Chapter 3

Seiya urged Ace to woke up by shaking his body on Usagi's bed.

"Ace, wake up. It's 8:30 am. We must be in the entertainment agency at 9am."

"Alright, I'm up. I'm up." Ace said, rubbing his eyes.

"How's sleeping in Odango's bed feels like?"

"Odango?"

"That's a nickname for Usagi, actually."

"You really like to tease Usagi, Seiya." Ace laughed a bit. "And yes, Usagi's bed was very comfy."

"Are you ready to see my manager?"

"Your manager?"

"Yes, Ace. He had a nice relationship with me."

"So, he basically helped you a lot at the times when you were in high school."

"That's right, he was nice. Let's go."

Seiya and Ace walked together outside of the street, A lot of students from Usagi's high school are whispering about the sudden appearance of her.

"Is that Seiya?"

"Who is that person next to him?"

"That person seems to be different?"

"Would it be Yaten or Taiki?"

Ace and Seiya started to walk fast as they tried to leave the crowded place.

"Whew, thankfully they didn't find out it was me."

"What's the matter, Seiya?"

"The shouting and squeals of the students are so loud. I can't even take a break from walking."

"Now we're safe, let's go to the agency."

Afterwards, the agency opened. Seiya halted the Ultra as she got in first.

"Wait for my call, Ace."

Seiya got to the front desk and stared at the receptionist.

"Good morning, how may I help you?"

"I would like to find my manager and talk about something."

"Sure, what's your name?"

"Seiya Kou."

"Seiya Kou? You disbanded a few years ago, where are your other members?"

"They were busy."

"So you would like a solo band?"

"I actually have a partner, just trying to think if we could make a duo."

"Duo?"

"Just a duo."

"Do you have a partner?"

"He's outside."

Seiya then called out Ace as he went into the agency.

"Well, hi." Ace waved to the receptionist.

"That's your partner?"

"Yes. Could you please let him to be my partner?"

"I will tell the manager."

At the office, Seiya's idol manager, Tanaka, which he noticed that Seiya already left the agency without a word a few years ago; he is typing on his computer, checking the rates of the agency.

"Tanaka san. Someone is waiting for you outside."

"Tell them to come."

Seiya and Ace knocked on the door. Tanaka immediately recognized the person was Seiya after a few years absence.

"Seiya, you're back?" Tanaka cannot believe his eyes and saw Seiya back without any change of his appearance.

"Yes, Tanaka san. I'm back. What's wrong?"

"A lot of reporters keep asking me about the sudden disband of you guys a few years ago. You know when I was about to leave the agency, Me and the other colleagues had to use different excuses to get away from it." He said as he recalled the moment when there were almost 100 reporters outside of the agency.

"I'm sorry for leaving in the sudden, Tanaka san. Because me, Yaten and Taiki, which the three of us were in a hurry to take the airplane to America."

"To America? Suddenly at this moment? You should have told me sooner!"

"I'm terribly sorry for causing you trouble, Tanaka san." Seiya bowed.

"However, the reporters got another black material, so they didn't ask me questions afterwards."

"So, they didn't come to your agency?"

"The reporters no longer come anymore, which is a relief."

"Tanaka san, can I set up a new band with my partner?"

"Partner?" Tanaka asked and stared up the figure.

"So, Mister Tanaka, I assume?"

"Yes, you are?"

"My name is Ace, Ultraman Ace."

"Ultraman….Ace?"

"Tanaka san, he is the one that I wanted to join."

"Is this some sort of cosplay, and you have already decided the stage name of yours is called Ultraman Ace?" Tanaka asked, knowing this is the first time meeting an alien.

"Stage name, that's right."

"So is this a costume or something?"

"Is for the audience as a secret, Tanaka. My appearance could make the audience feel excited, you see, my face was made of metal."

"But what are you trying to imply, Ace?"

"I don't know how to sing, Manager. Let Seiya be the one to perform on stage, solo."

