The train started whistling outside while Ed and Al are playing cards as Isabella watches. "Discarding two." Ed said while drawing two cards. 'Jeez, more junk.' Ed thought as he looks at Al. "Just discard already!" Ed said to him. "Sorry. I'll take two as well." Al said while drawing cards and his eyes widen at what he drew. "Holy!" Al gasped out. "Hey, brother, wanna double the bet?" Al asked him.
"Suit yourself." Ed said to him. "Sorry, I've got a full house." Al said while revealing the full house. "I'm sorry too. Royal flush." Ed said while revealing the royal flush. "No way! I thought for sure I'd win for once!" Al said while gathering some cards. "Okay, this time I'm gonna-" Al couldn't finish when Ed lays back.
"I quit. I'm bored." Ed said to him. "Bored? Bored of what? Winning? You haven't lost yet. Why don't you lose on purpose for a while?" Al asked him. "It's not about the cards, Al. It's who we gotta see. Mustang." Ed said while picking up a joker card and sighs. "You don't wanna meet with him?" Al asked him.
"Of course I don't, Al! Our best lead on the stone turned out to be fake. All this searching, we've got nothingto show for it." Ed said to him."But we've done lots of good." Al said to him. "Good? Good goes on a militaryreport in a side bar for collateral damage. I can see his face. His sarcastic little quips. Just thinking about it..." Ed said while eating a dumpling. "...makes me completely nauseous." Ed said with a mouth full of dumplings in his mouth.

Isabella's POV
The three of us got off the train and stopped here in Aquroya. "You sure it's okay to stop? We're supposed to go straight to East City." I asked Ed who is eating. "It's right on the way. Maybe we'll find something about the Philosopher's Stone and avoid a lecture. Besides, Aquroya's a tourist hot spot. I've always wanted to check it out." Ed said to me as he continues eating. "Feels kinda like we're playing hooky, don't you think?" Al asked him as he stops eating and faced us.
"Stop being so-" Ed couldn't finish when some cards came out of his sleeve. 'Is he cheating or something?' I thought to myself as Al picks one of the cards up. "What do we have here? What an oddly good hand of cards!" Al said as he then see Ed running off. "Ed! You cheater, come back! I want everything you won from me! And I thought I was just unlucky!" Al called out as he runs after him. I sighed at this and run after as well.
Psiren's POV
I threw my cards at the police making that poor man fall back and I jumped off and landed, unaware that the detective and his entourage are gaining up on me. "Keep running, gentleman! I want zero mistakes! Tonight is the night we catch her!" The detective ordered his entourage as I made it to a dead-end part and faced that detective and his entourage.
"Finally a dead end, Psiren. Can't walk on water." That detective said to me. But then I revealed my cards and tossed them in the water, then they made a path for me via alchemy. Then I walked on it. "What are you waiting for, boys?" The detective called as he and his entourage fell into the water while I got to the end with the prize in my hand and smirked at my success.
Isabella's POV
The three of us looked around the city of Aquroya. "It is a beautiful city, isn't it?" I asked Ed. "I'll say. Aquroya, the city of water, and perennial tourist magnet. It sure beats the heck outta that East City dust-bowl and having to see the Colonel's know-it-all grin, don't you think?" Ed asked me when a carriage came by and had his body covered in mud, which made him go mad at this.
"What the hell's your problem, pal?!" Ed called out. "Well, it is the city of water." Al said as Ed growls andclaps his hands together and used alchemy to make himself clean, when he was handcuffed by a detective. "Hey, shouldn't we talk first?" Ed questioned when his wrist was yanked up by the detective. "You're comin' to the station. I got some questions for you and your little blonde haired girlfriend, alchemist." The detective said to him as we look on and I blushed at what he said. "Girlfriend?" I questioned on that word.

