Hello welcome to yet another chapter man 2 chapters in one year, I must be doing something right. Anyway I wanna point out a criticism from the last chapter with the kingdom hearts elements in the story. Everything in this story is committed to only be in Remnant and Everafter (when I finally get there) so your not gonna see Mickey, Donald, Goofy or any Disney characters cause they don't need to be there I have laid out that the Organization are from Remnant, the Heartless does not need to be in the story cause the Grimm fill that roll. Sorry if I am being a little snarky but the Kingdom hearts elements are not that heavy other then the Antagonist are from Kingdom hearts and the Main Character has a Keyblade. That's all I wanted to say so with that done ONTO THE CHAPTER...

Chapter 15: Rest and Relaxation

"And that's the match." Glynda said as she approaches from behind a downed Cardin who clutches his ribs reveal that they were in the arena with only opponent standing on the Far side being Pyrrha.

"Lucky shot." Cardin said before he collapses.

"Well done, Miss Nikos. You should have no problem qualifying for the tournament." Glynda said with a nod.

"Thank you, professor." Pyrrha said as began Glynda tapping on her Scroll.

"Alright, now I know that's a tough act to follow, but we have time for one more sparring match." Glynda then looks around at the observing students. "Any volunteers? Ms. Belladonna?" Blake then slams her book shut and stares wide-eyed at Glynda. "You've been rather docile for the past few classes. Why don't you -"

Mercury raises his hand causing everyone to murmur to themselves.

"I'll do it." Mercury said keeping his hand raised.

"Mercury, is it? Very well, let's find you an opponent." Glynda said as she proceeded to look at her Scroll.

"Actually, I wanna fight... her." Mercury said as he points to Pyrrha.

"Me?" Pyrrha asked confused.

"I'm afraid Miss Nikos has just finished the match. I recommend you choose another partner." Glynda said as she narrows her eyes.

"No, it's fine! I'd be happy to-" Pyrrha began until she was cut off.

"I'll fight him."

Everyone looked to see who spoke to see Naruto standing up.

"Mr. Xiao-Long?" Glynda said soften her eye's. "Mercury are you ok with this change?"

Mercury looked to Cinder who was silently seething but was intrigued all the same then looked to Mercury and nodded.

"I guess that's alright!" Mercury said with a shrug.

"Very well then, will you both proceed down to the arena." Glynda said gesturing to the ground.

As Naruto made his way to the arena he saw Pyrrha standing at the entrance way.

"Pyrrha? Is there something you needed?" Naruto asked looking at the girl.

Pyrrha hesitated for a moment, looking uncertain. "I just wanted to wish you good luck," she said finally, offering a small smile.

Naruto returned the smile. "Thanks, Pyrrha. I appreciate it." He gave her a nod before making his way down to the arena floor not seeing Pyrrha face shifted to one of worry.

Mercury then struts into the arena soon after, visibly sizing up Naruto. Naruto then summoned his keyblade and the two combatants took their positions.

"Are the two of you ready?" Glynda asked as she looks between the two.

"Yes!" The Two said in Unison narrowing their eyes at each other.

Glynda raised her hand and then swiftly lowered it, signaling the start of the match. Mercury immediately dashed towards Naruto, throwing a barrage of kicks. Naruto, however, was able to dodge and block every attack with his keyblade.

Mercury then jumped back, smirking at Naruto. "Not bad, blondie. But let's see if you can keep up!" he taunted before rushing towards Naruto again.

Naruto was ready this time and use his his semblance to counter Mercury's attacks with his keyblade. The two exchanged blows, each one trying to gain the upper hand. The audience watched in awe as the two fighters moved with incredible speed and skill.

Mercury then attempted to land a swift kick on Naruto's side, but Naruto saw it coming and quickly parried the attack. He then followed up with a powerful strike that sent Mercury flying across the arena.

Ruby quickly turns towards Emerald sitting behind her. "Hey, your friend's doing pretty good."

Emerald gives a fake smile and then rolls her eyes as Ruby turns her back.

