"Now it's your turn." All Might said from the jumbo screen, pointing directly to the camera, at all of them. The whole country and the crowd around him cheered, Izuku shed tears and silently cried. He and Bakugo heard a gasp and looked up at the screen, as their eyes widen in horror. Koyuki's body topple to the ground, both of them move and ran ignoring the bellows of Tenya and Kirishima.
"She just collapsed!! Dragoon Koyuki collapsed!!" The reporter shouted in worry and panic, the 2 ignored the gasps and chatters of shock and horrified people around them and ran to the area where the battle once stood.
Not even the cameramen tried to get a closer Shot of the fallen Dragon slayer, due to the police officers pushing them back. Paramedics scrambled to the fallen girl, pushing past every person that blocked their paths. 1 of them stopped, a now frantic all might, who cried out to her worriedly.
The audience were very worried.
"KOYUKI!!" Daisy flew in and reached her partner's body, she turned her over in shock and fear, her small form shaking. "I-i-i can't feel her magic..." she started to panic, "KOYUKI! PLS, DON'T DIE!!" She became hysterical as she shook her partner's body.
Everyone was completely shocked, "WHAT!?" They shouted.
"What does that mean?" Mina asked starting to panic, "is Koyuki-chan alright?"
"Her magic? What's wrong?" Sero asked also starting to panic.
"Miss Dragoon will pull through? No?" Yuga asked tears starting to form.
3 paramedics arrived, 1 of them had to pull the sobbing daisy off Koyuki. They ignored her shouts and struggle, the other 2 we're by koyuki's side. 1 checked for a pulse, "she doesn't have a pulse!"
"Proceed to CPR!" The paramedic counted each pump to the mage's chest, the 3rd paramedic joined to help.
Many started to pray for Koyuki to be alright.
"The paramedics are proceeding to CPR! But things aren't looking well!!" The reporter stated.
They checked for a pulse, only for them to look panic. "Still no pulse!"
"KEEP (FUCKING) TRYING!!" Izuku, Katsuki, Ochako, Shoto and Mirio shouted.
"KEEP TRYING!!" Someone shouted as koyuki's body jolted from the harsh pump, Izuku and Katsuki could only watch from a distance. The sight made Katsuki freeze in horror but Izuku push himself faster, the blonde grasped his hair in horror as the paramedics continue to give her CPR. "Patient not responding!"
"DO SOMETHING!!!" All the students shouted.
"She can't die! She just can't!" Toru cried.
"CLEAR A PATH!!" A 4th paramedic came in sliding and took the other's place for the CPR, hearing the 10 counts of pumping their chest. Her eyes remained hollow, directed towards the mortified people.
Izuku reached the scene, but was held back by the police force. "KOYUKI!!" He shouted but they kept him back, pushing him. Izuku continued to try to break through their hold shouting her name.
Inko cried a flood seeing her son's distraught face, "she cries more than juvia." Gray said looking at the tears.
"No kidding." Gajeel sweatdrop.
"GET HER TO THE HOSPITAL!! SHE'S STILL NOT RESPONDING!!" 1 of the paramedics ordered, as a few others ran in with a stretcher. They radioed the nearest hospital to prepare themselves and be on standby, Izuku kept trying to push through and hysterically shouting out koyuki's name. They hoisted her up onto the stretcher, crowds of people watch in horror as the paramedics rolled her body to the EM vehicle. Shoto and Momo were frozen, watching them take the body away. Momo shielding her mouth, head shaking in denial at what was happening.
Momo was also shielding her mouth and crying.
Shoto was pale and shivering in shock and horror, his mix coloured eyes never left her form on the television screen.
Shoto was pale and shivering as his on screen self, he prayed Koyuki would make it through.
Kirishima ran in the scene to see Katsuki's frozen form and hearing Izuku's tearful shouts, turning to see the body of the Dragon slayer being rushed in the vehicle and for the paramedics start CPR inside. Biting his bottom lip and running to the ash blonde and grasping his shoulders, shaking him and calling his name but Katsuki wasn't listening.
Kirishima looked at his friends, all distraught. He looked down as tears formed in his eyes.
