We found Vicki in the school parking lot. It seemed that she was sticking to places that she knew, which made her easier to find. She was trying to feed on Tyler Lockwood. While he was not someone that I particularly cared about, I knew that he was probably the last person that we could let be vampire food. He was the mayor's son and thus he was pretty important. Him dying would cause a lot of problems. Fortunately Stefan was able to tear her off of him. Unfortunately, Damon had also showed up. Him being places tended to make things worse. Vicki began to flail in Stefan's arms.

"Let me go." She demanded.

"What's wrong with her, Stefan?" Tyler asked.

"You don't get to talk." Damon stated. I still was not sure why he was here.

"Fuck you, Dude." Tyler replied. He was going to wish that he hadn't said that.

"Dude? Fuck me?" Damon responded before he grabbed Tyler by the neck.

"Damon, don't." I ordered.

"Who's going to miss this asshole?" Damon questioned.

"He's the mayor's son. You can't kill him." I pointed out;.

"None of us were here." Damon compelled before he threw Tyler against a car. I wasn't sure why that was necessary.

We started to take Vicki home.

"So why is your hair so messy?" Damon asked me. I blushed at the question.

"It's sweaty from running around looking for her." I lied. They wouldn't have to know that I had sex with Elena. I couldn't believe that I had sex with Elena. I didn't think that she liked girls like that and that was definitely not something that I could tell Stefan.

When we got back, it was a struggle. We would have to get Vicki to sleep. I had a feeling that teaching her how to be a vampire would be hell. Hopefully, Stefan would take the lead and Rachel and I wouldn't have to be involved, but I had a feeling that that wouldn't be the case. Eventually, we managed to get her to sleep.

"So why do you smell like sex?" Rachel asked me once we were in our room.

"I don't." I lied.

"Did you have sex with the teacher?" She inquired.

"I didn't have sex with anyone." I argued.

"I'm not going to let you sleep until you tell me who you had sex with." She told me. I knew that there were ways that I could her to shut up, but she was my best friend and I didn't want to do any of those to her.

"Why is it so important to you?" I countered.

"Because it's been years since you slept with anyone and now you're trying to hide it from me. Who am I if not a bad influence on you?" She asked.

I sighed. There was probably no way that I could get out of this and even if she didn't keep me up all night, there was no way that she would stop bugging me until I told her.

"I'll only tell you if promise not to tell anyone." I declared.

"Why?" She asked.

"Promise me." I demanded.

"Fine. I won't tell anyone." She relented before I went up to her ear.

"Elena." I whispered.

"You had sex with…" She said before I covered her mouth.

"What did I just say?" I scolded her.

"I can't believe that you had sex with her." She replied.

"Can we please stop talking about it and go to bed?" I requested as I started to finally change. I had had enough drama for one day and hoped that tomorrow would be drama free.

In the morning, I got dressed in a pink tank top and black jeans with a leather jacket. I didn't put shoes on because I didn't think that I would be going out today with all of the Vicki stuff happening in the house. I wished that I had Kelsey's number so I could text her about not being there. Stefan's plan was to get Vicki to drink animal blood and I personally thought it was a terrible idea. We went downstairs to hear her calling Matt to let him know that she was okay. She was kind of making it sound like she was being held hostage. I mean technically she was, but it was daylight and she couldn't go out with no ring.

The thing was we have to come up with a reason why Vicki couldn't see anyone. Maybe since she had a history of drug use, we could say that she was in rehab. I would have to run the idea by Elena since I was pre sure that she wouldn't want us making that decision without her.

"I don't know why I have to be here." Vicki whined. "I wanna go home."

"You can't go out in the sun." Rachel deadpanned.

"Also you're changing and you don't want to do something like that on your own." Stefan replied.

"There's nothing about that Logan guy I killed in here," Damon replied from the table. He was reading the paper. "I think someone is covering it up."

"What's that?" Vicki asked as she noticed the thing in Damon's hand. I didn't know it was either since I hadn't been paying attention to it.

"It's a very old compass that points to vampires." Damon explained. "Why did Logan Fell have it?"

"If you're so worried, maybe you should leave town." Stefan suggested. I couldn't understand why Stefan disliked him so much. I mean I understood that Damon was an asshole who killed people, but it seemed like there were some greater issues there. Did it have to do with Katherine?

"We should all be worried, Stefan." Damon countered. "Unless you think that Logan was working alone."

"Hey. I'm hungry. Do you have anything to eat?" Vicki asked. Fortunately, she hadn't tried to go through mine and Rachel's stash. Stefan handed her a cup. I wasn't sure what it was from but it didn't smell good. "What's this?"

