(A/N) Yeah, I'm just gonna jump past Edward and Nathaniel meeting up in this world. It's been giving me a strange case of writer's block.

After Peter got Mayday to school, just almost missed the bell by the time they made it. Of course, Peter also had to drag Giselle along when Strange refused to pick up the phone. Going to his place wasn't exactly a good idea as he wasn't sure what he would be in for. And if she were from another universe, Peter had a feeling somehow Strange could find her if she was indeed from another world. But he couldn't do this anymore.

In the last twenty-four hours, he had to catch a woman in a wedding dress, then tried to help her out. But all that did was bring more terrible things to his doorway. Liz now thinks he's cheating on her, which is something he needed to fix up later. His apartment was filled to the brink with animals and rodents.

If there were anyone that saw that, he could risk losing Mayday. And that would be something he just couldn't handle after everything he already lost.

"I try to be nice," Peter muttered to himself as he walked past the Bugle, which was his next stop. "And, just like everything else, I am severely punished for it." He then stopped right outside the Bugle and eyed Giselle. "Look, Giselle, I can't help you anymore, okay?"

"What?" Giselle seemed to be confused by what he meant.

Peter however doesn't explain as he just took a few dollar bills he had in his pocket and hands them to her. "Look, just take this money. Find your prince. I just...I can't help you anymore. I'm sorry."

Giselle took the crunched-up dollar bills and looked up at Peter. "Peter. I'm so sorry. You have been a very kind friend to me when I had none. And I would never want to make you unhappy or cause you any trouble, so...I'll go." Peter appreciated how well she was taking this. "I wish you ever happiness."

Peter wondered if this was the right decision, watching Giselle stroll off and make her way into Central Park. He looked over to the Bugle, knowing he needed to get in there before he gets yelled at by Jameson. But as he began to walk over to the door, he overheard Giselle and watch her hand her money to a stranger for bird food. Well, that was longer than he would have thought and he decided to quickly get her back.

"Have you seen my prince?" Giselle asks the man with the bird seed.

"I...I saw a prince today." The old man, Stan, confirmed as Peter approached. "He attacked my bus!"

"Giselle? What are you doing?" Peter asks her in confusion.

Giselle however just ended up lighting up when she saw he came back. "Peter! This is Stan. He saw Edward."

"Oh. Did he?" Peter asks, not having much faith in Stan.

"He definitely was on the bus this morning." Stan confirmed, "He tried to kill me!"

"That's great, Stan. Wonderful." Peter said as he dragged Giselle away slowly. "Thank you."

"Oh!" Giselle was a little confused about what was happening since she thought that Peter wanted her to leave.

"What are you thinking?" Peter asks her in confusion. "You can't just give people money."

"You gave me money." Giselle was trying to understand.

Peter saw that was a little confusing for someone like her. "Okay...well, that's not the point."

"And he was very helpful." Giselle defended.

Peter sighed and knew that this was going to be a long day. "So, what's the deal, this prince of yours anyway?" He was curious about the relationship she has with this prince. "How long have you two been together?"

"Oh, about a day." Giselle immediately looked at the sky in a dreamlike manner.

Peter was however a little confused and a little concerned about the idea. "Uh, you mean that it feels like it's only been a day because you're so much in love, right?"

"No, I only met him yesterday." Giselle bashed Peter's hope for that metaphor. "And tomorrow will be two days."

Peter was now seriously concerned about this girl. "Uh, you're kidding. Right? I mean, what do you really know about this guy that you're marrying him one day after knowing him?"

"Oh!" Giselle was distracted by a performer in a strange costume wandering down the path.

"I just don't understand." Peter tried to get her back on topic.

"Well, I know what's in his heart," Giselle said.

Peter only saw he wasn't getting anywhere and sighed. "Oh, great. Thanks for clearing that up."

"What about you?" Giselle wonders, confusing Peter. "How long have you known your Liz?"

"Me and Liz?" Peter clarified, watching her nod that's what she meant. "Well, we have been dating for the past three years."

Giselle seemed to be the one who was surprised by that statement this time. "And you haven't proposed?

