Sometimes I wish I could learn how to think of comeback lines, since there's this guy on Youtube that says that Pokémon Gen 8 and 9 are non canon because they're bad (like, seriously?)

I've been taking some Persona Arcana tests (This one's pretty good not gonna lie quiz/5739130/) lately, and I got the Hermit, Magician and even the Empress, but I decided on The Fool, not because it's the "main character" arcana, but because it fits me more in my opinion.

Chapter 6: Race Trackin', Part 3

Vs. Captain Falcon (2nd alternate costume)

Spirit: Mach Rider

Conditions:

- The enemy has increased move speed

- The enemy starts the battle with a Super Scope

-F-Zero-

Port Town Aero Dive

Both Akira and Kirby appear onstage.

"Not this stage again…" Akira says.

"You know you shouldn't be worrying about it." The latter says.

"Still…"

Ready?

GO!

Mach Rider

Both Kirby and the enemy start running towards each other, but the latter gets to hit first with a shoulder block.

Akira uses a dash attack before the Captain Falcon clone can continue attacking, and then does a cannon blast which hits midair.

Kirby tries to attack the opponent, but he gets hit by a flaming overhand, causing the puffball to get meteor smashed. The Captain Falcon clone then immediately gets slapped by the teen midair. "Bitch slap!" Akira says jokingly.

-"Language…"- Villager says.

"Oh, yeah, sorry about that!"

Kirby slams a hammer on the enemy, causing him to get launched away, but he does a diving kick and gets back onstage.

The opponent starts shooting at Akira, but the latter jumps up and throws out a small star fragment at the Captain Falcon clone, before he follows it up with a halfway charged beam.

Kirby then turns into a ball full of spikes and falling down above the enemy. The pink puffball tries to follow up with a kick, but he gets kicked back by the enemy.

Akira hits the Captain Falcon clone with meteors of energy, but then he parries a kick coming from Kirby.

-"Ooh, Parry!"- Villager shouts cheerfully.

"Yeah, but it's coming from the enemy!" Akira says before dashing through the opponent again, interrupting his down throw against the puffball.

-"I know that already, you don't have to tell me."-

"Alright, Whatever…" The teen shoots out another star fragment, hitting the enemy.

The enemy hits Kirby with a diving kick, and charges up a big shot, but the attack gets blocked by Akira. He grabs the Captain Falcon clone and pummels him before he throws him inside a cannon, blasting him off to the blast zone, defeating him.

Victory!

-World of Light-

Raceway

Map (World of Light) - Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

Both Akira and Kirby appear back on the race track.

"That was the first parry I've seen in a while." Villager says as the teen just looks at him with a bored expression on his face. "Yeah, yeah, whatever."

Akira sighs. "Anyways… I'm still confused as to why the clone had a Super Scope, like, it's Mach Rider, not Mach Shooter."

"Have you played any of his games? That might reference something to them." Mario says as Akira shakes his head.

"No, because they don't really interest me."

"Okay then."

The screen appears in front of Akira. "I got the Mach Rider spirit, it's a one-star defense type Primary Spirit with 889 power." He taps the screen and the results appear. "We won 128 Smash Coins, 153 Spirit Points, one Skill Sphere, a small Snack and a medium one. Primary Spirit leveled up to level 9." He taps the screen again. "I'll switch Kirby for Villager."

"I've been fighting a lot lately, so that's fine with me!" The pink puffball replies cheerfully, as always.

"Alright." The teen walks towards the next battle as he feeds his current Primary Spirit, before changing it to Eevee, switches Kirby for Villager and switches to Bandana Dee's Job.

Vs. Wario (3rd alternate costume)

Spirit: Excitebike

Conditions:

- The enemy favors side specials

-Super Mario-

Mario Circuit

Both fighters appear on the floating stage.

"Four enemies again, huh…?" Akira says as he scratches his head. "But hey, at least we're in one of my favorite stages."

"I hate this guy…" Villager says as he narrows his eyes.

"Who?"

"Wario."

"I don't think I need to ask… But why?"

"He's an absolutely egocentric jerk. He thinks he's the center of the world, and he's obsessed with money, too."

"I guessed so, but at least you get to fight a guy like him."

"Yeah, but I lose to him, most times."

"Oh, okay."

Ready?

GO!

Excitebike - Super Mario Kart 8

Villager starts running at the enemies, throwing a pot at one of them, before being run over by the last Wario clone's motorcycle.