"Solo? Why don't you bring Taiki and Yaten? Their managers always told me that they perform so well, I almost wanted to tell the good news about you being back!" Tanaka said.

"Taiki and Yaten are busy in their studies."

"Well, If studies are important, then it's ok for them, but how about you?"

"The rest of the days I must go somewhere else, but for the concerts. I think I could be able to give a duo concert for few months later." Seiya said.

"Duo for you and Ace, right?" Tanaka said.

"Yes, and for Yaten and Taiki. Once they finished their studies; I will promise, they would come." Seiya said as she pointed her fingers to the ceiling, giving a vow to her manager.

"Don't forget what you say, Seiya."

"I promise, Tanaka san."

"So, what band name do you two have decided?"

"Maybe, Duo lights?"

"No, a bit dull."

"Special duo?"

"Too plain."

"Then what's it going to be then, Tanaka?" Ace asked.

"Two Aces."

"Two Aces, a good name." Ace said.

"I remember a few years ago, Seiya. I heard one of the fans said you were the ace of the starlights. You helped Yaten and Taiki a lot."

"Yaten and Taiki are my partners, so I need to fulfill my responsibility as a leader." Seiya said.

"And you, called Ultraman Ace. Since you're name to me was a kind of special, considering your face was like a robot. I decided this would make the fans curious and have a great impression to you."

"Great impression?"

"I just spoke to the idol managers of Yaten and Taiki, they also said they heard the students from some schools miss you very much, they think your voice is outstanding."

"Really?"

"Some even said they would also like to see all of you guys back, but they understand is not easy to make a come back for the whole trio after a few years absence."

"Glad to hear there are some fans that have patience."

"But, first things first, Seiya, could you take Ace to the studio that you been before with your teammates?" Tanaka said.

"No problem."

Seiya and Ace both got to the studio. Nothing had changed, the drums, the electric guitar was still in there. She recalled the happy moments of her, along with Yaten and Taiki, performing different songs, signing autographs from fan meetings. She smiled a bit.

"Ace, this studio is the place where you rehearse."

"That fast?"

"We can rehearse it tomorrow, Ace."

"That's good."

"If Yaten and Taiki were here, the feeling of rehearsing would be back…." Seiya sighed.

"You like enjoying rehearse with them?"

"Yes, Ace. I was saying this doesn't mean that I don't like to rehearse with you, but as what my manager, that you just met; said there will be a concert a few months later, We need to rehearse just in case."

"When was your last concert aired?"

"Before the moment when Sailor Tin Nyanko attacked, after we performed the song."

"I see."

"This was the final concert before we disbanded. We did miss our fans, but after we found our princess. We simply just returned to Kinmoku and continued our duty."

"That's why,"

"Ace, you told me that you can't sing, I'll make a note of that. So, tomorrow. You will be playing the drums."

"Drums. No problem."

"About the final concert, we sang' Search for Your Love'."

"Search for your love?"

"It's the song that we sang, If you haven't heard of it. Let me play it for you."

Seiya put the disc into the machine, which was kept inside the studio for a few years. Ace was surprised that the disc was still able to play after a few years. The music was very peaceful; He closed his eyes and listened to the beat; how every note was played very well; how the Three Lights voice are in sync, when they sang the phrase 'Search For Your Love'. It was very good that if he was like an audience inside a concert, enjoying the performance.

"How's the song, Ace?"

"It's good, I love the rhythm and how you three be able to sing in sync."

"This time, however. I will sing it solo, since Yaten and Taiki were in the Kinmoku taking care of the princess."

"Will the fans be disappointed to see only you on stage?"

"Well, maybe some of them. But most of them would understand our difficulties."

"Seiya, I would leave for a while, after i head back to the Land Of Light, please spend some time with Usagi." Ace said.

"No problem, Ace. Wish you good luck in the Land Of Light."

"Anytime, Seiya." Ace and Seiya both shook hands as their promise.

Ace and Seiya both left the studio and bid farewell to Tanaka and head back to Usagi's house. They hope this special band called "Two Aces" is for their fans and also for the Starlights.