"Well..." Peter couldn't believe he was trying to defend himself now. "...I mean...it's complicated."

"Well, no wonder she's angry." Giselle seemed to be taking Liz's side, not entirely understanding why she was angry.

That was when Nathaniel appeared and held out one of the poisonous apples he had just recently been given by Narissa. It was a little of a cliche fairytale trope, but it seemed to work effectively in the past.

"Hello, nice lady." Nathaniel was hiding while using a fake accent (what accent is anyone's guess). "You want a sweet caramel apple, maybe?"

Peter felt his spider senses go off and was concerned something was about to happen and looked around. But as he continued to look around, Giselle took the apple in hand Nathaniel promising that it was free. Peter then moved Giselle along as he didn't want her to come to harm if something was coming. Pip was trying to escape him every second that he was taking, but the two walked away before he could warn them the apple was poisoned.

"You know, most normal people get to know each other before they get married," Peter informed Giselle, who didn't seem to grasp the concept. "You know, they...well, date.

"Date?" Giselle didn't seem to understand the word.

"Yeah. You know, date." Peter tried his best to explain it to her. "You go someplace special. You know, like a restaurant, or a movie, a museum. Or you just hang out and talk."

"What do you talk about?" Giselle wonders.

Peter kept looking around and wondering why his senses were still alerting him. "About each other. About yourself. About your interests. Your likes, your dislikes." Giselle started to laugh and Peter couldn't help but join her. "You talk!"

"You have such strange ideas about love," Giselle told him.

"Yeah, well, maybe we should do what you would do." Peter joked as he calmed down. "You meet, have lunch, and get married."

"Oh! You forgot about happily ever after." Giselle informed him.

Peter however scoffed at that motion and dismissed it. "Forget happily ever after. It doesn't exist."

"Well, of course, it does!" Giselle seemed offended by that and tossed the apple by accident.

Peter ended up realizing his senses calmed down and figured the apple must have been "bad". He didn't seem to think much of it and looked back to Giselle. "I hate to disagree, but reality doesn't work like that. Happily ever after. That's only something that exists in movies or fairy tales."

"Well, what about you and Liz?" Giselle wonders. "You know that you will live happily ever after. Right?"

"Well, as of now, I don't even know if I'll be able to make it through today," Peter admitted, referring to both the idea of Liz and their argument and the fact he's a hero. "Let alone a lifetime."

That was also one of his major concerns about continuing to be Spider-Man with Mayday. One of these days, he is going to go against someone stronger or more powerful than him, and Mayday will be left with no one. He needed someone he knew would take care of her and raise her right. He wished he could give up being Spider-Man, but this city needs him too much and he wants Mayday to live without the threat of a supernatural being coming and attacking them.

"That's what I'm trying to tell you." Peter got back on topic with Giselle. "It's complicated. But it doesn't have to be."

"Not if she knows." Giselle tried to make him see her side.

"Knows what?" Peter questioned, not following.

"How much you really love her."

"Of course she does," Peter assured her. "We just don't talk about it every minute of the day, but she knows."

"How?" Giselle questions.

"What do you mean, how?" Peter wasn't following.

"How does she know you love her?" Giselle suddenly started to sing, seriously confusing him.

"Why are you singing?" Peter asks her.

"How does she know she's yours?" Giselle kept singing.

"Please, I'm begging you, stop." Peter started pleading with her. "People are looking." He then pushed her along. "Let's just keep walking."

"Well, does she?" Giselle gave up on singing.

"Of course," Peter assured her.

"How does she know that you love her?" A street performer asks with his band.

"Oh!" Giselle seemed to get back into it. "How do you show her you love her?"

"He knows this song?" Peter was confused.

"How does she know that you really, really, truly love her?" The band and Giselle start singing together. "How does she know that you love her? How do you show her you love her?

"Okay, what is this?" Peter questions in complete shock. "I've never heard this song before."

"How does she know that you really, really, truly love her?"

"Okay, can we go now?" Peter asks as he gestured for Giselle to follow him along.

"It's not enough to take the one you love for granted." Giselle continued to sing as they crossed the bridge. The band followed them the entire way. "You must remind her or she'll be inclined to say."

