When it came to a Holy Grail War, it was all but admitted that the rules installed in place were more akin to guidelines, if anything. With Masters and Servants in previous wars only following them somewhat, to bending them on their whim.
As it can be attested by Risei Kotomine, who was overseer in the last Holy Grail War, many Masters and Servants in the third Holy Grail War abused such a fact willingly. Back then, very little of the Masters and Servants followed the rules. Resorting to cheating, bribery, abuse of magecraft. The third war was such a mess that it was a miracle itself nothing had been revealed to the public at large.
Frankly, the only real rule anybody bothered to follow was the concealment of magecraft and little else. After all, nobody wanted to let that cat out of the bag to the public at large. Including the Servants. Meaning many Masters at the very least put up bounded fields or silenced witnesses, be it through subtle memory erasure of killing them.
Still, that didn't mean it was easy whenever Masters and Servants fought in places that were well known and public. Yes, bounded fields were put in place beforehand, ensuring prying eyes didn't spot what they shouldn't see. Life shows however even mistakes can be made.
Meaning after a fight the church was left with dealing with the aftermath. Where, depending on the damage, usually extensive in all honesty, cover-ups and lies had to be made to ensure secrecy. The construction site that happened just a bit ago? A group of teenagers who were messing with explosives and were all brought in is the story.
Not exactly difficult, but made a bit complicated when some people died due to the Servant attacking in an area which had been publicly known to have workers. Still, there were no eye-witnesses, meaning everything was considered fine by the rules of concealment.
"DraaAaAgooN!" Shame that the next assault was in a public park that, while near empty, still had a few late-night walkers out and about. An act that would condemn the Master and could bring repercussions to them.
Berserker didn't care.
"Master!" Saber shouted in fear for his Master's safety. One second things had been just fine. The next second the same woman he met earlier at the construction site had come and had lifted her weapon now brutally set on slicing his Master in two.
His hand already reached for his sword, but Saber knew that he would be too late.
Archer wasn't.
A pulse of light escaped her body, blinding him and Berserker at the same time. Saber turning away and wincing at the unexpected assault on his retinas. Though that became a lesser manner when Saber felt his body lock at the sudden rise of mana escaping Archer. The light soon began to fade with Saber allowed to see just what was going on.
"Do not worry." What he witnessed was Archer herself glowing, as if she were a holy figure. She spoke without fear, hands rested on Waver's shoulders, as if to comfort him. "Any attack made on me, shall not harm you. Just this once anyway."
With those words said, it was then a small sea of energy escaped her and began taking form. Becoming more physical as it began taking shape.
Waver was shaking. Not out of fear, however. But out of shock at what he was seeing alongside Saber. Accompanied by the pressure the two instantly felt as the energy slowly gained a physical form. One where a shadow loomed over all three followed by the sounds of a hiss.
In a melancholy tone, Archer added, "Because she is here."
"RUAGHHH!" A grand roar then shook the earth itself, as the light finally reformed into something grand. Sparkling under the stars, whatever had been unleashed had at last taken physical form. Starting with clawed feet digging into the ground, Berserker, raising her guard immediately on sight.
"By Freed's beard!" Saber's eyes lit up in astonishment. Nearly dropping his sword at the breathtaking sight he witnessed
Wondrous white scales that sparkled underneath the moonlight. Massive wings that unfolded itself as if to show dominance, connected to its large frame. Claws that were sharper than any known steel to be seen, a maw full of clean razor sharp teeth. With the final kicker being those large blue eyes it had, that appeared as if they could see through oneself.
A beast of beauty and danger.
Both Saber Waver knew this just by looking at it. Not just due to the fact that the mana emitted from this creature practically bore down on them. But for the fact that the beast took the form of one of the most famed mythical creatures well-known across the entire planet.
"N-No way." Waver muttered, body shaking. "A-a-a-"
"Dragon." Saber finished. It was as incredible as it was dangerous. Naturally, of course, Saber couldn't help but place a hand on his sword's hilt, just in case. Yet the swordsman himself couldn't deny the reverence he felt at seeing such a creature before him. As if it were some kind of divine entity.
