After Martha meet her sister for Earth which she is happy to see but there must be something wrong with the planet. She also that her husband is thinking the same as her because of Jenny's safety in the balance. She is very happy to see her human self-sister after the thing with the master with the world.
"So why are you want us back to Earth Tish?" Martha asks the young black woman to see why she was called to come back to Earth.
"The reason that we need you and the Doctor help with something that could be dangers to the planet," Tish explains with a worried look on her that Martha sees when she is over worked at times with jobs.
After the group meet with Tish and she decide to call in some people in black with red hats on. Where Tish got the job by the Doctor telling the people that is in change because he used to work with the group. It is call UNIT and they deal with aliens that could destroy the planet when the Doctor is not, they to help out or when he changes into a new man.
"There are some people that are deeding to meet the two of you," Tish said to both of time lords.
"I wish that I could say the same," the Doctor replied to Tish as he saw one big convoy of unit.
When Tish shows the Doctor and family and Donna a field base for their work. The Doctor wanted to see a very old friend of his when he worked for Unit. The one thing that he doesn't like about the original is the numbers of guns and he wants keep his family safe and sound.
As the group see a colonel of the small group of Unit and the Doctor is not happy to see a gun in the colonel Pouch. When he sees the Doctor walk into the room with a small group of people. One thing that he is thinking is can he help with problem with the world and how can he help with them. What Unit is investigating a company call Atmos and their goal is to clean the air of CO2. The devise is put into a car to recuse the CO2 and Unit think that it is alien in their opinion and they just want to make sure that it is safe for the people on the planet.
"You must be the Doctor and it is my honour to meet you at last," the colonel said to the Doctor as he slowly put his hand to his head.
"Just stop with that and I don't like it when people do that," the Doctor told the colonel who nods to that statement.
Jenny looks at her dad with shot on her face to find something new about him that she didn't know before. She slowly turns her head to her mum to see if she knows about this and she nods her head to say that she knows about this with her husband.
"If you don't mind I with have one," Donna wants what the Doctor heat the most.
When the colonel looks at the time lord to see if that is okay with him and he nods to say yes for Donna, ma'am."
After that Donna is happy it happens to her as she looks at Martha and Jenny to see if the two wanted one. The two-time ladies don't want to get what the doctor doesn't like about the army all of his time travelling in the universe as a hole.
The next thing that the group go into the factor to see if there something bad inside the place as a hole. Both the Doctor and Martha want to keep an eye on their daughter just in case if danger come to them which always happened to the group only that they don't look for it in the first place.
"So is the thing that you want me to look at," the Doctor ask the colonel and Tish see to device to look at it to see if it is safe for humans as a hole.
"We need you to look a device called Atmos we want to see if it safe for everyone to use it for the public," Tish explains to the Doctor and his wife because the two are not human.
"So, you want the two of us to help to see if this is alien or not," Martha said as Tish and the colonel nods their head to say yes to it so that her and the Doctor can get to work.
As the two-time lords got to work on looking at Atmos to make sure that is safe for humans to use in the first place. One thing the two can't decide on if it human made or not because it looks that it is something that could be used in the future of mankind. One thing that both of them can agree on that someone must help in the making of this device.
"Is this device man made or not?" the colonel ask as he walk into the room were the Doctor and his wife are doing their job for Unit.
"We do think that it is man but I like to meet who this because its brilliants device," the Doctor explains what he thinks on the device to the colonel.
As the colonel slowly walk to the Doctor and Martha but the two are not happy about the colonel having a gun on him.
"Do you mind if you stand back for me," he told the colonel who step back from him.
"Have I done something wrong to you?" the colonel asks the Doctor to know why that he had to step away from the man.
"It is that you have a gun and I don't like them in the first place," the Doctor said to the human and then he turns to his wife who gives a look at him. He knows that Martha knows about the reason why that he doesn't like the weapons, "you know that I don't them because of some of my enemies have guns to start with as a hole."
"Ok, what about the war with our people with the Darlaks," Martha reminded her husband who is not happy the war that he had to burn their planet.
Then Donna and Jenny walks into the room to see if the Doctor and Martha knows about the work force in the building. As the cupule looks up to see their friend and daughter and they are wondering what the two have found about people in the building as a hole. What Donna has in her hands is something important for the Doctor and Unit as hole about the workers of the building with days off from the work.
