Hello, Hello welcome yet to another chapter and you didn't have to wait a year for it. Alot of stuff happened that I will not be getting to, This chapter is getting up there. But with hard work, Lots of Procrastination and writers block and decieding to pull a all nighter to get this chapter done. Chapter 14: Into the Frying Pan
Naruto walked through the halls as he approached his destination Professor Ozpin's Office. As he stepped into the elevator and proceeds to hit the right button Naruto gains a hard look when the elevator comes to a stop. The Doors open and Naruto see both Professor Ozpin and General Ironwood waiting him.
"Ah, Naruto good see that you could meet with us on such short notice, how are classes going?" Ozpin asked as the blond approached the pair.
"Fine, why did you call me here?" Naruto asked wanting to get straight to the point.
"Straight to the point then." Ironwood said walking around the table. "Very well, this is about your Keyblade."
"My Keyblade? What about it?" Naruto asked narrowing his eyes in both curiosity and in distrust.
"We need to know more about it, kid." A voice called out causing Naruto to turn and see in surprise the 4th occupant of the room. "And we know where to go."
The Man walked forward with a cocky grin. He was a tall and well-built man with waist-length, spiky white hair that was tied back into a pony tail, with two shoulder-length bangs framing his face. There were red lines under his eyes as well as a small wart on the left side of his nose. His attire consisted of a green short shirt kimono and matching pants with a red haori with two yellow circles on each side over the shirt. Rounding off his out fit he had a black belt that covered the outer the part of his outfit with several pouches, black tall combat boots and grey gauntlets on his hands.
"Jiraya?" Naruto said with a surprise looking to the man.
"Hey Kid, been awhile, how ya been?" Jiraya asked placing his hand around the blond shoulders. "Have you been be with any of the cute girls, I've seen here."
"You dirty old pervert!" Naruto said knocking the man's hand away. "Jeeze, you never change Pervy Sage."
"Listen here you Brat, I am no pervert." Jiraya said with a smirk as he puffs his chest out. "I am a super pervert."
This caused everyone in the room to give the older man a mix of looks. For Glynda a look of disgust marred her face glaring at Jiraya, Naruto and Ironwood gave him a WTF kind of look. Ozpin just chuckle at the older man's antics.
"On the actual note, Naruto." Ironwood said gaining the blond's attention. "We found where we can find more information on your Keyblade."
"Where?" Naruto asked narrowing his eyes.
"Castle Oblivion..." Jiraya said causing Naruto to look at him with a confused expression on his face.
"Castle Oblivion?"
"It's an old Castle, that was once held by the Guardians of Heart." Jiraya answered as he leaned against the wall.
"Ok, so what does this have to do with my Keyblade?" Naruto ask looking to Jiraya.
"As we said, we know so little about you Keyblade, Naruto." Ozpin said narrowing his eyes. "We believe that the only way to remedy this, is to delve into the archives of the Castle."
"Of course that itself, will be difficult." Ironwood said with a sigh.
"Why is that exactly?" Naruto asked still confused.
Sudden a hologram of a Castle appears in the center of the room showing a Mountainous Desert region with a heavy sandstorm blowing through and at it center stood a Large Castle.
"This is Castle Oblivion." Ozpin said, gesturing towards the hologram. "It is a place that defies normal logic and reason. The castle itself can manipulate memories and even create illusions. It is a place where reality is not always what it seems."
"And the sandstorm surrounding it seems to be a barrier that prevents anyone from entering." Ironwood added.
"So, what you're saying is that this Castle is dangerous?" Naruto asked with a hint of concern.
"It is not without its dangers, Naruto." Ozpin said with a nod. "But we believe that the information we can gather from the archives of the Castle will be invaluable in helping us understand your Keyblade and its abilities."
Naruto took a deep breath and looked at the hologram of Castle Oblivion. He knew that this was going to be a difficult and potentially dangerous mission, but he also knew that he had to do it. His Keyblade was a part of him, and he needed to know everything about it.
"Alright, I'll do it." Naruto said with determination. "When do we leave?"
"After the upcoming Dance." Ironwood said, nodding his head. "We'll do it under the pretense you and your team are shadowing an older Huntsman."
"That's where I'll come in." Jiraya said smirking. "I'll accompany you and your team to Castle Oblivion as your guide."
Naruto nodded, grateful for Jiraya's offer.
"Thank you, Jiraya." Naruto said with a small smile.
"Hey, I'm your Godfather, it's my job isn't it?" Jiraya replied with a grin. "Besides, it's not every day I get to go on a dangerous adventure."