The three of us are at the police station and we told the detective everything about us, while Ed is eating. "So, you're tellin' me you two are with the State? And that you two are the famous Fullmetal and Flower, heroes of the people." The detective said to us. "How many times do we have to say it, chief? Those watchesshould be proof enough." Ed said to him with a mouth full of food and I sweat-dropped at his impoliteness.
'Easy there, little pig.' I thought. "Sure, if they're real. But I have my doubts. I say you're too short for a hero, and your blonde haired girlfriend is too pretty for a heroine." The detective said as Ed and I got mad the wordshe said. "WHO YOU CALLIN' SO SMALL, YOU WANNA CRUNCH LIKE AN ANT?!" Ed stammered at him.
"JUST BECAUSE I'M NOT HIS GIRLFREIND, THAT DOESN'T MEAN I CAN'T BE HERONIE!" I stammered at him as well. "Brother, Isabella, please. He didn't say anything like that." Al said to us. As we cooled down. "Sorry for the third degree, kids. Had totest you two. We've got a thief on our backs named Psiren, and we're all a little on edge." The detective said to us. "Psiren?" I questioned as Ed and I sat back down. "Yeah. Real name's unknown. Only lead we got is she uses alchemy. So I thought you two just might be connected. But you say you two are with the State, andboth the Fullmetal Alchemist and the Flower Alchemist, no less." The detective said to us.

The three of us stepped out of the police station. "Damn that guy! He kept saying the same things for three hours straight! He probably wears that hat to hide the hole in his brain." Ed said out of anger. "Yeah, you're right. He's being a real pain in my neck." I said out of anger as well. "Still, doesn't it concern you? A criminalusing alchemy to steal?" Al asked when Ed begins to feel ill. "Oh crud." Ed cursed while crouching down and holding his stomach. We then turn to face him. "Hey, Ed. Are you okay?" I asked him. "Brother? You don't look so good." Al said to him. "My stomach feels..." Ed said to us while he has an ill look on his face.

The three of us are at the hospital and a doctor then figured out Ed's problem. "Well, it looks like a little bit of food poisoning, that's all." The doctor said to us. "It's not from eating too much?" I asked him. "Oh shut up." Ed said to me. "We'll need to give you an injection. Clara." The doctor called as the three of us look on. "Injection?" The three of us questioned him in unison.
"Yeah. Just a poke." The doctor said to us when Ed started running out in fear. "No! Get away from me! I don't need it!" Ed said out of fear as Al grabbed him and pulled him back in the room with me helping him do that. "It's just a little needle. You'll be fine." I said to him. "I feel better! I'm cured!" Ed said out of fear.
"Don't be a baby. Take off your coat." I said to him. "I hate you, Al! Why do you wanna sell out your own brother?! And I hate you too, Isabella! Why do you wanna sell out your own partner?! You're all evil!" Ed said to us out of fear. "You don't mean that." The two of us said sadly.
"I'll turn you all into fish!" Ed said out of fear when a finger was placed on his upper lip and a nurse named Clara was smiling at him as she does this. Then she pulls back. "There. You're all done, Ed. That didn't hurt at all, did it?" Clara asked him. "Fast work. You didn't even notice." Al said to him. "And after all that fuss." Clara said to her.
"Yeah, so what's your point?" Ed asked her as she chuckles. "We all have to grow up sometime, right?" Claraasked him. "So, is the rude commentary included in the bill?" Ed asked her as Al looks on at this Clara woman. She seems like a nice lady while I looked jealous at the sight of it and glared at her.

