...It's been AN ENTIRE YEAR, and I've only published eight chapters so far… Very cool!

This is the longest chapter yet, with like, 4k words over Chapter 3!

Four weeks ago I had two dreams about writing a fanfiction in a row (the last one was more focused on that, though), so cool, I guess.

And in the next week I was at my friend's house, I found a trash can lid and some type of metal pole (I don't know the name), and I then started acting like Link lmao

On that note, I also liked to grab a glass (cup? vase? whatever) and put it on my hand and pretend I was Mega Man when I was smaller :D

And in the 21st of last month two things happened, that I realized that BO EN (OMORI's bad ending song guy) composed the Pikuniku ost, and that I started seeing fighter jet-looking planes and helicopters on the sky, and my grandpa told me it was because of something about the 24th of July, I searched it up, and would you look at that, It has a ton of important celebrations (two of them being the birth of Simón Bolívar and the 200th anniversary of the Naval Battle of the Lake of Maracaibo, A.K.A. The battle that secured the independence of the Gran Colombia)!

And what a nice start to the month of August, eleven hours with no electricity (they normally just take 2-4 hours so you could guess I was pretty… Desperate, to say the least) because of an oddly aggressive rain, and they said it was gonna take three days for the electricity to come back, but for us it took half a day, and holy shit I'm so glad.

I'm literally using this as a diary now.

- Changed the first line referring to Dharkon from last chapter to fit one of this one's lines (except I deleted said line from this chapter).

Akira and Alucard appear onstage.

"This Peach is covered in metal then...?" The former asks, "I guess that'll distract me from the fact that the enemy is a clone of her…" The teen says, scratching the back of his head.

-"It just feels really bad hurting her in general, to be honest. But obviously, there's a fair share of people who don't care..."- Captain Falcon says with a yawn in the middle of his sentence.

"It's almost like, Rohan Kishibe from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure used Heaven's Door on all of you guys so you can't can't hurt Peach…"

"That was awfully specific." Alucard says.

"If you watched the series up to mid part four you'd understand…"

Ready?

GO!

Battle! (Gladion)

The Peach clone starts running at the fighters, but Alucard swings Crissaegrim across the floor, starting his aerial combo of a punch, another swing of his sword, and ending it off with a Jump Kick.

Akira suddenly gets hit by a saw from behind. "A-Agh! W-What?!" He looks around, startled. "D-Don't tell me there are invisible enemies…" The teen says as another saw appears, and he throws the one that just hit him at the other saw, and he starts to rush at the invisible enemy and hits with a shoulder tackle. "How do you like that?"

Alucard dodges the saw coming at him and slams the main enemy onto the ground, before thrusting his bat wings upwards as she bounces up.

Akira throws a saw back at the same invisible Mega Man clone, and then tries to hit him with an overhand, but the enemy's now behind him, and he gets hit by another saw. "N-Ngh!"

The dhampir throws a flask of Holy Water at the floor, hitting the Peach clone and the other invisible enemy with the pillar of flames it produces. "Hellfire!" He uses said spell and hits them again with the fireballs he generated.

Akira manages to grab the clone behind him, giving him his fair share of knees before doing a suplex, sending him flying.

Alucard summons the Familiar Sword from the ground, breaking the main enemy's shield, also sending her flying, and turning into his bat form, hitting her again.

Akira runs at the other enemies to get the fight done faster, and hits the Peach clone with an overhand in mid air, meteor smashing her.

Alucard dodges an incoming saw from the Mega Man clone, but he can't dodge the second one, so the main opponent ends up landing safely.

"Ugh! I'll get rid of the invisible Mega Mans!" Akira goes to the first one, dodging saws along the way, and hits him with an uppercut, and following it up with an overhand in mid air.

"There's no need, you just have to keep on distracting the other one while I get the main enemy." The dhampir dodges a vegetable from said opponent, before grabbing the peach clone and throwing her backwards, but getting hit by a saw right after.

The teen elbows the Mega Man clone away, turns around to uppercut the main enemy and hits her with a bicycle kick in the air.

Alucard also hits her with a slash, before rushing at one of the Mega Man clones and using the Hellfire spell again to block his saw, before swinging his sword over the ground, launching him upwards, towards the Peach clone.

Akira jumps over to the Mega Man clone and does a double axe handle downwards, meteor smashing him into the void and trying to do the same for the main opponent, but he misses, and gets hit by… Well, Peach's rear attack.

Alucard throws a flask of Holy Water at the only invisible clone remaining, and does the Jump Attack a couple of times, before turning into the bat form and going through him, before using his down smash, sending him all the way to the boundary.

Akira gets back over to the main opponent and uses his up special to get a sacrificial KO, but he miscalculated it, and he misses, but he remains silent as he falls to the bottom blast zone. "Oh, really!?"He screams out as he disappears inside a pillar of light

"..." The dhampir stays quiet as he looks at the spot where Akira went down. Suddenly, the walkie talkie that he had 'jumps' up to Alucard, and he extends his arm to grab it.

-"Hey, at least he was useful!"- Villager says as the object shakes a bit.

He retracts his arm. "I never stated he wasn't, I already know that he got rid of one of the invisible clones and did half the total damage here, along with me."

-"Oh."-

-"Watch out!"- Kirby shouts.

"Yes Kirby, I know." The dhampir turns into his bat form again and hits the Peach clone.

The enemy hits him back by striking downwards with a crown, causing a meteor smash, but he manages to dodge the next hit before throwing another flask of Holy Water onto the opponent and thrusting the Thunderbrand sword onto the main enemy, stunning her, giving himself the chance to charge his up smash. He summons the giant sword again,finally defeating her.

Victory!

