Chapter IV : Sad Birthday

Birthday parties Bella Swan was never too fond of them, because they were mostly spent alone, in the dark, while her mother was out with different people partying her life away, she had honestly begged not to have this party but her sisters, her brothers, and her mother had insisted she had this party because they wanted her to have a happy birthday party, and for her family she'd do absolutely anything, even have a birthday party.

She was tired, sleepy, and she wanted to be curled up under a cover in one of her mothers sweatshirts, sleeping soundly, but seeing the smiles on their faces was worth staying awake for, so she decided she could in fact brave the party, just to see their smiles.

"Little bird?" Bella looked up at Victoria with her eyebrows furrowed in confusion.

Victoria smiled at Bella's confused face and moved away from Rose, getting closer to Bella she booped her nose before speaking.

"i asked how you're liking your birthday so far? Please tell me your having fun or i'll be very sad, and be forced to cry myself to sleep in Rose's arms." Victoria said while winking dramatically at Bella.

"It's pretty fun when Edward's not looming over me like a baby bird in need of feeding, also we both know you'd end up in Rose's arms tonight crying or not, so let's not pretend like you have to be forced into them." Victoria waved her hand dismissively with a small smile.

"Statistics."

"Vic it's schematics."

"Same thing."

"But really, don't worry my little bird if he keeps it up, ill throw him through the window, and whisk you away to free from old man Eddie land."

"You will not be throwing anyone out the window, am i understood?"

"But mom-"

"Nope! no people out window's."

Victoria dropped her head in disappointment and drug her feet as she walked straight into Rosalie's arms and placed her head on her shoulder.

"Comfort me, my sweet, sweet Rose."

"It'll be okay baby, just trick him into one of your practice fight's and throw him around til your heart's content." Esme looked at Rose disapprovingly as she rubbed Victoria's back.

"Whattt im just making my baby happy."

Bella fake gagged as she watched them hug, even though she thought they were an adorable couple, she doesn't know what Rose would be like if they'd never run into Victoria.

"You two are the most disgusting mates i have ever seen, worse than Emmett and Jasper if I do say so myself." Bella looked over at Alice with a cute smile as if she figured out a secret.

"Speaking of disgusting mates how's your Tanya." Alice bounced over to Bella with a large smile on her face, and plopped down next to her dropping her head on Bella's shoulder.

"We called last night and she told me her and the girls will come down and visit sometime soon, and you know how much I hate being away from my big tough coven leader, i miss her, and you know after your out of school we'll move closer to them, but for now it's just me missing my baby." Everyone smiled as Alice rambled happily about her mate.

"Pfffffffft your totally that baby in the relationship, you Alice my sweet pixie elf, are the bottom." Alice raised an eyebrow and turned to Bella with a grumpy look on her face.

"How dare you! I am the top."

"No No Ali, i know how it works theirs like a Top and a Bottom or whatever you guys call it in the vampy world-"

"The dominant pair, and the submissive pair."

"Yeah, that and it's very obvious who is who, Emmett is a top, so is Vicki, so is Carcar, so is Tanya-"

"Okay one, you know dad hates when you call him that, and two you have all of those wrong." Bella sat in shock staring at everyone in the room.

"NO! your lYINNGGGGG, YOU MEAN-...JASPER?- YOUUUUU?- MY MA?, but- but she's so sweet so soft, so adorable,."

"Hey! what about me." Victoria asked with a frown.

"Eh i should have guessed Rose would make you fold on a daily basis."

"I-"

"Don't even deny it baby."

"Hmph."

"I wonder which one i am."

"Bottom." Everyone said without even hesitating.

"RUDE!"

"Honey, i'm hommmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmeeeeeeeeeeee." Emmett said loudly as he entered the house with the others behind him, Bella scooted closer to Alice as Edward came in behind Jasper.

"Did we miss anything?"

"Nah just Bella being a bottom."