The three of us are outside. "She was so good at her job. Smart. And gorgeous, too. I can't stop thinking about her." Al said. "You've got the weirdest taste in women, Al. She was a bad gift in pretty wrapping." Ed said to him. "He's right, Al. I am the only women in the team, I'm the only one." I said to him. As Al looks at the other way.
"That won't do, Mrs. Crabnick. You can't get better on an empty stomach." Clara said to the old woman. "I'm sorry. I just can't get it down. It hurts my teeth." The woman said to her. "Well that bread's too tough, isn't it? We'll have to make you something tastier." Clara said to the woman as I saw.
*Ed and Al's Flashback begins*
The two are by their mother's bed. "You all right with that, Ed?" Their mother asked him. "Of course. Just giveme a minute." Ed said to her. "That looks dangerous. Let me do it, brother. You'll hurt yourself." Al said to him.
"I'm fine! Back off!" Ed hissed when their mother began taking both the knife and the apple and started peeling it for him as Al looks on. "There we go." Their mother while handing the two a plate with apple pieces on it. "Why don't you boys eat it?" Their mother suggested with a smile on her face.
*Ed and Al's Flashback ends*
"Al, you still with me?" Ed called making Al snap out of it and face him. "Yeah, sorry. We were just thinking That nurse, Clara, there's something really giving, calming about her. She kind of reminds me of mom." Al said to him. "Don't be ridiculous! That woman's nothing like her." Ed said to us when we hear a plate fall and break. "I've gotten so clumsy." The woman said to Clara.
"Don't worry about it. It's just a piece of fruit." Clara said to her when she was about to pick up the slices when Al came by and drew a circle around the slices with Al helping her while Ed and I watched. Then the he used alchemy to make the apple whole and clean again while Clara gasped at this turn of events. "Good as new." Al said while giving Clara the apple. "You're alchemists. I didn't realized that." Clara said to her.
"Yeah, well, it's a long story kinda." I said to her when we hear someone coming. "Mr. Elric! Ms. Rockbell! ! Ms. Rockbell!" We hear the detective called and stopped in front of us catching his breath. "Let's make a tape saying "Ed and I are innocent." "You can play it back all you want." I said to him. "I know you two are, I know. Ah. And this time I'm asking you two for a favor." The detective said to me.

The three of us are at the police station with several officers in the room, and several bowls of ramen on the table and Ed is eating one of them. "Officers! Presenting State Alchemists, Master Edward Elric, and Mistress Isabella Rockbell! Salute!" The detective shouted when the officers saluted to us. "Jeez." Al said to himself. "So, what do you want?" Ed asked with a mouth full of ramen in his mouth and I sweat-dropped at this. 'Easy there, piggy.' I thought to myself.
"First I want to apologize for earlier, all those questions. I did what you and your partner said, sir, and got intouch with Colonel Mustang at the Eastern Command Center. I paid long distance and everything. He sounded nice. Angry, but nice. He said you and your partner really are State Alchemists. I sure pegged you two wrong." The detective said to him. "Like we said." I said to him. "Yes. Indeed, ma'am. In light of this newinformation, I wanted to ask you." The detective said to me when Ed shows him the empty bowl in his hand. "I'll need more." Ed said to him. "As much as you like." The detective said to him.

*Night Time*
Nightfall came and the three of us are with the detective while several people are cheering for Psiren to come. "This is it. Psiren's next mark. With you two on our side, that thief's hold on this city will finally unravel." The detective said to us. "Yeah. We'll do whatever we can tonight, but there's a lot of people, a lot of ways for things to go wrong." Ed said to him.
"Yeah, that sure is a heck of a lot of people." I said to him. "That's Psiren's M.O. Most thieves don't announcetheir heists before they happened. Psiren tells every paper in the country. Journalists, thrill-seekers, even Psiren groupies flock to see. It's become a spectator sport." The detective said to us. "It is quite a following." Al said to him. "Well the stardom ends tonight. It's amazing how quick your popularity fades when you're wearing stripes. I'm gonna check the security station." The detective said to us as he leaves us.
"We're kind of surprised you and Ed took this job." Al said to me. "Guess we're just curious. Yet another wayto use alchemy to do wrong." I said to her. We all started guarding when we hear a drop of water which just turns into a smoke bomb and we shielded ourselves. "Clever move." I stated when we see Psiren there.
"Come on, guys!" Ed said when something flew passed him and turns to see Al bound to the wall viathe cards Psiren threw. As the Psiren already opened the case and takes the prize all to herself and runs out with me and Ed on her tail. "Hey! Hold it!" I called out.
*FF*
Psiren was running on the roof and stops to see me and Ed in front of her. "Alchemy's the greatest thing wehumans have going for us. And yet here you are stealing with it and making things even worse! Not to mention we put up with a very mind-numbing interrogation because of you. I'd say you owe us a major apology." Ed said to her when she has a deck of cards in her and let out a breath and it turned into a sword.
Ed and I gasped at this as she attacked us and we jumped aside. I jumped aside when she almost attacked me and landed on my feet softly. Ed growls at this and started attacking her and she uses the sword she made to shield herself and he pins her down making her cards fall and me looking confused by this turn of events.
"You've just been pinned, Psiren." Ed said when he realizes that his hand was touching her chest and my eyeswiden at this. He moves back while blushing. "I didn't mean that!" Ed said to her as I freaked out while screaming at what he did. 'Damn it, this is outrageous! That was so perverted of him! Edward will pay for this, and I will hit him!' I thought as I fall back and sat back up. Then Psiren started to sit up.
"You've never fought with a woman before, have you? Makes for a whole new style of action." Psiren saidwhile unzipping her zipper just to reveal the circle on her chest, and the cards in her cleavage. Ed was then pulled back and pinned to the floor with cards via alchemy. I ran over to him to see if he was alright and he is.
"Hey! That was a dirty trick!" Ed and I said to her as she zips her top back to its place. "It's a shame I can't show you two my face. It's a real treat." Psiren said to us while she blows a kiss and runs off. "Sleep tight, pipsqueak and girlfriend." Psiren said to us as we stammered at what she said. "WHO ARE YOU CALLIN' APIPSQUEAK?! YOU KNOW I'D BE TALL TO IN HEELS!" Ed stammered at her. "I DON'T LIKE YOU! YOU HUSSY!" I stammered as well as he and I growled.