Akira is back at the platform above the sky, but is sitting again, waiting for the clone to appear, and then she does after a small while. He takes a deep breath after getting up and prepares himself to shoot the frozen Peach clone, and… He hits, sending the clone far away. "Hell yeah!" He's about to celebrate when the platform disappears, and he falls down.

-World of Light-

Raceway

Map (World of Light) - Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

Akira appears back at the race track inside a yellow fog. "Okay, this time I didn't scream while falling."

"...Excuse me?" Alucard asks.

"Basically, every time I win a Spirit Board fight I appear on a platform over the clouds with a gun with only one bullet, and I have to shoot at the main enemy frozen inside a barrier. Once I finish shooting, the platform disappears and I fall into the clouds below. I've gotten all Spirits so far."

"So I assume you started to scream every time you fell?"

"…Yeah."

"Well, now we can finally go to sleep." Villager says.

"Not before I do what I need to do first."

"Yeah, yeah."

"Uh…" Captain Falcon stares at the teen.

"...What?"

"I can't trust you."

"...Why?"

"Let's just say, no offense, that you're a pretty fishy guy, with all that about the Real World and stuff."

"Could you not?" The dhampir says.

"...You know what, fair enough, I guess we'll have to go get Lucario then."

"Yeah, but he's probably very far-" The pilot gets interrupted

"No, he's pretty close, actually, just along Cliffside Rapids, but we're going to go to the other path."

"..."

"What now?"

"Nevermind." The galactic bounty says as he looks around. "Where should we go to sleep?"

"There's a town near north of here, but it's blocked off."

"..."

"We should go back to the ruins."

"After you."

"...Alright." Akira says as he scratches the back of his head and opens the window. "I got the Magearna Spirit, It's a three-star normal type Support Spirit. Its ability is to nullify ice floors."

"What?" Kirby asks.

"It nullifies ice floors, there are some Spirits that nullify other types of floors, for example; electrical ones, like the one in the Mighty Gazelle fight."

"Oh, now I get it!"

The teen taps the screen again. "We won 137 Smash Coins, 163 Spirit Points, three Skill Spheres, a medium Snack and one small Snack. Primary Spirit leveled up to 70 (I'm not gonna bother calculating the exp it got in general, sorry)." He exits the results and feeds his Primary Spirit before closing the window.

"Let's go." Captain Falcon says.

"We should get wood for a bonfire first."

"...Whatever."

They head back to the ruins, and all of them except for the F-Zero pilot start gathering wood along the way.

Starting Area

"Alrighty…" Akira finishes putting all the sticks in a pyramid at the middle of the ruins. "Done. Mario, go on."

The plumber nods and throws a fireball at the wood, lighting it up.

"Now, time to sleep." He sits down.

"Yay!" Kirby says cheerfully.

"...Oh, Alucard."

"What is it?" The dhampir asks.

"Do dhampirs need to sleep?"

"No, we don't need to."

"Oh, okay, good night." Akira lays down and closes his eyes.

"Good night." Everyone else says as they, except for Alucard, go to sleep.

Three hours later…

New Danganronpa V3 - Darkness Time

Everyone is fast asleep, and half of them are snoring pretty loudly, but Alucard is still awake, looking at the starry sky, a small distance away from the rest.

"Galeem…" The dhampir mutters under his breath as his eye somewhat twitches from the snores from Villager, Captain Falcon and… Kirby.

He looks behind him, narrowing his eyes a bit at Akira. "...Captain Falcon might be right, but we just have to wait to rescue Lucario to see if our suspicions are true." He states to himself.

The teen moves a bit while on the floor even though he's still asleep, which startles Alucard a tiny bit. "..." He remains silent as he looks at him. Then, the dhampir notices something strange… He's… Blushing…?

(...Please skip to Day 3 if you don't want to read any more of this :D)

This confuses Alucard, but he passes it off as something not important, until… Something starts growing alongside his midsection, slowly but steadily, as the dhampir narrows his eyes more.

He immediately turns around, a bit disgusted from that. "...What exactly could he possibly be dreaming about…?" He already knows the answer, even though he doesn't want to know at all.

"Humans… Their feelings are… Somewhat complex… To say the least." He mutters.

Akira starts to open his eyes, still blushing pretty hard. ("Oh come on, it was getting to the good p-") His thoughts get interrupted by the loud snoring.

"Ngh…" He covers his ears, but decides to sit up, and he then notices his… Well, arousal, towering over the lower part of his body. ("...O-Okay…") The teen then looks straight forward, and he notices Alucard sitting, and he starts to panic. ("O-Oh god no… D-Did he look at me…? M-Most importantly… DID HE NOTICE MY-")

"Yes, Akira, I did," The dhampir replies as he looks behind him again, startling Akira. "Even though I (and everybody reading this) wish I didn't. But at least I got something out of that."

"And… What is it?"

"That you…" He pauses. "Are a pervert. Not that it has a role in any of this."

"A-Actually…" The teen raises a finger, but then slowly lowers it as Alucard raises an eyebrow.

"Fair enough." Alucard resumes looking back at the stars. "After all, I don't want to know. Plus, you might not be willing to say anything, since it is a sensitive topic for everyone."

"O-Oh… Okay…"

"You can continue sleeping."

"If these lousy snores let me, that is…" Akira lays down and closes his eyes again.

"...This is… something I certainly did not expect to happen at all." The dhampir mutters again.

("...Yeah, yeah, I'm an absolute weirdo, I know...") Akira says inside his mind as he goes to sleep.

Day 3

Persona 3 - Tranquility

Akira wakes up, and opens up his eyes slowly as he groans.

"Akira just woke up!" Kirby says.

"Now… we just have to wait for Villager to stop snoring… But hey, I'm still sleepy too." Captain Falcon says with a yawn.

"You were snoring loudly too, you know?" Mario points out.