Naruto rolled his eyes at Jiraya's teasing, but he couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement.
"Alright then, we'll be ready after the Dance." Naruto said, looking to Ozpin and Ironwood.
"Very well, Naruto. We'll make the necessary arrangements." Ozpin said with a nod. "Just remember, be careful. Castle Oblivion is a place where reality is not always what it seems."
Naruto nodded, taking one last look at the hologram of the Castle before turning to leave.
"Penny, I-I don't understand..." Ruby asked still in shock at what happened.
"Most girls are born, but I was made. I'm the world's first synthetic person capable of generating an Aura." Penny says turning her head to the side sadly. "I'm not real..."
"Of course you are. You think just because you've got nuts and bolts instead of squishy guts makes you any less real than me?" Ruby said taking Penny's hands in her own.
"I don't... um..." Penny said as she leans in close to Ruby's face. "You're... taking this extraordinarily well."
"You're not like those things we saw back there." Ruby said taping Penny's chest. "You've got a heart, and a soul; I can feel it!"
"Ooohh... oh Ruby!" Penny cried out grabbing Ruby into a hug and shakes her back and forth. "You're the best friend anyone could have!"
"I can see why your father would want to protect such a delicate flower!" Ruby muffled out groaning.
"Oh, he's very sweet! My father's the one that built me! I'm sure you would love him!" Penny said releasing Ruby, fully back to her happy self.
"Wow." Ruby said giggling. "He built you all by himself?"
"Well, almost! He had some help from Mr. Ironwood." Penny said placing her hands behind her back.
"The General?! Wait isn't that Nathan's Dad? Is that why those soldiers were after you?" Ruby asked in a blur.
"Yes, Lieutenant Ironwood is my assigned Leader, he is very nice and protects me." Penny answered. "The Soldiers like to protect me, too!
"They don't think you can protect yourself?" Ruby ask scoffing.
"They're not sure if I'm ready yet... One day, it will be my job to save the world, but I still have a lot left to learn." Penny said placing a hand on her heart. "That's why my father let me come to the Vytal Festival. I want to see what it's like in the rest of the world, and test myself in the Tournament."
"Penny, what are you talking about? Save the world from what? We're in a time of peace!" Ruby said confused, at Penny was saying.
"That's not what Mr. Ironwood said..." Penny responded, also looking very confused.
"Check down here!"
"You have to hide!" Penny cried out, grabbing Ruby by the shoulders and lifts Ruby above her head effortlessly.
"Penny, wait! What are you doing? You don't have to go with them! I can help you!" Ruby screamed out as she struggling to get free while being carried toward a dumpster.
"It's okay, Ruby. They're not bad people; I just don't want to get you in trouble. Just promise me you won't tell anyone else my secret. Okay?" Penny said as she throws Ruby in the trash and lifts the lid so she can still talk and gravely stares at Ruby.
"I promise." Ruby said as lowers her head into the garbage as the lid is put down, but she lifts it a little to peek at the scene outside.
"There she is!"
"Sal-u-tations, officers!" Penny says with a small Salute as 2 Soldiers approach her.
"Why were you running? And what happened to the other girl?" The 1st Soldier asks as he looks around.
"What girl? I've been by myself all day!" Penny said hiccupping loudly, then smiles.
"You shouldn't cause such a scene." The Soldier says again in a stern tone.
"Are you okay?" The second Soldier asked with a hint of concern.
"Just a scratch." Penny answered showing off her "injured" palms.
"Penny, your father isn't going to be happy about this." The 1st Soldier continuing to scolding her.
"Please, just come with us."
"Yes, sir!"
Penny and the soldiers began walking away as Ruby looks on in sadness... until a rat screeches from below her feet, causing the young Huntress to fall and close the lid on herself.
In the ruined parts of Vale, the sound of 2 engines gets closer and closer until Bumblebee and another bike pulls into the street and comes to a stop.
"Come on, my friend's right in here!" Yang said taking off the helmet, she gestures with her thumb to the music playing nearby.
Yang then gets off the bike followed by Nathan who gets off a bike that is three-wheeled motorcycle with two wheels paired up in front and one in the rear with a combination of polished black metal over brushed gold mechanics.
"Cool..." Nathan said taking his helmet off then turns to Neptune still sitting on Yang's bike, hair and goggles messed up with a petrified expression of terror on his face. "You okay Blueberry?"
Neptune looks at Nathan for a sec, then shakes his head, somehow perfectly fixing his appearance, and gets off the cycle, looking around worriedly. "Yeah I'm Fine. So where exactly is... here?"
