So… At the time of writing this (July 10th, which is also my mom's birthday), my oldest cat's really bad right now, he can breathe, but he can't move at all. He's the one I care about the most out of the four in my house, because, y'know, he's the oldest one. Also, if you're asking why we didn't take him to the veterinary was because nobody... really cared that much (alright so, when I was writing this, the word 'bones' literally auto corrected to the other word (it ends with r, and before you say anything, it was on pc) thanks a lot google docs).
Four hours later... and He's dead, hooray (I don't even care anymore).
Anyways… It's time to get on with the chapter.
Chapter Date: July 21st
Chapter 7: Useless Vehicles!
Vs. Mega Man (8th alternate costume)
Spirit: Mighty Gazelle (F-Zero)
Conditions:
- The floor is electrified
- The enemy starts with damage but is more powerful
-F-Zero-
Mute City SNES (Battlefield form)
Both Akira and Mario appear on the platforms above the floor that's surrounded by electricity.
"Okay, that doesn't look very nice." He says as he looks at the ground below, and a sudden spark makes the teen yelp and step back, bumping with the plumber.
"Are you okay, Akira?" Mario asks worriedly.
"Y-Yeah, that spark only scared me, it didn't hurt me at all." He replies as he turns around.
The plumber nods. "That's good."
"Yeah, it wouldn't be very useful if I got hurt before the fight even started… And talking about getting hurt before the fight starts, I can't really remember how much damage that condition causes, but it's probably not much."
"I agree, it would be pretty easy if, say, the enemy got 50 damage right at the start of the fight."
-"Why does this one have it, though?"- Villager asks over the walkie talkie as Mario shrugs.
Ready?
"Well, we're about to figure it out." Akira readies himself.
GO!
Akira jumps to the upper platform while Mario reflects the grappling bomb the Mega Man clone sent out, with it being dodged. The teen dives towards the enemy with his parasol, but the attack gets dodged again, though he manages to step back before he gets grabbed. Akira grabs the cyborg back, and performs a Megaton Punch on him.
The plumber follows it up with a jumping uppercut, sending the opponent upwards.
"Nice!" The teen compliments Mario with a thumbs up.
He nods again, and he tries to hit the enemy again with an overhand, but it gets dodged, and he immediately then gets hit by a sword made out of flames coming from the Mega Man clone's hand, and of course, it does more damage than normal.
"Oof…" Akira throws his spear at the opponent, which interrupts his attack towards him, before the teen somersaults forwards, hitting again with his spear.
Mario throws a fireball mid air at the recovering enemy, which stops his movement completely. He tries to follow it up by spinning around near him, which gets dodged, but the last one hits due to the clone dodging early.
The opponent summons Rush, which makes him be able to recover safely onstage, while the robotic dog falls onto the race track.
"Now I'm glad this stage doesn't have a void…" Akira says as he looks at Mega Man's companion, which gets farther until he disappears into the horizon… Kind of.
-"That reminded me of when Mario told us he sacrificed Yoshis to jump over them one time."- Kirby said.
"I really hated doing that… " The plumber replies as he jumps back to the right platform.
-"It's pretty obvious, if you ask me."- Villager says.
"I hope they're okay… But I'm probably just in denial…" He says while Akira attacks the clone with a beam after blocking another swing from the flaming sword move.
Mario then goes up to the platform where Akira is fighting the enemy, but the latter dodges the former's next attack by jumping, before firing his fist downwards at the plumber, meteor smashing him towards the electrical floor.
-"32 damage with only two attacks? That doesn't look very good…"- Kirby says a bit worried as Mario gets zapped for a good while.
-"But hey, at least the enemy's at 71, and Akira still hasn't been hit yet."- Villager replies.
The clone then jumps over another beam from the teen, before quickly turning around and hitting him with a swing of his arm, generating energy trails, which sends him flying away.
-"I… Jinxed it. I shouldn't have said anything…"
The plumber jumps back at the opponent, and hits with a mid air bicycle kick below the platform he's on. He tries his luck with another jumping uppercut, but it barely reaches the enemy, who fires his fist again, causing another meteor smash.
Akira lands and rushes to where the Mega Man clone is, dodging the bullets he sends out.
The opponent blocks a sweep kick coming from Mario and Akira's forward smash, but the shield breaks, and the former takes advantage of it to charge up his forward smash while Akira grabs and headbutts the clone a couple of times, before letting him go him right before Mario thrusts his palm forwards, sending the enemy away to the eastern boundary zone.

Raceway
Map (World of Light) - Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
Mario and Akira appear back at the race track.
"That clone was pretty powerful, I'm glad we beat him before one of us got defeated." The teen said with a hint of relief.