"Just… A bit more… I normally stop wanting to keep sleeping after a minute or two of waking up sleepy..." The teen closes his eyes again, managing to notice Alucard looking at him with a strange expression on his face, and he remembers what happened at night. ("Oh, come on, why am I so dumb?!") He screams internally.

"...Okay." Kirby says as Alucard looks away. "...So what now?"

"We… wait, I suppose." Mario replies.

A minute later…

"Ngh…" Akira groans again as he sits up. "Alright… I'm fully awake…"

"But Villager is still sleeping." Captain Falcon says as said Smasher keeps on snoring.

"In the meanwhile… Do you guys have any questions about my world?

Free Time Event No.5: Kirby, Mario and Captain Falcon

"Well… To start off… What do people think about the Smash series?" Mario asks.

"Let's just say that Smash Ultimate is one of the most popular and best selling games in the entire world."

"Oh, really?" Kirby asks.

"Yes, and I mean, why wouldn't it? It is a series with characters from a really wide variety of franchises, after all."

"What about the competitive side?"

"It's… pretty big, but not as big as Melee's."

"Wait, why Melee? Isn't Ultimate supposed to be the most recent one?" Captain Falcon asks, somewhat confused.

"Let's just say it's better than the latter when we're talking about the competitive side. Brawl's considered the 'worst' one, because it's a lot more casual than competitive."

"Makes sense…" Mario says.

"And since we're still talking about competitive stuff… Every time I choose to fight a level 9 CPU… I end up realizing that I'm still trash at the game after all these years."

"Well hey, It's not like you need to be good at a game to play it, right?" The F-Zero pilot says.

"And plus, you can always try to get better!" Kirby continues the sentence.

"...Yeah." The teen says a bit nervously as the word 'try' lingers inside his mind.

"Anyways, what's the character you use the most?"

"I'd try out Joker, but he's too complicated to use for me, so I just use Chrom." He scratches the back of his head.

"...And what about your favorite alternate costumes?

"They can depend a lot, but I mostly just like black or white outfits."

"Oh, Alright then."

"So, what's the best and worst characters in the game?" Mario asks.

"The worst one is Ganondorf, and the best one is Steve."

"Ganondorf's a surprise, but not Steve…"

"Yeah... he has the same moves as I do, how come he's the one getting that title?" Captain Falcon says.

"I have no idea." Akira answers.

"...Not like I expected you to have any." He mutters

The teen raises an eyebrow, but decides to ignore it. "...By the way, in actual Minecraft you can't just build blocks in the middle of the air, but gravity still doesn't affect them, unless you're talking about gravel or sand."

"...Then it doesn't make any sense for him to be able to do that then..." Captain Falcon says as Akira shrugs.

Villager wakes up, and sits up with a long yawn as he opens his eyes slowly.

"Hey, Villager finally woke up!" Kirby says cheerfully.

"Ugh… What…?"

"We were talking to each other while we were waiting for you to wake up." The plumber says.

"Oh… Alright..." He gets up. "...I'm guessing… We're ready to go now…?" He says, obviously still wanting to keep sleeping.

"It looks like you're still sleepy." The pilot says.

"Nah… Let's go…"

"...If you say so…" The teen replies.

You feel like your relationship will grow soon...

The group starts heading towards the Lilina fight.

Southern Great Plateau

"Wait… When are we going to go the other way?" Kirby asks.

"...I have no idea, but we're just gonna head this way."

"What about Lucario though? Weren't you gonna prove to me that all you're saying is true?" The pilot asks.

"I don't think I need to. Because if I remember correctly, it seemed like you believed everything I said just ten minutes ago, so I don't have to worry about that."

"Hey, I just wanted to be sure!"

"Well, you'll do just that in… A couple of days."

Captain Falcon sighs. "...Alright, fine."

"Wait, let me test something…" Akira looks at Kirby. "Kirby, could you uh… Go there?" He asks the puffball as he points at the fight near them.

"Uh, sure!" Kirby says as he runs towards the fight… But he only gets hit by an explosion coming from the Palutena clone. "Ah!" The pink puffball gets flung back at the group, causing everyone but Alucard to gasp as Akira catches him.

"A-Are you okay?" Akira asks.

"Y-Yeah…" Kirby replies, standing up. "But… What even happened?"

"We have no idea." Captain Falcon says.

"Yeah, we don't." Villager says too.

"Wait a minute… This was what happened when I first got here!" The teen says as he remembers the mentioned event.

"...What?" Mario asks.

"Oh! You mean when you got beat up by that Jigglypuff clone?" The pink puffball asks.

"Yeah that!" Akira opens the window."So… If we can't fight while being alone then…" He taps the options button.

"...Please elaborate further." Alucard says, a bit curious.

"Would you look at that? It's the first time Alucard has talked in the entire day." The plumber says.

("Hmm… I wonder why…") The teen thinks before he explains. "Well, I figured that out by the fact we can't fight alone that the settings page for this window might have an option related to that." He says as he taps the button, and the options open up.

"So you assume that it can be activated and deactivated?"

"Yup! You got that right." Akira taps the Match settings, scrolls through the options and finds 'Force to fight with more than one fighter', but it's locked to being on. "...Alright then, guess I can't get rid of that setting, but I mean, it's kinda helpful."

"...Yeah, just in case someone like Sonic decides to… Well, go on alone." The F-Zero racer says. "And yes, he's just absolutely stuffed with ego."

"Okay… And it turns out that I can't get switched out at all, so you guys basically can't fight at all without me. Which means that…"

"Yeah, yeah, you win."

"Oh, and by the way, I'll be switching Alucard for you, since…" Akira takes a quick look at the dhampir, who looks back at him with a deadpan expression on his face as a response before looking back at the F-Zero racer. "You... haven't fought yet!" He says with a nervous chuckle.

