It was the first time when Bruce Wayne crossed a bridge to the Zone three without a bat suit. He was sitting in a comfort of his luxury Rolls-Royce looking out of a tinted window. As soon as they crossed a bridge everything changed buildings got smaller and uglier, roads got very bad and people … but people seemed happier. They were dressed very regular and out of style but they didn't care they were busy to live and not to pretend living.

The library building was even worse in real life. Nevertheless there was a huge group of people in front of it. Regular people, some news people, people who actually worked in the library. For a second Bruce thought he saw Justice amongst the people.

-They are waiting for you, sir. - said Alfred who was behind a steering wheel.

-I see. Telling the truth I'm nervous.

-I bet you are, Sir. It has been some time since you spoke to regular people not some business or government guys.

-You right, Alfred. Any suggestions?

-Be yourself, sir. They are simple people they don't need your smart words they need truth.

The car stopped next to the library entrance, Bruce exited and immediately got blinded by dozens of bright flash lights. Surrounded by questions from all possible ways he made his way to the door where an old lady stood waiting for him. She was a main librarian and her face was bright from pure happiness.

-Mr. Wayne it is such an honor for our library! - she started.

But Bruce took her hand in his and said very loud and clear.

-No Mrs.Milfred it is my honor to be here and I look forward to clear all misunderstandings.

-Oh! What misunderstandings are you talking about Mr.Wayne?!- said little old lady Milfred.

-I would like first to look at you library Mrs.Milfred would you mind to show it to me? - Bruce smiled with the most kind smile he could.

-Sure! Sure! Come on in! I will have our youngest member of the stuff to show you around.

It was when he saw Justice. Just regular woman dressed in black classic pants and white button up shirt wearing small black kitten hills.

-Good afternoon Mr. Wayne. - she said. - Welcome to the only one public library in the Zone three. This library was established in nineteen thirty seven and since then has never been closed even in times of Great Depression and Gotham's crime outburst when your father tried to help rebuild this city for a better future. And even now when this library is literally outside of Gotham City we remain open six days a week.

She was walking down to the main hall through a reading section and all news people were trying to fit in small corridors of the library.

-You are wrong, Justice I believe? May I call you so? - asked Bruce fallowing a young woman.

-Sure. - she said.

-Great. So, yes you are wrong. Zones are still parts of Gotham City.

-But it doesn't feel this way you know. We are on our own here no police, no proper medical services, we can't even get funding for our only library.

-I understand your concern. - said Bruce but got interrupted by Justice.

-I don't think you do Mr. Wayne but we are anyway appreciate your attention.

What could he expect? A warm welcome apparently, no. Why would people of the Zone three cared for some rich douchebag who decided to visit them once in a century.

When they were in the main hall of the library and all news people surrounded Bruce Wayne pointing cameras and microphones at him he decided to take action.

-Today Wayne Enterprise Fundations start a new chapter where we present equal opportunities for all. Annual Public Library Sponsorship is going to be the first fundraiser where I am personally going to check every candidate and my team will make sure that Sponsorship has rotation. To prevent your questions this year sponsorship stays with the winner but Wayne Enterprise takes all responsibilities for repairing and financing this Public Library where we all currently standing. - Bruce totally forgot the name of this library because his attention got divided on news people and Justice who was talking to that smart guy from the Zone's news channel.

-Mr. Wayne what do you mean by saying financing this public library? - asked one woman from the crowd of reporters.

-I mean we will provide this library with opportunities to increase their books collection and what not. I'm not very familiar with what exactly libraries do to provide their services to people but we most definitely going to make this place nice and welcoming for everyone.

-What about safety Mr. Wayne. - asked a reporter. - Zones are notoriously known for their high crime rates.

Bruce looked on Justice but she seemed unbothered with this question.

-We will make it as safe as possible but unfortunately crime rate is high everywhere nowadays so we as citizens of Gotham just have to be careful and responsible in the same time.

-Responsible for what Mr. Wayne? For crime? -

-For criminals?

-For failing justice system?

Questions were dropping on Bruce from everywhere.

-No! Responsible for our future! Everyone should work towards better Gotham! That is going to be all! Thank you so much for your time! All further questions you can ask my fundraising team and also we got a presentation on our website on how we well rebuild this library!

A lot of people were clapping including Justice and Mrs.Milfred.

-Thank you so much for you generosity Mr.Wayne! - said an old librarian. - But does it mean we have to close for the time of construction?

-My team is going to be here tomorrow and they will be glad to discuss all possibilities for your library being open during the construction. - Bruce hugged Mrs.Milfred and walked to Justice.

-Hey! Nice speech Mr.Wayne. - said a man with whom Justice was talking during the press conference.

-This is Logan Hunter. - Justice introduced her acquaintance

-Nice to meet you. I watch your reportage about the library. Very touching and eye opening.

-Oh I'm sure Mr.Wayne at least I opened your eyes right?

-Right! And here I am but first, Justice could you show me your restroom, please?

-Mr.Wayne our restroom is a dangerous place to go. We are trying not to use it the floors are weak.

-Oh. But I swear I will be carful there is no chance I can get back without using some "me time" - Bruce smiled innocently and Justice walked him to the restroom.

He had a plan for the next month Bruce Wayne had to disappear from news and office radars. Alfred was going to handle all incoming and outgoing emails and phone calls but Bruce Wayne had to be unreachable. Why? Because Batman needed all possible resources all time and all attention. Something was up and Batman had to step in and solve that Evan's riddle. So Bruce Wayne went to the library restroom and despite all advices of being careful as soon as the door closed he jumped right on the weakest part of a floor…
