Omake: Late

MONDAY

It's homeroom class and Shota Aizawa is leaning back in his chair while it's Mineta's turn to present his report.

Today everyone is reporting on a vigilante that was active before hero laws and regulations were inaugurated. And right now, it's Mineta's turn and oh boy; Aizawa sure is regretting not going over Mineta's notes first before allowing him to present.

Mineta grins lecherously as he files through his notecards and reads. "As I was saying Helena Bertinelli was a total badass. Not to mention a total babe with one of the sexiest costumes, setting the bar for future heroines."

"Speaking of setting the bar." Mina chimes in her voice dripping with angry sarcasm. "You are really lowering it for all of literal mankind. So please take a class on Sexual Harassment."

Before Mineta could continue, however, Denki Kaminari rushes into the room, slamming the door open with his uniform all disheveled, his hair messy, while also out of breath. "I'm here! I'm here! Sorry, Mineta."

Mineta grins, waving it off. "No need to apologize. I'm just about to get to the good parts anyway."

The class roll their eyes while Aizawa glares daggers at Kaminari fro being so late.

Kaminari notices and tries to explain himself. "My power went out last night and my alarm didn't go off."

Jiro gives him a very skeptical look. How did you lose power when your Quirk is literally electricity?"

He doesn't have an answer for that and instead rushes for his seat. "Point is it will not happen again. Carry on!"

TUESDAY

Kaminari stumbles into the classroom, just as disheveled and out of breath as yesterday. "Sorry I'm late Class Pres., no hot water this morning."

Iida is standing in the front of the room, along with Aizawa, having just finished giving morning announcements to the class.

The two just stare at him, not approving of his tardiness at all.

But Kaminari just heads to his seat before they could berate him. "But I'm here. Ready to go. Will cause no further distractions."

WEDNESDAY

Once again Kaminari is late to class, interrupting Iida's announcements again. "Sorry, sorry, sorry!"

Iida shakes his head disapprovingly. "This is far from professional, Kaminari! Just what is your excuse this time?!"

"More bad luck!" Kaminari defends. "My train was late and all my uniforms are still in the wash. So, I had to beg Mineta to lend me his!" He gestures to said uniform.

Kaminari is wearing Mineta's severely undersized school uniform: the pants looking like tight short shorts and the top of the uniform looking like a crop top.

Everyone just stares at just how ridiculous he looks.

Bakugou shakes his head at the sheer stupidity of it all. "Moron, why didn't you ask literally anybody else?"

Kaminari gives him a quizzical look. "Would you really have lent me a spare uniform?"

Bakugou scoffs. "No! …But Deku would have."

From behind Bakugou, Izuku gives Kaminari a shaky smile. "Yeah, I would have. If you just asked."

"Dang it!" Kaminari rages. "Why didn't I think of that first?!"

THURSDAY

Kaminari swaggers into the empty classroom; he's feeling good, his uniform is clean, and he even had time to pick up a morning cup of coffee. "I'm here! I'm here! I'm here!" He sings as he enters the empty classroom and only finds Aizawa standing there at the podium. "And I'm a half an hour early." He grins, assuming he beat everyone else here.

Aizawa just remains silent, however, staring at him in complete bewilderment.

"That's right!" Kaminari grins, proud that he was able to surprise Aizawa. "My string of bad luck has finally come to an end."

Aizawa looks him dead in the eye and with full seriousness proclaims. "Kaminari, you failed your drug test. There were traces of cocaine and meth amphetamines found in your urine."

"WHAT!?"