CF raises an eyebrow. "...Okay."

("G-God… I really am a dumbass...") The teen talks to himself mentally as he does what he said he was going to do and switches his Primary Spirit to Octoling before he closes the window.

Vs. Palutena (6th alternate costume)

Spirit: Lilina (Fire Emblem)

Conditions:

-The enemy's explosion and fire attacks will have increased power

- The enemy favors side specials

- Reinforcements will appear during battle

-Xenoblade Chronicles-

Gaur Plains (Battlefield Form)

Akira and Captain Falcon appear on top of the left platform.

The latter turns around to see the former's outfit. "You know, it feels really weird to fight alongside someone who wears the clothes of a person who… really wants to kill me."

Akira scratches the back of his head. "Yeah, I can understand why…"

"...Well, that's how the Job system looks, right?."

"Yeah… and this might come out of nowhere, but… Are you interested in Palutena?"

"Yes, what do you expect? Even though she's a literal goddess, she has an absolutely rocking body, how am I not supposed to like her?" The pilot says as Akira narrows his eyes.

"...I mean, yeah."

Ready?

"Anyways, let's just get to fighting."

GO!

Beyond Distant Skies - Roy's Departure

The Palutena clone moves her staff in a circular motion, and once she finishes said movement, an explosion appears on top of the platform the fighters are on, but Captain Falcon manages to drop down from the platform

"A-Ack! I completely forgot about that attack!" The teen shouts as he gets launched away due to the last hit from the explosion.

The F-Zero racer tries to hit the enemy with a bicycle kick below the platform she's on, but she leaves said platform as another enemy appears.

"...I'll get the Roy clone."

"Alright." Captain Falcon performs a flaming uppercut on said clone after throwing the main enemy away.

Akira jumps up to the platform the Roy clone was sent to, before he does a double axe handle downwards, causing a meteor smash, before landing a bicycle kick.

The pilot runs at the opponent, but she manages to hit an explosion on him, sending him away.

Akira tries to land an up special, but it gets dodged. "Ugh! Again?!" He groans before the Roy clone turns around and gets hit back by an upward slash.

The Palutena clone charges up another side special and tries to hit farther away, but Captain Falcon rushes at the enemy as he lands back onstage, dodging the explosion. He lands a shoulder, before throwing out a backhanded punch.

Akira blocks a reverse-gripped downward slash and another one, but in the air. He then swings his hand in an arc above him, right into an uppercut, sending the clone flying.

"Falcon Kick!" The F-Zero racer shouts he gets propelled forwards as he performs a flying kick, it only damages her a smaller amount than expected, but he then dodges several spins from the goddess' staff. "Falcon…" He then tries his luck with that move. "...Punch!" He shouts as he thrusts his fist forwards, completely missing the enemy and getting hit by an explosion as a 'punishment' for missing the Falcon Punch.

-"...Really? You tried to attack with a Falcon Punch?"- Villager asks, with an unamused tone in his voice.

"Yeah, I did!" Captain Falcon replies.

Akira jumps up to the Roy clone, but instead of doing a bicycle kick he waits for the opponent to get lower than him and dodges an upward arching slash and dives down diagonally (down special in the air) onto the clone, sending him away again.

Captain Falcon lands again and rushes through an explosion towards the Palutena clone and jumps above the enemy, before doing a sweetspotted double foot stomp, getting meteor smashed into a sourspotted knee strike, with the last attack becoming extremely weak and gets hit by a kick in the air.

Akira jumps towards the Roy clone and does an overhand midair, but the opponent predicts it pretty easily and counters said attack, "Oh, great." He says sarcastically as he gets hit back with an outward smash with the ignited Blinding Blade.

The pilot propels himself forwards towards the Palutena clone, dodging yet another explosion along the way, doing a flaming uppercut once making contact with her. "Here's a taste of your own medicine!" He shouts as he follows it up by leaping upwards and grabs the opponent before causing an explosion and shouting again; "Yes!"

The teen lands onto the right platform, but then immediately gets hit by an inward slash, followed by a spinning outward slash and a downward one, finishing the combo by a sequence of fast slashes with a blue trail, before igniting his blade again at the last hit. "U-Ugh!"

-"That isn't very good…"- Kirby says, a bit worried.

"Guess I'll have to do my best now!" Captain Falcon shouts as he jumps to the Roy clone to hit him with a hook kick onto a sourspotted knee strike "I guess not, then." He says before gets hit back with a kneeling thrust followed up by a fiery upward thrust, luckily still not defeating him.

Akira lands back safely onstage. "Hey, at least you distracted him." He says as he looks forwards notices a Deku Nut on the middle of the stage and the Palutena clone falling from the upper platform. "Oh no you don't!" He runs as fast as he can (...not really) and grabs it right when the main enemy lands. "Eat this!" He shouts as he then throws the item at her, causing her to become dizzy. "Alright!" He grabs her, knees her three times and finishes it off by slamming her onto the ground, sending her flying upwards again.

The pilot goes to the main opponent and finally lands a good knee strike, launching her offstage.

"You should go after her, I'd probably screw it up, again." The teen thrusts his elbow towards the Roy clone to interrupt him from trying to jump up to the F-Zero racer.

"I was going to, anyway." Captain Falcon rushes to the recovering Palutena clone, and performs a hook kick followed up by a roundhouse kick… but they both get dodged. "...Nevermind." He says a bit disappointed in himself as he gets back onto the stage by lunging at the ledge while the main opponent disappears and then reappears on top of the upper platform.