"THAT IS A LIEEEEE."

The birthday was going great until it was time to open presents, Bella picked up the first one and began opening it only to slice her finger, she brought it up to her mouth to suck the blood off only to be thrown back into a glass table before she could even get anything out.

She whined as she looked at the slice in her arm, one that reminded her of something she couldn't quite put her finger on, especially because her finger still hurt from the paper cut.

"Fuck." She said as she looked up seeing Victoria, Rose and Alice in front of her as Edward and Jasper tried to get to her while Carlisle, Esme and Emmett attempted to pull the two back.

"Edward son, she is your mate, you can fight this." Bella rolled her eyes in annoyance as she ripped out a piece of her shirt and wrapped it around her arm and plopped backwards with her head against the wall.

She trusted the three people in front of her to protect her, staring at her nails Bella recalled the lyrics to the song from the episode of glee she was watching last night and started humming.

"Just a small-town girl, living in a lonely world, took the midnight train going anywherreeeeeeeeee." Bella bopped her head with her eyes clothes as she continued to sing, she personally liked Rachel allot, even though she did a few bad things, the girl was a human, a teenage one on top of that who could judge her-.

"BELLA!"

"Huh...Oh." Esme stared at Bella with an unimpressed face as she pulled the girl up and wrapped her arms around her.

"We need to get you home dear, but don't worry everything will be okay." Esme said as she ran Bella home as fast as she could and placed the girl on her bed.

"Do you think you need a doctor?" Esme asked as she sat Bella down on the bed kissing her head softly.

"No ma, just going to sleep off the pain and get it checked out tomorrow."

Esme got up and started to head out the window.

"I'll contact you as soon as I can darling."

Edward came back from watching Bella sleep for a few minutes, and stood in front of his family with the best sad face he could fake.

"Now that were done voting, as you know i decide what happens with MY mate, and after what she said about Jasper, i will go and say goodbye, and you guys will go ahead, i want to be the only one who says goodbye."

"Edward that's not fair she's our sister-."

"SHE IS YOUR NOTHING, SHE IS MY MATE, I DECIDE, ME!."

"Edward is right Victoria you are new to being in a coven so you might not understand but the males choice, as well as the dominant's choice if it's a case like yours is what goes." Victoria clenched her jaw, as Rose took her arms and wrapped them around herself while crying.

"I know your mad, but i need you V." Victoria sighed before glaring at Edward, and speeding up to her and Rose's shared room with the crying girl in her arms.

"I- uhm i have stuff in Denali already so uhm- im leaving now, i need my mate."

Esme turned away from Carlisle as he tried to hug her and walked straight to her office with her head down sadly.

"You may pack my things for me."

"Bella i brought you here for a reason, were leaving."

"Were leaving? but i thought we were going to wait until i graduated, i mean people are going to have questions, but i guess that won't be to serious, cause Charlie won't really care, how much time do i have to pack?"

"No you are mistaken, ME and MY family are leaving, YOU are staying, you are not apart of this family, you think you can take them from me? Become a part of us? you are nothing more than a toy Bella Swan, and your not good enough for me anyways, so yes WE are leaving, and you are staying."

Bella stood staring at Edward as he fixed his shirt and looked around avoiding her eyes.

"Ill do you a favor, and make it seem like we were never here at all."

"And as thanks you will live your life, as if you've never heard of us."

"Goodbye Bella, and happy birthday." Edward said before he sped off.

Bella slid down to the ground and laid against a tree with tears in her eyes as she scoffed.

"Pretty sad birthday if you ask me."

As you can see this is the most edited original chapter, because if im being honest the first time i wrote it i was sick, and just trying to push something out before anyone decided to give up on the story, and i ended up fucking over the stories potential, i hope this makes up for it, and as always i hope you guys liked the chapter. Next up is probably another straight off the typing board chapter to give a bit more insight into How Bella's life went after the Cullens, and THEN the return.
