Dante, Nero, Lady, and Trish rode their bikes through the ruined city streets on their bikes. According to Morrison the informant Eliza Greenwood was hold up in a museum. Lady consulted a map Morrison had given the group and used it to navigate the streets. After several minutes of driving they came across the building that appeared to be the museum. It looked like it was in much better shape then most of the neighboring buildings. The four devil hunters found a nearby parking garage to stash their bikes and they started to head to the museum.
"We're being watched." Said Trish.
"I know. Just got to wait for them to make their move." Said Dante.
At that moment a Hell Vanguard and a dozen Hell Prides jumped down from the neighboring buildings and stood before the devil hunters with their scythes raised ready to fight. Nero prepared to pull out Red Queen, but Dante stopped him and the others with a raised hand.
"I got this. Been a while since I busted these bone heads." Said Dante as he pulled out his pistols and began to shoot the demons.
Four Hell Prides hit the ground dead as the others charged forward. Dante put his guns away and pulled out Rebellion and leaped forward slicing the eight Hell Prides to bits. The Hell Vanguard let out a roar and charged towards Dante, who smirked and rushed at the oncoming demon. The raced by each other with incredible speed and stopped. For several seconds nothing happened. The Hell Vanguard turned towards Dante and tried to rush at him and attack his exposed back, but only took a couple of steps before his body split in two and the demon collapsed to the ground dead.
"That was a good warmup." Said Dante as he put his sword up.
"Incredible." Said a new voice coming from the museum.
Everyone turned to see a woman with brown hair, green eyes, wearing a black shirt, jeans, glasses, and shoes.
"Eliza Greenwood, I presume." Said Lady.
"I am Eliza Greenwood, a historian and researcher of the Order of the Sword. It is an honor to meet you descendants of Sparda and your allies." Said the woman bowing her head.
"Nice to meet you, so I hear you have some info on the demons that wrecked this place." Said Dante.
"I do. Please come in, I'll tell you everything I know." Said Eliza as she ushered Dante and the others in.
Eliza locked the door and pressed a button that put a shutter down. She then lead the devil hunters past some exhibits and towards what appeared to be a office.
"Tell do you know what the seven deadly sins of man are?" Asked Eliza.
"Let's see there's pride, wrath, avarice otherwise known as greed, sloth, gluttony, lust, and envy." Said Nero.
"Very good. You know about the sins and those are the demons that are responsible for what's happening to the city." Said Eliza.
"What do you mean?" Asked Dante.
"Well you see long ago there were seven demons who were the very embodiment of the seven deadly sins. They went about spreading wickedness and chaos across the world, until Sparda struck them down. Unfortunately these particular demons couldn't be completely destroyed. Their physical bodies may have been destroyed, but their essences lived on. The Seven Deadly Sins could still influence the world in their spiritual forms, but it wasn't as strong as when they had physical forms. Sparda knew the Seven would one day return in physical form to cause trouble, so he created a couple of amulet to capture their essences in hopes of finally destroying them once and for all." Said Eliza.
"Great, so where are these amulets?" Asked Dante.
"Unfortunately both amulets fell into the Seven's hands. I believe Avarice has one of them. His currency occupying the financial district. As for the other I believe Envy might have it and she's currently located not too far from here." Said Eliza.
"Well I guess we're going to give Envy a call." Said Dante.
Eliza let them out and the four devil hunters headed to the park to confront Envy.
To be continued.