"Great, now she's back here with her almost full Final Smash Meter! …I just hope she doesn't use it on me." Akira says as he jumps closer to the Roy clone to get a down special from him, before punishing that failed move with a downward axe handle, spiking him, but he gets back onstage with ease due to being close to the ledge

"Hey, stop acting like it's my fault!" The F-Zero racer says as he jumps to the main enemy, but she proceeds to drop down from the platform she was standing on to land an explosion on him, sending him away.

After that, the entire stage gets dark as the Palutena clone gets surrounded by a rainbow aura, indicating that her Final Smash is ready.

"...At first I didn't mean to, but now I do." Akira says as the opponent activates her Final Smash.

"Watch this!" The Palutena clone shouts as she illuminates her staff's orb. "Black Hole!" She shouts again before firing a Black Hole Laser, causing Akira to get sucked into said astronomical object, "And Mega Laser!" She shouts yet again as she retreats offstage to shoot a Mega Laser at it. (Meanwhile, the Roy clone holds the Binding Blade over his head as a taunt), launching the teen off to the Blast zone once the laser dissipates. "Oh, come on!" He shouts as he gets defeated.

"...Fair enough, then." Captain Falcon says after recovering back onstage, and rushes at the now vulnerable enemy and lands a knee strike, sending her to the boundary, KOing her.

-"Yeah, That's what she gets!"- Akira says over the walkie talkie as said object falls onto the upper platform.

-"Oh, so you appear back here once you get KO'd?"- Kirby asks as the pilot dodges a down air from the last enemy remaining.

-"Yeah, I guess."- Captain Falcon counterattacks with a one-two combo followed by the 'Gentleman' knee strike, before performing a flurry of punches.

-"But when you win in a Spirit Board Fight you get sent to a place above the sky, right?" Mario also asks as the Roy clone manages to get out of the punches and grabs the F-Zero racer, giving him his fair share of knee strikes before performing an elbow strike.

-"Yup."- The enemy rushes at the bounty hunter and dodges his knee strike, before landing some rapid slashes, launching him away on the last one.

-"That's pretty cool."- Villager says as Captain Falcon recovers back to the stage, managing to dodge a downward slash along the way, before landing a critical hit with yet another knee strike.

Victory!

Southern Great Plateau

Map (World of Light) - Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

Captain Falcon appears back at the path.

"Also, I'd be terribly traumatized if I got sucked into an actual black hole…" Akira says.

"Understandable." Villager replies as he shrugs.

"Like, if just looking at the image of a planet scares me, then I can't imagine how I would act in that situation…"

"You're really scared of them, huh?" Kirby says.

"...Of course you're the one who says that…" Akira then looks and smiles at the F-Zero racer. "Oh, and nice save there, Cap."

"You're talking about the fight?" Captain Falcon asks.

"Mhm." He nods his head.

"Oh, thanks."

"No problem." Akira looks at the window, which just appeared in front of him. "Alright, so I got the Lilina Spirit, it's a two-star attack type Primary Spirit with 1570 Power." He taps the screen. "We won 139 Smash Coins, 160 Spirit Points, two Skill Spheres and three small Snacks." He taps the screen again and feeds his Primary Spirit up to level 71 before closing the window. "Alright, let's get going." He says as the group starts heading towards the next fight.

Vs. Lucina (6th alternate costume)

Spirit: Fiora (Xenoblade Chronicles)

Conditions:

- You have reduced defense after a little while

-Xenoblade Chronicles-

Gaur Plains (Battlefield Form)

Both Akira and Captain Falcon appear on one of the platforms above the plain.

"Ooh, Fiora!" The former says, pretty excited.

-"Uh, what?"- Villager asks.

"...I just really like the Xenoblade Chronicles series, alright?"

-"Oh, okay... That's pretty neat, I guess."-

"Anyways, how many times are we going to fight on this stage?" The F-Zero racer asks.

"At least… One more time, but not next fight, if I remember correctly…" He answers. "But hey, it isn't much of a problem anyways."

"...Yeah."

Ready?

GO!

Time to Fight! - Xenoblade Chronicles

The Lucina clone starts out the fight by jumping towards the platform the two fighters are on while the Shulk clone activates the Speed Monado Art while shouting: "Speed!"

Captain Falcon drops down from the platform to face the minion just casually breaking the sound barrier, though managing to block an inward slash and a kneeling one, dodging a forward thrust with the Monado's beam blade as well, but he gets grabbed by the enemy right before the Monado Art ends, getting hit by the sword's pommel before getting thrown up in the air and hit with a downward kneeling thrust.

Akira goes for the other opponent and attacks her with an elbow thrust, but it gets dodged before getting hit by a descending crescent slash.

The pilot recovers from the previous attack and drops down from the platform again, this time without getting hit, attacks with a double foot stomp on the Shulk clone, spiking him, before following it up with a bicycle kick.

Akira goes to the main enemy to resume his attacks… Attacking attempts, since he gets hit with several slashes, getting sent back to the edge of the stage.

Captain Falcon propels himself towards the Lucina clone, hitting her with a flaming overhand, causing another meteor smash.

Akira tries landing an attack of his own after seeing the pilot land a side smash on the enemy, and attacks with another elbow thrust, pushing her away.

Captain Falcon rushes at the currently flying main enemy, and tries to grab her with a flaming uppercut, but he then gets hit back by a downward crescent slash right after regaining control, meteor smashing him back.

The teen decides to go after the Shulk clone, but said clone decides to activate the Buster Monado Art. "Buster!"

-"Yeah, you should probably start running away now."- Villager warns Akira.

"Nope, nope, nope and nope!" He says as he immediately starts retreating back.

The F-Zero racer manages to get back up due to being near the ledge (again), and does another bicycle kick, followed up by another flaming uppercut, but he actually grabs her this time, letting her go from his grip with an explosion. "Yes!"

