Omake: Superpower Test - Feedback
[Play "Queen - Don't Stop Me Now | Shazam!"]
"You ready?"
"Yup…"
"Science!"
*BZZZZZ!*
A flash of electricity dances across the air, blasting the textbook apart!
"Woah! Hahahaha!" A very human Henzu Uuichi cheers as burning scraps of pair shower down to the warehouse floor.
He quickly grabs another book and tosses it. "English!"
This time Feedback doesn't hesitate to fry the book to bits, this time sending the sparks out through a finger gun! "HA! Hahaha!" He cackles, can't help but find this fun as well.
as he tosses up a
"Haha!" Henzu laughs too as he tosses up another book. "Calc!"
Feedback fires and the calc book goes up in a brilliant array of sparks as it burns through the air.
"Hahahahahaha!"
"Here take this." Feedback hands Henzu an older looking camcorder.
"What's this?"
Feedback's grin widens. "I've…been needing to test this guy out."
Henzu's eyes light up with excitement. "Oh, this is gonna be good."
Next thing you know, Henzu's got the camcorder working and ready to document. And so, he holds up Izuku's notebook where he's written out a full disclosure:

Henzu turns the page revealing the first test:
[Super Strength Test 1]
He pulls the notebook down to reveal an obvious Feedback swaying his hips and arms back and forth, flossing.
The transformed Izuku quickly notices the camcorder. "Oh, oh!"
He hurries over to one of the warehouse's concrete pillars. And without a hint of trepidation, he punches the pillar! His fist smashing into it, leaving a small, cracked crater in its side.
"Ahhh!" Feedback yelps, hissing and moaning, gripping his aching hand. "Ow! Ow ow ow!"
"You okay, dude?"
Feedback shakes his head, his tendrils flailing. "I think I broke something!"
For the next test, Feedback lines up one of his tendrils with an empty oil barrel. He reels back and whacks his tendril against the barrel sending it flying!
The barrel soars across the warehouse until it crashes and bounces off the wall, bent over with a large dent in its side from the strike.
"Woooaaah-hahaha! Feedback grins, impressed by his capabilities.
[Flight Test 1]
Feedback stands atop an old forgotten skateboard ramp. With a leap he rushes down the ramp to gain speed until he runs up the other side and jumps straight into the air! Hooting his arm up and holding a flight pose, expecting to fly upward.
But instead, gravity soon pulls him back down to reality. "Waaaahhh-OOOF!" He lands right on his spine, unmoving.
Henzu zooms in with the camera. "You okay?"
[Radio Signal Detection Test 1]
With the camera set on the ground, Henzu walks in front and shows the viewer two separate handheld radios while behind him sits the abandoned warehouse with Feedback presumably inside the building. Henzu takes one radio to one side of the factory before coming back around to the other side, taking the camera with him.
After putting some distance between himself, the factory, and the lone radio. Henzu takes his radio and laughs into it. "Hey Izuku, is it true that you wet your bed until you were eight years old?"
"NO!" Feedback screams, embarrassed, from inside the factory.
He leaps out of the factory, crashing through a busted window, panicked and red-faced with embarrassment. "That's not true! Who told you that?! They're lying! I swear!"
"Hahahaha!" Henzu can't help but laugh at his expense though. "Hahahaha!"
[Laser Eye Test 1]
Henzu gives Feedback a thumbs up for him to go ahead.
Feedback turns to his target, a single soda can sitting atop a barrel.
He narrows in, keeping his single green eye on the can. His face becoming twisted with sheer consecration like he's taking a crap as he tries to will himself to fire a laser from his eye.
Knowing he can't do it, but knowing the camera is on him, Feedback tries to sneak his tendril up near his face from the side opposite the camera and fires giving the illusions that it came from his eye.
"Woooaaah!" He cheers, acting like it wasn't at all faked.
Henzu, however, goes ahead and crosses that possible power off the list.
[Electrical Traveling Test 1]
Feedback ducks inside a large cardboard box, tucking himself inside while holding onto a long stretch of cable. The cable extends out from the box, leading into another cardboard box: the intent being that Feedback might be able to travel through the wire as electricity and then reemerge at the other end.
But Henzu has another test in mind first.
[Secret FIRE Immunity Test 1]
Putting down the camera, Henzu quickly douses the top of Feedback's box with lighter fluid, spraying a trail back towards the camera.
He then takes a match, lights it, and drops it atop the flammable trail and watches with astonishment as the flames race towards the box and the unknowing Feedback.
The box instantly ignites, shining bright within the dark factory.
Henzu's smile soon vanishes when Feedback doesn't just pop out right away.
But his concerns are for not as a panicked Feedback bursts out of the flaming box; his body steaming and slightly burnt but overall fine that to his natural resistances.
But that doesn't make him feel any better as he turns his upset glare onto Henzu.
Henzu begins to panic, hurrying away quickly. "I'm sorry! Ahhh!"
[Electricity Absorption Test 1]
Feedback pierces his tendril into a junked car battery. And electricity instantly surges into his body, sparks dancing off his tendril as the power travels through his veins. "Hahaha!"
*BOOM!*
"Ahh!" Both Feedback and Henzu jump back as the battery implodes on itself.
"Hahahaha!" They both laugh figuring it might have been a little too old and busted for them to even use.
[Super Speed Test 1]
Feedback races through the warehouse with incredible speed. "Wooah!"
"Look at you go!" Henzu cheers!
"Wanna see me run backwards?!" Feedback grins, flipping around while still on the move. "Hahaha-Wah!" He slips on a puddle of grease and oil making him flail out of control. "W-woaa-woaah!" He slips out of view from the camera and then the sounds of crashing metal, pipes, and barrels echo across the warehouse.
"He's fine." Henzu shrugs as the crashes continue. "Or at least…I think so."