Katsuki just watch the whole thing and their saddened reactions, their faces twisted in desperation as they continued with new vigor. His body shook, his eyes lowered to the silverette's body. She did not move, nor signs of breathing. Her eyes were a dark hollow blue, almost as if they were dead. His hand shakenly reached towards the mage, until the doors closed shut and the vehicle drove off from the scene and out of sight. As they watched it disappear, "KOYUKI!!!" Izuku let out a shaky cry ripped from his lungs, the screen turned black.
Almost everyone was concerned for Izuku who is hugging his knees and crying.
Rapid breathing and shoes clicking the concrete can be heard on the dark screen, gasps as if someone was running. Izuku appeared breathing erratically, footsteps running on the pavement. He gasped but kept pushing his already exhausted body, flashes of him breaking free from the police and running after the ambulance. He ignored Kirishima and Iida calling out to him, tripping heavily to the ground, cursing at the pain on his hands and knees. His legs trembling, 'keep going...! Keep going Dammit!!' He screamed in his thoughts, 'Don't you dare stop!!' Emerald orbs blurring with new tears, 'Koyuki's in trouble!! Don't you dare stop!!'
"Wow, you/he must really love/loves Koyuki to keep going." Joanne and Stella said at the same time, Izuku was blushing red and the love rivals didn't find this amusing.
The hospital was within sight with the same EM vehicle and number, he pushed himself beyond his limits and through the automatic doors. Tripping forward and rasping loudly for air, making the doctors and nurses flinch in surprise. "... ko... Yuki..." He gasped out incoherently, sweat dripping and pelting the floors.
"Midoriya, you have some determination." Mashiruo said impressed.
The closes female nurse approached him cautiously, "pa-pardon?" She asked the exhausted teen.
"... koyu... ki..." Izuku rasped.
The nurse frowned in concern, "uh, um, kid, we need last name-"
"... Dragoon! Pls... is she..." He gasped in plea, wiping his forehead in exhaustion. Looking up with pleading emeralds.
The nurse blinked in utter shock realizing this boy ran all the way then remembered the news about 2 arrested villains, 1 heading to jail and the other being taken to the hospital for villain's. She turned back to the teen, "I'm sorry kid, we can't allow--"
"He has every right." Recovery girl said stunning the nurse, "he's her host family."
"Good old recovery girl." All Might said.
Izuku was on his hands and knees glancing back to the elder in exhausted shock, "recovery... girl...?" He managed to breathe out.
"I rushed out of my home the moment I saw her loaded in the vehicle." Recovery girl informed them, "What's the patient's condition."
"They've entered her to the emergency room, and they're operating her at the moment. She's bleeding internally, believing that may possibly be 1 of the reasons for heart failing." The nurse explained.
Izuku stiffened and turned pale in terror, 'her... heart... failed...'
Everyone was very distraught, "Koyuki-chan..." All the girls cried.
"Dragoon..." the teachers and some of the male students looked helpless.
'no... no... She has to live... She has too... so I can...' The love interests thought and swallowed their gut wrenching feeling.
'This was exactly what happened back in earthland...' Wendy cried remembering how she healed Koyuki the best she could even with porlyusica's help, Koyuki took the longest to heal. Lucy went on a solo mission and found the legendary Phoenix key, this spirit revived Koyuki.
Recovery girl straightened seriously, "show me the operation room."
"This way, ma'am." The nurse guided the elder woman, but quickly glanced back to the frozen teen on the ground. "Pls wait in the waiting room." Then rushed off with the youthful heroine towards the ER.
Everyone looked at Izuku who finally lifted his head off his arms, he looked like a mess. "My friend, Dragoon will pull through. She's stronger than you know." Tokoyami reassured him.
Izuku was trembling on the ground, sweat pelting the marble floors. Followed by tears as the voices echoed about Koyuki in the operation room, lowering his head, pressing his forehead on the cold tiled ground. Hands curling in his hair, mumbling out trembled curses. It wasn't long before a nurse came by and requested he wait in the waiting room, she had a look of pity in her eyes.
Koyuki felt like crying seeing her beloved like this.