"It's what you're craving." Stefan answered. I doubted that it was. She sipped it and made a face of disgust.

"Don't lie to the girl. It's so not what she's craving." Damon replied. "So where'd you get it Stefan, is it from a deer, skunk? She needs people blood."

I couldn't help but wonder where Stefan actually had gotten it and more importantly how he had got it in a cup.

"Yeah, why can't I have people blood?" Vicki asked. We did not have enough blood bags to feed her and I wasn't about to get any more.

"Because it's wrong to feed on innocent people." Stefan answered. What about people who weren't innocent? Also, I wished that I was at school.

"You have to kill to feed." Damon argued. "Just find someone, take a bite, and compel them."

God I wanted to be anywhere else right now. I did not want to hear them arguing about what the best way to train Vicki was and I had a feeling that she wouldn't listen to either of them. I needed to go downstairs because the two of them were driving me crazy. I headed outside and that was where I saw Elena.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"Do you know where Vicki is?" She retorted.

"Yeah, she's inside." I replied like it was no big deal even though it was probably a big deal. At that point, Damon came outside. "Elena, just ignore him."

Before either of them could say anything, I took her into the house. I could not stand any more fighting. It wasn't even 7:30 yet. So much for a drama-free day.

"So what are we doing about Vicki because half the town is looking for her including my brother?" Elena asked.

"I want to say that she's in rehab and she can't have any visitors. It could give us some time until she's ready to go back to the outside world." I replied.

"How long is that?" Vicki interrupted from the top of the stairs.

"Ask Stefan." I declared. The truth was we had no idea when we would able to get her a daylight ring. I knew Bonnie was a witch, but I doubted she could make one. I wasn't even sure if Rachel remembered the spell.

"Hey, Vicki, how are you?" Elena asked. She shouldn't have done that.

"I'm fucking peachy." Vicki replied.

From there, we all went upstairs and sat at the table with Vicki. All I kept repeating in my head was how much it sucked. I didn't want Elena to say anything to let Stefan know that the two of us had fucked. I didn't want Rachel to let it slip out either. Stefan was trying to lecture her on coffee. I didn't know one vampire who had coffee instead of alcohol to quill the cravings, but I supposed that wasn't an option for her. Honestly, trying to keep her alive was probably more trouble than it was worth.

"What if I want to drink human blood?" Vicki asked.

"You're going to have to live with that urge and fight it one day at a time." Stefan said. This felt like she was in rehab.

"Ugh, don't get me started on that 12 Steps crap." Vicki remarked. "School counselor has already been down that road. It doesn't work for me."

Yeah, this wasn't going to end well.

"It can work." Stefan argued.

"So you've never had human blood?" She questioned. I kind of wanted to know that myself. I doubted someone could go completely without human blood.

"It's been a long time." Stefan answered.

"How long?" Vicki asked him.

"That's none of your business." Rachel shouted.

"Does this sketchy feeling ever go away?" Vicki asked. "It's like I have a massive hangover and this no going in the sun thing is a bitch. I need more blood. I have to pee. Why do I have to pee? I thought I was dead."

She then walked off to go to the bathroom.

"I'm gonna get her some more blood." Stefan announced before he too walked off leaving me with Elena and Rachel. It was a little uncomfortable.

"So can we talk about last night?" Elena asked. However before I could say anything, Vicki came back.

"False alarm." She said. "My body is all fucked up lately, but it's a good fucked."

I then noticed that she had her phone out. I was surprised that she even still had that. She started to text someone.

"Who are you texting?" Elena asked.

"Jeremy." Vicki answered.

"Vicki, you can't see Jeremy." I declared.

"I'm going to see whoever I want to see." Vicki replied before she grabbed Elena. However, before she could get a word out, Rachel tackled her.

"Enough! I have heard you bitching ever since you got here. Get off your damn high horse already. If you don't quit acting so entitled, you are going to die. I might have to do it myself."

I decided that the best thing that I could do was take Elena outside.

"How long is she going to be like that?" She asked as she massaged her neck.

"I don't know." I replied. "So I want to talk about last night but I don't want Stefan to find out. I'm not going to say that it wasn't good, but it was a mistake."

"How long did it take you?" She asked me. She changed the subject back. I hoped that I hadn't upset her.

"I learned pretty quickly but that was mainly because I was afraid that Rachel would kill me if I didn't." I admitted. "Plus Stefan thinks that because of her history of drug abuse, it may be harder to get her under control."

"So she's a vampire with issues?" She replied in disbelief. I was pretty sure that all of us had issues.

