Omake: It's Friday?

It's early in the morning, way too early in the morning for anyone to be up at such an unholy hour, but somehow Izuku and Iida were able to will themselves out of bed for a morning study session before classes begin.

"And there we have it." Iida breathes after he and Izuku finish up the last worksheet, and just in time as more of their classmates begin to file into the classroom. "I'm sorry Midoriya but I am afraid we will continue our study session next time."

Izuku waves it off with a smile, already appreciating the help so far. "Sure, what time?"

Iida frowns as he tries to come up with a good time. "Sorry, but I plan on performing some personal training tomorrow and my Sunday is already booked up for a family gathering. So, we will have to wait till Monday."

Izuku pauses, doing a double-take as he's not a hundred percent sure if he heard Iida right. "W-wait, wait, one thing. By tomorrow you mean… Saturday, right?" He can almost hear Henzu's little voice on his shoulder as he asks this.

And Iida throws him the most surprised yet disappointed look he's ever seen. "Yes." Iida breaths in disbelief, blinking at Izuku like he's being irresponsible. "Midoriya. It is very important to be punctual and precise, especially when knowing the time of year. This is very important for when we become heroes. We can't be missing important events! Remember that!"

"Oh, yeah, yeah, I'll…remember." As Iida gets up to head back to his seat a rare mischievous smirk graces Izuku's lips.

While the rest of the class files inside, Izuku is able to wave Ochaco over as she walks in.

"Morning, Deku." Ochaco greets, strolling over to see what's up.

"Morning… Hey, Uraraka?"

"Yeah?"

"Today's Thursday, right?"

She gives him a weird look but nods anyway. "It is."

And like that a mischievous plot forms within Izuku's mind.

It's lunch time or rather the end of lunch and so the trio of Izuku, Iida, and Ochaco are making their way back to their classroom. But as they stroll through U.A.'s halls Izuku makes a point to pull out his phone and makes a fake call for a fake appointment.

"Hi, um Dr. um…" He hurries to think of a name, something that will sound believable and not cartoonish at all. "Animo! Yes! Dr. Animo. I am calling about scheduling an appointment for my…pet. And I was hoping you had an opening tomorrow which the15th and that is aaa…-" He draws it out hoping Iida will cut in.

And he does. "Saturday, Midoriya. Saturday!"

Izuku nods, glad to have his confirmation. "-Saturday. So, just let me know what's available for tomorrow, which is Saturday." he smiles, more to himself and his prank than anything else. "Thank you. Talk to you soon." He hangs up.

And as they continue their walk back, he watches Iida closely and his grin only grows as he confirms that Iida had no idea what's going on.

However, Ochaco does happen to notice. As she wonders what's why Izuku's shit-eating smile.

But his mischievous smile only grows as he thinks of another way to hammer in this little joke.

"Hey, Deku!" A mischievously smiling Ochaco greets all too happily at the end of the school day.

Izuku returns said smile back at her. "Hey, how's it going?"

"Oh my god did you see the new episode of Ousama Ranking last night?"

From across the room Iida's ears instantly perk up.

"Of course." Izuku continues while watching the eavesdropping Iida out from the corner of his eye. "It's on every Thursday night. So, how could I miss it?"

"I just can't believe how touching it was."

"Me neither."

"Why?!" Iida rushes over, worried yet intrigued about spoilers. "What happened?"

Ochaco frowns. "You didn't see it?"

"No. I was practicing violin all last night. Drat! I should never practice violin on a Thursday night! What was I thinking?!" He turns away in exasperation, hoping to hurry home and watch it right away.

And while he turns away Izuku and Ochaco have to bite their lips in order not to laugh.

It's Friday morning and like any other morning it starts off with Aizawa taking attendance.

"Aoyama?"

"Cadeau!"

"Ashido?"

"Right here!"

"Asui?"

"Present. Kero."

"Iida?"

"Iida?"

"Iida?!" Aizawa finally looks up from his clipboard only to find Iida's seat totally empty.

He shakes his head as he looks around the room for an answer. "Where the hell is Iida?"

Feigning cluelessness, Izuku shrugs. "Um…no idea."

Aizawa shakes his head in exasperation. "Never miss a day, yeah right."

While the rest of the class wonder what could have happened to their Class President, Izuku and Ochaco both share mischievous looks. Oh porr Iida, the unwilling victim of their first ever prank. Hopefully he'll find the humor in it once they apologize. Until then…they'll just sit back and watch.

"I'm here!" Iida bellows as he tears through U.A's halls an hour later. "I'm here! I'm here!" He shouts while desperately trying to tuck in his uniform and comb back his hair only to end up dropping his backpack and books all across the floor. "I'm here! It's okay!" he screams, scrambling for his fallen things before using a Recipro Burst to get to class.

*UPDATE* Hey sorry about the long wait but I did warn you. And I was right these last few weeks have been exhausting for me. But this last week has finally opened up enough for me to work on the chapter and so here I am! If all goes well (I am praying that it does) I will have Ch.60 Null and Void posted by Friday April, 1st.

Huh, I just realized I am doing a prank based Omake right before that. Not sure if this is well timed or a missed opportunity. Oh, well. Stay tuned for next time and again sorry about the wait. Life just happens, ya know?