The teen throws his spear towards the vehicle that's going towards him, hitting the enemy.

"You okay, Villager?" Akira asks as he holds him in his arms.

"Yeah, don't worry about me." He instantly gets up and pulls out a Lloid rocket, making the Wario clone get kicked out of his vehicle.

"Alrighty then." Akira says as he jumps and thrusts his spear upwards at the opponent above him, following it up with the Waddle Copter move, but he gets hit by another motorcycle. "C'mon!"

Kirby slams an umbrella at the vehicle on the ground and throws a tire at one of the enemies before he can even use his.

Meanwhile, the stage changes positions to be on a tower in the background of the circuit.

"Wait…" Akira flails his arms up and down, causing him to go upwards. "That… Doesn't make much sense… But whatever…" The teen says as he pulls out his umbrella and dives at the nearest enemy.

"The whole Job system doesn't even make sense either." Villager says as he shoots out a slingshot pellet.

-"It has to have a reason, maybe… Master Hand planned to give him it before all of this…?"- Mario says.

"That…" Villager thinks for a bit but not before dodging a motorcycle coming at him "Kind of makes sense, actually." He pulls a weed sprout from the ground near one of the Wario clones.

"Maybe I was supposed to get it once I got here… Like an automated script." Akira jumps forward while spinning rapidly. He turns around to notice a motorcycle right in front of him. "F-Fu-!" and both fighters get hit by it, as Villager was behind him.

-"Wow, Akira hasn't been careful with his language today…"- Kirby says.

"He's a 16 year old teen, Kirby." Villager replies as he rides a Lloid back onstage right before the platforms start to rise back up.

"Yeah, but… I don't think I'm feeling so comfortable saying cuss words around you guys, anyways..." Akira dives back down with his umbrella onto an enemy.

-"Then why did you say them two battles in a row?"- Kirby asks.

"I… Forgot." Akira shoots out a power orb towards the nearest opponent.

"Why are you making such a big deal out of this?" Villager asks, but receives no response as he sighs, before he shoots another slingshot pellet.

The teen does a slide kick, following it up by jumping and thrusting his spear forwards as it turns into a staff and shocks the enemy with another power orb, hitting multiple times.

Villager rushes towards the enemy and throws a potted sapling at him, pulling out another sprout from the ground, before dodging an incoming motorcycle.

Akira uses his parasol to rush forwards at the enemy, hitting two of them, and throwing his spear at the first one that he hit.

Villager pulls out a shovel and digs in front of him, causing the Wario clone that was there to be buried onto the ground.

Akira swings his parasol at the opponent mid-air, before diving down with said object.

Villager throws a bowling ball at that same enemy, causing him to be launched upwards, defeating him.

"...You're really strong if you can throw a bowling ball like that, you know…?" Akira says as he shocks an enemy with a beam.

"Uh… Not really…" He pulls out yet another Lloid rocket, exploding near a motorcycle, hitting the opponent.

"Videogame logic, I guess…" The teen says as he does another slide kick, before lunging at the next enemy, and thrusting his spear at him.

Villager assists by detonating fireworks towards the enemy behind Akira, but he manages to escape from the attack, and he rides his vehicle towards the teen.

-"Dodge!"- Kirby warns Akira over the walkie talkie.

"W-Wha…?" He stops attacking and looks at his pocket, and then behind, but he immediately gets run over by the motorcycle. "N-Not again!"

Villager remains silent as he turns around and hits the enemy behind him with his shovel.

Akira tries to use Waddle Copter to get back onstage, but he gets hit by another vehicle, nearly KOing him, he manages to recover thanks to the altitude the attack gave him.

Villager traps his opponent in his net, and yanks it backwards before throwing him.

Akira dives down with his parasol, with the Wario clone dodging the attack, but he parries the incoming attack from the enemy, before grabbing and performing the Megaton Punch on him.

"Throw your spear over here!" Villager waves at Akira as the enemy starts rushing at his back.

"Okay!" Akira does as told, and it stuns the opponent.

"Alright, here it goes!" Villager drops a bowling ball on the Wario clone, causing a critical hit, defeating him.

"I suppose that we're gonna do that two more times, right?" The teen asks with a grin.

"You guessed it!"

Akira nods and shoots a power sphere at the motorcycle coming straight at him, destroying it.