The scene changes to the waiting room where Izuku just sits on a chair while the clock passes the time, Inko and daisy arrived and rushed to his side. The audio was mute as Inko talked to Izuku but the poor boy didn't utter a word, his lips trembled looking into mirrored emeralds. Inko threw her arms around her son, holding him close. He didn't return the embrace, a doctor called them over. "Midoriya?" He asked.
They rushed to him, "how is she!?" The 2 humans and exceed asked.
"Midoriya... with many medical reviews and treatments... we are sorry to say she's..." He sighed, "Dragoon Koyuki is comatose..."
Everyone was horrified, the love rivals were ready to break down. 'just like in our world.' Natsu said remembering how he never left Koyuki's side when she was comatose, he barely ate and didn't go on jobs until Koyuki opened her eyes.
Izuku chocked out a cry, until he was gasping out a sob. 'no... no... She can't be... Koyuki... She's my best friend...' He thought.
Katsuki froze, he used to be Izuku's best friend but he has no idea how to react to this. He knows that he and most of his classmates have feelings for frozo especially him and deku.
"KOYUKIIIII!!!" Daisy sobbed loudly falling to her knees.
Shinso felt bad for daisy and wanted to comfort her, Koyuki hugged her little exceed.
"It's quite a miracle she survived, with how damaged her organs, fractured and broken bones, high blood loss from the internal and external bleeding, and life-threatening those injuries are, she should've died. And she did at 1st, miraculously her heart started on it's own..." but doctors voice trailed off and focused on Izuku who shut all of the noise around him.
Almost half the audience wanted to puke or were shocked at how much damage Koyuki had, "I can't believe she somehow survived that..." Sero muttered.
Izuku's eyes slowly trailed to the side, his body grew cold and stiff. 3 nurses pushed a bed with a body on, mask over their face, their source of breathing connected to a heart monitor. Almost completely covered in bandages, though seeps of blood could be seen. He saw her face fully, white eyelashes gently pressed on her pale cheeks. Multiple bandages covers her gashes; a large 1 on her left jawline, under her blue hospital gown, her entire body was completely mummified.
"Koyuki-chan..." Toru and some of the students cried, many winced at her injured body.
"Koyuki..." His body moved on it's own, 'pls, god, no! Koyuki! Wake up-- PLEASE!!!' He screamed in his thoughts.
Koyuki Shed tears for Izuku, she now knows he loves her deeply and she understands she loves him very much.
"Koyuki!" He called her out, causing the doctor to stop him from heading to Dragoon. But Izuku pushed him aside, causing the man to be assertive in holding him back.
"Izuku! Honey!" Inko worried frantically for her son, he still cried out to her until she wrapped her arms around him in an embrace. Izuku felt defeated and cease his struggling against the doctor, tears spilling from both Midoriyas. Inko sobbed and hugged her son to calm down, Izuku could only watch the nurses push the mage's body. He remembered the day he was diagnosed quirkless but this felt much worse watching his best friend rolled away into a room.
Inko was crying so much, Mitsuki could only hug her best friend in comfort.
Emeralds completely blurred by his wave of tears, grasping his heart burned from the striking pain. "Why did this have to happen to her... why her...!?" He cried.
"I'm sorry Izuku... I'm so sorry..." Koyuki cried holding daisy close.
Erza hugged Koyuki in comfort, "you have nothing to apologize Koyuki, their not use to mages. We have worse situations and we can't blame them for being traumatized on what they witnessed but it's going to be alright." She said.
"We can't sympathize them but mages and Heroes are very different." Macarov said.
Around the corner Bakugo was there and by the look on his face heard it all: horror stricken and silent, red orbs trembling at the scene. He watched the midoriyas cry onto the other, the mage pushed into a room. Shaking his head in denial, he turned around and ran.
Katsuki knew why his alternate self left the hospital, he felt weak and so did he.
Izuku Sat alone in the waiting room, emeralds becoming a hollow jade colour. He flinch as his phone vibrated; pulling it out and unlocking to see a message from all might.
All Might: come to the beach. I have something to tell you.
Izuku: all might...
More tears clouded his vision, shakenly typing his response.