The teen dodges an inward slash from the Monado, before hitting back with a sweep kick, but then getting hit by an inward slash and then a kneeling one, before finishing it off with a forward thrust with the sword, causing him to get flung away as the Art ends.

Captain Falcon lands on the left platform and starts rushing at the enemies again, and hits the main opponent with a knee strike and then goes to the other clone to land another, but it instead just breaks the enemy's shield. He takes advantage of it and lands a backhanded punch.

Akira uses an up special, sending the Shulk clone down with him, although he cancels the fall himself. He dodges a potential spike as they both try to get back up to the stage, giving Akira the chance to use his down special, acting as a sacrificial KO. "Agh!"

Akira reappears outside of the battle as the walkie talkie bounces back up from the blast zone and lands on the edge of the stage. -"Ugh… it's the third time in a row that I've been KO'd by now…"- Akira sighs.

-"Well, this time was on purpose, so you can't really blame anyone here.."- Mario replies.

-"Wasn't going to, anyway…"-

Now, with two fighters out and two remaining, it's up to Captain Falcon to KO the Lucina clone and win the battle (the cheesiness)! The enemy falls down to the pilot and attacks with a neutral aerial, followed up by another sequence of several fast slashes with a red trail, sending him away at the last slash.

Captain Falcon manages to get back from those blows a bit slower than usual, but he ignores that and lands a hook kick in the air, then a knee strike, launching her pretty far away, but not enough.

The main enemy gets back onstage fairly quickly, and starts running at the pilot, who just dropped down from the platform he was standing on, she tries to hit him with an upward-sweeping diagonal slash but it misses.

Having the chance to end the fight, the F-Zero counter attacks with a roundhouse kick, followed by a backhanded punch, actually sending her to the boundary this time.

Victory!

-World of Light-

Southern Great Plateau

Map (World of Light) - Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

Captain Falcon appears back at the road.

"Now we're one more step closer to rescuing Link and unlocking Anna's shop!" Akira says excitedly.

"Wait, there are shops now?" Kirby asks.

"Yup! It's at the path opposite to where Link's fight is located. Though we'll have to fight Anna herself first before getting access to the shop."

"But what does she sell over there?" Mario asks as well.

"Well, if I remember correctly… She sells Spirits, and other stuff too in exchange for Spirit Points."

"Is that even possible?" Alucard asks, somewhat shocked by what Akira just said.

"Yeah, how can someone even sell actual people's spirits in the first place?" Villager asks.

"I have no idea." Akira replies, scratching the back of his head.

"I mean, sure, it's useful, but it's literal life trafficking! Isn't it supposed to be illegal?"

"It is, but I assume that once we defeat Galeem and Dharkon they'll come back to their bodies. Am I right… Akira?" The dhampir asks, looking at the teen.

"Yeah, I guess…" He replies

"...Okay, fine, whatever." Villager sighs.

"Anyways…" Akira opens the window. "I got the Fiora Spirit. It's a three star defense type Support Spirit. Its ability is to start out the fight in metal form." He taps the screen. "We won 161 Smash Coins, four Skill Spheres and a large Snack, nice." He taps the screen again and goes to feed his Primary Spirit and switches his Spirit to Octoling before closing the window and then starts heading towards the next battle as the rest follows him.

Vs. Jigglypuff (7th alternate costume)

Spirit: Miltank (Pokémon)

Conditions:

- The enemy's neutral special has increased power

- The enemy favors neutral specials

-Xenoblade Chronicles-

Gaur Plains

Both Captain Falcon and Akira appear on this stage again.

"So this is the second Pokémon battle, huh?" Akira asks.

-"You're referring to the game the Spirit you're going to fight's origin, right?"- Mario asks.

"Yeah."

"Akira." The pilot looks back at him.

"...Yes?"

"You said this fight wasn't gonna be on this stage."

"Oh, yeah, I misremembered, sorry. Don't think I'm more suspicious just because of that…"

"...Whatever." He looks back at the enemy.

Ready?

GO!

Pokémon Gold / Silver Medley

Akira runs at the Jigglypuff clone, and vice versa, both using their forward airs at the same time, cancelling out each other's attack.

Captain Falcon jumps towards the enemy, trying to land a knee strike, but he gets hit by Rollout, getting him and Akira pushed away.

The teen manages to stop his knockback by getting a hold of the platform below him and immediately stands up with a surprised look on his face. "W-Wait, did I just do a Tech?" He asks. "That was really cool!"

-"Yeah, it was!" Kirby says.

-"And plus, most of us don't use it that much, some haven't even tried doing one."- Mario says.

"And would you look at that? I did it accidentally! …Not like it's something to brag about, though." Akira scratches the back of his head as he says the last part.

"Hey! Could you please help out here instead of being surprised by something so unimportant?" The pilot shouts.

"Oh, right!" Akira drops down from the platform he was on and notices Captain Falcon getting hit by Rollout again after doing a short combo. He rushes towards the rolling enemy, and hits her with an overhand filled with dark energy.

The F-Zero racer then gets hit by a flying kick from the enemy, launching him farther. "Hey!"

"Oh, come on!" Akira shouts in annoyance as he realizes that the attack he just did only helped the enemy to land more hits on Captain Falcon. He jumps towards the opponent, landing an elbow on her, and she manages to dodge a double foot stomp from the pilot before starting to recover back onstage.

Captain Falcon also heads towards the platforms as Akira tries to prevent the Jigglypuff clone to land on the actual stage by blocking her way and doing several attacks against her, but the plan fails apart completely (and a bit embarrassingly) as she just dodges all of his attacks. "...Okay then, whatever."

The bounty hunter lands safely on the base platform and immediately jumps to the upper one to keep on fighting the balloon Pokémon, but then, a Lightning Bolt appears on the left platform.

-"Get the Lightning Bolt! I mean, sure, it might backfire, but still!"- Villager says.

