He slowly woke up and it's like deja vu. The same hospital room, the same door. He heard something ruffling on his side and weakly turned his head. He noticed a nurse putting some flowers in a pot. She noticed Khonshu is up now and smiled as she greeted him. "Oh, you're finally awake! I'll get Doctor Arnold in here." She said and daintily left the room. Khonshu looks at the bedside with a frown, there's a cheap vase with some white roses.

Too white, He thought.

Outside the door, Arnie just arrived with the Nurse with him. "Looks like Sleeping Beauty is awake now." She told him earlier. Arnie chuckles internally at the nickname the other nurses gave the boy. He whispered something to the nurse for a second before he opened the door. Inside he can see his patient awake and have his usual scowl, if only the nurses can see this. The boy has this scowl that makes him anything but pretty,

"I would usually congratulate you for finally being awake, but the fact that I got a call at 3 in a morning is giving me more trouble than what is worth." he said. Arnie just shook his head and moved to sit beside the hospital bed.

"Still, I am glad to see you finally up. Your lucky the janitor found you in the parking lot and took you to the E.R." he said. Arnie then moved to touch Khonshu's forehead with the back of his hand. He helped Khonshu sit up and started to do a small check-up.

"You were asleep for a week by the way. Cons" he said once he is done, returning to sit down.

Khonshu froze for a minute upon hearing his old nickname.

"Cons? Constantine? Are you still with me?" Arnie asked.

Khonshu now remembered he is using Constantine as his name for now, he is now annoyed that it sounds way too close to his actual name. He quickly replied, "I'm fine, just a bit dizzy. You said that I was asleep for a week?"

"Besides your 3-month coma, you seem to keep sleeping every time you come through the E.R. I hope this won't be a recurring thing with you" he said. The kid just frowns even more, making him look even older if possible.

Arnie admits that the boy has a pretty face, if he is asleep. Once the nurses cleaned it of blood and filth the first time, they said that the kid had this serene glow. Though that serene look is immediately demolished the moment the boy woke up and started talking, replaced with an unattractive scowl and a haughty attitude that would turn anyone off. The boy also has this piercing stare that makes you feel like he is trying to look at your soul. Arnie got used to it after multiple meetings.

He decided to be more serious now. "The morning the janitor found you. I immediately got hold of the surveillance footage." He spoke.

Khonshu knows he will have to explain this, he forgot that his chase in the halls were recorded. The boy god is tense now as Arnie continued, "What was that, thing, chasing you? The footage is abnormally glitchy and keeps scrambling whenever it comes on screen."

"Glitchy?" Khonshu asked, a bit more intrigued now. He wonders just what did the camera's record

"How about I just show you? It's much easier if you saw this one yourself". Arnie pulled out his smartphone and did some swipes on it. He then turned it around to show the screen to the boy.

Khonshu watched as the screen showed a slightly grainy video of the hallway. The perspective is obvious that the camera is from a high angle, showing most of the hallway and the room doors. The first few seconds are just silence, with the hallway bright and still. Khonshu checks the time on the video and it is shown to be 1:45 am. Then, the hallway lights started flickering, almost randomly and at high speed before it stilled. After a few seconds one troffer started flickering, slower this time so there is a second interval between each flicker. But Khonshu can see a figure in white standing in the shadows every time, and suddenly disappears when the lights go on. Then the next troffer flickers, and the same figure appears under that. And the next, and the next until it stops at one close to a door. Khonshu knows that it is his hospital room. Then the video started glitching. Once it got back to normal, Khonshu can see himself running out of his hospital room, a white figure is seen running out but the video glitched again after 5 seconds.

Arnie then pulled back the phone and did more swipes. Switching the video to the one showing the south parking lot.

The video cuts to two figures falling from the 3rd floor window, Khonshu can see himself land on top of the figure, which he knows is the zombie. Then the video starts to glitch uncontrollably, preventing anyone from seeing what really happened. For a short second between the glitches, Khonshu saw an odd shape appear. Vague in the shape of a bird skull. But it was so fast, he had to blink again to make sure he really saw it, then the video suddenly went black. Khonshu looked up at the doctor but Arnie shook his head.

"Wait for it…" he said.

The video suddenly went full white now, way too bright for his eyes. Then it glitched again and returned back to the normal CCTV video of the parking lot, but Khonshu can see himself laying on the ground. The mysterious figure is nowhere in sight. But Khonshu's unconscious figure is surrounded with black shadows. Then a man, Khonshu suspects is the janitor, is seen walking towards the sleeping boy, the shadows disperse when the janitor comes closer.