As the fight continued, Mercury began to get more aggressive, using his robotic legs to launch himself at Naruto with powerful kicks. However, Naruto's quick reflexes allowed him to dodge most of the attacks and counter with his keyblade.

The two fighters continued to clash, creating shockwaves that shook the arena. Breaking the dead lock and glowing gold with his semblance, Naruto dashed toward Mercury with his Keyblade intent on finishing the match. Mercury smirked and raised his hands.

"I forfeit." Mercury said non-chalantly causing Naruto to almost stumble as he stops beside him.

"You... don't even want to try?" Naruto said narrowing his eyes.

"What's the point? You're the Yellow Flash. We're obviously leagues apart." Mercury said with a shrug.

"In that case... Naruto Xiao-Long is the victor of the match..." Glynda said as Emerald smirks. Mercury sneers smugly. Pyrrha has a annoyed and disappointed look on her face, as Naruto dismisses his Keyblade. The Aura displays for Naruto and Mercury are shown as Mercury's is changed from green to red indicating his loss.

"Next time, you may want to think a little harder before choosing an opponent." Glynda said looking to Mercury.

"I'll be sure to do that." Mercury said as an alarm sounds off which jolts Blake who has nodded off.

"That is all for today. And remember, the dance is this weekend. But you all have your first mission on Monday. I will not accept any excuses." Glynda said looking to all her students.

As everyone leaves, Mercury stops beside Emerald. "Learning is so much fun."

Outside, SSSN are standing at the entrance as Team RWBY walks past. Sun notices Blake and runs after her.

"Hey, Blake!" Sun asked as he grabs Blake by her shoulder. "You uh, doing okay?"

"I'm fine." Blake answered as she shuts the book she is reading.

"Are you sure? You seem a bit distracted," Sun said, noticing the distant look in Blake's eyes.

Blake let out a sigh. "It's nothing, just drop it!"

"Whoa, hey where is the fire?" A voice said causing everyone to turn and see team SNRS standing there particularly Naruto.

"Like I said it's nothing just leave me alone." Blake said as she pushes past her boyfriend who gives her a concerned look.

"What was that about?" Sakura asked raising an brow at what happened.

"After the stuff with Torchwick, she has become very distant." Weiss said looking to her fellow students.

"I'll go talk to her." Naruto said as he kept looking in the direction she was going.

"Are you sure, bro?" Yang asked tilting her head to the side. "You are not always so tactful with these things."

Naruto shrugged. "I'll do my best. Blake is my girlfriend, and I want to make sure she's okay."

"Okay, but be gentle with her," Robin advised. "She's been through a lot, and she's not always ready to open up about it."

Naruto nodded and headed off in the direction Blake had gone. He found her sitting on a bench, staring off into the distance.

"Mind if I join you?" Naruto asked as he sat down beside her.

Blake shrugged. "Suit yourself."

They sat in silence for a few minutes before Naruto spoke up. "You know, it's okay to talk about what's bothering you. We're all here to support you."

Blake shook her head. "It's nothing, really. I just don't want to talk about it."

"Alright." Naruto said as the two sat for a while in silence until Naruto spoke up again.

"So what are we gonna do about the dance this weekend?"

"What?" Blake asked in return caught off guard by what Naruto asked.

"The dance! This weekend! This would be our first dance as a couple." Naruto said looking at her hoping to reach her.

"I don't have time for a stupid dance. I thought you of all people would get that." Blake said as she gets up and looks at him with a glare.

Naruto stood up, looking at Blake with a mixture of confusion and hurt. "Hey, what's with the attitude? I was just trying to lighten the mood a bit."

Blake crossed her arms. "I'm sorry, I just have a lot on my mind right now. The dance isn't really a priority for me."

"So your saying our relationship is not a priority either?" Naruto said narrowing his eyes.

"No, that's not what I meant!" Blake replied quickly, realizing her mistake. "I just meant that with everything that's been going on, I haven't really been thinking about the dance. Of course our relationship is a priority to me."

Naruto's expression softened a bit, but he still looked a bit hurt. "Okay, I understand. But I just thought it would be a fun thing for us to do together. We don't always have to be so serious, you know?"