"Puh!" Another would say otherwise. For instead of awe like the three across from her, only disgust and hatred filled Berserker's eyes as she scowled at the beautiful dragon. A grimace formed like she was looking at a hideous insect rather than the dragon itself, with equal revulsion aimed at Archer.
"Grrrr." Though Berserker was far from the only one who felt such abhorrence towards another. Eyes of blue leered down at the one who threatened its human-half. At the one who dared to try and harm her. Revealing its teeth and claws, the white dragon slowly stood up as if to show just how dangerous it was. One which didn't fail, as Waver and Saber gawked at the dragon's size which matched a building.
"Oh man." Shaking, Waver looked around and could immediately tell that anybody could just see the building-size dragon out here in the open if they wanted. "W-We need to get out of here!"
"I'm not sure we can." Saber then flinched. "Including her." Twisting his neck to see who Saber was staring at, Waver felt himself growing cold when he saw Berserker's face.
A snarl formed on her lips, her brows knitting down. With magical energy swirling around her, then escaping her armor and sword. Little wisps of energy that were a nasty shade of purple, moving as if it were screaming. A curse. One strong enough that it could be seen physically.
"Gruagh." With the dragon noticing this as well.
"My." Archer lifted her hands over her mouth. Eyes widened at the wisps of energy escaping Berserker. Appearing mournful just at the sight of it. "My word…How many dragons did you kill?"
"Kill?!" Did she just- did that mean- ?
"Haaah." Leaning down with a bend of her knees, Berserker adjusted her stance and held her sword across her chest. Taking a deep breath as she shut her eyes closed.. Those next few moments, as she stood there, Berserker actually looked calm. Peaceful one might say. As if she were just an ordinary girl that couldn't harm a fly.
"Perish." Snapping open wide, her eyes glowed a deep red when she spoke such a simple cursed word. The unnatural 'veins' on her sword glowing the same red and pulsed as if they were alive.
The dragon moved first.
"Gruagh!" It was already on top of Berserker in an instant. It's right claw being brought down like a meteor. Intending to crush the Servant without a moment's notice. Smashing against the ground and breaking it apart with sheer brute strength.
"Blue-Eyes!" It then heard its other half call out to it, knowing why.
Right at its left flank, having moved faster than expected, Berserker slashed at Blue-Eyes' left ankle. Its white scales, which could take on magical attacks and weapons as if they were a fortress, were sliced open like a fruit. Sword glowing purple as it cut through the normally impenetrable scales. Red liquid bursting from the cut with Blue-Eyes hissing at the cut.
Shifting its weight on the right leg to relieve some pressure, Blue-Eyes then noticed Berserker ran to its right ankle to cripple it as she did the left. With a growl, Blue Eyes flapped its wings and lifted itself into the air, causing Berserker to miss her mark. Then it stopped flying and dropped, where it then landed just a few feet behind her. The ground cracking under its weight before its tail then lifted itself high in the air.
It then fell like a whip and slapped itself against Berserker's waist, sending her smashing into the trees. Bark and branches snapping from her momentum while Blue Eyes hissed as it went after her with a roar.
Screams were heard as one or two people then ran off when they saw a giant dragon break through the trees to capture its prey. Waver pales as white as a ghost when he notices them run off. It didn't help that the dragon let loose another roar while smashing the ground under its feet.
"Shit, shit, shit!" Such a situation made the young magus suddenly realize he shouldn't just stand and watch. Pointing a finger at the two, Waver cried out, "Saber! Get them!"
"Huh?"
"I said get them!" He needed to wipe their memories. It'll be a rush job, but he had no choice. Even though he wasn't the cause of this mess, it wouldn't surprise Waver if he was turned into a scapegoat just for being nearby. At the very least he could try and limit the number of witnesses.
Saber appeared confused, still, he nodded and obeyed Waver and rushed to get the humans who ran with Waver running behind. All while the boy wondered what idiots were even allowing their Servants to fight like this?
Nearly falling onto the ground, knees buckling, Tokiomi let out a gasp while clutching his chest. Eyes bulging like fish at the drain of mana rushing out of him. Feeling as if he could collapse any second, panting no different from a marathon runner.