More crashes.
"I'm coming buddy!"
With a hotdog in hand, Henzu frowns, thinking about possible phrases and titles Feedback could use. "You're, uh, more powerful than a Double A Battery."
"A battery?" Feedback shakes his head, swallowing his hotdog. "Is that really the best you can come up with?"
Henzu frowns trying to think of another when something else crosses his mind. "Can you leap over buildings in a single bound?"
Feedback's…actually not sure about that.
But he's willing to try and thus why the two now find themselves in downtown Musutafu and in front of one of its tallest office buildings.
Feedback peers up, backing up and reading himself to jump.
Henzu makes sure to keep the camera on him. "Single bound!" he reminds.
Feedback nods, squats and then shoots himself up into the air with his powerful legs. "Yah!"
Henzu watches from below, keeping the camera on his airborne friend.
He's going, he's going, He's-
*CRASH!*
"EEEEEEEeeeeekkk!" A woman screams in terror as do many of the officer workers inside as Feedback comes crashing into their meeting.
"I-I'm sorry! I'm sorry, sorry! H-hi…!"
Walking through the train station, a smug Feedback points his finger towards a passerby who's locked on his phone. "Your phone's charged!"
A small ray of electricity fires out and surges into the phone, surprising the passerby.
"Wow." The passerby gasps, amazed that their phone is indeed charged
Feedback and Henzu grin as they continue through the station.
Feedback's tendril snacks around another passerby. "Your phone's charged!"
He fires, charging their phone too. Feedback
"Hey?!" The passerby jumps, initially frightened before noticing Feedback's good deed. "What? Thanks!"
Feedback throws his hand over his head, aiming down at another passerby. "Your phone's charged!"
"Wah?!"
A smiling Henzu shakes his head. "You know what. You really need like-like a mic drop catchphrase after you do some cool shit."
Feedback is quick to respond, having been waiting for Henzu to bring it up. "I've been thinking about that. I was thinking, what about this? "That's why you don't mess with electricity."" Feedback offers up as he crosses his hands and wiggles his fingers. "Pow…!"
"Well, catchphrases clearly isn't one of your superpowers."
Disappointed, Feedback notices another passerby locked onto their phone.
He quickly fires another shock. "Your phone's charged!"
However, this time the older phone explodes, sending sparks flying everywhere.
The older passerby snaps up at the freak and barks. "What the hell?!"
As the duo continue their way through the city they both find themselves before a lone vending machine.
Feedback's fingers spark with electricity. "Let there be light."
And he fires upon the machine, frying it, and as a result sodas just begin pouring out one after the other.
"Yeah, baby!"
The two friends splurge themselves on their loot with Feedback managing to down fifty of them, no sweat. But as they continue along it quickly comes back to haunt him as his stomach gurgles and groans.
Feedback's eye widens as he holds his stomach.
"Uh…" he quickly dashes away, finding a public restroom.
He makes it to a stall in time but then…stops when he realizes that he's not actually in his normal human body.
"How do I…? Oh! Never mind…"
Henzu turns away from the restroom, not even wanting to think about it.
Feedback shakes his head hastily, silently begging Henzu not to make him do this.
But recording from afar, Henzu coaxes him on silently gesturing for him to man up and go inside the building.
Giving in to peer pressure, Feedback turns as the bouncer steps aside allowing the tall being into the brightly light gentlemen's club A.K.A. The Booty Trap.
Henzu grins, chuckling to himself while also feeling a bit of pride for his boy. Like a proud father of sorts, witnessing his son become a man.
But barely a few minutes go by before a very embarrassed and freaked out Feedback rushes back outside.
Henzu lights up. "Whatcha-whatcha see? Come on dude tell me!"
Feedback breathes, catching his breath as if he just ran away from a villain. "We're broke."
Henzu puts down the camera, confused, he gives Izuku all he had to make sure he could pay the entrance fee and…then some. "You were in there for like five minutes."
"They were really convincing! And it was kinda scary…"
Feedback shakes his head, but Henzu bumps his shoulder, hard.
The tall being sighs, giving in and firing sparks of electricity at the ATM.
Newly minted bills and coins pout out from the ATM like a waterfall of green and silver.
"Woooaaahh! Hahaha!" Henzu laughs reaching for the money.
"T-that enough." Feedback freaks out grabbing Henzu and picking him up before rushing away. "Go go go go go go!"
"Woah! Woah!"
"Nooo!"
"Hahaha!" Feedback laughs, watching with glee as he wipes the floor with Henzu in Mortal Kombat.
"Haha! Take this!" His fingers fly across the game controller, allowing for Raiden to utterly dominate the fight with Scorpion.
"God, no!" Henzu screams watching as Scorpion gets his ass handed to him. "No!"
"Look! Look! Henzu, look! I've only got one eye open. HA!"
"Stop! Stop!"
"OH!" That was it. "And done, Finished Him!"
Henzu sighs, dropping his controller.
"Haha!" Feedback grins, sitting up. "So, what's next?"
Henzu takes a moment to think and after a moment an almost evil grin stretches across his face. "Oh, I have a few ideas."
There you go that was this week's Omake. This Omake was inspired by "Shazam! tests his powers" scene from DC's "Shazam" movie. Which is a very fun movie, and I can't wait for its sequel.
*UPDATE: Like last time the progress for Ch. 54 More Than Meets the Eye is slow going. But the progress is consistent, and I am very excited to show you all what I have in store. Again, I can't say for sure when it will be done. But I have recently realized that this story's anniversary is coming up real soon. So, it is my goal to update by then. Even if I didn't finish the entire chapter, I was gonna split it in half anyway so I will be sure that the first half s at least done before then. And it for sure will be. But if I manage to finish both parts then that would be ideal.