Blake sighed. "I know, and I appreciate that. I'm sorry for being so dismissive, but the dance right now is something I want nothing to do with."

Blake then walks from Naruto, who looks at her retreating back feeling hurt, but picks himself up and goes and rejoins his team.

"You what?" Blake yelled out as she sits with her arms crossed in the RWBY dorm room with the rest of the team.

"We want you to go to the dance." Ruby said looking the Faunus girl.

"That's ridiculous." Blake said rolling her eye's.

"Blake, we're worried about you. This investigation is starting to mess with your head." Yang said trying to reason with her. "And plus you basically blew Naruto off again."

"Not to mention, you can't sleep, you hardly eat, and to be honest, your grades have been suffering." Weiss added counting the facts on her fingers.

"You think I care about grades?" Blake said shrugging and then gestures out the window. "People's lives are at stake!"

Yang puts her hand on Blake's, lowering it. "We know, and we're all still trying to figure out what Torchwick and the Organization is up to."

"Thanks to you and Sun, we know they're operating somewhere outside of southeast Vale." Ruby said trying to be positive.

"And, the Schnee company records singled out Vale as the primary target for Dust robberies over the last few months." Wiess added as well.

"Don't forget about their missing military tech too." Yang said as the other girls look to her. "What Nathan told me that there has been thefts."

"But there's still unanswered questions!" Blake countered narrowing her eye's.

"Blake, you won't be able to find anything if you can't even keep your eyes open!" Ruby said trying to reason with Blake

"All we're asking is that you take it easy for one day." Yang said. "And maybe calling Akeno will do you some good, you haven't spoken to her for weeks."

"Yes it will help and for the dance it will be fun! Yang and I will make sure of it." Weiss said with a determined look on her face.

"Oh Yeah! We're planning the whole event!" Yang said pumping her fists which causes the bed to bounce Blake.

"Excuse me?" Blake asked in surprise.

"Team CFVY's away mission lasted longer than expected." Weiss said with a smile.

"So, Weiss and I were asked to pick up where they left off. And now we can make sure you and Naruto have a perfect night." Yang said causing Blake to blush slightly before shaking it off.

"And once it's all over, we'll return for our search, rested and ready." Weiss said nodding her head, but was slightly disappointed.

"So what do ya think?" Ruby asked looking to Blake.

"I think this is a colossal waste of time." Blake said as she walks away from the group and opens the dorm door. "I'll be in the library."

She then proceeds to walks out of the room causing everyone to sigh.

"Great." Yang said sarcastically.

"She can't keep going on like this." Weiss said looking to Ruby and Yang. "Has Naruto said anything to her?"

"Yeah he tried, but she blew him off so he is pretty steamed." Yang answered resting her hand under her chin then gets a slight smirk. "Ya know Weiss, you could pull a reverse and ask him to the dance if she won't come."

"Who?" Ruby asked confused as she raised an eyebrow.

"Naruto, dear little sister. Ms. Ice Queen here has feelings for our Dear Brother." Yang said causing a giant blush on Weiss.

"He is with Blake, I will not try to separate the two just because I may have feelings for him." Weiss said narrowing her eye's at Yang. "But the same could be said about you and Nathan huh."

"Well of course I am gonna ask him." Yang said Bluntly.

There's then a knock at the door and Weiss approaches and opens it. Jaune appearing at the door with a guitar.

"Weiss!" Jaune sang out as Weiss slams the door in his face. "Oh, come on, open the door! I promise not to sing."

Weiss opens the door.

"I lied! Weiss Schu-nee, will you accompany me, to the dance on... Sunday!?" Jaune sang out loud.

"Are you done?" Weiss asked looking bored.

"Yes?" Jaune said with a shrug.

"No." Weiss said as she shuts the door in his face again. Turning around, she sees the others staring at her. "What?"

"And that is why they call you the Ice Queen." Yang said placing her hand on her hip as both girls are standing precariously, Ruby then collapses.

"All my life, boys have only cared about the perks of my last name. Besides, I already have a date in mind." Weiss said then quickly turns to Yang. "And it is not Naruto."