"I already know about the fake nurse that tried to kill you, but this is getting out of hand. What do you think this is? A ghost or some magic sorcerer?" Arnie asked after he stopped the video and pocketed his phone.

Khonshu decided to go with the former, since technically, the Zombie is dead. "It's a ghost, well, someone who is supposed to be dead but ordered by someone to kill me." He can't exactly tell them who sent it, but a separate group already wants him dead so it shouldn't matter.

How are you going to explain that the one who wants you dead, is yourself . Ignoring the technicalities and the multiverse crap because even Khonshu gets confused trying to understand how this works.

Arnie took a deep breath, and rubbed his face with his palm. "What have you gotten yourself into kid." He said, sounding exhausted. He is tired since he got up at 3 am and find a way to get all the nurses to keep a tight lid on this. But he is still now worried about his patient, who is the target of an assassination attempt twice in a row, and survived.

"How the hell did you survive the ghost?" He asked.

"I killed it" he said casually like it is common sense.

"What?" Arnie said. "And what are those shadows in the end of the video? Please tell me they are not demons" He asked.

Khonshu shook his head, deciding to answer the last question first. "They are not demons, I assure you. They are the souls of the deceased."

Arnie froze. "Souls? As in, dead people?" He asked.

"Yes", Khonshu said matter-of-factly, "This is a hospital doctor, people do die here. And when they do, sometimes they don't want to leave just yet, have some unfinished business, or intense regrets that preventing them from finding peace." He explains.

Arnie didn't say anything, "Be honest Constantine, can you see them now?" He demanded. The doctor is now abit tense but he didn't look to surprised. He does not exactly believe in ghosts, not the same way movies portray them. He just acknowledges the existence of the supernatural. But he is not lying when watching the security footage of that night gives him the creeps. It's like watching the beginning of a found footage horror film.

Khonshu thought about what to say and settled for "No." Arnie's eyes squinted and stared at the boy on the bed, feeling that he is hiding something. A second later Khonshu finally admitted, "Not now, they become visible after sunset."

"You were always able to see souls from the start?" Arnie asked. It sounds disturbing that his patient was staying here for weeks while seeing the ghost of the dead patients the whole time.

"No, this is, actually a recent thing, very recent." he said.

"How recent?" Arnie asked. Khonshu closed his eyes for a while, he clearly does not want to explain this right now but then there are a lot of things he doesn't want to explain. But he admitted that the shadows started appearing when he spent the night in the Morgue Director's office.

"It gotten worse after that." Khonshu said. Arnie now remembered that he found the boy sitting up that morning, as if he never got enough sleep. The doctor now realized that Constantine was stuck right next to a room with a lot of dead bodies. Arnie never liked staying in the Morgue too long since he started working in the hospital. While his friend, the Director got so used to it, Arnie always has this creepy feeling there.

"Okay, so ignoring the ghosts, which you should have told me. Is your attacker also one?" Arnie asked. He noticed that Constantine didn't answer the first question.

"...Sort of. Technically, it is dead like a ghost. But would be more accurately an undead, or a zombie in modern terms." Khonshu said. He is trying to keep the explanation as simple as possible, internally he is hoping that Arnie would not notice the white cloak, or point out it's odd similarities to a certain white clad vigilante and the cult. But the doctor didn't seem to notice that one detail and thinks that both attackers are send by the same person.

"Some out there must really hate you." Arnie said. "Anyway, since you awake now. I'll be discharging you tomorrow. So far, you're in perfect health. But I suggest you lay low, and I really mean it Cons. Someone send an assassin and a zombie to kill you, you need to stop attracting unwanted attention." He said. "But I can just discharge you now that I know about the whole 'I can see dead people thing', you are definitely not spending another night here. Those shadows are just creepy." Arnie said that last part to himself. He stood up, a bit tired from the conversation but he just breathed it in. "I'll inform Grey to pick you up, I also gave them a copy of the surveillance video I showed you. It was deleted from the hospital archives so this is the only copy.."

The doctor did another quick check-up on Khonshu, mainly on his hip and vision. He then left after informing the boy that lunch would arrive in an hour.

Khonshu is left in the room alone again. A minute later, he can now hear the faint cry of the wandering souls. He can even see them slowly appearing in the corners of the room, as if coming in now that Arnie has left.