*The Next Day*
Ed and I are at the hospital looking for Al. "Al? Al!" Ed called while he and I are walking down thehall. "You think we could keep track of a seven foot suit of armor." Ed said to me. But I stopped in my tracks as Ed did the same. "Wait, Ed." I said to him. "What's wrong?" Ed asked me.
"There's something I forgot to mention about last night." I said to him. "And what's that?" Ed asked as I got him the answer. I slapped him across the face. "What was that for?" Ed asked me. "That was so perverted of you, touching a woman's chest like that!" I said to him out of anger. "That wasn't my fault, and I didn't mean to do that!" Ed said to me out of anger. "I don't wanna hear any more nonsense from you! Please, Ed. You can't do that to a woman. Just tell me that you're not gonna do something like that to a woman ever again, okay?" I asked him as he looked confused at what I said. But then he gave me and answer. "All right, Isabella. I won't do that again." Ed said to me. "Really?" I asked him as he nodded.
"Yeah, I won't do that." Ed said to me. "Are you alright?" Ed asked me as I nodded my head. "Yeah, I feel fine, but let's find Al." I said to him as he nod his head. "Yeah, you're right." Ed said as we continued to walk down the hall. But then we see a door half closed and Ed looks in. "What's wrong?" I asked as I look in. But we see Clara removing her ribbon and unbuttoning her shirt to reveal the circle tattooed on her chest and our eyes widen at this as she uses alchemy to make the top part of the flower disappear and she noticed me and Ed walking in.
"You two!" Clara exclaimed in shock. "What a surprise! The kind nurse is really Psiren, or do all women herehave tattoos on their chests?" Ed questioned as I leaned into his ear. "Um, that's also perverted, Ed." I whispered to him. "Sorry." Ed whispered back. "I... I don't know what you mean. But I can't talk. I just came into get some medicine." Clara said to us. "Right, and medicine that you manufacture using alchemy. Now drop the act, you lying fraud!" I said to her as she removes her hat with a smirk on her face.
"Come on now, little girl, who's telling lies? I did say that I was beautiful under the mask." Clara said in aflirtatious way as Ed and I got mad and stood in front of her. "That's hardly the point!" Ed and I said to her. "Edward? Isabella?" We hear someone called for us. "Brother, Isabella, bad news." Al said while walking in. "Is something wrong?" Al asked us.
"What do you think, guys? Look at her! That nurse you two thought was so great, she's Psiren. Thetransmutation circle's proof enough." I said to them. "The world isn't black and white, like you think. You kids are too young to understand. A lot can happen in a lifetime." Clara said to us. "Please." Ed stammered at her. "We understand." Al said as we face him.
"I have just found out. This hospital's scheduled to be demolished. Clara, you became a thief out of necessity, and compassion. You're trying to save this place, aren't you?" Al asked her. "Yeah. That's right. You think I like this, flinching at every passing patrol? But this hospital needs money, for all its patients. I needed too.." Clara couldn't finish when a single tear fell out of her eye and the three of us look on.
"See, Ed and Isabella. We told you she had heart. Just like your mother," Al said to us when we hear foot steps coming. "Mr. Elric! Ms. Rockbell! Mr. Elric! ! A new notice from Psiren!" We hear the detective called and coming in the room and looked confused by this. "Am Iinterrupting something? Mr. Elric? ?" The detective asked us.