Izuku: Koyuki's in a coma
All Might: what's the address.
"All Might?" Izuku called out and said hero looked at him, "What did you wanted to tell me in the screen."
"It may show what it is." All Might answered.
"... not only that, 1 of the 2 students that were abducted-- Dragoon Koyuki-- is hospitalized, sources say she's under a deep coma and have no estimation when she'll awaken...-" A reporter narrated from outside the hospital, words appeared: 3 days later.
"It's only been 3 days..." Sato said.
Many heroes came bearing gifts or get well presents to Koyuki, they gave their condolences to the midoriyas and daisy. Others were too emotional to finish their sentence.
"Whoa, look at all the heroes... wait is that...?" Kendo and Momo had blank expressions seeing the heroine they interned with come to visit Koyuki.
"Some of the heroes are in disguises." Koda signed, seeing the miruko, the rabbit heroine there being so quiet.
"Hawks..." Tokoyami muttered seeing his mentor give the midoriyas and daisy a silent condolences.
"It's the sidekicks of Endeavour!" Tetsutetsu pointed out, they looked distraught and sad.
"Koyuki-chan must've befriend them." Komori said.
"Even wash is there." Ibara said, she had her hands clasped praying for Koyuki.
"Even snatch..." Monoma muttered seeing the sand quirk user getting emotional.
"Manual..." Iida muttered watching his mentor bring beautiful white and blue flowers for Koyuki.
"Native is there too." Juzo pointed out, the hero looked very sad and his eyes were red.
"That's a lot of heroes." Shoda muttered.
Deatharms, sat on a chair across the bed, rubbing his temple in defeat, before getting up and saying he'll light a cigar outside. He looked back at the girl with hopeful eyes but she didn't move, so he just left.
"I... kinda feel sorry for him..." Sen said.
"Yeah, I guess Dragoon may have been a pain but she managed to impress him. I wonder what she did to do that...?" Awase muttered.
Backdraft, brought lilies to the mage, bowing to the girl in thanks for what she did.
"I don't think any of us could win against those dark wizards." Midnight said.
"Not only that but there are still the other followers who were brought with Val." Nezu pointed out, "this mission is far from over." Everyone nodded in agreement but they were also worried, the main villain has been defeated but there's still Shigaraki and the rest of the league on the loose. All Might had a bad feeling in his gut.
The wild wild pussycats and Kota visited, poor kid was distraught and almost broke down at the sight of the mage. He had flashes of his parents death till Mandalay scooped him up into a hug and left her partners when the boy whimpered tearfully, she bit her bottom lip at the sight of the girl as well.
"Poor kid..." power loader said.
"They don't look like they're gonna last." Cementoss said sadly seeing the wild wild pussycats on the verge of crying, Koyuki couldn't help but cry for all the heroes who visited her.
Later, yagi, Aizawa and hayashi visited as well. the 2 blondes couldn't finish nor look to long at the teen before tears were being shed, "she was right before me! If only I was quick enough-- DAMMIT!!" Yagi shouted, clearly blaming himself.
"We couldn't do anything against Val, he was much stronger and all they did was just attack. No plan, plus we don't have magic cuffs that nullify their magic." Gran torino pointed out, Macarov sighed. Every time his children would fail to bring Koyuki back, they would sulk for a few minutes before getting back on their feet and work harder.
Hayashi was also wallowing in self blame, "I actually thought she was a spy but... She's just from another world... a lost child who risked her life against that malicious villain." He said with a lot of guilt.
"What!? I thought she was a traitor!? I'm a terrible person!" Present Mic shouted.
"Mic, you didn't know. Sure her powers are different and unheard of but--" Aizawa tried to calm his best friend.
"No!" Yuga stood up, "his not wrong..." He started to cry, "I'm sorry... I'm so sorry everyone."
"Yuga? Ribbit?" Tsuyu looked at him.
He raised his head, "I'm the real traitor..." Everyone was shocked, "My quirk... was given to me..." He looked at all Might.
All Might, Gran torino, sir nighteye and Nezu had a look of realization. "No..." All Might couldn't believe it.