This is a new thing for the god child, normally they would appear at night. But it seems that the veil between him and the spirit plane has weakened even further, enough that the souls can approach him in the day.

Let's see if I still remember, He said to himself once he sees the shadowy souls coming closer.

Khonshu closed his eyes, and took a deep breath. Slowly he tried to calm his mind once again, concentrating and emptying his thoughts as fast as he can, which took some frustrating minutes.

The souls are now halfway closer, one looks like he has a hole on his chest as if it was blasted from some laser, another has broken arms that hang on his sides, another is a child but its head is twisted and is walking backwards. The shadows have now encircled Khonshu's bed, some are leaning forward, trying to close in on the boy, but he is still doing nothing.

Then, he took a deep breath, and breathed out lowly but loudly. A chilly mist came out from his mouth, its vapors were visible in the air as if it were winter. Then the vapors expanded, spreading around the boy. Almost immediately, the shadow figures stopped, as if taken by the cool air being blown on their faces. Then like dust, their form dissipated like a flame being blown out.

Outside the door, more shadows were crowding the hallway and they too disappeared as the vapors spread further to encompass the entire door.

Khonshu slowly opened his eyes half way. His irises are glowing white, then slowly they faded back to a pale grey. He blinked a few more times and took another breath, more normally again to get his thoughts back to normal.

This is going to be annoying to keep doing, He thought.

Not the ghosts, though, he is very used to ghosts and fighting them.

It is concentration, mental calmness, calculation and effort to do the cool breathing thing that is meant to calm the restless.

Channeling and manipulating Heka is something he hasn't done since his banishment. The god child preferring to just use physical force with a very small amount of his divine energy/heka to just punch his problems in the face.

Khonshu admits that he lack the passion for art. But iafter his banishment, he quickly found out that he has a very, very limited energy reserve to channel heka normally. He still has heka or magic in general, just not enough to fully utilize it like what he is doing now.

It got so low that he had to minimize using his own personal magic in favor of sustaining the ceremonial suit of his knights.

After 4 hours, Arnie arrived to help bring Khonshu out the hospital back door. A nurse, Khonshu learned her name is Sally, brought his original clothes for him to change back to. He is surprised to find it washed and dried. He also found that he really enjoys the feel of the clean and soft cloth without any dirty and trash.

Arnie once again, brought a gurney with a cloth that covers all sides. Khonshu went under it and stayed there until doctor Arnold wheeled him to the back door. There Grey is waiting for them.

"Take care of yourself Cons, and please for the love of God, try to avoid any more unwanted attention." He said before he turned around and closed the door. Khonshu got inside Grey's private car, the pair went to the arranged apartment for the boy. Things were rather quite in the car

"So, Zombie assassin." Grey said, breaking the silence. "I got a call last week from doc, you were found passed-out in the parking lot."

Khonshu didn't confirm it immediately, he is just looking out the window. "He told you what happened anyway, why are you asking me?" he said.

"I want to hear it from you and You don't have to be an ass about it. So, mind explaining the zombie? I've heard of ghosts and wizard assassins but zombie assassins are new." Grey said, expecting the attitude.

"Fine" Khonshu said, he removed his gaze from the side window and leaned back to face the front. He is sitting on the passenger seat beside the driver. "The zombie chased me across the halls with the intention of killing me. I managed to hide and caught the zombie in surprise, pushing out the window to the parking lot. There I killed it."

"You, killed it? With what?" Grey asked, she thought back to the video Arnie sent. As part of her work, she needs to see if Khonshu's remembers what happened. "And the video of the parking lot. Where you were seen falling down from the 3rd floor and survived. That video is glitchy as hell and the it keeps cutting. We can't see or know what happened, except for you kid." She said.

" If you're wondering, I found a scalpel on the floor, some doctor may have accidentally dropped it." He said, and he isn't lying. He used a scalpel to fight the zombie.

Grey sideglaces at her passenger. "Still, you could have alerted anyone else."

"And die? Officer, a zombie is hell-bent on killing me. I don't have time to call the police or even the nurses. They will just get hurt or even killed. And don't forget that I'm not a normal kid Officer. I'm very much aware that no ordinary kid have abilities I have." Khonshu explained.