"A-Archer?" He knew it was her. It had to be her. Nothing else could cause his mana to deplete like this. Unfortunately, Archer wasn't exactly here to question with Tokiomi feeling too dizzy to even communicate properly through their mental link. Thankfully, as a proper magus, he had a back-up plan.
Focusing himself as best he could, leaning on a wall for support, Tokiomi connected to a familiar he owned that he had secretly sent to observe Archer when she went out. It wasn't easy, as she had stayed in spiritual form to avoid notice. Though the times she did come out physically made it easy for the familiar to hone in on her.
Connecting his vision to the familiars' sight, Tokiomi went to see just what Archer was doing.
"Ruagh!" Tearing at the ground, a white dragon sent piles of dirt and grass at a woman, as if to obscure her movements. It then lifted its long neck and snapped forward with its mouth wide open.
Rolling to the left, the woman in dragon-like armor dodged the strike and was now right next to its head. Clenching her fist, she then smashed it against the side of the dragon's head. Disorienting it as the dragon hissed at the blunt strike as it clearly felt what should have been a pointless attack.
The woman then took out a sword and prepared to carve her prey, only for the dragon to regain its senses and dodged her slash by twisting its neck away, then headbutting her with the top of its head. She flew off like a cannonball where it then went on to chase after her while howling in the open.
"Ugh!" Spittle nearly left Tokiomi's mouth as he felt his mana being sapped away further, exhaustion getting to him. Now he understood what was going on. Somehow, in some way, the dragon was linked to Tokiomi's own mana. 'But how?' Tokiomi thought. 'And why didn't Archer tell me about this?'
Bad enough his own Servant refused to properly listen to him. Now she goes behind his back and picks a fight with another Servant, taxing him on his own mana to call upon one of the mightiest phantasmals without consulting him. Even worse, she was fighting in the open. It may be night time at the moment with few people, but it didn't matter. Even if it wasn't his intent or fault, none of these excuses will help his case if the Clocktower discovered this. Even Risei may not be able to help him were the Church to find out.
With all he could do was watch.
Berserker jumped up and brought her sword down on the dragon's incoming claw. Calculating in her mind to attempt another way to bring it down by crippling its natural weapons, such as its claws. Once the claw got closer, Berserker stepped forward and made a nasty gash just below the wrist, causing the dragon to hiss in pain. Blood leaked out from the wound while it seemed to be unable to move its claws.
The curse worked wonders while she was certain she slashed a tendon or two. She knew it wouldn't last long though. Out of the many dragons she killed, Berserker could tell this dragon was in a league of its own. A higher-ranked dragon that could match her.
It refused to wield to her, instead of accepting defeat, like all prideful dragons it kept on attacking. It lifted its foot and brought it down to step on Berserker. She avoided it and then sliced at its toes, her sword glowing just before cutting through the scales.
In clear anger, the dragon screeched and leaned down to anchor itself into the ground. Claws digging into the earth while its wings twisted and turned themselves to be aimed directly at Berserker. Berserker realized what the dragon was doing and immediately took action.
Her sword was lifted and she drove it into the ground.
"Ruagh!" With a screech, the dragon then flapped its wings forward while its anchored body lurched backwards from the recoil of its wing beat. The wind had become a weapon, like a hurricane Berserker felt herself being dragged backward, even with her sword anchoring her in the ground.
Visibly, she was struggling as she tried to prevent herself from skidding back. Glaring as that occurred, as the hate in her grew. Becoming more determined to put an end to the dragon, no matter the cost.
"B-Berserker! Stop!" And her Master Kariya was no exception to said cost. The man practically frothing from physical agony as he felt the worms chewing him up inside his own body. Their teeth dug into him as Kariya laid on the ground, twisting and turning at their masticating of his flesh.
'What is she doing?!' All Kariya commanded for her was to observe the kid, not fight!
Granted, through his shared vision with her, he noticed how she only attacked when she saw some strange woman. While it was likely they were a Servant, Kariya wouldn't realize this since the second she attacked, the worms in him reacted and thoroughly ensured he couldn't hold a proper coherent thought in his mind. All he could think of how he wanted the pain to end.