"Well you lot about your guns and sonic devices," Donna told the Doctor, Martha and the colonel to get their attention, "you should have come with me."
"Where you been if you don't mind me asking you?" Martha ask both Donna and her daughter to know what the two have found in the first place.
"Me and Jenny have been in personal and found no sick days. All the workers don't stick," Donna explains to the two-time lords and the colonel who has a blank look on their faces, "you should be looking at all of the work force and not just the building itself."
"I will get Tish to set up a station to check on that part," the colonel decide to try and find Tish to get her to do some checks on the work force at the place.
After both the doctor and Martha are thinking that something is inside the small device and they wants to know what it is. One thing that they want to know more is who made it the first place so that they can talk to the person and why that they did in the first place because they must had helped with it as well.
"We got some information you and your wife if you two want to hear it?" the colonel ask the time lords and they nods to say yes to him.
"Luke Rattigan and he is a child genius and got his own school outside of London and it full of genius," the colonel explains to the time lords.
"I do think that me and my wife need to meet him today," the Doctor replied to the colonel.
"How do the two of you going to get there just for me to ask you Doctor?" the colonel ask both of the time lords.
"Just get us a jeep to go to the Rattigan," the Doctor told the colonel.
"With some information that we have on you sir and that you travel by Tardis."
"well we think that it is best to keep a time machine away from the front line as much as possible, don't you think?"
"So the two of you do have weapons and you don't show them."
After the colonel get the Doctor and Martha a jeep to go see Luke Rattigan but the driver is from Unit. One thing that the two decide on that Jenny comes with them. When the two see Donna walking up to them to get a ride in the jeep to go home for a visit her family.
In the jeep is being by a man who is wearing all in but his hat is red and the name of the man is Ross. He has to make a stop on the way to the place that the two-time lords want to go.
When Donna got out of the car to go to her to leave the two-time lords and their daughter to have a nice talk Luke Rattigan about Atmos.
"How come you Atmos in the cars at you lot think that it is dangerous to the people?" Martha ask Ross to know why that it is in all of the car at Unit.
"Well we can't get rid of them in till we find a problem with them. To be honest with you it drives me around the bend," Ross explains to the three in the jeep.
"Oh, nice one," the Doctor is laughing his head off.
"What does that mean?" Jenny ask both her parents to see if they know the answer.
"Well it means that it is anointing him," Martha answer her daughter's question about Atmos is doing to the and how he is not like it at all.
When the 4 got to the place that need to go and all they could see is a man in his early 20s. His name is Luke Rattigan and he is the inventor of Atmos and if it goes wrong then he is at blame for it. He wearing a purple t-shirt with black jeans and he knows that Unit is looking into him and his school that he came up with himself. One thing that he knows that the Doctor and Martha will be seeing him and he is hoping that the two don't find out who he is working for and why?
"So must be the Doctor and Martha," Luke Rattigan said to the time lords, "your commander in chief phoned head to let me know that that were coming."
"We haven't got a commander in chief by the way," Martha told Rattigan and he didn't care.
In the mine of Martha is something about this man doesn't look right to her. She thinking what a man like him trying to save the planet by lowering the CO2 but he must be the middle man in this thing as a hole. Would her husband think of the same thing about Rattigan that he is working for someone but who could that be and why they using a young boy to do their dirty work?
Back at the Atmos factory where Tish is doing some checks on some of that the worker in the place. One thing that she is thinking on how Martha got the better job on going to Luke Rattigan's school to speak to the man himself. As she doing some checks on one of worker at the place and wondering why these people are working for 24 hours every day?
Deep down in her mind that something must be wrong with all the workers at the she must tell the colonel about the information with all of workers.
As Tish leaves the place that she has been working on some of the workers of the factory to find the colonel. When she starts to walk to get her boss to give him some information for herself. Then two soldiers comes on both sides of her. She finds the behaviour of the two men weren't right to her because they looks like that they're in a trans of kind. She thinks that she must take it one step at time with the two men without making trouble on herself as she is the one who they want to take.
"Tish Jones, do you have level 1 clearance?" one of the men ask to see what she would say.
"Yes I do why?" Tish ask the two men to see why they are asking a question that they know the answer.
"It because the colonel wants to see and it is very important that you us now," the other man answer the question.
"That good because I need to talk to him about something important that he hear from me and it is about all of the workers in this and that in my opinion that it aliens involved some how?" she explains to the two men that are leading her into a trap.
