The episode starts off with Zack cooking some Mac n Cheese, Bailey stirring the mashed potatoes, Maddie making some tea and Cody putting the turkey in the oven
"This is going to be the best Thanksgiving ever." Zack said
Alana and Cody Jr walk in the kitchen
"When will dinner be ready?" Alana asked
"If all goes to plan, we should be eating by 2PM." Cody replied
London walks in with pumpkin pie
"I got the pumpkin pie." London says
"Set it on the counter." Maddie said
"So is your dad coming?" Bailey asked
"Oh uh no. He's spending it in Hawaii." London said
"Lucky." Everyone but London said
"I never realized how your dad is never around." Cody said
"Yeah Mr. Moseby's been the one taking care of me." London said
"And sometimes he still does." Mr. Moseby said
"How long have you been standing there?" Cody Jr asked
"And how did you get in?" Alana asked
"You left the door open and long enough." Mr. Moseby replied
"Oh looks like I forgot to shut the door again. Whoops." London said
"Glad you can join us Moseby." Zack said
"Well it's not like I can spend it with my mom." Mr. Moseby says
"Where is she?" Maddie asked
"Spending it on a relaxing vacation far away from here." Mr. Moseby replied
"Well you got us to spend Thanksgiving with." Zack said
"Yeah whatever." Mr. Moseby says
"Speaking of mom, Zack do you know when our mom will be here?" Cody asked
"That I do not know my friend." Zack replied
"When I was young, my mom would make famous cranberry sauce." Mr. Moseby says
"Aw damn it that's what I forgot to buy." Maddie says
"Don't worry mom. Junior and I can go and get it." Alana said
"The store is 5 miles away and they close early today because it's a holiday." Bailey says
"Not to worry Bailey, I'll drive them. Just don't cause any problems." Mr. Moseby said
"Now you know we can't make that promise." Cody Jr says
"Yeah no shit." Mr. Moseby said as they exit the scene
A timer dings
"Oh the potatoes are ready." London said
"Actually that was the timer for the tea." Zack says
"Aw man. Well I'm going to watch some TV." London said
Zack's phone dings
"Hey mom wants me to put her on video chat." Zack said
Cody gets out his laptop and sets it on the counter and sees Carey is video calling so he answers
"Hey mom." Cody said
"Hi boys. I have some bad news." Carey said
"Are you pregnant again?" Zack asked
"No it's not that. Something came up so I won't be able to make it for Thanksgiving." Carey said
"Aw man." Maddie said
"We saved you a table and everything." Bailey says
"I'm sorry but it was a last minute thing. But I'll make it up for Christmas. I already have things planned out at the Boston Tipton." Carey says
"Wow I'm shocked that the building is still there." London said
"I'm shocked we never burned the place down." Zack says to Cody
"Yeah we were a mess." Cody says
"Hey where are my grand-babies?" Carey asked
"We send them down to a store to get some cranberry juice." Bailey replied
"At their age?" Carey asks
"Mom they're 14." Zack replied
"Yeah but you guys live in California and the people there are crazy." Carey said
"Don't worry Mrs. Martin. Mr. Moseby went with them." London says
"Plus we make sure they carry pepper spray at all times." Maddie says
"He went with Alana and Cody Jr even though they act just like you guys?" Carey asked
"Pretty much, yeah." Zack, Cody, Maddie, Bailey and London all said
"Huh didn't think he would put up with them." Carey says
"They better hurry or else they will miss out on dinner." Maddie says
At a store, Mr. Moseby and the kids are looking down the isles
"How can every store be out of cranberry sauce?" Mr. Moseby asked
"I mean it is Thanksgiving so." Cody Jr replied
"You're starting to sound like Aunt London." Alana says
"Just keep searching down the isles." Mr. Moseby says
Cody Jr. sees there is one box of cranberry sauce left
"Hey look what I found." Cody Jr says
"Grab it and let's get the hell out of here." Mr. Moseby said
Cody Jr gets on the shelf and grabs the bottle only to fall over which causes some boxes to fall on him, Alana and Mr. Moseby
"I'm okay." Cody Jr said
"Nice going." Alana says
"How could this get any worse?" Mr. Moseby asked
Soon all the lights go out and the intercom goes off
"Attention employees, we are now closed for the day. Have a great Thanksgiving." An employee said
"Son of a bitch!" Mr. Moseby said
"Language." Alana says
"Hey we cuss sometimes too." Cody Jr said
"Let's just get out before we get locked in." Mr. Moseby says
As they escape the boxes, they try to open the door but it's locked
"Shit it's locked!" Cody Jr said
"I blame Mr. Moseby." Alana says
"Oh don't you blame this all on me! He's the one who knocked the shelf over" Mr. Moseby said
"I'm literally my father's child. What did you expect?" Cody Jr asked
"This is not how I wanted to spend Thanksgiving." Alana says as part one comes to an end
