but the sorceress was caught off guard by something.
Punch
Gojo took a punch to the face, which made her fall on her back and roll towards MeiMei, who lazily used her boot to stop Gojo.
"A bit violent, don't you think?" MeiMei said, her arms crossed beneath the breasts, her boot pressed against Gojo butt to prevent from rolling further.
"Who... are you guys...?" The man was breathing heavily as he held onto his stomach. The girls in the room noticed that the man's Japanese was... robust, with a noticeable accent. Clearly, he was proficient in the language, but his pronunciation left something to be desired.
"Hey, take it easy, do not move too much, your wounds will reopen," Maki said, approaching the man and placing her hand on his shoulder, gently pushing him to sit up.
The man blinked and looked at her body, covered in scars and dried blood.
"You have quite a lot of energy for someone who was on the brink of death," the man looked at the white-haired woman with a single braid in front of her left side. The woman had a smile on the face, clearly enjoying the situation.
"You're quite ungrateful, you know!" Gojo stood up while rubbing her chin, "hitting someone as adorable as me."
The woman was wearing a blindfold and a black coat, along with a very short skirt. She rubbed her chin due to the punch.
"I'm sorry, I was just a bit startled to wake up here," the man apologized, making the woman smile.
"Don't worry about it, I've taken worse hits," the woman waved her hand up and down in a dismissive gesture while smiling. It was as if nothing had happened just a few minutes ago, which made MeiMei smile and Maki sweat a bit.
"Could you tell me where I am?" The comment caught everyone's attention. Maki and MeiMei wondered if Gojo would lie or...
"You're at Jujutsu School, the place we use for training in sorcery and curses," Gojo revealed without a care in the world.
"Teacher! You shouldn't reveal that so easily," Gojo turned her head and smiled at the girl.
"Don't worry, Maki-chan. I said I have a plan!" The teacher's smile made Maki ease up even more, while MeiMei just shrugged lazily.
"That smile means trouble, Gojo-chan," upon hearing MeiMei's words, Gojo let out a sound of displeasure.
"Hey! Where's the trust, Mei-chan!" The girl exclaimed indignantly, MeiMei just smiled, leaving Gojo frustrated.
Maki was looking at them, pondering how these two were the strongest sorcerers...
The man put his hand to his chin of his thoughtfully, "Curse... so that's what that thing is called."
The man's comment caught Maki's attention from her, and she stared at him, which made him look back at her.
"Aren't you surprised by the revealed information?" The man blinked at the comment, MeiMei and Gojo looked at the two conversing.
"Well, being surprised or not, does it change anything? Besides, I'm already used to strange things happening," said the man, making the girl blink, not expecting that kind of answer. The man looked tired and wistful when he answered.
"What makes me curious is... why are you revealing this information to me?" The man sat down in a more comfortable position.
A smile appeared on Gojo's face when she heard what the man said, a bead of sweat fell from Maki's face as she saw her teacher's smile at her, while MeiMei just sighed at the woman's attitude at her.
"So, handsome... how about we make a deal?" said the woman with a smile as she knelt in front of the man.
-1-
"YOU DAMN ALBINO, LET ME GO!" The man shouted as he struggled to free himself from the restraints that were fastened to the ground. He was trapped in the practice area where students trained – not too big, but not too small either.
"Professor Gojo, I don't think he's happy," Maki said, a bit concerned, standing beside her teacher, watching the man thrash around in an attempt to escape.
"Hey, it's not my fault he declined! He was supposed to accept!" The girl with the blindfold waved her hand in front of Maki's face as she spoke.
"Wait, your idea of a plan was to invite him to the school, but you didn't have a plan if he didn't agree?!" Nervously, Maki confronted her teacher about her foolish plan.
The sound of laughter drew the attention of the two girls. Turning their heads, they saw MeiMei sitting and observing the chaos. The woman stood up and walked slowly, passing by the two of them, and approached the man.
MeiMei simply knelt near the man and looked him in the eyes. The man blinked at the woman's demeanor.
"Listen, you're not in a good situation here. Regular people don't know about the Jujutsu society and curses. So, you have two choices: accept the proposal or be executed. What do you say?" MeiMei locked eyes with the man, who just stared back.
"If I had known I would have these choices, I'd have preferred you'd left me there to die..." The man muttered softly, causing MeiMei to smile.