Grey stayed quite after that, then she asked "Is it hard, having those abilities at a young age?" She is curious but also worried about the kid. Grey used to play with her sister in her childhood, beat up bullies who made fun of her and sometimes annoy her father about getting more candy. She never saw dead people, deal with kidnappers or even lived on the streets before college. So everything about this kid is a huge juxtaposition to her own normal childhood.

"You get used to it fast, like knowing how to use your hand to write. It's not like I have a choice, Grey. I was born with this, and it's a part of who I am." He said. Khonshu can sense Grey's worry and it's starting to annoying. The child god does not like being cared for, or treated like a child (ignoring the fact that he is one). But he also does not want to distract the policewoman from her job.

Khonshu in his travels, has seen corrupt policemen and judges, people who fell from grace and use their position for selfish gains. They are on his hit list for that reason. The god is internally happy to find an officer of the Law who actually does their job, and he wishes they continue to do so, not to be distracted.

"Besides…" he said, trying to reassure the lady, "It's like a skill. Take riding a bike in comparison. You fall a few times and it hurts, like really, really hurts. But you have the choice to let that pain bring you down, or you learn from it. Staying down is really boring, so I got up and tried again." Khonshu said.

Grey just smirked at the kid's efforts, she can see that he is trying to save face, "So, you know how to ride that bike now?"

"I can ride a motorcycle blindfolded with one hand-tied behind my back." Khonshu said with so much confidence, Grey is convinced that the kid will actually do it. And after seeing him go after a kidnapper, the police woman thinks he will do it.

"Whatever kid. Just, don't actually do that literally. I will have to arrest you for driving without a license." Grey said, she can see the kid pout at being called a kid.

Pomptous Brat , she said to herself. Smiling at the oddly cute pout and feeling glad to have annoyed him. The kid goes back to watching the streets outside, deeming the conversation to be over.

Grey went back to driving. The two were silent until Grey stopped Infront of a simple looking 4-storey apartment building at the edge of the city. It's one of those classic-looking ones with red bricks and a basement-turned-cafe. The other buildings beside it look the same too. Making it hard to distinguish them without looking at small details such as the plants on the front or the door color.

Khonshu suspects they picked this building because of its inconspicuousness.

Grey lead him inside and to the second floor. Khonshu can see the brown doors of the other tenants. Some are new but most are old mahogany. The staircase is located in the middle and goes all the way up, it is also made of wood. The god can feel the age and history of the railings just by touching it, it's creaky and obviously needs some repairs but it is still strong enough to handle their weight.

Once they reached the second floor, Grey lead them to a door down the hall with a plaque saying A-4b. She took out a key and opened it, showing a not so modern room. The wallpaper is a sickly yellow and it smells like it, but it is moderately clean with no trash and is semi-furnished. The furniture is old-looking though, like the whole room but it may have undergone some renovation since Khonshu can see some wall lines on the ceiling. Like they torn down a wall. There is a gas stove, a refrigerator, and a cabinet on the side close to the front door, and a bright living room across with the french windows. There is also a table with a chair, a second-hand sofa and a small coffee table. The god can hear the cars and street outside the window.

"The bedroom and bathroom are over there" Grey said, pointing to the two doors on the left of the living room. "We also stocked some food in the cabinet. I think you know how to buy more. Anyway, take this." She said as she gave the kid a cellphone. She then put her hands on her hips, "I take it that you know how to use it?" She asked.

Khonshu felt offended that "Of course I do. It's not that hard.". He said as he looks at the smartphone.

Grey raises an eyebrow. She is already doubting the kid's words since she can see him turning the phone around his hand like he is looking at a shiny new toy.

"Right, maybe you should unlock it then." She said. Khonshu is just looking at the phone in his hand, and then he tapped the screen. Not swiping, just tapping it lightly with his pointer but nothing happened. He tried it again, and again. His frustrations are getting obvious on his face and he knows this.

More and more he is getting embarrassed, especially since Grey is watching. After a few more failed attempts, Grey stepped in and pulled the phone away from Khonshu's hand.

"Hey, I'm not done yet." He said, "Yes you are kid. Here, you push this button on the side. Then you swipe the screen", Grey replied. She showed the lock button on the side of the phone, pushing it once and waited for the screen to lit up. She then put her finger on the screen and slid her finger across it. The home screen appeared, showing the icons. Grey then gave the phone back to Khonshu.

"You play with it more. You a smart kid, I'm sure you'll get the hang of it." She said. "Anyway, Here's the key to the front door." She said as she tossed it to Khonshu. Who caught it with ease, with the smartphone on his other hand.