To stop being a prisoner in his own body, forced to only watch her through their connection. Unable to properly speak with her from the anguish his mind was in. Though in the few attempts he managed to make proper contact, she ignored him entirely. Only getting an unnatural enmity from her mind, focused entirely on the dragon itself. Nothing else.
Which meant Kariya could only roll on the ground and twitch occasionally as his mana was being sucked right out of him.
Zouken was a bastard, but he was right about one thing. In order for Kariya to fight, he needed a Berserker to fight evenly with the other Servants. His own reserves of mana were just too weak for a normal one. At the start, so far it seemed Berserker was alright from what he could tell.
Obedient. Calm. She even had great stats. Proving it by the fact that she managed to face multiple Servants without much of a scratch and was facing a dragon at the moment and hurting it. It made him even wonder why Berserker's hand such a bad reputation.
"Huuuh-!" Now, as he spat out a glob of blood and a worm or two, he's currently experiencing the reasoning on why Berserker's had such a bad reputation. His body was already weak enough after his 'training', crippling him permanently. Plus he was already weary from the battle at the docks, which took a toll on his mana. That's why he only asked her to patrol and nothing else. Now she fought in spite of knowing his condition.
And with the way Berserker was fighting, even if she won, her battle with the dragon might just prove the death of him at the rate things were going.
Body spasming, Kariya painfully rolled himself on his stomach and slowly lifted his trembling hand. Command Seals as red as the blood he coughed up in sight as Kariya knew what he had to do if he desired to live past tomorrow. He couldn't die now. Not yet. So, he acted fast as blood started bursting from his skin.
Cuts sported the dragon. Its previously beautiful scales blemished with oozing red blood. It didn't submit to the enemy. The thought of surrendering, even just escaping never crossed its mind.
As if a few measly cuts would deter it from giving in. Even if the cuts had been poisoned by whatever curse the sword wielded. A revolting weapon if the dragon ever saw one, its mouth resembling a snarl.
Now, its prey was trapped. Its wings kept her from moving. At last it can wipe her and that reprehensible weapon for good.
With a prideful roar, the dragon opened its jaw where sparks escaped its throat. It would finish this in one simple burst of streaming destruction.
"N-No!" Servants were powerful beings, the apex of humanity. Individuals worthy of being placed in the Throne of Heroes. This delegated them to being considered the most powerful of all familiars in the magecraft world.
Such power didn't come without a cost though. For upon summoning a Servant into the mortal world, they needed an anchor and a steady supply of mana to support their existence. Where the more powerful a Servant was, the more mana they needed to exist, fight even.
Archer had been one thing, as she had done very little to even dent Tokiomi's reserves.
A dragon that was thrashing a park and about to release a fully-powered magical breath?
If he didn't die from being turned into a husk, his magic circuits would be utterly exhausted and potentially obtain permanent damage from the severe burden of being expended so suddenly.
That wasn't even mentioning the disastrous consequences that would come if the other magus found out. Chances were he'd face repercussions that wouldn't end well for him, all while he was powerless from the damage he'd have. He'd be defenseless against them.
'I've got no choice.' Which is why he needed to act. Tokiomi really didn't want to do this, wanting all three Command Seals if he could help it. For the final act when the Holy Grail War neared its end. If he was to survive, though, then Tokiomi had no choice but to swallow his pride and waste one of his seals.
With a raise of his hand, Command Seals glowing, Tokiomi focused his mind on what he had to do.
The park had seen much better days. In just the span of a few minutes, the park had been torn asunder with broken trees all over. With the two walking disasters that caused this not showing a single care of remorse for it. More focused on wiping the other out, with Blue-Eyes in particular about to vaporize Berserker and anything else behind her. Keeping her pinned with the updraft he created and focused its magical energy for one deadly blast.
For Berserker, she remained calm, almost emotionless in contrast to how she first began fighting. Acting more like a machine, even in the face of what could be certain death. A deadly miasma then escapes her armor with the veins on her sword becoming red. Acting almost protectively as it circled around her. The grass below her withering beneath her feet.
"Oh man, oh man, oh man!" All while Waver could do nothing but watch at what was probably going to be a fire breath or something come out and alert everyone. Didn't matter that he managed to hypnotize a few people if more people just came. It won't be long until the news chopper came with a crowd of police wanting to see what was making such a racket.
