*This Omake is cannon.
*This Omake takes place at the literal end of Ch.67 Training Camp.
Omake: Extra Scene - Training Camp
A blinding spotlight turns on, but instead of illuminating the entire room it only shines at the back of a single figure. Casting a shadow over their face and figure.
"Is it done? Has everything been prepared?" The figure asks into the seemingly empty pitch-black room.
Another spotlight illuminates a second silhouette. "Not to worry. It's all taken care of."
A third light turns on and reveals a third figure, this one being much bigger than the other two. "They won't know what hit em!"
"Tehehehe!" A fourth figure cackles with laughter under their own light.
And finally, a fifth light illuminates at the end of the table, and the final member speaks up. "I gotta say it, this is one devious plot even for you."
"Worried?" Asks the first silhouette.
"No, impressed."
"If you're impressed by that then you may find them even more so." The first figure drops serval files onto the table.
The others peer over and take in the photos of a freckled face teen with green hair, a caramel haired girl with rosy cheeks, and a kid they mistake for an angry Pomeranian with ash-blonde fur and red-hot eyes.
"I must warn you; they won't go down easily."
"That's just fine." The biggest silhouette laughs.
"They're nothing but toys for us to play with." Remarks the second figure, flexing their fingers and causing the sheen of their claws to be seen.
The fifth figure smirks, licking their lips in anticipation. "But we have the bad habit of always breaking our toys. Don't we?"
Three of the others smirk back in anticipation as the first silhouette nods in approval. "I'm counting on it."
The five silhouettes grin down at the files in anticipation for tomorrow. Oh, what a delight it will be to toy with these poor defenseless children.
Without warning a door slides open, allowing light to flood the room and illuminate around a sixth silhouette. "Ah, there you are." The sixth silhouette while trying to look around the pitch-black room. "Why the heck are the lights off? Here." They reach for the light switch.
With a flick of their finger the entire room is flooded with light forcing the Wild Wild Pussy Cats and Aizawa to shield their eyes after suddenly being blinded.
They all groan and hiss as the lights reveal a fairly comfortable and well decorated room. From picture frames, ornate furniture, stylish couches, cat-themed decorum, and a table that looks like it's part of a giant tea party set.
"Aw, Vlad you ruined the atmosphere!" Ragdoll complains while falling her paws in the air.
Vlad King steps away from the door. "What are you saying?"
Aizawa sighs, finding this all so annoying. "Nothing, these four, thought it'd be a "fun idea."" He makes quotation marks with his fingers.
"And it totally was!" Pixie-Bob defends with a sly grin. "We were like totally cryptic and suspicious!"
"You're suspicious alright." Aizawa retorts.
Vlad King pushes his way forward. "And what exactly is so important that this had to be in the dark?" As he approaches, he notices the three files on the table. "Is that-"
"Don't worry about it." Aizawa drops his hand over the files, blocking Vlad King's view. "We just finished our discussion."
"We literally just started!" Mandalay gasps.
"So, why exactly were you looking for me?" Aizawa asks.
"Your remedial group is waiting for you in the classroom." Vlad King explains. "The one I have is already a headache as it is so I'm not babysitting yours."
"Fair enough. Let's go, I only have six hours to drill some sense into their heads."
"That's what I like to hear." With a fanged smirk Vlad King follows Aizawa out.
The four members of the Wild Wild Pussy Cats watch on as they leave.
That is until Mandalay airs her worries. "Those poor kids." Those remedial kids have no idea what they're in for.
"You shouldn't worry about them" Tiger assures while holding up the three files. "It's them you should be feeling sorry for." He explains with a cruel, yet enthralled expression.
"Poor naive little mice." Wicked grins flashes across all their faces, their claws shine under the light as their eyes spark with cruel anticipation. "They're about to learn exactly why felines are the greatest predators of all time."
*Yeah so, a lot of you guessed that these silhouettes were the League of Villains. And after seeing those guesses I thought this was a funny way to show you all who was really plotting away in the dark. Don't worry the villains are still hatching their own plans. (`∀´)Ψ
And if you are confused about what these heroes are talking about. If you recall way back when after the Final Exam arc, Aizawa promised that these three kids would be doing a MAKEUP EXAM. So yeah, it's gonna be a "Wild Wild" ride.
*So as maaaaaaany of you have pointed out. Yes, in the Ben Ten series Ghostfreak's second skin protects him from the sun. So then why, in my story, does it not work? Because I legit forgot it was even a thing. Like I knew he had a layer of skin over his real form but the detail that it actually served a real purpose totally escaped me. It's been way too long since I watched that specific episode and I felt confident in what I remembered that I didn't bother to revisit it. And if you are butt hurt over the fact that Ghostfreak was quote-on-quote nerfed then I am sorry. Just know that it wasn't my intention, it was just an honest to goodness mistake.
*UPDATE* The next chapter is a little slow going (this week's been long) but I am happy with what I got planned for you all! It's gonna be so much fun. I am hoping that I can post the chapter next Frida; October 7th, 2022.