"Same here." The plumber says
"And about the electrical floor… How did it feel…?" Villager asks.
"Really bad, as you would expect."
"I mean, yeah, but I just wanted to be sure."
"Man, I still wonder how I'm getting used to these fights so fast… Actually, nevermind, I'm not." Akira scratches the back of his head as he opens the window. "I got the Mighty Gazelle Spirit, It's a two star defense type Primary Spirit that has 1604 power." He taps the screen, going to the Results. "We won 133 Smash Coins, 170 Spirit Points, two Skill Spheres and a medium Snack." He taps the screen again and closes the window, but not before feeding his Primary Spirit, and switching Mario for Villager.
"Okay, so now we're gonna fight Captain Falcon, huh?"
"Yup!" Kirby says.
"...What is he like?"
"A total womanizer, even though his record isn't particularly the best." Villager replies.
"Wasn't expecting that… But I mean… I don't really know how to analyze personalities, so I didn't know what to expect."
"Okay."
"And that… For some reason reminded me of the fact that there weren't a lot of women back before Smash 4."
"Yeah, but he still did his stuff."
"Well, at least he isn't also a feminist… Unlike a certain Danganronpa fangame character." Akira says as the group starts heading towards Captain Falcon's fight.
"What?"
"I'm just gonna say that his talent is the Ultimate Astronaut and that he's… Pretty worse, actually."
"Thanks for the information… I guess." Villager says while Akira switches his Primary Spirit to Octoling as everything fades to black.
Vs. Captain Falcon
Conditions:
- Win the match to awaken the fighter
-F-Zero-
Port Town Aero Dive (Omega form)
Both Villager and Akira appear onstage.
"Finally, we're going to rescue another fighter after like… What, ten fights?" The teen sighs.
"You do know the length of this entire thing, right?"
"Yup, I played World of Light four times now, but I thought this would have been only in my imagination…"
"Fair enough… I guess."
Ready?
GO!
F-Zero Medley
Villager starts by rushing at Captain Falcon, but the pilot just stands there, and he dashes forwards, making him dodge backwards, before propelling himself at the enemy while performing a flaming flying kick, which hits, but he instantly gets hit by Akira's parasol after ending the move.
Akira then rapidly follows it up by jumping and thrusting his spear downwards once above the opponent. He dodges the kip-up and the scorpion kick and shoots out a power sphere, before trying to get another hit with a spear throw, but the pilot dodges it.
Villager starts running at the enemy, and vice versa, the former jumps and swings a pair of turnips below him, but they get blocked, and Captain Falcon performs an axe kick, meteor smashing him.
Akira somersaults forwards, before throwing his spear at the pilot. He tries to follow it up again, but he gets hit by a diving kick.
Villager lands, and an Assist Trophy suddenly appears in front of him. "Alrighty then!" He grabs it, but the opponent starts running towards him and performs a shoulder block on him, launching him away, but he still has the Assist Trophy on his hands. He manages to dodge the incoming flaming punch, then land, and the item he's holding opens up with a bright light as he covers up his eyes with his arm. "I completely forgot about how bright these are when they open up!"
"Out of my way!" The person who came out of the Assist Trophy says as he rushes towards Captain Falcon and slashing him, sending him off stage.
"A-Alucard?" Akira says, a bit confused.
"Yes, it's me, now let me get my job done here." The dhampir says bluntly as he turns into his bat form and goes to the enemy, before dashing forwards, sending the enemy all the way to the blast zone.
Victory!

Map (World of Light) - Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
Akira and Villager appear, with Captain Falcon behind him.
"Wow, guess we gotta thank Alucard for that one." The teen says.
"He beat Captain Falcon up pretty easily for being an Assist Trophy, it looks like he has a plan for almost everything…" The latter says. "But sure, he was near the edge of the platform, and he was at a fairly high amount of damage."
"At least we got the fight done faster."
"Eh, true."
"Uh… Guys…?" Kirby says as he tilts his head a bit.
"...What?" Both Akira and Villager ask in unison.
"Behind you…?" Mario says as both fighters turn around to see Captain Falcon and… Alucard too?
Free Time Event No. 4: Alucard and Captain Falcon (Rank 1)
This Mysterious Feeling - Persona 3
"W-Wait, W-Why are you still here…?" The teen says, somewhat startled.
"I'm assuming you brought me back to life, though I'm still confused about what caused all of this." The dhampir states.
"O-Oh… Well, It's actually thanks to Galeem, who's basically a deity that wants to engulf the entire universe in light."
"We tried to stop him, but as you could guess, it didn't go as expected. Only Kirby survived, and Akira here came from the Real World."