"I was born quirkless, everyone was born with a quirk but not me. I was so scared because I was different... I didn't know how to react when the doctors told me." He began to shake, "I... I.. I just wanted to be a hero... a twinkling brave hero to help everyone... but... but... I didn't know how I could do it without a quirk..." He broke down crying, Izuku stood up, walked to Yuga and hugged him tight.
"And this is why your society is too flawed, always quirks what about them. the quirkless... your heroes but you couldn't save quirkless people who died by suicide." Joanne said clearly disappointed.
Nezu walked to Yuga, "does the league know?" He asked Yuga.
Who shakes his head, "No, all for one kept me a secret. And I had to report to him when we get to camp... but now... I understand if you expel me and you all hate me."
"To be honest, I'm not that angry." Kirishima said.
"Neither am I." Bondo said.
"We kinda learn from these videos about how flawed our society is and the bigger picture, you didn't have a choice." Reiko said.
"You didn't asked to be born quirkless." Shinso said.
"You're just a victim." Monoma said.
"I don't want you to get expelled." Izuku said, "you have amazing skills Yuga, it's ok to feel this way."
"We can't expel you." Nezu said, "you may work with all for one but you don't want to correct?" Yuga nodded, "then we will all help you."
Aizawa looked bitter but he was supportive throughout the visit.
"My students needed me after all, but I don't think I could help against wizards." Aizawa sighed.
Many of the U.A students came with their parents, 1st was Ochako and her parents. They see a sleeping daisy beside the silverette in her human form, Ochako had brought flowers and a card. She was in tears seeing Koyuki in her state.
Ochako was crying her eyes out, Koyuki felt bad for making her friend feel that way.
Tenya and his brother came inside next, the man thank the mage for protecting the people and his brother, he also had flowers and a card. Tenya didn't look very well, They excused themselves and turned to a secluded area where Tenya broke down and his brother comforted him as best as he could.
Tenya broke down crying, Ochako hugged her friend in comfort.
Toru came inside with a gift, flowers and a card. She didn't took it very well seeing her friend's state, Kirishima and Mashiruo were supporting her. They both brought flowers and cards.
Toru was crying and hugging Mina who was also crying, Kirishima and Mashiruo looked on the verge of crying.
Shoto visited next with his sister and mother, Rei would thank Koyuki for what she's done. Fuyumi broke down in tears and hugged her brother, Shoto looked like he was trying to hold back any tears of his own.
Shoto was already crying silent tears, Rei on the other hand was crying her eyes out much like Inko.
Kyoka, mina and Momo visited next, both girls burst out crying seeing the state of the silverette. They both brought flowers and cards, Kyoka also had a mix tape with some music from the 1970's to 1990's.
All the girls were crying.
Tsuyu and Yuga silently visited, at 1st they stiffened at Koyuki's state. They gulped and left their gifts and cards before giving their condolences to the midoriyas and daisy, they left immediately trying to hide their tears.
Tsuyu and Yuga sobbed, Yuga knew that even though it's an alternate universe, he believes its still his fault.
The rest of the males arrived, some trying so hard not to cry. They all have gifts, flowers and cards. Sato made daisy sugar cookies, she accepted the cookies.
"Man, we look like a mess. And I'm shock Mineta can actually behave!" Sero said wiping his tears.
Class B also came to visit, for once Monoma behaved. Daisy explained to them about her and KoyukI, at 1st they were amazed until hearing about Val and the abuse she went through made them carry. "That would explain her ability." Awase muttered, they dropped off their gifts to Koyuki.
The class B girls were crying, the class B boys were close to crying. 'At least Monoma knows when to be more respectful.' Vlad thought.
The teachers came with solemn expression, since Nezu was helping with the aftermath of the battle, recovery girl was there on his behalf with flowers and a card.
Nezu sighed, he knew how much damage of the aftermath.
Izuku visited the Dragon slayer everyday, a sad look on his face, constantly receiving pitied looks from doctors and nurses. He would sometimes see daisy sitting by koyuki's bedside, sometimes he sat there, clenching his fists on his knees. He trembled with regret and despair, 'i should have told her about the dark wizards who were with the league! I should've apologize!' He thought.