Villager comes rushing at the same enemy while riding a Lloid Rocket, but the Wario clone behind (behind the other clone) starts riding his vehicle at him. He grunts in annoyance as he jumps to avoid the explosion, before the teen slides forwards with his parasol, hitting one of the enemies.

"Here!" Akira shouts as he grabs the enemy, lifting him in the air, and kicking him backwards.

Villager throws yet another slingshot pellet, interrupting the opponent's movement, before slamming a bowling ball on him, sending him to the upper boundary zone.

Akira does another slide kick, and performs the same sequence of moves.

Villager, now further away, jumps and swings three turnips downwards, meteor smashing him. He tries to KO the clone, but he gets up and pokes the ground, causing Villager to fall to the floor, before getting on his motorcycle and running over him.

"Okay, that didn't work as expected…" Akira runs at the opponent and throws his spear at the vehicle, causing it to explode, and making the last enemy fly to the boundary zone, defeating him.

Victory!

-World of Light-

Raceway

Map (World of Light) - Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

Akira and Villager appear back at the race track.

"I'm glad they only used his side special…" The latter says as he scratches the back of his head.

"Same here… I really don't want him to use… His down special on me…" The teen responds.

"Especially that one, I don't wanna smell that again, It's… Indescribable."

"I-I… So much because of a fart?"

"You wouldn't understand." The three smashers reply in unison.

"W-Wow… Okay…" Akira sweatdrops.

"I honestly never imagined a fart could smell… Like that." Mario says.

"Then that means that I'll just try to completely avoid fighting with him now."

"But you have to, we're gonna fight more than just one battle with him, right?"

The teen just sighs as a response, before he opens the window. "I won the Excitebike Spirit, It's a two-star support Spirit. Its ability is to increase left and right move speed." He taps the window again, and it changes to the results. "We won 169 Smash Coins, 97 Spirit Points, two Skill Spheres, a medium and two small Snacks." Akira taps the screen again, and he feeds his Primary Spirit, before he switches Villager for Mario.

"Wait, did you switch me out for Mario?" The former asks.

"Yeah… How did you know?"

"I… Actually have no idea."

"Then…"

"Master Hand probably added that." Mario finishes the teen's sentence.

"Wow, he really did plan this system out…"

"And about you switching me out… I don't have a problem with it, but I didn't expect it." Villager says.

"Okay… I'm glad you didn't make a big deal out of that." Akira starts walking towards the next battle as the others follow. He switches his Primary Spirit to Bowser (Wedding) before closing the window.

Vs. Fox (6th alternate costume)

Spirit: Gyrowing (Star Fox)

Conditions:

- The enemy starts the battle with a Rocket Belt

-Pilotwings-

Akira and Mario appear on the biplane's wings as it prepares to fly.

("Fox again, huh?") The former thinks as he grunts in annoyance.

-"Is something wrong, Akira?"- Kirby asks over the walkie talkie.

"O-Oh, nothing."

-"Okay…"-

("C-Concentrating isn't that hard, right…?")

Ready?

The teen gets ready to fight.

GO!

Sector Ω

The Fox clone starts the battle by rushing at the fighters.

Akira instead starts running at the enemy, and he dodges the flying kick coming at him. "Anyone could have seen that coming a mile away!"

-"You're right on that one!"- Villager says.

The teen throws his spear at the opponent, and the plumber grabs him as he's stunned. He headbutts him and does a body slam, before using a bicycle kick mid-air and performing a jumping uppercut.

"Nice combo, Mario." Akira compliments the plumber. "Also, here's a friendly reminder that I'm afraid of heights." He says as he uses all of his willpower to not look down as the flying vehicle starts to tilt. "Oh, and this too."

The enemy tries to get back down by diving while engulfed inside an aura of fire, but Akira swings his parasol upwards, interrupting the move.

-"Would you look at that, he's already at 35%. Good job guys!"- Kirby cheers the fighters.

"You can see the damage?"

-"Yes, wasn't it obvious?"- Villager replies.

"...No… I don't have much time to argue right now." Akira says as Mario proceeds to try to hit another jumping uppercut, but it gets dodged by the clone. Akira tries to hit him by doing a somersault forwards while sticking his spear out, and it hits.

Mario assists with an explosive palm thrust, which sends the enemy flying away.

The teen runs at the opponent, but gets interrupted by his flash attack (Fox Illusion). He gets grabbed and kicked in the stomach multiple times, before getting elbowed in the face, launching him away.