"So the so-called 'Real World' actually exists, and you're telling me that the person that's eight in front of me…" Alucard looks back at Akira. "...Is a native being from it?"
"Yup, you got that right." Akira replies.
"...W-Wait, WHAT?" Captain Falcon asks, completely dumbfounded.
"You heard him." Villager says.
"That's… Interesting, so how did you even get here?"
"I was about to go to sleep after doing my homework, and a light suddenly came from my Nintendo Switch, and that's how I got here. Oh, and Master Hand already had planned to invite someone from the Real World, which turned out to be me, Akira."
"Nintendo Switch…?"
"The company who made our games' main console." Mario says
"Except for you, Castlevania was made by another company."
"I'm… Still confused, what do you mean?"
"I'm just gonna say that everyone but me come from video games, so in our society's eyes, you're fictional characters."
"Fictional characters…? So we basically just exist to entertain you?"
"...You could say that."
"...That's… Not what I expected."
"But Alucard, if you're still an Assist Trophy, then why weren't you brought back to where you were before?" The puffball asks.
"I don't know." Dracula's son shakes his head.
"...Maybe it was because he was already a Spirit when Villager summoned him?" Mario states.
"A plausible explanation."
"But this doesn't happen in the game at all… I mean, duh, they wouldn't really want Assist Trophies to be playable, do they…?" Akira responds.
"Well, this is the path towards Galeem, right?"
"Yeah, but he put up a barrier around him, I think if we rescue every Smasher here it'll get weaker, or something like that" Villager says.
"That… wouldn't exactly be the smartest move for someone like him."
"Yeah, but then everything will go back to normal."
"And that's where you're wrong, Villager, because another deity named Dharkon will appear and fight Galeem, and plus, a lot more Smashers are inside the Dark Realm, which we get access to after defeating Galeem here, in the Light Realm."
"...But why didn't you tell us sooner?"
"I… forgot."
"..."
"...Uh-"
"YOU REALLY FORGOT ABOUT SOMETHING SO IMPORTANT?" Villager shouts at the teen.
"W-Woah, chill there, we're still in our second area, we have a lot of time until we get to Galeem..."
"Ugh…" He grunts.
"Anyways, after defeating Dharkon we go to the last realm, where both deities are fighting, and we have to defeat the Spirits from each side, if we defeat too many from one side and rescue respective side's Hand, we'll get to fight that side's boss."
"...And?" Kirby asks.
"If we defeat only one deity, then the other one will seize control, and we'll all end up dead." Akira says as everyone else remains silent. "But, if we free both Master Hand and Crazy Hand and have the Spirit count on each side nearly equal, then Master Hand will fight an army of clones, 'shattering' the realm and creating three paths. Again, we have to choose the central path, because if not… You guys already get it, don't you?"
"...But how do you know all of this information?" Alucard asks.
"I played this entire mode four times already, that's why."
"Mode?"
"We are in the story mode for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, World of Light right now."
"...Alright then."
"I still can't believe the Real World… Is actually real." Captain Falcon says.
"That's what you're worried about? He literally just told us we're all going to die if we choose to fight the wrong enemy at the end, and you're worried about THAT?" Villager shouts.
"Wow, anger issues." The pilot says semi-teasingly as he gets a sigh of annoyance in response.
Akira was about to open the window, but he heard a voice resonating inside his head, saying;

"Oh, It's this voice again."
"What?"

"Basically I can use movesets of characters, even though they aren't part of the Smashers. My current Jobs are Bandana Dee, Geno and Tom Nook, and since Captain Falcon got rescued, I'm assuming I'll get an F-Zero Job."

"Anyways," The teen opens the window. "Captain Falcon joins the battle, Alucard joins the battle."
"...What?" Both mentioned fighters ask at the same time.
"Let's just say I have a screen in front of me that's invisible to everyone else." He taps the screen again. "We won 181 Smash Coins, 209 Spirit Points, one medium Snack and… Holy sh**, TEN skill spheres?"
"What are you so surprised about?" The dhampir asks
"...It's normally just no more than two per fight, so yeah."
"And what do they do?"
"I use them on the Skill Tree to get upgrades for us." He taps the screen again and it immediately redirects to the Jobs page. "Oh, and looks like I got the Black Shadow Job."
"Black Shadow… Oh no, not that guy."
"What, is he like, your antagonist?"
"...He really wants to kill me."
"I'm gonna take that as a yes." He studies the Job's moveset, equips it and goes to the Skill Tree to get the Neutral Attack upgrade before feeding his Primary Spirit. "I think I'll leave this window open for when I need to switch Primary Spirits."