Inside the club a man with gray eyes, short black hair, along with a matching beard and mustache wearing a black vest over a white dress shirt, a red tie, black gloves and black dress pants stands behind the bar adjusting his cuffs as his Henchmen stock the bottles, carry boxes, and otherwise stand around on the dance floor, until a loud bang comes in.
"Hurry, close the door - she's coming!" A man shouts running inside as He and another proceed to roll the doors shut and keep them closed with their bodies.
"What are you two idiots doing?!" The Man said walking from behind the Bar as the Henchmen shout incoherently until an explosion knocks them to the ground and forces the doors open, allowing a familiar face to walk in through the smoke.
"Guess who's back!" Yang said with a smile and then proceeded to pose as eight guns are pointed in her face with an equal number of angry Henchmen behind them. Though this doesn't faze her, she stops and glares at the recording studio where the track is messing up until the frightened bear-headed DJ takes the needle off the record and retreats back under the table.
"Yeah, so could you define "friend" for me?" Nathan said appearing behind Yang with Neptune in tow as the Henchmen continue hoisting their guns at the trio. "Cause this seems like they don't want us here."
"Don't you worry, Soldier Boy." Yang said keeping her smile. "I got this!"
"Stop, stop! Nobody shoot." The man says cutting his way through the crowd of goons, straightening his tie. "Blondie, you're here! ...Why?"
"You still owe me a drink." Yang says as she grabs the man by the arm and drags him to the bar through the hired guns.
"Whoa-ho-ho-ho, what a woman..." Neptune says in a daze watching the blond walk away Nathan shook his head in annoyance as he follows behind breaking Neptune from his lovestruck staring to see a pair of twins standing beside him. "'Sup?"
"Whatever." The Twins said together with a harrumph as they walk away, noses in the air.
Meanwhile, Blake's fingers trace three scratch marks on a wall before peeking around its corner and seeing a pair of horned Faunus as they are ushered into a building by a bearded man. She turns to Sun next to her.
"This is it." Blake says to the blond Faunus.
"You sure?" Sun asked as Blake glares at him and starts moving towards the entrance while unfastening her bow. "Y'know, I'm just gonna take your word for it."
The two walk inside the building to a hallway filled with cases, seeing another man announcing "New recruits, keep to the right!" at the young pair as they follow.
"I don't get it." Sun said as he holds out the half-mask in his hand. "If you believe what you're doing is right, why hide who you are?"
"The masks are a symbol. Humanity wanted to make monsters out of us, so we chose to don the faces of monsters." Blake said somemly thinking about her brother as the 2 continue to walk.
"Grimm masks... That's kind of dark." Sun said stopping for a sec.
"So was the guy who started it." Blake said as she puts her mask on and walks on.
"Always sunshine and rainbows with you..." Sun said following her lead. "So I have to ask, do you think your brother is gonna make a surprise appearance."
"Menma?" Blake narrowing her eyes. "I highly doubt it. He's considered dead by the many of the Faunus, a fallen hero gone to soon."
"I guess you have a point." Sun said looking to Blake. "But if he is with that organization after Naruto, wouldn't the White Fang know that he is alive?"
Blake's expression turned pensive. "It's possible. But I believe only a few members know of Him. Especially since he is involved with whatever is going on."
The new recruits to the White Fang move in a line to the side of the stage, a mere few dozen compared to the hundreds of white-vested, black-hooded soldiers to their left and up above in the balconies. Blake and Sun look around themselves when they stop, and a fully-masked man with tattoos standing starts speaking before the large sheet emblazoned with the bloody wolf and claw marks.
"Thank you all for coming. For those of you who are joining us for the first time tonight, allow me to introduce a very special comrades of ours! I can assure you, they are the key to obtaining what we have fought for for so long!" A White Fang Lieutenant said as Roman walked in with Axel and Saix behind, smiling confidently even as the crowd starts protesting.
"Thank you, thank you!" Roman said waving mockingly as he speaks, a woman walks out from behind the sheet she had half pink and half brown colored hair, with white streaks on the pink side, wearing a white cropped wide, broad tailed jacket with a pink interior, collar, a single pink button and large pink cuffs. Also brown pants with a dark belt that has a gray buckle and an additional narrow belt under it. Under her jacket is a brown overbust corset, curved in the middle and at the bottom, exposing her hips. She also wears a multitude of black beaded necklaces, which hang haphazardly around her neck. Neo also wears black and white spat styled under the knee boots alongside black gloves. "Please, hold your applause!"
"Can you believe this guy?" Axel said with a sigh looking to Saix.