As the three are walking all that Tish can think about is that the two acting differently than usual. Should she try and run from the men or not? The answer in her head is telling her to let the men lead her and then try to find a way out of this mess.
As they got the place Tish then knows that it is a trap and is made for her without her knowing it at the time. Both of the men takes her to a metal table and she wants to know why she there in the place but she will find soon enough.
Back the school where the Doctor, Martha, Jenny and Ross with Luke Rattigan. When the group got to Luke's living room and the Doctor and Martha see something unusual in a home.
"Hey dear is that what I think it is?" Martha ask her husband to see what he thinks on it.
"I think you right on this one," the Doctor agree with his wife.
"What are you talking about?" Jenny ask both her parents to get the answer from them.
"Well is thing where," Martha answer her daughter and points at a large cube with a purple light in the middle.
"What is it ma'am and sir?" Ross ask the time lords to find what the thing is.
"That what I like about things and it is just thing," as the time lord said to Ross as he slowly walks up to it.
"Leave it alone," Luke said with a angry tone in voice with the Doctor.
As the Doctor touch a button the device and he disappears every one in the room. Jenny didn't know what to think on her dad disappear right in front of her. She slowly turns her head to her mum that had a look saying that she about this device and it is a teleport. Martha knows that it could be one of her husband old enemies.
When the doctor got on to a ship and one of his old enemies. As he see a group of small with potato heads and he knows who they are and he is not happy with it.
"We have an intruder," one of alien said as it see the Doctor, "take arms and kill him."
"How did he get in?" the Doctor ask one of his enemies that knows that they wants him dead at end of this.
When he got back to his family and his wife knows that something bad happened to be all worried the planet. He quickly runs to his family and try to protect as best as he could from one of his oldest enemies. As soon he got to his family and then he see a man in armour.
"Sontaran, that I am right," as the Doctor name one of his enemies that he hadn't seen in long time and he slowly turns his to his daughter, "just stay behind okay."
"Now we are in trouble and what do we do now?" Martha ask her husband to if he has any ideas in his mind.
"Just try to take it one step at this point," he told his wife.
"This is pointless to the universe," a hisses come from the Sontaran.
The next that the group is at the Sontaran taking off his helmet to show his face. The head of the Warrior look like one big bake potato and Jenny is trying not to laugh at the Sontaran but she couldn't hold laughing it but both of her parents are worried about just in case if she gets shot by the alien.
Ross put his gun to the Sontaran but he couldn't fighter it because of something that both and the Doctor and Martha why that the work in the room. Both them are not happy with the Sontaran because they are worriers and they are not facing a bullet. The had to explain why that the gun didn't work into the room to Ross and he is not happy about his gun at all.
"Shouldn't you lot face a built as a warrior instead of a coward," the Doctor call the Sontaran and his wife knows that he did one big mistake.
The Sontaran looks deep into the Doctor and the he saw in the man that he has seen a lot in time. It want to kill the Doctor and everyone that is standing behind him but Luke Rattigan because he is helping them to take over the world.
"So tell us your name and no one will get hurt after this," Martha said to the Sontaran without getting shot by it.
"My name is General Staal," the Sontaran told everyone in the room, "Staal the undefeated."
"Now that one bad name that I have ever heard," the Doctor is about to insult Staal, "what if you were defeated? Would that mean that your will forget about you."
"I might need to add a very good point to you," Martha told Staal as she picks up a bat with a ball and starts to play with it, "all of the have one weakness in all. Which I think me and my husband do think it is very good one because they have a vent at the back of their neck. It means that they have face their enemies forward instead of behind them. So face this!"
As soon as Martha hit ball with the bat and the ball bout on to the cube and then go to Staal's neck. As he fell, on to the floor he is in a lot of pain but the Doctor, Martha, Jenny and Ross all decide to run out of the building and out of dangers.
Luke wants to help Staal up from the ground but the Sontaran didn't want any help from the boy. Staal decides to take Luke to the ship to see the plan that they have been working to take over the world.
"That man called himself the Doctor, I think," Luke said to Staal and his face is not happy to hear that name.
"My people had an enemy that was named the Doctor," Staal explain to the young boy, "I think that a normal death should be fitting for that man."
On the road where the Doctor's car try to kill him with his family and Ross by going into the river. Then Martha come up with a plan to get out of the car and that is order it to go into the river.