A sound starts coming from the northern road, they all look in said direction, and they notice that the tires blocking the path start to disintegrate into sparkles.
"Oh, yeah, that. But let's just go fight the only Spirit that's left here." Akira starts heading to the right path. Mario, Kirby and Villager start following him, while Alucard and Captain Falcon left behind.
"Should we follow them?" The latter asks.
"Do you want to defeat Galeem?"
"...Yeah?"
"Then we have no other choice." The former follows the rest of the group as the pilot sighs and follows them.
"Alright…" The teen switches his Primary Spirit to Bowser (Wedding). "...Wait a minute." He goes to the character selection screen and… Alucard appears as one of the selectable fighters. "Oh, nice!" He switches Villager for Alucard.
"...What did you do?" The current partner asks as he feels a strange feeling.
"I just switched Villager for you, you'll be fighting with me."
"Alright."
The screen then starts fading to black.
Vs. Ken (3rd alternate costume)
Spirit: Jack Levin (F-Zero)
Conditions:
- The enemy will suddenly have a Final Smash
- Reinforcements will appear during battle

Big Blue (Battlefield form)
Both Alucard and Akira appear on stage.
"This is… Really tight… And I have… Hoof shoes." The latter says as he looks down at his outfit. "And a mask too… Please don't tell me I look ridiculous in this thing…"
-"You absolutely do."- Villager says.
-"Yup!"- Kirby says.
-"It doesn't fit you…"- Mario says
-"...What Mario said."- Captain Falcon says
The former turns around and looks at the clothes the teen is wearing. "You know what I'm going to say, right?"
Akira grunts. "I might as well take This helmet off… Or whatever it's called, I dunno." He tries to take it off. "Oh, yeah, right, this is part of the entire suit… Guess this is gonna turn into a hoodie then." He then actually takes it off. "Better."
-"...Definitely."-
Ready?
The dhampir turns around and gets ready.
GO!
Dream Chaser
The clone jumps up to the upper platform, and Alucard does the same. The former tries to hit the latter with a kick, but flies upwards with help of his wings, before doing an aerial dropping kick several times until it misses, and then the enemy tries his luck again with an inward hook, but it gets dodged.
Akira comes at the opponent from behind, tries to hit him with an elbow in mid air, but he dodges it. Suddenly the entire stage gets dark, and a box with text appears. "Sudden Final Smash… Welp, guess I'm screwed."
-"Omae wa mou… Shindeiru!"- Kirby says cheerfully as the Ken clone activates his final smash, Alucard managing to get out of the way before the teen gets hit by a series of kicks.
"Shippu Jinraikyaku!" The enemy shouts as he continues his Final Smash with a diagonal Tatsumaki Senpukyaku, but instead of being launched away at the last kick, he just gets pushed no more than a meter.
-"Pretty anticlimactic, if you ask me."- Villager says.
"Yeah, but how'd Kirby even know about that meme…?" Akira says, but he doesn't get a response as three Wii Fit Trainers start falling from the above. "...Oh, how nice." He says sarcastically as the WFT nearest to him tries to hit a Single-Leg Extension move in mid air, but Alucard comes in and slashes both her and the Ken clone with his sword before grabbing the latter and slamming him onto the ground.
"I know Wii Fit Trainer's a gag character, but I'm still confused as to how they got into Smash." Akira does a double axe handle downwards at said fighter.
-"Ask Master Hand."- Mario says as another WFT comes in with another Single-Leg Extension, which actually hits Alucard, while then Ken clone does a downward-angled cross to hit Akira, but it gets blocked. The WFT in front of him then tries to grab him, but he attacks with a leg sweep, interrupting it.
Alucard dodges a double foot stomp from the WFT who attacked him earlier, and thrusts the Firebrand sword onto her, causing a small explosion, and then throws his hand towards the ground as he conjures dark purple magic, unleashing two explosions of darkness on each side of him, but only the one behind him hits (the WFT attacking Akira).
Akira lunges at the main enemy and creates an explosion of black flames, blasting him away, before doing a double axe handle to hit the WFT behind him.
The dhampir jumps and slashes the WFT in the air, and hits the other one below him with a Jump Kick, slashing both enemies again as he bounces up from the attack.
Akira grabs WFT and slams her on the ground before jumping to the Ken clone and hits him with another double axe handle downwards, meteor smashing him and defeating him
"Hellfire!" Alucard generates four fireballs from his cape, hitting both WFTs. "Out of my way!" He then turns into his bat form and advances towards the two enemies, hitting them.