Saix remained stoic, his blue eyes scanning the area as he took note of their surroundings. "He is quite theatrical," he replied in a monotone voice. "But we must remain focused on our objective."
Axel rolled his eyes. "Yeah, yeah, I know. But can't we have a little fun while we're at it?"
Saix turned to look at him, his expression serious. "We are not here to have fun, Axel. We are here to protect Roman, in the interest of our mission."
Axel sighed, realizing that his companion was right. "Yeah, you're right."
As the crowd continued to jeer on as a Antler Faunus points at Roman from her place right in front of Blake and Sun. "What are humans doing here?!"
"I'm glad you asked, "Deerie"! Now, I'll be the first to admit, humans... are the worst." Roman said saluting to himself as an example. "Case in point. So, I understand why you would like to see us all locked away, or, better yet, killed!"
Sun leans over to Blake. "So, is he going somewhere with this?"
"But, before the claws come out, I'd like to mention the fact that you and I all have a common enemy: the ones in control, the people pulling the strings, the dirty, rotten humans that run our kingdoms!" Roman said as the crowd changes their tune and starts agreeing with him. "Government, military, even the schools: they're all to blame for your lot in life!" Roman continued letting the crowd cheer as the two heroes share a look. "And they're all pests that need to be dealt with! Fortunately, I'm the best exterminator around... No offense to any rodents in the room."
Roman then snaps his fingers, causing the curtain falls, and the whole mass of Faunus applaud at the sight of the Atlesian Paladin-290 behind it, the mark of the White Fang painted on its shoulder.
"Whoa, that's a big robot..." Sun said in shock.
"How did he get that?" Blake asked just as surprised.
"As some of you may have heard, this right here..." Roman continues his speech as he taps the giant mech "...is Atlas' newest defense against all the scary things in the world. And thanks to my "employer", we've managed to snag a few before they, uh, "hit the shelves". Now, many of your brothers have already moved down to our new operation in the southeast. If you'd rather stay within the city, that's fine... But if you're truly ready to fight for what you believe in, this is the arsenal I can provide you. Any questions?" The White Fang's roaring applause telling him the answer.
"We should get out of here." Blake said to Sun.
"Will all new recruits, please come forward!" The White Fang Lieutenant said as the line surges forward forcing two to follow
"Well, Shit!" Sun simply said.
Back at the Club, the man puts down his glass as he sits behind the bar separating him from his interrogators.
"I don't know!" The Man said looking to Yang and Nathan.
"How can you not know?" Yang said narrowing her eye's.
"I haven't talked to him! Hell I haven't even seen him since the night you first came in here." The man said as he leans over to point in Yang's face. "He paid up front, I lent him my men, and none of them ever. Came. Back."
Neptune then rushed over to Yang's side to raise a question of his own. "So where did they go?"
"What kind of stupid question is that? They never came back!" The man said after a long pause then looks to Yang. "Who is this guy?"
"Don't worry about him; worry about me and her." Nathan said gaining the man's attention as Yang pushes Neptune out of the way with one hand. Neptune then straightens and stands to attention. "If I don't find out what we want to know! Well then I won't be held responsible, for what happens to you."
'So hot!' Yang thought to herself before catching herself. "So Junior, what will it be."
"Look, I already told you everything! Torchwick hired my boys, and I guess he wasn't happy with them, which is something I can relate to!" Junior said as he shouts this at his own men, who grumble and walk away in response.
"Come on, let's go." Yang said as she turns from the bar and walks away.
Neptune then began following with his hands in his pockets. "We get everything we need?"
"No, We didn't." Nathan said he walks ahead of the pair.
"Well, we got everything we can. Hopefully the rest of the team is having better luck." Yang said gaining the two boys attention.
"Let's hope so," Neptune said as he falls in step with Yang. "But what do we do now?"
"We regroup with the rest of the team and figure out our next move," Nathan said getting on his bike.
The White Fang is still cheering loudly as the recruits are marched to the stage, with Blake and Sun having no choice but to follow along.
"What are we going to do?!" Sun whispered to Blake.
"I'm thinking..." Blake answered trying to find a way out of this.
Sun watches Roman lean on the robot smoking his cigar and laughing with the girl beside him before he zeroes in on the two, frowning. "He sees us..." Sun said as he tries to smile and wave.
"What is it Roman." Saix said looking to where the criminal was looking.
"Just some Pests, I'll deal with them." Roman said putting out his cigar.
Blake turns her head noticing the junction box on the wall." He can't see in the dark.
