CHAPTER FORTY-ONE: EXTREME LIGHTNING!

Guards continued rushing at Natsu's group as Natsu, Sting, and Loke were striking at them. "Fire Dragon's Wing Attack!" Natsu shouted, attacking the guards with streams of fire.

"White Dragon's Iron Fist!" Sting called out, his fist being engulfed in holy light as he struck the guards.

"Regulus Impact!" Loke yelled, attacking more guards.

"Sky Dragon's Roar!" Wendy attacks the guards around her with her breath attack.

"This is the royal army? Consider me unimpressed." Fera insulted. "Fang Magic: Top Jaw!" He shouted as a top half of a set of fangs swiped down at some guards.

"Where are our reinforcements?!"

"On their way from sectors 7 and 8!"

"We've got strength in numbers!"

"Stop them!"

"Yeah!"

"For Princess Hisui!"

"Show her what you're made of!"

"Yeah!"

Lucas and his future counterpart stood back to back. "How many of them are there?!" He questioned.

"We shouldn't have come this way!" Future Lucas replied.

"It'll be okay, right? After all, we have magic..." Carla stated.

Happy was on high alert. "Carla, it's dangerous here, so get back!"

"You too!" Lily said as both him and Ace were in their Battle Forms.

Suddenly, acid appeared below them. "This magic..." Ace muttered.

"Look out!" Lily warned, grabbing Happy and Carla in his arms as him and Ace dodged the attack.

Knepper soon appeared. "You're not getting by me!"

"Him!" Happy exclaimed.

"From the Garou Knights!" Carla added.

"You again?!" Ace questioned.

Knepper laughed. "We still have our mission!"

Wendy and Fera get attacked by plants. "Hi! Do you remember my name?" Cosmos asked.

Purple paper surrounded Lucas and his future self. "This is..." Lucas started to say.

"Come on! At a time like this?!" Future Lucas complained.

"Would you please not belittle the kingdom's strongest executioners?" Kamika said.

"I know, Kamika." Cosmos agreed.

"That scary person isn't here." Kamika thinks to herself, referring to Mira.

Soren appeared next to Lucy. "You didn't think some cheap trick would defeat us so easily, did you?"

"I get the kid?!" Lucy exclaimed.

Some guards were currently carrying Uosuke. "Heave-ho! Heave-ho! Heave-ho!"

"Guild wizards."

Natsu turned around. "Huh?"

"I have a good idea of your principles. But now my principle is going to hold sway." Kama appeared without his mask. "No criminal is allowed to exit the palace alive."

"Jeez, you guys are pesty." Natsu commented.

"You're like an itch that won't go away no matter how hard you scratch at it." Sting added.

"Hurry! Hurry!"

"The Garou Knights headed that way, too!"

"That's encouraging! But we'd better hurry, too!"

Arcadios was putting on some armor as the doors opened. His armor clanged, getting the guards on duty's attention.

"C-Colonel Arcadios! What are you doing here?!"

"Y-You were imprisoned for treason against the kingdom!"

"Where is the princess?" Arcadios asked.

"U-Um..."

"Where is she?" Arcadios asked again.

"O-On the top floor!"

Arcadios continued on his way as the guards noticed the armor he was wearing.

"Hey, that armor..."

"Yeah, that's..."

"...the White Lily Armor!"

"Battle armor!"

Arcadios recalls his talk with Hisui once again, along with Future Lucas's words. "There's something I have to confirm." Arcadios thinks to himself, recalling Future Lucas sobbing and Sting comforting him. "Those weren't the tears of a liar. The one who's lying... is the princess."

Domus Flau...

Nero and Minerva were staring at each other before Minerva used her Magic, grabbing Nero by his ankles and throwing him through the pillars. "Nero!" Izumi shouted in worry.

"That's not like him to get caught off guard like that!" Rosaline stated.

Nero collapsed to the ground. "Oh, my! Stormserpent, a.k.a. Nero, is in a pinch! And Minerva's fierce attacks are unrelenting!" Chapati announced.

"How clumsy you are. And this is the guild that my father allied with? What a joke." Minerva insulted.