*Night Time*
The three of us are with the detective outside of a mansion. "Looks like you've got less security this time." I said to him. "Yeah. Psiren's made mules of my men too many times. I'm trying something different. We've got alittle trap rigged up in that mansion, right next to her target." The detective said to me. "A trap?" I questioned him.
"Don't worry, you'll see it soon enough. No one will call our force incompetents anymore! I'll hang her little suit over my desk. But stick around. We'll need you if anything goes wrong." The detective said to me as he walks off leaving the three of us alone. "What are you going to do, you two?" Al asked us as we faced that mansion.

Psiren came in through the door via her alchemy with the water and takes her target, but soon realizes thatshe was tricked and a cage fell on her trapping her in. "Great. Now what?" Psiren cursed when she hears two clapping and that sound just use alchemy to free her and she smirked at this turn of events.

Psiren made a break for it when she ends up meeting with me and Ed. "Thanks, kids." Psiren said to us. Thenwe had our backs turned in front of hers. "It was a good break. Why'd you help?" Psiren asked us. "It's nothing personal. We weren't helping you. We know a little about bending the rules sometimes to do what's right. It's for the hospital." I said to her as she chuckles and Ed and I faced her. "What's so funny?" I asked her as she faced us.
"Nothing. You just sounded so grown up." Psiren said to us as Ed blushes at her words, and so do I. "We are grown up, okay!" Ed and I said to her. "Is that so? Well as an all grown up woman, I always repay my favors. Isthere something you'd like for me to do, Mr. all grown-up-man and Ms. all-grown-up-woman?" Psiren asked us. "Actually, there is one thing. You're a savvy alchemist. You must've heard of the Philosopher's Stone. We want you to tell us anything that you know about it. We have to get it, no matter what, or how long it takes!" I said to her.
"Sorry, Isabella. I can't help you and Ed with that. But how about this? If you ever do figure out where a stoneis, tell me and I'll be happy to steal it for you." Psiren said to me as she began to walk off, but we stopped her. "Hey. We're happy that you can do this for the hospital." Ed said to her as she smiles. "Yeah. Thanks to you and Isabella, Ed." Psiren said to him.
*The Next Day*
An explosion occurred from where the hospital was and the three of us looked shocked when the hospital wastotally demolished. "What's going on here? Don't tell me that flake tricked us." I said out of shock. "That couldn't be! Clara's the last person who would do something like that. This has to be a mistake!" Al said as he faced us.
"The only mistake here is inside that metal skull of yours, Al! She robbed you of your senses, and played you like freaking harps!" Ed said to the him out of anger. "Don't say that, brother. You know what'll happen!" Al said to him. "Brothers and friend shouldn't argue. It's sinful." We hear a voice said and we turn to see Clara and gasped to see her in a nun outfit. "Are we imagining this?" Al questioned us. "Wish you were." Ed and I said to them.

The three of us are with Clara, or "Sister Clara" as she would refer to herself, in front of the altar. "It's terrible about the hospital. I tried to save it, but I couldn't get the money in time. I was devastated. The guilt was too much. I didn't know how to go on. So I became a nun." Clara said to us.
"Poor Clara." Al said sadly. "Yeah, I bet." I said to them. "It's the truth, Isabella. But those who do believe will be saved. The great Lord has told me there are otherplaces that need me, like this convent we're standing in. It's scheduled to be demolished, too! I only pray I can help!" Clara said to me as she began crying. "You'll do it, Clara. Youjust need to try harder this time. We'll hope however we can." Al said to her as Ed and I look so disappointed by all this.