"How do I know he loves me?" Giselle sang as she ran across the fields while swinging her arms around. "How do I know he's mine?"

Giselle then sits with a few elderly men and with sketch artists across from some elderly women. "Well, does he leave a little note to tell you You are on his mind?" She then took a sketch pad and wrote "you are adorable" on it and faced it to the women. That seemed to get all of their attention and they gasps and the men stood. "Send you yellow flowers when the sky is gray?"

Then the men pulled flowers out of their jackets and got up.

"He'll find a new way to show you A little bit every day." Giselle kept going as the two started to get with each other and dance. "That's how you know. That's how you know he is your love!"

Peter just stood there and watched them in utter shock aw Giselle approached him. "See?"

"Oh, I've seen quite enough of...this." Peter didn't even know how to describe it. "Come on, guys, you're New Yorkers. Act like it."

They passed a stand that showed Stark was hosting a party at the Avengers Tower. It was sort of a farewell as the Avengers were working on moving to a mansion they made for themselves and their families. It was a place where they didn't need to worry much about everyday events and could even live with their families. Peter also got an invite to the event since Stark knew it would mean a big payday if he could convince Jameson that he was there on business.

"Oh, a ball?" Giselle asked in surprise.

"Yeah," Peter confirmed.

"That would be fun," Giselle said as they were drawing a crowd.

"That won't be fun." Peter was a little distracted by the drawing crowd.

"You got to show her you need her." The band kept singing with backup singing from a mariachi band. They were rowing down the river, with Peter a little confused about how he agreed to this. "Don't treat her like a mind reader. Each day do something to lead her to believe you love her."

Giselle was now wandering down a row of brides and grooms down the park. "Everybody wants to live happily ever after. Everybody wants to know their true love is true." Then the brides and grooms started to dance around, getting Peter really concerned about what was happening."How do you know he loves you? How do you know he's yours?"

Giselle was standing as everyone was holding up flower beds as she spun around. "Well, does he take you out dancing just so he can hold you close?"

"I'm not much of a dancer," Peter admitted.

Dedicate a song with words meant just for you?" Giselle asks. "Ooh."

"I don't sing," Peter admitted.

"He'll find his own way to tell you. With the little things he'll do." Giselle danced down the street with the brides and grooms following swiftly, causing Peter to move a little faster.

"That's how you know." Then Giselle and a little girl doing a play of Rapunzel in the park sang. "That's how you know he's your love. He's your love."

Edward was still searching around the place when he suddenly heard Giselle's unmistakably remarkable voice. "He's your love..."

"Giselle!" Edward then jumped from the bridge and onto the ground. Missing the bicyclists coming at him. "I've been dreaming-"

Then he was immediately pummeled by the dozen of cyclists.

Giselle called out some birds as she was holding a heart of flowers. "Take these to Liz, please."

"They're birds, they aren't going to know where she is." Peter didn't have any real faith in birds.

Then the birds flew off and Giselle went back into the music. "That's how you know he loves you! That's how you know it's true!" Peter couldn't believe he was watching an entire performance of construction workers doing acrobatic stunts in the street. "Because he'll wear your favorite color just so he can match your eyes! Rent a private picnic by the fire's glow. Ohh. His heart will be yours forever. Something every day will show. That's how you know. That's how you know."

"That's how you know. That's how you know." Everyone starts to sing along with her, Peter still watching everything. "That's how you know. That's how you know he's your love. That's how she knows that you love her. That's how you show her you love her."

"That's how you know."

"You've got to show her you need her. Don't treat her like a mind reader! That's how you know. That's how she knows that you love her. That's how you know that you love her. It's not enough to take the one you love for granted. He's your love!"

Then Peter watched as everyone started to scatter like nothing even happened. His phone then started to ring and he saw it was Liz. Answering it, he was shocked when he learned it was to say thank you for the flowers.

"Wait, you actually got them?" Peter was shocked to hear. "Well...you're not gonna believe how my day has been going."

(A/N) If you're wondering, Spidey will be swinging into action in the next chapter! I promise you that!