"Right now it's hard to resist certain people. The feelings can all mix together into hunger. It happened with Rachel's boyfriend. If I had been there, he wouldn't be somebody's grandpa right now. The important thing I'm saying is she can't see Jeremy right now." I explained.

"I should get going." She announced.

"Elena, are you mad at me?" I asked.

"I just thought we had more than this." She answered.

"I don't know what we have." I admitted. "I'm just really stressed right now and I haven't been able to think about it."

"Well whenever you figure it out, let me know." She told me before she walked away. Now I had a time limit. I didn't need any more stress.

I went back inside to hear Stefan was scolding Vicki. I still didn't think that his method was effective. While Damon's idea was more reckless, it was probably the better one in the long run. It was literally what I did with Rachel and while there were some missteps, it was a good learning experience.

Speaking of Damon, he came back when it was dark and I saw him trying to take Vicki outside.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"She's been cooped up all day." He explained. "She needs some air."

"She can't go out." Stefan argued.

"If you want to teach her, she needs to do it in the real world." Damon reasoned. I was siding with him there.

"It's too dangerous." Stefan countered.

"I'm taking her to the yard not Atlantic City." Damon responded.

We all headed outside and I had to admit that it was a nice night.

"I can't believe that you talked me into this." Stefan declared.

"She's a vampire, Stefan." Damon argued. "She needs to know the perks."

"What are the perks?" Vicki asked. I had a feeling that was going to backfire.

Damon started to run around and suggested that he should try it…which she did to the point where she ran away.

"Oops." Damon replied. I went over and smacked him on the head.

"I'm going to go look for her. I bet she went home." Stefan said. "Let me know if she comes back here."

She was not going to come back here.

He came back a few minutes later by himself. Well that went about as well as I had expected it to. She knew that she could hide inside of her house and Stefan wouldn't be able to do anything.

"Where is she?" Rachel asked.

"She's at home. Matt wouldn't let me in." He said. "I don't know what to do. I want to help her but I can't do that if she's hiding at home."

"Why didn't you just compel him?" I asked.

"Hey, I have an idea." Rachel piped in. "There's a Halloween party at the school tonight. There's no way that someone like her will be able to resist going. We can find her and we can grab her."

That seemed like a good idea. You know in all of this, I had forgotten it was Halloween. Rachel and I loved dressing up for Halloween. We had done it every year. I hoped that she had gotten me a costume because I kind of forgot about it. She then grabbed onto me.

"Now if you excuse us, Brandy and I need to go upstairs and change into our costumes." She said before she took me to our room. I supposed that she had got me something. "Put this on."

I out on the costume which was kind of right and I had one thought immediately come to my mind upon putting it on and looking in the mirror.

"You know this costume is probably better suited for you since you have bigger boobs." I remarked.

"But I don't have the right hair color." She pointed out. "Besides, you're sexier than the real Elvira."

"We both know that isn't true." I replied as she started to style my hair. We wouldn't have a lot of time to get it right.

"Well these costumes fit our personalities better." She proposed as she put hers on. It came with a pair of shiny boots. "You're the goth girl that everyone loves and I'm the pretty superhero that everyone also loves."

"I don't think this thing with Vicki is going to go well." I commented as I put on my heels. Hopefully they wouldn't be too hard to walk in.

"I know it's not going to go well." Rachel said. "Vicki isn't going to listen to anyone and she's probably going to get herself killed. So what do you know about the guy who shot you?"

"Only that he was a news reporter. Oh and I kind of told Kelsey." I explained.

"You told her?" She replied.

"I kind of had to. She saw me get shot and I didn't want to compel her." I stated. "She took it really well."

"It's too bad you're already spoken for." She joked.

"I didn't tell you about that so you could tease me about it." I pointed out. "We should get going. We don't want to keep Stefan waiting."

We then headed to the school. Stefan did not wear a costume which was kind of lame if you asked me. I knew that he was basically serious all of the time and we were only going to get Vicki but did he not like to have fun? He seemed like a stick in the mud.

"Where did Damon go?" I asked.

"I don't know but I doubt he went looking for her." Stefan replied. "Hopefully he's not out there killing someone."

I wanted to believe that Damon had learned his lesson. It seemed like someone knew about us so he wouldn't want to draw any more attention to us. Maybe when we have Vicki safely secured, I can talk to Elena and we can find out where we want to go in our relationship. I wasn't even sure what I wanted to do or if last night would be a one-off thing.

Once we got to the school, Stefan had the idea for us to split up. I shouldn't have been surprised who the first person that I saw was.

"Man, it seems like everyone is dressed a witch tonight." She said.

