Danny awoke the next morning, confused about where he was for a few seconds. He heard some light snoring and looks down to see Kyodai laying next to him. Danny blushed, not used to walking up with a girl next to him. Still, she looked cute when she was sleeping.

Danny shook his head. He needs to get some breakfast, and they ate a lot of fish and other meats last night. He was able to get some water from the stream as drinking water. Now he has to head to the closest town and figure out how he was going to get Kyodai to leave with him.

Danny fished for a few more fish before cooking them for both himself and Kyodai. He could imagine how his family was worried sick about him. His dad would quickly think that he was kidnapped by ghosts but his mom knew better. Plus, Danny knew the ones that would kidnap him could easily be dealt with. Ghost or not.

Danny tests the fish before his foot kicks a bottle. He looks down and saw that it was the bottle of sake that Kyodai drank last night. Danny picks up the bottle and looks at it. He knew that sake was another word for alcohol. He never touched one and has no plans on doing so. But was sake really the same thing?

Danny smelled the inside of the bottle before almost gagging. It was strong that's for sure. He gave it a spin and hear a little splash inside. Try as he might, seeing Kyodai drinking it last night made him wonder how it taste. He looks around, seeing no one around.

'Over the teeth and push the gums. Look tummy, here it comes!' Danny thought before tipping the bottle to his lips.

The minute Danny tasted the sake, he started hacking. It was strong. Way stronger than he thought. He set the bottle down before grabbing the pail of water he got before drinking it to wash the taste away.

"Augh, I hope you're happy brain." He said, groaning.

"It's not for everyone."

Danny turns and saw Kyodai walking up, picking up the bottle.

"Plus, it's better to drink it out of the bowl." She said, pulling out a bowel.

Danny blinks as she poured more sake out of the bottle.

"What?" He asked.

"This is a special bottle. It refills everything it empties. I know it seems strange that I'm given huge barrels of sake when I have this bottle. Remember, the humans below fail to understand that I'm not like the Onis from the past." She said.

"When do you wake up?" He asked.

"When you brought the fish back. I thought you left for a few seconds." She said.

"Sorry. You were still sleeping, and I didn't want to wake you." Danny told her.

"It's fine." Kyodai smiles before grabbing one of the fish.

"I see you caught another monster." She said, testing it.

"Maybe I'm lucky?" Danny said, shrugging.

The fish wasn't as big as the last one, but it did put up a fight. Danny had to use his ghost strength to yank it out of the water.

Kyodai ate the fish as Danny took his. His trip back home would be a long one. At least, he won't be alone.

Later,

After getting their full, and putting out the fire. Kyodai gave one last look around her cave, knowing it would be a long time before she see it again. And possibly by then, another Oni would live there or some wild animal would make it their home. She grabs her things and walked over to Danny.

"Are you ready?" He asked, giving her time.

"Yes. The village is down this path. It will take a few days to reach there, however." She told him.

'If I can go ghost, I'll make it there in an hour, maybe less if I flew top speed.' Danny thought.

"Before we do, we need to make a stop at some place," Kyodai said, surprising him.

"Um, sure?" Danny asked, confused.

"Don't worry. It won't take long." She said, smiling.

Danny nods. He guessed that she may want to see a few people she knew to say goodbye to.

"So where to?" He asked.

"It's not as far as the village, but it's just at the end of the forest," Kyodai said.

"Learn the way, Ky," Danny said.

"Ky?" Kyodai asked, confused.

"Um, it's a nickname. Like how Danny is short for Daniel. You don't like it?" Danny explained.

"Ky," Kyodai said, thinking about it.

"It's okay. I like it." She said, smiling.

Danny sighs. It wasn't because he couldn't pronounce her name. He knew that it meant gigantic, but he didn't want people to think that meant that due to her bust size. If he would have guessed, if she was human, she could be around a size C or D, but due to her being an Oni, she was close to a size DD maybe a size smaller.