Nero winced as he glared at Minerva. "Let's make a deal, Minerva." He offered.

"A deal?"

"If I win, you release Lector from your clutches." Nero declared, causing Minerva to widen her eyes, but she regained composure as she narrowed her eyes.

"And what do I get if I win?" She questioned.

"I'll tell you where Sting disappeared off to. After all, it's unlike him to just abandon the Games like he did." Nero replied.

"Then, is it about time we end this?" Minerva asked, readying her Magic once more. "I think I'll publicaly execute you, Stormserpent."

"Stand up! Stand up, Nero!" Izumi encouraged.

"Well, this final battle has really cranked up the excitement, but..." Chapati trailed off as explosions were heard, revealing Lyon and Alyssa. "Uh-oh! Over here, we have another Ice Magic showdown!"

"It's against my morals to attack a beautiful woman such as yourself!" Lyon claimed as he placed his fists together.

"Then how about you just surrender now, Lyon?" Alyssa asked.

Lyon shot out icicles towards Alyssa who summoned a wall made of ice, blocking Lyon's attack. "Glacial Plummet!" Alyssa shouted, aiming large ice chunks at Lyon.

"Sky God's Dance!" Sherria intercepted before the attack had hit Lyon.

"Nice, Sherria!" Lyon complimented.

"Don't just stand there, Lyon!" Sherria scolded.

Lyon placed his fists together again. "Ice-Make: Water Serpent!" He shouted as the water serpent attacked Alyssa.

"Alyssa!" Eric called out in worry.

"Lyon, attack Eric, too!" Sherria informed.

"I'll let you handle him!" Lyon said.

"You're definitely a lot stronger than that pupil of yours." Alyssa spoke. "But I'm not seeing any teamwork. And I can take advantage of that!"

"Topography effect! Hot wind zone!" Uosuke called out as a gust of hot wind blew through Natsu and Sting.

"You're hittin' me with a heat attack? Now I'm really fired up!" Natsu claimed.

Natsu fired his breath attack at Uosuke. "Topography effect! Iceberg zone!"

The flames soon disappeared. "Pain in the ass..." Sting mumbled.

Wendy and Fera easily dodged the acid coming their way. "Come on, come on! I'll melt you, too!" Knepper said.

Wendy and Fera soon landed on the ground. "You're a Dragon Slayer, right?" Knepper asked Wendy.

"That's right. What about it?" Wendy questioned.

Acid soon flew up into the air. "Sky Dragon's Wing Attack!" Wendy called out as Black Fang Pack ate the remaining acid that flew in the air.

"I think you'll be worth melting down!" Knepper stated.

Kamika pulled out a piece of red paper. "Confetti! Red Dance!" She shouted as the paper turned into flames.

"Jade Dragon's Roar!" Lucas released his breath attack which collided against the flames, causing an explosion.

"Yellow paper is the god of lightning!" Kamika claimed.

"Lightning, huh? I've felt lightning attacks much stronger than this! Jade Dragon's Guard!" Lucas creates a cystalized shield, blocking the lightning from hitting him.

"So the years the Prince has been away from the castle, he's grown this strong, huh? Now this will be worth attacking!" Kamika claimed.

Soren looked straight at Lucy. "Crystal-Make: Mirroring Shell!" Soren placed both hands on the ground as he created a dome made of crystal around Lucy.

Lucy pulled out a gate key. "Open! Gate of the Scorpion! Scorpio!" She called out.

"Leave it to me, yay!" Scorpio said as he destroyed the crystal shell.

"Crystal-Make: Javelin!" Soren shouted as he aimed a sharp spear at Scorpio.

"Sand Wall!" Scorpio yelled, blocking the spear with a wall of sand.

"So this is Celestial Spirit Magic, eh? This should be fun." Soren commented.

Loke was hitting on Cosmos. "You're Cosmos-chan, is that right? I'm not interested in fighting cute girls, so let's be friends..." Loke suggested before he got slammed by a plant.

"I hate flirty men! I think you desecrate beauty, so get lost!" Cosmos said.

"It's all of a sudden, so you're nervous and bashful, but that's cute, too!"

"Wrong."