"But you're here now, so choose, 'handsome'," MeiMei gazed at the man with her one free eye, the other obscured by her hair falling forward.
In a situation like this, he's only going to have one choice, as usual, I'll have to deal with your foolish actions, Gojo-chan...
...
"I decline," the words left MeiMei's mouth, her jaw dropping in surprise as she fell back on her rear from the man's response. Maki and Gojo simply started with disbelief.
"D-did you hear what your options are?!" MeiMei said, getting up from the floor to face the bound man, but the response remained the same.
"I heard, so if that's it, just kill me already," the response caused MeiMei to fall back on the ground again, and Maki and Gojo's mouths to widen further in disbelief.
"Y-you…" MeiMei said, her cheeks red with anger, but Maki stopped her.
"Calm down, MeiMei-san. We can't kill people who aren't involved with Jujutsu; our job as sorcerers is to protect them, not harm them," Maki said, moving MeiMei away from the bound man.
"It seems the bluff didn't work, MeiMei-chan. Let me handle this," Gojo said, pushing the woman away to avoid anything further.
Gojo knelt near the man and looked into his face; the man stared back.
"You know…wait, I don't think we've introduced ourselves. I'm Satoru Gojo, the strongest sorcerer in the world," the blindfolded woman said with an eccentric smile. Maki and MeiMei simply exchanged a disappointed look; humility was n't one of Gojo's qualities.
But the man continued to gauze at her with a stern expression.
"Come on, it's rude not to introduce yourself when someone else already has," Gojo said, laughing nervously as the man continued to stare for a few moments, but he eventually sighed in defeat, realizing he wasn't getting out of that situation anytime soon.
"I'm Johnathan, the tied-up man," Gojo winced at the response; it was clear the man was being sarcastic and ironic. Laughter caught Gojo and Johnathan's attention; turning their heads, it was Maki with her hand over her mouth trying to suppress a smile.
"What? It was funny..." Maki shrunk a bit when she saw the man narrow his eyes, staring at her. "I'm sorry…"
"Sometimes I forget how young you are, Maki-chan," Gojo said, her hand over her mouth as she laughed.
"Hey!" Maki retorted indignantly. She was already 16 years old; it was time for people to take her seriously!
Gojo felt someone's gauze on her, and when she turned, she saw Jonathan looking at her with anger.
"What's the point of all this, Satoru Gojo?" The woman blinked at her man's response, and MeiMei simply crossed her arms.
"Straight to the point..." MeiMei remarked as she observed the man.
Gojo paused for a moment and then asked, "Can you see curses, Jonathan-san? Touch them?"
The man raised an eyebrow at Gojo, wondering where she was going with this...
"Yes, I can see them and touch them. Ever since I arrived in Japan," Jonathan replied. Gojo briefly opened and closed her mouth. MeiMei raised an eyebrow since people without cursed energy couldn't touch curses.
Maki blinked as she looked at the man's face in a daze. She was born with very little cursed energy and she needed special glasses and weapons to deal with curses. The Zen'in girl wondered if she could touch curses too, someday...
"Jonathan-san, what you have is quite unique. People can't touch curses. And, as Maki-chan mentioned, you must have exorcized a special grade curse," Gojo spoke to the man as if seeing through her blindfold dela .
"Well, that thing attacked me while I was sleeping... tsk, my whole house was destroyed," Jonathan grumbled as he remembered the event. Gojo observed his man's expression, then decided to take action.
Gojo clapped her hands in front of Jonathan's face while looking down. The man looked surprised at the woman before him.
"Please, Jonathan-san. There aren't many Jujutsu sorcerers, and curses and training sorcerers take time... So, Jonathan-san, please accept the request," Gojo said, continuing to look at the ground as the man blinked in surprise.
Maki and MeiMei blinked in surprise as well, never imagining Gojo would act so responsibly. Normally, the woman seemed not to take anything seriously, so seeing her like this was strange...
However…
"I refuse!" A vein popped on Gojo's forehead at the man's words. The blindfolded woman stood up and pointed two fingers at him as if they were a gun.
"You little..." Gojo couldn't finish her sentence as Maki jumped at her, knocking her down to the ground.
"No, you can't do this, sensei!" Maki said while jumping and holding onto Gojo's torso.
MeiMei smiled at Gojo's reaction. In the end, patience was n't one of the blindfolded woman's strong qualities.
But the man responded to Gojo's threat, which caught everyone's attention.