'And I blame Dash for sneaking those playboy magazines when the teachers didn't bother to check his locker.' He thought, sighing.

Danny follow Kyodai down the path, which took until the sun was high in the sky. Danny thought it was close to close to noon from where he was, but wasn't sure. He saw that Kyodai stopped halfway down the path before looking around.

"Akeru." She said in Japanese.

Danny almost jumps when a gate raise out of the ground. He blinks. He read about those gates in his history class. Torii, he believe the name was. But he read that they could only be found at shines.

"Are you coming?" Kyodai asked, looking back at him.

"Where?" Danny asked, confused.

Kyodai took his hand, surprising him.

"What you humans call the realm of spirits." She said.

Danny blinks. Did she have a way to enter the Ghost Zone?

'Wait, I'm in Japan. Their Realm of the Dead is not the same as the one my parents found.' He thought.

Danny took a breath. He follows Kyodai into the torii gate before stepping into a world that was clearly nothing like he read. He saw many myths legends and monsters walking around, like normal people.

Kyodai lead him through the area, seeing many creatures noticing him. Some had confused looks on their faces, and others smirked at them.

"Ky?" He asked, making the Oni Girl look back at him.

"Where are we going?" He asked.

"To see my parents. I need to let them know I'm leaving." She said.

"Okay," Danny said, wondering if was a good idea.

He looks around, seeing a few others whispering to each other.

"Is that Kyodai? With a human?"

"Did she finally find a man to marry?"

"He doesn't look anything special."

"I bet she bringing him to her family to stuff him so they can eat him later."

Danny sighs. He wasn't sure what was going on, but guess that some of them don't know the truth. He soon saw Kyodai turn to a building that looked like a shine. Were her parents this world's version of priests, or rulers?

Kyodai walks up to the gates, stopping short at them.

"Akeru." She said, causing a bunch of eyes to appear.

They noticed her and Danny before opening. Danny followed Kyodai, seeing some more creatures walking around, making sure that everything was clean and ready. Some noticed her and quickly bowed. Was she a princess?

Kyodai walked up the stairs before another Oni girl appeared.

"Well, well, what have we got here? It seems you finally found a man! A bit on the skinny side, but cute none-a-less!" She said.

"Daidouji," Kyodai said, looking at her sister.

"It's about time! We started to wonder if you ever find a husband!" She said before getting a closer look at Danny.

"Heh, a shy one too! Reminds me of my husband." She said, smirking.

"Daidouji, he's not my husband. He was kidnapped from his family and made into an offering to me." Kyodai told her.

"They're still doing that?! Geez, I thought mom and dad were going to take care of that." Daidouji said, shocked.

"Danny doesn't belong in Japan. And I here for another reason." She said.

"And that is?" Daidouji asked.

"I'm leaving Japan too," Kyodai said.

Everyone stopped. Two servants crash into each other as another fell down a hole that wasn't covered. Another had a pail of water fall on his head and another tripped over a stone that he didn't see.

"What do you mean, you're leaving Japan?!" Daidouji asked, surprised.

"Danny is from across the sea. He has family there and he was taken from them. He's offered me to go with him." Kyodai said.

"Across the sea?!" Daidouji asked, surprised.

"Yes, now if you don't mind. I need to see mom and dad." She said, holding onto Danny's hand.

She pulled him away, knowing that her sister was up to something. She only hopes that her other sisters don't try anything. Danny sighs, wondering if this trip was going to turn out as he hoped.

Okay, a small change of plans. The trip back home is going to take a little longer. Since I just brought Danny into Japan's version of the realm of spirits, feel free to correct me if you wish, I make the next few chapters with Danny being stuck in Kyodai's parent's home. I would like to thank Ethan for one of Kyodai's sister name. She had four sisters and I would like the other three to appear as well. I just need names for them. Remember their names need to be something in Japanese.

Kyodai means gigantic and Daidouji means large, big, and great. And they don't have to be the same meaning. Feel free to mix it up.