The doors to exit the theatre opened, "everyone, your going to see something disturbing and makes you want to puke. You can watch it and will get therapy afterwards or watch it for the sake of experience." Joanne warned but nobody walked out, they wanted to see it through.
Even Rei wanted to swallow her fear, "are you sure? This may trigger you." Stella said in worry.
Izuku was crying in bed, struggling, calling koyuki's name. He was dreaming of Koyuki and her getting tortured the night Bakugo was kidnapped.
Everyone was either shocked or pale, 'What the fuck? Deku's having a nightmare about that? Why?' Katsuki thought.
The next nightmare was a tall man with long dark blue tresses of hair holding Koyuki by the throat, the girl was in complete and utter fear as the man grasped her head. And a shadow silhouette of him... (God give me strength) ripping her head clean off as the man laughed boastfully.
"Oh my god!!!" Almost everyone screamed in horror, fainted from shock or puked in a bucket Joanne provided.
"What the fuck was that?!" Katsuki shouted crying.
"It's a possible future..." Joanne said.
"Dragoon is going to die!?" Jurota asked in fear.
"No! She's not dying! That's just a vision of a possible future, she doesn't die in any alternate universe!" Fairy tail didn't look well, they know that man. The my hero academia group wasn't doing very well puking except recovery girl who noticed the mage's reactions.
Last nightmare: A bright figure-- A man-- with golden eyes, stood behind Koyuki and Izuku. He was hugging Koyuki in his arms, she was... bleeding: tears of blood, chocking out blood, ears spilling blood. He was crying hysterically like a cry for help, but no one came... and that man held up a golden glyph, it looked like a cloak. Cracks were littered on the thing, Koyuki went limp, slowly turned to stone and shattering into emerald dust. Izuku just sobbed and hugged himself, the man behind his dream self glared down at him. Then slowly glared up, "you did this to her." He said, "you" Izuku looked up with tears, "killed" he removed his arms around his body on his dream self, "Koyuki."
"Pls tell me there's no other nightmares?" Shihai begged.
"Nope, that's the last 1." Joanne confirmed.
"master...?" Mirajane got his attention.
"I know..." Macarov said and nodded to her in understanding, 'What a mess they will definitely get dragged into that war...' He thought, fairy tail look very uneasy.
Izuku woke up from that nightmare looking around until his breathing was calming down, 'she's still in the hospital...' He thought, he trembled in fear and his hands skimmed on something blue. Thanks to the moonlight by his window it revealed Koyuki's plush, stitch. He shakenly grasped the toy and brought it close to his form, 'It smells like forest pine and sea salt.' He thought, flashes of Koyuki snuggling stitch. He whimpered and somehow hears Koyuki humming the sea king's lullaby, the greenette buried his face in the plush's blue fur, tears dampening it. An image of Koyuki holding him, singing gently in his hair, soothing him to sleep. 'i wish she was here... but she isn't...'
Izuku was being hugged by Yuga as the love rivals tightened their fists, alternate Izuku had the advantage of winning Koyuki. Inko cried at her alternate son getting terrible nightmares, fairy tail looked worried.
"Katsuki..." Mitsuki knocked at her son's door, there was no response and she glanced at her husband. He looked worried, 'Katsuki hasn't left his room after the kamino disaster, since Koyuki-chan collapsed and became hospitalized.' She thought.
The Bakugo parents had solemn looks, worried for their son watching this.
Mitsuki turned back to the door, "Katsuki... you can't hide in your room, we have to visit Koyuki-chan." She said, flashback of her son coming home with police escorts. His face was pale and looked like he'd been through and witnessed terrible things, once the police left Katsuki embraced his parents trembling in his hold. The news reported on what happened to Koyuki and they were devastated, Katsuki just locked himself in his room. Flashback ends, Mitsuki place a Palm on the door. "Pls... you have to see her... for your sake." She said gently and the door unlocked and slowly opened.
Mitsuki sobbed as Masaru hugged her close, Katsuki really wanted to see his parents right now.
"Poor Midoriya... he's been visiting Dragoon everyday." A nurse whispered, glancing at the saddened teen entering the elevator.
