Old life was over. Justice put together all her savings and bought her family house in the Zone. She bought it the way it was no windows or door, dirty and stinky. There was one good thing no bills to pay for water or electricity so she could turn them on any time. The building was cheap because all buildings in Zones were cheap, who would like to leave there. Immigration was slowing down so newcomers tried to rent a place close to each other. The edges of Zones were dead or filled with criminals and drug houses.

Justice moved with just one load of things. The street she lived on was decimated but there was one house all the way in the end and that house was one of those drug houses. Those guys usually tried to avoid having any people on their block, so Justice was prepared for a visit. She had a gun, a baseball-bat and some kitchen knives. She started on cleaning the house it took her a week to clean a kitchen and living room, but she never got upstairs. Likely the first floor had a bathroom as well and it wasn't that bad to clean. Justice locked the second floor she didn't have time or strength to clean upstairs rooms. She got to come back to work, and this thought drained her last power out.

How could she come back to work after all what happened. A Christopher trial was scheduled in November and his parents called her as a witness to testify that he was a great man and never did anything against the law. But Justice knew she wasn't going to be there. She refused to testify and say anything. She saw his case; she read it and talked to James Gordon. Justice ended up learning that Christopher was nothing but a rat in the police department and that he wasn't alone. He snitched on all of them right away. There were seven more people tided to the crime world and feeding lords of crime with all the information police could possibly know.

That day when she decided to avoid the trial, she got so many phone calls from Christopher's parents, but she never picked them up. That day she decided to paint her kitchen and finally build some sort of a kitchen cabinet. Tomorrow had to be the day of her coming back to work but there was a seed of uncertainty in her brain. "But if I quit what I could possibly do in the Zone?" – was her thought every time she pushed a paint roller against the wall. Suddenly she heard a car stopped next to her house. Justice's heart went down, she grabbed her gun what was always next to her and looked from the corner of the window.

There was a nice car, very nice. Two young guys were sitting inside, they looked confused, one of them got out.

"Dumbass." – thought Justice. "They definitely mixed up my house with the house down the street. Young idiots came from outside in the Zone to buy some drugs and don't even know where the drug house at".

The young man was walking on the loan in front of Justice's house trying to call someone. Then his friend pointed towards the end of the street and the boy jumped in the car. They left; Justice could definitely expect some visitors later at night.

She was good at what she was doing in the police department, she liked her job, and she didn't know what she could possibly do if she quitted. She decided to go to work and do her best in avoiding conversations about Christopher. She didn't want to see those looks full of pity thoughts in the eyes of her colleagues, so she made a decision just to look down and work.

But first… she got to protect her house. The evening covered the streets. It was darker than in the city because the street didn't have any lights. It was past midnight when the car stopped in front of her house. Five guys got out and walked to the front entrance. Justice didn't know what expect she just hoped they weren't going to burn the house down. She held the gun in the position to shot and walked quietly in the living room.

One kick of a man's foot and the front door flew into the kitchen.

- Yo, bitch. We know you here. Come out and talk. Fuck you doing here? – one young guy talked to the silence of the house.

- Hey. My name is Justice and I used to live in this house when I was little and now, I bought it back. I don't want any problems.

- Fuck! I bet you ain't bitch. You take our shit and fuck off from the block. If you here tomorrow I shoot you bitch. Ain't nobody find you.

- Sheesh! I won't go anywhere. – Justice was still hiding in the darkness.

- Stupid bitch matherfucker you'r done.

Five guys walked into the dark living room.