The teen jumps back onstage and avoids an attack from the WFT by jumping even higher and coming back down with his leg extended (up special, if you're confused), hitting her back.
The dhampir does a punch and a kick before sheathing Crissaegrim and shouting; "Thousand Blades!" As he swings his blade several times very quickly, launching both enemies away.
Akira jumps and hits the opponent with an overhand, meteor smashing her.
Alucard grabs Lip's Stick, which just spawned in front of him, and swings it at two of the WFT a while the last one assumes the Sun Worship pose and charges up a yellow orb, although the dhampir tries to interrupt it, the opponent manages to release the ball of energy, sending him away.
Akira lands and gets surrounded by dark energy and slams his fist on the ground, creating a shockwave of darkness, hitting two enemies, launching them far away, but not enough to the blast zone.
Alucard disappears inside a green smoke and reappears in front of one of the enemies in the air before thrusting his wings upwards, and then throwing Lip's Stick upwards, sending her to the upper blast zone.
Akira dodges a soccer ball heading that the WFT spawned, before grabbing her and kneeing her three times before suplexing her, launching her upwards.
The dhampir grabs the flower stick again, before doing the same sequence of moves but with that WFT.
"Only one left!" The teen jumps to hit the last enemy with a bycicle kick, and then with his up special.
Alucard grabs Lip's Stick again, and throws it at the flying opponent, defeating her.
Victory!
"Woohoo!" Akira says very slowly.
-"Pfft."- Villager resists his urge to laugh.
"Hey!"
-World of Light-
Raceway
Map (World of Light) - Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
Both fighters appear back at the race track.
"The way you said that sounded really funny!" Kirby says.
"That's what I'm saying!" Villager says.
Akira grunts in annoyance.
"What's so funny about it?" Captain Falcon says.
Villager stops laughing slowly "...Now do you get how I feel?"
"...Yep."
"Alrighty then!"
"Akira, can I ask you something?" Captain Falcon says.
"Yeah, what is it?"
"Why Black Shadow, exactly?"
'...Don't ask me, I have no idea."
"...Okay."
The window appears in front of the teen. "I got the Jack Levin Spirit. It's a three-star normal type Primary Spirit with 2343 Power." He taps the screen again. "We won 159 Smash Coins, 135 Spirit Points, four Skill Points, one large Snack and two medium Snacks." He exits the Results and goes to feed his Primary Spirit.
"It's night already, we should go to sleep soon. Mario says.
"Can I have one more fight?" Akira asks.
"...If you're so eager to, then sure."
"Falcon, you wanna come?"
"Nah, I'm feeling a bit tired right now." The pilot replies.
"You should keep fighting with me, I am supposed to be the son of a vampire, after all." Alucard says.
"Eh, you know what, sure. I'm gonna go fight a Spirit Board Fight." Akira opens up the Spirit Board and seven Bounties appear. They're Dragonite (Pokémon, duh), Toadies (Mario), Baby Peach (Mario, d u h), Skull Man (Mega Man), Magearna (Pokémon), Starlow (Mario), Mecha Ridley (Metroid).
"Could you please explain what the 'Spirit Board' is?"
"It's basically where you can fight without having to go to the spirit."
"It sounds useful."
"It is, I even got a four star Spirit in my second Board fight." Akira says as he looks back at the screen and taps the fifth Bounty.
Vs. Peach (8th alternate costume)
Spirit: Magearna (Pokémon)
Conditions:
- Defeat the main fighter to win
- Reinforcements will appear during the battle
- The enemy is metal
"Okay, this is really gonna be a good fight to end off the day… but I don't feel so… good about hurting Peach, though."
"This one's just a clone, but if you do actually hurt her outside of battle, physically or mentally…" Villager pauses.
"You will face the consequences." Everyone but Alucard and Akira say in unison.
"...Wow… That's… Kinda creepy." The teen says as he and somehow Alucard sweatdrop.
"Do you all really agree on that?" the dhampir asks.
"Yes." The rest of the group say again.
"...Some of us, at least." Captain Falcon finishes.
"Anyways, you should get going." Mario says.
"Alright then…" Akira taps the Fight button as everything fades to black.
"This is Captain Falcon."
"And this is Alucard."
"Don't you think all of this is super weird?"
"Yes, but we don't have much time to think about it, thanks to Galeem."
"But, Akira literally appeared out of nowhere, and now he's on our side? This is one of the most sketchiest things I've ever been through!"
"...Again, we have no other choice but to trust in him."
"And what about the things he said about this 'Dharkon' and his battle with Ga-"
"Shut up, please."
"...Fine, but let that be a warning."
"...The next chapter will be titled: 'Other Ways'."
"...Sounds a bit boring."