"I can't stay for long. Duty calls." Grey said, " And like Arnie said, please try to stay low for now. We manage to arrest your assassin, but we suspect she still has accomplices hiding in the city. They think that your dead anyway but it's not an exuse to walk around recklessly. There's a new set of clothes in the wardrobe so you can change. If you find any trouble, or suspicious activity using your abilities, call me. My number is on the speed dial." Grey said before she left.

Khonshu walked forward to lock the door, he then placed the keys and the phone on the table, before walking to the sofa. He felt the furniture, taking a sit and bounced a bit. It's not as bouncy, but it's still soft. He then looked around the apartment. There is a wall clock hanging so he checked the time, even though he technically doesn't need to. It says 5:25 pm, it's actually 30 minutes late.

I'll adjust that later, He said as he stood up and walked to the bedroom.

The bed is a simple, iron-framed bed placed on the far corner. It also suspiciously looks like the ones used in prisons. The window is beside it, giving Khonshu a view of the street below it. There is a wardrobe cabinet on the other wall. Opening it, the god saw some clean clothes. He picked a few and tried it on. He doesn't like changing the clothes he already have, since he liked the cotton shirt, but if Grey is right about the assassin's accomplices, then he needs to change before he steps out.

He picked a simple light blue shirt, a white hoodie, and some faded jeans. He even found a baseball cap on the bottom shelf and tried it on. It hides parts of his face well enough, so he should wear it whenever he goes outside. For now he put the hat on the bed.

He is getting hungry, so he went to the kitchen area.

And there is that feeling again, much more stronger now. He actually felt it in the hospital but it is way to light and small. At first he thought it was another wandering soul watching him. But now that he is alone again, it's much stronger and more distinct.

Khonshu stopped moving and focused on the eyes that is watching him, but that feeling stopped. Whatever it was, it found out that Khonshu found out and bailed before the god could pinpoint who it was.

The god has a suspicion on who it is, but until it sends another assassin, Khonshu will try to go on as normal. He had to deal with 2 assassin attempts and he is way too hungry to deal with his " other self" right now.

Opening the food cabinet, he found some canned food and noodle packs. Khonshu then realized he does not know how to cook. He could try to cook instant noodles, but he will have to figure out how the gas stove works, and how to boil water. He's not even sure if he has a kettle or a pan.

So, deeming cooking to not be an option, Khonshu went back to get the baseball cap. While looking at the mirror, he noticed his eyes are now paler in color.

Then he thought of something. First, he closed his eyes, and opened them again. He can see his irises are now glowing pure white, like freshly fallen snow. It is also glowing. The god knows that it will be obvious in the dark or any shaded area. He let his magic settle down, watching as the light in his eyes dimmed until it is now the old dirty gray color.

He will need to find something to cover his eyes, or maybe even conceal it if he will ever use his god powers again. He put on the baseball cap and looked around, he remembered he didn't see the rest of the cabinets and opened them. There he found an envelope with some cash inside as well as a wallet. Khonshu pocketed the wallet and left. Closing the door behind him.

Khonshu settled at a nearby convenience store and bought a sandwich. "Here you go kid." the cashier guy said, a lanky looking one who clearly needs to get some sleep. Khonshu said thanks, but he noticed the sign that says Choco-blast slurry . The cashier realized kid hasn't moved and turned around to see what he is looking at. Upon seeing the sign, the cashier looked at the kid and said in a tired voice, "Would you like a cup kid?". Wondering why didn't the kid just say it himself and leave.

"Ugh, sure. One please." Khonshu said. He sat on the nearby the chair and tables inside the store until he finished eating. Then he returned to the apartment. Inside the bathroom, he took a much needed and wanted shower, spending more time in there than usual. But once he stopped the water, he realized now that he didn't get a towel with him, and soap.

He ends up walking to his bedroom soaking wet, leaving sloppy water footprints on the floor. He finally got a bath tower to dry himself, and picked his night wear. An oversized white shirt and some cotton pants that are supposed to be for kids.

The shirt is so big, Khonshu can see his bony collar as he inspect himself in the mirror. The cotton pants is also rather larger than himself, the pants extend beyond his feet, but he doesn't mind. He likes the feel of loose and baggy clothes.