"If you say so." Akira and Captain Falcon start to go towards the item's location, but the enemy does the same thing, so it ends up being a 'Race to the Item'.

The latter manages to get a flaming uppercut on the clone, tries to land a knee strike on her, but she dodges it, and falls down to touch the item before the former even can reach the platform.

The teen looks up to see a lightning bolt going straight at him "Agh!" He gets hurt by a short shock all over his body, and once he opens his eyes, he finds out that he's a lot smaller now. "Hmm yes, very funny."

-"You're screwed if you don't start running right now."- Villager says.

"I already knew th-!" Akira gets interrupted by a loud thud (from his perspective) and looks to the side to find the giant pink puffball rolling at him. He tries to run away, but he gets rolled over, and consequently, flung before he can even make the first step.

Captain Falcon regains control from getting rolled over by the Jigglypuff clone (yes he did get hit offscreen, or well, 'offline', you could say) and decides to fall down to get to the enemy faster and land a diving kick, but he instead gets hit by her down special, causing a critical hit and sending him all the way to the boundary, KOing him. "Uagh!" (I tried my best to replicate the sound he makes lol)

"Oh, how funny, now Falcon just got defeated. And I'm most likely going to screw this up now." Akira says as he starts running away.

-"You should have more confidence in yourself, Akira."- Mario says.

"Mario, it has nothing to do with that, because the clone might catch up with me and hit me with her down special and, well, lose the fight! Plus, this Job doesn't have any ranged attacks, so I have to run, but I'm also a bit too small because of the Lightning Bolt!" Akira keeps on ranting as he runs away from the enemy, but she's only getting closer and closer.

-"Dude, chill out, okay?"- The pilot says after reappearing back at the Light Realm.

(Not so fun fact: This and the part until SSBB Battlefield plays had... Wangst, I kept it in for two days until I realized that I should just have edited it out, but 18 people already read this chapter and saw the wangst. But hey, me = wangsty ass person, wangsty ass me = wangsty ass Akira)

Akira sighs. "Okay, fine, I'll just keep on running until I lose or I get my size back..." He keeps on running and running laps around the stage, but in exchange, the Jigglypuff clone keeps getting closer and closer.

Akira looks behind him. "I'm running... As fast... As I can... But you're telling me that she's still... Catching up...?" He says, panting.

-"You're telling me you're this exhausted already?"- Captain Falcon asks.

"Yeah, what do you expect, I don't excercise at all!" He yells as his exhaustion forces him to slow down his speed, but he still tries to run faster. In the end, the clone gets to him right before the item's effect stops, and she uses her down special on him, causing another critical hit and launching him to the blast zone. "...Fine." He mutters to himself in defeat as he disappears in the far distance as a star.

(this scene does not make any sense lmao I really had some problems with the time management here but whatever)

Defeat.

-World of Light-

Southern Great Plateau

No music is currently playing.

Akira reappears back at the path, with his eyes closed, sighing.

"I'm ready for it." He says.

"Ready for what?" Kirby asks.

"We lost, so I assume that we'll get some sort of punishment for that."

"Once again, if said 'punishment' exists, there's a chance that it might not be what you think." Alucard says.

"...Yeah, but I was just really stressed then, and I just couldn't get that thought out of my head."

"It's alright, Akira." Mario replies.

"But still, I could have won if I just calmed down, I'm Sorry."

"What are you apologizing for?" Villager asks.

"It's not like we're mad at you or anything like that." The puffball says.

"Yeah, you lost a fight, but that doesn't mean you have to apologize. It's not that much of a big deal, we can just fight however many times we have here, right?" Captain Falcon says.

"What matters is that you tried." The plumber tries to cheer Akira up.

"...Thanks, I guess."

"You don't have to thank anyone at all, you're part of the team now." Mario replies.

"Yeah, I know that..."

"Why are you acting so sad about this?" Kirby asks.

Akira sighs. "...Let's just say that I have such a low self-esteem that... Well, I whine about every bad thing I do, no matter how unimportant it is."

"You weren't whining though!"

"Oh, yeah... Your self-esteem." Villager says.

"I don't think self-esteem can make you 'whine' about stuff like that."

"You should have seen me when I was a kid." Akira frowns.

"...Fair enough (out of the four 'fair enough's in this chapter, CF has said three of them)."

"And... I also kind of like to think that my parents died on purpouse just because they didn't want to have to deal with my bullshit." The teen says with a smile as everyone else (except for Alucard...) looks at him, somewhat surprised by what he just said. "I already told you guys I hated myself."

"You said you have low-self esteem, not that you hate yourself." Kirby points out.

"It's the same thing, you know?"

"True, but..." The puffball tries to refute Akira's argument, but he can't figure out a good comeback.

"I really just like to whine about stuff, alright?"

"...Okay." Kirby then just gives up.

Meanwhile, Alucard is looking in the direction where Galeem should be located, and he notices something… Different.

Battlefield - Super Smash Bros. Brawl

He notices… A group of Master Hands going at full speed towards their location, and he brandishes Crissaegrim. "We have uninvited guests flying towards us." The dhampir warns the rest of the group.

"Wait, really?" Captain Falcon looks at the direction Alucard is facing.

"Looks like it." Villager replies as he pulls out a slingshot.

"I'll change Jobs now." He says as he opens the window and skims through the results. "No, not now!"

The Master Hands finally catch up to the group, and all six of them start to fire lasers from their fingertips directed towards their respective fighters, going one on one.

The fighters fire their respective projectiles at the floating gloves. Villager shoots slingshot pellets, Mario throws fireballs, Alucard summons his own type of fireballs by casting the Hellfire spell, Kirby spits out their own lasers at them, meanwhile the F-Zero racer and Akira resort to dodging them.