"Date or no date, none of this will matter if we can't get Blake to go." Ruby said with a sigh.

That night, Pyrrha and Jaune are sparring at their spot on the roof. Jaune appears to gain the upper hand until Pyrrha sweeps his legs out from under him.

"Well done! Your swordplay's improved immensely." Pyrrha said while laughing as she helps Jaune to his feet.

"I couldn't have done it without you." Jaune said with a small smile.

"So, are you ready to move on to Aura?" Pyrrha asked as Robin walked in on the two.

"I'm actually thinking maybe we just skip Aura for tonight? Might go on a jog or something." Jaune said with a sigh causing Robin to give him a concerned look.

"Come on, I know you get frustrated, but you need to keep trying. I'm sure you'll discover your Semblance any day now." Robin said as she places a hand close to her heart.

"Robin is correct, don't give up Jaune." Pyrrha said with a nod.

"That's not it. It's just..." Jaune began to say before hesitating. "It's dumb."

"What is it?" Pyrrha askes as she approaches Jaune and places her hand on his shoulder. "Jaune, you know you can tell us."

"It's... Weiss." Jaune said causing Robin face to fall slightly.

"Oh. What about her?" Robin asked keeping up the façade.

"I asked her to the dance and she shot me down." Jaune said while giggling halfheartedly. "Big surprise, right?"

"Well, I believe the saying goes: There's... plenty of fish in the sea." Pyrrha says subtly looking Robin who seems to be getting kind of upset.

"That's easy for you to say. You've probably got guys clamoring over each other just to ask either of you out." Jaune said as Robin regained her composure.

"You'd be surprised." Pyrrha said as Robin chuckles half-heartedly.

"Oh please. If you either of you don't get a date to the dance, I'll wear a dress. Heh." Jaune said as he dismisses the thought then proceeds to walks away. Pyrrha drops her smile and looks rather upset as she turns to Robin.

"Why didn't you ask him." Pyrrha asked as Robin gives her a look.

Robin sighed softly, her gaze dropping to the ground for a moment before meeting Pyrrha's eyes. "It's complicated, Pyrrha," she admitted, her voice tinged with a mix of sadness and uncertainty. "There are reasons why I can't ask him."

Pyrrha's brows furrowed in concern. "What reasons? Robin, you're a strong and amazing person. If you have feelings for Jaune, you should let him know that you want to go the dance with him."

Robin looked torn, her expression reflecting the conflict within her. "It's not that simple," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "There are... other factors involved. Factors that make it difficult for us to be together."

"Such as..." Pyrrha said looking unsure.

"It's nothing, but the same could be said about you, Pyrrha." Robin said as she looks back to the red head.

"What do you mean?" Pyrrha asked unsure what Robin meant.

"About Naruto, I know your in love with him." Robin said catching her off-guard.

Pyrrha's eyes widened in surprise, her cheeks turning slightly pink. She stammered, searching for words but struggling to find them. "I... I don't know what you're talking about," she finally managed to say, her voice filled with a mixture of embarrassment and denial.

Robin's expression softened, her gaze filled with understanding. "Pyrrha, it's okay. I can see it. The way you look at him, the way you care for him. It's written all over you."

Pyrrha's shoulders slumped, and she let out a defeated sigh. "I never meant for it to be so obvious. I've tried to hide my feelings, but it seems like everyone can see right through me."

Robin took a step closer to Pyrrha, her voice gentle and comforting. "Love has a way of making itself known, even when we try to conceal it. And believe me, I understand the struggles of having feelings for someone you can't easily be with."

"Maybe one day that can change, but now all I want is for Naruto to be happy." Pyrrha said with a smile.

"Yeah, maybe if we get those two idiot blonds to see it." Robin said as she begins to walk off.

"And finally, Pyrrha Nikos." Menma said as he explains to Cinder who is sewing a black dress as she sits on one of the beds. Emerald is sitting on the floor while looking at her Scroll, and Mercury is lying on the ground and reading a comic book.

"Ah, the invincible girl." Cinder said as she looks to Menma.

"She's smart, but I wouldn't say invincible considering the info I was able to find on her." Menma said narrowing his eyes.