Blake then unsheathes Gambol Shroud, transforms it into a pistol, and shoots at the box, making the lights go out for the whole building and turning the screen dark.
"Don't let them get away!" Roman yells out as the 2 rush to get away.
"Sun! The window!" Blake said looking to a window as the two continue to run.
"Stop them!" Roman yells as the members of the White Fang try to stop the two.
The two student Huntsmen crash through the window and start running as fast as they can, they then hear the mechanized sound of running power signals as the Atlesian Paladin crashes through the wall of the building in pursuit of the runaways, who leap off of a car and manage to get on the roofs. The Paladin follows beside them on the street as Blake and Sun run, jump, and flip from rooftop to rooftop.
"So you wouldn't happen to have... oh, I don't know... some form of backup?!" Sun said between jumps.
"On it!" Blake says as she grabs her Scroll and puts it to her ear and continues to jump.
As Weiss leaves Cross Continental Transmit tower's elevator continuing to think about what had happen she hears a beep on her scroll causing her to grab it and listen to Blake's message.
"Everyone! If you can hear me, we need back-" Blake began on the call before she was cut off by Sun
"HEEEELLLLP!"
Weiss rolls her eyes and starts running out the door, a little smile on her face as she does so.
"Big robot! And it's big! Really big!" Sun yells out in a panic.
"Oh, I am not missing this!" Ruby says excitedly as she runs off to join the fight.
Yang is back on the motorcycle in her helmet and sunglasses with Neptune looking at the Scroll in her hand over her shoulder with Nathan Riding beside her listening in.
"That Torchwick guy is in it! But not, like, it didn't eat him; he's, like, controlling it or something!" Sun continues to yell out.
"Where are you guys?" Yang asked then right on cue, behind them, Blake and Sun can be seen running through the street with the Paladin hot on their heels before they all disappear from view.
"HURRYYYY!" Sun Cries out in fear.
"I think that was them." Neptune said causing Nathan to give him a look.
"No, I think that was someone else." Nathan said sarcastically then looks to Yang. "Let's Go, we need to back them up."
"Yeah, I got it." Yang said putting the Scroll away, they quickly circles their rides around - much to Neptune's alarm - and drives off to follow them.
Blake and Sun somehow make it to the highways, jumping down into the busy street and continuing their escape by hopping on cars while the Paladin follows them by pushing vehicles out of the way. Sun pauses to look at their pursuer's path of destruction and offer a quick "Whoa!" before leaping onto more cars, much to the anger of Roman inside the robot, his face surrounded by blue holographic screens.
Yang, Nathan and Neptune follow the mech suit on their rides, coming up next to it as it runs.
"We've gotta slow it down!" Yang say to the two.
"Got it!" Neptune said reaches for his gun, but Roman notices the pair on his sensors and crashes into a multitude of cars with the Paladin's strong bulk, sending them flying towards his chasers.
"Hold on!" Yang calls out to Neptune.
"Wuh-oh..."
Yang then swerves, leaning her bike to the side in avoidance of flying debris while Neptune flails in a panic. Back on two wheels again, Neptune unslings his weapon, aims as sparks start flying, and fires several bolts of blue electricity at the Paladin, causing Roman to grimace from the force of the attacks. Switching strategies, Neptune flips the gun and it grows a shaft and an energy blade at the end, then jumps from Yang's bike as the spear's head splits in three and drives it into the top of the Paladin. Sun and Blake pause in their car-hopping to look back.
"Neptune, hang on!" Sun called back
Neptune is trying his best, but the mech keeps bucking and threatens to make him fall. Closing his eyes, Sun smashes his palms together, and from the golden Aura around him, his Semblance creates two glowing outlines that copy their creator, leaping off and going back over the tops of vehicles to collide into the Paladin's front. They explode into blinding light upon contact to let Sun leap forward with Ruyi Bang and Jingu Bang held high, but Roman finally turns enough to send Neptune flying off and knocking into his friend, sending both of them off the highway.
As Blake looks on from her spot, she hears a voice from her Scroll. "Blake! I'm in position!"
Blake looks up to see Weiss twirling over the highway and landing in the middle of the road, holding Myrtenaster at the approaching Roman. He smiles as his robot charges the girl, but Weiss spins and plunges her blade into the ground, summoning a circle of ice across the pavement that causes the Paladin to slip and crash, actually flying over the young Huntress and falling off the ramp, landing further down before Ruby, already having her Crescent Rose out in scythe form.
The Paladin stands back up, and the rest of Team RWBY falls beside their leader to take up positions. Roman chuckles, moving the robot slowly towards the girls when suddenly Axel and Saix appear in front of him.