Yellow light appeared from Loke's hands. "Then how about this? A present from me." He claimed.

"Then these are from me. Spore Bombs!" Cosmos called out as the guards watched in amazement.

"Wow!"

"They're executioners!"

"All right, let's help them out!"

"You're not helpin' nothing!" Lily shouted.

"Stay out of the way!" Ace yelled.

Both Lily and Ace attacked the guards. Kama soon flew into the air, striking at Lily and Ace. "Criminal cat, I heard you were a soldier once." Kama said to Lily. "Why did you renounce your country and enter a wizard guild?"

The three of them soon flew back. "I could explain, but you wouldn't understand." Lily replied.

"I'll take a guess. Perhaps it wasn't a country in which loyalty was important." Kama said.

"Shut your mouth, executioner! No one insults Edolas in front of me!" Lily stated.

"Come, then!"

Future Lucas was suddenly on high alert. "Is something wrong-tai? Are you tai-tired?" Uosuke taunted.

"Whether tired or not, that don't matter." Natsu lit up his fists. "No matter how many of you come after us, that don't matter. We're gonna break through here. That's all."

Mira and Drake were shown running through the palace and looking around.

"E-Everyone! Look at this!" Chapati announced.

"Here he comes! Jura of the Ten Wizard Saints-kabo!" Mato said.

"Shall I join the contest, as well?" Jura stated. "My blood hasn't burned like this for a long time."

"So you came out, monster." Laxus commented.

"I guess you got bored of hiding." Shiro added.

Obaba chuckles to herself. "Here's where it gets real! The moment I decided to have Jura participate in this, Lamia Scale's victory was assured! Laxus, Orga, and Shiro might as well be babies!" She said.

"In other words, they're just plain unlucky!" Sherry added.

"He's too strong!" Toby exclaimed.

"Don't get mad about it." Sherry told him sheepishly.

"After you lost so easily! You wanna spin?" Obaba began spinning Toby.

"W-Wait! Wait!"

Orga, Jura, Laxus, and Shiro all had a stare off with one another. "What is this intensity?" Laxus thought.

"It's okay! You can do it! We're here, Laxus!" Freed encouraged.

"The Raijinshuu are with you!" Bickslow said.

"Laxus is nervous?!" Evergreen added in shock.

"Jura-san, I wanna see you when you're serious." Orga claimed. Black lightning soon appeared in Orga's hands. "Do you have the guts to take this?"

"Oh?"

"I'm the Lightning God Slayer." Orga informed. "God Slayer Magic or the title of Ten Wizard Saints? Which is more powerful? I'm sure everyone wants to know that. Well, Ten Wizard Saint? Can you block my magic? Or is Ten Wizard Saint just your calling card?"

Jura closed his eyes calmly. "Go ahead."

Orga smirked while Laxus watches and Shiro sighs. "I hate to interrupt this charade, but you should really watch your back more." Shiro informed, confusing Orga, Jura, and Laxus.

Out of nowhere, Atlas comes down from the sky and slams his fist into Orga's back, shocking Laxus and Jura. When the smoke cleared, Orga was knocked out cold.

"Your aim may have been for Jura-san. But I get the point." Atlas claimed. Kaiba grinned while Fairy Tail was in shock.

"I-It's Atlas! He took out Orga with a single strike!" Chapati announced as God Pegasus's point count went up.

Atlas stood up, facing Jura, Shiro, and Laxus. "And where the hell have you been?" Shiro scoffed.

"Busy taking out Gajeel. Though, it wasn't much of a fight considering he was already worn out from his fight with Rogue. I met Erza on the way here aiding Kagura. She informed me Nero's fighting Minerva." Atlas replied.

"I see. Alyssa most likely took out Juvia. Her and Eric are probably battling Lyon and Sherria as we speak." Shiro hummed, looking at Laxus and Jura. "So we just need to take these two out?"

"Correct. And we shouldn't forget Dobengal, who's been MIA for the whole battle." Atlas reminded.

Shiro and Atlas stood back to back. "Let's win this damn thing and get Lucas back!" Shiro announced.

"Couldn't have said it better myself." Atlas grinned.

Both Shiro and Atlas charged at their opponents.