*Night Time*
The three of us are at the hotel and Ed and I shared a room and began talking to each other. "Yeah, so? What do you want me to do about Clara, Edward?" I asked him. "She's nothing but a con-artist, and she's also that thief Psiren. But you already knew that." Ed said to me. "Edward, this is about revealing that false prophet'strue colors back in Liore, isn't it? Is this appendence?" I asked him.
"No." Ed said to me. "Sure it is. It's just like how you told Rose to walk on her own and move forward with agood strong pair of legs. It's startin' to get into your blood, you're startin' the search again, or maybe I just imagined that." I said to him as I stood up from the chair and grabbed the towel and my nightgown. "Sure that's what you said to Rose."You've got a good strong pair of legs". What does that make me if I tag alongwith you? That's what I wanna know." I asked him as I leave for the shower.
"You've always been there for me when we're accepting missions after we became partners. I appreciate that." Ed said to me as I turned on the shower and let my body and hair soak and I washed my hair. "He appreciates that. You're somethin' else, Ed. If you're gonna join me in catching that con-artist again, I'm gonna have to watch your back from now on. Why should I do that when she has that circle tattooed on her chest? Come on, I'm really tired of it." I said to him as I finished washing my hair and turned the water off.
"Remember when we were in Youswell? You said you were my partner. If you were my partner, then thatmeans I'm here to back you up. But as you partner, I'm nothing more than just your we hadn't cometo this city, I've probably would've received another mission. But we did come, in order to inspect the coalmine there. And if we needed to inspect, you need a partner to help you all the way." Ed said to me through the door.
"The punishment of death for the villains." I said as I came out of the shower with my nightgown on and atowel around my neck to dry my hair. "Don't you know it? It's the word of the State Alchemist that's written in your heart." I said to him as I sat down to his level while he's laying on the bed.
"Edward, what type of person are you? A determined person? A kind-hearted person? Or maybe a romantic type person?" I asked him as he faced me. "You're like me when someone calls us love birds. Nobody even knows what my feelings were for you. It's a real cheep, but it always helps." I said to him as he blushed at my comments, and I blushed as well and looked into each other's eyes. Then we started to lean in as we're almost about to kiss when Al came bursting through the doors.
"Brother! Isabella! More news!" Al said as we both jumped and faced him. "Yeah, what is it?" Ed asked him. "Yeah, what's up?" I asked him as well. "There's saying Psiren struck again! The whole city's in an uproar! She did convent is gonna be saved!" Al said to us.

*The Next Day*
An explosion occurred from where the church was and the three of us are shocked when the church was totallydemolished like the hospital was. "It has to be a mistake. Maybe she couldn't find someone to sell what she-" Al was cut off by Ed. "Have your brains turned to mush?! She's a con-artist, Al! She's been snowing us for a good laugh! The only saving she's doing is in her bank account!" Ed said to him. "Don't start that again! That's not how she is!" Al said to him. "Do I need to put you three kids in a corner?" We hear a voice ask us as we turn to see who it was, and we all gasped to see Clara with a couple of children with her and in a new look.
"Great! And which dress-up-doll outfit are you wearing today, Clar-" I was cut off by Al. "I know! You're a school teacher, right? You're working for a school that's about to be shut down. And this time you won't be too late. Isn't that right, Clara? Isn't it?" Al asked her. "You guessed it. But, maybe we shouldn't talk about itwith the K-I-Ds?" Clara said to her.
"Like you care. Stop jerking us around. What are you, really? Nothing but a thief, after all? A common criminal,who uses alchemy for her own selfish gains?" Ed asked her. "That's a very good question, Ed. But as I tell my children, students, the best answers, we find on our own." Clara said to him.