"Sorry, but we can't allow this to go any further." Saix said as he and Axel pull out their weapons. Suddenly the two dodge a Large blast as everyone looks up at Nathan standing on the Highway with his weapon in hand.
"Yeah well, Tough Shit." Nathan said as he jumps down. "Team RWBY, I trust you can handle the mech?"
"Yeah we can, but what about you?" Weiss asked looking to the older boy.
"Don't worry Weiss, I got them handled, worry about Roman." Nathan said swiping his gunblade to his side.
"Well, aren't you the Big Hero." Axel said with a smirk.
Nathan rolled his eyes. "I'm not here to be a hero. I'm here to take down Torchwick."
"Fine by me," Saix said as he charged towards Nathan, his claymore at the ready.
Nathan met him halfway, clashing his gunblade against the claymore. The force of the impact sent shockwaves through the air, and the two combatants continued to trade blows, their weapons striking sparks as they clashed.
Meanwhile, Team RWBY had split up to take on the Paladin.
"Freezer Burn!" Ruby called out as she and Blake jump back out of the way as Weiss performs her same ice-circle trick, but backs out of Yang's way when she jumps into the air and hits the epicenter with her Ember Celica, creating a wave of mist that surrounds Roman. Immediately, the Paladin activates its laser sensors to make up for the lost sight, but it barely sees the afterimage of Blake and narrowly misses the dashing Yang. A gun manages to fire at the area between Blake and Yang, but out from the blast comes Ruby, who slashes the metal with her blade, causing it to falter.
"Checkmate!" Ruby then calls out as Blake and Weiss go in this time, each girl going for the feet until Weiss jumps up and stabs a sensor before leaping off of a white glyph. Roman lifts the Paladin's foot to crush Blake, but Weiss summons another glyph under her teammate to launch her backwards before the crushing blow can land. Roman growls and fires off the missiles, but Weiss and Blake flip backwards as the explosions merely hit where they were, but Weiss jumps up too high, and Roman fires a double energy blast at her. Myrtenaster absorbs the damage, but Weiss is thrown back, so she casts a beam of light from her weapon to the ground under Blake, forming a yellow clockwork circle that's absorbed into the Faunus girl and lets her slice through each launched missile with ease in a flurry of super-fast slashes.
"Ladybug!" Ruby called out running into the fray as she shoots herself forward and cuts at the robot's legs, then turns as Blake aims herself at the giant's feet as well. They both dash forward and attack at the same time, circling each other around the Paladin with each strike until they both launch themselves into the air and come down together on the shoulder, cutting off the left arm entirely.
Yang doesn't waste a second, jumping onto the Paladin's back and punching the top with fiery shotgun blasts. Roman is knocked around in the cabin, but seeing as he can't reach her with his remaining mechanical arm, he runs backwards through two columns and leaves her embedded in a third before backing away and turning towards her. Just as she is falling down, the remaining arm extends a closed fist, and when it punches her, she flies through the column and doesn't get up.
"Yang!" Blake called out in worry.
"Don't worry! With each hit she gets stronger, and she uses that energy to fight back! That's what makes her special." Ruby said as Yang slowly gets back on her feet, hair burning a brilliant white as she clenches her fists. Roman then throws a punch, but Yang catches it in her own hand and, eyes red with rage, smashes her knuckles into the second arm, obliterating it. Getting desperate with his armless robot, Roman immediately kicks Yang to the side, but as she passes her sister and teammates...
"Bumblebee!" Ruby calls out as Blake throws her Gambol Shroud out for Yang to catch while flying, and the Faunus uses the momentum to swing the glowing girl around for a final hit to the robot. Roman, however, steps out of the way just in time to avoid complete destruction.
"We have to slow it down!" Ruby said looking at what was happening.
"And how do you propose we do that?" Weiss asked as Ruby gives her a determined look.
"Ice Flower!" Ruby said confidently twirling their weapons so they both point at Roman, Weiss creates a series of glyphs in front of the scythe's sniper barrel, and a single shot through the circles creates a dazzling spiral of energy that creates large icicles upon impact with the Paladin. Ruby continues to shoot as Weiss freezes the fire, and as the ice completely envelops the robot's body, Blake swings her partner around in a circle one more time, but with Roman unable to move, the Paladin is hit by the speed and power of Yang's fists, flying into the air before crashing down in a hundred pieces and a defeated criminal.
Roman then gets up, slightly dazed but unharmed, as he inspects the damage while brushing himself off. "Just got this thing cleaned..."