He pushed himself on the bed, the mattress is not as soft as the one in the hospital, but it is still clean and the sheets does not smell of dirt. He can hear the sound of the streets outside his window on his left. On his right is the empty room with the wardrobe and mirror, but he can also feel a familiar presence.

Without turning his head, he lets his senses open just a bit. And right at the corner of his eye, he can see the shadow of a headless figure, with a floating skull of a bird. Khonshu can also see the bird-skull have cracks. He didn't say anything, and so did the shadow.

Khonshu knows that the shadow is his other self, now free from prison. And the boy god suspects that his other self is probably not happy about the zombie being defeated, and came to spy on him.

Khonshu is not even surprised, because he would do the same thing. Watching and waiting for a weakness while also silently coming to show the "newbie" who is boss.

Two can play that game, He thought.

Khonshu let his own energy spread out to the room. Soaking the walls, floor, and ceiling with his moon lit heka. Marking the whole apartment, the whole building as his domain, his territory. And making it clear that the shadow is trespassing.

The shadow moved a bit, taken by this large influx of magic god energy similar to it's own, but so different that it has no control over it. It stopped to stare at the boy on the bed, who didn't even turn his head. The shadow now knows, that the boy knows he is here.

Like 2 deadly birds of prey doing a stare down, without making eye contact. Silently daring the other to make the next move.

After 5 minutes of this silent showdown, the lights in the apartment are starting to flicker. This is the larger shadow trying to out-work the boy, as if saying that it is much stronger.

I can do that too, Khonshu thought. Then after a minute the whole building is flickering. The tenants in the other rooms are looking at their lights and cellphones, wondering what is going on.

Foolish Godling...

A deep and eldrich voice said. Khonshu knows that it is the voice of his counterpart, but he a bit surprised to why his counterpart is calling him a godling when they are supposed to be the same being.

The Other Khonshu decided the apartment is not enough, so after another minutes the whole block is now having electrical problems.

But Khonshu didn't give up. If anything he is very unimpressed, then he remembers that the figure is supposed to be in jail right now. The god child have no idea if the ones who put his alternate self in prison, knows that the other god is free. So he tried something.

"What the hell…My Car" Someone yelled outside, then more talking is heard about the street lights as cars suddenly stopped working. Since the Moon God native to this universe have influenced the whole block, Khonshu pushed his energy outside the buildings, and is now reaching to influence street lights, cars and the buildings in the entire neighborhood.

Khonshu thinks he can expand his senses even wider and reach the Avengers tower in the heart of the city. Then in the last minute, he started making the lights flicker at a specific pattern.

Stilling all the lights a bit longer, then a quick blink. Then 4 quick blinks.

The shadow had to pause, then this realizes what this pattern is. It's morse code. And it is spelling out K & H. The boy is going to spell out his name using the city lights for everyone to see.

Khonshu is still on the bed, not turning his head but letting the threat hang in the air.

Do anything and I will scream to the world that you are free.

The larger shadow quickly swooshed away. Khonshu can feel its presence leave the apartment, leave the building and go beyond a few blocks.

Khonshu finally let out a breath he has been holding and let himself relax. The electricity and lights finally went back to normal.

I can't believe it actually worked, he thought.

He was improvising everything, like how he made the lights flicker to try to scare his universe' Steven. But messing with every electrical circuit would not get his other self to leave. Then he remembered that his other self was in prison, so he quickly decided to spell it out using the lights. It also confirmed one of his suspicions, no one knows that his other self is free.

Regardless, he now has something he can use as a threat. As long as he keeps it to his favor. The child god is very much aware of how his own methods can be underhanded. A sneaky game of slight of hands, careful wording, planning and opportunity. And he knows that his Other self does exactly the same thing.

One thing he realized though is that since technically, his opponent is himself. The boy god hopes that he can use that fact, and predict exactly what his other self will do and say by asking,

What would I do...

Then plan ahead to counter it immediately. Which reminds him, he will need scour his memory for the many forgotten lessons he had under Thoth and the rest of his family. Khonshu's counterpart doesn't appear to use magic the same way he does. It can be a huge advantage for him in this world.

I'll do it tomorrow, he said to himself. Now he is slightly exhausted from messing with the electricity of the entire neighborhood, he even reached the circuits of building in central New York. There are a couple of places that he senses to be dangerous so he avoids that but he made a bee line directly to the Avenger's tower.

Khonshu finally closed his eyes, confident that his other self wouldn't be spying on him and fell asleep.