Mario rushes at the Fox clone, and does a sliding kick, which gets dodged, but he manages to block the enemy's attack and throw him.

"O-Ow…" Akira grunts as he puts his hand on his face as he lands back on the biplane while it stabilizes itself, before it tilts again, but to the other side.

-"I'm… confused."- Villager says.

"O-On what?" Akira says while the plumber gets hit by a flurry of kicks.

-"Why are you saying 'ow' right now, while you don't say a thing when you literally get beat up in other fights?"-

"..." Akira remains silent as he just walks towards the enemy, and shoots out a power orb, forcing the opponent to dodge the attack, but he gets hit by the teen's spear, stunning him, before he gets grabbed by Mario.

-"Tch, Whatever."-

The plumber headbutts the clone, grabbing him by the legs and spinning around before letting him go.

("Alright then… I guess concentrating is that hard… U-Ugh…") Akira sighs.

Meanwhile, back at the race track, Villager rolls his eyes.

Mario keeps on running at the opponent, blocking his flash attack, before headbutting him and then doing a wheel kick.

Akira does a somersault above the plumber, hitting the Fox clone, then lifting him in the air and slamming him on the ground, jumping above him and thrusting his spear downwards while twirling it around, meteor smashing the enemy before throwing his spear at him. "Mario, now!"

The plumber nods and runs as fast as he can, charging up a forward smash once near enough, but it gets dodged.

"Oh, come on!" The teen shouts as he tries to hit the enemy with his parasol, but he dodges it and uses his flash attack yet again, hitting both him and the plumber.

Mario rushes at the clone again, blocking the bullets and dodging a butterfly kick, before waving a cape at him, causing him to turn around and shoot at nothing.

Akira throws his spear yet again, and with the stun, Mario manages to hit a fully charged forward smash, KOing the opponent.

Victory!

-World of Light-

Raceway

Map (World of Light) - Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

Mario and Akira appear back on the race track.

"The match ended so fast we didn't even get aboard the yellow plane…" The latter says.

"Well, that's what happens with most fights, and hopefully, all the incoming ones." The plumber replies,

"Akira." Villager says.

"Yeah?" The teen asks. "What is it?"

"..." He breathes deeply. "...Nevermind."

"Oh… Okay then…" Akira says nervously. ("I… really wonder how'd they react if I told them that…")

The teen opens up the window. "I got the Gyrowing Spirit, it's a one-star support Spirit. Its ability is to start battles with a Rocket Belt… Yeah, no." He taps the screen. "We won 134 Smash Coins, 102 Spirit Points, one Skill Sphere, one medium and two small Snacks." He taps the screen again and goes to feed his Primary Spirit, before closing the window. "Let's get going."

He walks towards the next fight, and the others follow him. "Looks like night's gonna come soon, days really go by a lot faster here."

"It's also weird for us." Mario says as Akira opens the window again.

"The floor is electrified, huh? That's definitely not gonna be a problem." Akira says sarcastically as he changes his Primary Spirit to Tron Bonne before the screen fades to black.

"This is Kirby!"

"And this is Akira."

"We're finally gonna rescue another Smasher, yay!" The pink puffball says cheerfully.

The teen chuckles. "Yeah, I'm also glad about that… Also, you're extremely cute when you do that."

"Yeah, I get that compliment a lot!"

"I mean, why wouldn't you? You're just so adorable… Ignoring the fact that you've killed a ton of gods before."

"Poyo!" Kirby waves his little arms frantically.

Akira sweatdrops. "Alright, so the next chapter is gonna be… "Race Trackin', Part 4"... It was previously named 'Useless Vehicles!', but the author decided to change it."

Alright, so before the chapter ends, I have one question for you guys and the readers… Is all of this getting annoying?

"What do you mean by that?" Mario asks.

I'm talking about the fights…

"From our perspective, not really, but from how you're writing it…" Akira frowns.

You can say it… I don't mind…

"I'm not much a fan of how you're repeating phrases over and over again, like 'before' or 'as he'." Villager replies.

I knew you were gonna point that out… But I… really have no idea about what other words to use… Plus, they're… A bit too rushed…

"It's okay as long as you're happy with it!" Kirby cheers the author up.

"Why are you talking to him nicely, but you aren't with me?" The teen whispers to Villager.

"Because he's literally a god, he could do anything right now. Plus, I'm not always a douchebag." He replies back.