The three of us are walking down the streets of Aquroya. "Extra! Extra! Phantom Thief Psiren announces hernext big time mark!" We hear a paper guy shout as Ed and I got mad about this. "Why do you people buy into that junk? She's nothing but a thief who's feeding off of the attention." I asked one man whose reading the paper. "What are you talking about? We owe Psiren for saving this place. Attention's the least we can give. She's Aquroya's star of hope." The man said to me. "You're gonna have to explain that one to us." Ed said tohim.
"We're the city of water. And we're sinking by several feet a year. Come see us in five years time, and thewhole place will be at the bottom of the lake. News like that isn't exactly good for the economy. When it wentto the public, everyone who could left. The rest of us, well... We got lonely, sad. That's when she appeared. Psiren. Like a lit match on a fuse, the city burst into life. Reporters came from all over, tourists flocked here again for a chance to see her. I guess theonly thing I can say is this. She tricked me, the Fullmetal Alchemist. And she's at least going to pay for that." Ed said to them. "And that's not all. She also tricked me, the Flower Alchemist. And she will pay for it as well." I said to them as well.

Nightfall came and Ed was on a boat while I was standing where I was, above the water. Then Psiren came onboat and see us there. "I thought you two'd show up. It's phenomenal isn't it? A date here, on the water, in the moonlight, just the three of us." Psiren said to us. "Shut up, thief." I said to her from afar. "Oh dear, romance me with small talk! Yes, a thief. Someone obsessed with objects that don't belong to them." Psiren said as she removes her mask to reveal her true persona, Clara.
"Like the Philosopher's Stone." Psiren aka Clara said to us. "Maybe. It's funny. Every crook we meet wants totell us how much we are to them. But there's a big difference between us, and the burdens we bear." Ed saidto her. "Yes, bear. Love to." Psiren said as she unzips her top to reveal her tattoo and uses alchemy to createtwo water tornadoes, and they attacked Ed, sending him into the water and I gasped at this. "See 'ya, kid." Psiren said when she notices something from underneath her boat.
As he uses alchemy to create a giant hand and Psiren closed her eyes at this as it traps her inside and Ed smirks at this, but soon realizes that he's running out of air due to being underwater too long. "Can't breathe!" Ed said under the water as he tries to swim back up. I jumped in and grabbed Ed's hand and swam back up to the surfaces and we came up to where I stood on. We're both on our knees and he started coughing, but I placed my hand on his back to help him breathe.
"Thanks, Isabella. You're a life saver." Ed said to me. "You're welcome, Edward." I said to him as I sigh. "You're such a pain, Ed. You really are such a pain." I said to him as he sweat-drops at what I said to him. "Thanks for the endorsement, Isabella." Ed said to me. "You're welcome, Ed. But never mind that, we caught that thief right where we wanted her, right?" I asked him as he nodded his head. "Yeah, we did. And it's all thanks to our teamwork, partner." Ed said to me. "Yeah, it really is teamwork, partner." I said to him as we both stood up and see the police coming.

Psiren is all cuffed up and I was standing with Ed while Al are standing with us. "That was pretty sharp, kid. I'm sure you and Isabella are gonna be fine grown-ups. When you two are, let's do this deal again. It's always more fun when it's a woman and a man, with another woman with him." Psiren said to him. "What does that mean?" I questioned at what she said as Alice placed a hand on my shoulder. "Clara." Al said sadly. "But let me offer you one last little kernel before they haul me off. About a certain funny stone." Psiren said as Ed faced her. "Go to thecity of Xenotime and take a good look. I've heard there's someone there who's researching the components behind it. Maybe he could help you out." Psiren said to him. "Xenotime." Ed questioned as I faced Al.

The three are on a train leading towards Xenotime and Ed and Al began talking about what happened while Edeats a bowl of ramen. "Come on, Al, are you still holding a grudge on me and Isa? We had no choice, youknow. We were the officers, and she was the crook. We just played our parts." Ed said to him.
"That's not true. She's not a crook. You've told me plenty of times that you can't always go by therules, or follow the norms when you're doing what's right. Clara, she's kind. And giving. And heroic! You thinkthe same thing, brother. I'm sure you do." Al said to him. "I don't know, Al. When it comes to her, I guess Inever will." Ed said to him.

Meanwhile somewhere in Aquroya. Psiren is in a carriage with the detective. "Hey. It's an oven in here. I don't guess you'd mind unzipping me a little?" Psiren asked him. Then a scream was heard and an explosionoccurred and Psiren make a run for it and jump into the air in her return.