Roman looks up just in time to see Yang, still burning with her absorbed power, fire a single shot at the defenseless thief, but he's saved at the last instant when the two-toned girl from before drops in front of him and merely opens her umbrella, deflecting the blast entirely. The new arrival hangs the weapon over her shoulder as Roman addresses the victors.
"Ladies, Ice Queen..." Roman began mockingly.
"Hey!"
"Always a pleasure! Neo, if you would..." Roman continued gesturing to the pink-and-brown girl as she curtsies her enemies with a bow, but Yang having none of it, charges forward with fists raised to strike the outlaws... only to break their image as if made out of a mirror and turn just in time to see them escape in a Bullhead. The rest of team RWBY runs up to Yang's side, now cooled down with the end of the fight.
"So I guess he got a new henchman..." Yang said with a sigh.
"Yeah, I guess she really made our plans... fall apart!" Weiss said with a smile.
Yang looks at Wiess as she continues to smile, Ruby giggles, and Blake starts walking away, she simply states. "No. Just... no."
"What- But, you do it!" Weiss said getting mad.
"There's a time and a place for jokes." Yang said looking to the white haired girl.
"Was this not it?" Weiss asked confused.
"No, it just wasn't very good." Yang said as she begins to follow Blake.
"Well, at least I'm trying!" Weiss said walking with her teammates.
"Wait... Where are Sun and Neptune?" Ruby said looking around as suddenly a large red energy emits from nearby.
"What is that?" Blake asked trying to stay up as the four are hit with shockwaves.
"Oh No." Weiss said in horror as she runs off toward where the energy is coming from.
"Weiss wait up." Ruby called out as the remaining members of Team RWBY follow their Teammate.
'You said you wouldn't need to use your semblance Nathan.' Weiss thought as she rushes forward.
As the fight continued, Nathan and Saix were locked in a fierce battle, their weapons clashing with increasing intensity. Saix was a formidable opponent, but Nathan was no slouch either. He used his agility to dodge the claymore's swings and landed blows of his own, his gunblade cutting through the air with deadly precision.
Finally, Nathan saw his opening. As Saix swung his claymore in a wide arc, Nathan ducked underneath it and slashed upwards with his gunblade, catching Saix in the chest. The Man stumbled back, gasping for air, and Nathan moved in for the kill.
But before he could strike the final blow, Axel intervened, his chakrams whirling through the air. Nathan parried the attacks with ease, but the distraction was enough for Saix to recover and launch a counter-attack. Nathan was forced to defend himself against both opponents, his gunblade flashing as he blocked their attacks. He was starting to feel the strain of the fight, but he refused to give up. With a burst of energy, Nathan launched himself at Axel, his gunblade flashing in the moonlight. Axel dodged the attack, but Nathan followed up with a swift kick to the Man's stomach, sending him stumbling backwards.
Before he could capitalize on his advantage, however, Saix was on him again, swinging his claymore with deadly force. Nathan parried the attack, but the force of the blow sent him skidding backwards across the pavement.
He rolled to his feet, his gunblade held at the ready. "Is that all you've got?" he taunted, trying to buy himself a moment to catch his breath.
But Saix wasn't fooled. He charged forward, his claymore whistling through the air. Nathan Closed his eye's knowing what he must do.
A red energy swirled around him, as Saix's claymore slammed down it only his pavement as Nathan seemed to disappeared. The Two Organization Members looked around for him, then heard a low growl as they turned to where sound was coming from and was surprised at what they saw. Nathan continued to have red energy swirl around him but it also seemed to give him a feral look with red eyes and his hair jagging out.
Axel and Saix exchanged a look of confusion and surprise, unsure of what to make of Nathan's transformation. But they didn't have time to ponder it for long, as Nathan charged forward with a fierce roar, his gunblade blazing with energy.
The two fought back, but Nathan was too fast, too strong. His attacks were wild and unpredictable, and his red aura seemed to amplify his already impressive abilities. Axel and Saix were soon on the defensive, struggling to keep up with Nathan's ferocity.
Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, Axel and Saix began to falter. They exchanged a glance, then nodded to each other and disappeared in a Corridor of Darkness, retreating. Nathan looked around in a daze at the next thing to attack as Team RWBY came up on him.
"Nathan! Are you..." Weiss began before she stopped and quickly dodged as Nathan charged at her.
"Nathan, snap out of it!" Ruby shouted as she fired a shot from her Crescent Rose, barely missing him.
Nathan didn't seem to hear her, his red eyes fixed on his next target. He lunged at Blake, who quickly dodged and tried to reason with him. "Nathan, it's us! It's Team RWBY! You have to stop!"