"I can't concentrate on two things at once!" The latter says as he taps the Jobs button while he dodges the laser beams fired at him.

"Someone get the ones attacking Akira and Captain Falcon!" Villager shouts.

"Yeah!" Kirby goes to the dodging pilot and starts inhaling the lasers directed to him as well.

"I'll get the one firing at Akira!" Alucard shouts as a beam gets extremely close to landing on Akira, but he gets in the way, somehow reflecting the laser with his sword.

"Here it is!" Akira taps the Geno Job's icon as the dhampir keeps on casting Hellfire, and his clothes start turning into Geno's. "I'm ready!"

"About time!" Captain Falcon shouts.

The teen extends his hands towards the Master Hand nearest to him as it turns into a slim cannon, and he shoots a beam of his own from it, actually managing to damage him.

"Take that!" Villager says as he finally lands a pellet on the Master Hand attacking him, but not doing much damage, as expected.

Akira keeps on firing beams at the Master Hand, until he manages to take it down. "Yeah!"

Kirby jumps above the Master Hand, dodging some lasers along the way, before turning into a pink rock and falling down on him, defeating said enemy.

Seeing as two of their fellow hands got defeated, the rest of them started to hover above their respective enemies with their hands (A.K.A. body) open.

"We're not gonna fall for that so easily!" The pilot says as they all avoid getting crushed pretty easily.

"We've gone through that attack before!" Villager says right after.

The group of Master Hands Master Hands then start to ball up into fists, and rush at the fighters, but they, again, dodge it with ease. due to already knowing the attack.

"Their coordination is perfect, but it's not the best strategy in this situation." Alucard says.

"Yeah, I wonder why they're doing that in the first place!" Akira shoots again at one of the Master Hands, almost managing to defeat him.

The Master Hands then suddenly go right up to the sky really fast.

"W-Wha-?!" Akira asks, a bit startled by the speed they're flying at.

"Watch out!" Mario warns everybody as the enemies start to dive down as they twirl around rapidly.

"Oh god, not this attack!" Akira says as he tries to dodge, but he gets pulled into it before getting thrown away as the attack ends.

"Akira!" Villager shouts, looking back at the teen.

"I-I'm okay!" He replies as he gets up from the floor. "Watch out for the next attacks, alright?"

Villager nods as he looks back at the enemies, finding himself looking straight at a finger, a finger that sends him away, right above Akira. "Ngh…"

"Ah!" Akira gasps, surprised at the attack the Smasher just received, and looks back at the hand that hit him, starting to charge up a beam.

The hand starts heading at the teen, who is still charging up his beam, but before the clone could get the chance to grab him, Captain Falcon kicks the hand out of the way. "No need to thank me."

"Alright then." Akira replies as he then fires his completely charged laser at the Master Hand on the floor, seemingly… turning most of his body into dust. "...Oh." The teen says as he lowers his arm, a bit uncomfortable because of what he just did.

Kirby runs at the Master Hand attacking Alucard, and he opens his mouth as much as he can, and he starts inhaling him, before spitting him out.

"There, Hellfire!" The dhampir shouts as he summons four last fireballs, all hitting the enemy, before Kirby turns into a gaudy chest and falls down on the hand, defeating him as well.

Now that there are only two remaining, the group surrounds them in a circle, but both clone's decide to fly away, but Villager manages to land another pellet on one of the retreating hands.

Map (World of Light) - Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

"And don't come back!" Villager shouts, still with an angry expression on his face.

"What Villager said!" Akira says, pretty proud of himself, after defeating two of the retreating enemies.

"Akira, you really helped on that one." Mario says, smiling at the teen.

"O-Oh, guess I really am useful, after all." He smiles back

"What, did you think you weren't?" Villager asks him.

Akira chuckles. "That's low self-esteem for ya!"

Background music stops

But, while the others were celebrating having won that fight, Alucard noticed something, again. "...That does not look good." He says, getting the rest of the group's attention.

"...What is it?" The teen asks, pretty intrigued as the dhampir points at… Another group of Master Hand clones, except ten times bigger. Although the sight was something to behold, for the fighters, it was an absolute nightmare coming straight at them

Persona 3 - Shadow

"...Oh… God… No…" Akira says as his eyes widen, as well for the rest.

"W-We can't fight that many!" Captain Falcon panics.

"And we can't run away either." Mario says.

"Then we're screwed!" Villager replies.

"N-Not if we- A-Agh!" Akira gets interrupted by several laser beams that landed on his back, coming from another group of clones right behind them. "Ah…" He falls down to the floor.

"A-Akira!" Kirby shouts as he runs towards the teen. "Are you okay?"

"We're surrounded!" Alucard says, looking around.

The puffball looks up at the enemies, but he meets another barrage of laser beams as well, and falls unconscious.

"Ngh…" Akira tries to get up, but it's completely useless, as he is pretty much forced to watch the rest of the group fall unconscious before he, himself, starts to close his eyes slowly.

As you just read, everyone else is unconscious, so I'll be the one to do this segment, and since it's only me, it's gonna be shorter than normal…

What a cliffhanger, am I right? You may be asking 'So… Did everyone get captured?' or 'Why didn't Galeem do this sooner?' or maybe even, 'What the hell even happened?!', but be patient, you'll figure that out after the next three chapters… Or you could just ask me in PMs if you're that impatient.

But for now… The next chapter is named… "Was it a Dream?"... I wonder…

The title is somewhat inspired by the song called 'Was it a Dream?' by Dick Powell, which is used in Everywhere at The End of Time by Leyland Kirby's K1, Advanced Plaque Entanglements, at 3:56 seconds in.

Oh, and fun fact; that was the only part where I cried in the entire album. Yep, not at the end, except it was at this Post-Awareness lucidity segment.