Everyone was still in a sad mood, "He's just as dedicated as Natsu." Cana said.
Izuku had deep dark circles around his eyes, sadly stared at the floors of the elevator. He looked up when the doors open and exit out, he head down the hall and nodded to familiar doctors and nurses. They greeted him in return.
Almost everyone winced at Izuku's state, 'dedication to the person he loves...' Many thought, even fairy tail can see how much Izuku loves Koyuki!
Izuku paused by koyuki's room, he was about to open it when he heard a familiar voice. 'It's the Bakugo's...' He thought, 'They haven't been able to visit Koyuki yet...' He listened to the conversation.
"Koyuki-chan, honey, thank you for protecting my idiot brat... I bet he was a handful... right...?" Mitsuki said as the only sound was the heart monitor along with the pumps from the air mask, she quireved a bit, trying to hold back tears. "But knowing you, you would deny it and say 'nah, He's just being... just being himself... a daredevil.'" Trying to mimic koyuki's voice, flashbacks of Koyuki visiting their home to have dinner. The Dragon slayer gleefully greeted Mitsuki and her husband, smiling broadly towards them. Flashback ends, Mitsuki's tears were spilling. "Huh, that's what you would say, right?"
Mitsuki was in tears hugging Koyuki for 2 reasons: 1, her son is probably traumatized and 2, he may not win her heart.
"Ha--... mom, can you guys leave me for a moment." Katsuki said making Mitsuki jump in surprise.
Izuku's head shot up and looked at Katsuki, "he barely calls her mom." He whispered.
"What?" Kyoka and Mezo looked at him.
Mitsuki was shocked, "I haven't heard him call me that in years..." She said in shock.
"What kind of child doesn't address their mother?" Lucy asked with a sweatdrop.
"Mitsuki, Let's leave Katsuki for a moment..." Masaru said getting a nod from his wife.
Mitsuki leaned over the girl, "get better, sweetie..." She said petting the silverette's short hair, she leaned over and pecked her forehead.
"Wow, you're mother is very loving. Unlike you." Setsuna said.
"Shut the fuck up! I don't need that sappy shit!" Katsuki shouted.
Izuku hid and waited for his aunt and uncle to leave a bit further, he can hear Mitsuki's sniffles turn to cracked sobs. Masaru was comforting his wife, Izuku slowly walked to the door and peaked to see Katsuki's back towards him. The blonde stood stiff before the bed, "I know you're there, deku..." Izuku said making Izuku flinch and slowly entered the room, he gulped shakenly when he heard the familiar sounds of machinery and heartbeat monitor.
Everyone was very quiet, kind of nervous.
The silence was broken by the blonde's low, fake chuckles. "He he... can you believe this idiot, thinking I needed protection..." Izuku looked confused until Bakugo turned to him, his eyes widened. Dark circles around his reddened orbs, sign of lack of sleep. Seeing rebellious tears rivering down, skin pale and sickly, from lack of sleep and eating.
Everyone winced at alternate Katsuki's state, "Man, you do not look so good." Kirishima muttered.
'I'm going to need some help with this...' Hound dog thought.
Izuku's nails digging into his skin as the sound of the heart monitor was the only thing there in the room, "kacchan..." He rasped.
"And now she's inn a coma... this fucking... IDIOT!" Katsuki slammed his fist into the wall in frustration and anger towards himself more than Koyuki.
"Kacchan! Stop blaming yourself."
"You weren't there! You didn't see how they fucking tortured her on day-fuckin-1!!" Izuku flinched remembering that dream, "you didn't see them beat her! Stab her! Humiliate her! Then once they fucking had their disgusting fun, they'd turn her over and face me!! ME!! As if saying it's my fault!! As if saying I have a chance of saving her, but knew if I even move they'll kill her!! Do you have any fucking idea, deku, how it FEELS to see her bleeding as she utters, 'it'll be ok, Katsuki.' DO YOU!!" Izuku was crying and so was his former best friend.
'yup, everyone needs a lot of therapy. I may need some help.' Hound dog thought.