But Nathan was lost in a berserker rage, his red aura pulsing around him. He continued to attack, his movements becoming more and more erratic.
Suddenly, a voice boomed through the chaos. "STOP!"
Nathan froze, his gunblade still raised as a fist dug into his stomach. The red aura began to fade, and his eyes slowly returned to their normal color.
Team RWBY looked to where the voice and the hand came from and saw two men standing there. The First was a man with a lean and athletic build. He had medium-length reddish-brown hair, and blue eyes. He wore a long red coat with metal shoulder-pads over a modified uniform resembling Sephiroth's, tall black boots with buckles up top, and red gloves. He wears a dangling silver earring similar to a dagger on his right ear and a silver stud earring on his left ear. The Second Man was much taller with a muscular build. He had lightly tan skin, blue eyes, medium-length slicked back black hair with bangs hanging on either side, and a small goatee. He wore the standard Black Atlas uniform.
"Nathan, are you alright?" The Second man asked, approaching him cautiously.
"Angeal?" Nathan said as he blinked, looking around at the destruction he had caused. He lowered his weapon, his shoulders sagging. "What...what happened?"
"You lost control of your semblance again, that what." The First said mockingly as Angeal walked between them.
"Genesis" Angeal shot back causing the now named Genesis to scoff.
"Lying to him won't help." Genesis said with a shrug.
"Why are you two here." Nathan asked regaining control of himself.
"We heard of reports of fighting, so we came to check to see what was going on." Angeal answered.
"Is that so?" Nathan said before gaining a serious expression. "Well you can head back I'll have a full report for the General soon."
Angeal nodded as he began to walk away but stops to see Genesis not moving as the red haired man looks to Nathan.
"My friend, the fates are cruel, There are no dreams, no honor remains, The arrow has left the bow of the goddess. My friend, your desire, Is the bringer of life, the gift of the goddess, Legend shall speak, Of sacrifice at world's end, The wind sails over the water's surface, Quietly, but surely, Even if the morrow is barren of promises, Nothing shall forestall my return." Genesis said as he turns and walks away passing Angeal who gives Nathan a nod as they disappear from view.
"What was that about." Yang said running up to him.
"It's Nothing just Head back to Beacon."
"But..." Weiss began before being cut off by Nathan.
"Go back. We'll meet up later." Nathan said as he walks away, leaving Team RWBY to look at each other in concern.
"Got to hand it to ol' Tinman's Kid!" Xigbar said while sitting in his spot as he gains the Attention from Xemnas, Axel and Saix. "He sure did a number on you two."
Xemnas remained silent, his golden eyes cold and calculating as he regarded Xigbar. Axel and Saix exchanged a wary look, knowing that Xemnas was not one to take failure lightly.
"It was an unexpected turn of events," Xemnas finally spoke, his voice measured and calm. "But we must not underestimate the power of the Human Soul. We must learn from this experience and adapt our strategies accordingly."
Axel nodded in agreement, relieved that Xemnas wasn't angry with them. Saix remained silent, his face stoic as he processed their defeat.
Xigbar chuckled. "Don't worry, boss. We'll get 'em next time."
Xemnas gave a small nod. "Good, Axel before you depart I have a task for you."
"And that is?"
"Castle Oblivion."
Axel's eyes narrowed. "What about it?"
"I want you to go there and help guard Vexen's Research." Xemnas said. "His work cannot be interrupted."
Axel crossed his arms, a skeptical look on his face. "And what exactly is Vexen researching that's so important?"
"That is not your concern," Xemnas replied coolly. "Just ensure that his work remains undisturbed. And don't fail me, Axel. The consequences will be severe."
Axel nodded, a determined look in his eyes. "I won't fail, Xemnas. You can count on me."
With that, he disappeared in a Corridor of Darkness, ready to carry out his mission. Xemnas turned to Saix and Xigbar. "As for you two, continue with your respective missions. We have much to accomplish."
Saix and Xigbar both bowed respectfully, then disappeared as well, leaving Xemnas alone in the dark chamber.

Who wow not as long this time so yeah lots of stuff Happening anyone else felt welmed by the end of Vol 9. So Angeal and Genesis yeah I always had planned for them show up their story will be closely tied with Sephiroth's. And what could Vexen be researching oooo ahhh so castle oblivion will coming during the who thing with the train so team SNRS will not be there with the win button also adding Jiraya was kinda a last minute thing. I orignally wanted to use Qrow but I changed my mind and though Jiraya was the better option. No Menma this time round but he will be having something coming up soon. So until Next time!