"I'm not a witch. I'm Elvira, Mistress of the Dark." I told her. "You're not dressed a witch either. Are you dressed as someone in particular."

"I'm Lucy Westenra from Dracula." She explained.

"Brandy, can you stop flirting. We need to find Vicki now." Rachel interrupted.

"Have you seen Vicki Donovan by any chance?" I asked Kelsey with a blush.

"She was here somewhere.. Wait. She shouldn't be here, should she?" Kelsey asked. I shook my head. "I can help you look for her."

"I think it would a lot safer if you didn't." I told her.

The two of us then went inside, where we found Stefan had found Vicki, and also Elena had found him…and so had Matt. They were both dressed as nurses, or maybe Matt was a doctor and Vicki was the most stereotypical vampire I had ever seen.

"Thank God." I replied.

"What's going on?" Matt asked. I knew I should probably compel him now. However, before I got a chance, Vicki made her move.

"I told you to quit bothering me." She said as she broke free of Stefan's grasp. She really didn't seem as dumb as you would think she was. "Matty, he won't leave me alone."

"Vicki, don't." Elena warned her.

"You need to back off." Matt told Stefan. At that point, I realized that Vicki had run off.

"Guys, Vicki ran away." I pointed out.

I knew that I needed to try to find her. I had to get to her quick because I had a feeling that she would hurt someone.

The thing was I did not know my way around the school, especially in the dark and the flashing lights were not helping. I noticed that there was an open door and I heard some screaming. I ran out and saw that Vicki was attacking Jeremy and Elena and she looked quite feral. I went over to grab her. This was going to be difficult. She may have been stronger than me in her current state. Age was one determining factor of a vampire's strength, but it wasn't the only one. Diet and temperament also factored in. It wasn't long before she managed to break free of my grasp and she ran off. I had a bad feeling. I didn't think she would just run away.

"We need to get inside." I instructed. Elena started to run for the door, but Vicki came and bit into her neck.

I knew that I only had about a second before Vicki was able to kill her. There was only one thing that I could do. I grabbed a broken 2x4 and stabbed Vicki through the heart with it. She detached herself from Elena and looked at me before she started to turn grey.

"VICKI!" Jeremy screamed as she fell over. "No, no, no, you can't be dead."

That had to be the most heartbreaking thing that I had ever seen. Jeremy had just watched the girl that he loved die. I didn't know what to do. I didn't know what to say.

"Get him out of here." Elena ordered. Well now I knew what to do at least.

I felt horrible. I had taken her from him. I knew that I didn't have a lot of time to make a choice but I still felt bad. I could have tried to stop her even though I wasn't sure if I would have been able to. I could have broken her neck, but I supposed it didn't matter what I could have done. All that mattered was what I had done and that was kill Vicki. Rachel was right. She had gotten herself killed. I just did not think that I would be the one to do it.

I walked home with Jeremy. The two of us didn't say anything to each other on the way. I couldn't say anything to him. I couldn't even say that I was sorry, because I wasn't. I just took him home and up to his room. He looked absolutely crushed. I didn't know if it would be a good idea to leave him alone because I didn't know what he would do.

I kept a close eye on him until Elena got home. I had an idea, but I was not going to do anything without running it by her first.

"How is he?" She questioned.

"He's not good." I answered. "Elena, I'm sorry. I had to do it."

"I don't blame you. You didn't have a lot of time to make a decision, but this is going to crush him. I don't know what to do. I don't even know if I should leave him alone." She said.

"I have an idea." I replied. "There are two things we could do. We could try to help him through this or we could go a different route. It's more of a temporary solution, but I can erase his memory. I can make him think that Vicki told him that she was leaving town and that he should move on."

"Do that." She instructed. "It's the safer thing to do. He shouldn't know about this and not like this."

I nodded and went upstairs to his room. There was also something else that I felt like I should do too. I compelled his to think exactly what I told him to do and also to try to do better in school and stop using drugs. I knew that I hadn't mentioned it to her but I didn't think she would have a problem with me doing either of those things.

Once I was done, I went outside and took a seat next to her. She went and put her head on my shoulder and I leaned into her. I knew that she was kind of still bleeding, but I needed to be there to comfort her.

"You know part of me wishes that I could forget too." She said.

"You can." I pointed out. "I can make it happen."

I didn't want to do it, but if that was what she wanted, I would do it for her. I would even leave her alone because I wanted her to be happy more than my own happiness.

"I don't;. I want to know this, but can you promise me no more secrets?" She requested as she got up.

"I promise." I told her.

So there's still a question mark in regards to Elena and Brandy, especially since Stefan is still very much in the picture, not to mention there's always Damon. Please don't forget to review.