'no, I don't understand what you both went through. And it hurts to know you both went through that!' Izuku thought flashes of seeing a bloodied and bruised Koyuki on Katsuki's back during the kamino ward, "You're right, I don't understand..." He was shaking as more memories of koyuki's bloodied form and her tortuous fight with Val, remembering her cries and screams of pain.
"I'm so... sorry... Everyone... for... no-not being honest an-... And prepared..." koyuki's voice back at the training camp.
"... but I'll do my best to help..."
Koyuki smiled at Izuku she couldn't wait to meet him in person or sneak in again.
Then a blaring sound resounded throughout the room, they both snapped at the direction of koyuki's heart monitor where was flat-lined.
"KOYUKI!!!" "DRAGOON!!" Everyone shouted in fear.
"KOYUKI!!" Izuku rushed to the mage's side, grasping her shoulder. Tired jade eyes wide, shaking with wild emotion of terror.
Katsuki immediately went and pressed the emergency call, "SEND SOMEONE HERE DAMMIT!! SHE'S FLAT-LINING!!"
"KOYUKI!! PLS!!" Izuku shaked her form, the blaring noise continued. Trembling as he was crying again, he continued to cry at the top of his lungs, begging the mage, an entity-- ANYTHING! He was abruptly wrenched away from the silverette, emergency response teams rushed and began CPR, a repeated scenario, pumping her chest with each count, her body thumping and the monitors blaring dreadfully. "KOYUKI!!" He shouted as Shoto dragged him out.
Everyone was very much worried and terrified, "Todoroki arrived when the response team came." Joanne explained.
Once all 3 were outside, the door slammed shut only hearing the counts and the god awful sound from the machine. Izuku crumbled to the ground once Shoto released his grasp, "God, pls... save Koyuki!!" He sobbed pitifully with waves of tears, curling within himself, grasping his curls tightly. An ear splitting noise broke his thoughts, he trembled and saw Katsuki pressed on the wall, terror filled rubies stared at the doors as both their tears pelted the marble floors.
He couldn't forget those golden eyes glaring at him, 'you. Killed. Koyuki.' From his dream.
10 minutes later, 1 of the doctors exited the room and announced Koyuki is stabilized. Izuku sobbed out in relief, forearm shielding over his eyes, as his body trembled in great relief. "Thank god... she's ok... she's ok..." He mumbled gratefully, not caring at the worried stares from his 2 classmates and the doctor.
Everyone breathe out a sigh of relief, "I swear this mage is giving me grey hairs." All Might muttered.
"Midoriya, everyone, we'll have to cut dragoon's visiting hour short. But if you, Midoriya, wish to say anything else to her, do so now before we proceed with her check-up."
'why is it, the way that doctor spoke was similar to a priest officiating a wedding?' Joanne thought.
Izuku silently agreed and shakenly stood back up and re-entered the room, he paused remembering the flat-lined heart monitor but trudged his way to the bed. He sniffled seeing her looked paler.
Everyone winced, recovery girl wondered what happened.
"Koyuki... Pls wake up." Izuku said whimpering, tearing anew, emeralds gazed upon her listless face, tremors shook his form at hearing the respiratory system pump in air. 'I should've pleaded more, she has to wake up! She has to live! For her brother! Her home! And her family!' He thought.
Fairy tail smiled at Izuku, "well, he has my approval." Master Macarov said, "anyone who knows Koyuki well can date her."
"He's ok..." Natsu grumbled, "but I want to fight him!" Erza bashed his head, 'i mean she's my biological sister and I did made 1 huge mistake... Izuku isn't so bad... He has some issues but... I guess I'll know when I meet him...' He thought very unsure what the future will hold.
Izuku grasped Koyuki's lifeless hand, cupping it between both of his. He whimpered as tears pelted down his cheeks, as he brought her hand to his cheeks. A sad gaze upon the girl he loves, "wake up and come home to us." He said.
"Wow, he really loves her." Mina whispered and Toru nodded.
'their right, I do love Koyuki. and now that I realized that...' Izuku was deep in thought, '... what am I going to do? is it selfish to ask her to stay with me? is it selfish I want her to leave earthland? is it selfish to feel like she's the reason I want to be a hero? What if she actually died? Do I keep going?'