By his side, Saber felt no different. Knowing that soon, civilians and the like would come, with the only question being how much will they see here? Probably not much in all honesty. Because he saw sparks escaping the dragon's throat and some form of dark magic enwrapping the woman, realizing booths end goal. A powerful attack from both sides that would likely produce a shockwave that'd wipe anybody out in the local area. Usually expected when a dragon was involved.
"Master, perhaps it'd be best if we began running."
"I agree with your Servant."
"Woah!" Right by Saber and Waver's side, Archer stood right by them, not an ounce of worry seen in her eyes. She merely spoke to them as if everything was normal, as if nothing were wrong. She just acted solely to herself, focused entirely on the battle. She faced them and gave her own piece of advice.
"While I'm not sure about that woman, I can certainly say you two won't survive the shockwave from Blue-Eyes' White Lightning." She then eyed Waver for a brief second. Taking a glance at his build. "There likely won't be much of a body with you in particular."
Waver gulped.
"Gruagh!"
Then sweated when his body felt the magical energy coming from the two Servants start peaking and realized the dragon, Blue-Eyes as Archer called it, was now about to attack. With Waver and Saber still in the area with no protection whatsoever.
Saber stood in front of Waver immediately. Prepared to activate one of his Noble Phantasms, the one that would protect his Master, even if it cost him his life. "Noble Phantasm!" All he had to do was say the name. "My Bo-"
In that instant, both Archer and Berserker suddenly felt a pull on their Spirit Origins followed by a desperate voice in each of their heads. With both saying the exact same thing.
"By my Command Seals, stop and return to me!"
Blue-Eyes felt itself gag as its mouth suddenly snapped shut. Burning its throat from the compulsion to stop its attack. Berserker herself slacked as magical energy was cut off from her. The strange miasma around her dissipated as if she never called upon it. Both their eyes widening at the forceful command, believing that they themselves were undefended by the other.
Then, anti-climatically, Berserker, Archer, and by extension of the latter, Blue-Eyes, all vanished away in yellow motes of light. Teleported through the Command Seals like they were never even here. Leaving only a stunned Waver and Saber behind, the only two to have even noted their existence alongside the ravaged park around the two men.
Slowly, in silence, the two looked at one another then back at where the two enemy Servants had previously been at. Almost as if they weren't sure of what they're seeing was even true, as if expecting the two to return and resume their fight to the death. Instead, they stood around with no idea on what to do.
The sounds of a police siren caused them to snap out of their dazed silence, immediately running in the opposite direction of the sound. Not wanting to stick around for the following investigation or the aftermath of how the Church will even cover this up. All they wanted was to simply leave and let this night end.
Ah man. I was really hoping to have Berserker and Blue-Eyes fight more. But as you'd guess, Tokiomi and Kariya would never allow it. Never mind the fact the fight was happening in public, even if it was a near-empty park, but also because their mana was being drained dry. Especially Kariya.
But don't worry, the two will meet again. Anyway, for now, enjoy Berserker's stats.

Dragon Blood (Curse) (A): Years of killing dragons have bathed Berserker in their blood, giving her immense power and endurance. But through the dragon's grudges, the blood causes her to forget much of her past, warping her armor and personality, and funnels her fury against anything with dragon blood. Increasing Mad Enhancement.
Guts (D-EX): Berserker will never give in the face of a dragon. Even if she is trampled, crushed, or bitten, she will continue fighting to kill the dragons. All dragons. Even those who are connected and have their blood. No dragon shall be spared, nor those who affiliate with them. (Skill rank increases when facing a dragon.)
Dragon Slayer (A): A hunter of dragons, no matter their size, form, or power. Does additional damage to them or those who hold their power/blood.
Noble Phantasm(s):
Dragontaint (C): Due to possessing cursed blood, which afflicts her body, Berserker holds a plague of the skill's name that is very infectious, killing all unless they have dragon horns or something similar.
Through forcible change in her Saint Graph, the Noble Phantasm is sealed. In turn however, the taint grows more potent and can leak out. If somehow unsealed, the resulting growth will kill her while also releasing a massive miasma of Dragontaint in the air.