"Do tell." Cinder said as Emerald looked up.

"Her Semblance is Polarity. But you'd never know just by watching." Emerald Explained as read off the report Menma gave.

"It appears she is able to move metal around however she wants. But she only makes slight adjustments." Menma continued to explain as Mercury scoffs lightly.

"Just enough to make it look like she's untouchable. She doesn't broadcast her power, so it puts her opponent at a disadvantage." Emerald followed up getting a nod from Menma.

"Hmm... People assume that she's fated for victory, when she's really taking fate into her own hands. Interesting. Add her to the list." Cinder said as she gains a smirk.

"You should be able to take her no problem." Mercury said as he looks away from his comic book.

"It's not about overpowering the enemy. It's about taking away what power they have. And we will, in time." Cinder said briefly looking at Menma with a slight blush.

"I hate waiting." Mercury said with a loud sigh.

"Don't worry, Mercury. We have a fun weekend ahead of us." Cinder said as she continues to work on the dress but then looks to Menma. "By the way Menma, considered my offer about the dance."

"It would not be a good idea for me to be there considering both my little sister and Naruto will be there." Menma said gaining a hard look.

"If they are such a worry, why don't we eliminate them?" Mercury said before he was thrown from his bed and pinned down by Menma, who gives Mercury a death glare.

Menma's eyes narrowed, his grip on Mercury tightening. "Listen to me, Mercury. You don't touch them. You don't harm them. Naruto and my sister are off-limits. Understood?"

Mercury squirmed under Menma's intense gaze and nodded quickly. "Yeah, yeah, I get it. No need to get all worked up."

Menma released his grip, allowing Mercury to get up from the floor. He took a deep breath, trying to calm himself down. "Good. Be the good attack dog and stay down."

"I have a way to get you in the dance, without anyone noticing or recognizing you." Emerald then said gaining everyone's attention.

Menma's gaze shifted from Mercury to Emerald, his curiosity piqued. "What do you mean, Emerald? How can you guarantee that?"

Emerald smiled mischievously, her eyes gleaming with confidence. "My semblance allows me to be able to create powerful illusions. With my Semblance, I can make you appear as someone else entirely. No one will suspect a thing."

Cinder leaned in, intrigued by the proposition. "And who would Menma appear as?"

Emerald's grin widened. "Well, there's someone attending the dance who happens to bear a striking resemblance to Menma. A student named Taro. I can make Menma look like Taro, and he can blend in seamlessly."

Menma's expression hardened as he considered the plan. It was a risky move, but it could provide an opportunity to gather information and further their agenda. "If it ensures our goals and doesn't rouse suspicion from Naruto or my sister, I will consider it. But the illusion needs to be flawless, Emerald."

Emerald nodded, her confidence unwavering. "Rest assured, Menma. My illusions are among the best. No one will suspect a thing."

Cinder smirked, clearly pleased with the plan. "Excellent. With Menma inside the dance, we can assess the situation firsthand and devise our next move accordingly."

Mercury, still recovering from his encounter with Menma, grumbled but remained silent. He knew better than to challenge Menma again.

Menma looked the group, then sighed in annoyance. "Very well, Emerald. Prepare the illusion and make the necessary arrangements. We have an opportunity to gain an advantage, and we won't let it slip away."

With that Menma raises his hand as a Corridor of Darkness appears as Cinder looks to him. "Where are you going?"

"Where do you think, I gotta get a suit." Menma said then giving her a smirk that causes her blush harder. "After all if I am taking you to the dance, Gotta look my best."

Menma then walks through as the portal disappearing leaving the three to continue to plot.

Wow lot of stuff happening and I got this chapter out very quicker. I mean as this was a shorter chapter but boy how. Yeah you can start to see the frictions between Naruto's and Blake's relationship all will be coming to ahead next chapter. Now we know what Cinder wanted from Menma, since I decided to have Mercury Fight Naruto instead of Pyrrha had to give a reason for them to know her semblance so I think that went well. Hopefully next chapter will be coming just as quick (Probably not) but see you all in the next chapter.