"Untie me, then we'll see what happens..." Both Maki and MeiMei had their mouths hanging open at the man's words, while Gojo had a huge grin on her face.
"Oh... no..." Maki said worriedly, looking at Gojo and then at Jonathan. This wasn't going to end well...
"Oh~~ I'm curious. What will happen?" Gojo said, getting up from the ground and looking at the man through her blindfold.
"How about we make a deal?" Gojo knelt down next to the man with a smile on her face. The man simply raised an eyebrow at her.
"And why would I do that?" Jonathan said, making Gojo smile even more.
"Well, I think you'll like it," Gojo said with a grin to the man who was staring at her, "it's not like you have much choice anyway."
The man heard the woman's words from her in front of him and sighed in defeat, "Fine, tell me what it is..."
"Here's the deal. I'll untie you, and then we'll fight. If you win, we'll let you go without any problems. But if I win, you join the Jujutsu school. How about that, 'Handsome' ?" Upon hearing Gojo's proposal, Maki grew worried. If the two of them fought, the chances of Gojo accidentally killing the man were high...
"Sensei! I don't think..." The man responded to Gojo's proposal.
"I accept..." he said, cutting off Maki, and MeiMei just smiled and walked slowly to sit down.
"Little Maki, there's not much you can do to stop it, so just sit back and wait," MeiMei said. Maki looked at MeiMei and then at Gojo.
"But..." Gojo turned to her student and gave her a thumbs-up as a sign of approval.
"Don't worry, Maki-chan. It'll be over quickly!" Gojo reassured the worried Zenin girl, making her even more anxious.
Gojo stood up and pointed two fingers like a gun at the restraints and "fired," freeing the man.
Jonathan got to his feet, rubbing his wrists. He stretched his body while massaging his neck. As he did, Gojo noticed that her physique was well-developed, reminding her of someone. It took her back to the time when she was 15 and on an escort mission...
"These are the rules. If you hit me, you can leave, but if I hit you, you stay, okay?" Gojo said with her finger in front of her mouth, smiling as she looked at Jonathan through her blindfold.
The man simply stared at her with unwavering focus.
The wind rustled Gojo's long hair as they stood there, locked in a staring contest. It was silent until a leaf fell to the ground, at which point Gojo simply vanished.
However, to everyone's surprise, when Gojo reappeared in front of the man, something unexpected happened. Gojo's punch was blocked near Jonathan's face.
Wide eyes were on display from everyone; if not for the blindfold's slit, Maki and MeiMei might have seen the surprise in Gojo's eyes as well.
In the blink of an eye, Jonathan unleashed a barrage of punches that forced Gojo to redirect each blow. Jonathan spun his body while striking, finally delivering a kick.
Gojo blocked and redirected the blows, and when the kick came, she was forced to use her flexibility to the point where her head almost touched the ground. She used her hand to push herself into the air and return to a neutral stance.
Something was wrong. Gojo looked at the palms of her hands and noticed they were reddened, as if she could n't restructure the molecules to minimize the damage. Her hands were numb and trembling.
Looking back up, she saw that Jonathan had closed the distance, but instead of retreating, Gojo chose to attack. She redirected the man's strike, causing it to hit the air while she turned her back to him.
Gojo spun around and delivered a strike with the back of her hand, but the blow was caught. Before Gojo realized it, she was upside down on the ground with the man holding her arm.
Gojo's eyes widened again as the punch came, but she thought quickly and delivered two knee strikes, forcing the man to halt the punch and use the palm of his hand to block the consecutive blows. Gojo seized the opportunity and spun her body like a breakdancer, causing the man to retreat.
Gojo assumed a neutral stance while the man stood in what appeared to be a traditional karate pose, perhaps Kyokushin...
Maki and MeiMei blinked in surprise.
"This is unexpected..." MeiMei commented, and Maki nodded in agreement.
Then something unexpected happened. Gojo removed her blindfold from her and coughed it to the ground. If the fight continued like this, she would be hit before him.
"Wow, Jonathan-San. I did n't expect this from you, truly not holding back even though I'm a girl," Gojo said, but the man only tightened his fists in his stance, anticipating any action from her .
Gojo noticed the man's unwavering focus on her, so she simply advanced.
She delivered a rapid series of open-handed slaps and backhand strikes at an incredible speed, but the man redirected her blows. Deciding to mix punches in between her slap strikes, Gojo found that it did n't change the outcome much; the man skillfully deflected her strikes away from her body.
Gojo unleashed a barrage of five punches to the man's chest in a machine-gun-like rhythm, but once again, the man changed the trajectory of the blows.
Deciding to aim a kick at the man's head, Gojo's kick was intercepted by Jonathan's kick, leaving both of their legs entangled with each other, while their free legs held the weight of their bodies.
Gojo gazed into the man's eyes, and her own eyes widened at what she saw — something emptiness…
Void
Gojo initiated a series of kicks, which Jonathan responded to with identical kicks, creating a mimicry of moves.
Gojo disconnected and spun her body, delivering punches and slaps with the palm and back of her hand. She punched, slapped, and weaved, engaging Jonathan, who mirrored her movements. After a while, the man decided to stop punching and adopted Gojo's method della, using palm strikes and backhand strikes, as it proved faster than punches.
The two exchanged punches at a speed that was becoming difficult to follow, their arms blurring as they delivered strikes.
Then, it finally happened...
Gojo's palm struck Jonathan's face from her, but she had to turn her head at the last second, narrowly avoiding his backhand from her hitting her cheek.
Jonathan spun, attempting to regain his balance until he finally steadied himself. He turned his face slowly, revealing his right cheek now red.
Gojo's chest rose and fell, her breath labored. She looked at the man, who returned her gauze with a scowl.
She smiled at him, her deep blue eyes practically glowing in the darkness of the night.
"Do n't be a sore loser... give me a minute to catch my breath," Gojo said, placing her hands on her knees while her chest continued to rise and fall.
"Tsk," was all the man said, practically a muttered sound. Gojo and Jonathan heard the sound of clapping hands.
"Seems like you two put on a show. But I wonder if you're going to honor the agreement, Jonathan-San," MeiMei said, standing up and crossing her arms beneath her breasts.
The man maintained his scowl, but he sighed in defeat, rubbing his sore cheek at her. "I'm a man of my word. I'll join your... cult."
MeiMei and Gojo blinked at his words.
"Hey, it's not a cult... although now that I think about it, it does kind of sound like a cult," Gojo remarked beside the man. Jonathan noted that the woman was quite tall compared to him, probably around 6'1". Gojo turned her head to look at him with her deep blue eyes, and for some reason, she smiled. The man didn't like that smile. ..
"Ah~~ I'm taller than you, look at that..." Gojo ruffled the man's hair, quickly dodging to avoid the punch he threw.
"Sorry, sorry. It's kind of cute," Gojo said, turning her head and seeing Maki behind the man, her eyes shining with admiration.
Jonathan turned and saw the girl staring at him with a massive smile, in fact, she was a bit too close...
"That was so cool, Jonathan-Senpai!" Maki shouted, causing the man to raise an eyebrow, and for some reason, he felt like the girl would be a handful.
"I've never seen someone punch so fast. It was so cool! Can we practice together?" The girl grabbed the man's hand and practically bounced up and down with excitement, which left him quite uncomfortable.
"Maki-chan, I was fighting too, you know. Aren't you going to say how cool I am?" Gojo said, pointing to herself. Maki simply ignored her Gojo's words.
MeiMei stood beside Gojo, chuckling softly with her hand over her mouth.
"Looks like you've got yourself an admirer, Jonathan-San," MeiMei commented. The man turned his head to MeiMei so quickly it seemed like his neck might break.
"What?!" Jonathan exclaimed, clearly surprised.
"Well, well, you'd better get along with your underclassman from now on. Jonathan, welcome to the Jujutsu school," Gojo said as she pat the man's neck.
The woman looked at the man, her deep blue eyes locking onto her dark brown ones.
"Welcome aboard, Jonathan," Gojo said with a smile, the moonlight catching her white hair and making it seem to shimmer. The man blinked at the sight. His attention was pulled back by Maki, who was still gripping his hand.
Jonathan looked at Maki and then at Gojo.
"I guess I signed up for this..." he muttered in a tired voice.
MeiMei observed the interactions of the small group and smiled as she looked up at the moon.
"Things just got interesting..."
-A-
Author,
In this universe, I decided to do a gender swap for Gojo, and one of the reasons is due to the abundance of fan art portraying Gojo as a woman.
However, if you come across anything you didn't like or liked in the work, please let me know. Constructive feedback is valuable.
I hope you enjoy the chapter.
